2 very fast/swift moving lights sometimes stationery, moving independently of each other but close together.

2 bright white lights equivalent to Venus's brightness when it is fully visible before dawn, or an aircraft headlights when off in distance heading right at you as it descends for landing. No blinking lights or colored lights. They were moving independently, but stayed within 5 or 10 degrees of each other. They were stationary at times, like a hovering helicopter (which is what I thought they were at first), and then one would suddenly move super fast (faster than anything i have ever seen move), a short distance (5 or 10 deg) either horizontally or slightly vertically. A few times one or both would completely disappear instantly, and then reappear in a slightly different location instantly. At first I thought it must be moving clouds covering them up…, but although there were some heavy clouds visible to the south and west, there were no clouds to the east yet (clouds moved into the east hours later). They remained for approx. 5 minutes appearing and disappearing every 20 seconds or so, and then disappeared for 3 minutes or so before reappearing and lasting another 5 minutes before disappearing and not returning. My house is situated on 2,000 acres of wetlands with no trees to the south or east for 4 miles, so I have a clear view of the eastern and southern horizons and sky. I often observe coast guard and police rescue helicopters hovering over the water, searching for boaters…as well as aircraft approaching from the south (over ocean) to land at nearby Islip airport (to the north west), and observe many meteors (especially last week!) due to my clear sky view, this was NOT any of these or drones as they were too far away and too bright and moving way to fast. I viewed these with both naked eye, and through a 80mm spotting scope. I checked on the live aviation “radar” FlightAware24 ipad application for any aircraft in the area during the viewing, there were no aircraft anywhere near hear at the time. 1 aircraft was over Nantucket island (~200 miles east)westbound to JFK from Leig in Europe, and an aircraft was on final approach to JFK airport (100 miles to west). The image attached is the view looking east in the daytime of where I observed it from. The tree line in the distance is 2.5 miles away.

Very low flying large object. You could hear a hum. Rounded nose cylindrical slight flare near tail. Belly was dark with white area.

Very low flying extremely low flying object. No “wings”. Light at front and rear. Couldn’t really see object because of darkness but could see it’s shape from it being solid against a somewhat cloudy sky. What you could see was dark however at rear there was a white area. You could hear a hum of engine. Definitely not a plane unless a large cargo but no wings.

I was smoking a cigarette on my porch 1:40 am. Looking at the starless atlanta city sky when I saw two twinkling objects which i stared harder at just above the trees. After staring longer they looked like they were hovering in place. Saucer shaped green and red lights. Ram inside because I felt like they saw me and then poof gone.

4 stationary lights in the sky, two on each side of moon.

I was walking home from my boyfriend’s house and noticed a beautiful red moon. As I took a photo of it I noticed there were at least 2 unidentifiable stationary objects in the sky. It could have been one on each side of the moon, each with two very bright lights or 4 (2 on each side of the moon) each with one light. I’m not sure but I am certain they didn’t belong there. I took the picture and continued walking home. Once I turned the corner the objects were out of site and so was the moon.

Glowing hovering multi colored sphere hovering above main st school brookhaven.

I was taking my dog for a late night routine walk when I seen this glowing ball of light hovering behind the main st elementary school woods. I was a block away when I heard this strange oddly pitched humming.

Then when I looked up there was this huge ball of light which glowed beyond the woods horizon. It glowed a firey red, then to orange, yellow, green, blue.

After watching it for about five minutes floating there, it descended beyond the tree line and my vision.

I know it was no flare and it defied gravity/was giving out a strange noise. My dog was also whinning and pulling on the leash to leave the area.

My employee and his wife witnessed two lights in the sky that lingered for most of an hour before disappearing.

This was witnessed by one of my employees and his wife while my employee was working the graveyard shift last night.

At approximately 0400 US central time, my employee walked outside of the plant for a security check. He observed due east of our location a pulsating light in the sky that at first appeared to be a star or planet. From his perspective it was about the same size as a bright star or planet like Venus, but again, the light was pulsating from relatively dim to bright, back to dim then back to bright, etc. The apparent altitude was about two fingers' width above the horizon.

After he had been watching it for about 20 minutes off and on (he was in and out of the plant checking operations) his wife arrived to bring him some food while on her way to work. This was at about 0430. They were both watching it when she spotted a second almost identical pulsating light that he hadn't previously seen move from the north side of the original object to its south side.

After the second object moved to the south side of the first object, the first object started to move higher into the sky, as though gaining altitude without moving in any other direction, forward, backward, or sideways. He started thinking that the lights may have been helicopters, but he had the further impression that if they had been helos they were close enough that he could've heard their engine or rotor noise.

After the first object increased its altitude about two to three times what it had been previously, it became stationary. The one that had moved south of it was stationary the whole time the first object was moving. After the first object once again became stationary for a few minutes, the second object to the south slowly descended until it was no longer visible above the horizon. It was not seen again.

Several minutes after the second object disappeared below the horizon, the first object started moving slowly to the south, gradually gaining speed until reaching an apparent speed comparable to what is observed of a jet aircraft at high altitude. Within 30-45 seconds the object was no longer visible, having passed the southern horizon.

Total time of observance was about 45 minutes to one hour. During the entire time there was no discernible sound coming from either object. Background noise from the plant was minimal.

We have recommended that the witnesses look again, and determine whether the objects they witnessed might have been "twinkling" stars, possibly the star, Sirius. PD

I saw a star like object moveing in swearls with light on and off

I am located in stonybrook hospital overnight for my son worried I started to stare outside and just was watching the stars when I saw a light like if it was a star moveing but it was swirling and it was beaming light it had red color and it was moveing wierd when a airplane was in the sky toi it stood stil then it when baack to play then a second one appeard I am located on the 11 floor it could deff be seen clear am frecked out its the fist time am not sure what it was doing but onne thing for sure it not normal it left lines

My Aunt and I saw 16 big, round, bright orange lights flying SILENTLY at about helicopter level heading East. They were flying slowly together in perfect unison, but in no particular order or shape.

At first I thought it was one huge (about 2 football fields long)object, but I THINK they were separate objects...then, after about 2 minutes, they, in no specific order, one-by-one, sometimes two at a time, just disappeared. They moved so perfectly together and did not sway or waiver at all. They definitely were not balloons or planes or flares or anything that we've ever seen. They also had to have some sort of silent engines because they were 'powered' through the sky.

Made a believer out of me!

Wierd neon green object.

It was a clear night and I was standing outside having a cigaret when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I looked up and saw a neon green spherical object. It was heading pretty much due south towards the Atlantic. I think it was a meteor, but the odd thing was its speed. It seemed to be traveling way too slow to be a shooting star , but way too fast to be an aircraft. Now, I'm a pilot and I'm aware of the fact that altitude has a lot to due with how fast something seems to be moving, but I think whatever this was remaned in the upper atmosphere the whole time I saw it. The reason I say this is because it never really got close to the horizon before it faded out.

Strange noise bothering my dogs came from a hovering triangular light

I just left my one little dog, 'Bear' inside and put my German Sheppard, 'Boss' out between 12:10 - 12:15. That is when Bear came tearing into the house..Boss and I went outside and she quickly retreated to the door as she whimpered to go back inside. I notice a strange noise and looked around to see where it was. Then I saw it, it was one triangular shaped, white light, it seemed large, although it was pretty high up, I could still hear the terrible high-pitched noise it was making. It hovered there for only a few seconds and then it took off, and I mean ''Took Off !!'' It went straight up until it disappeared out of site.
