Unexplained flying object that was observed by two witnesses and then vanished.

We are in a very low populated area with no outside lights or noises. The surrounding area is mostly pine trees. We were outside at about 5:50am on October 3, 2023, drinking coffee and looking at the stars like we do most mornings. Normally we will see stars and satellites. In this area it is rare to see aircraft at night. On this calm clear morning, we observed three large white lights close together in a triangle shape that appeared to be all part of the same craft. These lights appeared to be low in the sky and close to us. The lights moved from the East to the West at a slow and steady pace with no noise or disruption. There were no colored (red and green) lights like an aircraft. There was no noise like an aircraft. It was very low, seemed very close to us and made no sounds or wind movement at all. It was observed in the clear sky with no cloud cover, No wind, no noise, no other lights, and no obstructions from trees. Then it vanished. It didn't change direction or shoot into the sky. It just vanished/went dark as we were watching it and talking about it.

5 Hovering bright lights seen over Chicagoland

We were driving home and I turned to look to before turning right, when I first saw 8 bright lights. Four of them went left and the lights went to a small twinkle. Five bright lights remained and changed formation a bit but stayed mostly together. It appeared to have flashing lights that moved in a circular motion.

This is the second time we have seen these lights. Previous occasion, through binoculars, the craft appeared very large and in somewhat of a triangular shape.

They hovered for quite some time and moved in all directions with ease and great speed.

Helicopters were heard before lights were seen.

A friend and I were driving down Annie Glidden in DeKalb, when we saw a colorful beam of light flash in the sky.

Immediately we wondered if it was a shooting star, but it shot downwards in the sky, not up. Neither of us could come up with a logical explanation. It was a strange thing.

Me and 3 friends were exiting an apartment, and all of a sudden a quiet boom echoed over head.

Over us came a huge burst of light. It looked like a meteor, however it was covered in blue-yellow flames.

It flew overhead for near 5 seconds, then disappeared over the horizon.

I was driving towards the west and noticed a green fireball flying West.

It left behind a light trail as it was moving.

Original sent to me that I in turn enhanced. Picture taken with a cell phone while someone was on break at the DeKalb Forge Company.

I worked at the DeKalb Forge for about 3 years and lived in the neighborhood for about 15 years. I climbed that water tower in the background of the photo when I was in my teens.

The person who took the picture didn't see the UFO when the picture was taken and later noticed it.

two mysterious hovering changing coloreds lights in dekalb il

I was laying in my bed looking out the window and saw this light in the sky. It grew to my attention when it was hovering in the sky and moving back and fourth. I watched it for more than thirty minutes. A second light appeared under neath it, and the first light slowly moved towards it. Its currently 12:32am and the two lights are in the upper eastern sky.

3 bright white lights in a triangle moving slowly then dimming out

My 2 friends and I were driving down afarm market road in search of our lost friends. I was driving. Out in the country like we were, you dont see many lights, and the stars are always out on a clear night. I happened to notice what a thought were a bunch of really bright stars, but when i looked up i couldn;t beleive my eyes. three whitenlights in a perfect triangle moving relativly slowly through the sky, the lights much brighter and probably three times the size of stars. i started yelling at my friends to look and they got a little freaked out as we pulled over to watch. suddenly the lights just dimmed out and we didnt see them again. we never heard a sound from it, but then again we were in a rather large loud truck.

My son and I saw the first craft coming from a northerly direction across the Red River in Northern Bowie County. It came in at an incredible speed and slowed almost to a halt approximatly 100 feet over our heads then performed a semi-circular maneuever. It continued at a slow speed and then we saw the reason for the maneuver. It had gotten in front of a rectangular craft that was matte black, approx 75 ft long, 40 ft high and approx 40 ft wide. In the front of the craft there was a small square window with light inside and another one on the side of the craft about the same size. The under-side of the craft had everything molded inside except for what appeared to be four thrusters on each corner of the craft. The first craft that performed the maneuver was a round sphere and was lit inside enough to make out a lattice-work frame, but could not make out anything else. We watched the two craft for about 2 minutes and we noticed 2 more of the spheres coming from the north as the others had. These two were identical the first sphere and like the first were coming in at an incredible speed but when they came in behind the rectangular craft, instantly matched its speed which was probably less than 20 MPH. All of this was done without creating one single sound. We could hear cattle bawling of in the distance and even birds rustling in the brush, but nothing from the four craft. My background at the time was in electronics and my son's was in law enforcement. I have worked on some very sophisticated integrated weapons systems, but this was beyond anything I had ever heard of before. Whomever they were and whatever they were; one thing is for sure; they were the masters of gravity.

Circular object with alternating flashing lights with a bright beam of light focused on a tower.

It was during a heavy rain storm. I was with my girlfriend and a circular object hovered approximately at the seventh floor of Stevenson Towers for at least ten minutes. Around the object were alternating flashing colored lights. I told my girlfriend to look out the window and check this out. She said "Oh my God"? Then the object raised over the Towers and a bright beam of light was projected into the towers. The light was as bright as lighting, this lasted for about five minutes. Then the object shot into the sky. Did anyone else see this, the date may not be right.

Firesball hovering over cornfeild,,looks like red/orande with molten dribble..goes back & forth across field and then rises and novas

My roommate and I had just finished moving into our dorm. We were sitting on the front steps. The sun was begining to set. It was a hot summer evening. Accross the street was a corn field. A fireball about the size of beach ball appeared to be hovering over the cornfield. At first we thought it was a firework, but it never disapated. It hovered in one spot with a molten dribble coming off of it, like a sparkler. Then it would move slowly to the other end of the field. It did that a couple times, and then came to the middle of the field. It then rose up about 12 ft and then it did like a super nova and took off really fast up into the sky. We had not been drinking,,nor did we do drugs. We werent going to say anything to anyone, but then we saw in the paper that same week, that a Dekalb Police squad had collided with a similar object. It cracked the windshield and bent the antenna.



It cracked his windsheild and bent his antenna. We kept it quiet all these years thinking noone would believe us.

I was 10 yrs old, it has bothered me since childhood as I am now 35...Please don't think I'm crazy but during the night of (summerish 77') I was with my parents bringing home my sister from college...We were going down a long and what seemed a deserted road...I was looking at the stars when I happened to glance down and saw a lone farm house...about 30yrds or so from it about 50ft hung this object...As I looked at it it showed 6 rectangular lights in formation upon it's front...They would pulse different colors in a pattern I couldn't decern...The shape of the craft was like a hexagon but elongated...It was perfectly symetrycal ...Ok here is where I might sound weird but I swear it's true...While looking at the object I got the distinct impression they knew...(My mind out of nowhere said "We are being observed") as I looked to tell my family which seemed in a trance or something I looked back and as clear as day but in my head I heard "Don't tell them they wouldn't belive you anyway...These thoughts inside my head were not my own and haunt me til this day...I looked to my right up to the stars where I saw I triangle shaped object ...it was reflecting the sun so I assumed it must've been in orbit...I had some time I really can't explain but my next recolection was of both objects being gone and being still on the road...Please help...I don't know how to report this with out sounding crazy. Thank you

at 10:00 pm I saw a pin point of light slowly descending into a area were there nothing for miles but cornfields

I was at a get together with some friends and was having a conversation with a person whose back was to a open window. I then noticed a point of light slowing descending toward the ground,it was perhaps 1 to 1.5 miles away. I noticed it and commented about to my friend. I thought it was strange for a aircraft to land in a corn field that surrounded the apartment building we were in that night.

The next day I read in the local paper about the state patrol been called by a farmer who saw some bright lights on his land. The police then chased and were chased by these airbourne lights that night. To this day I wished I had gone out to have a closer look at this light that came down from the sky.
