Off left side of a plane until it changed and went UP?

Looked up at the moving planes like I do every night when I take my dog out. Noticed a light that I could not decide if it was one light or 4-5 lights? I noticed that a plane with flashing lights approached this object from its left side. There were no blinking lights on it. All of a sudden, it started to go up. In a matter of 5-10 seconds, it went straight up until it was gone. The plane that had approached was still on course and clear. This light, or cluster, changed course and went straight out into space? It moved wrong when I first noticed it. Then it was not blinking. Most of all, I reiterate that it went from bright to dim, dimmer, and then started to disappear as it got smaller? Might or might not have been more than one when I first noticed. I want to say no, but my memory believes there was 4-5 to start with. Only one was real bright to start?

Didn't realize what I captured until looking at photos

I was a passenger in a moving vehicle and I was taking a picture of the sunset in Iowa and I took two pictures back to back and when I looked at the second picture days later I noticed an object in the picture that was not in the first picture nor was it in the distance of the area I was photographing. It looks as if there is a rectangular three-dimensional platform and a dark shadow that descends in the shape of a cone

I noticed an object hovering in the air and took a picture. I mention multiple witnesses as I was on a plane with my squadron and only guess they must've seen it too. Sighting was never mentioned due to ridicule.

Time felt missing, far more than just simply being on a 4 hour flight.

Left Ohio heading to Connecticut. Heading towards New York border 1:30 a.m. on a lonely Highway just after rainstorm. Came around a Ben

Coming from Ohio to Connecticut. 40 miles from New York Border in pennsylvania. Unsure of where we were. Came around the corner on this highway after a rainstorm 1:30 a.m.. myself my wife and kids. Kids were asleep. As we came around the corner we were no less than 100 feet from this craft. It was massive. Overhung the highway over this Valley and it was way over 100 ft wide. I am a former helicopter mechanic and I know a bit about aviation. This thing had Square Windows. Each window was approximately 3 ft by 3 ft and it was at least 16 to 18 across and the same across the upper level as well. We had complete paralysis as the car came to a stall. All we could do is move our eyes and saw 45 beings out of peripheral. Gray one piece outfits on. There were many components on the outside of this craft that were attached. A peach colored light emitted from each window but we were looking upwards kind of towards the craft so could not see directly in but only the ceiling of each level basically. I have seen UFO since I was a child and approximately every 3 to 5 years I see one usually with family or friends present. I believe this thing knew I was there or on my way around that corner. We will woke up 5 Mi away an hour and a half later on an exit completely stirred and shaken. There's no doubt in my mind my family and I were abducted that night and dropped back off. I would like to do hypnotic regression. The thought of it makes me nervous thinking back on it. This is an absolutely 100% true story and I would take a lie detector test if need be.

I saw a shadow appear on the ground in an otherwise sunny sky, I looked up to see nothing but blinding sun. I grabbed my camera and took a series of photos in a very difficult lighting condition. 2 cross shaped objects turned into aerodynamic objects with incapable maneuverabilities. Dissapearance and sudden appearance

I was on a flight from Rdu to Dal. It was approximately 4:30 pm. I believe it was over Louisiana, but I will need to recall better if I can review a flight map. It was over very barron farm land. History and Acredidation: I have been a Nicu RN for 24 years. I have an educational background of molecular and zoological biology as well as advanced Nursing degrees. I was married to a pilot in the Royal Norwegian Airforce for many years, and lived at Andoya' Airstation, Eglin airforce base, and other airforce bases. My husband was a Captain who piloted P3 planes, and trained students in the U.S. and Norway. I traveled with him on several sized aircrafts. I became quite familiar with planes and their operations. Before this marriage, I was married to a Major in the Marine Corp, and became familiar with their aircraft and ground tactical equipment. I worked on base as a government employee. I grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, and my parents both worked for the C.I.A. I am 50 years old, and of sound mind. This sighting has haunted and perplexed me from day one, and I can't make sense of it even with a couple of years of trying to persuade myself that it was of advanced military nature. I am hoping someone else saw the same occurance, and that this report can add to similar sightings. I am looking for answers as best that you can supply. When filling out the report, when one of my choices were "changing" and "crosses", it made me pause. Are crosses a typical form seen? This is the first shape that I saw for a short few seconds.
The following is what I saw: (Details of time, dates and area will absolutely be off.)
I was sitting in a window aisle of my plane about 2 aisles behind the right wing. We were heading West towards Dallas Love Field. No houses , buildings, roads, airstrip or airfields were noted in the area below in my field of vision. I made a conscious effort to look for anything other than crop fields after viewing these flying objects.. Approximately 8,000 feet below us (?), and about 5000 feet North of us, a quick glimpse of silver crosses appeared in my vision after approximately 2 small glimmers of bright yellow light appeared at the same time. The objects appeared as if in a strobe fashion, but the flashes of light were quick and instant. Not very noticeable flashes . To simply describe; The objects were not there one second, and suddenly they were there. They were horizontal, tubular, pale, whitish silver, crosses that had a glowing light to them after the two tiny bits of flash lighting. The "glowing" was not similar to sunlight falling on a reflective surface. This light was brighter in nature with sharp spheres of light that came off of the cross like object, but the brightness lasted only about 1 second. Within approximately 3 seconds they formed into what appeared to be slender airplane like objects with no glowing light, but they were not similar to any of the many military planes I am familiar with. They had not changed direction or altitude during this transformation of cross shaped to more aerodynamically shaped. They did not gather reflection off of different spheres of sunlight. This was distinctly, not reflection from sunlight. I can describe them as being the size of a 737, but much more slender and cylindrical like a Valkyrie, only shorter. Again, nothing of any military appearance that I had come to be familiar with. What made me continue to focus on them was the fact that these two large items of aircraft were utilizing a very small area of airspace to make their maneuvers. No plane of this size would be operating in their flight manner in such a small area, let alone, two aircrafts this large flying so close together in the fast and erratic pattern that they were. I can describe the size of the area as being about 900 square feet. The crop below looked as if it could be about 20 acres. I own 20 acres myself in Texas, and it was of similar size. The objects stayed in this small area while doing their impressive maneuvers. At first, the flight patterns of each "plane" were crossing each other in quick, short, bursts of power while still maintaining themselves in this same small area of airspace. One would go under the other or diagonally go in front or behind the other. I saw what seemed to be hesitation of forward or diagonal movement for less than 1/4 second intervals. For approximately 10 seconds, it was erratic cross patterns of flight that would reasonably be unobtainable in any aircraft of this size and length, and again, in such a short area of distance to each other. I got the sense that these crafts were possibly featherlight in weight as they had a bit of floating characteristics when not in their burst of energy fast mode. After the erratic, slow, and then fast flight patterns of these plane objects, they broke into a tandem pattern with one object diagonal, and what seemed as slightly lower to the other. They then flew North East in a diagonal pattern for about 400 feet(?). They were there in that tiny area, and then in what I can describe as faster than lightening quick speed, they dissapeared. I say dissapeared because they did not fade off as if flying away. They just dissapeared as I intently focused in on them. No glowing of light accompanied the dissapearance. They disapeared quicker than they appeared, and there was no light at all accompanying the dissapearance. I remember feeling dumbfounded on what I had just witnessed. I kept focusing on the area for what seemed to be another few minutes. I unbuckled my seat belt to turn completely around in my seat to stay focused on the same square 20 acre crop area, clearly thinking they would reappear again, and that I wasn't imagining this dissapearance. There were no clouds in this area, and the glare of the sun was not interfering in my focus on them. I can imagine others would not be focusing in on these far away objects unless they recognized, as I did, that something was very "off" with a regular aircraft's capabilities. It was clear blue sky for the most part, but the distance of viewing was far enough away that it required some good focus, but more importantly, interest of odd behaving aircraft. The subjective feeling I gathered while watching this event was that the objects were in a situation that they were trying to gather control of. It seemed as if the erratic and dangerous moves were the object's ways of trying to get back in control. It didn't seem like a training exercise. It was too erratic, undeniably dangerous, and made little sense to do what they were doing, finally gain control, form a parallel pattern with each other, and then dissapear again. I kept my sight on them from their immediate appearance and immediate dissapearance. At no time did I see an air trail or any other lights omitted from the objects other than when coming into my vision and going from cross like to having formed wings and being slightly wider and longer.. Throughout this time, and after the dissapearance, I remember listening intently to anyone around me making any comments on what had just happened. I heard no comments. I can't imagine that the object's appearance would be visible to the pilots unless they were glancing in the same area as I was. They would have had to have been positioned in a right angle to see behind, diagonally, and below them when they appeared visually in the sky. The distance of the crafts were far enough away to not raise any awareness than another unidentified object was too close to their airspace. The objects were at an altitude similar to that of about 12000 feet .
I never knew there was such a possibly legitimate place where one could report their sightings before today or I would have already made this report with more accurate details to time and place. I can most certainly find my exact date, time, and flight number if my report seems to be of similar odd occurances that others have seen or if there is interest to prove further on this report. I hope you can supply some educational answers as to what I may have witnessed. I'm quite knowledgeable as to what advanced military planes of that size and shape can and can't do in such a short area and proximity to another aircraft, but I would be delighted to have some light shed on my findings. My next questions to you make me feel uneasy for even asking, but after witnessing and comprehending what I saw, I need answers.. Do we have capabilities of appearing and dissapearing, or stalling in midair with quick maneuverability horizontally to immediate vertical forward movement? Do we have aircraft that can work in such close proximity, and in such a small area as to not collide when doing maneuvers that no other aircraft can do? Do we have aircraft that perhaps changes formation as in cross shape to more aerodynamically shaped? I would be grateful to hear from you, and hopefully have some of my questions answered. im a passenger riding with my boyfriend who drives a freightliner. On 11.17.19 we were driving through Utah and Idaho at night time. We were on our way to Washington state for a pick-up.

Im not sure which city or state it was either Utah or idaho but we both saw an object in space looking somewhat like a rocket with bright red florescent streams behind it. It was super bright and traveled at super fast speeds we saw it for about 2 seconds then it was gone. It didn't just disappear it was more like on a destination somewhere. But it was something i never saw and something strang.

On a drillship in the Gulf of Mexico. Location is De Soto Canyon, Blocks 4 & 47, Leases OCS-G 10437 & 10439, located 77 & 72 miles from the nearest Louisiana shoreline, respectively.

I witnessed two red lights spaced apart side by side. About 15 degrees up from my point of view. Looking north. Both light were fixed position. The lights then quickly disappeared.

A man standing next to me seen it also. He seen the same thing, but he seen a total of four dots. The bottom lights was space wider than the told that I seen. He advised after I noticed them that the bottom one disappeared just like the top did.

You can see a large glowing circle that "releases" 5 smaller glowing circles one by one. All of these smaller glowing circles seem to space themselves out evenly.

High altitude light that flashed on/off over the course of ~10 seconds.

First of three sightings that I'm reporting. Distinctly different from the second and third sightings in location, type, and duration.

This first sighting was flying an all-night flight from Hawaii back to Denver pre-Covid (probably the winter of 2018/19 – I didn’t document the flight/date at the time). I was a Denver-based B757/767 FO at the time and would fly Hawaii trips three to five times a month. During this flight, the Captain was resting about half way across the Pacific from the Islands. The dome lights were turned off, so only the cockpit instrument lights were lightly illuminating the interior of the cockpit (my preferred practice while night flying). I was leaning forward and looking out and up through my front window (star gazing). At position 11:00 high (really high - well above normal airliner or business jet traffic), I saw a bright flash of light that lasted about a second or so then dimmed, followed by another flash that then dimmed, followed by a third flash that then dimmed, those first three were in exactly the same spot relative to the background stars. Those three flashes were followed by a fourth flash at the same time interval, but it had travelled directly east from the first three about a degree or so, then a fifth flash directly east of that about a degree - travelling the same distance each time. Each of the five flashes lasted about a second or so, with a second or so in between when it dimmed. It wasn't the Starlink constellation, as I've seen them on a couple of different occasions, and it wasn't a satellite or the ISS (which I've seen at least a couple of dozen times). It wasn't aircraft traffic, as it didn't have the normal position lights and the first three flashes were in exactly the same location. Finally, it wasn't a meteor. Normal objects in orbit don't stay in the same relative position, then shift suddenly to a different position. I don't recall the exact flight number, date, or time of night, as at the time, I wasn't inclined to track such things. It certainly baffled me, and in retrospect, I really wish I had tracked the flight number and recorded the time/position on the orientation chart (plotting chart).

Falling object from space.

Driving northbound 75 from Tampa to Ocala, right around midnight, passing mile marker 296, directly to my west (left), I saw I bright green round light fall from the sky, it appeared from nowhere.

When it hit our atmosphere, there was a giant colorful explosion of a golden, red and green - shaped like and old time spinning top or giant, old-fashioned Christmas ball, with pointed ends and horizontal lines - through the fog - and fell apart into bigger pieces as it hit the Gulf.

Moved left, then right.. then finally up till the sun scued it. Next day (1/11/19) now there are 2 same spot.

The object could be seen with the naked eye. Even so we could get a few pictures of it. Looked almost like a angels wing.. but sharper. Later that night, another person saw the same thing but lights. Appearing to have a tail. Now on 1/11/19 we see the same object. In the same spot.. 1 hour later a second appears next to it. Then 10 minutes later the object that appeared next to it changed its aspect and went in a straight line. Traveling faster than a jet in the sky.

Cigar-shaped UFO passes closely by my plane over Gulf of Mexico.

On 5/11/16, on a flight from Atlanta to Cancun, we were at cruising altitude possibly over the gulf of mexico when a large, chrome-colored, cigar-shaped object passed us going in the opposite direction. The object seemed very close (maybe 100 yards) and pass us horizontally and at the same altitude. Oddly, the object seemed to pass by very slowly, more slowly than you might expect to pass another flying object going in the opposite direction. It was clear that the entire object was metallic (chrome-colored) as it reflected against the bright sunlight and was emitting huge plumes of white "smoke" similar to an old train steam engine. From my seat, the object was visible for about 5-10 seconds. I noticed that there was no vertical wing, no windows, no markings, or any other indication that it was a plane, but I assumed it was a plane given the plumes of smoke coming out of its rear so I didn't give it much thought about it at the time. Note too that ! there was no indication from any other passengers (except my fiance who was seated at the window and was the one that alerted me to the object)or crew members that they saw anthing unusual. Later that day and the days to come, I became more and more bothered about what I saw and decided to do a Google search a few days later on "metallic UFO cancun" which resulted in images and videos of "cigar-shaped" UFOs that look very similar to the object that I saw. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures of video of the incident, but will provide a rendering of what I saw.

Strange moving star; no pattern at all. Watched a full hour before I got tired but it did not go away. The next night I saw it again!

I have to tell you about something very strange that I saw TWICE on my Carnival Cruise. It happend half way going from Cozumel (Mexico) back to Tampa (Florida) right on the Gulf of Mexico. From my window on the boat Saturday night (August 15th around 11.30-12.30 pm and again the next night) I saw a strange moving star that seemed to move in a weird pattern- actually more: no pattern at all: up, down, right, up, left, up...- it was so weird- I thought I am getting crazy. I watched this for about one hour until I was too tired. I tried to film it but it was simply too far away to catch.

The only explanation I had was: it must have been a broken satellite. I did not want to wake my husband up to show this to him but when I told him the next morning, he told me to wake him up when I see this again happening. Guess what: next night I saw it again!!! I woke my husband up and showed it to him. I asked him: do you see it? He said yes. He could not find an explanation for it and does not seem to want to talk to me about it. I think he is afraid- lol. Since yesterday, I am trying to find out (google) what that was but I am unable to find anything. Please: if you know what that was, tell me! ;-)

Fireball seen over I-195 in NJ, coming down at incredible rate of speed.

My wife and i were driving west on I195 near exit 22 at approx 10:15 pm when what looked tobe a flaming object (torch like) appeared in the night sky crossing an estimated quarter mile in front of us.

It was travelling at an incredible rate of speed. (1000+mph?). It was far enough in front of us that i never considered reducing my driving speed, but vanished behind the trees along the highway in a matter of seconds. It was heading on a steep angle toward the ground

My wife and I both saw it. Impossible to miss given the brightness and proximity of the object. I expected to hear a crash and/or see a fireball explosion but no sound or visible sight of a crash occurred.

My husband and I were laying in the bed and I had gotten up to use the bathroom. And went back to bed, but not sleep.

Than that's when the light shine through the windowed door. And it stayed there for a few minutes and everything went off in the house, twice.

I am a Christian, so I believe in the supernatural, when everything went off.

I knew something strange was happening.

Something was outside our door, sitting in the sky shining through our window.

The object had NO sound that we could hear.

Strange shaped objects above New Mexico sky.

My girlfriend and I of almost 5 years decided to take a trip from Bothell, Washington, to Oklahoma city to see her niece graduate high school. We started our return trip home the day after her ceramony. We drove all day taking pictures along the way. We heard about a fire in the kingman arizona area from a couple at a rest stop in new mexico. After that we were watching the sky because it was actually glowing some from sun setting behind the smokey clouds. I hapened to look to north sky... and I seen strange objectes in the sky. It seemed to me there were strange smoke swirls that I have never seen before. I then held up my samsung s3 cell phone and took photos as we were driving. The objects seemed to be 2-5 miles away and strange cloud cover as well.

Bright flashing lights and possible abduction.

I was a little excited to be able to report my sighting i forgot to mention the best part. we continued to drive down 71 as i watched the light go from a flash to a constant and i watched some headlights come up underneath it.

I watched the light turn a really bright orange and then both the strange light and the headlights were gone.

I have been going over the map trying to find exactly where this was at. i believe this happend in either morrow or delaware county.

looking out the plane window & watched a group fly by

Flying from Orlando, Florida to Houston, Texas on United # 1029 on 8-21-2012.

The time was approx. 5:30pm CST Our plane was flying parallel to a long line of thunder storms stretching from Florida to Texas Approx 1 hr before landing in Hou (guess maybe over Louisianna) noticed a group of ufo’s traveling opposite direction.

Not close to airplane. Maybe several thousand feet away. Slightly below our plane. At first they don’t seem to be moving but then began moving extremely fast out of sight.

Gray oval discs with each having a bright orange lite on rear. Can’t guess the size—too far away.

Two friends next to me saw them too.

Disappeared before I could take picture.

Orange balls of light in strange formations appear then diappear several times over The Gulf of Mexico.

I'm currently working about 90 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico. While smoking a cigarette outside, I noticed a bright light to my left appear in the sky. It quickly went out, then about a minute later directly in front of me, 1 appeared, then another to the left of it, then 1 under the first one and then another appeared directly above the first one, revealing a total of 4 at one time. They went out. Then about 5 minutes later, 3 appeared spaced out horizontally then went out. A few minutes later to my left again, 2 appeared in a vertical pattern, then faded away 1 by 1.

My girlfriend and I saw a large cigar shaped object coming home from college around 12.

My girlfriend and I were driving down interstate 70 around 11:30-12:00 when we noticed a large cigar shapped light to our right coming down from the sky behind a line of trees. At first we asked ourselves, "what was that?" I was on the phone with my mother as we were coming home from college when my girlfriend yelled aloud multiple times, "what is that?! What is that?!" The object which appeared around 20ft in circumference which lied behind a line of trees to our right. The object appeared a extremely bright white light; almost the luminosity of an extremely bright star. It remained stationary, did not move whatsoever, and the back roads of Fulton County is pitch Black and has no sort of artifical lighting. As we passed the object and proceeded under an underpass I looked into my rearview mirror to get a second glance at the object to see absolutely nothing. My girlfriend and I were dumbstruck. Coming from someone who does not believe in the paranormal, I m! ight be changing my mind.

Cylinder -shaped object 75 miles offshore the Gulf of Mexico between Texas and Louisiana border

Two co-workers and I were working on an oil platform about 75 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico along the border of Texas and Louisiana.

One of us first spotted the object flying in the sky. He pointed at it and asked, '' what is that?''.

We all looked up and witnessed a greyish white (about the same color as a cloud) cylinder shaped object flying south. The object had no lights, no wings, no rotors (like a helicopter) and left no vapor trail.

It was difficult to gauge the object's altitude or size at the time, but it was flying above cloud level , and seemed at least 5 to 10 times bigger than any of the jet planes that happen to have been flying around since the incident occurred. (The appearance of these jets seem odd to us also , due to the fact we are located offshore in the gulf of mexico where there isn't much commercial or military air traffic- only helicopters traveling to oil rigs).

This is actually the second sighting of this kind of object. A co-worker and I first spotted the cylinder shaped object sometime in early June. At that time, it was moving across the sky above us at a much higher rate of speed.

On Monday, April 4, 2011 at about 6:00 pm, I saw a round, red glowing light in a body of water while flying to D.C. from Atlanta GA. Flight was about 15 minutes from landing in D.C. I could clearly see houses from above and their pools quite closely.

My aircraft must have been over Virginia and the body of water must have been the Potomac. I looked out of the window and saw the red light in the water, not that far from the land, but in deep water-after staring at it for about 5 seconds it disappeared. I was not a boat or a light house, just a large glowing red light.

4 dark orbs emitting contrail somewhere over southern california

Unfortunately, I do not know the exact location of the sighting since we were on an airplane from Cabo San Lucas to LAX. It was about 30 minutes to our arrival at LAX.

I was looking at an unusual cloud formation that looked like a a contrail of some sort, that was nearly parallel in height to the jet plane we were in. The white contrail at first just seemed to stop, which is why I thought it was just a cloud formation. My daughter was in the window seat, so I asked her to look out the window and tell me if she saw anything unusual. We both stared out the window and she said she saw 4 dark circles that seemed to be in a boomerang formation. While she is saying this, I realized that the contrail didn't just end, it WAS behind 4 dark circles.

Whatever it was, it was flying slower than the plane, so we had had to strain to continue to see it. Neither of us thought to get a camera and take a picture of it. It did not appear to be that far away and the circles seemed to be about the size of a thumbnail at arms length. They were large enough, that if it had been a plane, we should have been able to see some detail, like wings and a fuselage, but they were just dark circles. It was strange.

Maybe there is a completely mundane explanation for what we saw, but it wasn't like anything I recognized. I was hoping that someone else might have reported seeing something, because it did appear we were over a populated area. You could see roads, houses, reservoirs, etc...

Hugh lighted area at the horizon moving slowly, then stopped and disappeared at 5:30 A.M.

On February 24, 2009 at 5:30 AM I got up to let my 2 dogs outside, at which time it was still very dark outside. Our house faces North an at a distance on the horizon, over the tree line I could see a very, very large lighted area. I kept watching it wondering what it could possibly be. It was way too large for an airplane or star. I went to 3 different windows and could plainly see the light. It looked as if the light was lighting an area as big as a footbal field or bigger. As I watched, this thing moved slowly from left to right or from West to East and then stopped. I walked into the kitchen and came back and it was gone. It would take a very large craft to light an area as large as I am talking about.

We were flying to Ontario, California from Atlanta, Georgia and were about 1 1/2 hours away from landing. My guess is we were over New Mexico and I believe we were flying at 34,000 feet. I was sitting in a window seat on the right side of the airplane in the very last row. The movie had just ended and I raised my window shutter to look out.

I was amazed to see a shiny aluminum-appearing cylinder, approx. 60 feet long and 10-15 feet wide, pass under the plane from left to right at a 45% angle to the airplane. It appeared to fly under the plane at approximately two to three hundred feet.

The skin of the object had a shiny brushed aluminum appearance, almost like a new un-painted airplane except it had no wings or port holes of any kind. It also had a rounded nose and back and the back of the craft was black in color.

After passing under the plane, it made a sudden jog (no curving or sweeping motion) to the left and shot off in a Northerly direction away from the plane. I was so stunned that I kept thinking over and over "they are real!"

I work offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. I was riding a crew boat back to the Galveston Beach docks on January 13, 2008. It was a perfectly sunny day and no clouds where in the sky. The boat was traveling north, northeast 20-30 miles off the coastline. I first saw the object in the eastern skyline while lying down in the sun. At first I thought it was a bird that was flying high up. But, there were no other birds around and it wasn’t moving. I turned to my friend next to me and said, “Look at how high that bird is man!” His first words were that it wasn’t a bird and he couldn’t tell what it was as well. The object was stationary for a good five minutes, so it being a plane was not possible. I kept looking at it trying to discern what it was. All of sudden while I was looking straight at it, the object vanished and never reappeared. The object was white and curved at the top and flat on the bottom. Almost like a saucer but, it had a slit going through the side of it halfway.

Oct. 2007 I was on a cruise in middle of the Gulf of Mexico and took this picture.

I did not actually see the image with my own eyes. After my vacation I downloaded my pictures and saw this image in one of them. It is a very strange illuminated oval in the top of my picture with some detail. At first I thought it was just a reflection or something, but the more I look at my picture since then I realize it's not a reflection at all. I do wish I had seen this with my own eyes it would have been spectacular to see.

In flight sighting

On January 17th 2008 I was on a United flight which departed Armstrong airport in New Orleans LA at 5:15 PM, heading to LAX Los Angeles, CA.

I was sitting aft to the left wing in a window "A" seat which faced due South as we where heading West.

The sky was bright orange and I was enjoying the color variations of the sunset on the clouds when I noticed about 20 minutes into the flight what I thought was a falling star. There was a massive high atmospheric trail, which was well illuminated from the setting sun.

What I thought to be a trail began to rotate in a counter clockwise direction and at that point I began to question what it was. The object rotated until it was horizontal and I was then able to make out its shape despite the massive distance from the plane estimated > 40 miles.

It appeared to be cigar shaped and massive in size with no lights. Its color was an opaque White /Grey and it was difficult to distinguish it from the haze and clouds. Shortly after making out its shape I was unable to maintain visual contact.

there were twelve spectrum organized spherical shapes that distorted my perception of distance

there were twleve glowing spheres, they were orginized into the visible light color spectrum. they were either very small and close, or very far away. my perception of distant was very distorted. i ran to my car to get mt camera, but it seemed like i couldnt get to my car, the car was not far away, but it seemed very far away. when i looked back at the spheres i saw that none of them had color anymore, i rubbed my eyes to see if it was me, and the spheres began to fade away, in about ten seconds they were gone.

one large round gleaming white object goes dark then drops into three smaller gleaming white objects

whlle drving along on Interstate 10 between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, a girlfriend and I were looking up at the nightime sky and we noticed a large round orb shinging brightly in the sky to our left, then it moved into the center of our vision and shortly after moving centerwise this one large orb went dark then it dropped into three smaller orbs and three orbs were also shining brightly, then a second later it became one large orb again and it began to move away in a westward direction.

it was a round orb shining brightly with a gleaming white light, then it went dark and dropped down into three orbs that looked like three balls on a string, which all three balls were shinning brightly, then it became one large ball again as it moved away in a westward direction, the color changed to a glowing hot pink or orange from this gleaming shining white light.

after it moved away, we noticed a military helicopter which could have been sent out from Lafayette, La. as that was the nearest town, and this helicopter was flying low and we laughted saying that the helicopeter must have been called out to chase a reported strange object in the sky.

Disk shaped object seen in background of Mythbusters episode.

This was seen on television during an episode of mythbusters, on the discovery channel. The episode name is "steel toe amputation", which was first aired July 29, 2005.

During the segement "bottle blast off" a disk shaped metallic object is present in the sky for about 35 frames. This is seen as the bottles are being primed for the first launch, the camera pans up and this object is seen in the top right corner of the screen. The people in the show seem to be completely unaware of the object. I noticed it while pausing the video.

A pale orange vertical cylinder object seen on an America West flight.

I was flying back from North Carolina to Arizona on July 21st 2005. The flight took off around 5pm EST from Raleigh Durham on America West. I think the flight number was 844. About 3 hours into the trip (I assume maybe somewhere around Texas area but I really dont know for sure) I saw an object out the window. The sun was still up and there were scattered clouds. My plane was flying arounnd 33,000 feet. This object was above a section of clouds (not in the clouds but a cloud bank formed a backgroud). So the object was definately not on the ground and if I had to guess I would say it was maybe 1/3rd the distance to the ground from us so it was flying at about 20,000 feet.

The object appeared as a cylinder shape, its surface was slighlty reflective it sort of appeared metallic but it was at an extreme range to me so I dont know for sure. The objects color was sort of a light/pale orange color or possibly light biege. The color was uniform across the object. I saw it for around 10-20 secs. The object appeared to be static. It did not move and seemed to be fixed in the sky appearing to move at exactly the same speed as all of the surrounding clouds. The other thing that was very odd was that unlike a plane that would fly in a horizontal positon the cylinder was vertical. If it was a plane it should have been moving downward at a rapid speed, if it was climbing Im not sure it could have kept that up for 10-20 secs and in either case it didnt appear to be moving at all. The distance was too great for me to descern any details like wings, designs, etc. It just looked like a very small cylinder or possibly a cigar shaped object. There were no visable ballons or anything like that above it.

Most everyone else was watching a movie on the plane with the windows closed so I doubt anyone else saw it. The pilots probably saw it. I was sitting on the left side of the plane (if one is sitting down facing foward towards the front of the plane I was on the left side).

I am a systems engineer for a major semi-conductor company and I was flying on a business trip that day. I am also an amatuer astronmer and I have spent a lot of time looking at the sky. I dont know what this thing was but I am pretty confident it was not a standard plane. It could have been something the government was doing or it could be something else.

Bright flash lightens up night sky, object fires across sky at unbelievable speed...

On Sunday night, October 24, 2004, at 23:27 I was driving through Ashland County in Ohio around mile marker 197. I was in a van on I-71 heading towards Columbus. All of a sudden the entire sky turns bright. So bright in fact, that it looked like the middle of the day. This “flash” of brightness lasted about 2 seconds before the sky faded to dark black again. Although the moment was brief, I can recall certain aspects of the event. First off, I was staring into the horizon and/or just above it since I was driving (about 85 mph). I immediately thought to myself that a serious lighting bolt just dashed across the sky. But I also thought that never before had I seen one light up the sky like that. As I was thinking that, it immediately occurred to me that there were no clouds in the sky at the time and that I had not seen other lighting activity. As I was thinking this I was leaning towards the driver’s side window to look outside and up. As I did, I noticed a black/dark, long tubular object (I couldn’t guess its size/length) “take off” from with the middle of the sky. The term “take off” is used lightly here. There was no slow and steady acceleration. Instead, it looked like it went from 0-300 in 1.0 seconds. The only thing I could see was that it went in a West/Southwest direction. And the only reason I could see what direction it went in was because the sky was still slightly lit up, but fading fast. In it’s wake, this object left what could be quite normally explained as a jet stream (??), or the white, long cloud-like formation we see planes leave in the sky. But this stream was different in the fact that the outer streams were a bright fiery red/orange. The middle of the stream was white. These bright red/orange streams hung in the sky for about 5 seconds before they turned to white streams and simply faded away like thin clouds. I should explain that the reason I didn’t follow the object was because my brain knew it was too far gone. If you would have seen how quickly it jettisoned across the sky, your brain would also have “known” that it was visually untraceable. Therefore, I focused on the “stream” above me.

I called the FAA around 01:45 on Monday, October 25, 2004 to inquire about others who may have reported something similar. The person I spoke to mentioned that he saw “numerous” reports on his way to his desk that had been filed tonight regarding this event. He mentioned that they will be following up with the National Weather Service to see what other explanations may be available. He was quite interested when I told him about the fiery stream and the object appearing out of nowhere. He also said that it could be a meteor, but that meteors do not usually behave in this fashion.

I can understand lighting, and skies lighting up, and even meteors (although I’ve never seen one that close). But what I can’t understand, and this is the reason I’m reporting this, is that the object I saw “took off” from within the middle of the sky. First off, how did it get there? Second, why did it take off immediately after the bright flash? And lastly, but more importantly, how the heck does an object move across the sky at that great a speed?

Three red light craft approached our boat on a collision eye level course at a very high rate of speed, veared and dissapeared

We were traveling north on the gulf outlet about 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico on a full moon night. As we approached a crew boat heading South, we noticed that they were sweeping the area in front of them with a high intensity light apparentally looking for or at something. With a full moon to our south , we did not need extra light to navigate. We also had our radar on and in the .5 mile mode so that we could navigate around bouys and avoid the rock jetty on each side of the Outlet.My son was navigating and I was piloting, when we observed three red lights (lazer in appearance) approch us from the north at a very high rate of speed.The lights were on the surface of an elongate gray object that was not decernable. It appeared to be on a collision course with us, but than passed within 150 feet from us at eye level. It was between us and the rock jetty 300 ft to the west of us. There was no sound and no wake. When it was south of us we lost visiual contact. It happened so fast that we did not have a chance to look at the rador for that object, however the crew boat was constantally on the screen.

FOUR FLICKERING LIGHTS

While star gazing aboard the Carnival Conquest, i noticed an object about 2 mile to the north in the sky with 4 lights on it. About every 2 minutes one of the lights would go off until there were no lights on the object. This object was not moving, it was just sitting there. flicking the light off and on for about an hour. I asked the other people who have cruised this route before had they seen these lights and overwelmingly most people stated that this craft has been seen every tuesday wedsnesday and thursday in the gulf.

USO seen my military coming up out of the water.

I was just watching a show on USO and it remained me of something I know but have never told anyone.

I am not sure if I should, some how it seen like the right thing to do.

I am giving you an e-mail that is not my real name, but please feel free to ask anything you wish.

I was called back to active duty for Iraq. I was working in DC in a vary secure room. I had 2 computers. One to use like you and everyone else and each of us had a secret computer.

One day someone said to go to a page on the secret computer and see what was going on. I did and it was a report of an event that was going on right then. I am not sure but I think the aircraft was a C-141 or some kind of military cargo plane. It was off the cost of Florida and reported that they had seen a craft come up out of the water and fly off.

In a few minutes they were tracking it and it was flying at (I think they said 60,000 ft). and was traveling at a speed of around 4,000 MPH. It was heading northwest.

We scrambled F-16’s. At the speed it was flying they scrambled planes from Chicago to be in front of it.

Somewhere need the South Bend, IN area it just went off the radar.

That was the end of that and I didn’t think anything more about it that day.

But the next day we had some people come into out area and cleaned the information about what had happened of all the computers that had been used in our area.

Where I work we had access to everything that was going on in the war and gave briefings to the Whit House and no one had ever cleaned any information off our computers before or after that. We had access to almost anything we wanted.

Well there it is for what it is worth.

I have signed a not disclosure form and it is good for 75 years so I really don’t want anyone to know who I really am.

Plus I am sure you get real good thing, not little things like this.

Carnival Conquest 10/04/03 Mississippi river mouth (inbound) (port-side) 2 bluish-green glowing orb's heading up-river

My wife and I were heading inbound on the Mississippi River, aboard Carnival's Conquest on Saturday night about 11:00pm. We were in cabin #((deleted)), standing out on the deck when 2 bluish-green glowing orb's appeared from aft and were passing the ship slowly heading up-river also.

They looked to be about 50 yards out one just a little larger than the other, they had a slight varing density glow and slight varing speeds and and course changes.

I first asked my wife if she was seeing the same thing followed by a quick comparitive discription, see asked me to grab the camera sitting inside just behind us but decided I wasn't missing a second of this. I'm still happy with that decision, it was not of this earth and feel very lucky to have witnessed it.

We were docking that night to end the cruise and never asked if anyone else was witness.

Odd craft seen in the sky in Wyoming

A friend and I were returning from Steamboat, CO and our path took us through Wyoming as a shortcut. While traveling through the Snowy Range area, we witnessed an object in the sky that was unlike anything that I have ever seen. It looked like an inverted teardrop or ice cream cone shape. The sky was clear with no clouds on the background. The color of the object was crystalline with definite structure lines that seemed to be silver. It was close enough to tell that it was not a weather balloon or something like that. It was clearly rigid with a defined structure and did not waver back and forth like a balloon would. The object seemed to float steadily and then descended to the ground after several seconds but did not descend all the way to the surface. Rather, it seemed to lower itself below the tree line so that we could not view it anymore.

My friend and I were utterly mystified at to what this object was yet we did not feel threatened at any time. I am under the impression that this could be some sort of military application but the shape seemed so inconsistent with anything that humans build.

Bright light in Gulf of Mexico sky

At approximately 23:50, a co-worker and I were standing outside the bridge on an offshore drilling platform located 125 miles off the coast of Louisiana. The night was cloudless and calm.

Suddenly, the sky lit up. An object crossed the sky, traveling in a westward direction. Its speed was unknown, but it traversed the open sky in five seconds or less. The best estimate placed its elevation at 2–3 miles. The object was yellow and green in color, with an oblong or round shape.

It made a low rumbling sound and left a vapor trail that lingered for several minutes. My co-worker remembers seeing debris in the form of sparks and fire falling from the object as it passed overhead. The object illuminated the entire sky as it moved across.

On a highway driving home to Colorado from vacationing in Georgia, my partner and I again spotted a silver orb in the distance in the early evening. This time the object seemed to have disappeared and in a blink of an eye was about 500 feet above and in front of our vehicle. It seemed like a flash frame, it was far away then right above, as if it were trying to see us. Just like that it was far away again, then disappeared for good. It felt as though it had tracked us from Georgia and wanted us to see it. It seemed to have green lights when it came close, but like I said it happened so fast that it was only a split second, and the human eye cannot seem to catch a good look in such a small time. Truly amazing! The only camera I had was disposable and the photo I tried to take didn't even collect any traces of an image, it was so far away.

an airplane figure was seen, after stopping the head lights started to flicker

OK, not sure exactly if this was a ufo sighting because I am skeptical but, me and my g/f where driving through kansas, a little lost because we had just left oklahoma and drove until we got to Independence. Sometime after that around Winfeild she pounted out what she beleived to be a ufo, which I still beleive was a plain with two blinking lights on what would have been the wings and one in the middle. She said she had seen it for some time and it hadn't moved (give or take an hour or 2 that we where trying to find our way down those back roads) I couldn't see it so I stopped and got out and had her point it out, it still looked like a plain and was headed pretty fast opposite the direction we where driving. We get back in and head down the road and converse back and forth about it until are lights start flickering and going off, they did that for about 10 mins off and on until I turned the brights off and spead the car up, later down the road it happened again, and again an hour later. It hasn't happened since. The car is a '91 mercury cougar if it helps any and there was a digital clock but it was unaffected. Nothing else was effected by the lights and we where about 15 miles from a town both ways when it first happened. The radio was going, the heater was going, the car didn't act up nothing except those lights which is scary when your stuck in the middle of no where with no light and not sure how far from home you are, eithere way I'd appreciate any knowledge anyone can share on this

THIS WAS A MASSIVE MOTHERSHIP AND I HOPE PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT WE SAW BECAUSE THESE CRAFT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE HERE ON EARTH

My wife, myself, and our two kids were heading out of Ohio towards Pennsylvania.
as we drove through Pa., it was raining, but had recently stopped. It was 1:35A.M.. I was driving, and the wife was in the passenger seat. The kids were in the back, about 2 hours into Pa. It was very dark, and we were the only ones on the road, except an occasional trucker.

As we came around a bend in the highway, it was a very long stretch of straight road. As we rounded the bend, up ahead about 1/4 of a mile, was a massive craft hovering over the road. I mean huge. It was in my best estimate approx. a 1/4 mile wide. It had lights everywhere going around it. It had 2 levels, one above the other. Oddly, it had square windows and you could see inside the craft. I ccounted about 30 windows above and the same on the lower deck. The lights inside were seen from every window. It was a very soft pink light. I have never seen that color in my life. It was a beautiful thing to see. In my mind, it wanted us to see it.

My wife and I leaned forward as I yelled for the kids. The 4 of us just sat there in awe. It was huge. Bigger than the craft on Close Encounters. The lights outside were erratic but so beautiful.It was there I would say 30 seconds and it was gone. I asked my wife to verify what just happened and sure enough. The strange thing is that we live in Ct. and I have no memory of it being discussed all the way home. It was as if we were in a trance. I talk about it occasionally but I get laughed at. The 4 of us saw this. I can't say this enough, this craft would dwarf a football stadium easily. We saw into the craft but saw nobody walking about. It was so beautiful. WOW!!

For about 3 minutes I witnessed a very bright light following our TWA flight #139 on Apr 17th 2001 at 8:15 PM

I was on TWA flight #139 which departed from Orlando FL at 7:45 PM to St Louis MO. We were traveling in a northwestern direction near the south Georgia border around 8:15 PM, when I looked out the window at the clear blue sky and at about 2 o'clock, about 2000 feet above us, suddenly appeared a very bright light. It seemed to be stationary and several thousand feet away, I watched it for about about 3 minutes. It did not move in relationship with our aircraft. I had unbuckled my seat belt to get a better look when the stewardess told me to refasten my belt. In that brief moment that I looked at the stewardess and then looked back out the window, the UFO had disappeared. At 8:22 it reappeared about 50 to 100 miles away! It was much smaller now, very close to the horizion and I could see that it was moving very fast, it was not leaving a vapor trail but it was still glowing very bright. We were coming up on a thunderhead and our flight went to the left of it. The UFO went to the right of the thunderhead at 8:25 PM. When we got around it the UFO was gone and I never saw it again. At 8:30 PM another airliner passed about 2000 feet below us, this winged aircraft was plainly visible and not the same type of craft I had just witnessed.

Unidentified triangular craft hovering in a cloud at 31,000 feet from a Delta 757 moving at mach .84.

For the past four months from May until Sep (now) I have been making a weekly commute from Washington D.C.s Ronald Reagan National Airport to Atlanta Hartfield Airport. I go on Monday to Atlanta and return generally on Friday evening from Atlanta to D.C. On July 21st at or near 18:15PM EST I was riding in first class on Delta flight 1402 (757 service) in seat 3C (window) on the right side of the aircraft. It was very cloudy most of the way and the aircraft was flying around a large thunderhead. The aircraft was flying at 31,000 feet at around mach .84 (520Mph or so).. the pilot announced this. I was looking out the window watching the massive thunderheads roll by. I noticed a grey metallic triangular shape hovering inside a thunderhead that had a lot of lightening activity. The pilot was giving this cloud formation a relatively wide birth and the cloud formation was about 500 meters to the right of the aircraft. It was quite bumpy and the captain issued a seatbelt warning for turbulence in the area. I kept watching the unidentified aircraft .. trying to determine if it was a ballon cage, a weather balloon, or some other known aircraft. I could not recognize what it was .. nor am I familiar with an aircraft that can hover at 31,000 feet inside a very active thunderhead without grave risk. I stood up to see if anyone else was noticing what I saw and nobody was looking out the window. Note that there were no blinking lights on the aircraft though it was quite visible if you were looking below the airplane and to the right just inside the thunderhead. I never said anything to anyone .. though I do know the co-pilot quite well. I fly on her route very often so we always say hello. I have been thinking about asking her about this event when I next run into her. Otherwise .. I have kept my mouth shut because most people just think you are wacky when you say you've seen something unidentifiable in the sky. As an Engineer I live in the world of the rational. Technologically we have a long way to go and there is a great deal of innovation and secret activity at both commercial and governmental facilities. I would never.. ever just assume this was an extra terrestrial space craft (it was too small for one thing) .. my view was that it was about the size of a 737 aircraft or smaller. Anyway .. thats my UFO sighting. Nothing glamerous .. but definately something outside my experience. I do have a very strong interest in both commercial and military aircraft (historical and in development) and this wasn't something I was familiar with. Thanks ((name deleted))

My wife and I were on the last night of a Western Caribbean cruise aboard the msRyndam. I had put our luggage out in the hall of the ship to be collected as we would be ending our trip the next morning. We departed Key West at 5:00pm and were sailing south going around the end of Florida heading for Fort Lauderdale. I was out on the deck listening to the waves and gazing at the stars when I thought I saw a metorite. Yet, it I thought it was strange that the light appeared on the horizon looking west at the Gulf of Mexico and moved upward into the sky in a 45 degree arc. I payed closer attention thinking it might be a satellite or who knows maybe the space shuttle was up in a mission ( I didn't really know...but I have seen the shuttle coming in before in the evening sky in my home state of Texas)...anyway this is where is gets strange...as the pinpoint of white light arched across the sky it got larger...it was spherical in shape (about the size of a fingernail at arms length) and I noticed a color shift to orange. It seemed to emit a hazy glow maybe from heat...then, as it continued to arch across the sky I noticed that it was not flying a straight course but was oscillating rapidly up and down as it continued moving forward...seemed unstable...then it dropped down approx 500 to 1000 feet, hovered for an instant and then did a reverse arch back and above its original course and finally proceeded to the SouthEast at 5 times the speed it was moving before...It just dissapeared. Never seen anything like this...don't know what to make of it.

This sighting weirded me out...and I'm not really in to this kind of thing...hope the information helps...maybe somebody else near Florida saw it that night

BRIGHT GREEN OBJECT THAT WAS DESENDING IN THE SKY AS IT GLOWED A BRIGHT GREEN COLOR THEN FADED OUT.

I WAS TRAVELING ON STATE HIGHWAY 121 IN FLORIDA. THE STRETCH OF ROAD THAT I WAS ON WAS AFTER I GOT OFF I-75 IN GAINSVILLE AND HEADED NORTH ON 121, BUT BEFORE I CROSSED THE STATE LINE. AS I WAS TRAVLING I NOTICED AN OBJECT IN THE SKY THAT WAS GLOWING (IT REALLY LOOKED LIKE IT WAS BURNING GREEN), IT DESENDED FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AND WAS GLOWING SO BRIGHTLY THAT IT LIT UP THE INSIDE OF MY CAR FOR ABOUT 10-15 SECS. AND THEN IT DISAPPEARED. I REALLY DON'T THINK THIS WAS A UFO, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE WITNESSED SOMETHING AS SO. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THIS WAS.

Radar Tracking of unknown object.

On 28 June 1999, I was Pilot in Command of a 3 man flight crew flying a radar patrol in the Gulf of Mexico. The weather was hazy with only a few clouds at several altitudes. We were at 22,000 feet when our radar facility called and informed us that they had a primary target south bound at 350 knots approximaely 150 miles west of Tampa Bay. We were vectored to the target as we decended out of altitude. The radar center informed us that they had checked with all the military bases along the coast in Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana and noone could identify the unknown target. My aircraft is equiped with an F-16 fighter radar and FLIR (Forward Looking Infared) sensors. Shortly after being given vectors we locked up a south bound target at 390 knots, 300 feet off the water. We were established on a head on intercept with the target at 55 miles. As we closed and off set the target, it made a 90 degree left turn east bound and exited our scope in a matter of seconds. I turned right to reaquire the target and again locked it up at 25 miles heading east at now 670 knots. I initally thouhgt it was a radar glitch but every turn, speed change, and heading change was verified by 3 different radars. My aircraft radar, and 2 other radar systems. The target slowed and we closed to within 15 miles of it, it then stopped, reversed course 180 degrees and then made an imediate 90 degree right turn north bound again and accelerated to 1100 knots. It stopped made a 120 degree heading change and accelerated again to close to 900 knots coming at us. I tried to manuver our aircraft to keep it on radar as much as possible and to get a flir image on tape but due to a haze layer it was impossible. The radar image taping system was non operational on this aircraft at the time of the incident. This chasing around the gulf went on for 25 minutes or so and the last call I got from radar was that the target was heading east bound accelerating. I turned and locked up the target east bound accelerating through 1100 knots and climbing! at a ve ry high rate of speed till it just blew off the aircraft scope. That was the last time I saw it on radar. We never got close enough to get a visual on the object. There was never a mode squak from the target and the manuvers were something like I had never seen. I have been flying since 1976 and have extensive military and civilian experience. I waited this long becasue of the reasons we were out in the gulf and why we were where we were.

Mercury colored Cigar shaped USO surfaced near Oil Plarform in Gulf of Mexico

Object surfaced near Production Platform, it was bright silver in color, cigar shaped, maybe 14 feet wide and 60 feet long. There were no windows, fins, or any other notice of hinges or bolts on the craft, very smooth surface.

There was not any construction going on in the area. It floated for approx. 5 mins and slowly sank out of sight.

Five patterned bright lights seen over highway and car engine was affected.

I was driving from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan back to my home in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I do not know what town I was in. I was on a divided highway with 3 lanes on each side and there weren’t many cars on the road.

I saw large, bright, cream color lights that spanned the entire width of both sides of the highway. They seemed like they were about 30-50 yards in front of me and maybe 30-40 feet above the ground. There were 5 lights that lit up in a pattern going left to right. The first 3 lights were in a straight line and then the fourth light was higher and the fifth was back in line with the first three. So it gave a triangular pattern with the fourth light.

I was traveling approximately 65 mph and I never got closer to the lights or drove under them. I watched them blink in this pattern for probably 3 minutes and then suddenly when the fifth light went out, I could see it shoot straight up in the sky as the light dissipated.

At that very moment, my car engine seemed to stop for 1-2 seconds and the check engine light came on. I was so scared and instantly wondered if anyone else had seen this. I noticed maybe 3-4 cars on the highway traveling in the opposite direction.

I pulled off at the next exit that had a gas station. I turned my car off and started it back up. The check engine light was off and everything seemed back to normal.

Egg Shaped UFO seen from air plane over Florida

I was coming home from my summer vaction in Florida and looking out the plane window at around 3pm when I saw this red egg looking object.

It was making odd and fast moves around the plane. It must have been over 3 miles or so away. I tryed to tell others to look out and no one wanted to. I watched it make maunevers that no plane could do.

After 9 minutes or so of looking for it I got my camra and just as i was about to take a shot of it, it shot into the air and I never saw it again.

TRIANGLE, ONE LIGHT ON EACH CORNER, VERY LITTLE NOISE, AND TWO SEPERATE WHITE LIGHT SPHERES.

IM SORRY THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU MUCH DETAIL AS IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE THE EVENT OCCURRED. I WAS 17 YEARS OLD AND CAMPING WITH MY SISTER AND SOME FRIENDS AT A LAKE IN SOUTHERN WASHINGTON CALLED CRATER LAKE. AT APPROX. 2130 HRS., WE WERE SITTING AROUND A CAMP FIRE WHEN WE NOTICED A BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT COMING OFF OF THE MOUNTAIN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE. THE LIGHT LIFTED OFF OF THE MOUNTAIN AND FLEW ACCROSS THE LAKE IN A STREIGHT PATTERN. A FEW MINUTES LATER ANOTHER LIGHT DID THE SAME THING EXCEPT THIS TIME I FLASHED A FLASH LIGHT AT IT. WE THOUGHT THAT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A HELICOPTER LIGHT OR AN AIRPLANE OF SOME SORT BUT THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT MAKE ANY NOISE THAT WE COULD TELL.

LATER THAT NIGHT, AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TIME IT WAS, I WAS SLEEPING IN AN OPEN SCREENED ROOF DOME TENT WHEN I WOKE UP. IM NOT SURE WHY I WOKE UP, BUT AS I LOOKED UP, A TRIANGLER SHAPED AIRCRAFT HOVERED ABOVE OUR CAMP. IT WAS VERY LARGE AND APPARED TO BE ONLY A FEW HUNDRED FEET UP. THE AIRCRAFT MADE A SLIGHT HISSING AND ROARING NOISE BUT IT WAS VERY FAINT. I COULD NOT MOVE OUT OF FEAR BUT I DID NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A BRIGHT ROUND LIGHT ON EACH CORNER OF THE AIRCRAFT. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE AIRCRAFT HAD A ROUNDED OFF EDGE, KIND OF LIKE A TIRE TUBE. I COULD SEE A CROSS BEAM TYPE STRUCTURE AROUND THE AIRCRAFT.

I JUMPED UP OUT OF BED AND RAN OUT OF MY TENT YELLING FOR MY SISTER. AS I STARTED YELLING, THE AIRCRAFT SLOWLY FLEW OUT OF SIGHT OVER THE MOUNTAINS BEHIND US. THE NEXT MORNING MY SISTER WAS TELLING ME THAT SHE THOUGHT I WAS TRYING TO PLAY A JOKE ON HER THE NIGHT BEFORE. SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE WAS WOKEN UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT BY SOME COLORFULL LIGHTS SHINNING IN HER TENT. SHE THOUGHT IN HER SLEEP THAT IT WAS A COP CAR OUTSIDE AND FELT FRUSTRATED. SHE TOLD ME IN THE MORNING THAT SHE REALIZED THAT IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A COP CAR BECAUSE WE WERE ON AN ISLAND WITH NO BRIDGE ACCESS.

A LITTLE BIT OF MY BACKGROUND: I HAVE BEEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR APPROX. 2 YEARS. I HAVE SERVED IN THE US MILITARY AND IM NOT SAYING THAT THIS THING WAS FROM ANOTHER PLANET, BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYHTING LIKE IT BEFORE OR SINCE.

4 females camped out on pensacola beach. played in water all the next day and left beach right at sunset. got on interstate 10 going west, we thought. at dark all of us noticed star sized objects moving erratically in sky. later a blue green glowing ball, not a "fireball", it seemed like a metallic glowing sphere, maybe a bit smaller than a basketball, sped across the interstate right in front of our windsheild. it was moving extremely fast, from left to right. 3 of us saw that. we then remember seeing what we thought was a brightly lit airport runway ending next to the interstate. we thought, well, its an airport. this did not seem odd to us until later. we then realized we were going the wrong way on the interstate, east instead of west, which seemed very odd because going east out of pensacola you have to cross a very long bridge. we are familiar with the area and it seems we would have noticed immediately that we were going the wrong way. it took a long time to get home to nashville. even considering that we had to take an alternate route it shouldn't have taken 15 hours to get from pensacola to nashville. also, i later remembered that when we saw the blue green ball i was in the back seat. when we noticed we were going the wrong way, i was in the front seat. i don't remember stopping. i moved to pensacola about a year later and was there for the big boom. also, sitting on the beach one day, in broad and bright daylight, 2 of us saw what looked like a gigantic roman candle zoom across the water in front of us and dissappear.

Anyway to the south from the highway a large white light that lit up the entire hillside to the south traveled east with my vehicle. It looked like day time on the ground in the area of the light. I though it was a chopper but the light was to bright and made no noise. I panicked and started traveling at a high rate of speed and the light just stayed to the south of the highway. It was there for about an hour and then stopped moving as I travel further east. there were no cities or towns where I was, No exits from the highway. I was scared to death. It was not normal what ever it was.

12 years ago on a camping trip at about 5:30 in the afternoon i witnessed the most incredable site of my life.

i witness an object sitting 30 feet in the air on top of a row of tree. at first i thought it as a water tower but after about 30 seconds i relized what i was see, this object had no base and was well a ufo. i grab two of my friend who were in the car with me to witness what i was seeing, we knew what the object was but couldnt believe it. after agree that it was a ufo we jump out of the car to tell the parents but by the time we got out of the car the object was gone without a trace, no sound no lights nothing. like i said this was in the after noon in daylight, we where some where up north michigan. i should also say that i was no farther than 50 yards from this object, maybe closer, i'v never heard of any one seeing a ufo that close and in the daylight and with more than one person to verify the insident. also none of your characterisitic apply to this experence. no lights no haze no color change, no beams of light, no sound, just and circle shaped craft hovoring for at the least 1 minute and than disapering in a blink of an eye

My friend and I were traveling through the Angelina Forest in East Texas on a two lane highway. There were 80 foot trees on both sides of the road as far ahead as could be seen. It was at night when all of a sudden this huge object passed ahead maybe 100 yards ahead. Maybe 200 yards. It flew at tree top level and was as big as a 747 jet. No noise and it was traveling very slow. It had maybe 60 or 70 lights in different places. No certain order or anything. I have never ever seen so many lights on a plane in my entire life. I thought it was probably a military aircraft, but it had so many lights on it. I stopped the truck and we both just said WOW! What was that? We will never forget it. I know I will never forget it. I work for the City of Dallas ((deleted)) department. ((deleted)) years now. My friend is into real estate. He went to college in nacadoches, texas. I graduated from ((schools deleted)) Texas. I would say the height of it was maybe 60 foot high. We were headed to Sam Rayburn Lake in East Texas to go bass fishing with my friends Dad. His Dad had a house and boat there. We were maybe 50 miles from the Lake. The speed of this thing seemed like 30 miles an hour, but in the air it's hard to figure. That's about it. Just driving down an east texas two lane highway in the middle of the Angelina Forest and seeing a dark object the size of a jet or transport with so many lights it was beautiful. The lights were red, green, blue, white, maybe yellow, I can't remember. I wish I would have had a video going. It's been a few years since this happened but I felt compelled to send this to you. I was hitch hicking. It was late and I walked off the main highway on a paved road that ran perpendicular. I had walked about half a mile. It was pitch black that night only dim starlight but suddenly it got darker and that caused me to look up. Above me was a huge triangle. It was much longer along the back side than it was to the tip. It's size to me was the most impressive, I can only guess but it was very close to me and seemed to be at least a mile wide at the base of the triangle, which was the back of it and the longest part. It had a dim,circular light at the tip and also on the right and left sides of the base of it. No other lights and not a sound could I hear from the thing. It was moving at first, it seemed, about 10-15 miles an hour at about 100ft in hight. Then as it passed me it began to increase in speed, at first gradually, then seemed to accelorate beyond possiblity and was gone. Never a sound and the amazing thing was I was never scared at all which seems to me very odd. Oh yea the thing was aparently black but I'm not sure I could of seen a color it was so dark. The lights had an off white or even yellow tent to them. They were very dim.

At night I saw a large pulsating light at low altitiude, at first stationary, and then flying away at enormous speed.

In late 1988 I was alone and driving at night along Interstate 10 in Louisana going east. Over my left shoulder I saw a bright ball of pulsating light located at a low altitude. At first it was stationary. The pulsating light lit up the entire night sky. There was a car in front of me but neither of us stopped. The object then moved away in a westward direction at enormous speed.

The rate of movement of the object and the enormous intensity of the pulsating light seemed far greater than that capable by humans.

Alleged Dril or non-drilll for military base UFO approach

This is not really a UFO sighting report—however, I thought I would relate the following story: In the 1980s, my wife and I took an evening walk to a restaurant in our neighborhood for some iced tea and a piece of pie. We ran into my aunt who lived in an apartment building just down from the restaurant—she was having light refreshment with a neighbor. We joined them.

While we were visiting, a couple of teenagers sat down in the booth behind me. One of them told a story that I of course cannot verify or check out. I had a little trouble keeping up with the story because I didn't want to be rude to my aunt and her friend.

But this was his story: One weekend, he went to visit a girlfriend who lived with her family in the base-housing section at one of our air force bases. At the time, we had three air force bases in our state, plus one Marine Air facility. Because I missed a portion of his story, I'm not entirely certain, but I believe he was talking about one of our air bases.

Anyway, he said, he and his girfriend went to the base movie theater on either a Friday or Saturday night. When the movie let out, he and his girlfriend and virtually all of the people who attended the showing began their return to their homes in the base housing area. As they were walking, a siren began to sound. Immediately, all of the people headed toward various base houses. He said that there was no hesitation. His girlfriend chose a house and two or three other people followed them to the front door. The girl did not knock, but simply opened the door. The family acknowledged them and invited them to sit. Someone in the house closed the drapes in all of the living room windows and left the room, presumably to close them in the other rooms of the house. The teenager made the point that there were drapes and not blinds.

There were various conversations in the livingroom. I cannot remember whether or not the family they had walked in on offered water or other refreshment.

Sometime later—it was not clear to me how much later, as he was telling the story but it seems as if it could have been close to hour—the siren sounded again. The visitors thanked the family and everyone left.

His girlfriend told him that what just happened may or may not have been an exercise. She said she was not really supposed to know, but she had learned that the exercise or non-execise was a procedure when a UFO approached the base. The teeanger asked, “You mean, like a landing?” The girl did not really answer the question.

As I said, I have no way to knowing whether or not the guy was telling a true story, but perhaps others know of similar procedures at other military bases.

My parents raised me as a nomad, you could say. We lived in a 12-man tent, and went to many auspicious places. I remember that I was young (9) perhaps, all the bonfire parties were over etc. 11pm-3am and I don't really know the exact date. We were taking a beach stroll, gazing at the stars etc. Many objects of light surrounded us, kind of like fireflies; we stood there for 15mins or so maybe longer, (while they observed us). My father was a very intelligent man, not one to mistake anything. So after we walked back to our VW bug talking about what we'd all just experienced and drove down the freeway a bit I began to draw a picture of what I'd seen. If I remember correctly they were, either all sphere's or some were triangle, some maybe square, and that they were either all different illuminating colors or opalescent/reflective. They seemed large, out of this world, but right there like fireflies. Ok, so I give my mother the picture and she say's something like "That's cute honey but they were much bigger." and my dad said some thing about them not being colorful, that they were dark black or silver, maybe reflective. We argued back and forth for a while, and then we all felt weird like they'd gone in saw who we were etc and then erased our memory, or scrambled it. Perhaps messages that I now see. One thing I know, while we walked back to the bug we all agreed, and knew what we’d seen thought it was awesome etc. and then the memory faded away, very, very quickly. I wish I still had that picture. When men in black the movie came out and they zapped their memory away, it was funny but real. I’ll write of my most recent soon. Everything matters, yet once you know that, then nothing matters! Lol

Ufo went over the top of our car

I been wanting to tell about this sighting for many years. Around 1980 my Mom,Dad and brother were traveling to Texas for my dad to attend a class for work. He was driving and my mom was in the front seat. My brother was laying on the back seat he’s 4 years older than me. I was laying on the back dash looking up at the stars. Watched Star Trek back then but not a fan and didn’t know anything about sightings or things like that. While i was gazing up i seen a light like a flashlight really far away, while this was going on my dads fuzz buster was going off it kinda surprised me but before i could even finish thinking it was in my face and i froze. Next i find myself on the back seat laying down and my brother on the back dash first thought was he’s to big to be up there then i hear my mom screaming i sat up looked forward and saw the ship in front of us it was only maybe a few feet off the ground and the size of a greyhound bus orange yellow glow off the back no noise it went forward toward a blinking caution light about a 1/4 mile ahead i guess moving about 20 mph not sure it turned straight up looked kinda like a missile it went up about a few 100 feet really slow and shot to the moon in the blink of a eye. My dad was very key on time and kept saying it was 10pm not 12pm but my mom just kept screaming , I turned to my brother as he slid down and set besides me i ask him what that was and he says shut up. My mom said if we tell anyone she would deny it and call us crazy, lol. My dad passed but he always said if ever had Alzheimer’s he would never forget that. I don’t know for sure but my mom wound up in the drivers seat after but its been along time ago but for sure my brother and i were switched I clearly remember that cause he couldn’t fit on the back dash. There was a electrical-like white, glowing sphere in an elliptical that would appear to be a landing pattern during the summer 1977.

I saw one glowing, white, as if generated by electricity, sphere, during ghost stories or putting a flashlight under our faces after the song about the Bering Straight, overhead in front of and to the left, above trees in a elliptical pattern, moving rapidly right, from my NW moving NSE as in descent to a somewhat distant enough location a landing could not have been observed from my location.

No one else seemed to notice or as least no one said anything, nor did I see anyone looking in the direction of the sphere. Possibly, had I pointed out the sphere, by the time people looked up or behind and away from their activities, the sphere would have most likely been out of their field of view at that speed. It was traveling slow enough it could be observed for seconds. I would describe it as zipping as a good rate, but not flashing through the sky. The exact location of the camp or wood is unknown to me, possibly Mid-NE La.

It accelerated at incredible speed. The ships log was taken, and we were told that "Nothing has happened, and that's an order".

UFO hovers over car and chases it aggressively

In late Summer of 1971, after having completed a Master's Degree program at a well-known West coast university, I embarked on a cross-country trip to see my parents (whom I hadn't seen in over a year) who resided in New Jersey.

At the beginning of the trip (approx. Aug. 15, 1971) I was feeling very well-rested and energized and I planned to drive all night if I still felt good around midnight. About that time, I was in the Denver metropolitan area and was using I-70. I loaded up on snacks and coffee and, since I still felt very alert and energized, I decided to go ahead and drive all night.

After Denver, the traffic on I-70 thinned out dramatically. In fact, before too long, in the wee hours of the morning, I noticed I was indeed the ONLY car on the highway. Somewhere on I-70, about midway between Denver and the Kansas border (Lincoln County?), at approximately 3:00a.m., I encountered an unusual spotlight above my car which, as it descended closer to my car, became extremely bright red-orange in color. It was so bright one could actually read a newspaper in the car. It was so bright, I considered it a safety issue since, surrounded by all this light, I could not see the road ahead as clearly as before. I was absolutely terrified.

I was hoping this thing above my car was just an errant helicopter – but the characteristic sound of the rotors was entirely absent. There was, in fact, no sound at all. Also absent was the expected downward gusts generated by rotor blades. What terrified me even more was that the craft seemed to mimic my every move, in terms of speed and lane shifting – and it was done in a very menacing way, in my opinion.

I have identified the shape of the craft as “unknown” because my 1964 Chevy Impala was a hardtop and I could see nothing directly above. If the light from the object was any indication of size and shape, it encircled my car entirely and was substantially wider and longer than my Chevy.

In an attempt to break away from this object (that appeared to be chasing me), I gunned the gas pedal and went to over 100m.p.h. I traveled at this high rate of speed for approx. 3 to 4 minutes – but to no avail since the craft seemed to have the ability to “lock on” to my every movement seamlessly and without fail.

Suddenly, I noticed ahead of me the tail lights of another car. I moved along and passed the other car and, at that very moment, the craft disappeared just as quickly as it first appeared.

I am considering the driver of the other car as an additional witness as I am very sure he/she must have seen EVERYTHING in the rear-view mirror, probably including the exact size and shape of the thing. I think it is interesting to note that the other driver tried to remain close to me so neither of us was entirely alone. We passed each other in a leap-frog manner until daybreak was close at hand. At that point, I turned off I-70 into what was the last Colorado rest area before Kansas. The other car continued eastward.

I refreshed myself, rested awhile, and continued eastbound on I-70 after dawn (6:00a.m.?) – without further incident.

was in the back of a station wagon on the way home from visiting a relative in Lowell ME. I was looking at the stars as the view was very clear. Suddenly one of the stars moved. It was so fast that it went from the left to the right of one viewing hemisphire in less than one second. This UFO kept flying this way for approx.20-25 minutes,then stopped and remained in one place for about 2 min. Then a second UFO came straight down and locked with the first. Then a third came and they all stayed together for a few minutes and then vanished.

My first wife and I were moving to California from Dallas in a rented U-Haul truck. We first noticed what appeared to be the moon infront and above us. I remarked on how spectacular and bright it was. We noticed after a few seconds that this object was on a collision course with us looking as though it would smash right on top of us. I stopped the truck. The object stopped. I just hovered there without motion or rocking. It was absolutely still. We got the idea that it was wanting to take us with it. We both found ourselves muttering words like, "Go away, we don't want to go," etc. Suddenly it took off as though it were shot from a slingshot going straight out into the night sky as far as we could see. The object was a yellowish gold, slightly glowing. I could not make out any detail in the object. It made not noise. It scared us. It was not from this world.

Real Evidence of UFOin the 60's

Flying saucer is flying sideways, rightside up and vertical yet sideways,6 diferent pitchures taken in the 60's. Flying over country property in Nevada.The pictures are real and only 6 of 24 taken.Pictures are scrader in the role of film that was taken but I believe the UFO flip over while it was flying around the person taking the pitchures.

The pitchures have different angles of how they fly and 2 really good close ups in color.The top of the saucer in a shinning silver metal, the bottom is a brown tone,the center has glass cambers that are segmented all the way around in the middle. You can even see light though the cambers like a window.

In 1957 a strange oval spotted in Kansas that hovered, flew straight up, made 90 degree turn and accelerated at great speed vanished.

This happened many years ago. I have never forgotten what I saw.

I was a teenager on a car trip family vacation sitting in the back seat on the right hand side. I was watching out the window when I spotted something unusual. There was a brown farmhouse about a quarter mile from the road. There was also a brown shed a little distance from the house on the right. Beside the shed was a small normal water tower and right beside the top of the water tower was what appeared to be a second water tower...except it had no supporting structure and was just hovering.

As I was watching the legless oval shot straight up then made a 90 degree turn to the west and zipped out of sight at great speed. I have a vivid recollection of this even after all these years.

Video of Blue Angles airshow from 1953 shows two shiny saucers orbiting a common point.

I was watching a TV show on the Blue Angels. It was there first airshow ever. It was 1953 and the planes were taking off from an airstrip. In the background in this color video about 20 degrees up and a maybe 5 miles away are two glowing silver saucer objects circling each other in an orbit maybe a mile across. Motion of both objects is clear and they are very distinct from the darker planes of the Blue Angels and the other aircraft visible on the ground and flying by.

We believe that the first possibility to be ruled out would be blimps, perhaps blimps operated by the U. S. Navy, but that is only a guess. In 1953, back when the news media still covered UFO sightings, if the objects had, in fact, been genuine UFO's, the incident probably would have given rise to news reports. PD

This movie was filmed in 1952, a huge year in the history of ufo sightings

Years ago I was watching on vcr a movie called high noon with gary cooper, and during the first moments of the movie the camera caught a flying disc going overhead in full view of the camera. I was able to stop the video for frame by frame advancing. What is seen is two frames of the disc after it makes a 90 degree turn, it appears that the sun reveals a clear view of a disc, and the faint sign of lights coming from it, please examine it and let me know on your site. You will find this footage at the beginning of the movie, just when the outlaws take a left turn while riding horses across railroad tracks.

White light at midnight traveling into outer space.

I was on LA Army maneuvers in a forest at midnight after having driven all day long.

I was on midnight guard duty and saw a white light which I assumed to be a plane flying horizontally right to left, when it suddenly took a 45 deg upward path and eventually grew smaller and smaller as it headed into outer space, now in a right hand corkscrew circular path until the distance diminished it's light.

It took about 10 to 15 minutes so it was really traveling.

At that time we had not ever heard of UFO. I mentioned this incident in my astronomy class back in college but the instructor listened and then without comment went on with his lecture.

1942 Louisiana midnight light like airplane 10-15 minutes, then corkscrewing up into the atmosphere

On midnight (very dark night) guard duty while on Louisiana maneuvers in 1942 with 2 other soldiers I observed a light appearing to be an aircraft (we’d never heard of UFOs in those days) flying parallel to the ground.

Suddenly it made a 45 deg turn upward, and for about 10-15 minutes corkscrewed out into the atmosphere, growing dimmer all the while until it finally disappeared.
