Triangle shapes moved very slowly to the north.

Three tourists were on the beach looking up. My friend said there are your UFOs, because every night I'm looking. Their basic shape was triangle, but in rear there was a cut out. They moved very slowly across the sky. I took a picture but nothing is showing on the picture. I really don't know what they were but there was no sound and they weren't low so they were big. My friend said they were jets. I said they are moving too slow to be jets. I have seen very strange lights in PA where I grew up and lived but never nothing like this.

Noticed an image in a picture when looking at it on my phone

I did not see the object until looking at pictures on my phone when we got back from vacation in St. Croix USVI. We have no idea what it is and do not remember seeing a hot-air balloon or kites while there. There were 4 of us on vacation and no one can remember seeing anything strange in the sky. I have other pictures of the same angle seconds apart and nothing is there,

Eleven stars moving and then disappearing

I looked up due north at about 60 to 70 degrees of arc and saw a star. It then moved down to the right at a 45 degree angle and traveled about the size of your little finger if you held your hand up to the sky. And then it disappeared. Then right where it had first appeared, another star lit up again and followed the same trajectory down and disappeared or dissolved. After about three times, two stars one right after the other repeated the sequence. Then it was back to just one star. This happened about ten times in a row. Then, out of the western sky came another star moving very fast and came up to where the ten stars had lit up and disappeared and headed into the northern sky until it disappeared over the horizon. This star only took about five seconds to travel from the western sky over to the northern sky and disappear over the horizon.

UFO seen above the US Virgin Islands.

On January 12th 2020 at 17:59 in St. Thomas, USVI, I saw something I cannot explain. Hovering fairly high was an object that did not seem to move. The object looked like a doughnut, the outside ring was white-ish (almost transparent like a plastic milk carton) and the center was very dark. I could only watch it for a few minutes, as I am a ferry ship captain and was leaving on departure.

As I was boarding my passengers, everyone was looking up at it with amazement. I took 3 videos, and 2 pictures. They were taken on an iphone, and are mostly fuzzy. (I will be emailing you the videos and pictures) There are moments in the videos that are clear and you can pause it and see the object fairly well. While I was captaining the vessel, my crew were watching the object. They said it turned red for a few moments, then disappeared.

I have been a cruise ship captain for over ten years and have never seen anything like this. I have used celestial navigation, and am certain this is not a star or planet.

Red triangle seen over us Virgin Islands on New Year's Eve.

My boyfriend and I were on a boat at a firework launch sight for a new years eve celebration.

We were on our one minute countdown to midnight when, above our small island, rose a red inverted triangle. Each point of the triangle had a red light.

At first my boyfriend thought they were flares but then we noticed they weren't moving AT ALL.

At midnight, the fireworks went off and we lost sight. When I found them again during a break, the point of the triangle was on top instead of bottom, but the whole formation was in the same vicinity as before.

Judging by distance, I would guess the object was about 100 ft on each side.

Tried to catch a photo, but being on the water in waves, I could not get a clear shot.

My friend and I were sitting on the back porch of my house when we saw a white light travelling fairly quickly north of Saint Thomas, USVI. We watched it disapear behind a cloud and 2 seconds later we saw the clouds light up in a bright orange/red flare for less than a second. It was near the end of twilight and very few stars were visable.

Four bright amber coloured lights spotted flying straight upward and into space over the Caribbean Sea in the Virgin Islands.

I live on the south shore of St. John in the US Virgin Islands. I walked onto my balcony at around midnight and noticed, at first, three amber coloured lights. I ran inside to grab my binoculars (I thought they were helicopters) and when i returned, I realized they were not flying in a straight line, but, rather, UP. And then another appeared, as if it came out of the Caribbean Sea.

The first three I saw stayed in formation (I couldn't tell if they were connected) and continued to fly upwards...into space! They fourth, which lagged behind, did the same and followed the same course as the others. I also watched this one as it slowly disappeared into the clear night sky. There were no sounds. No flashing lights.

I have lived in the Caribbean for 15 years and I have never seen anything like what I saw earlier tonight. These were not jet airplanes, nor were they flares. These were real UFO's and I am stoked to have FINALLY seen one in my lifetime.

Every night I see this object in the sky from St John U.S.Virgin Islands.

At 22:00 it is at a bearing of 172* magnetic and about 20* from the horizon. It shines brightly white with flashing blue and red lights. I can not detect any movement. It just hangs there. I do not know of any satellite that flashes blue and red lights. With binoculars you can see the blue and red flashing light very clearly. Do you know what this is?

Erratic ball of light

Held onto this info for years, but just wanted to note it as something I could never fully explain. Also feel compelled to share given media reports the last year.

I was on a trip with 4 friends and staying at the Carambola Beach Resort in St. Croix. It faces due north to the ocean and next island is in the BVIs many miles away. My friend called me out of the shower around 10pm and had me look outside. There was a large storm cloud about 2 miles off the island and produced a bit of lightning. Cloud top I would say was 4000 ft with low ceiling of 1500 ft. Small commercial prop plane was flying below at about 1000 ft. to the water line. There was a glowing white ball of light that originated from the cloud and moved in an erratic way over the horizion. The best way I could explain it would be like moving a laser pointer on a white wall. The object moved at angles no aircraft could perform at. The light continued to dance around the sky for 10 minutes in and out of the cloud. Up, down, zigzag. It stayed above the single engine prop plane until the aircraft left the area. The ball came out of the cloud and lastly went back into the cloud--with a large boom/lightning. Then fully disappeared. Gone. It was viewed by us 4 plus another 6 people staying next to us. We did not see it happen again the rest of our trip. It did not make any sense as there is nothing but open ocean north of the island.

Streaks of light moving quickly and erratically around an open field.

I was taking pictures of the double rainbow in front of our home, when I saw several white circles of light out of the corner of my eye. The odd part was that I could not see them when I looked directly toward them. They appeared to be moving very quickly and changed directions often, staying in the area directly in front of our home. It was not raining where the objects were spotted, as the rain was still over the mountains at the back of the photos. I was able to record them on several photographs. I've ruled out any lens flares, as there was no direct light hitting the camera, and there was no water on the lens. I've taken several thousand photos with this camera and have never seen any thing like this before. At a friend’s suggestion, I'm reporting them to see if anyone can explain what the objects might be.

My background is in computer science from University of Baltimore, I've worked in research and development and academic computing most of my life. I'm currently consulting for several companies here on St. Croix and I'll be teaching a computer class at the University of the Virgin Islands in the fall. Basically, I am pretty much a skeptic of anything that can't be explained by science and I’ve done my best to explain what these lights could be. However, I'm at a loss to explain what I've seen.

A bright Orange Object appeared to be observing our cruise ship in the southern atlantic ocean

We were on a Carnival ship on the Southern Atlantic, we were heading in a south easterly direction, when on the port side of the ship my husband and I were on the balcony and I thought I saw a shooting star,my husband turned around to make a wish when this thing or whatever you call it stop dead and came towards us, approximate feet was about 50 above water, it looked as though it was about 100 yards from us. Then it proceeded toward us and stopped again, then it went to the right of us and then darted out on an angle to the rear of the ship and came back into the rear of the ship and the whole time we were watching this lighted object I was telling it to come back don't be afraid, then it dissapeared right out of sight as quick as it came.

We were on a dingy going from Saphire Beach to Red Hook. The night was really dark because it was a new moon, but my friend and I took this trip many of times. We knew exactly where we were at when this bright light shine right over us like the time had stopped. When we were spot it by who ever it was there was no sound but just a huge light on top of us. The light was not any kind of light that I had ever seen. When that light shined on us I took a look at my friend and it was like a slow motion. I told my friend that I would never repeat this story, but after reading some of yours, I figure I would like to let you know.

Summary : Was staring at a very clear night sky over the Caribbean when overhead I saw what appeared to be a satellite (I see them very often). This object started moving in a straight path overhead, but then made three radical changes in a north-northwest direction while moving at the same incredible speed. To my knowledge, no jet can make those manuevers and satellites must travel a fixed path in orbit. The entire event lasted around 5 seconds. No weird lights, just what looked like a brighter (larger?) than normal satellite making a crazy pattern in the sky unlike anything should be able to do physically.

I am a fund-raising consultant who works to help non-profits and churchs raise money for capital campaigns. I was working for a church in Charlotte Amalie when this event occurred.

A HUGE LIGHT FLOATING OVER OUR HOUSE IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS.

I WAS HOME ALONE WITH MY 2 BROTHERS, MY MOTHER WAS TEACHING NIGHT SCHOOL. I HAPPENED TO LOOK OUT THE BACK WINDOW BECAUSE I SAW A GLARE FROM MY PERIFERAL VISION. THERE WAS A HUGE LIGHT FLOATING OVER OUR HOUSE, CLOSER TO THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. I CALLED MY 2 BROTHERS (1 YOUNGER, 1 OLDER) AND SHOWED THEM. NOW I WAS ABOUT 15 YEARS OLD AND WAS INFATUATED WITH OUTER SPACE. THIS IS HOW I KNOW IT WASN'T A HELLICOPTER OR ANY CRAFT OF THIS PLANET. IT WAS THERE FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, ABOUT 20 FT. ABOVE THE ROOF. WE WENT OUTSIDE AND STOOD ALMOST UNDER IT. IT DIDN'T MOVE. I REMEMBER EVERY DETAIL LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY. WHEN WE WERE OUTSIDE I REMEMBER LOOKING TO SEE IF I COULD SEE WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL IT WAS MADE FROM BUT COULND'T TELL. ALL WE COULD SEE IS LIGHT BUT IT WASN'T BLINDING. I LISTENED TO SEE IF I HEARD ANY SOUND COMING FROM IT, BUT THERE WAS NONE, THIS IS HOW I KNOW IT WASN'T A CHOPPER. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES WE MOVED FROM THE WINDOW, WALKED BACK TO THE WINDOW AND IT WAS GONE. I KNOW WHAT I SAW, AND I REMEMBER IT VIVIDLY. I was 11 years old, living with my mother in an apartment on the North Side of St.Thomas, in estate Rosenthahl. The North side of the island was very undeveloped at the time, so there were few houses nearby, it was mostly jungle or "bush" near our house.

My mother was out on the balcony watering potted plants when she called me to come look at something. I came out and saw a saucer like aircraft hovering almost at eye-level to us. Our apartment was aproximatley 500 to 700 feet above sea-level on the side of a mountain. Magen's Bay was to the left of our view and we looked out at a small hill just opposite of our building, about 400 feet opposite. On the other side of the small hill is now Mahogany Run gold course which, at the time belonged to St. Thomas Dairy and was a pasture.

The Atlantic Ocean is beyond.

It was a perfectly clear sunny day and the sun was behind us, we were looking due north. The craft was brilliantly shiny, like highly polished chrome and the sun glinted off of it, the rest of it appeared dark because it was in shadow. I was trying to figure out how far away from us it was; I think it was beyond the hill opposite of us, probably about a half mile away, hovering above the pasture, but visible to us over the top of the small hill.

Prior to this experience, I thought a spinning saucer shaped ufo was an absurd concept, but this was not spinning, and there it was before my eyes. It appeared disc shaped because of the way the sun was glinting off of it, but we were seeing its edge, from the side. It was like two thin pie plates one inverted on top of an upright one on the bottom. It was sleek and stealth. The lower portion in shadow was more pie plate shaped, with more vertical sides, the top was flatter. It was not mushroom cap shaped. It was not very large, about 15 to twenty feet in diameter. It made no sound. It was a quiet day and all you could hear were the birds singing.

The most remarkable thing about it was how it moved. At first it was absolutely still then it moved from left to right with unwavering precision, and back again and up and down a very little. It moved only about 20 to 40 feet to the sides, as if it were focusing or getting a better angle. It moved up and down only about 10 feet or so. Every movement it made was exact, no wobble, and it went from absolute standstill to movement with no acceleration or deceleration. It moved with phenomenal speed, from zero to super fast to zero again without any lurching. It stopped between left and right movements and stayed unmoving for a couple seconds, and I definitely had the impression it was observing my mother and I as we were watching it.

It stayed in the same area of the sky, right in front of us for the majority of the time, and then moved further to the left, as if it was checking out something else and stayed there for only a few seconds more and then it abruptly took off in an ascending arc, going north-west from horizontal to about 45 degrees at a phenomenal rate of speed and disappeared from sight into the dark blue zenith of the sky. The duration that we observed it was hardly more than a minute.

A bright white sphere seen in the night sky

In the Spring of 1966 or 1967 a high school classmate of mine and I were attending a nighttime party at another classmate’s home. There was no alcohol involved. Two of us took a ride on his motorcycle in the countryside when we both spotted a windowless, small bright white object suddenly appear in the sky, move horizontally very rapidly in a straight line and then suddenly disappear. We did not believe it was a plane or a weather balloon or a “shooting star” because it moved so fast. We both felt an odd sensation on the back of our necks. It did not make a sound and there was no visible means of propulsion.
