A square light in the sky, which disappeared, reappeared, and disappeared.

I was watching the demolition derby at the Union Fair, when I noticed a light in the sky out of the corner of my eye. I looked up and saw an apparently silent square (though it was more of what Google tells me is a squircle) of bright white light moving slowly across the sky. I glanced back to the derby, and then looked up again. The object was gone, but then reappeared. I looked back at the derby again, and when I checked again, the object was gone. I looked back, observing the sky but it was gone. Throughout the remainder of the demolition derby, I'd look back up, but I never saw it again.

Observed a single light not blinking with a Silhouette black that appeared to be in the shape of a Triangle

Took dogs out back and looked up at the sky and noticed a single light flying south of my house approximately 30k ft or about the height of airplanes. The single light did not blink and the UFO was swerving and make twirls in the air. As the UFO was flying you could see a black silhouette of what appeared to be a Triangle as the craft kept going the light faded out and could not see the craft at all. 20-30 seconds later an airplane appeared heading north from from possibly a mile or two from where the UFO disappeared, as if it was hiding from the plane. Please note as the UFO flew over there was no sound or engine noise from it but as soon as the plane flew over you could clearly hear its engines.

Slow moving line of "stars"

In South Union after dark, I saw what appeared to be ~30-40 lights in the Eastern part of the sky going North to South.

It looked like if you've ever seen a satellite at night; like a shooting star but very slow with a constant speed and brightness with no blinking lights. However, in this case there were about 30-40 of these "stars" that were fairly close together, moving in a line parallel with the horizon and in the Eastern sky going from North to South. The "stars" did have a constant speed and the did not move up or down. They were in a perfect line and covered roughly 25 degrees of the sky.

Eventually, they all just kind of slowly faded away as they made it further along the sky. Either they became too far away to see or there was some hazy cloud cover they went behind.

I would estimate that the viewing angle would be right at 35-40 degrees from the horizon.

Huge, white, circular shape hanging low in night sky in Union, NJ

I witnessed what I thought at first was a star in the sky. But then I realized it was not blinking so it could not be a star and didn’t have red and blue lights so it couldn’t have been an airplane.

It was one singular circle in the sky.

It was bizarrely low in the sky. It was the shape of a perfect circle and was the same color as a star but it was massive in size relative to the stars. It was maybe 4x the size of a star or larger.

It didn’t appear to be a planet because there was no reddish tint and it was too low in the sky.

It was perfectly still and I unfortunately lost sight of it because I was in the backseat of a car and we passed by some tall buildings. When the view reappeared the object had seemingly disappeared into thin air.

Unfortunately, I was the only witness.

35 small lites fairly straght line all spaced closely in sky headed west to east from Chicago area.

My wife an I watch 35 lights very high in sky, in almost a straight line fly over our home in Union MI tonight. They were flying west to east in slight southern sky as we were in hot tub in our deck. My wife is very skeptical, but was surprised by what she witnessed. They were not evenly spaced out, slighty out of line but looked like they were headed to same destination. No sound or blinking. I have never seen that many satilites lined up like that. way to slow for meteor, speed of slow satilites.

04/20/2020 Bright White Triangular light lighting up woods with Yellow light towards the top of trees- SC

Standing in my backyard with 2 daughters, whistling for our cat this evening. We were outside for about 10 minutes at 9:30 pm(04/20/2020). We heard our cat meowing very close then very far- seconds apart - we thought something had got her and moved her- because she was meowing really close to our lawn again- I looked up and noticed a grey rainbow in the sky above us & told my girls to look because it was really odd to see in the night sky. We kept hearing our cat very close and seconds later very far away. After about 10 minutes trying to get her in, I was still looking in the woods when I saw an extremely white triangular light coming from the woods- I froze thinking who is driving in the woods- then common sense kicked in and I thought- there is no way any vehicle could drive through the woods as it is so dense- and I could not comprehend the shape of the light coming towards us-it was the point of a triangle of white light - lighting up the entire woods -! coming towards us- at that point I turned- yelled to my girls to get in the house- they were yelling, running and asking me if I saw the bright yellow lights lighting the tree tops up- It was very surreal -

Approximately 30 solid lights that appeared to be stars crossed the sky from the Pacific coast toward Seattle.

Most were in a straight line.

A few were parallel.

One came up a little further north, then stopped, while the others went by.

At the end the one that had stopped and one I had not previously seen from the south, crossed the last one in line. No flashing lights, no headlights (there were a few clouds that would have shown them) no sound, no color.

They moved faster than a plane.

We were driving home down Route 190 in Union Connecticut when we spotted white lights hovering in the distance (western sky). There was one bright light in the middle with a line of lights off to each side creating a sort of eye shape.

I was looking just to the south of the Northern Cross and saw a distinctive, triangular shaped light brightly flash just once.

It illuminated long enough to realize the direction of travel as south/southwest. Made no sound. Did not exhibit the typical red/green/clear strobing lights of typical aircraft.

This is the second time this summer I've seen strange lights in this same area of the night sky. In all the years I've been "looking up", I've seen satellites, 2 comets, run of the mill aircraft, blimps, whatever, but never anything like this.

Around 9 pm in the town of union missouri on the night of June 23 2015 there were two to three lights at various time. My cousin first witnessed it, he called me and I also seen it. He called his aunt and her friend they watched it, and so did several people according to their Facebook account. My cousin has worked in military and is familiar with helicopters and other aircraft.

Neither me nor him heard any noise, nor did his aunt, but another witness said they heard a noise such as an aircraft. We as well as other saw 2 to 3 different lights hovering, blinking off and on. Sometimes pulsing off and on. Sometimes solid colors and sometimes changing colors, mostly white lights, but also red, blue, and other colors. I believe a witness or two call the union police depth and some other organization, not for sure if local airport, etc., and said there were no planes or helicopters reported in area. One of the lights would be the brightest, brighter than any aircraft or planet, I did not witness any other days, but on June 24 the next night 2 lights were back.

I also saw about a week before that the St Louis news channel called fox2now.Com had a reports from many witnesses of strange lights around the union and at Louis area a week before all of this. On other occassions, I have seen lights before that hover over the past few years. I have memories from my child hood from ages as early as 5 to 12 years old of missing time and also sleep walking multiple times, I grew up in my grandparents home, and my sleep walking going getting out if bed and going outside got so bad, sometimes they would stay up to watch me and also add extra locks on doors so it would cause it to be harder for me to get outside. And I also remember stories that my grandmother told about seeing a strange light and entity while her, my grandpa v and their kids were in the car. And in the late 1980s there was a documented report that my grandpa's broth! er my great uncle had a crop circle on his farm, he told pepol! e he had seen a craft and also an entity and talked to them, but alot of people on our town made fun of him and he never spoke of it again, my grand parents are no longer living, but my great uncle is. I just know for years I've seen things I can't explain and with my sleep walking and missing time I would like to find out what has went on for all my life. When I was a child, I would sometimes have bruises or marks on my chest arms and legs that could not explain, a few in my adult life. I've done research over the years and heard about hypnosis. If a person could put me in contact with someone who done that I would be willing to do that if I could possibility find out answers to make sure I'm haven't lOSS my mind or dreamed things up. I know this a lot of information over my life, but once I started reporting the recent sighting I thought I never say or report anything. I thought I would get all this off my chest. amber fireball descending,splits into 3 objects,stops,they hover above ground with erratic movements

My son,wife and i were getting out of our car and my son suddenly is pointing to the sky and saying "look a meteor". In the northeast sky from our vantage point looking at about a 50-60 degree angle up we witnessed a fireball entering our atmosphere at a fast rate of speed.It was an amber/orange color and had a contrail that was a whitish color. What happened next was amazing!

The ball of light,as it was descending, split into two balls of light and then three. The objects slowed down as they got closer to the ground,then stopped! They completely disappeared for about three seconds and then reappeared in the same location.

The objects were about the size of large jets to comparison,as CVG airport is a few miles away and we are familiar with their size in the nite sky. The 3 objects then began to move up,down,left,right just hovering maybe at an altitude of a mile or so off the ground. We watched them for about 5 minutes make these strange movements in a fairly close proximity to each other, and then they slowly drifted to the east or northeast and went out of our view.

2 bright lights in the sky.

I saw 2 lights in the sky and I thought they were cars on top of a hill. As i looked closer i could see the outline of the hill because it wasn't quite dark yet and there was a bright moon. As I looked closer, the 2 lights were moving slowly but just in one general area.

I went outside to see if I could hear if they were helicopters hovering and I could not hear a thing.

As I continued to watch the objects would seem like they were moving closer together and move apart and then be horizontal from each other and then move vertically from each other. This went on for several minutes.

Finally they both started moving across the sky first really slow and then picked up speed.

As they went by I listens really close and could not hear a single thing from them and they finally just moved out of site.

Dear Peter,

I heard your interview on Coast to Coast with George Noory, last Sunday, June 2, 2013. You mentioned that in the previous week you were astounded that there were over 400 UFO sightings. I reviewed some of the sitings and they seemed very easily explainable to me. One of them, in Maine, I believe was very obviously the B-1 Bomber in the sky.

I checked with a local AFB website (Creech AFB has a website - near my home in Pahrump, NV) and as I expected, the Air force - specifically the B -1 Squadron out of Texas) was doing Green Flag exercises from May 17 - May 31. These are exercises which replicate exact tactics that are being used currently in Afghanistan. They are also trying out a new targeting system which explains the sighting in Cleveland or Indianapolis, I believe, where someone saw planes flying in formation chasing a white light - it turned red (blew up), then vanished (because it disintegrated in the air). This is typical Air force exercises that occur at different times for military readiness.

I hope this helps with your quest. I am an extraterrestrial hopeful, and am always interested in extraterrestrial life - would like to believe we are being visited, but in these cases the only vists are from Uncle Sam.

Could you please direct me to the website you accessed? Also, if you spoke with someone in the U. S. Air Force, could you please provide me with a name of, and a telephone number for, that person.

I recognize that any aircraft in the air might give rise to a UFO sighting, but the U. S. Air Force probably does not shoot down “targets” over civilian areas, or even over unpopulated forests, given the damage and injury that could occur.

Other aspects of your observation that I don’t understand is why two B-1B bombers would be flying in close formation, and why they would have bright lights on them. Moreover, they are very loud, and even at a distance of many miles, they would have had a sonic signature.

High Altitude Craft

Me and a friend was laying in the yard looking into the clouds, enjoying the last days of warm weather left that year, when I noticed something extremely far up, but the clouds seemed very high altitude... the reason I say this is because I could see different sets of clouds at different levels,

The ship seemed silver, I'm not exactly sure about the shape, it kind of appeared and reappeared in and under the cloud line, in the same location before finally disappearing completely.

When I first seen the object, I told my friend and he immediately noticed what I was pointing to. The thing that got me is how it was so far up, and it was stationary other than when the clouds would block the object. There was light/s, I'm not for sure how many, or design…but it is possible it was reflections.

multiple craft forward red-orange light, slowly flying low east-southeast across Union MI, disappeared as they passed over. silent.

On august Saturday August 11th about 10:01 pm my wife and I were traveling from a local pizza place to our home in Union MI. My wife 45year olf, and myself 51 year old have lived in Union MI with our children for 20+ years. as we traveled west on US 12 my wife said look at those, what are those airplanes.

I looked to the west, north west in the sky just above the trees and saw a formation of what appeared to be 4 small aircraft with steady orange reddish lights moving in a sort of diamond formation just a couple of hundred feet I would estimate above he ground. The craft were traveling east-south east across the sky, and crossed US 12 near Trout road. I pulled off onto Baldwin Prairie Rd. and watched as the lead craft seemed to fade away as it passed over. Then one by one the craft would appear to separate and disappear. We turned around and proceeded north on Baldwin prairie rd to get away from trees and get a better look at the west sky. We went about ½ mile and turned back around south again when she said she saw another one, we went back to Baldwin Prairie Rd. and US 12 and pulled over and I got out and got my cell phone and attempted to record one of the craft that she saw then coming again east-southeast across US 12 about at vera drive, above the John Deere dealer. Th! e recording is not very good as the cell phone makes it appear as if the craft are very far away when in reality I would say they appeared to be maybe 500 feet away at most.

We then proceeded west on US 12 to where we could get a better look at the west-northwest sky and saw another coming above the trees, I recorded it as best as I could. The craft appeared to only have one red-orange or yellow-orange flame like, incandescent appearing light facing forward as when the craft passed nearly directly over us it would fade then gradually you could not see it any more as if the body of the craft was blocking the light facing forward.

Although there was really no visible portion of the craft to really tell how large it was just primarily the light.

The other peculiar thing we realized is that they seemed to be totally silent. Although at 200 to 500 feet above us an ultra light would be quiet, when there were periods of no vehicle traffic we should have been able to hear some sort of engine noise. They were to the best of my ability silent, and probably moving about 25 to maybe 35 mph.

I gave the camera to my wife who had turned off my vehicle, and got a spot light out of my vehicle. The light is a streamlight lightbox, LED spot light, used by firefighters, relatively bright. As another light began to move into view. She did her best to video this last craft and as it passed over us I decided to try and hit it with the light to see if I could get a glimpse of any portion of the craft itself. This was unsuccessful as the beam just seemed to fall short of anything related to the craft. I did blink the light several times to see if there would be any change in behavior and there was none. The only difference is after the light from the craft disappeared as all the others did it seemed like you could get a very faint reflection of light from the spot light. I don't know it may have just been the desire to see something straining against the dark as the craft disappeared, and trying to make some sense of the situation.

We figure we saw 12 in all flying basically all the same direction east-southeast.

I checked the weather as soon as we arrived home 10:16 pm and found the temp 63 deg. F., Humidity 83%, visibility 10miles. Wind WNW at 8mph.

They did not appear to be hot air balloons as there was no sign of the balloon from what might have appeared to be the flame producing the light, and as I stated as they moved overhead and began to then move away instead of towards they would disappear as the light appeared to only be in the front facing. They looked a little like a tear drop shape lithe or a cone shape toward the craft as the passed directly overhead.

With all the talk of military surveillance testing and drones, etc... makes me wonder.

I called and reported it immediately to our dispatch center and asked that they call me tomorrow and let me know if anyone else reported seeing the craft.

6 red lighted objects seen flying over Hood Canal near Alderbrook Resort in Union WA.

While traveling east, towards Belfair, on Hwy 106 near Union WA we spotted 4 bright, steady, red lighted objects in the sky flying across Hood Canal. The red lights seemed to be on the outside of the objects and it was difficult to tell the shape of them because of the distance away from us. These objects seemed to fly evenly spaced apart but not really in any sort of formation. We watched as we were traveling and then pulled off the road at Alderbrook Resort. We saw the 4 objects disappear into the sky and seem to become dim, white lights in the background. Within about 30 seconds 2 more objects appeared flying in the same direction as the others. One soon disappeared, becoming a dim, white light near where the other 4 were. The 6th object traveled further on away from the others heading north east. Within a minute or so it also disappeared into the sky appearing to be a dim, white light in the background. While our vehicle was stopped one of us got out and! was not able to hear any sounds coming from the objects. The entire event took approximately 4 minutes from the time we spotted the red lighted objects.

I am a amatuer UFO enthusiest, I reported my sightings to MUFON. Only to have them tell me there planes,helicopters,blimps,etc. with no real investigation ever done? I received emails from there head investigator telling me he was an expert..and was even abducted. OK so what do I care!!! This is where it gets strange,in the beginning my pics were all over the net, I use earthcam and wired New York web cams to capture my pictures. Well lately I’ve noticed that the page will never refresh every 30 seconds like it used to and sometimes they block me completely??? Why?, I have no clue.

Anyone can use these cams to see these objects, I believe the cameras have infarred view and that’s why I get so many Strange pictures. I am sending my first report to you guys in a hope that you will show my evidence and investigate this matter further..??? If you don’t believe me just watch the cams for yourself and you’ll see…Trust me on that !!!!

Red/orange Lights over Union Ohio with sound at first

We were sitting inside when my younger sister and her friend came running inside screaming there is something in the sky. My friend, fiance, parents, and I all ran outside to see what she was talking about. When we got outside there were only three redish orange orbs in a formation pattern. They began to move in an elliptical direction and changed to a blue color and then back to red. As soon as it changed back into the red color it slowly disappeared.

When we came back inside we asked my sister what exactly happened, she said that they heard something in the sky and looked up to see around seven shapes in the sky moving around in a weird way. She mentioned that it sounded similar to a helicopter before they started to go away. She went on to say that one on the outside of the formation shot something out away from where they were standing. I am certain that these were not helicopters. The way these were moving is not something that any helicopter could imitate, especially the shape. The objects that I saw were brighter than any star, or meteor that I have ever seen.

A brilliant starburst light in the night sky which moved away from the three witnesses at an unbelievable speed.

While watching for airplanes and shooting stars, two friends and I witnessed an extremely bright light appear above us and move across a portion of the sky.

This object was moving faster than an aircraft but not as fast as a shooting star. One of the witnesses had time to look out of a vehicle window when the other two individuals shouted "look at that!" This object was larger and brighter than any star or planet I have ever seen. The moon is the only thing which ever appears in the night sky which is brighter than this object. It was a single, brilliant white light with a starburst appearance. There were no sounds or blinking lights associated with this object.

The most disturbing thing about this object was how it went away. The light faded to black. It appeared to fade down to nothing just like someone had turned down a dimmer switch or if this object had moved away from us at an unbelievable speed.

I have observed many meteor showers and aircraft over the years and have never seen anything remotely as strange and disturbing as this object.

Bright white light seen trailing through the sky North East of Union, NJ.

While sitting on my deck observing the sky, an airplane caught my attention flying at medium altitude like it had taken off from JFK or LaGuardia airport in NYC. The direction was North East from Union, NJ.

After looking at the airplane for a few seconds, an extremely bright light appeared at a lower altitude than the plane and then shot off to the left in an arc leaving a slight trail of light behind it.

This single point of light was very pure white and much larger in appearence (2 to 3 times its size) than the airplane which is why I assume it was at a lower altitude.

I have spent a good deal of time on my deck for the last 10 years and never observed anything like this. I was able to follow the object for approximately 5 seconds and then it disappeared.

There was a triangular object flying East on Rt. 22 in Union NJ. It was dark with three lights on the corners.

I was sitting in my car in the IHOP parking lot facing west. I was looking at the stars for about 20 minutes when I looked to my right I saw a triangle object travelling NE. It was quiet and moving in a eeire fashion. It had three dim points of light on the corners. It was the size of a small Wendys or checkers restaurant.

There were no planes in the area untill it passed by.

I Watched for 3 hours, a bright light scoping out of a cigar shape, as though searching or surverying.

I have worked in the dental field for 18 years as office manager. My husband is a general contractor/mostly new homes. I currently work at home doing his bookkeeping etc. We are both 40 years old. I went out to my deck shortly afer midnight to watch a meteor-shower which had been predicted by our local news weather man. I was interested because he said as many 60 per hr. could be viewed. As I watched I would also see an occasional plane go by, at usual speed,with flashing lights, etc. But then,around 1:00 a white light came flying by which I noticed was going much faster than a plane. I thought it must be a faster military craft or something that I'm not familiar with. It continued to fly up into the sky and I noticed it seemed to slow down,and hover, but I thought, "No, that would be weired". It then stopped and looked like it blended into the sky as one of the stars. I continued to watch it since I had just seen it fly by, I knew it wasn't a star. For the next 3 hours I watched it as the bright,white, light would move in random directions. It was similar to a search light, but it would move suddently to the left, or right, or up or down, diagnal, and even zig-zag at times. It also seemed to bounce around. I was very intrigued at first but became frightened. My husband was asleep on the couch and I was reluctant to tell him, thinking he would not believe me if he did not see it move,(since it looked like a star). I woke him after watching it about an hour and being certain that this was nothing I could identify. He came to the window and watched it until he too saw it moving in random directions. We agreed that we didn't know what it was, & that I would look into it in the morning to see if there was some explanation. I continued to watch it through my window until a little after 4:00 a.m. I was afraid to go back outside. It continued to do the same things but it came in closer at one point, as I focused on the movement of the light I could then see that it was not just "a light", it was attached to something much larger. It was shaped like a tubular light bulb and the light was on the end of it. There was a dim light on the other end. What was happening, was that the bright light part would scope out from the larger part and sort of look around in all directions as though it was searching or surveying. Then it would scope back in. (coming out to the left and back in, to the right). The light would become brighter as it moved around then dimmer when it was stationary. I could clearly see that the "bouncing" would happen when it moved a certains ways, then stopped. It reminded me of the way a turtle's head moves around. I don't know what it was, or what it was doing, but I'll never forget it, and would love to know. I will never look at a star the same way again.

At 1:55 p.m. on October 6, I looked toward the east over Union, N.J., and saw what appeared to be two extremely small, white aircraft that resembled crosses. They moved at slow air speed. Each appeared to release what I thought might have been two parachutes. But I saw no person attached to them. Instead, I saw what looked like two tear-dropped, transparent shapes, almost the consistency of a bubble a kid would blow. After a minute, they vanished and the aircraft moved west. Then, from behind a cloud, came three more planes of the same description and they formed a five-across formation and headed west toward Morristown, N.J. Two minutes later, I heard a jet sweep through, but it was hidden behind clouds. But it sounded as if it were in pursuit. Five minutes later, four fighter jets joined the chase. That's it.

10 to 20 second fly by in south western sky in Union Kentucky mysterious no noise, super fast, near CVG.

Looking out my kitchen window as the sun was setting I see a majority of airplanes approaching CVG to land, and even see planes pass by way up in the sky. My family are a bunch of pilots and I have been taught by them how to identify aircraft in the sky.

Around 8:40pm looking out I noticed a group of birds flying just above the horzion and above a tall tree, so I can imagine the birds were about 80 to 200 feet above. As soon as I watched the birds fluttering up and down heading from left to right across my window I noticed another object about the same size as the birds from my distance, but it didn't flutter. It went really fast, faster than any bird and it kept very straight and steady. And it seemed to be just above the birds, but as quick as it was I really couln't tell the distance from the object to the ground. I would say it lasted between 10 seconds to 20 seconds that I saw it. By that time the object has disappeared out of my sight and the birds were still just making it barely to the half way point of my vision from my window. The object passed the whole window, so I can use that as a measuring tool. The speed astounded me, because it was unreal. When airplanes approach or fly over, you hear them from inside my house. There was no noise from the craft. No sonic boom, nothing! Note airplanes you can make out a shape because they are not that fast to the point that you can't tell its an airplane. Everyone knows this. Of course it could be the airforce, but then there would of been some sonic boom or some noise. I wonder if anyone else noticed this object. Lastly, there were planes in the sky above, and they definitly could not compare to the unidentified object that I saw, meaning there was clearly something unusual about what i saw compared to a cesna, 747, 737, 777, or any other commericial and non commerical aircraft.

crystal clear blue sky background. no other objects in the sky. Went outside on my deck to observe a high flying eagle, hawk or other large bird of prey, so I thought initially. First thing I saw was a dot in the relative NW sky. Immediately, I went inside to get my highest powered binoculars, told my wife I had seen a high flying bird, I assumed since there is little to no mechanical air traffic over US and the "bird was hovering". When I looked through the eyepiece, instantly I became excited and called upon my wife to join me in my joy of the object. Brilliant copper gleaming definitely metalic large oval sphere, like a egg but with short midway wing flanges. Size perhaps like small fighter jet, but way up in sky. After hovering, object took off high speed across to the Southern horizon away from me, no smoke trail or other exhaust, no noise at any time, no wobble. moved like a balloon, but with apparent hover and direction. Perhaps a new prototype our government is employing in our war on terrorism. Perhaps an alien craft, from a mother ship sent down to NE seaboard to investigate the recent occurence and the lack of air travel in our country. Either way, I enjoyed the emotion I was feeling. Perhaps I'll never know what it was but it does make me feel good, in my unrelentless search of the heavens.

U.F.O or a wandering star?

I work in a chemical plant. So there is no smoking on the property. When break time came, The night shift supervisor and I stepped out side the property gate to have a smoke. Since a kid, I have always dreamed about space. That night the sky was totaly clear. So as I was smoking my cigarette, I was looking up at the stars. I noticed one star more than the others.It looked like it was moving.So I told the night supervisor to look.When he got his eye on it, it was moving. At that time It was moving at a good speed. It looked like maybe it could be a shooting star. Until it stopped moving.Then I knew it had to be something else.So I asked the night shift supervisor what he thought it could be. When he started to answer, It started to move again. We were trying to keep an eye on it, But there were trees soon to be in the way.But that didnt matter. It was like someone turned a switch off. It was gone. What it looked like was a star. It was bright with a little flicker. It was the coolest thing I ever saw. Like I said, It looked like a star at first. But then it started to move. Now, I have seen shooting stars before. This was not a shooting star. Ther was no trail behind it. And as far as i know, shooting stars dont just stop.

Franklin County, Union, Missouri at Hwy 50 and Prairie Dell Rd, WalMart

My dates are not exact, I apologize for that, but I can narrow it down to a 3 year window when my oldest daughter was 12-15 years old, she will be 23 this year. This sighting occured between approximately 6-7 pm, in broad daylight, as I was stopped at the stoplight on Hwy 50 (in front of Wal Mart and across the Hwy from East Central College), several cars in front of me, several behind me. I was Eastbound headed toward I-44, and while stopped at the light, I noticed the cars stopped Westbound, looking at something to my left. I looked to my left, I remember having to turn my head quite far - practically over my left shoulder, and hovering approximately 20 ft over the trees was a massive object. The exact location at the time had a large barn and silo on it, but is now a strip mall of shops - directly west (to the left if you are facing the front of it) of wal mart.

The object appeared to be 20+ feet high, 50 to 60 feet wide, and it was matte mettalic looking, grey/silver in color. Solid in appearance, with no distinguishable lights or windows. The object appeared to be motionless, and made no audible sound that we could hear. The best way to give a visual is this: Take a stainless steel dogs food/water bowl, and turn it upside down. This hovering object was wider at the top, slightly narrower at the bottom.

As I recall, it took several seconds for my brain to process what I was seeing, as it wasn't necessarily scary looking, it was more of a "what the ****?" reaction, more alarmed than frightened. I turned to look at my daughter in the front passenger seat - she was leaning forward and towards me, looking out my driver side window at the object, with her mouth hanging open. I remember saying "you see it too?", to which she replied with a nod of her head indicating "Yes". I had the presence of mind to glance around at the other vehicles, the traffic light had turned green and no one moved, we were all looking at the object. I looked back at the object and stared at it for what seemed like maybe 1 minute more, and I promise as God is my witness, it "disappeared". My daughter's interpretation of it is the same. One second it was there, and the next, gone. No dramatic flight at high speed was witnessed, just the analogy that it seemed to vanish in the blink of an eye.

The craziest thing of all, looking back on it now, is that there had to be at least 6 cars that I noticed, whose occupants were looking at the same thing we were, and none of us acknowledged to each other what we had just seen. I checked the local newspapers for months after the incident, hoping for some validation, but could find none. My husband said that if I wouldn't report it out of fear of being labeled a psycho-nutcase, what made me think anyone else would report it? He had a point. Anyway, I plan on checking back here from time to time, to see if anyone else comes forward.

I would like to point out that I see that there IS another report on here that sounds like a family saw the same type of object in almost the exact location, except their experience occured in 2004. I held my breath when I saw "Union" and "Wal Mart"! I hope more people "google" their experience, as I just did, and find this site. After all of these years, reading about the other Union Wal Mart sighting report gives me the validation that I have been searching for, for many years. THANK YOU!! I live in Northern Minn. I’m retired from Law Enforcement of (10) years. I then moved into State Government work for (28) years. After retirement I stepped back into Government work as a consultant. I worked as a Volunteer Asst. Fire Chief for (24) years. I was also a member of the Bomb & Arson squad in my county.

Lets start by the date! On Jan. 5, 2000 I was at a nearby township investigating a house fire. At around 3:15 a.m. I walked back to my truck to clean off all the dirt from my boots and turn out gear. I stated listening to the Two-Way Radio in my truck. We where picking up radio traffic from the ILL area. The ILL Co. dispatcher was talking to some Police cars about a object moving North East heading for the St. Louis, MO area.

After about a half hour, I was still on the fire scene I stated heading home on I-44. That’s when I picked up our county dispatcher talking to a Union, MO Police Officer about a large object over Hwy. 50 & Hwy. 47. I turned down Hwy. 47 towards Union, MO. As I came over the hill into town I saw three white lights about 75-100 ft. apart from each other. In between the round white lights there were multicolored-color lights scrolling back and fourth from left to right and back again.

I came down the hill and pulled up behind two Police Officers parked on the side of the road.

I then could see a very large triangle shaped craft with more lights on the bottom of the craft. One very bright white light in each corner & one red light in the center towards the back of the craft. The white lights where beaming straight down. The red light was blinking on & off like a radio tower light. I got out my truck and started walking up to the Police Officers. One officer was from the City of Union, MO the other was a Franklin Co. Deputy. Just as I got up to them the craft started to move off to the north east at about a very fast running speed. The two officers got in their cars and started to chase the craft.

I was unable to keep up with the two officers. They where using their overhead lights. So, after a minute or so, I caught up to them. I got out of the truck again and walked up to the officers. The craft had stopped again about a mile up the road. As we were watching, the bright spotlight type lights in each corner came down to about 100 feet from the ground and stopped. No light beam touched the ground. We watched the craft for about 10-mins. Then the craft moved again. This time only about ½-mile and stopped again. After stopping and getting out to talk with officers again, I noticed the County officer was trying to talk to the dispatcher by two-way radio. I have a portable two-way radio with me and could not pick-up any radio traffic from the County or the officer in front of me.

I need to mention that the craft was directly overhead and about 500 ft. high. The craft was also the width of a football field. The sides in some parts of the craft where about 10-ft. at the corners and moved up to about 20-ft. in the center, making it curved on top and flat across the bottom. As this craft moved again all radio traffic returned to normal. We again could hear the dispatcher over in ILL talking.

As the craft moved off for the third time, the County officer looked at both of us and said “I another call pending” got back in to his car and drove off! So the Union office told me he was to far out of the city limits, “I don’t see a thing” and got back in his car, turned around on old Hwy. 100 and drove off. I watched the craft move off until I could not see the lights any longer. It was moving cross country and there were only private roads & driveways. I then got back into my truck and drove home.

At the second stop the county officer was trying to set his dash camera in the up direction, but it was bolted in and would not turn. I waited for weeks to see this story in the news paper or on the TV news, but no one file a report. Do to the fact I didn’t have a Police report to fall back on, I decided not to talk to anyone about this sighting. Now that I’m retired and this craft keeps showing up in Missouri, I thought I would bring this story to light. Hopefully, this will help out investigators in the future.

2 black hovering objects...approx 10k ft high..

Cooking on the grill in the yard. Thought I saw a black spot in my eye but after looking again, I ran inside and got my binoculars. I immediately saw clearly 2 objects, at the same height and seperated about 1 inch in my view. They were hovering stationary with a VERY slow movement to the west. From where I live, they were approx at a degree heading of 250deg( just slight north of my Dish which is at 240deg. I observed them, and had my 21 year old son also confirm the sighting with the binoculars. The objects were just barely visable without the 8x50 binos. We were both very convinced what we saw was not something natural.My best guess is that they were somewhere over the Watchung or Scotch Plains NJ towns. We were truly amazed as they 2 objects displayed some kind of unstable motion while hovering. They were clearly not balloons or airplanes. They disappeared into a cloud 15 minutes later. The really weird part is that what appeared to be a military style small jet, with 2 engines on the body between wings and tail appeared and circled the area 2 times and then in the reverse direction. My wife also witnessed the jet and it appeared that they either were observing or trying to locate the 2 objects that we saw.

A slow and steadily moving brilliant ball of light with no tail beam

My experience with an Unidentified Flying Object.

I didn’t realize there was such a place to report my experience, so I am writing this now after sixteen years. I have forgotten the exact date and time but will never forget the other details – the image and brilliance of this strange ball of light and the feeling that it was certainly not normal.

I was sitting on a couch chatting with my visiting father. At the time I was 32 years old and my retired Naval officer father (I mention that because my father is not prone to frivolity) was about 54. We have a 200 acre farm in rural West Virginia – very secluded and private.

The couch faced a wall of floor to ceiling windows overlooking a small mountain ridge and a pond. All of a sudden an enormous ball of light appeared – there was no beam – the light was consistent for the entire size of the “ball.” It looked like the sun but obviously a bit too close! It was clearly moving but at a very slow and controlled speed. It was not falling. ” My father and I have related the experience to people every now and again and frequently people will ask it might have been a meteor. We don’t think it was because of its slow controlled speed.

It passed out of sight after about 15 seconds. I called the police – but felt they wouldn’t take us seriously. I told the person who answered that I just felt like I should report it (I didn’t call it a UFO) in case they got other calls attesting to the same sighting.

Nothing ever came of it. My father and I, after all these years, both say that we certainly saw something that defies our ability to understand.

Saucer like craft followed me home from work and hovered over our home while my wife and I watched..

I was working from 3:00 PM until 11:00 PM at the Spartanburg SC Main Post Office. I live about 30 miles south of Spartanburg. On my way home from work, I spotted a bright object to the west. It did not look like a plane. It was traveling at a low rate of speed and seemed to be following me. I continued to see it until I pulled up into our driveway. It came and hovered over the front of our house and projected a bright beam that lit up our front lawn. The object was round and you could see light coming from around the top, like it may have had windows around the top. It didn't sound like a plane or a helicopter. It made a humming sound. I got out of my car and went to the door and called my wife. We watched it for at least 5 minutes.

When it left it seemed to just dart it was so fast. There was no increase in the sound of the humming when the craft moved. It could change direction in a split second.

I think I have seen one or two more of these craft, but it was at a much greater distance. I couldn't see them very good.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS WORKING ON BUT WHAT MY WIFE AND I SAW WAS ALMOST UNREAL. THEY MUST BE SAVING THIS THING FOR THE BIG BANG. THEY DON'T WANT ANYONE TO GET A HOLD OF IT AND FIND OUT HOW IT WORKS. I DON'T BELIEVE THEY ARE ALIENS.

A round circular craft with bright lights followed me home and hovered over my front lawn.

I was coming home from work in spartanburg, SC when I spotted what I thought was a plane traveling parallel to me, going in the same direction toward Union, SC. It seemed to have more light coming from it than just an ordinary plane. Believe it or not, it followed me all the way home, and hovered over our front lawn. It hovered at about 2000 feet, and cast a beam of light over our front lawn. The altitude of the craft could have been a little more or less.

I got out of my car and called my wife to the front porch. We stood and watched it for several minutes. It made very little noise. The only sound that came from it was a humming noise, and when it moved the humming did not seem to get any louder. The speed of it's movement was unbelievable. It seemed to move like a humming bird. It moved in any direction with ease. The top of the circular craft appeared to have windows 360 degrees with light protruding from them. I would estimate the diameter of craft to be between 20 and 30 feet. I called the local airport, and they wanted to write it off as national guard having maneuvers.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS: THAT THERE IS NO TELLING WHAT THIS COUNTRY HAS DEVELOPED! It did not sound like an airplane nor did it sound like a helicopter or any thing else that I have seen in the sky. I wish I had had a computer back then. We wanted to tell someone but didn't know how to get in touch with anyone.

At approximately 12:10a the witness left her brother's home in Beaufort Missouri returning to her home in Arnold, Missouri; a trip she had made many times before. There had been a bad storm earlier, the road was wet and she drove cautiously at about 35/40mph over Highway 50 East. She went through Union, about 11 miles from Beaufort, and was heading toward the Bourbeuse River Bridge, a steel truss bridge, when she saw a brilliant light approaching in her rear view mirror...

Before she could make an evasive move the car was hit. No sound was heard. Upon impact the car heated up, the windows fogged and the inside was bathed in light. The rear end was lifted. There was a vibration throughout. She could neither steer nor stop. She could see she was heading for the bridge,suddenly the car was dropped and she regained control. The light lifted over her car and disappear to the north. She crossed the bridge, got out, inspected the car, saw no damage,drove to the Arnold Police Dept. (Jefferson Co.). It was now approx. 1:40a. Arnold tells her to go back to Union. She got her husband and returned to Union. Union Police discover two shallow dents in the trunk lid about 22/24 in. apart, no other damage. A complaint is filed. Witness had aches, and bleeding from nose and ears after incident. Also remarked that weddings rings were off her hand and on front seat of car after incident. The witness later filed a claim with her insurance company for damages to the trunk lid. When asked what vehicle had hit her, she replied "UFO". They paid.

UFO over 5 Points, Union , NJ

We were 4 professional young adults, ages 22-25 ou on a quick grocery run to the A & P in a very busy location known as Five Points. We parked in the lot facing the store. One of us ran in to get the item, the rest remained in the vehicle/VW Camper.

We were sitting quietly waiting when suddenly the person in the front, passenger seat exclaimed, "Holy s--- , I see something coming up in the side view mirror and it ain't no plane!!"

We all said, "Huh, what?" Then, by that time we saw it, it was over then behind the store several hundred feet up.

We can best describe it as a perfect, seamless, metalic saucer with sequential white lights, almost like strobe lights flashing. The object was quiet, and hovered for quit a while. One of us ran into the store to get the 4th person. We checked people in the lot and saw many looking up too.

At one point the craft/UFO 's lights went off, another time ir flew up , high fast, then came down low. We actually thought it may land, but it always remained above the store roof, actually behind, but up, We watched it oo up and down, figured they were testing the craft by now....finally it just took off, went north east toward the Garden State Parkway, very low, then took off like you see in Star Trek. We were able to view it in the night sky though because of it lights. We could see it move east toward Newark Airport then in 3 sec west, it was like a star moving across the sky, making all sorts of sudden stops, right hand turns at 90 degree angles. Definitely seemed as if they were checking it out. We left the parkway when we no longer saw it.
