Bright lights in the night sky for 10-15mins

Was on my way home from rep training, when I took a call on my mobile phone from one of my triple taggies from the other night. Half was into the conversation while driving down a remote country road, a bright light came over the night sky. I could not see clearly but my phone disconnected and no longer worked.

The light was so intense I could hardly see where I was driving. I stopped the car after trying to drive for about five minutes. The light was very intense white, with some green and red lights as well.

After another 5 mins, it stopped. However I could no longer see what caused it.

When I got home, my horse was in the other paddock, even thought the gate was still locked.

There was no reports the next day of the nights activities.
