Approximately 8:05pm at dusk, V shaped with no center body, above the cloud deck, moving NNW to SSE, crossed the horizon in roughly 3-4 seconds. No marker lights, dark in color, sun still illuminated the upper atmosphere so it stood out against the light. I’m in the takeoff flight path of MSP so I’m very knowledgeable of commercial/ military aircraft, this was neither.

Screaming object flies under hovering drone at unbelievable speed!

Had my drone hovering over a hot spot for this type craft and of course another flies by! I have several videos of these types of objects, and have no idea what they could be, but you can bet they arent ours ! This one has designs on top of it, not sure what they are of or what they mean, your guess is appreciated. As I said I have many of these objects on video, so if this one draws interest I may put up a few more.

I was just flying my drone over the waterway in Burnsville and noticed nothing unusual until later on when going through videos.

Left of water. left of roadway and over the trees. Object seems to turn towards my drone and seems to get really close to it. I only know it is extremely fast and seems to put off an aura. After seeing this I began looking through my other drove videos. and I am now finding several flying objects not at the waterway in the town of Burnsville but over my house which in in the country among 20,000 pretty much uninhabited acres. If you're interested in these other videos let me know. These seem to be more "orb like" than the object in this video, which seems to be X shaped and also seems to rotate as if flies kind of like a boomerang rotates. Again this is hard to tell because of the speed.

I was returning by the Pkw 13 at 11:45 pm in a south-west direction and I saw in the suspended sky a formation of lights perfectly aligned in a circular way, the sky was cloudy but I do not know if it was a single object or if they were several in formation, I have the impression that it was a single object perfectly suspended, located very high without initial displacement, then began to move maintaining the same distance between the lights that made it up. The event lasted at least 5 minutes while I was traveling in the same direction.

Seen three bright circular objects flying in triangular formation

Got home from work around 3:30am. Decided to unwind on my back deck. Happened to look up while Star gazing. While doing so I happened to spot three very bright circular objects moving slowly across the sky in a triangle formation like nothing I’ve EVER seen before. These objects proceeded to hover over my house for about five minutes while I watched in PURE confusion, giving what I was witnessing. They all would move slowly back and forth over my house. If I had to guess these objects were just inside our atmosphere or right above it. Then one by one they took off and disappeared literally in the blink of an eye! LITERALLY! Like speed of light fast. But before they took off/disappeared they would slowly move back and forth before they did. I haven’t come forward until now giving how talking about something like this, or even claiming to have witnessed they unexplained, usually brings scrutiny and skepticism. Folks also would’ve thought I was crazy or super tired. But I wasn’t, I was way too wired to be tired. I was also sober as a whistle. I also didn’t know how to report something like experienced or that you even could. My regret from that night was being in too much of a shock to pull my cell phone out to record. I still don’t believe what I saw myself still to this day.

U.F.O. Sighting at my home June 6, 2017 time: 15:45, (3:45 pm) Object description: disc shaped with apparent dome, bright shiny metallic, highly polished surface like chrome. The disc appeared to be about 100' in diameter.

There were no lights or markers, and no sound, no con trail from the object. Looked like a giant flying chrome hardhat! Weather: clear sky, one cloud, small cumulus to the SW., temp 72 deg. f.

Note; the afternoon sun was bright and illuminated the object perfectly Observation: object traveling from the North East toward South West, observed in Eastern sky initially. The disc was in a right banked constant speed turn.

I estimated the speed at 500-600 knots, altitude above ground 2500',(AGL), my elevation here is approximately 3000' (MSL).

The actual distance between myself and the object was less than one half mile,(1/2 mi.) The disc flew in a slight arc was observed by me for about 10-20 seconds and disappeared into the only cloud in the sky, I did not see it reappear on the backside of the small cloud an do not comprehend why this was not observed by me.

While traveling east on Highway 19, I was observing a lightning storm slightly north of the highway. Approximately 2 miles west of Burnsville, NC, I observed a disk shaped craft, illuminated by the flashes of lighting. I only saw the craft once, I searched the sky several more times, but was unable to spot the craft again. At arm's length the craft was at least the size of a quarter, probably 800-1000 ft high and was extremely shiny. I cannot say about sound as I was driving at the time.

Plume of white mist descending at a 45 degree angle, lasting 10 minutes and dissipated.

I'm in my car ready to leave Costco and and I happen to look up and see a plume of white mist- almost like a contrail, descending in a downward trajectory at a 45 degree angle. It moved fairly quick. The white mist had a very long tail. I looked for a plane but couldn't find any aircraft in the area.

I sat in my car and watched this object move very slow and deliberate. At times it seemed as if it would pause and then start moving again. The cloud cover was infrequent and what clouds there were, were wispy. I saw the object pause several times and it seemed like it slowed down. As the object descended downward the contrail- or whatever it was, seemed to decrease and the tail became smaller until it was almost indistinguishable from the object. It paused before going through a wispy cloud. I sat and waited until it came through the cloud but it never appeared again. There was no debris. One minute it was there and the next it was gone. And the contrail ceased to exist. The entire incident lasted approximately 10 minutes.

Red spherical object seen moving against the breeze with white light on bottom.

Perhaps the best fireworks that I will see tonight. At 21:15, 9:15 PM, driving home on county Road 11, above a hill at the highest point on my route north back home I saw a bright red light. Originally with the air traffic from MSP I was expecting an aircraft of some sort. At about 130th street I was able to better make out the object and saw no other running lights, which aroused my interest. The object was about the speed of a light plane and continued changing the observation angle to the point where I was directly under it. It was round with no appendages. The outer edges of the object were a dark red and the object was an increasingly brighter red toward it's center. There was a bright white light in the center which varied from very bright to much less so.

I saw this object while I traveled 3/4 mile at 40 mph and it crossed from my right front to overhead and to my rear in that time. It crossed my line of sight going into trees. It was no higher than 500 feet in my estimation, steady in that elevation and by reconsidering my positions on a map it was traveling to the South-SouthWest, against the reported breeze from the South. It was 5 to 8 feet in diameter if its elevation was 500 feet, proportionally greater if higher in elevation. It was sharp and distinct when seen closer and especially when it was directly overhead.

Total time of the observation was about 45 seconds. This was just after sunset with cloudy skies. I had two cameras with me, shame on me for not stopping and trying to grab a picture, or two.

Conventional explanation seems limited to a balloon flare but the object was going against a light, but prevailing breeze. With many people out on the Fourth looking at fireworks, some kind of balloon drone combination would have to be considered too. But that is if one needs to find a conventional explanation.

Bright Star Like Shape with red and green blinking lights.

This could be nothing but I was looking out our large picture window at almost midnight of April 10, 2014. I noticed what looked like a very bright star in the NE sky.

Then I noticed red and green blinking lights every so often so then I thought it must be a plane. This object never moved, however; just hung in the sky with intermittent blinking red and green lights ever so faint.

I watched this for about 15 minutes and this object moved very slightly left to right but usually settled back in its original spot. I can only think satellite or weather balloon, but truly have no idea.

I blinked my eyes many times and looked away from this object to make sure I was not imagining anything. Looking at the stars in the sky, they were much fainter and certainly did not have green and red lights flashing.

I thought maybe it was an illusion of clouds dancing off the bright star, but the other stars did not have any clouds affecting them nearby, so that theory was shot.

Again, I do not know what it was and maybe it was a satellite or weather balloon, but I felt it worth reporting.

Green ball of light cruised across sky

I am a middle-aged professional male. I was alone, so as far as I know, I was the only witness.

This sighting occurred while I was driving home from work this evening, at approximately 5:15pm. I was traveling in a SW direction, and the light that I saw was traveling in about the same direction as I was. My sunroof was open and I would say that I had about an 80 degree arc of sky that I could see.

What I saw was a distinctly green light. It moved very fast. Much faster than an airplane, but not so fast as a meteor streak off of the atmosphere.

The light was also relatively large. I would say approximately 1/10 the size of the full moon at peak height.

The light moved from behind me to in front of me, across the full range of sky that I could see, in about 5 seconds.

It did not leave a trail of any kind.

2 Fireballs Hovering Side by Side Moving Slowly then Vanished

My girlfriend (at the time, now wife) and I decided to take a walk after dinner around Sunset Pond in Burnsville in the evening. We finished our lap around the pond and decided to sit at the bench together and chat.

About 50 yards from us along the walking path, two fireballs about the size of a basketball appeared about 5 feet above ground and moved in sync together slowly parallel with the walking path for about 15 seconds. No sound. And then it vanished.

We were startled and immediately got in the car and left.

Noiseless hovering craft. Clearly responed to human proximity. Witnessed for over an hour. Video footage.

The event took place in a heavily populated area and was witnsessed by two people. The craft was watched for half an hour before one of the witnesses took a video.

The craft was very oddly shaped with only one light shining at first. As one witness tried to get closer the craft moved away and many more lights became visible.

The craft hovered over a house for several minutes and was noiseless.

It also moved away at breakneck speeds disappearing over a mountain before returning to hover over the same house only minutes later.

I personally have seen the video and have no rational explanation for what the craft may be.

Orange light moved effortlessly through cloudy night sky, flickered, and vanished.

I was in my backyard playing catch with my younger brother Thanksgiving night, when a bright orange light in the sky caught my eye. It was a cloudy night, and I could see the difference of density as the light moved through them.

In the thin sections, the light didn't seem to emit any glare. It was as if I was looking into a source of light, rather than the having the light shine outward. The movement was fluid and sporadic, unlike anything I've ever seen before.

After about 30 seconds of unearthly flight, it came to a hover. I witnessed the light dim until it was barely in sight, then return to its original brilliance. It did this three or four more times, and then vanished. The event matched many encounters I've read about prior to witnessing one with my own eyes. Truly amazing.

The Mothership and its Orb

I went to let my dog out in the back yard as I was waiting I noticed an orb in the sky which seemed to be circling the area of my back yard but it was way up in the sky. At first I thought it might be the spotlight from Mystic Lake, but I was wrong because it wasn't a beam of light it was an orb.

I ran in the house to get my roomate to see and he said him and his friend seen the same thing a few nights ago. Then he looked to the west and hovering just above the neighbors trees was a huge object which my roomate commented was the Mothership and thats exactly what it looked like.

The orb itself was a light white greenish color and round the "Mothership" had faded lights all around it and a green hue behind it. I have never seen anything so spectacular in my life!

We watch for about 10 mins and the orb just kept circling and the "Mothership" just stayed hovering. I went back out about an hour later and they were both gone---

Glowing silverish sphere type object, with bright swirling, varying illumination. Sphere appears quite often.

While I go outside regularly to smoke a cigarette, my wife usually joins me. Her and I have seen an object East of where we live. As I try to keep an eye on whatever it is, it moves in uniform. However, I checked the times of this objects appearance, for it only seems to appear around 11PM to 12AM.

Furthermore, this object doesn't seem to be an airplane, because, it is stationary. When it does decide to move, it moves like no helicopter I've seen. It moves in a darting motion, for an instant stopping hover. There seems to be no noise but, the object it quite far East of where we are located.

As I have been very interested in aircraft, this object seems to be nothing of this world. But, it has lights that look to sparkle like a stars glowing twinkle. At a distance, I thought it were to be an aircraft because, it looks like the lights that glow from it could be red and green. However, what makes me believe this to be no standard aircraft is the way it moves.

I have a feeling it could be a military experiment, for it appears at the same time, several nights out of the week. I have just started documenting sightings because; I see this object quite often. My wife has also witnessed this object, and pointed it out to me. As I have seen this object before, just never mentioned it to her because, I didn’t want her to think I was a crazy person.

Appearance times are: 11 PM-12 AM, East of Burnsville, NC.

Object description: The object is a circular shape, like looking at a floating ball.

Color: Looks like a silver ball, bright swirling illumination (Lights could be; red, green, orange, white). The object’s color is too difficult to see without a telescope, and or binoculars. However, object can be seen VERY clearly, to know it’s there.

Changin Lights in the Sky!

We are in the Black Mountains of Western North Carolina.My wife and I were walking east to west around 8 pm . we saw a bright color changing light in the north/west sky. It was the brightest thing in the sky. a little bigger than the brightest star.8:00 PM we arrived home and viewed the object with binoculars for 15 minutes. It changed from red to white to green and seemed to change shape at times.We phoned our friends, about 6 miles to the west of us ,thinking they would be closer to the object.They observed the object as we did. We stayed on the phone with each other for a few minutes conferming what we were seeing. We saw the same thing . 15 minutes later it ''blinked '' out , gone. it is a cold clear night . planes flying around the area. This object seemed stationary.

Hovering Object Near Cliff Rd/Portland Ave S

I was traveling into work a little before 10pm and exited 35W onto Cliff Rd traveling east in Burnsville. Up ahead over the tree line I saw what looked like a falling star, only it was a blue ball falling towards the ground in a zig-zag motion. It fell out of my sight. I went around an "S" curve in the road and then was heading east again up the hill. After I rounded the curve the object was again in my site, directly up ahead. As I drove closer (less than a mile from where I initially saw it) I could see it more clearly. I could see that it was moving slowly approximately 500-1000ft in the air. As I got to the top of the hill near the intersection of Cliff Rd and 12th Ave. S, the object was very close, to the north and almost directly above me. I slowed down (there were no other cars around), I rolled my window down to get a better look. The object had a bright white light, and also a green and red light depending on which way it faced. At the top! of the hill I turned left onto 12th Ave S. and could still see the object to the west of me, still very close, moving very slowly or possibly stationary. About a minute later I arrived at work and got another coworker to come outside. We both watched the object in the same location for several minutes before going back inside. There is an Xcel Energy plant directly below where I believe the object was hovering. The object was moving very slowly and occasionally in a hovering circular motion. There was no sound detected. A third co-worker also saw the object on his way in at the same time. We went back out about 15 minutes later and the object was gone.

very fast.

it was a oval shape that was about 4x of the moon. it happend at around 10:43pm. it was roughly 200ft in front of me. it was about 150ft above the rest of the houses. it had 5 lights. 1 blue. 2 bright white. 2 blueish greenish lights. it had no end to the shape of it. it came and went in about 4 to 5 seconds then vanished.

Triangle object object seen over burnsville 5:25 am

It was dark so I could not definitively determine the exact shape but as it passed over I saw an arrangement of lights that I have never seen befor on any known flying craft. The yellow/orange lights were in the form of a triangle along the perimiter with a flashing red/white light center or closer to the trailing edge. The craft was large and produced no sound. Its direction was north east toward the mpls airport but then changed direction to north west toward plymouth.

3 sets of 3 lights hovering silently in night sky

I regret not finding your site and filing this as soon as this happened, but better late than not.

At about 9:30 on a mid-October night in 2010 while walking my dog, I noticed lights in the southeast sky from our front yard. I regularly observe the night skies and am familiar with the usual constellations at different times of the year, and follow the movements of planets as well. I live outside of Burnsville, NC, in a very rural area with little light pollution, and the night sky was clear.

What I saw were three sets of lights, each set arranged as three points of an equilateral triangle, and those arranged as a triangle. The lights were not blinking, two, maybe three of them had a greenish color. They were low on the horizon, I detected no solid shape associated with them. Most unusual was the three sets of lights moved, slightly up and down, with respect to each other. I tested this by positioning myself in a place in the yard where I could align the top of a hemlock tree (stationary in a breeze-less night) to a set of lights, which definitely moved with respect to the treetop. I detected no sound, nor was able to perceive how far away they were.

After watching this for one minute, maybe more, I rushed inside the house to get my wife and daughter to see it, and by the time they were alerted and out, the lights were gone, not visible anywhere else in the sky. I regret not waiting to see how they disappeared.

Having watched the night sky where I live for many years, seen the ISS several times, seen comets, a bolide, assorted aircraft, I’d never witnessed lights like these and the fact that they moved was compelling.

Orbiting light spheres and gold lights in boomerang shape

I went out on my deck,which overlooks 1+ acres of woods in sunurb of Burnsville, off Burnsville Pkwy and Cty Rd 5 at about midnight. Between the treetops and above, clear sky view, I spotted 2 large orbs of white light, rapidly circling each other in a large circle, about the size of a football field. The sky was completely covered by dense clouds and the light circles were quite visible. They never waivered from their distance from eachother, but did move sideways from time to time. It resembled a planet with an orbiting planet....not an irregular path.

I watched for several minutes and then started to take photographs with my digital camera and flash. I could see nothing in the view window after they were taken, but kept shooting. Suddenly, several gold orbs or lights appeared in an arc shape, appearing to flash or move.

Then the clouds completely went away, revealing a totally clear sky with lots of stars. In an instant, the lights just vanished. One of the photos I have sent has been lightened and set to very high contrast, to show the area was above the treetops. No city lights, just sky.

At first, I thought it might be advertising beams shooting into the air, but it started at midnight and there were no beams back to earth. I called the police and they had no reports and no knowledge of any promotional beamed lighting in the area. I thought it might be northern lights or lightening, but it had a very set and regular pattern path. The gold lights were not visible to the naked eye when there was cloud cover,but the early photos showed them.

Star-like, color changing triangle shape object

My outside dog began barking around 0130 am as he has done the last couple nights, which is unusual for him. Determined to find out what was causing this commotion I began looking out my windows. I saw what appeared to be a blinking "star" at first. Then it began to change shape like a white inner ball with intermittent red and blue lights forming a triangle around it. I woke up my son to see this object. It moved gracefully up and down and from side to side. I put new batteries in my digital camera and went out on the porch to try and photograph it. Snapped one shot not catching the object and the camera flashed the battery symbol and went off.Then is when I noticed what appeared o be two lights on the bottom of the object. My cell phone camera would not pick up the object. My inside cat and dog were going crazy! We watched this for over 25 minutes and then I went to get my husbands binoculars and when I found them and came back to the window it was gone. T! here was no noise at all; the whole time. Then my pets went back to normal and I watched the rest of the night but seen nothing else.

UFO lights over Minnesota River in Burnsville that resemble the Phoenix lights.

I am a female and I'm 26 years old. My brother who is the other witness is 19 years old. I have seen UFO's before, but nothing like this. It was about 7:15pm, the sun was down, but it was still a little light out. I was driving back home on 35W with my brother and I noticed a bright light in the sky. I'm so used to seeing jets and airplanes around here, I know what they look like in the sky, but this light was much different. Well as we were getting closer to home I noticed another light, then a couple seconds later another one appeared and I noticed they all formed a weird triangle formation. Well trees got in the way and I couldn't see the UFO's any more. Well about ten minutes later my jaw just dropped to the floor, because I saw five lights all spaced out equally and they were in a slight V-shape formation. Right away I thought of the Phoenix Lights, because I do remember what they looked liked. Now I knew these had to be UFO's and I got all excited. I told my brother to look and I told him that there is no way that those are jets, because they were too close together. My brother was just as amazed as I was and he wanted to take some pictures, so we took our exit and went straight to this service road that brought us closer to the lights. We pulled in a parking lot since it was uphill and we could get a better view. I noticed two other lights as I pulled into the parking lot but they were not part of the formation. We got out of my car and I took a couple pictures with my cellphone. We were facing north and we could see Downtown Minneapolis from where we were. The UFO's were hovering above or at least along the banks of the Minnesota River, it was hard to tell. The whole formation was about a mile across. That's my best guest. I noticed that there was one UFO that was brighter than the rest and it was right in the middle. The color was a very bright golden-white. I could see three seperate lights from that UFO, but the lights were so bright it looked like one. The rest of the UF! O's were n't as bright as this one, but they were of the same color. The UFO's didn't move forward or backwards. They just stayed there for five minutes or so and then they moved up or down, but just a little bit. We watched them for about 20mins and the formation changed a couple of times. Then all of a sudden one UFO that was on end of the right side moved out of formation and was moving slowly toward us. On this UFO I could see that it also had about three lights. I almost thought it was a airplane because of it's size, but then the lights weren't flashing and it looked like a boomerang? My brother got scared thinking that we were going to get abducted by this UFO and he wanted me to drive out of there. We got back in the car and I drove back home. I wanted to go back there and take better pictures with my digital camera. We only live five minutes from the parking lot, so I figured we would have some time to see them again. I got the camera and we went back to the parking lot. Sure enough they were still there! The time was around 8pm and there were just four lights. Now the brightest of the UFO's, the one in the middle drifted off and did it's own thing for a minute or so and then it went back to the middle again. I used my camera to take some pictures, but it came out crappy. I also video taped it, but that didn't come out as nice either. After I felt I couldn't get any good pictures from where we were, I decided to drive closer. I went back to 35W going north and as I was crossing the Minnesota River I looked to my right and I could see the UFO that was once in the middle of the formation, the really bright UFO I mentioned before. Since I was closer to the UFO I could see that the color of the light was a super bright white, the brightest light I have ever seen in my life. The best way I can describe the brightness is that it was like stadium lights. It also was hovering very low near the river. To me it looked like it was searching for something, because it was so low. I later heard from my mom that some t! ime in t he afternoon some people around the Twin Cities reported a metallic or flaming ball in the sky and some reported hearing a loud boom. My other brother has told me that some UFO's appear during or after a meteor?? 50 silver irridescent diamond shaped objects in the formation of a wide awkward heart that blinked in and out of view in MN

I was driving in my car down 35E going towards the Twin Cities and I saw many silver irredescent-like, almost diamond shaped objects high in the sky that were clustered in a formation that almost looked like a very wide awkward heart. They looked like they were not moving, except for the fact that they were "blinking" in and out of view. A comparison that I could make is that of the scene in the movie Superman when the bad guys were floating in space in aa flat glass that was spinning --only in this case when they looked like they would start to spin or flutter they would disapear in thin air-all of them at once. Then they reappeared in the exact same formation, looking exactly the same and would flicker for about 10 seconds-until they disapeared again. This flickering in and out happened about 4 or 5 times--then I didnt see them again. It was a clear day-only a few clouds in the sky--and they were so clear and so precise in its repeating formation.

My background-is Im a 29 year old female. Im in college studying Sociology and Physics, and I have two young kids. At the time it was happening --I called my boyfriend Marcus and was explaining to him what I was seeing. There were other drivers on the road that seemed oblivious to what I was seeing--but I KNOW IT WAS REAL. I dont know what on this planet would do that and act like it did--I have never seen anything like it in my life!!

At 7:45 pm est 11/29/05 ,(one hour ago) I was standing on my deck which faces south. I happened to look up in the south sky I noticed a grouping of lights moving across the sky, moving east to west through our valley. They were dull lights and the object seemed to blend with the dark sky background .It moved in total silence .I listened for a moment and could hear nothing. It looked as if it was 200-300 yards up ,about the size ,if you hold 3 fingers horizontal at arms length in front of you .

1.) Let me correct the Burnsville ,NC sighting reports I made. On the first report the hour time is 19:45 hours on the update the day date is 11/29 . thank you 2.)Today I heared of a second sighting in Burnsville, NC on 11/29/05.

I was in Appalachian Java, a little coffee shop we have on Main street. I met a friend I hadn't seen for a while and started telling (yet again) about the event of the 29th,when the owner of the shop offers that another person was in a couple of weeks ago saying ,her sister saw somthing also. He told me her name and after returning home I made contact with the sister and her husband. this is what he told me; he came home soon after dark.

After a ''short while'' (didn't mention the time) he went to the car for something, he noticed a group of lights different (bright white and red) in the sky moving in strange patterns the sky. The lowest being 10 degrees above the horizen (he said ,that one being in the direction of my house ). His wife brought binoculars from the house and he tryed to focus on the crafts, but he said they didn't seem to ''hold a shape''.

His wife lost interest after about a minute . He watched them for about 5 minutes until the last one ,the one in the direction of my house, ''faded'' from view.

IT MOVED INTO AN UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW AS IT MOVED FROM EAST TO WEST .ABOUT 300 YARDS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF AN OLD PASTURE, ABOUT LEVEL VIEW OFF MY DECK IS A ROW OF TALL LOCUST TREES .BEHIND THE TREES IS A DIM LIGHT FROM A STREET ANOTHER 200-300 YARDS AWAY .AS THE LIGHTS PAST INTO THE CLEARING ,THE LOCUST DID NOT OBSCURE THE LIGHTS ,AS THE APPLE TREE DID.I COULD MAKE OUT A FAINT LINE OF A CRAFT BETWEEN THE TWO END LIGHTS .THERE WERE 2 DIMMER LIGHTS ,ONE ABOVE THE OTHER IN THE MIDDLE . Fireball in the sky while viewing Mars 10/31/05

My husband and I were getting the telescope setup to view Mars. The sky was very clear, there were no lights since we are in the mountains.

We hadn't completed the setup yet, but we were looking at Mars when we both saw a bright fireball, from our perspective it was about 6" down and 4" to the right. The fireball was traveling N to S we assumed it was space junk or a satellite, because it had a fire trail behind it.

The fireball went out several seconds after it appeared, but the burning trail lasted for a couple of minutes.

With the naked eye we saw blue and white colors only.

Was this just a satellite? We haven't been able to find any info about it.

We were parked at the top of a state park in a parking area on Mount Mitchell in North Carolina. My sister and I were sitting in a parked car, while our mother was finishing her hike. We could see across a valley onto the next mountain. We could see the trail that people were walking up. We could see the people as they were hiking up that trail.

A light orb hovered up the mountain in a fashion unlike the people. It went to a ledge and hovered for around 10-15 seconds. After that it went to the top peak of the mountain and shot off at an extremely fast speed.

I saw a diamond-shaped silver object hovering with little to no motion in the southward sky.

In a clear sky, I saw one silver object glistening in the sunlight that looked diamond-shaped. It appeared to hover without any motion. I looked for blinking lights like on airplanes, but saw none. I was in Burnsville, MN looking at it in a southward sky. Since I was driving my car at the time, I couldn't stop to get further details. Telescopic instruments would've been helpful! =)

Two star like objects accelerate and fade one after the other.

I was standing outside in my backyard, which faces east, and was watching the sky as I usually do this time of evening. I noticed a very bright object about the size of the brightest star, which at first, was moving at an almost imperceptible speed. It was in the east, southeast part of the sky, at an angle of about 30 degrees. It accelerated north from its position, but always moving slower than a satelite, and faded out at about 5 degrees from its original position. I searched for the object for about 4 seconds when I noticed another object of the same magnitude a few degrees southwest of the first. It moved the same direction and speed as the first, and it also faded in the same manner and area as the first. Again, both objects seemed not to be moving at first, but accelerated about 5 degrees from their original positions and faded. Most satelites I watch travel well past 90 degrees at this time in the evening, and I've never seen 2 satelites travel this close to each other.

Enormous Rectangle object with rows of red and white lights

In either the spring or fall of 1983 or 1984 while driving down Highway 13 in Burnsville, MN I saw something unbelievable. It was approx between 8:30-9pm and I was driving eastbound on highway 13. I noticed through the upper right corner of my windshield HUGE lights. At first I thought it was a blimp because it was moving so slowly SW to NE. It was so odd that I pulled off the road so I could get a better look at it. There was a football game going on at the Burnsville high school and so I initially thought it was a blimp that was going to hover over the field with a display like the American Flag? But, it had rows of lights (one row of red the next row white with several rows) but after pulling onto the side of the road and I got a better look at it I saw there were only rows of red and white and it was a rectangle shape and wasn't a blimp. It was enormous, I'd have to guess it was close to the size of a football field at minimum. I remember wondering how it stayed afloat because it was moving so slow. So I rolled my window down so I could hear if there was any engine noise. There was possibly a faint hum at best, but it was hard for me to tell because cars were passing by and it wasn't quiet enough. I sat and watched it slowly move out of sight and there was one other car in front of me that had also pulled off the road. I never spoke to the person/s in the car in front of me, now I wish I would have so we could have shared observations.

I had been on my way to meet a group of friends at Burnsville Bowl, when I arrived they asked why I was so late. I remember looking at my watch, but since it's been so many years ago I cannot remember how late I was or how much time I was missing. I know I was confused because I had told them I saw some weird cool lights but had only sat on the side of the road for maybe 15 minutes.

I never reported the sighting because I was convinced that HUNDREDS of people would have seen the same thing I had because of it's size and slow speed and surely many people would call it in! I did faithfully watch the news for the next few days hoping I'd hear about it but never did. I'm regretful that I did not report the sighting then because now I cannot provide an accurate date or time. Now I think I understand why so few photographs exist, because while it was happening I was unable to take my eyes off of it and was completely mesmerized! I may not have an exact time/date, but I will not forget what I saw.

Small, bright-white light disappears into another larger, diffuse light (at sunset).

I am writing to you today to document what happened to me as a child (about 14yr of age).

It was a mostly sunny and warm day in summer. I climbed onto the top of my Dad's camper and was lying on my back, watching the sunset.

I noticed a small, bright, white, light moving west to east across the sky at a mediun, steady pace. Within seconds, a second light appeared to the east of, and slightly above, the first. This light was round and white, but many times larger than the first, and diffuse.

The first light continued moving east until it was directly below the second. There was a brief hesitation, then the first light shot straight up into the second. When the two lights came together, they both instantly disappeared.

I saw the same type of UFO at two different times in my life, once at age nine and again at age 30.

I saw the same type of UFO twice in my life. The first time I was nine years old. I had the habit of getting up very early in the morning.

One morning I got up around 5 a.m., I believe, looked out our picture window and saw it. It was a large round silver craft flying very low and slow. It had no windows or lights. Needless to say, I went back to bed very quickly!

The second time I was thirty years old and had my young daughter with me. She did not see the craft for some unknown reason. I had just gotten off work and was sitting in my car in the turnoff lane to go to McDonalds.

This day it was nearly 12 noon. On the right side of the highway there is a bank with a ridge of trees. The same type craft, large, round and silver suddenly appeared over those trees. Once again, it had no lights or windows.

It stopped right nearly directly over my car and hovered sort of like a helicopter and then it took off very fast! I thought that I would see it as I headed home. You know how fast a jet moves, even when it is flying very low? This thing had to have been AT LEAST 1000 times faster!

I didn't see it on the way home, nor did I ever hear anyone else say they had seen anything strange in town that day around noon.

I remember I was 9 years old and had the habit of getting up very early in the morning before anyone else. On this particular morning I was sitting on the couch looking out the picture window when I saw it...a round silvery white craft flying very slow and very low, maybe 20 yards in front of the house. It scared me so bad, I flew back to bed.

I saw the very same type craft 21 years later. I was 30, married, with one child and another on the way. I don't know why that seems significant. The time was around 12 noon on a Friday and I was sitting in the turn-off lane to go to McDonald's to get some lunch. I had my 3 year-old daughter with me. She saw nothing though. The craft flew over some trees on the side of the highway, seemed to stop directly over where I was, hovered a few seconds and then zoomed away at lightening speed, faster than a jet. I know that it was faster than a jet because I thought, I'll be able to see it when I get closer to my house. I never saw it anymore. It was gone. Funny thing, I asked around to see if anyone else saw anything strange in the town of Burnsville that Friday at 12 noon. Evidently I was the only one who saw it. Or anyone else would feel stupid admitting to seeing something like that.

But I know what I saw, both times.

The light that propelled it left a steam.

nothing more.

I could only see the craft because i could see the light, and the steam smoke! It was total steath!!!! I know because I could not see stars behind it, only around it.

No Sound, Nothing They saw Me, and I Saw Them! It was like a pea, a neiborhood light, and in one second it was on the trees.
