Flashing beams in the night. I'm scared now.

Its was mid night. I was sitting on my couch watching television with my best mate. We were sipping at our coffee when saw flashes of light out the window. We ran outside and saw 3 circle shaped UFO's. They were flashing beams. My friend ran inside to grab a camera when I started to feel a tingling feeling going through my body. I felt sick in the stomach. I felt a deep pain in my nose and blood was gushing out of my nose. My friend came back with a camera and they were gone.

Ever since that encounter I have never felt alone and often wake up in the night with cold sweats. My girlfriend broke up with me because I told her the story and she thought I was crazy. I have 3 dots on my left arm since the encounter. I went to a doctor and they had never seen anything like it before.

A spinning sphere shaped object observed in clear blue sky accelerated rapidly away at very high speed

I have been interested in aircraft for 30yrs and have observed many types over the years all over the world as well as being the airforce for a time, I have become used to the unusual way which objects in the sky can look due to atmospheric conditions,weather etc.On a very hot sunny day I was sunbathing on the rocks by the ocean with a clear view out to sea, as I was laying there I caught a bright flash out of the corner of my eye upon looking towards the area of the flash I was astounded to see a small sphere (shaped more like a spinning top)it was spinning rapidly and each rotation would produce a bright flash as if the sun was reflecting off of it.The object moved in an arc pattern in a very 'precise' manner and then shot off at such a rediculous speed that at first I thought it had vanished, however I did see a 'motion blur'for a split second which lead me to believe that it had in fact accelerated extremely fast.The object was bright,shiny 'chrome' in colour and the flashes were as bright as sunlight reflecting off a mirror,and had a flash rate of 3 times per second. Having given this sighting much thought I have eliminated every conventional possibility- it was just something which I cannot explain, but would love to understand.
