Bright white light with a blue orb moved low and slowly across sky before disappearing into blue dust.

There was a white orb, about the size of what would be a planet in the sky, moving seemingly low and slowly across the sky. It had a blue hazy orb around it. It was a perfectly clear night, but you couldn’t see clearly this this blue orb. It moved across the sky until it disappeared into a fine blue dust and dissipated.

Bright light flared up almost directly overhead and trailed northeast. Several minutes later, small light craft advanced to location.

Large sustained flash of light over us phased out after nearly 10 seconds and reduced to a pinpoint of light. After some moments we noticed several points of light moving toward where the original light flare had occurred.

while driving through the mountains of northern union county, saw a triangle.

While i'm not entirely positive of the date of this sighting, it was winter, and after the new year. In any case, a friend and i were waiting to for some other friends, and decided to make the 5 or so mile drive from berkeley heights, to summit. For the first couple minutes, it was a normal uneventful drive. That would soon change.

I was driving the car and noticed an enormous object fly overhead, at first i assumed it was a plane, but without any accompanying noise, i was forced to take a second look. At this point, i pointed up. My friend looked out the window and saw what i was pointing at. It was a craft, flying a few hundred feet up with 3 lights, and a triangular shape. The color of the lights was indiscriminate as it changed often. The object also appeared to be moving north east towards New york city. Just as we came to the realization of what we were looking at, the object seemed to disappear. (as if it knew we were observing) At which point we noticed a new object (possibly the same object), starlike in appearance , which had appeared near where the other object seemed to disappear. We stayed fixed on it, as it was now moving easterly back towards us, from a position seemingly off the coast, but near the city. All of a sudden the object jumped literally from one end of the horizon to the other instantaneously (east to west). It hovered in this new position for about 2 minutes and then proceeded to jump straight up and disappear..

Needless to say my friend and I had no doubt as to what we had seen. Our only question was as to its origin. I've always been interested in UFO phenomena and spent many a night as a child peering up hoping to catch a glimpse. Ive seen things that are suspect, but could easily be ruled out as being something entirely explainable by the right expert. This was entirely different however, there was no question that this was not any aircraft i had ever seen, or any easily explainable natural phenomena.

2 large bright orange lights

I was going home from work and it was a clear night. It was then I noticed a single orange light that was twinkling like a star. This light at first looked like maybe Mars in the low horizon, but it was to large for that.

I continued to drive looking at the light for about 3 mins. I passed a group of trees which blocked my view for about 3 secs. and the single orange point of light was no longer at the horizon, instead it was nearly above me but this time it was 2 seperate bright orange lights. It was moving very fast from due south to north.

I stop my truck and rolled the window down. There was no sound coming from it. There were no other lights on it except for the 2 bright lights which continued past me until it went past a large group of trees.

Midway airport area, sphere or disc hovering and then accelerating rapidly

At approx 9:30 a.m., I was driving northbound (inbound to Chicago) on Hwy 55, The Stevenson Expressway, approaching the Harlem Ave exit ramp. In the sky, perhaps at a 45 degree angle or so from me and apparently at least 1000 feet up or so, I noticed an object. I would estimate it's location as being directly above the area of 54th Street and Oak Park Avenue, possibly somewhat farther east-southeast. I noted that it was black and round, not much larger than a BB at arm’s length. My first thought was that I was looking at a bird or an airplane end-on, but it quickly became obvious that it was neither. There was a solid gray cloud cover, the shape of the object was starkly visible, and wings if they existed would be clearly seen. No plane would be ascending towards or descending away from nearby Midway Airport (about two miles east-southesast of there)so steeply at that altitude.

By now I had viewed the object hovering in the sky for about five seconds. Suddenly it bolted, at a bit of an angle right-to-left, headed roughly eastbound and upward, toward the clouds. The black circle rapidly shrank into a pinpoint dot and disappeared into the clouds, clearly moving upward and away very fast. It took less than two seconds for it to accelerate out of sight. I did not see a hole in the clouds where it entered the solid cloud ceiling. My impression was that it was disc-shaped because of the flat appearance of the black (no shading at the edges like you'd see with a sphere).

The only reason I saw this object is that I had a shocking daylight sighting of a large craft back on November 9, and since then I’ve been scanning the skies every chance I get, hoping to see another UFO, which amazingly enough I did. These two sightings were very different, however.

Truthfully, I’ve been reluctant to post this sighting, as I’ve been discouraged since my previous experience. Since I was alone at the time, and I'm not a pilot or a police officer, it seems that I might not be qualified enough to report that a gigantic, very clearly defined black rectangle which I observed at length, slowly flying in high-visibility conditions before it camouflaged itself, is not a “weather phenomenon” or some other nonsense like that. Even though I’m in my 40s, a stable family man with a science degree, that’s lived in the Chicago area with it's teeming air traffic basically my whole life, to boot. Worse still, you feel you can’t discuss it with anybody, because even your closest friends or family members will think you’re a nut case or want to come up with some ridiculous debunking. If I had gotten photographs, those either wouldn’t have been good enough, or they would have been too good, i.e. fake. So the whole process of seeing and reporting a sighting is really very frustrating, even though I’m joined by tens of thousands of other witnesses.

I was sitting in the back seat of my mom's car at the Summit Amtrak station waiting for my sister's train to arrive. It was approximately 8:30 when I saw two flashing red lights in the northwest sky.

I saw the two flashing red light for about 2 min. The lights were pulsating and moving at the same time. They moved upward in the sky then came down on an a left angle and dissapeared.

I tried to show my mom but she couldn't see it with the reflection of the street light on her front window.

Couple of people in our house saw a brigh Saucer/ circle shaped object moving west to North on clear skies. The object was emitting white light and was moving horizontally. The light was intense and was moving very slowly and sometime felt it was stationery. Defintely cannot be a plane. There is Newark airport east of us, may be 20 miles away

Large Silver Disk explodes over SD Antenna Field....

Left Fargo, ND at 4:45 pm for meeting in marshall, MN ealrler postponed that day due to winter storm warnings. Took I-29 south, at approximtely 1845 hrs topped the "buffalo ridge" and was travelling along the Waubay nat'l Wildlife refuge. Shortly thereafter a large antenna field used by the US NAVY had its antennae strobes on, the weather was much better above on the ridge than towards north down the ridge to Peever, SD. Sky was 20% cloudy but extremely windy and with a -35 degree fahrenheit temperature (the reason I know this is that the interior of that cars windows will begin to fog and ice up about 1 inch down and around the sides; at -40 they are completely iced over in side the car) the sky was partially clear, able to see some stars. I was in the process of passing a slow semi-truck when I got neck and neck with him on I-29. I thought the driver was asleep but instead saw he was slowing down, I discerned he was looking at something, so I glanced in the same direction West by Southwest. The appeared to be the reflection in the strobes of a very large aircraft over the antenna field. The reflection revealed at first a shiny silver surface, possibly the side or bottom of a fusilage but this 'craft' was moving extremely slow and was huge, at least 100 ft in length. As I finished passing the semi-truck, under several near instantaneous bursts of the antenna strobes the was a 3-4 blue then purple colored lights which revealed the top of the 'craft', was slightly flat and the bottom was curved. Severl seconds later, there was an intense flash from the object, while the strobes that blinked were blinking were bright this flash was like a welders arc, I mean damned near blinding if it had not been for the extremely short time of the burst. I saw trhe trucker flashe his lights at me and put his cab light on pointing to the west at the antenna field. I heard a loud thunderous bang, similar to hearing a heavy metal object fall like at a foundry or steel mill, only muffed by the dista! nce and wind. I got off at the US Route 12 exit going across I-29 to the Conoco truckstop. It was approximately 7:15 pm when I got because I pulled up to a pump and topped my gas tank off. I told the attendant, a woman what I saw, that an airplane exploded in the air. She said that i ought to call the sherrifs department, just then the trucker came in and went through the same story with the cashier. After I phoned in what I saw so di the trucker. The dispatcher said there was a depuites car in the area. The Sherriffs depty came in at 7:35 pm, his car was spotless, as was his uniform and overall appearance; HE did not have a South Dakota accent. As the trucker and I were giving our statements a rancher and his wife came in all excited about the the loud explosion and huge plane that fell. When I explained to the Sherriffs Deputy that I saw no flames or crash on the gound-the rancher said he did not know the Sherriffs deputy cutting into our conversation. The trucker and ranchers wife asked where he was from and he got flustered becasue as it turned out the uniform and car were recognized as belonging the the local sherroiffs department , the cashier was listening all of this we were the only people at the truck stop and the cashier spoke that the deputy was not from around here, he said eh would explain once he got our statements, later explained that he was on loan from near Aberdeen, SD. Once we gave our statements he said that we saw a satellite re-entering the earths atomosphere. For being a Sherriffs Deputy he unusually well informed, he said we would be contacted by the USAF after giving our name, age and phone number (he noted the sex of each of us, independently of his questioning). I do not remember the daqte of the phone call but it was mid February, "an official representative of the US Air Force told me I saw a satellite re-entering the earths atomosphere". I was also told not go to any newspapers or media, the tone was not of a threat but practically a dare! This! the fir st time that I have seen this website. I am not loony, I have a Ph.D. am an Eagle Scout and was going through my old financial files when I stumbled upon an old expense report with some notes of what I saw attached to it. To this day I do not if the 'craft' I saw was a satellite re-entering the earths atomosphere, a military plane crash or a "flying saucer" badly in need of a tune up. However, I know a coverup when I see one. I checked on the Sherriffs Deputy, later found out he did not even exist, know one matching name or description was on any Sherriffs department in the area, this I did on my own. The sherriffs department did not even have a record of the dispatch after iasked further. Who in the hell was that Sherriff's deputy? What was going on with that flying craft? Why in one of the most severe and dangerous winter storms? Why were there not more people at the Truck Stop?
