I started to hear weird humming noises and multiple aircrafts flying over head

I started to hear weird humming noises from outside followed by multiple aircraft noise. I thought it was some sort of car so I turned off any thing making noise in my apartment and went to my balcony with my dogs. My dogs immediately were growling at something I couldn't see. I tried to put a flash light from on my phone to see what they were growling at but saw nothing. They are extremely on edge at this point and that's when I saw multiple aircrafts going by but I couldn't tell if they were planes or helicopters but they sounded weird. Maybe military. Then I saw what I thought was an extremely bright round star but it started to occasionally blink a red light at the bottom and was what looked like to not be moving until I realized it was just very slowly. And that's when I realized it was HOVERING in the air. At first I thought it possibly could be a satellite or drone but there's no way with how it was moving and how HUGE it looked even from far away. When I continued to watch it slowly hovered away. My dogs and I are very freaked out especially with what I thought was also at LEAST 6 military aircrafts.

We saw a large disc shaped craft with three levels of windows. It hovered silently and then disappeared into thin air.

I was working at Red Rocks Amphitheater last night when one of our coworkers suddenly said to us, "Hey, what is that over there? It looks like a spaceship." We all turned to look in the direction he was pointing and sure enough, there was a UFO hovering about a half a mile to a mile north of red rocks. A dozen of us saw it. We all kept asking each other, "Are you seeing this too?" It was a resounding "yes" from everyone in the group.

What we saw was a classic disc shaped metallic craft that was several hundred yards long. It had three levels of windows, almost like really long 3 story office building. This thing was totally silent. It didn't make a sound. What's even crazier is that as soon as we all started noticing it and stopped what we were doing to pay attention to it, the craft tipped at an angle and slowly started moving belly-first to the east. Then it started fading away until it was invisible. It didn't shoot off into the distance. It simply dissolved into the ether. We all watched it vanish.

This was not a plane. It wasn't a satellite, a drone, or anything like that. There was no mistaking what this was: We all saw a giant disc shaped craft hovering a few hundred feet above the ground with three rows of windows and lights. Then we all saw it fade into nothing as soon as it knew it was being watched.
There were a dozen other people who saw it with me.

Working on loading materials with multiple workers, from a materials distribution center outside when bright oval observed.

The Afternoon:
A testimony encouraged by my 1 friend, my dad who is not sure if he believes me but supported me,
more importantly, my coworker who was there and was moved and for anyone else that was curious what it was....

On a crisp afternoon, we pulled into a landscape yard to load some dirt for a job.

A blue bird day, one could almost see to Wyoming, the air was so clear crisp.
Cleanest air I have seen all year. Made me wish I was in the mountains climbing that day. I was working.

I noticed an object, unlike anything I have seen before in the sky's.

The words expressed from us... 3 men working mid day....

ME.... T.... and the " Load Guy"

2) What are you guys looking at, ....yo what... I see that...
3) Yo it seems to be floating....Its so bright from reflection, yet white....very high up, wow! Must be around 10...no 15 thousand feet we are at almost 5800 ft no that must be 16 ..17....
Description-
The object was shaped in a parabolic nature and oval in shape. The reflective nature of the white color, and absorbtion of pure white was amazing, and the defined shape on its edges was sharp.

(It must be a high flying paraglider, I thought?)

I told my co worker to observe and it was clear that this was an object, not a cloud.

An employee from the company working the front loader, who we were patrons of came out to view the object after our curiosity.

We all started taking pictures and discussing what the object could be?

This object was over the frontrange, north of Golden, just south of Boulder.

We saw commercial planes going underneath it flying west out of DIA.
We also saw a few lear jets, most likely on approach from the west to land at centennial airport... Citation jet size planes under the object.
(This is how I judged its altitude and size at the time)

We were curious if others saw the object. We submit our evidence
to add to our reaserch to explain this, understand and identify the object .

It hovered at approximately 16,000 ft to 20,000 feet for our observed 30 minutes. Size was judged around the size of a large Prevost bus a bit larger....

Some sparse clouds were observed in area but not around object. Object did not move or change with cloud formation. (Again, it was clear that object was not translucent or hazy, but an ultra white material shape with unwavering parabolic shape.

(As we saw the object in almost perfect viewing conditions, its form was an obvious solid object, however the altitude obscured details.)

Object did rotate 20 degrees 2 times in 20 minutes then returning to original position. Stoic in its location and azimuth in atmosphere.

After having to go about my day, we lost track of object. I had to get back to work! Right... Object was unobserved 5 min later...

Object Must have been paraglider????
But all white?
At 17000 ft?

Every paraglider here has some color on sail around here.

Weather balloon?
Released by CU? In the track of the busiest airspace in the country?

It's my duty to report this for avaiton safety and to also answer our curiosity!
In its brilliant white form, we will be in awe by its beauty and wonder and will remember our unwavering curiosity to an object that 3 men, just loading a truck full of dirt saw in the atmosphere that afternoon.

Hoping someone else can add to our observation, with evidence as we are both inquisitive but skeptical.

Me and family were leaving concert. My father saw it first and took this photo. Me and my whole family witnessed this at the same time.

Me and my whole family were leaving a concert at red rock, as we were walking to our car, My father looked up and noticed the weird phenomenon he was witnessing to which he told us to look up, and we saw five triangular objects hovering in the sky with no movement, they were an almost reflective type of metal. It was easy to make out the shape due to the lights reflecting off the shape, but hard to explain what it was made out of. We continue to walk down to our car and looked back up to see that they were gone. My father luckily took his phone out and captured this moment.

Multiple small, white and blue orbs gather in a large tree nearby after i flashing my light toward where i seen the first orb.

I noticed small white flashes above my yard as I grilled. Shortly after, I saw a blue, three strobe orb fly a few feet above my house. I was completely shocked because I knew instantly that it was nothing I had seen before. As I stood there flipping my burgers, thinking about what i had just seen I had an idea.

I had my flashlight on my phone on, so I flashed my light 3 times up in the sky like whatever I had just seen fly overhead. Nothing happened the first time but when i done it again the thing came back around. This time it parked and hovered in a very tall tree not far from my house. It wasn't flashing anymore but a constant dim blue light slowly weaving through the branches of this very large tree.

As I continued flashing my light in flashes of three, I began to see 2 other small white lights in the same tree as the blue orb. They made no sound at all. Couldn't of been a drone because it was in this large oaktree, moving around in the dense leaves. They looked sort of like fireflies but there are no fireflies out yet.

It was at about this time my wife came out and I filled her in. I tried repeatedly to get the lights to flash again but nothing. But sure enough as I was about to give up, all three lights began to move and light up! So my wife seen these lights and I knew this was something that was really there, maybe 100 yards from my house hanging in this very large tree. Doing what? I have no clue. But after she saw the lights she became frightened and she made me quit communicating with my light and go inside.

This was the first time I have experienced anything like this, ever.

blue/white Orb spotted on Lookout Mountain

We drove from Boulder to Lookout Mountain. We arrived at our spot at 39°43'51.9"N 105°14'28.4"W. (Facing West) We sat there listening to music for a couple hours, when all of the sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw a white/blue light hovering between two trees (it was not the reflection of car headlights, because those reflections always followed the same horizontal pattern, when I looked at the light it was just hovering there.) I looked to see what this light was that caught my eye, as did the person sitting next to me. Together we saw an orb. It looked to be about 100 feet from the vehicle. As soon as we looked at it, it zipped straight down behind the hill. We didn't see it again.

Blue/purple orb seen from North Table in Golden, CO.

I stepped out onto my front porch and looked into the northeast sky. I noticed what looked like a blue/purple orb flying in a T shaped pattern. It flew very slowly, and very directly. When it changed direction, it did so immediately. When it first caught my eye around 1am, it was moving to the left, then headed down. Headed back up, then moved left again. Stopped for a brief minute, and when it did, it became a semi-solid/pulsating randomly white light.

When it began moving again to the right, it became the blue/purple orb it had been when it first caught my eye. After moving for a brief moment it stopped, changed to a white light again, and this is where it sat for a solid 20mins. Then, out of nowhere, it became the blue/purple orb once again, this time moving straight up for a split second, moving significantly faster, and then it was gone.

Strange melodic hum, higher pitched, alternating between 2 tones and moving back and forth N and W of Golden, CO.

Woke up at about 3 am to a loud melodic hum during the catastrophic wind storm that hit Colorado this month that sounded like it was above my house. It was like nothing I’ve ever heard before. It moved north away from the house and sounded like it was moving back and forth between the northern and western part of Golden. I woke up my girlfriend and she was able to hear it to, but couldn’t make sense of it either.

Checked around while it was going on and the sound didn’t appear to be created by the borderline record setting winds blowing through or against anything as the noise remained consistent in volume between wind gusts. Also, being from Wyoming (arguably the windiest state in the country) and having heard a lot of wind against a lot of different things, this hum was still like nothing I’ve heard before. I checked the skies around the house, but it was overcast and all I could see was the glow of the Denver lights bouncing off of the cloud deck. But considering the fight or flight response that sound was eliciting from me, I’m glad I didn’t see anything if I’m honest. My every instinct was telling me to get as far away as fast as possible. It’s worth noting that the hum was higher pitched and seemed to alternate between 2 tones. It scared the hell out of me but oddly the sound was kind of pretty in a way. I’ve found a lot of reports online of a “hum” that detailed a really low pitch that almost chimes, but this was nothing like that and was both several octaves higher and constant.

Also conferred with my next door neighbors. They woke up from the wind at about the same time that I did and also heard the noise, but they’re pretty heavy sleepers and fell back asleep pretty quickly without giving it much attention. To be more specific, it didn’t occur to them that they heard a sound until I brought it up a few days later. I stayed up and listened to the hum until about 5:30am before falling back asleep myself. As far as I can tell, no one has reported this to anyone.

I’m prior military and a fairly level headed person. So far, nothing has ever made the hair stand up on the back of my neck like that hum.

Whatever it was had ample cloud cover and was moving at a steady pace with lightning and rain. Granted this is common for the area, but the sound that was traveling with the cloud was certainly an anomaly.

I certainly felt there was something above me moving just ahead of the storm.

There were 7 vivid, gark green star like lights in the sky in the southwest direction.

I was in my bed at home, around 9:00. I looked out the window (facing west) and noticed some strange lights, there we're 4 lights that looked like stars in the south west direction. However, these were no stars seeing as these lights were a vibrant, dark, green.

I looked it up and saw that it is impossible for a star to be green, plus not all of them were being covered by clouds. 3 out of the 4 had disappeared, maybe by clouds? So now afraid that I was running out of time I asked my sister to come up stairs and look at them.

She confirmed the light and as she was looking I saw 3 more of the same lights exept these ones were closer to the horizon and dawned just above a roof top. These ones are a lot harder to spot than the first one I saw from the original 4.

Again, these look like stars ans twinkle but are a green color and not all are being covered by clouds.

Rapidly moving "V" shaped black object, I detected no noise from object moving south.

"V" shaped craft, silent and moving rapidly, two rows of dim white lights in shape of "V" (bottom of craft presumably) No red lights or blinkers like on commercial flights. Barely seen against night sky, black or grey in color. I was out looking for Orionids, lots of airplane traffic, but this snuck in just west of me going south along front range between Golden and mountains (maybe 20,000 feet, not too high, lower than all commercial flights I witnessed). You see it, try and make sense of what it could be, then realize it made no noise whatsoever and was moving fast. I had once seen an unexplainable pattern of lights, a long time ago and experienced the missing time, so when I went in last night I checked the clock first thing, so unusual amount of time had past like the lst time.

Hovering lights seen in the sky from the top of Ancient Palms trail

My friends and I walked to the top of Ancient Palms trail in Golden to see the fireworks shows of the surrounding areas. At around 9PM the closest fireworks display in Golden began and most of us were turned in that direction watching.

About 10 minutes later my friend tapped me on the shoulder and pointed in the opposite direction of the fireworks (east) and said "What is that?" I turned and looked where he was pointing and saw 3 lights hovering in the sky. They were completely stationary for about 15 seconds. Then a fourth light appeared and they started moving slowly left to right in a perfect line.

At this point my 4 friends and I were all watching and making a bit of a scene pointing and yelling in confusion and at least 10 other people had turned around and were looking too. There were at least 30 people on top of the trail we were on, I can't say for sure how many people witnessed this object but there were several.

The 4 lights appeared to be absorbed into one, and then would re appear as 4. Then, all 4 disappeared suddenly, reappeared for a few moments, moved upwards slowly, and then disappeared again. This all happened in less than 2 minutes.

I heard one man ask one of the park rangers who were there if he saw the object and what he thought it was. The trail ranger said hesitantly "It was probably parachuters", which made no logical sense. No one had any other suggestions of what it was and everyone appeared to have the same uneasy feeling.

These were not fireworks or like anything I have ever seen in my life. I feel confident reporting this as there were several witnesses and no explanation for these lights.

Advanced light patterns turning in sharp angles and moving at high speeds in a fluid manner that no known human aircraft could handle.

A couple friends and I (3 people total) decided to climb up Green Mountain to view all of Denver’s fireworks for the 4th. We could see all of Denver from about Alameda North.

At about 9:40 PM (21:40) we saw 6-8 really bright lights traveling in an oval pattern in the sky. Using our geographical reference, they looked to be above Arvada or Westminster. They were moving quicker and more fluid like than any other aircraft I had observed.

The circling oval pattern abruptly stopped after about 10 - 20 seconds. Now only 4 lights remained and they quickly shuffled around each other in their own unique oval shaped patterns.

After about 5 seconds of this the lights reduced down to three in which they formed a triangle in the sky. The lights then began to weave in and out of each other, yet always returning back to the original triangle shape. The sharp degree turns that these crafts would turn at was remarkable; they could flip a direct 180 degree turn at a really high velocity as if momentum was not a factor.

This triangular light pattern lasted for about 20 seconds until 2 suddenly disappeared as if flying north at a really fast speed.

The last light remained for a while longer, the departure of this light was observed as if it were shrinking in size and dimming in luminescence to blend with the city street lights until we could see it no longer.

We potentially considered this last beam of light to have landed as it sunk to blend in with the city lights.

All three individuals can vet for what they saw on the mountain that day, and we all agree that these air crafts were far more advanced than anything we have seen in the skies before.

It was a very inspiring and beautiful spectacle we were graced with.

At approximately 1:15pm on 11/3/08 I was outside and looked up and saw three metallic-like objects traveling at the same speed heading North. After a couple of minutes, 2 of the objects abruptly stopped int heir tracks and the third continued north and that one subsequently came to an abrupt hault about thirty seconds later.

About a minute after all three were stationary, the first two that had stopped suddenly began to in circular motions and zig-zag motions, moving quickly in one direction then stopping quickly, then suddenly accellerating in another direction and stopping abriptly again. This "dancing" lasted for roughly 5 minutes.

Then a cluster of four more identical objects appeared in the sky just south of the other three and were traveling in what some might call a formation. almost as if they were connected. But then they began to act independently swooping up and down, left and right as if they were in a dogfighting scene out from the movie Top Gun.

They then disappeared into the cirus clouds and did not reappear after watching the sky for another 10 minutes.

The metallic three pronged upside down teardrop object moved at a constant altitude and velocity Northwest in Golden, Colorado.

The metallic colored object with the shape of an upside down teardrop with three prongs moved Northwest past the baseball fields at Ulysses Park in Golden, Colorado at approximately 8:25 pm mountain standard time. The object appeared to be moving at the same altitude for the duration of the sighting. The object was roughly 100 feet away and likely 3-5 feet long across the side facing my friend and me. It disappeared from sight after moving at a constant rate of speed for about 30-40 seconds. The object made absolutely no sound.

A group of skateboarders sitting about 25 feet away pointed out the object to my friend and me while we played catch as we did not notice it initially. Interestingly, one of the skateboarders made the comment, "it's spying on you." My friend and I continued to play catch as the whole event felt somewhat surreal and there wasn't an instantaneous cohesive response by us. However, a few minutes later it grew too dark and we stopped playing catch. At that time we discussed the event and did not know what to make of it. As we walked down to the parking lot below the batting cages we hoped to see the skateboarders to ask them what they honestly thought it was but they were gone. After discussing the event, we postulated the only logical explanation was some sort of runaway kite but the seemingly constant altitude and velocity on a clear and breezeless night made that postulation unlikely to us.

It was way bigger than any planet or star, but too far away to tell detail. It looked like a street lamp was suspended in the air. It was moving around, in a straight direction. It went behind a cloud but we could still see some of it and then it disappeared.

9 objects that appeared to be bright hovering lights, then lit up, dimmed, moved to the east and began blinking.

A friend and I were watching TV when around 5:27 he went out to the balcony of my apartment for a smoke. I live up on a hill on the border of Golden and Lakewood that overlooks Denver and its suburbs to the north.

He knocked on the window for me to come and look at something. I am a MUFON Investigator so I watch the skies often. He pointed out a bright greenish light in the sky to the NNE. It was just sitting there perfectly still. I thought it looked very strange so I grabbed my binoculars. He then pointed out that there were actually 4 objects. All of them were still.

That looked even more interesting so I grabbed my video camera. Once I got out there with the camera they began moving. When I got my camera on them there were three left. The forth had moved off to the east. When I began video taping one object began to move off to the east, and one to the west. The one to the west then came back moving to the east. Then while filming the remaining light, which was perfectly still, just its right and above it another light lit up. Soon after, the bottom light lit up very brightly. When it got very bright, it appeared like an angled disk shape. It then began to move to the east like the rest and dim out. All of them did this when they flew easy and as they got dimmer they also began to blink. The remaining light did the same thing. It began to get extremely bright, and then it began moving east. Here again it would get dimmer and begin to blink. This can all be seen on the tape. As it moved to the east, I noticed yet another light appear the same place the last one had appeared. This one was dimmer and began move to the east blinking immediately. When the tress got in the way I stopped filming. However, we could see at least two of the light off in the distance over Denver. Then after a few minutes they began to fade too dim to see.

At this point I called the Director of Investigations to let him know what we saw. That call was made at about 5:55. While on the call at about 6:15, my friend could see another light appearing in the same spot they had appeared before. I got off the phone and went back with the camera, however right when I got the camera on it, it faded very dim. My friend saw another one of them over Denver that was lighting up very bright again. Again once I got the camera on it, it faded out. Because I thought they might be reacting to the camera I put it away. A couple minutes later another light appeared where the others had. This time, this one stayed still. It looked like it actually was two light side by side. As it sat there another light began to light just below it to the left. The light appearing looked very disk shaped through the binoculars. After 30 seconds or so as it finally seemed to be finished appearing or whatever it was doing and they both moved to the east. One headed east over Denver, the other seemed to keep a regular distance from us and moved in an arc to the east with us in the middle. Once it got due south of us, it just seemed to hover out there. We then noticed one out over Denver. This one seemed to be east of downtown and it had two lights, one at either end. It moved south and appeared very large for as far away it was. I would say about half the size of a dime at arms length. The light towards the front was brighter, and eventually the light at the back began to pulse. It eventually dimmed out. We could see one of the light heading east still, but after a couple minutes it began to get too dim also. At this point the light to the south was no longer visible either.

In total we saw nine of these objects and got seven on tape. You can look for yourself, but it does not appear that these objects had the characteristics of any known craft. The closest would be a helicopter, but that would not explain why some appeared to come out of no where, and why they seemed solid at first. It also would not explain the apparent disk shape. Two other things I would like to note, although they seem extraordinary is that they seemed to react to being video taped, and they seemed to intentionally blink to mimic airplanes.

While turning left onto Johnson Road, I noticed something hovering very close to the traffic light.

While turning left on Johnson Road, I noticed what looked to me like a translucent (greyish) rectangle with the following dimensions. Approximately 18 inches long by 10 inches vertical and around 8 inches in depth. The rectangle was less than one foot from the traffic light which was currently colored red as I turned onto Johnson Road towards my home. The rectangle appears to have some sort of content inside of it that appeared to be kind of "phasing" in and out of view (I think I saw what might have been circular or oval items moving inside of the rectangle as it phased in and out. (by phase, I mean that the rectangle was stationary, translucent and changing its brightness subtly). During the 5-10 seconds of this encounter, I looked at the object three 2 or 3 times. Note: Probably more than 1 witness (me) since other cars were also turning left Johnson Road at the time that I saw this UFO.

Light formation in sky over Golden,CO 01/04/04

I was baby sitting for my brother in law, a house painter, mild mannered, father of four, on the night of Sunday, January 4 from about 8:00pm till about 11:00pm. He and his wife went to see a movie. When they returned, My brother in law Anthony offhandedly told me about some lights he saw in the sky immediatly after leaving my house for the movie. They were in a hurry because the movie was starting soon, but they stopped at the stop sign and looked up and they described seeing a hundred or so small lights kind of in an upsidedown swoosh formation. He said, and his wife Misty coroborated him, that the formation drifted slowly from easrt to west for about fifteen seconds while they stared at it. Then it slowly turned north and started morphing into more of an upsidedown U for about 3-5 more seconds before dissapearing.

Shortly after the lights vanished they spotted an airplane flying eastbond for DIA traveling signifigantly faster than the light formation did.

It was a dark cloudless night and we are over the ridge from Denver so we are sheltered somewhat from it's ground light. There are also no streetlights on my steet so nights are dark and starry.

My personal opinion is it was something natural floating in the air, due to it's slow movement. Exhaust from an airplane, the after effects of a meteor, or a firework.

((male name deleted and Misty say it appeared to be as high or higher than the plane was. I'm just curious if any one else saw it or has any idea what it could have been.

3 lights triangular shaped, AAA fire, lights warping out, stealth-type fighter

I was at Coors Brewery taking a break on the North side of the building on some stairs. I was just enjoying the evening light as it was fading in the mountains and scanning the horizon. To the Northwest at 8:50pm I saw 3 lights in a triangular formation just above the mountains: the brightness was unlike a street light that has the appearance of shards radiating from it...these lights were brilliant, clear bluishwhite and were perfectly round. The distance would not allow me to tell if there was one object or three. I could not believe what I was seeing, just sitting there in the distance, because I had always wanted to see a UFO. But there was no doubt in my mind, I was fixated. I stared at them, the lights, for about a 2 minutes and they winked out... just gone...even though I could see nothing but 3 lights I wanted to look some more.....all of a sudden, about 2-3 minutes later there were bursts of rapid firing light (similar to anti-aircraft fire, but they had no arc to them) from the ground (they were rectangular shaped and there was about 10 - 12 of them one behind the other). I could see nothing in the direction the lights were traveling but about the time the last light reached a certain height (approximately 2 inches to the right of my original sighting if you hold a ruler at arms length) there were several objects that streaked off in about a 30-45 degree angle from where I saw the AAA lights. It was very much like watching ships in star trek going into warp,,,,it was amazing....I called to a mechanic in the room behind me to come out, we saw nothing but there was a jet that appeared to be of stealth origins flying low over the mountains without lights heading in the general direction of my sighting the mechanic then left. I returned to work at 9:10pm. (well, I was a little late going back)

Several hazy images, seemingly attached solidly in space, in a "V"/Chevron shape.

I was taking a quick jog around the block, and investigating the sound of a helocopter and a police pulled over car.... But as the helocopter flew west, out of sight and sound to the mountains above Denver, I looked up at the sky....

A vague set of contrasted shapes, in the shape of a "V", seemingly flowing the path of the helocopter's.

Basically, they seemed to be the reflection of city lights shining on the bottom of some very distant bird formation. But, as I focused the shapes interacted uniformly, as if they were fixed on the front of a Stealth Bomber ("flying wing")... making a slight turn and straightening manuvre; but with no complete form... just the fixed, hazy dots.

I thought maybe some geese were flying over silently, and as they passed I would see birds; but it flew way too fast and silent. The tipping of the form, uniformly, alarmed me that birds don't usually make such manuvres.

Also, just after the slight manuvre, they passed over an active/lit-up baseball field, and I stared, to see if I would see a "V" of birds fly through the lights. But they were much higher than they seemed. Because they went out of view in the light, this showed great velocity.

Strange Noise In Golden CO Area

Strange noise in the area of Golden. It could have been an airraid siren, but I haven't heard of any reports that were given about an airraid siren test. This happened around 2pm MST on 02/19/2002, we were standing outside of one of the Federal buildings when the so called 'noise' started. It sounded like wind going through a tight crack but then it changed to sounding like a siren, we couldn't tell. We were out in the open, and the wind never ever sounded like that. I was looking for possible aircraft that might have flown overheard but saw nothing. Weather was partly cloudy/mid 50s and a little breezy. Other than the wind, it was a perfect day.

Blinking object entering atmosphere.

This is an extremely questionable occurance.

I was waiting for a friend in a parking lot. There was a ton of light pollution around. Target, Safeway, lots of big shopping centers and stores was in the immediate area with huge parking lots.

I looked up in the Northern sky. I was on Colfax Avenue at Quail. As I looked up, I spotted this ball light which was white around and an undetermined color in between the white. This blinked and flashed as it must have entered the atmosphere. However, it did not leave a tail behind! This looked very very similar to a space craft entering the atmosphere but didn't see any recordings of occurance of this date and time especially anything heading northward! I was curious if there was another meteor shower going on, but there was no record that I could find of that either. The reason I ask this, is that there were a couple other objects of same style of craft that must have entered the atmosphere. Has anyone looked into this?

Low flaming meteor with possible ground impact.

At about 10:45 PM driving west on I-70 near the intersection of I-70 & C-470, (Golden, Colorado) I saw what was most likely a large meteor or Space Junk. It first appeared to me just below the top of my windshield at about a 30 degree angle above the horizon, appearing to flare up at that point to a bright yellow-white color with a long tail and sparks and small chunks breaking off. It was about half to 2/3rds the size of a pencil eraser at arms length. It dropped almost vertically to a point just above the ridgeline of the foothills, and appeared to dim out just before disappearing. While very hard to estimate distance, if I had to venture a guess I would say 5 to 20 miles, though it could have been much further. It looked to me that it very likely hit the ground relatively near Denver. (A call to the USGS for seismic cooberation was quite unsatisfying) I had my hand held GPS operating, and checked the current heading at that time as 201 degrees. I am trying to confirm if that is magnetic or true heading, but the GPS manual does not specify. It appears to be magnetic heading based on my aeronautical chart and the road in that area. The object was just slightly left of straight ahead, so most likely about a 195-200 degree magnetic heading from that intersection. Plotting this on my Denver Area Chart (aeronautical chart), the line runs nearly through Marshdale, Silver Springs, and Bailey Colorado. (If my GPS course turns out to be True Course, shift the line 10 ½ degrees to the left, but magnetic course looks right on the map). This was one of the most spectacular, low and close objects of this type I have seen, and if my small plane were not in the shop I would go out looking for evidence. It may be possible if able to triangulate or get a seismic location to find a relatively pristine meteor or space debris. I don't know who to contact about meteor impacts, so perhaps you can tell me or pass this on. Perhaps NORAD/Space Command has some info on this object if they will share it with us.

Spot moving on the moons surface

After many nights of using a fairly high power lense on my reflection telescope I focused on the moons surface. After learning to track the moon as it moved rapidly across my field I started focusing on the surface. I used the craters as the reference as where to focus. After looking at the area on the periphery of the lighted portion of the moon (I used this because it seemed easier to actually see terrain distinctly and in focus).

Almost immediately I noticed an object traveling North by North East (upper right direction as my vision would orientate. It traveled in a precisely straight line for close to one minute. During this time I tried to determine if this was a just a surface phenomenon or something on my lens. I quickly determined that it had to be on the surface as it did not appear until I had complete focus on the surface craters and features.

After I had established that fact, and continued following the object it stopped for a few seconds (I mention this only because it was a distinct period however short). It then turned left (almost) 90 degrees to the left and traveled for another 5-10 seconds before stopping. It remained at that position for well over a minute or so. I followed it until the moon disappeared behind the trees and the house I lived in - Mountains of Colorado.

I tried again in the back of the house (to bypass the blockage that the house and trees had presented) but was unable to establish exactly what or where the spot was.

My observation was that the shadow did not elongate as a shadow would if it were to rise and fall on the landscape (because it was on the rising or setting light source). It remained in clear focus during the entire time and also remained as a spot and did not become an elongated feature or blurred image.

Summary : Witnessed a Barbell like object that rotated irratically, changed directions several times, and finally dissapeared.

I just found this web page, and when I saw the report logs, I excitedly went to June 1995. There is a report of an object seen on the 7th in another state that is remarkably similar to what I observed on June 1995. The other witnesses, who were my co-workers did not report this event, as we did not know how to go about doing so. The following is an account of what we saw. The details are not hazy in my memory, as they are burned into my mind- they could never be forgotten.I work at a Bungee jump tower in Golden CO. I am the supervisor of five employees that run the jump tower each day. At 6pm, one of my employees remarked how the clouds in the sky, when observed from the ground with the backdrop of the tower, made the tower appear to move.(the wind was blowing the clouds) I looked up, along with another employee, and noticed that this was true. Gazing at the sky behind the tower, something caught my eye. At first I thought it was an airplane, as it appeared to be at the same altitude as a plane taking off from DIA would. But then it abruptly changed directions. I pointed this out to the other employees. We then observed the object for about ten or fifteen minutes. The object was reflecting the sunlight, and therefore was flashing in the daytime sun. After five minutes or so, it appeared that the object was getting closer. We could then tell that the object appeared to be a metallic shaft with two round ends, like a barbell. The flashing was cau!sed by the object rotating irratically, and wobbling back and forth. I suggested that it was simply two mylar balloons caught in the wind, but then we noticed the same clouds previously mentioned, and the object was moving opposite these wind blown clouds, ruling out the balloon idea. Then, after approximately seven minutes of observation the object changed directions and headed back the opposite direction. The object did not seem to be getting closer at this point, but we then noticed a faint greyish foggy halo surrounding the object. At this point two customers came to the jump, and inquired as to what we were gaping at. They observed the object as well. After a maximum of fifteen tense minutes of observing this anomoly, the object changed course abruptly, went behind a small, thin, transparent cloud, and dissapeared. I would appreciate any information regarding this sitghting, i.e. whether the similar sighting in your log is of similar circumstances. Since 1995 I have been w!rithing to get this reported, and am very grateful for this service.

Bright blue sphere emanating light appeared to move south and east across horizon.

Sometime in July of either 1974 or 1975, three observers were sitting at a stop sign on McIntrye at 32nd Avenue in Golden. The car was facing south. It was a clear day with no clouds and no rain coming from the west.

An object appeared in the horizon from the west and moved rapidly across the sky toward the east and south. The object briefly hesitated about 3/4 way across the horizon and appeared to move more southward.

The object was a bright blue sphere that appeared almost transparent but also seemed to emanate light. By size comparison, the object appeared to be the size of a full, harvest moon. It is very difficult to determine the distance from the car to the object, but estimates are about 3 miles.

The observers were a male professional bank auditor; a female college student working for an environmental consulting firm and a professional chemist and quality auditor.

The female student reported this incident at her workplace and discussed it with the firm's meteorologist. It was the meteorologists opinion that the object was a plasma ball or ball lightening.

The female thought this not to be likely as the object appeared to be quite perfect and manufactured rather than a spontaneous natural occurrence.

My interest in reporting this sighting is to find out if there are any other individuals who witnessed this event.

children see flying saucer in small East Texas town

The day and the year of this sighting is a guess. At the time of the sighting, I am guessing my age to be eight or nine years old.

My nephew and I were outside in front of my home at dusk. We were lying in the grass beside the road. We would jump up as a car drove by and attempt to scare the drivers. We were children and weren't being watched closely! While waiting for the next car, a "flying saucer" slipped from NNE to SSW at tree top level. I can still see that saucer clearly in my mind after all these years. It made no sound. It made a Z movement as it slipped through the air. That Z movement impressed me, because in 1995 when I saw my second UFO, it made that same Z movement.

My nephew was no younger than two but probably not yet four when we saw the saucer. He remembers it. He had to be old enough to talk, because when we saw it, we turned to each other and yelled, "UFO"! We also had to have heard "UFO" on the television or radio for us to know that term!

We ran into the house, but neither of us remember what happened after that and there is no one left alive who could tell us.

The only difference in our memory of this sighting is that he remembers windows in the saucer and I don't.
