A luminous, streaking fire ball leaving an orange-green tail

I observed what initially appeared to be an aerial firework. However, there was no audible sounds and its movement pattern was not ordinary, this fireball was intensely luminous and its point of origin was estimated to be several thousand feet in elevation. I recalled a similar “meteorite” my family observed previously that displayed similar characteristics— a green fireball that left a yellowish-orange trail in its wake. The only difference is the fireball I witnessed on 4/12/2025 was much closer relative to my location and it “burned up” within 5 seconds from the first second I visualized it until it disappeared or extinguished. It may have been possible to witness more of this meteorite event had I not been in a residential area with obstacles in the way such as trees, utility poles and lines.

Was out with my dogs at my Apartment complex and I saw in the sky a silver/ white object in the sky.

Me and my neighbor witnessed what at first looked like a jet, but it was not moving at the speed as a jet no noise, but I did hear a hum. It became apparent when turned directions and I noticed lights that were flashing and also the craft was reflective. Then It disappeared. I am 100 Percent. It was a UFO.

Clear night brightest light ever seen dont know how long it was there, just remember a white and blue beam and it disappeared

June 21, 2024, Richland, TX., Navarro County, time was between 10 pm and 11 pm cst. I was sitting with my friend on his porch talking and listening to music. It was a clear night with a full moon, we were facing south enjoying the moon rising when a white and blue beam covered the yard. It was the brightest light (beam) I have ever seen, it seemed like it stopped directly over the house for less than a second and it disappeared like when you turn a flash light off. No noise coming or going, but it felt like it was right over us. We both felt a radiant heat from the beam. We both had immediate dry mouth, taste buds became soured. We both don’t know if any time was lost between sighting and disappearing. There was a feeling of shock, as if time stood still, and the WTF was that, and did you see that? We discussed colors and I said the brightest white light (beam), and he saw white and blue. We spent the next hour asking ourselves if we saw what we saw. He and I have watched many lightning storms and have felt the blast of a bolt that was so close, we heard the crinkle, pop, and then boom, and the bolt seemed to be 10’ wide. Needless to say we hauled ass inside. The light beam from whatever it was from above us felt like we were scanned. We didn’t see any life forms, as far a we know or could remember. It seemed like time stopped. My Bluetooth boom box and phone went silent.

My son was camping in the back pasture with friends and I called him the next day and asked him if they saw anything on Friday night. He said they saw a bright light, but didn’t know what it was, except one the friends said he saw a UFO. I would like to talk to him, but I don’t want to sound crazy. It’s a small town. I believe there is something in the universe that I can’t prove, but after Friday, I can now say that I have witnessed something so close to me that scared the crap out of me. Something up there was silent and had the baddest f’n light beam ever created. The US Airforce needs to upgrade the stealth bomber, because this thing was unreal.

Near Hanford, cigar shape turned into single light, then left when trying to take a picture

I was closing the gate to my driveway when I felt like something was watching me. Then I looked around and saw something move from the corner of my eye and up in the sky I saw a lot of stars clustered in one area. Then there was a beam of light behind it with even brighter lights on top of it. It looked like a cigar, and started flying west. As it became more visible, the white lights behind it got brighter and it was moving a lot faster. Then it compressed into one bright ball of light and moved very quickly at about 250 degrees west by the time my camera captured a picture it looks like another star in the sky. Then I saw it reappear back at 280 degrees west in the blink of an eye, and it was in the cigar shape again with the bright white light behind it. Then it flew directly up and a bright yellow/red flash appeared before it left and it was gone.

My 5-year-old and I saw a bright spiky object in sky, which dropped/disappeared quickly in a couple seconds.

My 5-year-old and I had a walk in the evening on 4/26/2022, there's still some light outside, and the sky was clear. At around 7:50 pm, suddenly we saw a bright object in the sky at the north direction, which quickly dropped in 2 - 3 seconds, with no sound. From where we saw, the object was about the size of an average woman's hand, and its original height was close to what we usually saw about a small airplane. We have after-dinner walks almost every day and there's a small airport nearby, so we've seen quite some airplanes. Besides, we like to look up at the sky and discuss what we see when we walk, but this object was different from anything we saw. When my son drew what he saw, he drew six dark-blue lines that crossed at the center with light blue emission between the lines, he was very sure it's a blue object, but I saw a yellow object with 5-6 symmetric sharp corners. Both my son and have regular vision (no color blind). So what we are certain it was a bright spiky object that showed different colors to different people. There's no aircrafts close to it when we saw it. When it dropped, my first reaction was: oh no, it must be a big crash and we should hear some loud sound, but we didn't hear anything. We checked several videos about parachute flares, and what we saw were not like that. It may not be something from ET, but we just want to know what that is. Thank you!

White Creature with Black eyes does hand signals afar

I was looking inside looking out a my friends window at around 2:45 am at some objects moving in the night sky, they looked like moving stars. So I got my phone out to see if I could get a picture, I looked outside about to videotape them and something moving across the street from me caught my eye. So I started video taping what I saw. It look like a creature about the height of a 5 years old child . The creature looked hunched down. It looked like he was either waving at me or doing some sort hand signals. The creature looked white with black eyes. It didn't seem like it wanted to harm me, but it was staring back at me.. I was curious of it. When I looked again at 11:am the creature was not there!

I was sitting on my back patio which has a view northward over the Columbia River and into Franklin County, Washington and beyond. I spotted 5 objects flying in a formation in a sweeping motion in what I can best describe as a Blue Angels air show display. The objects were triangular shaped, without visible wings, nose, or tail, and reflected the sun each time they turned making them highly visible. The weather was partial sun with clusters of low rain clouds. The objects flew in complete unison, turning together at exactly the same time going side to side (east to west). I observed for approximately 10 seconds and asked my spouse if she could see them. She did. We watched for approximately another 10 seconds and I ran into the house to get our phones. She continued to watch for approximately 20 seconds as the objects continued to move in complete unison, turning together like a school of fish and they were much faster than an airplane covering a large dis! tance. The objects were many miles away, and moved quickly. There is an airport in the area and the objects did not behave like planes in the air. There are birds in the area and the objects did not behave like birds. When I returned with the phones approximately 20 seconds later I could not locate them on the phone screen as I attempted to record. My spouse looked down at her phone to begin recording and could not locate the objects again when she looked up. I have a flight tracker app on my phone and I checked it. The nearest plane to us at the time was above Sunnyside WA, approximately 40 miles west.

Lights in formation traveling rapidly across the sky

Early on the morning of Mar. 18 (?), I went outside to see the crescent moon and a couple of planets aligned in the southeastern sky. As I was waiting for the moon to make its appearance, I looked around and noticed a light about the same magnitude as the stars around it moving very rapidly across the sky. Within a few seconds, I sighted several other lights traveling at the same speed and direction. They were lined up across the sky, about distance between the pointer stars and the North Star apart, heading more or less southeast from the Big and Little Dipper toward the southeastern horizon. As I was watching them, two lights seemed to be doing crisscrosses with each other. These were the only two that were not in formation. This continued for several minutes with new lights appearing as those near the horizon disappeared. At first, I thought they were airplanes taking off from Seattle (SeaTac) but when I saw the crisscross, I thought that was unusu! al for airplanes. So, I chalked it up to sunlight reflecting from the bottom of supersonic jets. However, just a couple of days ago, I was walking the dog at about 9-10 pm and noticed several lights in the same formation traveling in the same direction. Now I’m really wondering what they are!

I watched a perfect triangle silently float above me and travel east in the exact altitude of approximately 5k' from Benton Co, across the Columbia River, into Franklin Co, across the Snake river, and on into the next county of Walla Walla.

The triangle was very bright! Red/orange in color. Every square foot of the bottom of the craft looked like molten metal, like an acetylene torch heating up steel. I watched the craft silently float on by for about 1 minute and travel about 20 miles until it was out of sight.

I know this, because I drive that main direction to work and have lived in this area for over 40 years.

I was driving to a local winery for a get together and saw 3 cylinder like objects ahead of me. They grew closer and closer to me, the more I drove, then within seconds were to the right of me. I attempted to get my phone which had gone dead due to overheating (very odd) and nearly burnt my hand. As I threw the phone down in pain the objects were then to the left of me. A bright light shined in front of me like floodlights (it was day time yet still very very bright) and I threw up and had a headache for the next couple of hours. After I left the event I noticed am odd symbol on the car resembling a cave and arrows surrounded by a circle.

My cat in the car who is normally docile went insane and the electrical gauges on the car stopped working as this all happened.

I thought I saw our city helicopter lights then I stood there and watch a second air craft approach I told my boyfriend to look and then all of a sudden the lights on the aircraft start flashing in weird patterns. my boyfriend said they probably refueling a plane, i said no not with those type of lights.

very black craft passing edge of the moon

focusing my telescope at the moon I saw a black black craft that wasn't a satellite crossing the edge of the moon, It was kind of like a coke can shape with an L shaped top and seemed to be missing a square piece off the bottom of it. It was darker than space if it wouldn't have been crossing the moon I'd never have seen it.

Flashing Light Hells Canyon. 4 witnesses. Airline Captain.

I have been an airline pilot for 26 years and Captain for 15 years.

Amatuer astronomer for 30 years and meteorologist.

In Hells Canyon on Snake River night of July 23, 2016.

Clear very dark night. Many satellites. I was giving 3 other witnesses a “Star Tour” when my brother and I saw a white light flash with the brightness of Saturn. This was to our NW and about 45 degrees up. Distance unknown. Not real close.

After a few flashes it appeared to our NE and then all 4 of us watched this light flash numerous times while moving rapidly in about a 40 degree spread. Again about 45 degrees up.

For 10 minutes while this light moved and flashed I told the group I have never seen anything like this in my 30 years of looking at the night sky.

This was not an aircraft, drone, balloon, satellite.

It moved rapidly from one position to the next sometimes flashing twice in quick succession.

It finally stopped and after another half hour we retired to camp.

No drugs or alcohol by myself or my brother. No one drunk.

I've seen a few things over the years as I spend a great deal of time at night watching the sky. But this was 10 minutes of observation in a VERY remote part of the country.

5 bright lights in the sky over the Columbia River

Looking west from our backyard last night, there were anywhere between 2 to 5 oval shaped white lights going in various patterns above us in the sky. One would go right, while 4 may go to the left. Two would stay lower, while the other two would shoot up and join the singular one. Sometimes some would blink off & on, while others stayed white. At times they would go in a complete circle. There was no noise with their presence.

The only thing we had to try and get a picture was, an IPad. They did not come out well as there is no zoom lens on it. The other person observing this went to get his LED flashlight that is very bright, to see if he could replicate the lights in the sky. They could not. What was in the sky was far beyond the capability of our flashlight. But within 30 seconds of shining our light towards the sky, they came together, stopped all motion, and then vanished.

Multiple craft, long duration event

Right after going outside in my back year to watch fireworks with my wife, we both noticed what appeared to be a military style formation of initially 6 separate craft. All craft were in an almost straight line and evenly spaced, except for the first craft, which was about 3 times further ahead then the rest of the craft were spaced.

More craft appeared when the lead craft went out of sight. There was no noise present and the craft appeared to be at about 30,000 feet and flying north east from the south west. From my vantage point, they were straight up from a hill, directly to the south of my home.

Every craft flew the exact same pattern and were extremely slow. The last craft took 8 minutes to traverse the same path the previous traveled in less time. All craft disappeared at the exact same location.

There was a low cloud bank but was only partially covering the skies.

The path the craft were flying through was not clouded and had very good visibility.

I was riding my horse West of Richland on a big farm looking towards Plainwell. The sky was clear with no clouds and it was a sunny day. I saw a bright reflective circle in the sky (lower than most small aircraft fly).

It caught my eye because it didn't look like anything I've seen before and didn't look like a plane. It was reflective like a mirror without any flickering.

I watched it for around 30 seconds and then reached for my phone to take a picture. While I was firing up the camera, I watched the object fade like someone used a dimmer switch to "turn it off" and it was gone from site. There was nowhere for it to go, no clouds. But it was gone by the time my camera was ready.

I, along with 6 witnesses saw Fleets of UFOs disappearing into portal I have 4 1/2 min of video

Stepping outside to take a walk, me and fiancée noticed the sky was a weird blue color with hundreds of pulsating spinning orange orbs were coming down my street then stopping pulsating spinning and disappearing in one spot above our head.

As they disappeared, I panes back down street and hundreds more were Also coming. his went on an on directly in front of us! I have it recorded, 4.35 mins.

We witnessed a fleet of ufos going into a portal! I have the proof and I'm actually nervous about what to do with the evidence..

Also, as the orange orbs pulsed disappeared, they reappeared in another location..

Nothing moves like that...I literally freaked out and pulled over and called my fiancée and said you have no Idea what I just saw.....I swear......nothing I know of moves that way, or can leave that fast....

About 7PM, I walked out my garage side door and noticed 3 circular shaped objects with orange glowing lights in a triangle formation. All three were moving from north to south.

There were high clouds at the time and all 3 craft were below them. They crept across the sky very slowly and I was able to take a picture as well as have my wife watch as well.

The northwest craft went straight up throughs the clouds and disappeared but not before I snapped a picture. The northeast craft disappeared about 45 seconds later in the same manner and the southern most craft waited an additional 2 minutes before ascending through the clouds.

I have never seen anything like this before and had to tell someone.

Got up one night about 2:30. Peeked out of the shutter and saw exactly what was in the last video. Got the binoculars. It was brighter with almost a turquoise light wth red and white lights as well. Too high to be on the mountain and it was still there when I looked again 20 minutes later.

Saw it again a few months later and again from the other side as I drove in from Portland about 3 am. These videos all shot from different locations and submitted by others at different times.

I scoured Youtube looking for evidence of other sightings in Tri cities and this is the result. Insomniac prankster with a drone and too many batteries in the garage? You tell me. I have no clue what it was.

White and red orb of light hovering over Tri-Cities.

Driving home from Kennewick, WA, to Richland, WA, at about 21:20 (9:20pm) my wife and I witnessed a UFO flying over Richland and Kennewick, WA.

At first sight I noticed a bright white light in the sky that appeared to be a bright star. As we continued driving down the highway the light clearly was getting larger, brighter, and looked as if it were getting closer to the car. At this time now (10-15 seconds) it went from looking like a bright star to possibly a light to a plane of some sort.

Having never seen a plane light look like what I was observing, I then asked my wife, "what is that in the sky?". The light was brighter than any plane light I had ever seen, and stayed on like a headlight rather than blinking like most planes I see do.

My wife responded, "I don't know, maybe a plane?". I then said, "I've never seen a plane light like that".

The light then continued to grow in size and now was getting much closer our car. As we continued driving down the road, both watching the light, it then started to change color.

The light now was getting very close to our car and was clearly hovering much lower than any plane would be flying. The bright white light had turned to a more dim version of its previous self.

The entire time this was happening the light was clearly visible through our front windshield as we were driving down the highway.

Now, after maybe 30 seconds, the more dim light was almost directly over our car. It was hovering, not moving like a plane or helicopter would be doing, and was only about 50-60 feet above our car. It was almost directly above our vehicle, being slightly on the passenger side of our car.

I was sitting on the passenger side of the car and was completely in awe of what my wife and I were witnessing. I rolled my window down so that I could get a clear view of what was now above us. I could see through the dim orb of light a metal looking craft of some sort. I could see the craft was horizontal and got larger on both ends. Similar to a traditional dog bone shape. The metal looking craft also had lines running vertically up and down the sides. Once again the color started to change as we were passing the UFO.

My wife and I had now just passed the UFO and I continued to watch it from out my rolled down window. The whole time, even with the window down, the UFO was silent, producing no noticeable noise. The light has now changed to a deep bright red color similar to a traffic light in color. The craft was no longer visible due to the brightness of the light.

The red light stayed on and the craft hovered on over Kennewick, WA, as we continued towards Richland.

As we were watching the orb of light, now behind us, the light would completely shut off and it would then turn back on. The light continued to blink on and off for the next 60 seconds or so until it was no longer in our line of sight.

This was our first experience with any UFO. I have always been somewhat of a sceptic, but now know for certain that UFO's do exist. Having been so intrigued and wrapped up in the moment by what we were witnessing, neither my wife or I thought about using our smart phones to try and take a video. We hope that this post is helpful, and encourage anyone else driving on Highway 240 last night around 9:20 to also post what you have seen.

White orb speeding across the sky in eastern Washington.

My girlfriend and I stepped out on the front porch to smoke. We spotted a single glowing odd white light moving east to west at an incredible speed. It maintained a single altitude and went from horizon to horizon in under 10 seconds. It was completely silent. I estimated the altitude at 4-5,000 feet. There was a tail behind the object. It seemed to glow, and the event left us both in awe and shaken. It was almost disturbing due to the unnatural nature of the event.

Large orange light over Franklin County WA

On the evening of Tuesday July 31, 2012, I saw a single large light floating light in the sky to the east from where I live in Richland WA. It was between nine and ten pm and dark enough that I could not see the body of the object, just its lights against the dark sky. The object was on the other side of the Columbia River over Franklin County.

It moved very slowly and with no well-defined direction. The shape and color of the light seemed to change but over all the color appeared to be orange.

This was similar to the report included in the Tri-City Herald of August 2 except that I did not see individual lights. What I thought distinguished it from an aircraft were its 1) very slow speed, 2) very large light, and 3) the color of the light, which was not a well-defined white or red.

2 still lights that changed into multi colored flashing lights that changed speed and direction very quickly.

It was around 22:10 when me and a friend walked outside of his house to go on a car ride with a friend when we saw two white lights in the sky in the eastern direction that appeared to be standing still. we were amazed and we automatically thought it was a ufo. we then got in the car and we were going to drive southwest up to a nearby hill to get a better look. as we were driving we noticed that the lights started moving very fast in towards our direction and appeared to be weaving around eachother and flashing different colors such as red and purple. for a second they looked like two saucers then as we were driving further up the hill the lights slowed down and began to move north. as they slowed down they into just two red blinking lights. we noticed that at this point that the lights looked connected as if they were possibly one craft. every time the lights would blink it looked like thin beams of light would hit the ground from the blinking lights. the object or objects was moving very slowly north with what appeared to look like a gray haze around it and looked like it was getting lower to the ground then higher away from the ground and looked as if it were tilting. the lights continued to move north slowly until it was too far for us to see it.

What makes me believe this was a ufo was the fact that at first these lights were very still and weren't moving at all then started too move faster then any craft ive seen then slowed way down all of a sudden. I don't think i've ever seen a normal flying object meneuver the way i say this one meneuver. hopefully more people witnessed and reported this because this was a very unusual event.

Awoke by a vooming sound and shadow out window and looked in the sky and saw saw a fast moving object in the sky around 11:00 p.m.

Last night two children ages 10 and 12 in my house told me they were awoken by a vooming sound that woke them up and a shadow coming from the window at approx. 11:00 p.m. last night and they went to the window and saw a fast moving object in the sky around 11:00 p.m. moving across the sky really quick with constant flashing lights the colors of red, gold and white.

They reported it came from the west to the east across the sky.

We live in So. Richland, WA and they saw it out of the bedroom window. They said it did not look like an airplane.

Anyone else see this?

The girls are adamant.... Who knows..... I believe them... They both both said it was very strange

From one red line to three red balls (like red stars), to the balls to (v)(^(<), blinking red lights making a triangle.

On the night of July 20, 2010 in Richland, WA (USA) I and my husband went outside to look at the stars and noticed the moon that was beautiful. I got my iPhone G3 out to snap a few photos of it. At first I thought that I was picking up street lights or just a bad picture, that after a few more photos taken, and noticing there were no street lights or what not, I noticed there were two more bright nion red lights next to the moon.

My husband wasn't amused until he said "let me see if I can take a steady photo for you, i'm sure it's nothing." Than he took a few photos and looked at them and said " whoa, that is weird!" and handed me my phone back. There were now three objects accross from the moon and in a perfect triangle. The objects were also in triangle shapes as well the looked similar to this {^} and had red lights at the top of the point. In the last picture my husband took you can see that one of them looks like its in motion, it just blows our minds, as to all who have seen the pictures.

It was not noticable to the naked eye, I captured along with the moon what appeared to be in the first photo a red line next to the moon, in the second photo it was two triangular lights and the moon but and if looking closely at the moon it almost looks like another moon or circular something next to it, with a third red triangle appearing. What is it?

I googled extraterrestrial images and ufo's after looking at the photos again and again leaving me in curiosity and concussion. It looks Just like the triangle UFO sighting found at one time.

Fire Balls on the 4th of July over Gull Lake in Richland MI

It was the 4th of July and we were out on Gull Lake on my buddy’s speed boat. They always have great fireworks out there so we always take the boat to the middle of the lake and watch them.

This year the fireworks were not the center of the festivities, shortly after the fireworks started we noticed a strange shimmering red to orange to blue light in the distance. When it started we just thought they were fireworks or those candle lanterns.

It started getting closer the more fireworks went off, it then sped way up and was about a half inch in size in the sky. At this time it was at the edge of the Lake and would go toward the fireworks as they were being displayed at all edges of the lake from surrounding houses and boats on the lake.

The Object then sped out at a great speed till it was gone, after a few min. 3 more showed up from the south side of the lake and 1 from the East side slowing growing in size as they would get close and then moving very quickly in all directions and they look to be flickering like a flame. It resembled a fire ball. They would then have smaller ones that popped out of the first ones.

They too would grow in size and resemble the same as the first.

As the fireworks would lull and die down they seemed to get bored of checking out the fireworks and would start to leave and get smaller and smaller off to the distance, as soon as they started up again they all would return. They would come back; this went on for almost 2 to 3 hours. After the works were all done they would dance with each other over the lake as if they were playing with each other and zip back and forth the lake so fast they left streaks as they moved. Eventually Very early in the morning hours they all each one would eventually slowly seem to burn out and disappear, until they were all gone.

I saw three craft-like objects that were shades of red in the sky.

Me and my family and friends are camping rite now. I do not know the zipcode since I've never been here before. My friend and I looked at the sky and two almost circular shaped things were in the sky pretty high and clearly not an airplane. They are still there rite now. they look orange and red and yellow. A few minutes ago another one weirdly popped out of nowhere. The colors on each craft seemed to oddly spread and then go back to normal. As I'm writing this the crafts are gone now... my friend jus looked at the sky and told me there not there anymore. I'm not joking I swear. I don't know if it was ufos but its clearly a big possibility. My friend and I are 15 years old and the other people here are drunk adults so the other 8 witnesses won't be good. They were just looking at the sky laughing and saying it was probably weather balloons.

Strange light falls slowly in a spiral

First off, I don't have word processor. Delete it if you want, I felt obligated to write this. first off, I dont believe in UFOs. I find it unfeasible and unreasonable for a craft to come here. At about 12:10 AM, I saw an odd siting. I was simply sitting on my couch playing a video game, trying to fall asleep, when I saw a light outside my window. I figured it was a star, but when I looked up, it appeared to be falling. I assumed it was a shooting star, so I tried to catch it fast. I then realised the light was "fish tailing". It was falling down in a spiral fashion, not leaving a streak or anything behind it. It did not get dimmer, start to flicker, or do anything abnormal, other than spiral.

I do not know if the direction I am looking is north, but I do know that to the north of our city there is plutonium tanks that are submerged in the sand in one of the cities above us. Whether that has anything to do with it, I do not know.

10/27/07 To whom it may concern,

On September 26th 2007 we have witnessed two different unexplained UFO sighting’s by two separate people. One person has photos and the other has video.

The video is astonishing and overwhelming. It is not any sort of plane any of us have seen. The speed and direction it moved in was nothing any of us have seen.

It appeared on a clear full moon evening. It hovered directly in front of the full moon. It was a bright blue round shaped object. It hovered for some time and then shot straight up into the air.

Who should we contact to see the photos and the video? We are very serious about this.

A small silvery object seen go 0-5000 mph in a blink of an eye, in Richland, Washington.

Walking in Howard Amon park with two friends around noon. The sky was all blue and the sun was high above me. Looking over towards the I-182 bridge I noticed a bright light in the sky. Like a star and silver but within our atmosphere.

I stopped in my tracks and waited for it to move thinking it might of been a plane reflecting light. The object did not move for nearly 20 seconds as I watched. I walked over to my friend and tapped him on the arm and said "hey do you see that". As I pointed at the object the unbelievable happened. RIght when my fingertip aligned with my eye and the object it sped away at a rate of speed I couldn't not guess.

But, If I know a plane fly's at about 300-400 mph, the object I saw was going at about 5000 mph. It sped away south. Neither of my friends saw it. I am the only witness.

The owner of a restaurant near the park also has a sighting reported on here at a later date about 500 yards from where I saw mine.

At about 17:25, I was catching a ride from the office with my co-worker. As we pulled into a quiet neighbourhood where I live, I noticed two lights overhead, pretty bright but not blinding. They seemed like regular airplane lights. However, as we continued driving, about 10 seconds later the object was right above and to the right of our car, giving me a perfect view. It seemed huge. To be honest, I've never seen anything like that before. It was triangular-shaped, with 3 dim blue lights at each tip, with a steady-glowing red one in the center.

It slowly howered over the car at about 1,000 feet and gave me the strangest feeling. "Awe" is a good word to describe it, I think.

This is the first time I've seen something I could not rationally explain. It made no sound whatsoever. My friend, who saw it but couldn't observe it well enough due to the fact he was driving, suggested it was an airplane. When we stopped not even 10 seconds later to get out of the car and have a better look at it, it has already vanished. What puzzles me, is the fact that it was moving so slowly, that it should have been still right above us when we got out. The skies were clear, and there are no big trees in the neightbourhood to obstruct the view.

There is a pretty big Interstate highway junction (actually, currently under construction for expansion) half a mile away.

The object reminded me of the famous "Triangles" seend in Belgium in the 90's. To this moment I'm in a state of excitement, for this is the first time in my life I saw something I could not explain. A true UFO encounter :)

To be exact on time it started at 4:13 am , I was on my way to take my mom to the airport early flight, I came outside took three steps off my pourch an looked up because it was so clear out and lots of stars out...

when I thought so many stars together no so many lights the size was huge hard to say maybe a mile at the back in the shape of a triangle, an lights spaced apart like an office building leaves lights on at night.

I was in shock at first, then thought if I ran back inside an grabed my sister it won't be just me seeing this... so I did, an she was awaken an came running out in time to see the tail end heading north west above the columbia river then north an out of eyesight. the size was hard to grasp an no sound it was amazing.

Then Sunday I heard that on the westside there had been some events...I'm wondering if it's our's [hard to beleive] on patrol or what?

This was a very bright light above, well above, the tree tops, possibly 1-5 miles distant. I'd say it was about half the size of a dime held at arm's length. Far too bright to be a star, it caught my attention immediately as I was taking the dog out in the yard. My exact reaction was "What the hell?" I moved around the yard, watching it in relation to trees, poles, etc., and could see that it was bobbing and weaving gently (rocking motion). I planted my feet firmly and studied it in relation to stars, and it was the only thing moving. I finally went into the house and told my wife, "I know you're not going to believe this, but there's a UFO out the back." She said, "Sure, Sure." I asked her to come look, and she said, "I cannot even believe I'm getting up for this." But as we got out back, she watched it for a bit and admitted she couldn't really say what it was. I went in and got a small digital camera and snapped a few pictures of it. The best shows a round object with 'spiral arms' of light coming off it. I also took a brief 'movie' but have not had a chance to put it on the computer. On the camera, it appears blank. About 15 mins later, my wife and I left to pick up our daughter from a dance. I said, "Well, if it IS a star or planet, it will be there when we get back. If it's gone, we'll know it was something else." We returned by 11:15 and it was no where in the sky. I climbed the high back porch on our house and scanned the entire horizon and there was nothing. If this had been a star or planet, it could not have 'gone down' in such a brief span of time. I'm a meteorologist, and habitually study the sky. I feel I'm a pretty good observer. I couldn't call this a 'flying saucer' but it was certainly something airborne that was not identifiable as anything conventional. I will submit the pictures via email as soon as I can get them transferred to the computer.

in mid summer there was an ovel shinny object in the clouds over head moving silently & slowly

I was swimming with my son and daughter when I looked up in the clouds at something my children were looking at and we noticed this very shiny ovel shaped thing flying in the clouds, it was an overcasted day and there were breaks in the cloads and we say this thing come from one cload formation to the open and then back behind more cloads. It was moving really slow, had windows in the center, and was a very shiny. (It stood out like a sore thumb in the gray clouds.)

We were just kind of in ah of it and stood in the water watching it go by. it was shaped between and ovel and egg like shape. If I could draw it here for you I would.

Over the years my husband and I have seen quite a few over the handford reach area and over the columbia river.

Feb 16, 8:30PM, Blue / Green fireball moving NW to SE over Southeastern Washington State

While driving home around 8:30pm on Sunday 2/16/03 a flash caught my attention. I observed a blue green fireball moving roughly from the NW toward the SE and possibly desending. It was quite bright and had a firey tail. It dimmed momentarily and then was bright again. I lost sight of it behind a hill. The reason I thought it may be desending is I never saw it reappear from behind the hill. After the sighting I took a better look at the sky. The sky had a thin layer of clouds with some stars showing. In my opinion the object was below the cloud layer. My two daughters were in the car with me. They saw a bright flash which got their attention but did not have a clear view of the object.

Teardrop shaped object sighted over Richland Washington.

My mate and I were watching for parachute jumpers over the Richland airport when I observed what appeared to be a childs baloon at first sight. It appeared to be moving quite slow and to the northeast away from us. The object made no noise and appeared to have small wing like appendages on each side of it. Then we observed that the object appeared to be observing a Cessna jump plane in the area that was below it and slightly behind it. One of the individuals in the Cessna jumped from the aircraft and the object above it (approximately 3000 to 4000 ft.) excellerated away at an incredable speed to the northeast. There was no contrail and the only sound discernable was that of the Cessna aircraft. I questioned the pilot and occupants of the aircraft and they advised that they did not see the craft. The pilot seemed completely uninterested. This incident occurred directlty over the Richland Airport and the objects altitude was between 7000 and 10,000 ft.

I saw a bright light appear directly above me in the sky. It was moving slowly and was not a shooting star or the lights on a plane. It was about 10 times larger than the brightest star in the sky. It was traveling horizontally and remained in sight about 8 - 10 seconds before it went out.

I was on our deck about l0:00 pm leaning back in a lounge chair and looking up at the night sky. A bright light suddenly apeared directly overhead travelling from the northwest towards the southeast. It looked just like a bright flash of light that remained in sight much longer than a flash should is the best I can describe it. It was in my sight for about 8 - 10 seconds. It was moving steadily and not very fast like a shooting star would travel. It was one large light about the light density and size of 10 times the brightest star in the sky at the time. The distance that it travelled was equal to the distance from my index finger to my thumb held at arms length. It appeared instantly, moving slowly, and then went out instantly. I live near a small airport and have seen airplanes fly over my house at night so my first thought was that it was a plane. I then realized I had never seen a light on a plane that was that big or that bright, or a light that turned on and then turned off like that. It was travelling away from the airport and not towards the direction of the airport. I could not hear a plane and can hear the planes that take off and come in to land that pass over my house. We recently had 4th of July fireworks going off around town and it was not like a flare, rocket or fireworks--it did not go up and then down. It appeared to be high, directly overhead and moved horizontally in a straight line before it disappeared. It did not disappear from going out of sight into the distance but seemed to just turn off while still directly overhead.

First thought that it was a flair and then realized it was to big and moving to fast. Thought it was close enough to North Richland that it had fallen in the Columbia River or would be visible from the riverbank. Because of the size and speed thought it would be satalite debris or a metero.

Woman was returning from her parents' home with her daughter. As she rounded a curve in the road, both she and her daughter witnessed a brilliantly bright green light hovering in the sky. It then began to descend slowly to earth and disappeared from sight. Very dramatic sighting. Was approximately 1/4 the diameter of the full moon.

Night sighting of seven large luminous UFOs flying in "V" formation

Situation: At home.

Dog bolted out the front door as my dad was entering the house. I chased after the dog, caught up with him at the back yard fence, and picked him up. I was facing west. The dog was facing me, pawing at me and trying to lick me. I jerked my head back and held the dog out from me. Consequently, I looked upwards and saw a "V" formation of seven large luminous, pale yellow disks just coming up from the west side of town, and heading east, and disappearing over the eastern horizon.

I cannot comment on how high they were, nor can I comment on how large they were. They appeared to be huge, and were featureless. The disks made no sound. The disks appeared to be very close to each other. The formation did pretty much fill the sky as they went over my head.

No one whom I was acquainted with witnessed this event. It was not reported in the local paper (Tri-City Herald) nor was it mentioned on the local radio stations. I did tell my father what I saw, and he did not believe me.

I was 16 years old at the time of the sighting, an honor high school student, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. I am now 74 years old, own and manage a medical trancscription business, and I have a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. Looking back on this event, I think my description of what happened is accurate.
