UFO over 95 North

While driving on 95 north between Stafford County and Quantico, Virginia, I looked up and saw a small circular object. It looked to be small and metallic, reflecting the light of the sun for a moment it seem to be moving in a circle and then it became obscure to sight and then it became visible again and stayed in the general area as I moved closer to Quantico Virginia. It passed over 95 heading west. It almost looked like a small star the second sighting lasted for about a minute and a half while driving. Then the third sighting was just passed Quantico, following the highway north. Then it was seen just west of the highway just floating.

Large shiny metallic rectangular object appeared, disappeared, then re-appeared in another location

This being a lovely bright sunny day, I decided to ride my bicycle around the neighborhood. As I turned around in a cul-de-sac, I noticed in the sky a large bright shiny metallic object. It was solid rectangular shape about half the size of railroad boxcar -- the long side was vertical. The object had no wings, no tail -- just a rectangular box. There was a slight wind, maybe 5 to 10 mph, but the object appeared to move very deliberately without swaying or shifting. There was no sound at all. I watched it for about 10 seconds -- before I had to shift my gaze downward for bicycle safety. When I returned my gaze to the same location, there was nothing there. I kept looking eastward, the direction it was traveling, but saw nothing else. About one minute later, I stopped to report what I had just seen to my wife. She said she just saw the object I described -- but it was travelling to the Northwest before it disappeared. In summary, I'd say this object was visible to my wife and to me (separately) for about 10 seconds. Our sightings were about one minute apart. Apparently, during that minute, the object must have changed direction rapidly.

I was driving my semi down 221 this is very remote country I topped a hill i seen the craft the best way I can describe it was like an octopus with its tentacles out stretched with each tentacle having a series of green lights going down them and in the middle was a flashing red and yellow light everything was so dark because the location is in the middle of nowhere the craft lifted up banked right then left then shot off this all happened in about 3 and a half seconds I maybe went 200 feet my speed was ball park 55-60 I checked my airplane finder in my phone and there where no planes anywhere near me

Brief sighting overhead of an extraordinary sight: at first, one orb, then many - 7 or 8 - merging into an illuminated formation

I live close to Dulles Airport and love planes, so I look up often in my backyard to observe them as they land/ take off. Yesterday evening, I see what looks like a metal ball in the sky, almost spinning end over end. I assume it's a balloon or some other floating garbage but grab my wife just so she can tell me I'm not crazy and is seeing this too, and as she comes out, maybe 6,7,8 (?) or more of these things appear! They form into a single formation and are all brightly lit (I said white light but my wife says yellow). Here's where it gets really crazy: while flying at high speed, the formation stays tight but some of the objects shift around, switching spots in the formation. When I saw them appear I could see they were solid but once the lights came on, you could barely make out the shape (pretty much the entire objects were lit up).

They disappeared from view within 30 seconds, hidden by the tall trees in our area.

Pure white ball of light descending behind treeline

• Conditions: mostly clear sky, light wind, fully dark

• Seen through a window, difficult to judge distance; I would guess a few thousand feet at minimum

I stepped outside on break and seen a or orange ball of light fly over the shopping center. Shortly after vanished.

I walked out the backdoor of my job for a smoke break, when I see a ball of orange light fly over the shopping center I work at. It wasn't anything commercial or civilian, because I pulled up flight tracker, and there wasn't any planes, or helicopters in the area. I've been seeing these for weeks, and I've taken video of every one I seen. I've not let anyone see the videos. I don't want to be seen as crazy or like I'm losing it so I've just been keeping them to myself. I'm fascinated every time I see them. I feel frozen when I look at them. People like to dismiss them, but I'm truly amazed. They aren't anything I've ever seen. I first seen one late December 2024. I couldn't stop watching it. I'm not really into sci-fi or space, but this is something truly out of this world. I see the drones as well, but I think the drones are ours, and we are studying the balls of light. I could've cared less about the UFO/UAP topic a year ago. Now I'm convinced that there is something out there we don't understand. You can say it's a plane or a helicopter, but neither move like this thing does. I understand why they keep it covered up though. I almost piss myself every time I see a UAP/Orb. I can't imagine being religious. Probably think it's God or something. I hope I'm not perceived as a conspiracy nut. I'd like an explanation just like the rest. Weird times indeed.

Noticed large orange object first, then a small white dot darting all around it. Both shot off quickly and disappeared.

The stationary orange object was very bright and large. Was too high to be street light and way too large and round to be a plane with only sky behind it (couldn't have been a light on a mountain bc there wasn't one). I was going towards exit 114 in christiansburg when I saw it. Then, I noticed a much smaller whiter light just darting and zipping around back and forth next to it. The next thing I knew, both took off and disappeared within the blink of an eye. It was sooo cool! I tried to take a photo or video, but all I got was squiggly lines on the photos and the camera wouldn't turn from facing me to facing outward (prob didn't help I was going 70 mph and couldn't see what I was trying to video).

Strobing light exiting atmosphere or disappearing

Was walking the dogs at night as usual and was watching the skies, noticed a few planes (consistent strobing, red and green lights) and then saw a flash of light in the sky. I kept watching the same area, then saw the flash again. It was a bright white / yellow, and flashed around 1 second intervals. It moved through the sky from right to left, then the light got dimmer but was still strobing. Couldn't tell if it turned off, or left the atmosphere. It had no other lights and was not visible when it wasn't flashing. It didn't reflect light like a satellite, it was either on or off. I can't give you a speed estimate other than it was really far away and passed a plane that had to be closer. There is close to no cloud coverage tonight, I even made sure to pay attention to other stars around the strobing light and noticed they didn't dissipate or disappear like they do if clouds go in front of them. Rural area with the skies lit up full of stars. I also checked flight radar24 and nothing matched it.

My daughter saw a grey disc with light blue blinking lights zig zagging erratically above her as she came home from school. The craft had two horn-like antenna coming from the sides, pointing upward. The craft had a dome like bulge coming from the middle of it. The craft was visible for around 30 seconds, zig zagging in the sky in a small area. The craft then disappeared. The speed was not like any aircraft. The craft produced no noise or emissions.

5 of our family members are witnesses to this sighting as we observed from a second story porch. 3 Bright yellow lights in sky in a line then fade and reappear as if fast movement had occured then a cluster of smaller white lights appear in a cluster as the 3 or 4 brighter yellow ufo move around. FYI -the red flashing light is a just a tower light.

Drone like sighting like stars

After coming home from work I noticed a pulsating light and a smaller light above my apartment and stopped to watch. I noticed there were multiple "stars" in the sky that did not belong there that would move every so often. I called my roommate to come watch too and we both saw a large black triangular craft that blended into the sky with two lights and a cluster of lights. It was very hard to record this craft as it blends in seamlessly with the sky.

It mainly stayed in one location but then dropped straight down. Then three lights in a straight line appeared above it and it disappeared from sight. This is the fourth object I've seen in the past month. When I got home, I saw a triangular shaped one too, visible from my house--but was unable to get it on film before it disappeared.

Started in a diamond pattern, then moved into a line and two dots faded upwards into the sky into the cloud line, followed by a long time of just seeing two then top one blended into the clouds disappeared. Finally, the last one stopped admitting it’s light and faded away.

Watched white Orb of light travel over house at high rate of speed

Watched very bright Orb of light for 5 seconds travel at high speeds from treeline to horizon. Altitude estimate about 1 mile+. Maintained brightness throughout sighting. I see air traffic all day and night. This object was 5 times faster than anything I've seen. It also maintained a flat horizontal trajectory for the 5 seconds. Definitely not a shooting star or satellite.

We were just getting up for our morning jog and my wife and I spotted 7 bright white orbs headed towards Mount Weather

We saw 7 bright orbs that we tried to record but both of our phone batteries died even though we had fully charged them overnight. We noticed the orbs doing what looked like formations just south of Leesburg. These formations would vary and they maintained brightness while they changed positions. The orbs could not have been airplanes since we checked flight radar later that day after recharging our phones, also Dullus airport is Southwest of where we viewed these. We watched as we continued to jog and they remained when we got back home. About 4 hours after the initial sighting which was close to 9am at this point we saw them glow brighter before taking off in the direction of Mount weather, although we do not know that's where they went just that they went that direction.

Orbs flying below treeline in the forest

Sitting outside on the back porch steps looking north towards the trees. Suddenly in the forest across the pasture between the trees flying I see three orange orbs, one large one closely flanked by two small ones on either side. They were close enough that they could have all been part of one thing, but I couldn't tell for certain. This was below tree height and in the forest itself, no more than 40-50 feet in the air, and I watched as it went east, or from my perspective to the right, for about ten to fifteen seconds (just long enough for me to register the thought of "what the heck is that?") before disappearing. Dogs barked shortly after it disappeared in the area it was traveling in and one of our pigs squealed suddenly too.

The drawing I have attached shows it in front of the trees but it did pass behind several and was slightly deeper in the forest.

UAP - Brilliant Gold Triangle seemingly flying along a Mountain Range

Driving home from Marshall, VA. We got on Hume Road headed towards Leeds Manor Road, in Hume, VA. The sun had already set to the other side of the mountains we saw off to the left of Hume Road. As we were driving, we saw an brilliant gold colored triangle in the sky above a mountain range off to the left of the road, about a 25 degrees off to the path we we were following down Hume, Road. We had no where to stop on this two lane country road. My wife took pictures of the object using her iPhone 11 that we saw during the three minutes or so we saw it from the road. It seemed quite some distance from us and the gold triangle looked fairly large for a flying object (compared to a passenger airplane) though maybe that was because it was at a much lower elevation than we are used to seeing passenger jets flying from Dulles out to the west. I wondered why it was a brilliant color as the sun had seemingly already set to the other side of the mountain I was looking at in the distance (and so would be reflecting on the other side of the craft, though perhaps there was a lake or river between us on the other side of that mountain (presuming Compton Peak - the two peaks I saw in the distance appeared to be Compton Mountain and Carson Peak) I could not see and that object that was reflecting sunlight onto that object. One of our neighbors who lived down the street from us told us they had seen the same object before we had (different day) and chased it for a bit to get a better view of it off of Leeds Manor Road. I did report this on Reddit/UFOs site the day I saw it - but was unaware of your database until recently. the other strange thing I saw in a close patch of sky was a black plume of smoke coming out of a craft that seemed headed directly away from us - so not sure what that came from.

This was the first UAP my wife saw. I saw another one in 2011-2013 timeframe -a silver flying saucer that came out of a roll cloud miles long (east-west orientation) that seemed stationary off I-4 sometime after I left Orlando and was headed west. But that sighting was just for a few seconds and it rolled back into the cloud. Strange cloud though - as it seems stationary in the half hour or so I transited next to it.

Dark Chevron Low Over Trees

We were outside looking to check out the meteor shower when we looked northward past one of the pastures toward the treeline. The tallest trees are about 80 feet tall, and this was another 50-80 feet above the trees. This was definitely too low to be a plane. It was a dark chevron shape with four lights, two of them were white or bluish and the other two were red and green, like you might expect on an airplane, however the order of the lights was wrong and this was just the boomerang/chevron shape, no plane body or anything else that I could see. Red was on the left, green was on the right, and a white/bluish one on the front and back (picture a V, they would be at the bottom points, on the inside and outside). In addition, the lights pulsed instead of flashing on and off. This went east, or from my perspective to the right, following the treeline before the lights went dark and I lost sight of it. It made no sound, and there were no aircraft in the area as confirmed by a flight radar app.

Saw object two nights in a row

I drove down State Road 7 and noticed the object outside of Leesburg VA. It was high in the sky. Watched as I drove for about 20 minutes on my way to Winchestee VA. I stopped halfway though to record it. It hovered high in the sky, moving slightly but not much. It was in the same location the night before. I noticed it then because there wasn't a star in the sky except this extremely bright light. Second night, it was more intense and I then saw the lights blinking. Then I saw a second one that moved around much more in the distance. Same shape and lights. What I thought was super weird was that I could see it for MANY MANY MILES. Seemed to never move away from my sight. Any fixed object or plane wouldn't have been visible like that for so long as I drove down SR 7. Too high to be a light from a structure and didn't move like a plane would. Just seemed to be stationary.

At stop light, I looked to my left and saw a very bright light. It was stationary silent and beamed white light

Stopped at stop light in left turn lane on Colonial, about to turn left onto Brambleton. It was approx 5:15 pm it was dusk but still light outside, clear sky. I looked to my left and noticed a super bright light. I thought it was too early to see stars. I kept looking at it and I realized it wasn’t a star. It was too low, too big and bright and I also noticed it had a shape to it. I think it was shaped like a cross. Once I began moving and making my left turn, the light hit it and I saw some kind of haze around it and it beamed brightly, like a cross in the light. I’m terrible at estimating altitude but I’m guessing it was at 8 or 10 thousand feet. The next day I saw a post from our local news that others saw it as well and one person got a picture of it. (WDBJ7 news.) I’ll attach the photo from the article. What I was was similar but higher in the sky and just as bright white.

Report:

While driving my son-in-law to work, I observed a large, matte black aerial craft that appeared to be a drone flying at tree line level. The craft was approximately the size of a large SUV or a “short bus.” Prior to its appearance, I heard a low humming noise for about 20 seconds. However, the sound abruptly stopped a few seconds before the craft came into view.

The object had a strikingly wide body and two arms or “wings,” but I did not notice any visible propellers, lights, windows, doors, or vents. Its surface was entirely matte black, and it lacked any visible markings. The craft flew silently as it passed overhead and continued over the tree line into the distance.

The absence of lights was likely due to the bright daylight conditions at the time. What stood out most to me was the craft’s unusual width and its silent, gliding motion, which seemed inconsistent with typical drone or aircraft behavior.

I live near a base and always look up to see the helicopters at night and was just immediately shocked because whatever this was was so huge, flying so low, and weirdly shaped. I thought it was more rectangular at first, but then it turned and when closer it was like a disc with a rounded cone on top. It was covered in red, green, and clear lights and moved so smoothly. It looked just like the ones I've seen in videos in NJ. I can"t believe I just saw that.

Wife and I went out on back deck because of the sun hitting the tree tops (because the sun was setting)... quite beautiful. We saw a large gray disc that was thick in the middle and moving at high speed within a confined area in the sky directly east of Free Union, Virginia. We saw it because the sun was hitting it directly at "eye level." Acrobatic moves and direct reverses and sharp angles and high speed where it covered what may have been 15 miles in one second, multiple times. It was a very clear sighting and it was NOT a plane or any other object that we could identify. We used binoculars to get a better view. Didn't know where my camera was. It lasted for about 3 minutes. I am an educated (retired) doctor.

Multiple cell phone videos of blueish white "lights" that seemed to "dance" and chasing and zipping through the sky

While walking our dog at night on 12/10/2024 at approximately 7:24 pm, I noticed some types of quick flashes of light above us. When I looked up I noticed several sphere looking lights up in the sky. They were a blueish white light, making random movements as if they were flying around each other, almost dancing. I quickly grabbed my cell phone and hit record. At the time I did not think my cell was recording what we were seeing because when I looked at the screen I couldn't really see on screen what we were seeing in real time.it was so faint. Then suddenly the lights came together in one spot and then quickly shot out in like a starburst in all directions, very far and wide. Then nothing. My husband quickly brought the dog home and then came back out to watch with me. At that time, I reviewed my recording and was excited to see that my cell DID pick up what we saw. We continued to watch for over an hour as the lights came back multiple times, in various directions sometimes creating a sort of center and then shooting out from a combined center. At times it was like they came from miles and miles away from each other way up in the sky and joined so quickly and spurted out in like a starburst formation. It was incredible to see. At many times they were just randomly "dancing" in the sky. Between us both, we have maybe 15 videos of this event that spanned over at least an hour. In the last few of our videos you can hear a couple of jets way in the distance (we live about 13 miles from Langley Air Force Base) and then at one point come much closer and in the same direction as the lights we were seeing. My husband and I have been reviewing our recordings since that night to try to make some sense out of them. Looking for maybe beams of light coming from the ground up, thinking it's a manmade light display or something. I see no evidence of that, at all. Most especially because at many times these came from far out wide (at least a mile or two) and then converged in a center, but not a perfect center at all, and did this "dance" type thing and then hovered in a weird shape, sometimes in an octagonal shape and others juts geometric. Also, at a few points I would slow the video down and you can actually see the spheres traveling on their own - not from a beam from the ground- literally flying on their own. In the vids you can see reflection of light from the street lights, these are not what I am talking about. A few times there is also a small very ball of glow-y reflection, also not what I'm talking about.. I REALLY want to show all the vids to a field investigator, maybe they can get them from my phone and do what they need to. I have checked online and there have not been any drone light shows in our area. But either way, these did not behave like drones. I have never seen anything like this at all. Hopefully the videos come over clear to you. I have already sent a sighting report along with a few videos to MUFON on 12/11/2024. Between my husband and I we have about 15 videos to share.

Unknown object flashing light and flying erratically

My son was having trouble sleeping around 2am and looking out his window when he saw an unknown object flying in the sky. He thought it was a plane but the more he watched it he got scared (he’s still pretty young). He came and woke me up to show me. Together we watched the object fly around erratically for about 10 minutes. There was another object that I was unable to capture on my phone. It would pulse green lights that got bigger and smaller but in the same pattern. I was able to capture a short video of one of the objects.

I didn’t think much about ufos before this. But everything I could rationally think of didn’t explain what we were seeing…it didn’t look like a satellite or drone or plane or shooting star. It was incredibly odd. Anything you could share would help me calm my son’s nerves! Thanks

Quick unpredictable on/off blinking colored light appearing as unique and bizarre shapes, patterns and symbols darting around the sky

At close to 7:00 pm, I went outside to take the garbage out. As a lover of the beauty of nature, I look up to the sky and admire the moon and stars whenever I go outside at night. The night sky was clear with no clouds and a planet (Venus or Jupiter) was prominent in the south west sky.

After tossing my garbage in the bin and walking back, I observed what I assumed to be stars far above and below the planet. After a few seconds of looking, I noticed the light from these stars didn’t twinkle, but changed between solid white, red and orange. They also appeared to be moving in various directions as if they couldn’t decide which direction to go.

Curious, I pulled out my phone to view through the video camera and get a closer look and shortly after began recording video. I zoomed in a little over halfway on my iPhone 14 Pro Max’s zoom wheel. I tracked one of the objects for a period of time, zooming out to show my perspective and my surroundings and where the objects were. One of the lights in particular caught my attention due to its erratic blinking and quick movement, so I focused my camera on it.

I could not determine any physical structure to the object. It was only visible by the colored light that it emitted, which was a very quick and unpredictable blinking on and off as it moved about the sky randomly like a hyperactive Lampyridae. Each time the light blinked on, it revealed a unique glowing shape or pattern, which almost never repeated. Each shape/pattern was unique and bizarre in appearance.

The glowing shapes that appeared with each blink of the light are very hard to describe in words and would be open to anyone’s interpretation. Sometimes the shapes appeared to be 2 dimensional and other times they appear to be 3 dimensional with a notable depth.

At times the light shapes have a distinct “symbol-like” quality with seemingly deliberate accent marks, which I found very strange and creepy and impossible to describe without seeing for one’s self.

The object’s light never exhibits diffraction spikes like a star, a planet, airplane or helicopter’s navigation lights / anti-collision lights. But when zooming in on the video, many of the glowing shapes/patterns have an intense aura of light emitting out from them as if the shape/pattern itself has some material reality. The light at times is more intense in one or more regions of the shape/pattern than other parts of it and it often appears as though a shadow is being cast on it.

Most of the time the majority of the light patterns are one solid color, with some exceptions such as different accent colors or an aura of different colored light surrounding it. Like the shapes/patterns, the color of the light rarely repeats the color it was previously. The solid colors displayed include: white, grey, gold, red, orange, blue, violet, cyan, green and pink.

The closest comparison I can come up with of what the blinking colored light shapes and patterns looked like is a manic malfunctioning neon sign frantically jumping around the sky like a house fly and contorting itself in unique ways each time its multicolored light blinks on.

I’ll do my best to describe some of the glowing shapes/patterns that appear when the object blinks on; but just like how our brains imagine pictures in the clouds, they are open to interpretation.

A grey turtle shell with a bright white base and two white ‘feet’ protruding from the bottom. A blurry red cartoon depiction of Saturn or a flying saucer shape slanted up to the left at a 45 degree angle. Various colored arrowhead shapes. A white/blue horizontal teardrop. A circle surrounded by a circle of circles all touching with an orange/white/blue hue. Various colored individual circular orbs. A pink trapezoid with uneven rounded corners. A drippy orange circle with one wolf’s ear sticking up at the upper left side and another ‘ear’ pointing down at the bottom right side and a gap at the lower middle. A grey and blue hued penguin’s torso with flippers (no head or feet). A cluster of perfectly round white balls reminiscent of atoms arranged in the shape of a cartoon animal. A weird blue nose with one black nostril. A white crooked umbrella turned sideways with a purple border around it. A twisted purple figure 8. A red cube with an empty interior. An orange upside down king’s crown. A simple red Christian cross. An orange cross-section of a walnut with a sort of honeycomb-shaped perimeter. A small white rectangle with diamond shaped ends slanted 45 degrees to the right toward a larger blue rectangle that stands up straight perpendicular to the ground with black space between the two rectangles. A glowing orange silhouette of a person or animal sitting cross-legged.

These descriptions merely scratch the surface of what I observed and recorded on video. Two of the glowing shapes/patterns of light that really baffled and spooked me are the ones that look like linguistic symbols. One of which, appearing in cyan would not look out of place on a “Slow! Children At Play” safety sign along a city street.

Was in our backyard and saw what we thought to be a planet in the sky a little above the horizon. South, and a little west but then the object started to bounce around and then stayed in one location. Then it moved quickly higher into the sky. We thought it might be a helicopter with a searchlight, we thought we heard one but then saw a helicopter from a different direction. Also the amount of bouncing around… I have video of it attached. And image of air traffic radar, the only helicopter we saw was the one we heard from the other direction.

Was leaving my home each night I always look up because we see all air traffic headed up the coast right over my home.

Tonight myself, daughter and wife watched a ball of light being surrounded by aircraft’s (3 aircraft with blinking lights) as the light kept moving the other aircraft’s which were visible with blinking strobes attempted to circle around the light it vanished and they decreased in speed and I couldn’t quite process it but I wasn’t the only witness.

Was videoing a small bird in tree and an object pushed up from a white cloud and went up into a yellowish cloud above it

I was bird watching and filming on early Nov. morning and an object pushed out of a white cloud in sky beyond and above and it went into the yellowish cloud directly above it. It looked like the object was carrying parts of the fluffy white cloud with it. There was no smoke trail or exhaust trail behind the object. I only noticed it after I watched the video I made and not while I was making the video. When I watched it, I almost wondered if it was a really large bird flying up from the cloud with clouds still clinging to it. Then I wondered if it was a type of rocket. While I was filming, there was a large noise after the object went into the cloud above the one it came out of, almost like a rocket that had taken off. I didn't see a long trail.Then I wondered if the loud noise was vehicle traffic on the highway behind me, because there is a lot of that. The sound was in the video. The object comes in at about 11 - 15 seconds into the film and the noise comes in at about 25 - 30 seconds near the end.

A boomerang shaped nebulous translucent cloud flew over my apartment. It was at least a 100’ in the air. I would judge the size had it been on the ground to have a wingspan of 20’-30’. I was on the balcony as it passed overhead. It was completely silent. I thought it may be balloons. But it couldn’t have been because each “balloon” was stretched out sideways into the boomerang shape. The speed was much faster than balloons in the wind.

Saw unnaturally bright and very large shape descend rapidly from sky to land

My husband and I were driving east on Lewis B Puller Mem Hwy between West Point, VA and Saluda, VA when we witnessed something that startled us both. The night sky was open and wide before us as we traveled on the road. Tall trees on either side of the highway. What we saw was an extremely brightly lit large shape. I say it was an inverted chevron; my husband thought it seemed more rectangular in shape. Hard to see the structure of the object--mostly just intense glowing light. (It didn't not look plane-shaped or like any object we've ever seen before nor was it a round object.) I perceived it as bright yellow and then bright green--I couldn't tell if the color was changing as it neared the ground or whether I had been seeing the side/top of the object (yellow) and then the green light was when I could see the light emitting from the bottom of it. It descended so rapidly high out of the sky (from the east) and toward across the sky headed west and gliding towards the ground (disappearing from our view at the tree line) -- maybe in about 3 seconds -- that we both presumed we would hear a giant crashing sound when it collided with earth but we heard nothing. We both perceived the object as being one large object. We were at least a quarter of a mile away (possibly more) so couldn't see structural details. Very hard to judge size from that distance, but 25-50 feet? We both had the strong impression that it must have landed somewhere beyond the tree line past where we could see because it had come so close to the ground so quickly and then utterly disappeared from view as it approached land. Despite the rapid descent of the object, it appeared completely in control. It glided so smoothly, it almost seemed like light itself moving rather than a large object.

Both of us are in our 50s. We have glasses-corrected vision, which has recently been checked. We both have advanced degrees. Neither of us has ever thought we saw anything in the night sky that couldn't be easily explained. This all happened so quickly that we didn't think to try to take a photo/video.

Formation of lights moving fast then disappearing rather abruptly

My 5 year old son and I were out trying to see if we can spot the comet Atlas-3 in the east shortly after sun down. All of a sudden he pointed out a formation of lights, in which I assumed was Starlink. We were then facing south watching the lights moving from E to SW. It was about 12 in total maybe a few more maybe a few less. Seemed to be very high altitude but moving very fast. Lasted about 10 to 15 seconds then just vanished. About a min later my son again pointed out a single bluish white orb kinda just bobbing around rather erratically towards the NW from the SE. Orb was also at a more lower altitude and than the formation. Odd enough that my son said airplanes do not fly like that. No blinking lights and no sound with either the formation nor the orb. Looked up Starlink locations for my area and site stated that no satellites are viewable in my area in the next 5 days. October 22nd and 23rd 5:59 am and 6:09 am

Bright silvery triangle-shaped object moves at high rate of speed across evening sky

Me and my girlfriend were outside getting ready to start a routine evening/night walk, when she started screaming for me to look at the sky in the direction she was facing. We observed a bright silvery triangle shaped craft that moved faster than fighter jets I have seen moving about in our VA skies all the time. It moved from North to South, our POV of the object was from about 40° to 45° as it moved it created what appeared to be “ V” shaped waves or distortion behind the object. Incident lasted maybe 5 to 10 seconds before it was totally out of view.

I saw a white and green object falling from the sky, moving relatively fast, no sound or trail. One solid light. Round.

It was approximately 9:50 P.M. on Thursday, October 3, 2024. I was on the street corner diagonal to the Powhatan Sports Complex in Norfolk, VA. I had just stopped to check something on my phone, when all of a sudden, I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a spherical object heading towards the ground. It was a solid light, with an appearance similar to a flare, but there was no trail behind it, and it wasn't pulsating. It had a primary white color with a green hue surrounding it. I observed it for only 2 seconds. The object was very low, heading at a very high rate of speed, with no distinguishable wings or navigation/anti-collision lights or beacons on it. It did not make any noise. It appeared to be heading southwest, towards the cargo ship port, but it vanished too quickly to see where it was heading. There was no visible source of propulsion either.

I saw a small dark diamond teardrop UAP

I walk outside my place of worship (there is a base down the street) to help someone this afternoon. When I look in the sky I see fighter jets flying around nothing out of the ordinary I enjoy watching them fly around. When I look to the far upper right side of the sky away from the fighter jet I see a seemingly small dark metallic object with no markings almost smooth cruising quickly going in the opposite direction. It was either teardrop or diamond and it started moving fast when I kept observing it. It was completely silent. I tried to take a picture but failed to it moved out of the field of view in 6 secs. I couldn’t believe it at first I thought it might be a balloon or bird or plane, but with its smooth movements and precision moving side to side up and down and then moving quickly out of view while not looking aerodynamic I knew it wasn’t traditional aircraft. Maybe it’s a new military craft that’s being tested or similar to the cube UAP’s seen around VA Beach. I just wanted to report it as soon as I could.

It was about 1 o’clock in the morning. I went out on my back deck to have a smoke before going to bed. I was sitting on the porch swing looking at the sky. I saw a fireball shoot through the sky. It was white at the nucleus with a green tail. It was directly to the west, flying on a north to south trajectory. I checked my phone to record the time. It was large, too large to be a shooting star. I kept waiting to hear an impact, but never heard anything.

NATO air show on beach photos while f22 demo

On Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, at 12:15 pm, the F22 Raptor performed its demo over the Virginia Beach area. The event was roughly from 24th Street to 19th Street. Many attended that day, watching all the jets perform their demos. I was located at 20th Street, right on the beach facing North. At 12:15 pm, the F22 traveled South and sharply turned to the East. At this time, I was taking photos zoomed in with my iPhone since I was further away from the jet’s location. About five days after the event, I was looking through the photos and noticed there was something in the background of the F22. The object seems to be oval, either black or brown. Don't believe it's another aircraft as there was nothing else flying at that time, and you couldn't notice this from the naked eye. A bird wouldn't be that large from the distance we were at, and the size compared to the F22 seems like it wouldn’t be a bird. In a photo taken 35 seconds before the object appeared, there was nothing in the photo. It appeared in one photo, and that’s it. I uploaded a video taken 2 minutes after the photo with the object was taken. You don't see anything in the distance that looks similar to the object seen in the photo. Our family has seen F22s and many other jets fly for so many years and never seen anything in pictures until this one.

Seen 4 separate times in past 2 weeks. it is not a drone or plane or any identifiable aircraft

Saw what I thought was a plane flying across the sky. The object stopped above my house with flashing lights of white and blue. This is the 4th separate time in past 2 weeks I have seen something like this stop in the exact same spot. They appear to be at least a mile above the ground and the shape is unidentifiable due to the altitude. However it appears to be round based on its movements. It moves very fast and stops suddenly. It did not emit any noticeable sound. The night sky is very clear and this object was definitely out of the norm. I observe the sky in my yard multiple times each night and early morning and this is not a usual sight. I had my wife and my father verify what I was seeing as well. Father did not view this sighting but 2 of other 3 in past 2 weeks. It’s breathtaking but also terrifying that this is the 4th time in 2 weeks.

Riding in a friends Tesla, I looked up through the sunroof which slightly tinted the sun. I saw this sphere flying past

We were driving back to work around Fort Belvoir from the Exxon gas station near Highway 95. It was around 1:45pm. Very hot day. Riding passenger in my friends Tesla I told him hey look at that. We both saw a flying sphere through his sunroof directly above us. Most likely black in color and crossing path of my view of the sun directly above. About half distance of a normal plane in altitude. I did not have my phone and friend was turning left. I then saw a military helicopter flying very low almost immediately after with weapons attached I believe Blackhawk or Apache. The sphere craft had no sound and was not a balloon. 2 bright lights that moved toward us then very bright light that illuminated the entire horizon. Zero sound when moving past us.

We wanted to see the very large low hanging crescent moon. We walked down the street to get a better view. In front of us were 2 larger lights that were horizontal to each other and perfectly aligned. It seemed odd. I asked the other witness "are those stars?" They did not appear like the other stars. Shortly after I said that the two lights began to move directly at us at a slow, consistent speed, moving in complete unison. Once they stopped moving towards us a very, very bright light shown. It started out dimmer and increasingly got brighter. It's hard to tell exactly where the light was coming from on the object. When the light shown it illuminated the entire horizon. We could literally see the horizon a mile away. After about maybe 10 seconds the light began to dim again and went completely away. Now the other two lights, the initial lights that we saw were visible again. These two lights slowly and in unison passed right in front of us without any sound. It was completely quiet. It was very hard to make out any type of shape of the object because it was so dark and the light we had just witnessed was so bright. When it went beyond the trees, I noticed what looked to be a row of green lights on the back of the object. In a straight line. The other witness did not see this as it was out of view for them. This is something that neither of us had ever seen before. It was a very large object much larger than any drone. It was also not a plane nor a helicopter. This took place by an ammunition plant in a rural area.

While launching fireworks on 7/4 my family and I saw a bright orange sphere start low on horizon and initially we thought it was fireworks but the object slowly crawled across sky heading from the southwest to the northeast and at one point it slowed down and angled to the east. There is no way it was a firework as it covered miles across the sky as it moved slowly across the sky. It was very large and appeared to be at least 15-30k feet in the sky, too high for even commercial fireworks. We also considered it to be an asteroid but the object didnt leave any trails and at one point seemed like it slowed down and changed direction from a NE heading to an E heading. It looked like an orb surrounded by a bright glowing flame looking glow.

Lights near the Big Dipper appear, travel with constant velocity, brighten to yellow and dim to white before disappearing.

At 11:40 PM on June 11th 2014, I saw a bright light in the sky and judged it to be an airplane. The brightness of the goldenrod yellow light appeared to cover a circular or elliptical area, with an absence of dim sections or other lights that would indicate a left or right-hand side.

I did not hear sound accompany the directly Northbound light, which dimmed to white which left this light-source appearing much more like the satellites I'm used to seeing. The dimming was gradual, and constant for about one second leaving only the soft white. The white light then disappeared, approximately ten seconds after I took notice of it.

After that, I remained in the area with the intention of finding where it went. The soft light was not directed at me, and glowed more than shined so naturally I didn't expect what I thought was a passenger airplane to now more closely resemble a satellite. Over the next several minutes, more lights appeared near to the same constellation.

The second of which was never glowing so bright yellow. But about a minute after the first, and while still looking upward this new light appeared and moved from East to directly West at the same rate of speed before I lost vision of it while looking straight at it. To be clear, I had what plainly resembled a star or satellite in eye-sight and then lost it.

Less than a minute later, I took notice of a bright and slightly darker goldenrod colored light of the same size and glow at almost 90 degrees above and moving from South to North. However, I can't account for a light-source moving that fast. The glow appeared more of a stream at the velocity observed, and then it vanished without dimming and without breaking the sound barrier. I estimate that after becoming visible, it remained clear until its new position was 2 degrees lower from my North-facing perspective in the span of a tenth of a second. The movement was faster than a shooting star, and when I saw it I felt dizzy, with a continuing mild nausea over the next hour.

After what felt closer to a minute, a similarly glowing light in the same color as the first described moved from West to East through the sky, originating closer to Arcturus. However, the velocity was no greater than a shooting star and visibility was even more brief.

From this time on, I noticed several other lights moving at very similar speed. The next of which originating from closer to Altais and also moving directly North from a Southern origin. They were all common in that their velocities remained exact for the duration of their visibility, their heading was always a cardinal direction, sound was not audible and appearance and loss of visibility was instant in all cases rather than gradual.

Importantly, other aircraft occupied the sky South, and East of this position. These however were structured passenger craft with lights indicating left-hand and right-hand sides, were audible and remained visible in the clear, cloudless sky until their passing over the horizon.

I've no professional background on this subject, I'm a plane watcher and avid star-gazer.

A slow moving upright, slowly rotating circular disk was witnessed at Langley AFB, Virginia during the day.

Time witnessed: Approximately 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Location: Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Virginia – Armistead Gate
Weather: Clear skies in all directions, unlimited visibility, and ground winds coming from the east.

An upright, slowly rotating, circular object was seen entering Langley airspace from the Chesapeake Bay at a slow speed. The object looked silver and would give off a reflection from the sun every rotation at about 2 to 3 second intervals.
When I first observed the object, it appeared to be at an altitude of approximately 2,000 feet and moving from the approach end of runway 26 towards the NASA facility. Upon reaching the NASA facility, the object stopped and appeared to hover stationary while also starting to slowly climb in altitude from the stationary position.

The object had been climbing for at least 30 seconds to a minute before I thought to try and capture it on my phone. It was too far and too small at the time to find it on my video setting, but I was able to locate it with my camera. It continued to climb for over 5 minutes to an altitude that had to be well over 10,000 feet in the same stationary position before it started to slowly move east/northeast out over the Chesapeake Bay while still climbing.

The entire time, the object could be located visually from the strobe light effect that it gave off from the reflection of the sun. After approximately 45 minutes, we could only see the occasional reflection/strobe, and the object at that time appeared to be in the higher flight levels, continuing to move to the east/northeast toward the Atlantic Ocean.

Took a shot of the end of the rainbow and did not see this until we looked at the photo on a big screen today.

My husband took this photo of the end of the rainbow the day of the Run for Children's Hospital in downtown Norfolk (Waterside) on May 11/24 at 6:12 am. We just now (6/14/24) looked at the photo and found this thing in the air. My husband is retired military - he was quite surprised to find the thing and says that it was NOT visible in the sky when he took the photo, so it must have been moving at a very high speed. Probably ours, but definitely not what we usually see around here.

Video of lights in sky at high altitude that were darting back and forth, and also going in ciccles.

My house is on the side of Bull Run Mountain, with the rear deck facing east. This is about 14 miles from Dulles International Airport. My vantage point is that it doesn’t have much light pollution. On a clear night I can see planes landing and taking off from the airport. I noticed a few lights directly over my property at high altitude darting back and forth as well as going in circles. I was able to see this with my eyes much better than I was able to get it on video. The video I'm sharing was the best. There were some cirrostratus clouds that seemed to obscure the lights from time to time. It seemed at times the light would vanish under the edge of a cloud and reappear a great distance away within one second or so. Before I started taking the video I followed one such light from directly overhead as it moved across the sky in a southern direction. As it reached the southernmost part of the sky where I couldn't see any farther, it disappeared and it, or another light, appeared directly overhead where it had started.

Six or seven lights in sky, seemed way to close to be satellites. No sound. 5-8 orb-shaped lights, in a perfectly straight row heading SE then suddenly disappearing.

After picking up my friend at the Richmond Airport at 9:06pm, we drove south on airport drive. As we went up the Airport Dr. bridge, passing the San-j building on our right, my friend pointed out the passenger side window (west) at lights in the sky among the airplanes passing by. There were no clouds whatsoever and we could clearly see planes, the moon, and constellations, but this UFO stood out. I slowed the car down to avoid swerving while leaning to look out the passenger window and saw the object(s) clearly.

It had 5-8 clear, bright orbs, seemingly attached to something keeping them in a perfect line. The orbs were distinct, clearly not reflections. They seemed lower than the airplanes around them and brighter, and moved southeast towards/above us. My friend put down her bag to grab her phone and was able to snap one, blurry picture before the objects completely disappeared. The whole event was maybe three seconds before the object(s) seemingly vanished.

We immediately scanned the sky for any signs but found none. We u-turned and circled back around the area but could find nothing. We checked Starlink and Blue Origin and there were no listed satellite releases or launches of any kind at our time and location.
