bright blue orb that moved away very fast then disapeared

I was driving south on byhalia road and I was looking up in front of me at the stars that were out on a slightly cloudy night. I noticed a bright blue light that was quite far away but it was about five times brighter than the brightest star. It was high in the sky and remained motionless until I looked directly at it, then the light accelarated back and up at a tremendous speed until it disapeared. I do not really believe in ufo stuff but I cannot shake the fact that I saw this so plainly. I am absolutely convinced that due to the speed, color, and brightness that this was absolutely not a plane or helicopter.

On September 29th 2007, around 6:30P.M.,Myself and my Wife were traveling west on Highway 78 in Byhalia Mississippi. The Sun was bright when I looked into the sky and saw about 5 Jet Planes. I stopped looking. I started to explain to my Wife how Jet Planes operate. My Wife started looking into the sky, and that's when she spotted what appeared to like a huge, chrome, bowl shaped object almost in the middle of the Jet Planes. My wife told Me to look at it, and she asked me if I knew what it was. I could not explain what it was, but it was something that we had never seen before. It stayed in the same spot for about 10 seconds. It got smaller as it went up into the atmosphere, which took about 5 seconds.

disked shape, black except for blinding bright lights, does not fly as high as commercial jets

It was at night and all the stars were out, but then i noticed one moving. i thought it was a falling star at first but it looked peculiar. i went and got some binoculars and looked it was so bright i could see it clearly it moved back and forth very quickly. it was a disked shape, and black except for the lights. i thought about reporting it but i was afraid nobody would believe me. it was not as high as jet airliners because i could see them flying over it. i live by a airforce base and my thoughts are some type of a secret test craft was being held.
