I got up to get a drink and looked out of a south facing window in my kitchen and saw a cigar shaped white light hovering in the distance. It would rise into the air then slowly get lower then rise again. It never appeared to get any closer or farther away. Only the altitude of the object changed. I watched the object for several minutes before returning to bed.

Single pulsating white light with occasional green flash at bottom hovering below the clouds to the west

On 3/31/2015 at 11:00PM, I went outside of my Horn Lake, Ms. home to watch a thunderstorm passing through Memphis, TN, which is approximately 15 miles north of my location. Cloud cover was 100% with no breaks in the clouds. It was not raining at the time at my location. There were no stars or planets visible, nor was the moon. To the north west, I saw several airplanes break through the clouds and prepare to land at Memphis International Airport.

As I stood on my front porch, I noticed a strange light due west of me about 45° above the horizon below the thick clouds that seemed very out of place. It was white in color and would dim slightly and then brighten in a pulsating rhythm with an occasional green flash at the bottom of the light. It hovered in the same spot, not moving at all. I called my boyfriend outside to see it and he watched it for a few minutes, but had no idea what it could be. I could not get a photo or video with my camera due to the size, distance, and lighting. I remained on the porch and watched it for about 10-15 minutes more before going inside.

When I went inside, I posted on facebook about what I saw. A friend of mine, also in Horn Lake, MS, commented that she had witnessed the same thing. She also could not identify what the object was.

I am a 47 year old mother of 3 grown sons and do not currently work outside the home and my boyfriend is a 53 year old transmission builder. The friend that also witnessed it from a different location is approximately 30 years old and a clerical worker.

2 cylinder or tube objects above the city of Memphis.

Horn Lake Park in Horn Lake, Mississippi, very near Memphis, TN airport. Early morning I was working out. Laying on the deck doing situps...skys were clear, sunny. FedEx planes and other aircraft were out. Very busty morning. However, out of the blue...an object that looked like a cylinder or a tube...very metallic flew by...no sound. It was low...maybe 1000ft? First thing I thought was...wow where is the wings? I dismissed it until another tube went by....exact flight path as the other. Same description. It didn't hit me until after I seen them that I started wondering. Where were the wings? Where was the sound? Was it a missile? Seemed odd it was flying in such busy skys...but then again...it made perfect sense because the skys were so busy anyway with planes and such. Besides that who would report it? Its taken me 3 months just to report it because I had to come to termsn with what I seen. A metallic tube or cylinder object flying about 1000 ft maybe a bit more up in the air. How long or big? Dont know...didn't see it long enough. Very strange. I decline to give my personal information.

Characteristics: Lights on object

Triangle shaped ship with white lights , moving silently threw the sky

It was a Huge Triangle shape ship with four to six white lights on the bottom of the V shape. About 3 football fields big. Everything was dead silent, and a feeling of fear grips us. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. We were on a wooded highway with very little traffic at this time of night. The object was moving silently just above the tree tops. We were so scared. I began to drive very fast away from the object. We became very sleepy shortly after this event and pulled over in a church parking lot to rest. When we awoke 3hours had passed. The rest of our drive was spent pretty much in silence, until we arrived home.

Totally unexpected, brilliant and very possibly a slightly curved course.

Approximately 2030 on 5 Nov 2003, I observed a fireball type object in the northern sky. Short duration. The "head" was a brilliant white, and the rather short tail that was predominately blue. No sound was heard. The sky was partly cloudy that night. The direction of flight was from NNW to NNE, crossing the N/S meridian. The two things different were a. how brilliant the head was, abd b. the "impression" that I had of a slightly (very slightly) curved course. As I said, no sound and it was a cohesive mass, not breaking apart or shedding part of itself as it went down toward earth.
