While on a patrol of work site I happen to look up just as a line of perfectly straight line and evenly spaced, there were more than 10 white lights of even sizes moving across the sky from West to East at approx 0515 on the 09-10-2023. moving to fast to be conventional aircraft

Long thin object viewed travelling slowly through sky

While in bed, I saw a long, thin (dimensions of a pen), white? object approx. 5+km away travelling at constant speed low in the sky.
No sound, no trail. I got out of bed to watch. Object travelled in a straight line at constant speed (not fast, but visibly moving). Estimate object travelled north, like a missile (but not at pace). Faint lights visible along length of object, no "tail" lights like an aircraft. Witnessed object for less than a minute (40secs?) before losing it behind nearby trees obsecuring my view. Kinda cool.

At the time, considered videoing, but decided it was too dark and too far away to capture. I've never seen anything like this before - probably never will again.

Isosceles well defined white triangle - 20 sec

I saw a triangle craft, slightly elongated, not a perfect triangle. It was completely white, and moved in a straight line or possibly a curve. However what caught my eye was how large it became in a short time.

The whole experience was around 20 sec. What I saw grew in size from a tiny dot, to a clear elongated triangle in about 10 sec and then it it shrunk away again and simply disappeared. I tried to follow its path and could not see it anywhere.

It had no tail. However I’ll probably be told it was just a meteor or something. But it seemed to change speed and size unlike any shooting star I’ve ever seen. And I was in the Navy and saw thousands of stars at night while at sea. This was nothing like I have ever seen.

What was mostly interesting was just before whatever it was disappeared I saw a tiny reddish ring for about 1 second. And then it was gone.

I don’t know enough about astronomy to say what it could have been, can someone please tell me if a meteor can look like a growing white triangle, cross a portion of the night sky in quick time before shrinking with a tiny red ring? What it looked like was something entering the atmosphere and then leaving again. The full size of the object at maximum was about 3 mm by eye, twice to three times any other star, well defined Isosceles triangle. And it shrunk faster than it grew.

Must have been around 12-1am. We were taking a cab home but decided to stop at Mcdonalds. We parked on the side of the street while waiting for the food. I looked out the window and saw a big white balloon and then past that I saw 3 of the circular spacecrafts with orange lights spinning below it. They were swaying back and forth, up and down in synchronised movements but also formed a straight line. My partner, myself and the cab driver saw it all. One of the orbs disappeared out of nowhere like turning a light switch off. No sound. We drove off halfway through.

My daughter and I where observing the Pleiades star cluster last night at 23:00, when was a bright light appeared, brighten to the luminosity of a meteorite, then faded to disappeared within one second. It was almost like a meteorite was coming directly to us which is possible but highly unlikely.

I am an avid night sky observer and was using a Nikon 10X50 60 degree binoculars last night to observe various star constellations in our southern Australian sky. For instance, I have observed the International Space Station about 30 times, so I am familiar with the brightness and movement of the ISS. The object I observed last night did not move or have a trail like a meteorite.

My daughter was observing the Pleiades star cluster and noticed the bright light appearing and disappearing as well.

I would be interested if anyone else observed this object here in Australia.

A large black craft with V formation dull glowing lights cruising silently

I witnessed this craft flying silently from East to west at a height of approximately 500 metres. It was a V shape craft with many lights underneath. The lights were a dull golden glow. The lights displayed the shape of the craft producing a V formation. It wasnt just outer lights. There were rows of them. This craft appeared to be rather large. The craft itself looked black. I then saw the craft cruise towards a cloud and beginning to become transparent. I was so in ore of this craft I could not believe what I was seeing. I nearly wanted to turn away as it didn’t make any sense to me. It was so quiet. Not even a sound of air rushing over it. This craft was flying over a suburban area next to the city centre. This craft was defiantly something of very high techical ability.

A bright stationary star with a golden glow, then moving from south to north at a quick pace for 7seconds. translucent then dissapeared

Firstly , the night was very clear. It was above fistly stationary, positioned like a star. I thought it was a star until it began to move. It moved from a southerly to a north trajectory. At first I thought it was a satelite, I always like to keep a look out for them, however, this object seemed too bright witha golden glow and travelled at a fast pace. It was faster than a plane but not quite as fast as the satelites I have seen. This object also went in a line. It didnt travel in an axis like I see satellites do. In the objects last moments from sight, it seemed to change transparant then briefly back to a bright glow then translucent then dissapeard.

Description: I wish to state up front that before tonight I have had little to no interest in the topic of UFOs. Also wish to state that I am not drawing conclusions as to what I saw, but I am documenting this so that other witnesses may corroborate with my account.

On my way back to my car after work, I turned my head skyward briefly. The night was a little cloudy but some stars were viewable above me. I focused in on one of the fainter stars (I am not into astronomy – star is a dim orange colour in the high vertical east bound sky of the ACT) and a shooting star happened to fly pass. This did not amaze me much, as I recall seeing what really was a shooting star just a few nights earlier outside my house. What did amaze me is that this object, while appearing to have the same relative looking speed of a shooting star, continued to remain in view without the characteristic fadeout of a shooting star. This suggested to me that the object is upper atmosphere, possibly higher.

My amazement ended and astonishment began when a second shooting star like object tailed, accelerated and caught up to the original object. The second object moved in on the first object and produced the trajectory of a side-facing parabola – something like stunt pilots would execute. The first object then circled around at a very high speed in a wide arc, but only completed about ninety percent of the circular turn.

As I was focusing on the sudden – and frankly mind boggling – acrobatics of the first object, I lost sight of the second. The first object disappeared in its incomplete turn.

The whole experience felt like about ten seconds all up.

I have no idea what I saw, but I can tell you it was no shooting star.

Yes Canberra has an airport in the vicinity of my eastward vantage, but this event was right above me and these objects were EXTREMLY high. No way it was the air force, balloons etc and I don’t know much about satellites or space stations, but I would guess they don’t move like that.

The only other likelihood I can think of is very high altitude lightning, asteroid collision or maybe even aurora, but again I know nothing about these subject areas. I also discount the possibility of my tired condition resulting in eye floaters, simply because these were bright objects. To test this, after I arrived home, I tried staring at dark surfaces, but my eyes were not producing any bright artefacts.

The objects in question were just dots but the way they moved! The trajectory crossover and turn did not seem natural.

Can anyone who witnessed this event please confirm. This has certainly messed up my scepticism. I am trying to register an account on the website ATS, but my password doesn’t seem to come through. I will keep trying. This needs to get out hence the email.

My mum and I were driving home late on Saturday night 5/08/06. I noticed something up in the sky - there were 4 amber coloured round shapes, hovering around. Amber/orange coloured round balls (is the only way I can explain them) that were lit up, moving around quite slowly. (I really do not know how far away they were or how fast they were travelling. When I first noticed them they were in a straight line one under the other then one ball of light went behind the another and slowly come back out into view. We stopped got out of the car to have a better look. There were already 10 or so cars also pulled up looking up at these strange lit up balls up in the sky. I had my mobile (cell) phone with me so I took a video recording of these strange lights. (Although, later on when I replayed the short video I couldnt really see anything other than the moon and the dark sky). These balls of light slowly moved away from each other and went up into space getting smaller and smaller to our eyes until we could no longer see them.

No one could explain them, they certainly were not planes, helicopters, laser lights or Air balloons. Really weird, strange!!

Star like object that changed colours and seemed to have a beaming light underneath

Just a quick report on what I believe was a UFO sighting on Friday 3rd March at 3am, Gordon, Canberra ACT Australia.

A week before my partner whom email I am using was outside on the back deck. I noticed he was gazing up into the sky and I was wondering what he was looking at. Approx 20 seconds later he turned to me and said "look, what's that". I looked towards the heavens and saw a small bright silver (metallic) object the size of a pin head moving very quickly and horizontally across the sky.

He was taken aback and yes we claimed to have seen an unidentified object. It meant more to him as it was his first ever sighting.

I however over the past 20yrs have seen several, although I was living in NZ at the time.

Several nights later on March 3rd I was working a night shift and decided to go outside for a cigarette, it was 3am and a very clear night. I was looking at the stars when I noticed a very bright but low star, it was so low it appeared out of place so I turned all the inside lights off to get a better view. On doing that I realised the object was changing colours gold/bluish and orange. I rang my partner hoping he could see it but because of the distance between us this was impossible. I watched it just hovering in the one place for several minutes and on one occasion it seemed to have disappeared only to appear just as quick. My partner rang back and I was trying to explain what I was seeing... at that very moment and although it may sound very strange I said to him that it looked as though it had a light coming from beneath (as though it was beaming something up) after 14 minutes it disappeared completely.

I have worked several shifts and have made a point of looking in that same direction at around the same time but to no avail.

Object stops still in the sky, changes trajectory and flies back in the opposite direction only to disappear.

I am a university student who lives in Canberra, Australia and i don't really have much of a fascination with ufo's or space.

On a saturday night my friend and i arrived at another friends house to watch some movies. After knocking on the door i realised i had left my car lights on so i went back to my car which was parked out by the road. It was a very clear night and the sky in Canberra is great for a star gazer because it is a small city thus their is little glow in the night sky from buildings or city lights.

As i walked over to my car i looked into the sky and directly north i saw what i initially thought was a satellite. I have seen many satellites before but this one appeared to be a little different. It was moving at a slow pace and in a straight line from right to left in the sky, it was a whitish/yellowish colour and it had no flashing lights apparent. The difference between this satellite to others i have seen before was that instead of maintaining a smooth trajectory the object seemed to be slightly bobbing up and down. I knew this was strange for a satellite so i kept watching. The objects trajectory then changed and it looked like it was moving downwards rather than in its straight line. It did this for about 30 seconds and then the object stopped and was sitting stationary in the sky.

My friend then came outside and i called him over to look at the object. We looked at for about 1 minute as it sat still and then to my amazement the object began flying from left to right back which meant it was flying back at a slow pace in the opposite direction as to when i first saw it. My friend and i watched the object fly for about 1 minute until it stopped again. It stayed stationary for about 2 minutes then simply disappered to my friend's and my own amazement.

A big triangle kept on changing colors and dissapering near my school, it lasted at least 1 minute

My teacher was reading us a book when my friend told me there was a ufo outside, i quickly looked outside and i saw it. IT was really strange, because it kept on dissapering and reapering as different shapes and colors, firstly it was a white cigar, then it dissapeared and reappered as a black cigar, it then dissapeared again and reappered as 2 white blobby things, it then seemed to turn and it was a big triangle thing with big lights on it and each end, firstly i thought it was a stealth bomber or something but it did not have any weird tail, and it seemed to move really strangly, my other friends saw it too and we were all convinced it was a ufo, please believe, i will get my friends to report it too.

A cigar shaped Ufo flew over my school with 5 witnesses and then it zoomed off

I was outside my school talking with my friends when I looked up to see some sort of 'cigar' flying quite slowly in the air. I told my friends and they looked up, 2 of them said it was a jet or aeroplane, but it didn't have any tail, no wings, or any trail. Plus after about 3 seconds it zoomed off with incredible speed. My friends said it was just a jet, but one of my friends and I don't think so. You might not beliieve this but I swear I'm telling the truth under god's name.

3 bright white circular objects flying in triangle shaped formation, no sound and identification possible.

Hello, my sighting took place a few months back but i remember it perfectly. I was watching T.V with my wife girlfriend on a saturday night. It was 11:40pm and it was stormy outside so i decided to go outside and get her cats in. Anyway,after getting a drink i went outside and boy was it getting windy, not to mention the thunder. I looked into the sky and was fascinated by the shape of the clouds which were illuminated by lightning strikes. There was a enough of a break in the clouds to see a large portion of the sky and the stars were clearly visible. Then something strange happened, from the left side of the sky i noticed a bright white circular shaped object moving at a steady speed, i immediately thought it was a satellite, then i noticed a second bright white circular object moving in the same direction, the object caught with the first object and they were now one on top of the other however they were still flying individually. I have never seen two satellites flying together like that and they weren't planes, they were silent and they had no flashing lights. At this point i called to my girlfriend to have a look, i then saw a third bright white circular object move out from behing the same clouds as the other 2 objects and then the object trailled the front 2 at the same speed thus creating a triangle shaped formation. Once again this object imitted no sound and no flashing lights, the objects then slowly disappeared over the clouds.

Two balls of light one after the other from the same star cluster. Both at high speed going in Different Directions

I was sitting outside at around 6:30 pm , Noticed a light red ball of light moving at high speed. I ran inside to grab my women so i knew i was not seeing things . We compared the hight and speed compared to the normal aircraft flying in and out of ACT airport. Both of us deciding it was way to high and fast to be any normal conventional aircraft. To fast to be a satelite. It was moving towards the horizon starting pritty much above us and was at the horizon within 20 seconds. As it disappered i looked at the same star cluster it had came from and noticed another one moving at the same speed but in a diffrent direction. It was racing along for around 10 seconds when it dipped down with no change of speed . It made a few turns then shot of in the direction it was first headed. I am spun out ....

8 tear drop shaped ships flew over bungendore at aproximatly 1:30am eastern stanerd time

The teardrop space ships flew over the town of Bungendore whee I live in a V formation. They had one large light on the front of each ship and were using them like search lights, they were obviously looking for somthing. as they flew over me i had a cold feeling come over me and all the local dogs began to bark. The space ships then began to fly around crazily, and then flew away as quickly as hey came.

Strange light seen over Canberra Australia

It was a very clear night, my partner and I were driving home from a dinner party, to a new suburb Palmerston in Gunghalin on the northern outskirts of Canberra. At first we thought it was an aircraft, however, there was no noise and the light appeared to grow bigger and then dissapear and then reappear and then change shape.

It was a very strange coloured light, very bright but changed from a blue colour to a white colour. We stopped our car on the side of the road and observed the strange light for almost one minute. The light would fade out and then reappear in a different spot, it was moving very quickly. It then left a trail of light and dissapeared. We decided at the time that our friends and family would think we were crazy if we told them, so we both decided not to discuss it with anybody.

it was silver about cesna size round stationary at 50,000 feet for 1 hour in january 1981 at 1pm on a blue day above ainsely village canberra act australia and we all saw it sitting there.eventually it went away.as technology was limited then we count identify it with what we know but know we have found other planets it seems probable and with sub atomic knowledge may be it is possible for us to do it to help to come to terms with unexplained phenomina.it was not a balloon or earthy explained object it was definately a craft beyond our doing at the time.in revelations of the bible it says there is another earth and galaxy so i am looking for ward to meeting my brothers and sisters in space.
