Light that streaked extremely fast across a small portion of the night sky. Happened about 5 times in the exact same spot. Had no trail like a shooting star does. After this happened, a dimmer light went from the same spot and traveled North in a much slower fashion before disappearing suddenly.

While sitting in my driveway, my friend and I witnessed a large ball of light that was lime green in color fall from the sky and crash behind a large hill. When it fell behind the hill, there was a really bright flash of light.

50 UFOs flew in a straight line, perfectly spaced apart.

At approximately 8:10pm MST, around 50 flying objects which were lit up flew over our house. They were in a straight line, and perfectly spaced apart. It lasted for about 15 minutes. We were unable to film as they were too far away and it was dark outside. There was actually an airplane flying underneath them that moved slower and had the lights that an airplane does.

It was early morning as the sun was coming up.

I was coming down HWY34, from the Buffalo Chip, heading back towards town. As I was coming down this hill, the sunrise was behind me, and it lit the clouds up that were in front of me. They were dark and heavy clouds, but the sunrise made them orange, yellow, red, and purple. It was a pleasant sight, and I was watching them in awe as I was driving. Then something caught my eye. Now these clouds were very far away but this object was very visible. In those clouds sat this bullet shaped object and it was absolutely still. It didn’t sway, it wasn’t hovering, but still. It was chrome colored and I remember thinking how it was so perfect looking and that’s what made it so out of place. There were no lights on it so could not have been a plane, or a helicopter, not a drone or a weather balloon. Even all the clouds around it just sat perfectly still.

As the sun came up, light started to shine and reflect across it. It’s like as soon as that happened, it’s like it noticed me watching it. In the fastest, and smoothest manner I’ve ever seen anything move, it zipped off in the southwest direction. It was so fast that I saw it for a split second then it was gone. Like turning off a light. Now I knew it didn’t go into the clouds because I could still see the light shine across it as it moved, but it moved so fast that it was out of sight. Like moving a sparkler really fast back and forth, that’s how the light reflected on it as it moved. Like it stretched but there weren’t any streaks, or anything left behind it.

Now this happened when I was a senior in high school, so it was the fall of 2018 before it got cold or snowed.

I never told anyone about this until about a year or so ago. It was my mom and sister who I told and I described it to them in great detail but they didn’t seem too interested in it. You don’t really hear about aliens or UFOs in South Dakota. That stuff was only ever talked about in movies or by those people on the History Channel. So, I figured if I ever told anyone what I saw they probably wouldn’t have believed me or show the same amount of interest as my sister and mom.

4 silent craft in close formation, and real low!

At the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis in the campground in front of Bikini Beach.

4 silent crafts in very close formation and very low flew over at high speed. They were barely visible with only a glow, and so close it looked like they were only one craft.

One craft on the left side broke off from the others straight to the left.

Was like a fighter jet formation buzzing the campground, but silent and way fast!

Sorry about the confusing date, you got it correct though it was the 9th of this month.

I also saw a bright light just sitting in the sky like a real bright “star” and then it started moving slowly down towards the horizon.

This was on the 7th, a couple of nights before I saw the formation, the formation was just so awesome I had to look online and see if I could find any one posting about it, that’s when I found your site.

I spottted this one at the house we were were renting at the house address listed below from my post in Sturgis.

I watch the sky all the time and see plenty of satellites and this didn’t follow the normal path of any I have seen. Usually they just go straight out and disappear out of sight getting dimmer and dimmer, not down towards the horizon like this one.

I recorded it but the file is too big to email on here, can I send you a sendspace link for you to download it? Not sure if you are familiar with there service but it lets you upload larger files and then I can send you a link to download. Or if you have another way let me know.

Ball of light South West of Sturgis, Mi. looked like an extremely close and bright planet but vanished suddenly.

Was outside tonight looking to the south west when a friend and I noticed a giant orb of white light hovering in the sky making no noise.

We thought it was possibly Venus, but the light appeared to have some sort of tail like a comet, but was stationary and not moving across the sky. As we started to look it up online I noticed that it started to shrink in size suddenly to the size of a distant star and then faded into darkness. Why were we able to view it for so long sitting in one place, but then it vanishes in 10 seconds from the time that it started to shrink. We both have very good eye sight. I thought I'd look up what it was and I found this page. I spend a lot of time out in the country at night gazing at the stars while out hunting coyotes. I can tell the difference between a jet, helicopter, ect. I can't explain this one.

Anyhow, last week while hunting in Laporte, IN, I saw 2 balls of light just like this one over Kingsbury FWA. I wish I would have ! got pictures. Oh well. Anyone else see the light tonight SW of Sturgis, Mi?

moving light in sky for over two hours

My husband and I, and friends were camping at a field in Sturgis,Mi. It was a biker event for children.

We were sitting around the campfire (2:00 a.m.) and observed in the sky a light darting around. At first we figured it was a kite by the darting motions it made.

After watching it do other maneuvers we ruled that out. I took my camera out and attempted to take pictures. Not knowing whether anything would show up because the object was so high.

I watched for at least 2 hours and it was still there in the sky when I went to sleep.

When I arrived home I downloaded the pictures and with zoom it appears that there were two crafts not one and in a circular shape. Also, some kind of trails that I can't explain.

We were at the sturgis motorcycle rally that year and were sitting out on our deck late at night. We saw a light way up in the sky that was vaguely circular. The light flashed red green blue and yellow and moved very fast and changed directions fast and sharp like no aircraft I have ever seen.

We saw this for a minute or so and then saw 2 military jets fly by in pursuit above our rental home.

A ufo consisting of 2 white lights moving north easterly over I-90 near Piedmont, SD. Sighted on June 10, 2004

While driving to work at 11:28 at night, I was near mile marker 38 heading east on Interstate 90 when I noticed two white lights about 15' apart flying northeasterly and to the north east of the interstate. this put them roughly over the hills that run in the area (about 100' above the hill), there were no discernable running lights or anything to indicate it was an airplane. the object was watched until it disapeared over the hill and no longer in view. One other thing I noticed also was the radio fading in and out while the object was in view.

I WAS IN BED AND I COULDN'T SLEEP SO I WAS LOOKING OUT MY WINDOW HOPING TO SEE A DEER, WHEN A BRIGHT LIGHT IN THE THE SKY. THINKING AT FIRST IT WAS A HELECOPTER. I WATCGED IT FOR A MINUTE. REALISING THAT IT WAS UP TO HIGH FOR A HELECOPTER. I THEN THOUGHT IT WAS A JET FOR SOMERAESON HAD NOT TURNED OFF THIER LIGHTS. WHEN ALL OF SUDDEN IT TOOK A SHARP TURN SUOTH. ONLY TO COME BACK INTO VEIW SECONDS LATER, TAKING ANOTHER SHARP TURN TO THE EAST, THEN BACK TO THE WEST, IT THEN BEGAN TO GO INTO CIRCLES, IT REPEADED THIS ABOUT THREE OR FUOR TIMES BEFORE IT SPEEDED AWAY NORTH AND OUT OF SIGHT.

triangle shaped craft flies over campground in sturgis south dakota

Friends as well as myself have just arrived late in Sturgis S.D., and were setting up camp at buffalo chips camp ground But being late as it was we did not set up the tents and such. It was a clear night so we chose to just lay our sleeping bags on the flat bed trailer, So I was just laying there admiring the stars, my eyes had ajusted to the darkness and the night sky was full of beautifull stars, when I noticed an object flying direcly overhead and traveling at 100 plus miled per hour, It was triangular shaped but I could not see the skin of the ship, it was visable only because of the stars being blocked out . Under the craft there were three rectangle shapes , one in the front, two in the back these were of a very dim red color, I would not have been able to see this craft at all If my eyes were not adjusted to the darkness. this craft flew directly over the camp ground and was heading straight for sturgis, now I was there for the Bike rally, so I am assuming that this event was the atraction of the craft, I also believe that this craft is man made, possibly military or some powerfull corperate entity, there is no question that this was an unconventional craft, and I am assuming that the rectangular objects under the craft are the propulsion units possibly EMP style

They could have been traveling by power from magnetic fields, they appeared to slip through the sky.

These disk were sighted as I turned off Highway 25 South on to the Craig Spring Road, South of Starkville, Mississippi. The Moon was very bright and just before making my right turn I glanced up and there they were. They looked to be approximately 20 feet in diameter, shaped like a disk, they looked silver in color,I didn't see any lights on these things, they were traveling West. They seemed to be about100 yards apart, one was leading the way and the other one was following. As I traveled West on the Craig Spring Road, they were traveling West on the South side of the Craig Springs Road. After watching them for approximately 4 minutes they had gotten far away and looked the size of a half dollar. With the bright Moon and the silver color of these things they had a kind of glow and could be seen easily.
