50+ ft drone in rural area?

At 23:30 I was headed home from work dring N on hwy 75. There were no cars driving my direction at that time, though street cleaning and police vehicles were stopped headed South. I noticed a green antenna like conglomeration in sky from a short distance, and upon driving almost under it, i could see it was hovering above (200ft approx) the exit for texoma parkway and hwy 75 N. Originally i thought it was a drone as it had green lights decorating each of the 'antenna filaments'; it also had two red lights. However, this object was as large as two full size helicoptors. It was massive! I circled back at next exit to try and capture photo and it was gone! I asked my coworkers the next day, and they said it must be some sort of military super-drone, though there are no bases anywhere in area, and city if Sherman could never afford something of this nature. Ive searched images online and no hits. What was it?? Stranger still, when i got home a few minutes later, ! i noticed my heated vest had turned itself off as well as my phone (always keep both on and they were on when i got into car to drive home)

My son and I was Flying a kite N there was somthing in the air.

It was blow clouds then it was like not moving at all then just went straight north an was moving real real fast like where if u blink it’s was gone an I couldn’t see it any longer. It’s was not real long are wife just like a tight little box an there was a wired sound in the air not like how things are like everything went quit all around us. No birds chirping are anything like that. Then after it was gone everything went back to normal an I was shaking an I’m still shaking.

I called a friend of mine an he told me how to reach this web site cause he two has seen things like this. I thought he wasn’t going to take me for real are any one else but there’s no reason for me to want to make this up I want to know what I just seen an if there’s going to be more of this. An I didn’t take picture cause it was hard for me to even move are think about anything it was like I was in a Trance are somthing. I’m just not sure of what I saw are what todo now about it.

This is the second time in 3 years that I've seen a UFO while driving on Hwy. 75 in Sherman, Texas.

This evening, at 7:15 P.M., heading south bound on Hwy. 75, nearing exit 56, I saw what appeared to be a strange, low lying cloud. It was above the tree lines and roughly 1/2 the size of an 18 wheeler. The formation was moving east at a strange pace.

I then noticed it start moving south at a faster pace and then move upward. I slowed down to watch it. It was at this time I saw the object lift upward again and then it vanished.

I have a degree in science and I am a retired Earth science teacher. I've never observed a cloud shaped like this one or move in this manner.

It was disk shaped, domed roof, charcoal grey and was the consistency of a cloud.

Airplanes flying into DFW were in the background in the same southeast direction. I was using the movement and speed of the planes in the distance to compare the cloud/UFO.

Two orange balls in sky moving east to west about 5k feet up in sky.

Looking to east we saw two large orange lights in sky. Looked to be about height we would expect Helicopters to fly. They slowly moved west towards us then changed direction to the east. One of them went first then the other one changed direction. Speed of movement was similar to that of a Helicopter in search mode. I saw many helicopters when I lived in Ft. Campbell. I never saw them in night sky as orange balls of light.

unknown craft taunts airplane in night sky

I was outside walking dog, from the corner of my eye noticed something spinning in the northeastern sky above tree line. a normal airplane was flying north, while an unknown bright circular light was spinning around the airplane from head to tail perpendicularly. the bright light was very fast, it circled around the plane for about 5-10 seconds, disappeared for 10 seconds while the normal airplane continued its journey north. all of a sudden the white bright circular light shot out of the atmosphere at a roughly 40-50° angle from where the ufo and aircraft had orginally made contact. and I know this because from where I was standing they were inbetween the constellations Puppis and Canis Major.

4 staggered discs in sky

I was heading down highway 75 at the town borders of Howe and Sherman. The clouds covered the sky and varied from white to gray in color. As a science teacher I was looking closely at the clouds due to all the recent and pending storms.

After glancing up and down for awhile, I noticed four disc shaped objects in a staggered form. It looked like someone had used a pencil and marked the sky.

These objects were far off and in a westerly direction, but probably over the oklahoma area. The front three were metallic and the fourth was transluscent.

As I kept glancing at the objects they just disappeared or faded out. I never saw them moving…

weird big balloons trailing large airplanes

Watching airlines moving 60 miles northeast from DFW Airport, 2 planes both followed by circular objects. first one red in color, the second one blue. Too high up to be just a "gift" balloon, Too big to be a 'gift" balloon, Both were same size and from my vantage point, guestimated size to be larger than a 55 gallon barrel. If they were just balloons they were huge ones!

Sherman Sighting 4/14/04 - RECTANGLE craft, orange "reflective"

Craft seemed to "shimmer" as it passed.

Thought at first it was a late night bird flying at a great height which caught the lights of the parking lot mercury vapor lights, but the craft began to speed up as it passed overhead.

Craft was rectangle with slightly rounded edges on the narrow ends.

Craft passed in a straight line from SSW to NNE.

There was no noise and no other phenomina associated with the sighting.

Light started out as bright green, simular to what would be seen with a Green LED or electrical spark changing 1/2 way through the movement into a pure white back for about 2 seconds, back to green.

Bright Greenish in color object in Sherman / Denison area

I am a security officer at a local mall.

While on patrol of the exterior of the facility heading East across the facility parking lot, I noted a bright light out of the peripheral of my vision to the North and East of my location.

The light while in my peripheral vision appeared at first to me as a "flair" in its intensity but the unusual movement and speed is what caught my attention and I turned my head to face the source.

I observed a brief but bright greenish in color light, similar to what would be seen with an electrical arc.

There was a well defined width to the trail much larger than what would be seen in a meteorite and no deterioration of the object as it traversed the sky.

The object passed from my vantage from the South South-East to the North North-West starting at about a 60 degree angle in the direction I was looking in and covering a track to the horizon in which it disappeared.

The duration of the event took only a few seconds from the time I began to watch the event to the time which it disappeared from my sight.

Chrome appearance; slow moving

The craft sighted was a featureless cigar-shaped design. The hull had the appearance of very smooth polished chrome. It was flying low and far too slowly- silent, no engine noise whatsoever. This was viewed by two witnesses at Brushwood Folklore Center looking to the North in the distance.

The witnesses looked away from the craft for a moment of conversation, then found the craft had completely left the area. Event duration was about 45 seconds.

Within the next 48 hours, another camper insisted on having seen a blue oval craft there. I believe him- having seen one myself there the year before. Connection?

Sherman, TX. Police Officers and People in Neighborhood See UFO Flying Above Power Lines (Please do not share my identity, email, etc. with anyone.) (I am unsure of exact date, time, and duration.)

My husband & I heard the following, on the police scanner we have.

Officers from the "Sherman Police Department" (Sherman, TX.) were dispatched to a neighborhood, because their were sightings of something "strange" in the air.

One officer said, "Does this sound for real?" Someone (I think the dispatcher) said, "That neighborhood is a very good neighborhood. Those people wouldn't be calling if there wasn't something there." (She said it was the "(?something) HILLS" addition.

We heard the responses of the officers as they arrived. They were VERY excited and a female officer said, "My GOD !!! What IS that thing. I have never seen anything like this before in my life. It's moving just above the power lines." The officers were then talking back and forth (I guess to the dispatcher.) Then, a man came on and said in a very quick, firm voice, "Cease talking NOW!!!!!!" Everything went quiet. (We think they may have gone to a different frequency or something, so they couldn't be heard.

`````````` Shortly after filing the above report, I remembered that the name of the addition that the police dispatcher stated over the police scanner was: a word that was a "directional" name.

i.e., the first word, before HILLS addition" was (either, Western, Northern, Southern, Eastern) There is a "WESTERN HILLS addition" in Sherman.

(As far as I am aware, and have been able to find, there is NO, Northern Hills addition, Southern Hills addition, or Eastern Hills addition.

And, being a local (I live in Denison, which is right next to Sherman. I was born and raised in Denison, and I am (about) 55 years old. So in other words, I have been a local for a very long time and I am very familiar with the street names and addition (subdivision) names, of Sherman, as well.) I am quite certain that the name the police stated was: "WESTERN HILLS addition".

(It is also worth noting that, she said: "That is a very nice neighborhood.") "WESTERN HILLS addition", (which is, west, of downtown) is the "newer" addition, in Sherman.

(The other areas in Sherman, areas in the north, south, east , these areas are close to the downtown area, and they are the "older" part of Sherman.

(That is where the "older" homes are.) "WESTERN HILLS addition" (The homes are newer in that area, and, having gone down some of the roads in that area before, I am aware that some of the paved streets in that housing addition, are "hilly".) I am quite certain (actually, very certain), that the sighting(s) occurred at the "WESTERN HILLS addition" (The reason I did not catch the "first" word she stated is: I was not expecting to hear a report regarding, "something "strange" in the air being seen by people living in the neighborhood." (Had I known, that was what I was "about" to hear, I'm sure I would have paid more attention to what the "first" word was, that the police dispatcher stated.) But I did recall, that the first word she called the subdivision was, the same word as a, "directional" name.

(western, or northern, or eastern, or southern) As far as I am aware, there isn't even another addition(subdivision) in Sherman, that even has word, "HILLS" in it.

Except for: "WESTERN HILLS addition" 1. I know for a fact that the police dispatcher stated, "(something) HILLS addition" 2. I later recalled that the first word she stated was, the same as a "directional" name.

(So, was either: Western, Eastern, Southern, Northern) (I have never heard of a eastern hills addition, southern hills addition, northern hills addition, in Sherman.) But I have heard of (and am familiar where the area is), of: "WESTERN HILLS addition".

4. Police dispatcher stated: That the "(something) HILLS addition", "is a nice neighborhood.

Those people wouldn't be saying there was something there, if there wasn't." "WESTERN HILLS addition", are newer built homes (than in the other areas of Sherman, the older parts.

Eastern, northern, southern parts of the city.) Everything points to: Where the sighting(s) occurred at was: "WESTERN HILLS addition" (Like I said, I am familiar with the different parts of Sherman.

I know what the houses look like in that area, but to give you an estimate of what the houses go for over there, on a realty site, it lists some for 173,000; 200,000(something); etc.) It is a, "nice neighborhood" (phrase the police dispatcher used, in her statements over the police radio.)

(I am aware that many years ago, there were numerous sightings of UFOs in Sherman,TX. and surrounding areas. The "Perrin Field Air Force Base" used to be in Sherman, TX. This base trained 17 astronauts. (Including Neil Armstrong, and many other well-known astronauts.) I cannot begin to tell you how excited those officers were when they saw whatever it was. (I only wish I'd been there to see it for myself...I think. I still wonder what it looked like.) I wish you could get the story from those officers, and people living in that neighborhood.

Light Blue Oval over Campground

I was attending an outdoor festival (at the Brushwood Folklore Center)in an area so rural that the Amish live nearby. The sky was clear, stars shining, etc. and the mood was upbeat. I (sober) first saw something seem to rise in the distant North horizon. A circle-shaped ball of amber light was directly below it, but flickered out after about four seconds. I called out to anyone who would look- a light blue oval was shooting across on an exactly straight path overhead. No one could ID it, elongated and about the size of a dime held at arm's length. It went, still glowing into the Southern horizon and not making sounds, although there was a sound system in the area. This is my second sighting; it wasn't as shocking this time... I'm still angry about not being told a straight story.

Me: I think I saw a streak or some sort of flashing that lasted for an unimaganably small amount of time (I saw this part out of the corner of my eye as my friend pointed).it stopped, and was a yellow white light moving slowly downward and away, dropping down in 2-3 steps. It was moving to the east as this happened. The mostion was extremly smooth, and it wwas perfectly silent. At first I thught It was a firework od the sort that shoots in the air and comes down on a parachute, but it dropped in several short, quick bursts, unlike the glide of a parachute. Its possible that someone was flying a kite with a light abd propeller attached, but it looked to be at least the altitude of a short range private aircraft, and there wasnt any wind on the ground and it moved too fast. I dont think this is outside the scope of an elaborate hoax, but if it was a hoax it was a pretty fucking good one (it also must have been moving away if it was as high as it looked because it disapeared behind the treeline. my friend:I was looking over the shoulder of my freind and I happen to see a star like object yet much brighter.I slowly watched this object move in the northeast to the east. As i watched I lost site of it over the trees.
