Multicoloured stationary light

I was sitting on my porch lighting a cigarette when I noticed this bright light to the East/North East of Benton, KY. I noticed after about 3 minutes that it was stationary and flashing different colors. I used my camera phone to record a video of it, and then thought that it might be good to check my aviation programs to see if I could identify it.

As an avid aviation watcher I immediately used flight aware, drone radar, and night sky tracker verifying that it was not an aircraft, satellite, planet, or star.
I flashed my flashlight at it 3x paused 3x paused 3x. It immediately started flashing and blinking like crazy. I started to video it again noting the date, time, and location. I stopped recording with 1 minute and 13 seconds of video, and as I tried to stop the recording my phone started acting weird and the video was lost, and the phone had to be restarted. I was continuing to watch it light while my phone restarted, and I tried to reopen my camera app. Before I was able to get it recording, the light faded which took about 1.5-2 seconds. All that I was left with was an 8 second video of it from before I tried to interact with it.

I have an Associate of Science degree in Engineering. I also have to disclose that I have had many many sightings including up close and personal. I have not undergone hypnosis to see how much and how close.

3 dim stars in the shape of a triangle rotating slowly

We saw 3 dim white light star looking dots that made 3 points onto a triangle. The space between the lights was the same distance. All rotated slowly clockwise together as if they were one object. Then all 3 lights stopped, the top light stayed as the bottom 2 lights started to move farther apart, one going left, the other right. Then lost track of them. They were no brighter than the other stats in the sky and all the same size as the stars in the sky too.

I was walking my dog, and noticed what I thought for a moment was an airplane, but it was all lit and had a tail behind like a jet would have. But it was very bright unlike an airplane. I kept watching it, then it was coming down at an angle. So I thought it was a meteor. But then it made a sharp angle to the right. After a few seconds more it disappeared.

Watched a silent craft/ball of light that changed in intensity appear from the West several thousand feet up. Headed towards Eastern sky. Object seemed intelligent as it stopped a brief moment. After I noticed it. Something told me to look up for some strange reason. That’s when I saw it slow to an abrupt stop. Before continuing on in an eastern trajectory. It wasn’t a plane or a satellite. Object had a slight left to right wiggle to it and seemed to be under control by intelligent forces.

Craft moving and slightly wiggling left to right traveling in one direction

Ball of light that moved from northeast to southwest. No sound. Very high in atmosphere possibly above or around 40,000ft. The ball of light possibly a disc disc shaped. However too far it verify size. Traveled slightly faster than any commercial or private air craft. The UFO traveled in a wiggling almost swerving motion from the northeastern sky to the southwestern skyline at a 90 degree angle nearly directly overhead. Hard for most people to notice without Looking directly up. It had a wiggling motion almost from side to side as it continued its linear path. It did not stop, However it seemed to speed up and slow down constantly while it moved. The wiggling or slight side to side jerking motion is what stood out about the object. Making it clearly stand out. I have seen several of these from the comfort of my backyard on several occasions and rarely report them. I have seen some balls of light performing the same exact wiggle. And even respond with swelling light in intensity when talking out loud to them. I know it sounds crazy. But it’s completely true. There is much out there we still have limited knowledge of. And all things are possible, especially the impossible. Thank you for your time. I gladly give any professionals permission to visit my home and record these UFO’s whenever they would like. As the frequency of this phenomenon occurs. Triangular shaped craft silently skating/ flying over house and neighborhood

Briefly glance up to see the stars and noticed a dark triangular shaped flying vehicle approximately 300 too 500ft above the ground. It was directly over my house flying from 157•SE to roughly 339•N. The craft did not make a sound. I could see the inside of the ship on one side. However could not make out any discernible feature of people or inhabitants. The point of the triangle was forward. It made no sound. Ran to grab wife, she was stunned as I was. She pointed out the ship had a wobble to it. Like I slight wiggle effect as I quietly skated towards the North. There were no clouds it was a clear night and stars were out.the craft had yellow to white lights on it. But no green or red blinking indicator lights as required by the FAA. I did notice two Aircraft keeping quite a distance from the craft. However they flew in a scattered formation while maintaining a massive distance from the craft. The two planes were very high in altitude and I could hear their! engines when they turned back around to echo the flight pattern of the UAP. I have never seen a triangular shaped craft. Seconds after the UAP skated out of my line of sight. I witnessed a second UAP. The second one appeared as a ball of light. It faded into existence well lit with an orange to yellow/white glow. It was extremely high altitude. Potentially outside of earths atmosphere. It skated across the sky for a few seconds. The distance was enormous. It then abruptly stopped in place. With a wiggling effect changed its direction continued on for a second and faded away as if it had disappeared. I see these orbs and other UAP’s over The vicinity of my backyard for several years now. I often can simply lay back in a chair and watch the show so to speak. My wife saw the first craft. I have never seen a triangular shaped UAP. It didn’t make any noise and was not very high up. I believe it could have been a military vehicle. As most of the UAP’s I have witnessed over the years seem to give off a vibration or energy of unnatural. Or not of this earth. This triangular shaped craft. Felt like something we made and were testing. Even though it did have a strange wiggle and did scare my wife. The sensation felt human to me. Still Very fascinating and I hope this helps. Thanks

Two to three objects seemingly intelligently operated. Stopped then swelled in size with large flash and streak of light.

Upon looking up while taking my dogs out to relieve themselves. I looked up into the southwestern sky from my back yard. It is a rural area and very low light pollution which provides for a clear view of the nights sky. I was admiring the beauty of the stars when my attention was quickly drawn towards a small and very dim star. To my surprise the star started moving from it’s Fixed location. It then stopped. Another started moving from its fixed location and then passed the previous star. The objects were very high in altitude. I am not certain as to how high up. But further then most commercial airliners. They were not airplanes. They resembled a star or a burning sphere. There were no trails on these two crafts that skated across the sky with ease. I am not certain as to why I did this. But I flicked my lighter at the objects. The one that continued moving past the object/star that sat still. Suddenly and very lively swelled to three times its size. Before! flashing and disappearing. The object that had sat for about twenty seconds without going dim or lighting up. Finally started moving after the other object disappeared. It too then evaporated into nothingness almost like a dimmer switch was turned down. I was excited and stayed staring into the same sector, scanning with hope I would see something again. To my surprise the was a large flash coupled with a streak across the same area near where I had just viewed these objects. It was what most people would consider a shooting star. But it didn’t really feel like it was that to me. It was blue to white and shot very rapidly towards the same direction the objects had disappeared to.

Strange light in KY

Fell asleep on the couch at 12:30AM. Was woke by my dog barking and growling at the back door at approximately 5:15AM. Looking outside I saw a singular dim light move slowly to the right and then to the left and it disappeared. The light was not broken by the trees, I saw no disturbance in the snow in the woods. From where I stood to where I saw the light there is a dramatic slope which means the light had to have been in the air.

ok. How are you or youll. 1st off this really isnt my thing. i myself am very up in the air about what the ufo's may or may not be. this case isnt about seeing something flying around or such.

I was on one of my jobs, a restaurant roof top. While up there out of my perrifial view i caught a slight flash of a sort in the direction of the soon to be setting sun. I turned to look but couldn't because what ever it is was in the direction of the sun. so i resided to take a couple of pictures in the direction of the sun, planning to look at them when it crossed my mind again. The following day i did just that and sure as a turd is brown there is something there. Now im not talking about something obscure or difficult to make out, its there, plain as day. The half dozen people ive had look at this are very quickly astounded by it because its simply not what myself or anyone else was expecting to see. I cant state that it's a ship or even something that is mobile in any respect. It's a series of circles, one inside the other from larger tom smaller. its definitely not a cloud and its material or structure is very uncertain. I guess im just hoping others will see this and ! who knows may know some thing.

Have you ever read the book of Enoch? well in that book Enoch is speaking to an Angel, i think Gabriel. Any way Enoch asked this Angel what was it he was looking at that appeared like some type of Spiral something. The Angel replied, this is how we travel from place to place. This is what is in the picture resembles, to me any way. I will send you the original pic and ill send another with it pointing to the object. I was taking long exposure pictures of Sirius/Orion's belt/Betelgeuse, when I noticed something flying near my field of view from the south. At first glance it looked like a kite, triangular in shape and white in color.

It flew northbound and when it was directly above me, I knew it wasn't a kite, drone, or bird. There were no lights on the object and no sound.

It disappeared shortly after into the clouds (partly cloudy that night) and I heard the birds in that direction start to chirp wildly.

My camera was mid exposure on a 30 second shot and the object flew just outside the left side of the frame. Unfortunately, even with an ultra wide 14mm lens on at the time, I was unable to capture anything.

The whole event lasted no longer than 10 seconds.

Red/Orange orb, moves in strange ways

I saw an orange-red orb floating high in the sky. It zipped by at a fast speed, then slowly did a ‘figure eight.’ It would then stay put for a few seconds before slowly hovering, sometimes in a straight line, and other times in odd directions. It was still there when I decided to go inside.

This my fourth sighting of this same phenomena. They date back to the summer of 2009. The sightings are always in the same spot in the sky (from my vantage point), and on at least one other occasion, there were several of these same orbs, floating together--the most I’ve ever seen were four orbs at a time. During two of these sightings, the orbs disappeared and reappeared in unison.

At a glance, this orb could easily pass for a very bright star, but if observed for more than five seconds, it is plain to see that it is definitely not a star. It is the same color as the sun, dims and brightens in a pulsating fashion, and moves in odd ways.

I went out back on my patio to smoke and was on the phone with my gf , I looked to the NE and above the treeline I saw 2 very bright white lights at a diagonal shape, with a darker cigar shape in between the lights, the UFO was moving extremely slow descending drop and I called my 12 year old son out to see, he came out and about 5 seconds later the lights slowly faded out and we could see nothing. At 542 pm Central time, my son and I witnessed 2 army black hawk helicopters in our area. I called and left my number and name, please contact me.

Driving down the road we saw a blue light and a object fly over the car.

We were driving down highway 411. When we noticed a object in the sky that appeared as a star, get brighter then we saw what it looked like red fumes coming out of it. We stopped the car to look at it but then we got back into the car and started driving down the road. As we were driving passengers saw a blue light and a object fly over the car when I turned back to look at it from the back window we saw a circular disk flying down the road.

As I was sitting in my car I notice out of the corner of my eye a very large bright white light that seemed to be moving very fast across the sky towards the left of my vision. It only appeared briefly before dissapearing into a small red ball and then completely vanished.

Cylinder shaped UFO with lights hovering above tree line in Benton, Arkansas.

On June 22nd of 2010, at 12:36 a.m., my brother and I witnessed a UFO flying in Benton, Arkansas.

I went outside to smoke and my brother came with me to keep me company. As soon as we stepped outside, before I could light my cigarette, a UFO flew past us.

It made this eerie factory like sound that I’ve never heard any plane or other aircraft make before. That’s what initially drew my attention.

We looked up to see this cylinder shaped UFO flying right above our tree line, closer to the ground than anything has ever flown above our house. We live right in the middle of town, so aircraft stays pretty high up.

It had three green flashing lights and 2 red flashing lights on the underside. It had no wings, and flew at a speed faster than anything I’ve ever seen fly before.

As soon as my brother and I witnessed it, the UFO was out of our sight.

4 bright green circles high in the sky going in circles then one bright green light at my front door.

There was a bright green light at my front door. In a few mintures went right over my house. There were 4 green circles. They were very distinct and just kept going in circular motions. I looked into the sky and they went on over. I set back down thinking maybe it was some sort of advertising. I was sitting up alone right after midnight New Year's eve. I sat back down and there is the bright green light so bright it lit up my whole front door through the glass. I looked out the dining room window which is beside the door and it disapeared. I sat back down and the bright green light was at the front door again. I opened it and it just disapeared again. It was so bright, it lit up my house inside. 4 green circles that went over the lake circling themselves.

Bright lit aircraft descends, and vanishes without a trace.

I was facing north on my driveway talking on the telephone. It was a clear night, and unseasonably warm for December. In the sky north of Benton I saw a orb of light descend quickly towards the ground. It moved at a speed which is unlike I have ever seen any typical aircraft. The light was a solid bright yellow, and had to be within a mile from where I was standing. The craft moved rapidly down, and abruptly stopped still above a tree line. It wasn't too far from the ground when it stopped, probabley 50' above the trees. The aircraft then flashed slightly brighter, and disappeared. No noise. No trail. It vanished.

My husband and I were sitting on our front steps. Our lot is almost completely covered with very large, tall pine trees which obscures much of the sky.

I was looking down and he was looking upward when this flash of blinding blue light came from the tree tops.

We quickly looked around to determine if one of our neighbors had a spotlight or flashlight out, but the rest of our street was quiet. There was no noise associated with the light and upon running to the end of our driveway, to have a look at the clear night sky, we did not observe anything, identified or not.

Very large and long rusty bolt type craft came through the clouds in broad daylight.

While driving on a country road to my deer stand something told me to look up at a very steep angle through the wind shield. When i looked up i saw a circle or hole open up in the clouds. This hole became very intense pink in color. Then a very large cylinder shape thing started coming out of the pink hole.This thing or craft look to be extremely long. At that same time, this rusted bolt(is what it looked like )seperated in the middle and all sorts of windows became visible. The next instant, two things happened. All shapes and sizes of anti started appearing all over the bolt.

At that same time all shapes and sizes of smaller craft came from the bolt. It looked like a bee hive . When i look on to the road to see where i was going and looked back to see the bolt, it was gone.

3 white lights in a semi-circular pattern high over Western KY, moving at different speeds from S to N, then E, then N before disappear

April 21, 2007 around 10:05 PM CST Clear, cloudless night, sparsely populated rural area however neighbor’s security lights cause some light pollution, i.e. glare but stars can still be seen plainly.

I was standing outside in my front yard waiting for my dog to return from using the bathroom and looked directly overhead. Several times in the past I’ve been able to watch a satellite crossing the night sky near the same time of night. The satellite always moves across the sky in a consistent straight flight path from West to East at a speed much faster than airplanes but much slower than meteors.

However when I looked up tonight the Big Dipper constellation was to my left when I noticed 3 distinct white lights of slightly dimmer brightness than the satellite (which is as bright or brighter than most stars) and even dimmer than some of the stars. The lights were in a pattern shaped loosely like this ) pointing Northward. At first they appeared to be standing still.

Then as I continued to watch they began to move very, very slowly toward the North and as they moved they began to pick up speed, and then abruptly slowed again. As one staying in the same ) shaped pattern they changed direction from moving South to North to moving toward the East. They moved a short distance in an Easterly direction stopped then turned to face north again then separated until they were in a straight line then one by one they seemed to fly upward and disappear. The entire incident lasted between 3 and five minutes.

The sole witness I’m a 43 year old former manager of a medical Practitioner who’s been on medical Disability since 2005. Though my illness prevents me from working it doesn’t have any adverse effects on my thinking, reasoning, nor does it interfere with my sight.

yellow/orange lights, flicker in the eastern sky. I reported this about 3 years ago, by ph and this forum. they last 5 to 10 mins. they appear, flicker about 5 min , then fade out. then re-appear in a different spot, but close to the same spot, sometimes there are more lights sometimes less each time they come back .I have been seeing them for about 10 years.at the time I first reported there were no other reports on this sight from my area. now there is another report and I need to contact these people so we can try to trianglate( i know thwt is not spelled right), anyway we need to get a closer idea of where they are.

WHILE AT MARCUM BRANCH BEACH AT REND LAKE NEAR BENTON, IL (07/05/03) AT 4 PM CST, TWO ROUND LIHGTS WERE SPOTTED MOVING ACROSS THE SKY FROM S TO N PERFECTLY PARALLEL TO EACH OTHER. ESTIMATED ALTITUDE 10K-15K. EST. SPEED 5OO MPH. THERE WAS AN AIRPLANE CARRYING THREE SKYDIVERS TRAVELING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AT APROX.3K AND CLIMBING WHEN THE OBJECTS CROSSED OVER THEM. THE SKYDIVERS JUMPED OUT JUST SECONDS LATER. WE COULD TELL THE OBJECTS WERE NOT AIRPLANES OR ANY CONVENTIONAL AIRCRAFT. THEY MADE NO SOUND OR CONTRAILS. THERE WERE NO WINGS OR RUNNING LIGHTS VISIBLE FROM THE FRONT, SIDES, OR BACK OF THE OBJECTS. THEY SEEMED TO BE REFLECTING LIGHT FROM THE AFTERNOON SUN AS THEY WERE WHITE AND SHIMMERING. OBJECTS WERE CERTAINLY NOT NATURALLY OCCURING PHENOMENA SUCH AS METEORS. THEY WERE HOPEFULLY WITNESSED BY SOME OF THE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AT THE BEACH FOR THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY SIX HOURS LATER. Small orange orb hovering in lawn

I was laying awake in bed attempting to sleep and for I guess curiosities sake I decided to look out the window by my bed. Peering through the blinds I saw what appeared to be a little larger than a beach ball sized bright orangish orb that looked to be spinning and hovering in place about 30-40 feet away from my window. I was very frightened by this and after staring for a few seconds, I looked away and closed my eyes.

Not wanting to believe what I saw, I quickly looked out again and it was still there, hovering and spinning like before. Convinced and thoroughly frightened, I laid down and closed my eyes and just hoped whatever it was would go away, and what felt like minutes passed before I heard what sounded like a jet flying right beside my house.

I looked outside again for the last time, and it was gone. In hindsight, the jet might have been Barksdale AFB chasing after this object. It was definitely a surreal experience.

orange or yellow glows (like flares). appear in the Eastern sky, sometimes move, then just go out. This has been going on for about a year now. I have seen as many as 15, and as few as 1 at a time. Goes on every night for time, then dosen't happen agian for about 2 or 3 mo. Any one seeing this in this area please report. this has been going on for so long, I can't beleave someone else has not seen them in or around the county. Several people have seen this from my home.

It was a very nice evening on September 15th, 1992. It was twilight. I was a, 9 year old, who loved to ride around on our Murray riding mower around on our hill in the middle of Benton since I was now big enough to get it started & pretend mow. We had about 7 acres in the middle of town which was a large hill with about 5 acres of field behind it that I rode my little dirk bike around in. This night I was on the front side of our property facing the electric company while pretending to mow the hill. I will remember this moment for the rest of my life as it seemed to be the beginning of a series of regularly occurring events that have plagued me, and my family since.

Like I stated earlier, I was mowing the upper side of the hill to the south west of our ranch style house . The riding mower suddenly just died. I tried to restart it, but nothing. Like it had a completely dead battery. My mother had come out to get me because it was getting dark, and she wanted me to stop & come inside. When she called my name from about 50’ up the hill next to our house, I looked towards her. That is when fear & panic encompassed every fiber of my being.

Behind her over our field behind a pear tree, clear as day, hovering about 20 feet above the ground was a cigar shaped UFO with lights only around the center of it that seemed to go back & forth from the ends to center & back, quickly & smoothly. I was so scared that I left the mower right there. I ran up to my mother, grabbed her by the hand, & forcefully pulled her into our house through the kitchen door, which was on the east side of the middle of our house. I remember I kept looking at it, never once looking where I was going backwards because I was too afraid to stop looking at it.

Once I got her pulled into the kitchen through the door, I locked the door, & started to panic & cry. I told my mom to sit on the couch & not move. I grabbed my 4 year older brother who was in the floor of the living room watching tv, & I told him to do the same & to not move. I ran to my bedroom, & I grabbed my BB gun, thinking that this was somehow going to save us. I stood at the kitchen door with my BB gun trained on the door, too afraid to move away from it. My mom & brother came to see what I was doing & why I was so terrified. I tried to explain, & my mother seemed to get it right away, as I think she took the gun & told me & my brother to stay right there. I don't remember seeing my dogs inside of the house.

I can’t remember anything past that.

About a month later, we were going to the Calvert City Drive-In to watch a movie & eat. I was sitting in the rear driver’s side where I always sat staring out the window. We passed a field to our left, & I saw it again. Tucked away behind the tree line. It could only have been only 80 feet away. The exact same thing.

Ever since I have noticed that I have severe insomnia & anxiety, & monthly I experience new places on my body that look like small scars, puncture marks, weirdly geometric shaped “freckles”, & small masses that disappear after a year or so. When I told my mother about what exactly I saw that night years later at around 16 years old, she told me about when she was growing up in the house that this happened in, she would have little people coming to her window all of the time. She remembers it going all the way back till she was in a crib.

Now that I have my own child, a three year old daughter, that I have noticed events similar to what I experienced happening to my daughter & possibly my wife, as changes in mood, & my daughter’s newly found fear of sleeping alone again as well as the dark. I fear that the cycle has started with her as she has mentioned “scary kids at night”, along with night terrors.

Round object, appearing the undeside of a suacer, hovered near me, then silently "whisked"off across the sky at an amazing speed.

I have only told friends about this event. I have never reported it officially. As I see more and more reports on the television, I felt obliged to report this event.At my rural home, in the evening, I was sitting on my front steps. It was a summer evening and the sky was clear excpet for a few pink clouds on the horizon. Silently and from out of nowhere an object resembling the bottom of a plate or saucer appeared out of my periferal vision. It hovered if front of me across the road, still no sound for about a minute. As I watched, it suddenly "whisked or zoomed" at an amazing speed, much to agile for any aircraft. I've never seen anything like this before. The most amazing thing to me was inspite of the large size, uncanny speed and the fact that it hovered, was the stark silence. I knew that instant I saw it, that is was a UFO. I never felt compelled to convince anyone, just relate it to a few friends. I understand now why some people who see UFo say they didn't really care whether anyone believed them or not; that they knew instincively what it was. This was my experience. I have never seen anything like this before or since. I am a registered nurse, mom, wife.

Reflective spherical object on or above my car going with the flow and then took off with now noise and no lights.

My wife and I were on our way home to Winslow. She was pregnant and ready to give birth any day. As we were driving in the country, I noticed something above our car hovering or sitting on the roof. I leaned forward and saw a reflective spherical object just outside my windshield like it was sitting on my car. I would speed up and it stayed with us. My wife, who I am divorced from now saw the same thing. When we came to a large hill that dipped down, it flew away from the drivers side and continued to the horizon with no noise and no lights. This shook me up for days and I haven't said anything about this until today.

To Whom It May Concern: After watching a show on UFO sightings on History Channel, I’m motivated to tell of this event.

I, along with some friends have seen something we cannot explain. This is not a hoax, yet may be easily explained.

The event took place in Western Kentucky some time in approximately 1974. My friends and I were walking to a camping sight at night. We were in a large open field, approx 30 acres. We had a good view of a clear night sky.

One friend says: "look at that!" In the sky was an orange light that looked like an ember from a fire. Its movement also resembled an ember rising up off of a fire. We looked around 360 degrees and saw no fire anywhere. We watched this ‘ember’ fly across the sky, rising and falling and looping around until it had flown out of sight behind the tree line.

Observations: It looked and moved like a glowing ember off of a fire.

It was not close to the ground and appeared to be extremely high in the sky, or even in space. We really couldn’t tell for sure what its altitude was.

There was only one.

Its color and brightness didn’t appear to change, though it did have tiny sparks flying off it, as if wind was blowing on it.

Though we live in the quite countryside, we could hear no sound coming from it.

Saucer shaped object in daytime nearly landed next to me. When my mother ran out to me, it flew away.

I was a small boy when this event happened to me. This took place in late summer around 6:30 p.m. It was in the evening and still light outside. This was at my grandparents farm. They were away on a trip and my mother and I went out to water plants and feed the dogs for them. My mother was inside watering the plants. I was outside by myself when all of a sudden I looked up and saw this silver object come over the house and out to the back between the house and barn. I think it was going to land. It was a silver object with a dome in the center and round windows all around it. It made no sound except a humming sound. It began a slow decent around 25 feet from me. All of a sudden my mother comes running out of the house towards me. At this time the craft was maybe 15 or 20 feet from the ground. As my mother neared me it began to go up very slowly to around maybe 150 feet, them zipped very quickly to the east. My mother thought there intentions was to pick me up. After this happened I had an encounter with a "man in black." Through the next several years me, my mother, brother and aunt had several sightings in the same area. We seem to think maybe they somehow know us. Is this possible? Do you want me to Email you about my "men in black" experience? Also about our other sightings?
