Flashing white light roughly same position blinking about 30 seconds apart 5 or 6 times before moving further away from the planet

Saw a bright light flash in very clear night sky over Darwin, Australia on the 8th November 2010.

I was looking up at stars at the time as I have done nearly every night for a few years while sitting outside around midnight so it was out of the ordinary. I initially thought it could be a plane flying over at high altitude but it was just one flash of light rather than normal plane lights, plus it did not track across the sky.

I waited and about 30 seconds or so then the same flash of light but in about the same position, so I decided to count the intervals of flash to check if it was consistent. By my count it was intervals of 32 (counting 1 and 2 and 3 and etc). This happened about 5 or 6 times until the flashes got dimmer quite quickly as if moving away.

The area of stars I was looking at would have been about 'Orion' at the time, maybe slightly to the west of that.

UFO uses asteroid signiture for orbit entry

It seemed like a re-entry of an asteriod yet the angle seemed like STRAIGHT DOWN and like Transporting as thought the object came out of thin air in upper orbit then descended letting of a light wave outwards of such luminicity it I haven't seen anything like.

My verification simply points to the question did anyone else with better eyesight see such an amazing event. City population 100,000.

two loud noises, saw unusual lights in the sky not common for the area

20:00 two loud noise like a low flying artillary round just overhead. But heard it break through sound barrier then went silent. looked into the sky in the direction of noise but could not see anything looking for lights of a plane. Maybe low flying fast jet but not in a major city near a civilian airfield on black out.

At 20:30 saw chevron shaped lights in sky white light on wings, flashing white light on top and steady red light underneath. Lights vanished except for flashing white light, after approx 1 minute. not sure what it was but definately not military as near civilian airfield and did not look like your normal boeing aircraft.

golden orbs travelling in a line.

I was listening to talk on an archived Rense show about golden orbs (fire balls, he was speaking to Peter Davenport. Last year in Darwin many people also saw them. Strangely enough it was at a time when the US military was staging a joint war games exercise - Pitch Black which occurs every year across the Top End of the Northern Territory. One incident was a firework display ona city beach the objects were observed by hundreds of people and hardly even commented on. They travelled slowly across the night sky, formed a triangle and then some manouvres then disappeared. They were also seen by my sister and many other people that we spoke to. Each time the behaviour was similar. The glowing golden objects travelled ina perfectly spaced file across the sky out over the sea. They would then manouver into traiangles and other shapes and then either disapear or rocket off at a great speed. On the local radio a man confessed to having released hundreds of orange garbage bag fire powered devices off at various localities. What a psycho - he must have spent a fortune and to what avail? I myself saw on separate occasions, examples of both types of objects. The pyro devices were erratic in behaviour and it was quite obvious to any viewer as to what they were as they flickered and drifted rising and falling. I saw the latter objects on the night of the lunar eclipse. The other orbs travelled in lines straight and at a constant speed not in any erratic fashion at all. We all think that the orbs were some kind of military test. The amazing thing was how blase people were about them. "Oh UFOS maybe?" Just thought you might be interested.

very bright orange light travelling slowly

Bright orange light travelling north at a slow pace, aircraft was seen flying underneath it, then about 2 mins later no bright light was to be seen.
