Looking E I saw 16 white UFOs scattered across higher part of southern sky moving in unison WSW, the brighter ones appearing triangular

From 5:15-5:29 am today I saw a whole armada of what appeared to be star ships flying over my house in Bastrop TX, 30 minutes east of Austin, going WSW toward the city. At first I thought how strange it was to be seeing bright stars since we usually can barely see stars here anymore. They were all white, some brighter than others, in a huge constellation across the sky, moving in unison from east to west, scattered across the whole higher southern part of the sky, the last ones were brighter, 3 in a line, appeared triangular. I counted 16 visible but some had already passed out of view. Not stars, not planets, not planes, not satellites. Low clouds moved in as the last 3 in a row passed by. I called my son who was at work near the ABAI airport and he could see a few passing over there, definitely not planes. I also reported this to the Bastrop sheriff’s office who said they had not gotten any other reports so far.

I was on my way to work at the hospital when I saw 2 white object’s traveling at what appeared a high rate of speed. The first object was traveling from diagonally up/down while the smaller was traveling diagonally down/up. They appeared to be on intersecting paths but it was hard to tell as they disappeared so quickly. There was no flashes and the objects did not appear to have trails behind them. I was able to pull over and take a stationary picture.

Watched multicolored object in sky move oddly for over 10 minutes.

I was outside on my porch at approximately 11:40 pm in a north west direction I saw what looked like a plane at first. I watched for well over 10 minutes the object move left, right, up and down. The object never moved quickly, more bobbed about slowly. As stated I watched for a good amount of time and pointed it out to my wife. The object continued in a north west direction and eventually got behind trees I could not see clearly through.

Me and my son first notice an odd light in the sky while coming home from the store. It literally followed us home about 3 miles then stopped and hovered on the opposite side of the road when we pulled into our driveway. I videoed the object hovering about 75 yards away just over the tops of the trees on the other side of the road for about 20 minutes. During this time, my new car stalled briefly and me and my son both saw a very tall, about 9-10 feet tall, black figure standing on the opposite side of the yard, about 50 yards away. We both jumped out of my car and ran into the house and locked the door. As I looked out the window in the door, I saw the sphere take off upwards at a superfast rate of speed. A few months later I videoed another craft exactly the same up in Cheyenne , WY hovering about 100 yards away from my house just above the trees .

The object was sighted west of Bastrop, Texas, and was: metallic in color, aerodynamic in shape, about 20 or 25 feet in length, had a light at each end, made no sound at all, and was flying about only 200 feet above an open field behind the Lowe's Hardware store, flying northwest.

This cylinder was flying so fast it was over the horizon in less than 10 seconds. I have never seen anything fly this fast as it ascended and gained altitude. I presume it had landed and was taking off.

There were no propellors, rotors, wings, or jet pods.

Although the sighting was only seconds long, I got a good look at it, and another man in a white suv was staring with his mouth open in apparent near shock.

This is what I saw, and I'm going back out tonight and observe the area again which is cow and horse pasture land.

Three dark low flying objects, no lights, no sound, illuminated by the city lights of Bastrop, Tx.

I had just gotten out of my car and was going into work when I noticed three objects in the sky flying in a formation (in a row). I thought they were large birds, but as the objects went over the building I could see they weren't. They didn't have any visible lights and were relatively low because the city lights were shining off them and that's why I could see them. They appeared dark gray in color and shaped somewhat like a plane but they didn't make a sound as they went over. They were moving to the North West.

PULSATING SAUCER SHAPED UFO SEEN TRAVELLING FAST BEFORE DISSAPPEARING IN CLOUD.

I WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY 20 HEADING NORTH, ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 71 INTERSECTION IN BASTROP TEXAS. I SAW ONE SAUCER SHAPED OBJECT HEADING FROM EAST TO WEST. IT APPEARED TO BE MOVING VERY FAST AND IN A STRAIGHT LINE. I WATCHED IT ABOUT 30 SECONDS BEFORE IT CHANGED COURSE BY MOVING UP AT ABOUT A 30 DEGREE ANGLE AND DISAPPEARING INTO A CLOUD. THE CLOUD WAS NOT LARGE AND WAS VERY THIN. THE OBJECT NEVER CAME OUT OF THE CLOUD. WITHIN THE NEXT 5 MINUTES THE CLOUD BEGAN BREAKING UP AND BECAME VERY WISPY. I NEVER SAW THE OBJECT AGAIN. THE SKY WAS MOSTLY CLEAR AT THE TIME WITH JUST A FEW CLOUDS. THE UFO WAS SHAPED LIKE A DEEP FRYING PAN WITH NO HANDLE. IT WAS SLIGHTLY WIDER AT THE TOP THAN THE BOTTOM. 4 green spheres over a lake

I am a sergeant for the above Parish. I observed 4 green spheres(probably 20 feet in diameter) hovering over Bussy Break. My unit went dead. My radio did not work.I observed the 4 spheres go up into the clouds and observed a flash of what appeared to be lightning and then they were gone. Then my unit came back on except I had to start the engine again. I told nobody of this. I thought this lasted for maybe 5 minutes.I found out that headquaters had been radioing me for 2 hours and were in the process of looking for me. I advised them that I made a mistake and put a weak battery in my radio and it went dead. I was not about to tell them what I saw. I am a supervisor for crying out loud. I don't know if theis was the exact date in September but I am sure of the time.

White/Orange Light Ball in sky at night over louisiana

We exited our living area to seeing this bright light in the sky. I asked for binoculours and took a closer look. The light emitted seemed to be brighter than a star, and larger than anything I have ever seen in the sky, at the distance it was at. We jumped in our kia soul, and drove to the hilltop, where we seen a plane in the area, which seemed to be going towards this light. Came back home, and drove to our field, where we took multiple pictures of the light. We caught it being still AND in motion.

9/21/0Blinking colored lights forming perfect spherical-shaped object in night sky; moving slowly from sw to north, back to south

Originally around 9:30 p.m. saw what appeared to be a twinkling "star" in south/southwestern sky immediately above tree line from back yard. Noticed redish tint, then green and blue blink off to edge and red again with white intermitting. Went into house for binoculars; using 7 x 35 mm wide angle lenses, the image popped immediately into a sphere covered with a network of lights that were "chasing" in patterns across the exterior of this perfectly-formed globe. I couldn't even begin to guess size, thereby distance, but it seemed to hold quite still for periods of time and as I saw it float gently to north, staying ever to my west, I ran to street, calling everybody I could think of at a rather late hour for most of my friends. I found one who lived to the west of me about an hour's drive, approximately 45 miles direct route.

I kept her on phone for moral and mental support as I went back to house, got in car and drove to river, one block away, parked and turned off all lights to get clear view. It was a very visible globe, confirming the viewing of earlier, red, green and blue lights chasing one another in blinking fashion, much like chasing christmas lights; only with a peculiar pattern. The largest band of lights was around the center of sphere, and that was red, never changing but at times dimming to what appeared to be a muted tone; nearly black and white in color. Then green would appear in 2-3 rows on the lower left quadrant and blue was blinking in ring above and below the red ring, with a smattering of colors continually blinking about this globe. Imagine the framework of a geodesic dome that is a complete globe and the intersecting pieces of framework would be the positioning of the lights. They always traveled in this perfect web of lights but not in a pattern that I would be able! to identify was anything beyond random, with the exception of the repeating of the red blaze from right to left from time to time. That was dependably consistent. It then moved from due west to southwest once again and seemed to move from that point south, and away. Around 11:00 when I went back out to climb on roof to again search, I found absolutely no sign of it.

I know what I saw; it appeared to be a hollow globe, the shape defined and formed by a network of connecting lights on a grid. I'm not sure if the illumination showed interior of globe or exterior. Too far away and binoculars showed clearly the shape and color but not depth or distance.

UFO flipping very close to a jet

I was mowing my field with my tractor. While watching an airplane cross the sky I noticed something flipping about below the plane. My mind went straight to thinking it was a bird then logic kicked in on the altitude and I realized it was something abnormal. It flipped around for about 30 seconds and then shot up out of sight. Within minutes there were 5 jets in the sky, too far away to identify.

I saw the same color (metallic) and size of craft however not flipping exactly 3 years ago to the day, Oct 19th 2005. There was 3 other witnesses and it was very plain to see that it was cigar shaped with high rear fenders like a '57 Chevy! Thanks.

a cigar shaped object hovered then backed up , came forward and then quickly disappeared!

September 21, 2007 To whom it may concern , My dad and I were practicing baseball and then we saw a falcon and watched it fly. Suddenly out of nowhere we saw an object that was all silver and it had two wings in the front and two wings in the back. I would say that it was 1000 feet in the air. It hovered and then backed up went up and down with a very controlled pattern. Then my dad told me to get my mom to show her and right when we got outside it disappeared out of thin air. We saw I about 4:13 p.m. I’ve waited so long to file this report in hope what I saw will make since. This object was not far enough away for there to be any confusion about what I saw. To this day my father and I think about it.

This is the fourth report concerning the "lights" I have seen in the skies near Austin, Texas.

I placed lights in quotation marks because I am now convinced they were not lights at all but certainly had the appearance of a high altitude light, similar to a passing satellite.

It hs been my long experience that it is extremely dificult to judge the appearance, speed and altitude of objects seen in the sky from ground level. Once while stationed at Holloman AFB NM, I viewed what appeared to be very fast moving objects flying over a nearby mountain range. It turned out to be a flock of geese.

Since NM has always been famous for unexplained sightings it is easy to wrap one's brain around that possibility.

This evening I was able to focus my binoculars on the objects I have been seeing. The result was blobs which I now believe are flying spider webs which are prevelant in this area. The remaining problem in my mind is tht the objects do seem to speed up, slow down, and make turns which would not normally be the characteristic of wind borne objects.

I hope someone else will be able to provide additional sightings and info.

Seemingly very high altitude light/object moving at various speeds, and not in a straight line.

This evening after dusk I observed what seemed to be a very high light, barely discernible moving much like the way I described in my report Nov 6.

The first light I observed made an almost complete circle around the crescent moon. From ground level it is impossible to verify the height, shape or speed of the object, however it seems to be extremely high in the sky. I believe the light is reflected off the sun much like observed satellites at this time of evening/night, because after dark I was no longer to see the moving light/object. To reiterate, the light/object in no way moves like a satellite or aircraft.

I cannot help but feel other people must be observing the same pehnomena if they are closely watching the night sky after dusk, in this case approximately 6:15 Central.

Light high in the sky after dusk appeared to be satellite , but curved and changed speed

I am an ex-Airforce pilot with over 27 years flying experience. I am familiar with the the visual sensation known as hysteresis I.e., a light will seem to move if stared at for a time.

While observing the night sky near Austin TX at about 6:15 pm, I noticed a light in the high western sky which was barely discernable moving approximately south to north.

I assumed it was a satellite, but it soon started to turn in a curving motion. It also slowed to almost a stop and then accelerated sharply. The actions it took could not have been that of a satellite or high flying aircraft.

I kept sight of the light for at least 2 or 3 minutes before I lost it.

A few minutes later I picked up another light with similar actions. As stated it had all the appearance of a high flying satellite but no satellite could possible move like this light. Anyone else closely observing the night sky at this time could not have failed to see the same movement as I did. I would like to know if this happened or if there is a natural explanation for what I saw. I saw something similar several moths ago but did not report it.

UFO followed us for more than 30 minutes in Bastrop, La

On 10/17/05 a friend was coming to my house in Bastrop, La to help prepare for an upcoming Halloween party he and I were planning. He was killed 2 miles from my house in a one vehicle crash. On 10/19 his wife (friend #1) asked that we (3 friends) go to her house to get his burial clothes because she did not want to go alone. We took my car. The time there was somber to say the least, we reminisced a bit and left for my house. Upon backing out of the driveway friend #4, sitting in the back passenger side said "What in the heck is that?" Nobody looked because she has a drug problem and we never take her seriously. Her sister (friend #3), sitting in back, driver side looked and said "Oh My God look over the house!" I looked and stopped the car (in that order) and all I can say is the first thing that came to mind was "Is that an old car?" I immediately dismissed that idea because it was ridiculous and I continued driving. I figured it would 'disappear' but it didn't. I came to a stop sign within a mile, rolled through it and the object was moving closer to us from the direction of Friend #1 house. The object was not as high as a cell tower (I don't feel comfortable stating measurements in feet). It was pewter in color. It depended on the angle it was looked at, as to what it looked like. After a while I didn't see the old car resemblance, I saw a futuristic car. The car comparison is due to what appeared to be big fenders, like a 56 chevy. The closest thing my mind could compare it to was the car in Back to the Future. Its movements were as quick as a thought, there was no stall when it stopped. At one point it backed up, stopped, waited and continued when we did. It was more of a rectangle shape than a disk at one angle. Every edge was rounded and where there could have been doors there were no seams. It appeared to have a windshield because the front of the object had a darker color in the area of the windshield.

My friend that had died in the wreck had seen them many times out there as orbs and lights and triangles, always at night. We have video that he filmed. I watched some of it, I saw an orb but I'm not sure what to think but he was definitely convinced it was abnormal.

The area we were traveling is in a very rural area and the road from their house to town is narrow and winding with trees hanging over the road. Most of it follows a bayou for the first 5 miles or so. Then it is open pastures and farm land for 5 or 6 miles to a city of 20,000. I live on the opposite side of town so we drove through town on a four lane highway until we stopped at a gas station 3 miles from my home. Then we proceeded to my house through farm land. Through the entire route the object stayed to our left as we headed north and then west. It was hard to see it clear when we first left Friend #1's house due to the trees but we could see it. It followed us along the winding road. It stopped when we stopped and we all commented about it stopping. All of us are fairly cool-headed so no one panicked. It was the first time any of us saw a spark of the normal Friend #1 in the past few days. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry so we all started laughing, everybody found a cigarette to puff on and we watched it follow us for the next 10 miles until we stopped at the gas station. No one outside of my car seemed to see it. We were all looking up and while on the 4-lane I watched other cars and it was as if they didn't see us either but that's not unusual these days. When we stopped the lights from the gas station were so bright that we couldn't see the sky. I never noticed that it would cause a blind spot when you try to see past the fluorescent lights at dusk. While we were in the store I remembered I had a dang camera in the car!. After 5 minutes we started back out and it was waiting on us over a field still to the left, passed a bridge. Now it was dark. I pulled my car to the right and jumped on my hood with my camera and started taking pictures and when I did the dang thing started flipping literally. It now had red, white and blue lights (we triple checked that that night). I got one shot of it in video (I attached it P1010006.MOV), if you have problems opening it I can co! nvert it Everyone was moving around in the car so all the still shots look like slivers of light. I hollered for them to stop and they did and that is when I got the video. They were all freaking out about me being on the hood. I guess they thought I may get beamed up. After listening to coast to coast, I have realized that may not have been the smartest move. The object shot up so far in the sky it was just a blink of a light so I got down and drove us to my house. When we arrived at my house we told my husband what had happened and he looked at us like we had been doing drugs. We pointed it out to my husband who quickly saw we weren't making it up. He saw the 3 lights and estimated it was 1/2 mile up. He manages road construction so I trust his judgment on the measurement. It was higher now than it was when we first saw it. Friends #3 & #4 left and I offered to take Angie to her Dad's in Monroe so we could talk about what had just happened. When we left, the object didn't immediately follow us. My husband said the lights started getting closer to our house, so close that he went inside in fear of what may happen if he didn't. After 15 minutes we saw it again while heading south on Hwy 165. It was high in the sky (1/2 mile I guess) hovering. Once I got her home I headed back to my house and I did not see it again until 10/19/2008. I saw the same type craft in the sky roll out of the path of a jet. To the day and the hour!

huge round green pulsing light floating toward the ground outside Bastrop Louisiana

We were at Baron Ball Park in Bastrop, Louisiana watching a game when my husband said look at that.....WE turned around and it was the oddest thing, but very pretty. It was a huge round green pulsing light descending towards the ground. It was very graceful and just seemed to float. I have seen many a falling star in this area, but this was very different. It appeared to fall over Winnsboro, La., but that is only a guess. It seemed to come out of the north and was falling in south east. Other people may have seen it, but I did not hear anyone say anything to that effect. Do you have any idea what it was?

I saw a green ball of light with an orange tail for 3 sec. in central Texas.

At approximately 4:15pm on Monday the 23rd of February, I was on my back deck testing my spa water when I heard a passenger jet passing overhead. I looked up to see it passing overhead. Then I noticed out of the corner of my eye, a flash of color in the sky to my far right. I turned and looked to see a green ball of light with an orange tail shooting from west to east at an altitude of about 20,000 ft. It was the size of a pea at arms length. There were low gray clouds, but this green ball was below them. There was no sound, and after 3 seconds, it just vanished. The jet was traveling from southwest to northeast almost directly to where I first noticed the ball of light. Austin Bergstrom International Airport is about 24 miles east of my house. It reminded me exactly of the green ball that shoots out of a roman candle firework except the tail was short and orange. It looked a lot like a meteor that just enters the sky and burns up in the atmoshpere. I didn't think much of the sighting until I read your site with the mutiple sightings of about the exact same thing that I saw that day.

A bright light was seen in the sky, and was thought to be a star until it started moving. It moved back and forth, and up and down. Sometimes it climbed in a diagonal course. The object also changed colors. It went from blue to redto green.

Later, WE briefly saw the same object again, but in a different part of sky. I often look for such objects, but I've never seen anything quiet like this.

something flying in and out of formation within a triangle shaped constellation

My family and I were coming back from Pecan Land Mall in Monroe on Highway 165, when I noticed something odd about a Constellation. I like to watch the sky when riding in the car.....There is a Constellation, that I don't know what is called, but it looks like an arrow or an arrow head or a triangle with 3 stars that come off the bottom. Anyway, I got to noticing that the stars(?) between the three main points of the triangle were flying off and disappearing and then coming back and getting back where they were to beging with..... We watched this all the way home and then went out to our tiny little airport and continued to watch it out there. I sure would have liked to have had a video camera because this would have been easy to film. We have no idea how long this continued to go on because we finally went home. We decided that it was more than likely some kind of Military stuff. Did anyone else report this oddity. Every time I see the triangle in the sky I can't help, but to watch it for a while to see if it is going to happen again and that has been many years ago.

The sphere moved in an absolute straight line just above the tree line.

I was in the backyard of my residence. The residence is located in the pine woods of Bastrop County, about 5 miles north of the city of Bastrop. The back yard was small, only about 30 x 50'. There were trees surrounding the rest of the house and some small scrubs then larger trees in back of the yard.

I had notice a passenger plane passing over just a few minutes before. I was shooting a BB pistol when something moving at my left side in the air caught my attention. When I first looked up, my immediate thought was that it was a dandelion puff then I realized a puff would be too heavy to fly. Upon closer observation, it appeared to be a sphere in shape, of metalic construction. It was traveling about ten to fifteen feet above the tree line in an absolute straight line without wavering. The speed is estimated to be about 5mph. There was a slight breeze which made me think that this object was under some kind of power or it would have wavered in the wind.

I wanted to get my camera but thought that it would be out of sight by the time I retrieved it. As the object passed at about a 10 degree angle from where I was standing, and about forty feet away, I opened fire with my BB pistol. I had my doubts that I would hit it but felt like if I could, I may be able to alter its course. I shot at it several times and then observed it as it went out of sight beyond the trees in the front yard.

I have relived this event many times, wondering just what it was that I observed. I have never observed another unexplained object since that time or even before.

Large rectangular object, about 100 yards over the power lines.

A friend and I saw this huge metallic rectangular object near dusk over an apartment complex. The object was roughly about 150 feet long, and 40 feet high, with a light shining in the left front corner. We watched this object for about 10 minutes, it made no sound. It then slowly moved east ascending in a spiral before it shot straight up faster than anything i've ever seen and dissapeared. We have never reported this experience and would like to find others from the area that may have seen this object in this time frame.

Rectangular bright craft on Hwy 139 From Monroe to Bastrop,LA.

Leaving Monroe, LA, around dusk on Hwy 139,

This was seen in the East appearing to be only just above the treetops. It seemed to follow along the path our car was taking (North on Hwy 139) and even crossed the road once and came back to our left (East) side.

It followed along until just before entering Bastrop, LA, between 7 and 8pm that night.

My family and I have talked about this event for years and always wondered if anyone else had witnessed this as it was still early and there were plenty other vehicles on the road.

My jaw dropped when I read the previous report on this last night, and after confirming with my daughter and nephew the time of night, as well as the date. I have no doubt that the other poster saw the same object that we did.
