Cigar shaped vanished

It looked like a small air craft but no wings. The reflection caught my eye and I watched it. Then it went into a pocket in the sky.

It wasn't a shooting star, or a plane. It was just gone. I was on the phone and stopped mid conversation to explain what I just saw. It was higher than a plane would go, but lower than the stars. Very amazing. Someone else had to have seen this.

In the elevated area of Johnson Siding, SD. There was a string of 6 green lights moving at a moderate rate of speed from NW to SE, towards the area of the bald hills. They were way too high up to be drones. They were not close together at all, but moved in perfect unison headed E towards Rapid City. These were not satellites or Star Link. They simply disappeared before hitting the light polluted area. Just poof.

Pulsating/vibrating orb

Around 7:30 spotted orb like light in the sky. Despite cloud cover and no stars visible, it was very bright, but stationary. It began moving slowly in a meandering pattern and almost vibrating/shaking in its motion and the light would pulse bright and then go dark before brightening again. It did this about 4 times in the five minutes we watched it before it suddenly disappeared. One of our group noticed a red and green light attached to the UAP that would appear every now and then but not consistently.

It was in a m/w pattern all lights faced toward me, no blinking. No sound until it was to my right

Was driving and saw lights that I thought were stadium lights. They were facing toward me the whole time in a shape that resembled an M with dots on the end to also make it look like a W. They got closer and went directly in front of my vehicle a few miles above me, moved across the vision of my windshield and off to the right. I only heard sound after I could no longer see it and am unable to determine if the sound came from that or a legitimate airplane. It was large. Yellow/white lights. My son was with me and heard me react but did not observe what I did.

I’m driving on us18 headed towards hot springs SD and I see what I thought was 2 shooting stars coming down from space

Truck driver: I’m driving on us18 headed towards hot springs SD on my way to rapid city..(I know there is a air force base there so I am aware that may have been those guys.. - but also jets do act a very specific way and as far as I know can’t stop in mid air) and I see what I thought was 2 shooting stars coming down from space.. I make my wishes and everything. By the time I was finished making my wish those 2 vanished… it looked odd to me how they disappeared, but then I didn’t think much of it.. A few moments later like a minute or so it was a exact replay of what I seen.. ( I thought to myself- “wtf” ) as I watched them come down again, these 2 stopped in mid air and circled each other as if they were switching sides then one went left and the other went right, I’m like “no fkin way!…” then they flew out of sight, I could barely see them way off out there in front of me.. That’s when I had to try and record what I was seeing while driving an 18 wheeler. It didn’t work , all I got was blurry image. I did record 19 minutes after that and kinda got one in the very beginning. Like 5 seconds of it before it completely disappeared. Anyway honestly I don’t know what the fk I saw , but for dam sure they weren’t shooting stars and certainly they weren’t airplanes of anything I think the Air Force uses that I know of. But all I’m doing is just simply reporting something that did look very unidentifiable and it was extremely strange.

There were 2 stars on the southern Horizon parallel to the other...It was cloudy..no stars... However these stars should not have been there... The one to the left for sure as it was larger and brighter... I stopped my vehicle to take a picture... after that I got back in the truck and started to drive the left star moved quite quickly to a position above and to my left... I drove to find a place to stop and view...but it zoomed... zipped away in a second... It was a large bright oval and obviously under control of some entity...

Larger than football field sized craft few over the sky in less than 10 seconds

I'm an astrophotographer, so I'm well-versed in what a typical night sky looks like in terms of high and low earth satellites, Starlink, northern lights, rocket launches, and military craft (we have a major Air Force base in Rapid City). I’m familiar with these because they often interfere with my astro shots, and I’m outside enough to notice them. The night sky between here and Wyoming is usually clear and stunning. That being said, what my wife and I both saw last night made our jaws drop. There is simply no man-made explanation for what we witnessed.

My wife and I were stargazing in our backyard around 8:00 PM Mountain Time when I personally noticed something odd: an orb with a gray haze surrounding it shot across the sky in about 6 seconds. It looked incredibly strange, and I mentioned it to my wife, who missed it. I tried to convince myself that maybe I was just seeing things, but then, as I pointed out the area I saw it in, a massive right-angle-shaped craft appeared from the northwest and crossed the sky to the east in about 10 seconds. It wasn’t V-shaped per se, but rather a perfect right angle.

To my eyes, the craft seemed to be in the upper atmosphere or low orbit, and it had to be the size of multiple football fields. There were a few planes in the sky, and this was way higher than those, but not as high as Starlink satellites, at least from what I could tell. What made it even stranger was the clearly visible under-lights, which were white and structured. Surrounding the lights was almost a grayish-white hazy aura, giving it an ethereal appearance. The whole craft, for lack of a better term, looked almost like a ghost ship with that eerie aura. When it passed above us, you could see both the lights and the structure. It moved silently, like a stingray gliding through the sky, smooth and quick and did not change directions. We only had about 10 seconds to observe it, just enough to grasp what we were looking at. Even if we had our astro gear set up, it wouldn’t have been a good enough shot to capture it because it moved too quickly and would have been blurry.

Based on my experience, satellites can take up to 2 minutes to cross the sky, but this took only 10 seconds and had a visible structure. It had to be moving at an incredible speed, way faster than any military aircraft in our area and faster than any satellite. I would estimate it was about 3 times slower than a shooting star.

My wife and I both confirmed what we saw. To avoid influencing each other’s perspective, we went inside and drew what we saw without sharing until we were done. We depicted the same craft. Later, we made a Photoshop image of it, which I’ll attach here.

Based on my research, a typical Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite travels at about 7.8 km/s (approximately 17,500 mph) and takes around 5 minutes (300 seconds) to cross the sky, covering a distance of roughly 2,340 km. In contrast, the object I observed covered a similar distance in just 10 seconds, meaning it was moving at an incredible speed of about 234 km/s, or 523,440 mph. To put this into perspective, the fastest known spy plane, the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, publicly has a top speed of over 2,200 mph. This means the object I saw was moving at speeds approximately 238 times faster than our fastest aircraft.

Blue Orb UFO with white rings

Throughout the last two weeks of July I observed a blue (pulsating violet) orb with rotating white rings hovering over houses in my neighborhood. It seemed to sense when you would start to watch it, and it would fly off at an incredible speed. Object made no noise. I observed this object three times the last two weeks of July but only on the second sighting the night of July 24, 2024 did I have my phone available to video the encounter. The first time I observed the object I ran into my house to get my phone to record the incident but when I returned to my porch and brought my phone up to record, the pulsating blue object made a 90 degree turn and sped off to the east at a very high rate of speed. My second encounter was at night in front of my house. At first I thought it was a star but quickly determined it to be moving. I activated my iPhone and recorded it, tracking it to the southeast of my location, hovering past my tree, as I recorded the object for approximately 1 1/2 minutes, it rapidly accelerated and disappeared.

Saw it for max 4 seconds as we turned to hurry inside and shut the blinds. There was no craft visible. It was like a big energy transfer I get a feeling it was.

The light came down as above and the ball formed quickly maybe 2 seconds. Its diameter is much larger than the light green and light blue transparent beam.

Stationary object seen hovering with no movement from the wind. Object shimmered out of vision, reappeared, the shimmered out again.

10 ft wide, black triangular object seen near power lines easy of the interstate north of Sioux Falls SD. Object did not move, even in high winds. Object shimmered, then disappeared from view. Object reappeared ~100 yards away, was visible, the again shimmered, briefly going between visible and invisible, before disappearing. Myself and my traveling companion saw the object. We were sober, listening to a podcast. I enjoy pointing out various types of birds while driving. This was absolutely not a bird, did not look like a quadcopter, was not moving forward/backward, or up and down.

Very large chevron descending.

At around 2:45 am we seen a very large (building size) chevron shaped craft appear out of nowhere a few hundred feet up on a descent path down over the highway. We have seen these craft several times before and they appear to be following a flight path.

The craft was extremely large and a clearly defined Chevron with squared off flat sides. The craft appear as a hole in the sky and are defined by shimmering edges, this was the closest we have seen one enough to make out geometric detail in the shimmering. The craft was around 500 meters away and did not make a sound, no visible light except the edges shimmering.

As the craft descended down behind the buildings we jumped in our car and were around back of the business in 30 seconds but it was not there on the other side.

Earlier tonight we seen 2 smaller chevron craft of the same type just smaller following the same path, in the past we have seen a large one of this type on the same flight path only it turned east to avoid a air plane taking off from the air port to the north.

These craft seam incredibly camouflaged and it’s really only possible to easily spot them against a back lit sky as they seam to absorb light, for the second time in a row we attempted to get them on video but when we attempt to film them the shimmering cause the camera to loose focus and go crazy with artifacts.

Edit: I’m not sure what’s going on with my compasses, I have 3 and they are all giving me different direction readings but I believe the craft was west of me moving to the north over Sioux Falls.

I was on my way to work, and it was unlike any ordinary morning. I was approaching the end of the block on 16th avenue Northeast of Aberdeen (sd) when all the sudden some strange orb in the sky caught my eye. It was pulsating from red to blue and seemed to be moving. All the sudden I see three orange orbs, what I though was a plane, come down and fly just about above the rooftops of the houses on the right of me---VERY, VERY CLOSE. I noted, however, I did not hear this thing that was very close, and the lights were wide apart and unblinking. This is when I called my mom and put her on speaker; as I was terrifed. Oddly, in that direct moment, it shifted from towards me to flying beside me. She went outside and noted that she seen nothing but a plane flying (or so she though), but later on after work, I recalled what I had seen... the orange lights, and she said it was strange, but she seen some really high up, and one of them was like a bar shaped, and seemed to be blinking, or was far enough away that it looked to be blinking.

That morning, I remained on the phone with her, as I was seeing white orbs disappearing and reappearing in places off and on in the sky. I knew this was no ordinary occurrence, as nothing could change direction that fast, and nothing could explain the several different variations of sizes and colors. The last I seen before entering work was like a bar-shaped light, streaming downwards with blinking lights. All I know, is I was and am very aware of what I seen. I've seen strange things over the years, but this takes the cake. You always hear of stories like this of orbs and things in the night sky---but, being the one to see them close and in person---that is both extraordinary and unforgettable... and, frightening.

I had nightmares for weeks after that. I was afraid to leave home.

I believe we're not alone on this world, and there's living, concrete proof to that. It's seen everywhere on just about every day. It takes place around the world, and it continues to do so, even after centuries passed.

Three circular lights that were dim, and one single circular bright light.

There were four objects in total. Three of which appeared to be dim circles of white, and one singular circle that was bright. They were grouped together for a split second. The three dim objects split further, going all directions: NW, NE and S. The brighter circle individually went South. After the objects went in different directions, they were not longer to be seen. It appeared that the dim lights moved at a slower pace than the bright light did. The sky was thirty minutes past sunset. Although not completely dark, it was dark enough to notice. No sounds were heard.

There was a CME forecasted to hit earth that weekend so we drove up highway 79 North past Newell as we often have these last couple of years (2023-2024) to get a glimpse of the northern lights. We pulled over on the side of the road just outside of Castle Rock and waited.

It was early morning and we were just getting ready to head home disappointed when we noticed a bluish-white orb of light appear in the sky to the east. Initially we thought it was Venus; however, it moved up, then back down towards the ground and then up again. It suddenly expanded significantly into what appeared to be a gaseous material. It stayed this way for about a minute and then came back together. It was extremely dark and we were in the middle of nowhere, so it's difficult to say how far away it was, but a mile or so east of our location would be my best estimate.

We spend a lot of time outdoors at night looking at the sky and we've never seen anything like this in our lives. It was the first time I'd ever seen my spouse scared in the almost 12 years I've known him. It's one year and one month later and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

At 1025 pm I pulled into the Walmart parking lot on Louis Ave Sioux Falls, A large chevron shaped craft was moving at a very low altitude (100ft to 150ft) approximately 300ft in front of me.

The craft was flying slow probably about 30 mph just clearing the top of Walmart, the craft was about the size of a couple city buses and moved with zero noise, the skin of the craft seamed to be coated in a light absorbing material and appeared as a black chevron moving against the back lit sky with a sort of shimmer around the edges, the craft itself had no visible light what so ever it seamed to absorb light, if it were not for the city lit sky you would never see or hear it, because of the city lights it appeared as a chevron shaped hole in space.

As it crossed the store heading north it banked east presumably to avoid a air plane that just took off from the air port on the north side of the city, by time I parked my car to get a better look it had moved into a darker part of the sky and was no longer visible against the back drop of the night sky.

Large Boomerang shape UFO with no lights flew over our house

I was standing outside in our backyard waiting for my dog to go to the bathroom when a large boomerang shape UFO with no lights glided over our house. It was dark and the full moon was out so the sky was somewhat Lite. The object was grey in color and appeared to be smooth with no sound and no lights. It just glided over the house flying south. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and yelled for my husband but by the time he came out it was gone.

2 lines of green, constant lights

I went outside for a cigarette around 2005 and looked up at sky like I always do. I saw 2 lines of green lights moving fast across the sky from west to east. At first I thought it might have been a meteor with a tale but I saw it was dozens of individual lights, green & constant. Staggered in random groups from 1 to 3 in a row, then space, then another group. Both lines different in groupings and spacing, reminding me of piano player tape. The line of lights moved very fast & w/o sound. As the got farther east they began disappearing from the beginning of lines to end but all at one spot in sky. Seemed like they were entering a tunnel or turning off lights when reaching a certain spot. Sky was clear & lights were much brighter than stars in sky.

Bright orbs

Starting around 8:30pm on 9/15 and 9/16 multiple uap sightings that were sporadic in a 1-1.5 hour period. They start as orbs through the sky sometimes multiple moving together non blinking lights and we are in a rural area with not much air traffic. They are traveling at a high rate of speed but will fade out. What really baffles me on 9/15 there was a string of blue lights around 10+ that were traveling through the sky in an upward motion but sideways (completely different look than starlink) they were spaced far apart but consecutively following one another in a straight pattern. I went out the evening of 9/16 and witnessed the same thing with multiple orbs traveling through the sky around 5 individual ones and again saw a string of crafts traveling straight up in the sky coming from what looked like bottom traveling up one after another that lasted 5minutes. I don’t know what’s going on in our area lately but it’s incredibly exciting and if it continues happening I think this is worth investigating.

Watching sunset on computer shortly after cigar shape appears

I was watching the sunset on my computer of Spearfish S Dakota weather cam, shortly after sunset a cigar shape appears it was metallic and moved slowly from left to right on my screen. My husband and I watched until it got to the end of my screen. I was able to back up and watch again that's when I started to video and take pictures. There were no flashing lights like a plane would have, in fact no lights at all. This took place at 9:15 central standard time that's my time. I believe that Spearfish is an hour behind us.

We witnessed a string of low flying bright white lights 15-18 of them at low altitudes for 10-12 seconds moving from the west to east direction at 9:45 pm on a clear flawless night. Once they were in front of us just above tree top angle approximately 12-15000’ they all vanished on after another. These were not Starlink satellites. They were to low and they vanished like some type of cloaking device was activated. If they were satellites we could have watched them travel to the eastern sky.

We took pictures and a video of them but they did not record to the cell phone. No images appeared on the phone’s camera.

No sound was heard. No other aircraft in the area. Crafts we’re heading in the direction of Ellsworth Airforce Base outside do Rapid City SD.

Saw orangeish yellow light (not incredibly bright, but noticeable) moved from the west to east- about 2 Minutes later I saw another light, same color and brightness, go in the same direction. Silver spherical object quickly moving across early morning sky with no noise.

I am a 50-year-old married male. I am a professional tradesman for 25 years. As a boy I have always been fascinating by the sheer vastness of space and the possibilities of what space holds. I am always looking up towards the sky and recognizing quickly moving satellites or a brief glimpse of a shooting star and even staying up late to catch a meteor shower. I watch for the Aurora when forecasted in my area and even planet gaze when a celestial event occurs. Early one summer morning, about 4am, I awoke and decided to go outside and look up towards the sky to see if I would possibly see anything moving through the sky. I almost immediately noticed a silver-colored, spherical shaped object moving quickly from west to east, not making any noise. I went in and grabbed my phone to start recording. Like I said, the object made no noise and appeared to be about airplane cruising height. As I’m recording, I briefly lose sight of the object but am able to get a close-up later in the video. I have seen this object flying through the sky on a separate occasion and separate location being able to get video both times.

We saw round 3 lights moving through the sky above our area two of which performed movements an airplane could not.

About 9:30-9:40 pm, as I was looking south at the rising full moon in a clear night sky from my back porch, I saw a bright white light cross the sky, coming toward me from south to north; it passed over my home and continued north to slightly north-east. It was moving fast, steady, level, bright and silent, and was not as high as airplanes usually are. It was of the brightness of a car headlight, but not as large. I called my husband to come, but it was gone before he could see it. We went into the street to look for it. As we were, we both saw two more lights appear just under the star Arcturus, which was fairly high in the sky to the south-west. The first light was heading east and a second was following behind it from a short distance. Again, both lights were round, bright, steady without flashing, moving fast and silent. They were more like the surrounding stars in brightness, and further away and less bright than the first light that passed over our house, and they were travelling faster than the airplanes that I commonly see overhead. We are in the flightpath of airplanes from the Rapid City Regional Airport, and planes are common sights and sounds. We are also two blocks from our city's hospital and under the Life Flight helicopter's path. These were not airplanes or helicopters. The second light was appearing to catch up to the first when it suddenly took a fast 90 degree turn to the south. The turn was smooth and tight and the light did not slow down. As it was turning, the first light came to a stop and hung there for almost half a minute. It looked remarkably like one of the background stars as it did. Had it not been moving, I would have taken it for a star. The night, at that time, was crystal clear.

We soon lost the light that turned south into the distance, and the first light resumed its eastward course. We were able to keep eyes on it for almost half a minute before we lost it in the glare of the full moon. However, as it resumed its course, it seemed to slow and speed up a couple of times, as well as to swerve once, as though something were in its way. We saw nothing, but there was a definite change and then correction to its course. We went inside and my husband checked the flight path of the ISS. It was reported as being in Florida at this time.

I have seen these same kind of lights several times in this same part of the sky over the last few years, but this is the first time that someone has been with me as a witness. I am a night person and I love the night sky. I look at it often and am interested in the stars. I am not a UFO person, but a curious person as to what it is that I so often see. My husband mostly humors me, he would rather be inside watching tv, but last night he was disturbed by the two lights that he saw.

These lights have always been the same round, white, bright lights that don't change shape or size, that move quickly without sound and that don't flash. They resemble stars and when they are not moving, they are difficult to notice. During the last full lunar eclipse visible in my area, which I observed in it's entirety from my driveway, I also observed two of these lights. They were stationary on the southern horizon, and I was puzzling because I didn't recognize what stars they were, when they both began to accelerate straight up into the night sky. I watched them for a full minute as they crossed paths and disappeared. It is my opinion that they can remain unnoticed when they are stationary, and once they move, they are visible for such a short time that there is nothing to do but watch and be amazed. I personally look up, I keep an eye to the sky because I love the ever changing aspect of the sky both day and night. I always have, and so I see things most people don't simply because they don't pay attention. I think there is more to see that we are aware simply because we don't look. I am also an artist, and I look to everything with an artist's eye and because I want to see.

Because I look, almost 20 years ago, I had an opportunity to observe a round, front-lighted, metallic object about the size of a basketball cross low over the roof of my neighbor's house and continue west until I lost it. It could not have been more than 20-30 feet from me. It too moved steadily, on a level course, silent and unflashing. I don't talk to people about it because I am tired of being made fun of, but I think it was significant. It was not a drone. It had no visible propulsion or wings or tail. No intake or exhaust. It left no wake or trail. It was dead silent. I don't know what it was or why it would have been in a small neighborhood in Rapid City, South Dakota, but it was. I would talk about it to someone who didn't make fun of me, though I don't know what that would prove. It came and it went, there was no time to grab a camera, no time to draw attention to it, it passed with a sense of purpose and was gone. It did have to navigate it's way around several trees as I watched. I have no idea what such a thing could be. But had I not paused for a moment to look up, I would never have known it was there.

Our backgrounds. My husband is an honorably retired member of the USAF. He's not particularly imaginative and couldn't care less about things like UFOs. I am college educated, had my own graphic design studio, am an active artist of realism, not a sci fi fan, am interested in almost everything, and I am a Jehovah's Witness. My faith places a very high priority on honesty and most in it are very conservative. Few would even consider the possibility of such a thing as an UFO. For myself, I am simply a curious person interested in the beauty and complexity of this world who keeps her eyes constantly open. If anyone believes me enough to want to talk to me, that's fine. What we saw was not ground shaking, but real. The straight-traveling lights could be passed off as anything, but few things can stop and hang in the sky, or execute such a perfect 90 degree turn as they did last night. I do think, given the odds of seeing what we have seen, that there must be a lot more up there than we notice.

Sky was clear and blue so it stood out ...I looked up and seen a Bright white spot in the sky and we watched it for about an hour before getting the Binoculars out to look at it....We tried to take a pic of it but it just showed a white disk in a blue sky... looking through the Binoculars you could see it looked almost like a it had a dark lin across it and it was white in the center with pink on the top and green on the bottom...I think this was from the reflection on the sun on it...it never moved from the spot it was at in the sky so from 7:25 -10:45 it was still in the same place in the sky...I waited till the sun started to go down to see if the sun would move off of it and it did about 10:20 it stated to fade away and the sun was off of it and you couldn't see it with the naked eye so I looked back with the Binoculars and you could still see it but it was not white anymore....it was a Giant Round Ring and it was not in our atmosphere it was in space...there was a passenger plane flying under it and a star was to it 1:00 o'clock so it gave you a real perspective of just how far it was from the ground... I watched it for about 30 min. And was Just yelling you have to see this your are not going to belive want I'm looking at....so our of the 4 people that had been watching it only one looked back at it and could find it in the sky and see it as well.... it was mind blowing just how big this thing was and it looked like it had no lines on it just smooth and round just a giant ring setting there in space ....it was on an angle...so not looking at it straight on...Looked for it the next morning before daylight and it was gone….

Two sets of three lights traveling over our house

We were sitting on our back patio on a clear dark night. We saw three light blue lights that looked like a square with one corner missing moving toward and over our house. I would guess a speed of about 50MPH and a height of maybe 2,000 feet but those are just guesses. Moving approximately from south to the north.. There was no sound and no flashing lights like a plane. We thought that was very strange, but it got even more strange when another one just like the first one followed about 15 seconds behind the first one following the same path. It did not seem to be anything solid, just three lights in formation. The lights looked like a regular star except a little bigger and a little brighter. It was a very quiet night so if the formation had made any sound we would have heard it.

We saw multiple flying objects moving in a synchronized way back and forth, staying still, and moving at incredible speed out of sight.

This morning at about 11:20 AM, my daughters and I saw about 20 very large, low flying, shiny, white objects moving silently back and forth in a synchronized formation above us. My eldest daughter (13yr.) saw them first, for about 15 seconds, before she ran to tell me. They were flying in a completely unfamiliar fashion. The sky was clear and it was sunny, so we had a sharp view of them. The objects wove around each other, sometimes holding a position and hovering for a few seconds before rearranging. They also circled around and followed each other at a steady speed. After about two minutes they turned west and then north. I quickly grabbed my phone to take a picture and ran outside. Unfortunately, by the time I had my camera on, the objects had reached a much higher altitude and started to leave. They flew north so fast that we lost sight of them within seconds. I just caught them disappearing above our spruce trees. We can't tell if it was a trick of the light, but some appeared to be spheres, some ovals, and one may even have been disc-shaped. My youngest daughter (9 yr.) believes she saw some of the objects break off and head east, stop, and then vanish in the same direction. The event lasted for 3 minutes at the most. We regret not being able to capture images of the objects more closely and can only send the attached video and 4 photos. If you move the video slowly right in the beginning you can just make out the white objects right above the tree, disappearing in the distance.

Two stationery craft

We noticed two lights in the western sky from Brandon, so these may have been over the northern part of Sioux Falls. The two lights appeared to be coming from the bottom of two craft that looked to the naked eye like they were boomerang shaped, but zooming in on the camera image, the shapes appear to be more like crosses - very thick (height-wise) crosses that would be several times taller than one would expect a plane to be. We checked back on them several times over the course of about half an hour and they were not moving. I stepped outside to see if I could hear rotors, but could not. The last time we checked on them, they appeared further away, but were in the same position in the sky and relative to each other.

It was a grey round flying saucer. I was driving to work and it was glinting in the sun, fully encapsulated. I started to record this light through my peephole and I caught the light gradually changing I captured something a being of some sort.

I opened the door for my daughter who got off work at 300 am or so. She went to bed and this light was so bright coming through my entryway peephole. So bright I couldn't open door so I started to record it and it actually looked like the moon was too close. Finally I went outside and started filming. And what I saw has changed my life forever. I'm 42 studying criminal justice, no medication and I know I captured something. We have a new baby in our home. The image I feel like was mocking her. After this experience my stove light stayed on for weeks and an object is seen in one of my videos. I could never see it I noticed that my head movements are off. I would like to share the video of what I saw it's only 2 seconds but when analyzing it under a negative font view it looks like it was inserting something or about to insert something in a baby like alien. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed. I'm not too much afraid but I kind of am. It's a different feeling not so much as a spirit or ghost but in a sense similar. After I told my mom she told me China reported something but than they deleted it? I know it was the same day in June. A blue fierily cylinder shape object just flew across the sky. As it passed us, the object faded and turned into a ball and disappeared. But left a blue haze or aura in the line the object was going.

Pilot observed two spherical shaped objects flying in formation below aircraft

I am an FAA licensed private pilot. On June 26th, 2022 I was flying with my girlfriend from Sioux Falls, SD (KFSD) to Fargo, ND (KFAR). Roughly an hour and twenty minutes into the flight, I looked out the left side of the aircraft and observed two spherical shaped objects flying in formation below and to the left of my aircraft. The objects were either reflecting light or glowing white in color. At first I figured they were other aircraft, however we were only flying at 3,000ft MSL and the objects appeared roughly 500ft below us. At this altitude and in my experience aircraft and birds are easily distinguishable. I highly doubt that they were drones because I do not think I would have been able to see them, nor would I expect them to reflect light. As I continued to watch the objects they made a coordinated right hand turn (from the perspective of the objects) and soon disappeared from my sight. I made mention of these objects while I was watching them to my girlfriend, who claims she did not see them at first but did see them before they disappeared.

The time and location provided is an estimation, but in the general area.

As it grew larger, my phone camera couldn't quite capture the light being sent out

looked like a bright light behind a V shaped object

Looking S-SW at about 75 degrees up from the horizon. It was moving slowly to the east. The object appeared to be slightly smaller than the size of a full moon. It appeared to be a bright light behind a distinct V shaped object. A cloud started to form above the V. The cloud was lit up by the light emitting from the object. The cloud was moving away from the object, to the north, but it was also moving to the east at the same rate of speed as the object. The bright light and the V shape became dimmer as it moved to the east-south east, but there was a halo effect that was there until the last moments. The cloud dissipated at about the same rate.
I have watched the ISS fly by many times. This was much brighter. The distinct V shape that was visible early on was very interesting.
Could it have been the ISS?

Observrved 2 bright glowing craft steady in sky.

We took a drive on back roads this evening. Got back to the campground. about 9. There was a girls baseball game in a nearby field.Got out of the Jeep and Enoch ( husband) jokingly said, look, your UFO'S. well there they were. 2 of them. He thought maybe satellites or weather ballons. ( give me a break). But over a half hour they never moved. They were pretty far apart. Un moving. But lower than the clouds. They were big. We got out binoculars and watched them. They were sort of oval. They looked like if you took a long neon bulb and bent it like a balloon with ends touching in the middle like a tube balloon and tied the ends together. They had a dark line in the center running lengthwise. Very brilliant white. They never went in any direction . No other lights other than their brilliance. Clouds were moving. The moon was moving, but they remained still.Passenger jets flew (under) them lower and military above them, but the were unnoticed, except after a half hour started gettin smaller indicating they were going straight up away. They got farther away passing through the clouds as they went getting smaller and smaller until they dissapeared beyond the clouds. Guess who is a believer now. Gloria Hager.

We arrived at campground and getting out of the vehicle my husband said, look UFO's. He laughed because he knew I believed in them and he didn't. But they were fairly large, Under the clouds and were brilliant white with a long dark centers. They were not circular, but on the oval side. The closest one seemed to have a small shadowy section on the lower right end. They never moved from their positions during the whole time, but they slowly over the half hour grew smaller as they retreated farther away. Going above the clouds and out of sight.My husband is now a believer.

I then noticed a ball of light moving away from me through my front window. It was about half the diameter of the moon and appeared to be between 200 and 500ft above ground. It was also extremely bright. It accelerated directly into the distance, it appeared to cover several miles in a fraction of a second before dissappearing. It moved in a straight line and seemed to be accelerating. I had visual for only a few seconds.

Got out of bed about 6:45 am, sun was rising to my far left. First look out the window immediately spotted this very bright object left to crescent moon which was straight ahead. Didn’t seem to move at first. Not a plane, no green or red or orange light, bigger and brighter than plane. Not blinking. Got my husband and started looking through binoculars. It’s round, like a cluster of tiny diamond. Moving very slowly away from moon and me. Slow changes by intermittently forming a vacuole, usually one vacuole at a time, rarely 2, once 3. From some angles vacuole looked like a bite out of a cake and then filled up again. Occasionally i saw an axis on the round structure that moved from side to side. Looked with binoculars continuously from 6:50 until 7:30. It’s still there but further and brighter sunlight makes it barely visible with bare eyes.

I was leaving Hill City this morning while working, and just right outside of the town I saw a point in the sky. I watched it as I drove out, and it slowly started to disappear. I grew up near an airport and Ellsworth AFB, so I know what may sometimes seem odd, but then ends up being a plane. This was different. It held still until it faded out. I couldn't find any trace for the next ten minutes after seeing it.

I first saw this cigar shape fairly brightin the northern sky, there was glowing around it on two sides, like if it was shining light.

A bright cigar shaped light in the northern sky, it was moving directly overhead towards the South at a steady speed. It lit up what looked like clouds around it on two sides. Fairly close to it at first then the lighted up area around it seemed to spread the out wider as it went directly further South. I watched it fly directly overhead as it went South at a steady speed. I've seen satelites before and it was similar in its velocity. But satelites are high enough up that their reflected light does not light up any clouds or anything like that which are below it. The light on the sides was like a glowing light, and it spread out further as it went further South and out of view.. This is the strangest thing I've ever seen in the sky. The sky was not clear but partly cloudy I believe before sundown. I first saw this not too ling after sunset, but was pretty dark by then.

Silent black mass moved silently above residential home, appeared boomerang shaped but video suggests cigar/changing. Moved Southeast.

My observations:
1. This was near perfect ”black” almost matching the night sky. No mounted/visible lights other than moonlight reflection.
2. It looked boomerang shaped at first, but I had my back deck light on full blast, definitely interfering with my perception :/
3. It appeared to move silently. Though I had heard a typical plane/drone noise and helicopter noises from afar only seconds prior.
4. This didn’t trigger any internal reaction from me nor seemed to bother my dogs (they are playing in the video). Definite adrenaline rush though..!
5. The actual sighting lasted only about 30 seconds from when I first saw this to when I was only able to see from my phone’s screen/viewfinder.

6. NEW: Misc. lights (blinking AND solid lights) were seen before and after this sighting in the general Southeastern location. May prove irrelevant but felt necessary to include. Lights did not immediately appear to be official government vehicle, more likely drones or very distant vehicle.

Being mostly uneducated my first thought (besides ”UFO”) was something like a B52 Bomber? I will try to keep my eyes to the sky. I've included the original MOV as well as edited AND negative footage for reference.

I saw several crafts move both quickly and remain stationary.

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I witnessed something tonight that I never would have believed before. I live on the edge of the City, so it is very dark around my apartment complex. I went outside with my 2 dogs and was standing still looking at the sky because the stars were particularly beautiful tonight.

As I stood there watching, at first, I thought I had just witnessed 2 planes flying way to close to each other. I don’t live far from The Ellsworth Airforce Base, so I did consider that they may be practicing maneuvers as they often do. If I tell anyone else about this, I will just be told that it was planes from the base and to forget about it.

As I continued watching, one of the objects left the other very quickly and then turned it’s lights off. Because of the way the moon lit the sky tonight, I could still see its shadow (?), not sure how to describe it, but I could still see it. I then continued to walk my dogs and counted at least 7 more of the exact same objects in a circular formation, all standing still with the (main?) craft continuing to leave it’s lights on while also remaining stationary.

After walking my dogs, I went back inside of my apartment and immediately Googled “UFO’s Rapid City” hoping there were more reports of what I saw. As far as I know, they are still out there right now. I am really hoping someone else reported seeing the same thing so I don't sound like a crazy woman.

I noticed something in the air above my lead digger on the job line for approximately 10 minutes it started to get darker and moving around a little bit. Continued to do my job and what I was doing. Every time I spun around on my excavator i saw that it was still there. after a while i grabbed my camera and began to shoot video of it. I thought it was strange because it was in one spot for such a longtime that is why i grabbed my camera and began filming. It stayed there for 31 seconds and the boom of the lead excavator covered the object and then it was gone and there was a dark cloud in its place. Thank You for your time.

Very large oval ball the same color of the mixed gray and white clouds

It was raining off and on that day. It was very hot. I was on my way to Sturgis from Rapid City, via freeway to attend a patriot convention and concert. The time was early evening somewhere between 5-7pm. Headed westbound on the freeway straight ahead there were beautiful, dark green mountains and just slightly to the right of center of my vision if looking straight ahead while driving; I saw a huge globe of cloudy white move straight upward. It appeared it had come off of the ground and straight up into the clouds that were hanging kind of low due to the storms that were off and on. The color was the exact same color as the stormy clouds. They weren't black or dark gray. They were light gray and white. I knew that this large ball could sit right in the clouds just above all of us completely hidden. It disappeared as soon as it hit the clouds. This ball was so large that from the distance I was to it it seemed that if I were standing upon it it would be to me looking up at a hot air balloon. Big. I feel it was larger than a hot air balloon since I was so far
away. It wasn't exactly spherical and it wasn't exactly oval. It was both. Just a tad off. It had a very soft look to it. No rough edges and no lights. If it was exactly spherical then it could've been something malleable ( might be the wrong word for this) that as it lifted the force from doing so would pull it out of shape a little. Like pulling a water filled balloon and see it change shape and extend a little. It was horizontally oval. The curvature of the freeway took me to the mountainside then being on my left and I remember thinking that this was about where that thing lifted from the ground. I tried to look over at the green, beautiful mountains to see if I could see any kind of doorways into the ground or hidden in the mountain by chance. I looked to the right and saw a patrol officers cruiser lights on. They were pulled off to the right side of the road in a little half moon pull off area from the freeway. Another car was also there. Not sure of someone had broken down or was getting pulled over. I would like to know of there were any other reports. It was daylight. There is no way I am the only one that saw it. It was too big.

Fast approaching object turned into 3 green glowing bow shapes, then as it passed over the house light went out and it was metal object

I was watching the meteorite shower on 12/13/2020, I saw a pale white cotton ball like light moving nw to sw. a second later I saw a black oval inside a Doppler light effect. It got bigger and bigger as it came closer. Lasted about 5 seconds. When it stopped in a blink of an eye there was a green glowing object like a glow stick, of 3 bow shapes the front bow was around 300 feet wide. The other 2 bows faced backwards from the 1st. About 50 feet between the front and rear bow shapes. Connecting all 3 shapes was a pale green glow, like a fluid like membrane that you could see the stars through. As it flew over the house, about 300-500 feet high, the green light went out and a metal surface lit up by the lights in town appeared. Moving only a few miles an hour. No lights on it or windows. Then disappeared from view. Lasted 50 seconds in all. Never made a sound.

2 orange lights hovering slowly before flickering out west of Yankton/North of Gavins Point Dam

2 orange lights hovered very slowly and at a uniquely slow pace to the West of Yankton just North of Gavins Point Dam. One started to flicker off and on in a manner that a normal operating aircraft would not do. It was completely silent and had no noise of an engine. The first orange light eventually went dark as if it sputtered out. The other orange light continued to move to the west until it too flickered out. Even though I could no longer see the orange glow, I felt as if I could see the objects still moving as I could see them traveling in front of the stars in the night sky.

My significant other was in the lake without son playing and splashing around, when he asked me "what's that in the sky?"I ignored his question at first and the second time he asked me I said good on and I took my time setting stuff down and talking to our baby and after 10 close to fifteen minutes he finally got me to walk out towards him and he pointed to the north west direction and up in the sky was a black object that hovered in the same spot in the sky for I'm not sure maybe 30mns or longer we watched this thing twist and spiral it's long tentacles over and over like it if you was to see a squid or octopus swim in the ocean it was shaped more like a squid and it's tentacles moved almost constantly but the strange thing didn't change its position it stayed in the same spot in the sky as if it was watching something like a wild animal would waiting for that right moment to attack. It didn't attack anything of course not during the time we was a! t the lake any way. We observed this strange squid like creature that hovered high in the sky for sometime before I realized we had binoculars in the Tahoe which I had sent my significant other to get and to see what we saw through them binoculars is something I'm afraid I can only explain looked like a black squid like creature it had what seemed to be 6 eyes on the head and six tentacles that it moved around in a pattern like way twisting certain ones at certain times but it didn't move from it position while it moved the tentacles around. This thing was something you would see in a syfy movie two kids that swam 20ft away from us asked each other what it was one asked the other is that a demon? I was walking back to my home on my nightly walk. It is a full moon, so the sky was lit up very well. Is I peered to the left, something that looked like a shooting star shot up from behind a garage across the street. I have seen shooting stars, and this was not a shooting star. The figure was seen for about 5 seconds, and after that it was no longer visible. It was rather large, and had a radiant aura surrounding it.

"So-called" air traffic/thunder storm brings UFO to our skys.

The reason I started taking pictures because the sky sounded like the North and South fighting in the Revolutionary War directly above us. I thought it was the calm before a Hail Storm. It's common for me to hear air traffic, since I live an hour away from an Air Base, but I've been hearing jets, helicopters, thunder without rain... at all hours of the day and night. This evening was absolutely beautiful out, no wind, sun on your back type day behind me and this Ominous cloud above the hills in front of me. I snapped this photo. You can see a small circle of light that is different from the surrounding cloud cover. If you zoom in, you can see five individual lights flying in a close pattern.

I was driving southbound on I-29 about 10 miles south of Brookings at 1830 when I noticed stationary lights over and slightly to the right of my lane, approximately ¼ mile in front of me. As I approached them, I leaned and looked up at them out the top of the windshield, and I could see the silhouette of the object against the sky. Appeared to be a triangle, with green, red and white navigation lights at each point of the triangle, and I'm guessing 10 to 15 feet across, and an elevation of ~300 feet. No noise could be heard over the engine noise of my truck. Temperature was –5F. I could relate this to a large drone, but awfully weird to see someone flying one for the fun of it in subzero temps at twilight. I do have a short video of the object, albeit not very good.

Line of evenly spaced white, star-like lights moving in night sky from west to east and disappearing overhead.

I was out walking our dog tonight on Christmas Eve. I wanted to see Venus before it disappeared over the horizon. It was beautiful, and very bright, as it has been the past few weeks. I could also see Orion's belt in the north. It seemed that there were more stars in the sky than usual, but it was particularly clear. As I turned back towards the house I was amazed to see an entire line of evenly spaced, white, not particularly bright, lights moving roughly west to east in the night sky. They were like little stars. I tried to count them, and estimate there were about 15-20 in all. The moved slowly, but were perfectly spaced. They seemed to disappear as they approached overhead, as I could not see their formation after that point. They made no sound. I tried to video them with my phone, but they did not show up. I ran to get my husband, who saw them, and my son, who didn't stay out long enough to see them (it was cold and he didn't have shoes to walk in th! e snow). My daughter, who just arrived home, saw them as she drove through the neighborhood on her way home. I noticed off to the northeast what appeared to be a red light flying around, and suspected it was a drone. We live near Ellsworth AFB, and drones are frequently seen at night. These lights may have been drones, also, but their formation, perfect alignment, color, brightness, and the fact that they seemed to disappear, would make them much different drones that what we are used to seeing around here.

On the above date and time I was outside burning trash. I got inside my car and started it to warm up as it was cold outside. I live in the country about 4 miles from town. I stepped outside my car to smoke. I looked up and noticed at least 30 lights about the brightness of a a satellite all moving in a straight line heading in a northeast direction, more east than north. Each light was single equal distance apart from each other about 6 inches long at arms length moving single file in a straight line. I thought I was looking at something burning up in our atmosphere but each light was a single point of light with no trail behind it. Then each light got bright like an iridium flare then went back to normal. Each light was a single point of light. They each got bright for a few seconds dimmed and kept moving in a straight line. After observing for about 15 seconds they all went dim with the last light lighting up bright like an iridium flare and all of them going dark. My neighbors cows all started mooing loudly during this event. Night sky was clear, cold, no wind.

2 lights appear one over the other, both ascend, slowly disappear. Saw 1 light same area last 3 nights.

The past 3 nights I've seen a single star-shaped light appear, then fade out. I am familiar with stars and often watch the sky. This star-like light seen three consecutive nights. Low and behold, tonight, in the same spot, as I go out to smoke my pipe, there are 2 lights that appear, one above the other. Both rise slowly, then disappear.

Moments later, I saw 4 or five lights in formation flying in that general area, these were flashing. I watched and several lights just disappeared, but one did a circle and flew back from direction it came from. I also heard a jet engine. I wonder if jets were sent to investigate? Why did several 'jets' disappear?

Also, I took motorcycle ride yesterday to Alzada Montana then to Hulett, Wy,...I saw two different military-style 'outposts with people inside fenced areas. The second one (100 x 100 feet fenced?) had a amtrak like vehicle with a gun turret? I hear jets flying overhead now 22:12.

On a warm May 14th night in 2019, I received a box in the mail containing new swings for the swing set, and went out to the backyard with my 10-year-old to put them up. I put up one link when I noticed an unusually bright light in the sky NW 20 degrees that I assumed must be the sun reflecting on an aircraft coming in. After 10 minutes of not moving, it grabbed my attention. It was about 2 or 3X as bright as Venus but in the NW. I was disrupted enough to pull my oldest boy off the Xbox and my wife to see the disturbance.

My son was unimpressed, and my wife didn’t care for anything potentially out of the norm. I went back in and I grabbed my binoculars to see it better but it only made the light slightly bigger and shakier. I went back to the swing set with only one link attached so far, reaching to attach the second link I looked up noticed a second reflective object floating in the sky about 40 degrees NW and a little higher where I normally would not se! e anything. It was twice as bright as the first one. I brought the wife and kids out to see this one too. The wife went to bed and the boys back to their Xbox's as I watched both of these stationary reflective objects as they dimmed away and turned from bright white to red then dark red. Later, as the bats and stars came out at 9:15pm, they faded to nothing.

I returned to the backyard the next day earlier this time and to observe the skies to find nothing. Skies were as usual.

Analysis: I observed these two objects from 8pm to 9:20pm in Brandon, SD on 05/14/19. The first object was noticeable at about 8pm and about as bright as 2X Venus NW 40 Degrees. At circa 8:15 the second object came into view and was about 3X as bright as Venus and NW70 Degrees and higher of the horizon. The moon was about half and rising at about 135 Degrees. I called my Dad in northern ND and he could see the moon but not the reflective objects.

The objects didn’t move that I could tell and didn’t blink. They were bright and faded red as the sun set. I have lived in this house for 8 years and this was certainly a new experience. I have the planets app on my phone and during this time there were no planets in the area. I consider myself above average for astronomical activity and can usually point out planets and constellations.

Right now, I don’t know what this was. After searching the internet, I have only three guesses.

1. This was some sort of government stationary (90 Min+) Satellite in the north. Although, a quick internet search says that those are above the equator.

2. It was maybe Jesus and Joseph Smith both just checking on us? Hard to say.

3. It could also just be a glitch.

I don’t know. If anyone with more Astronomical experience could tell me what I saw I would like to hear back.

It is a nice fairly calm night with some puffy cloud in the sky as the sun was setting. I was in the back yard and noticed an object which I assumed was a plane in the distance, but that the setting sun was reflecting off of it brightly. It was visible over the house at NE about 40 degrees. I put the house in my line of vision to see if it would move and it did not and if so very slightly as the moon moves. I showed my wife and kids and got the binoculars which just made it a larger reflected ball. A few minutes later then there where two but the second one was NW about 70 degrees and much brighter. The first on was about twice as bright as Venus. The second once about three times the brightness of Venus. I used my space app and ruled out planets. As the sun set the bright reflection dimmed and they turned red until finally I could not see them any longer and they were stars out but they had faded away with the sunset. Unusual floating objects.

Saw an object approach from the southeast and bank/turn to the north. Object appeared to be a few hundred feet off the ground and was moving at a medium pace.

Originally, I counted seventeen orange orbs that appeared to drift up from the southeast. From where I stood, it looked like these things climbed up into the night sky, way off to the south, towards Custer State Park. I watched as they drifted toward Keystone, and then angled somewhat toward the northwest, toward the Black Hills. Only, the second time I counted, there were twenty of them. Very bright round object above the moon that did not move for 3 hours or more in Deadwood, South Dakota.

There was a round flat surfaced object that appeared at about 80 degrees above the horizon, it seemed to mirror the sun and clouds, super reflective, which at times looked like a full moon yet the moon was below on the horizon in a waxing crescent.

Others watching thought it looked like a ringed object with an opening in the center. The outside edge of the object was very bright and looked as if there were lights that encircled it. People around stated that they had seen it from other locations in the the area from as early as 14:00 hours and it remained there, in the same spot until after the sunset.

It was early morning as the sun was coming up.

I was coming down HWY34, from the Buffalo Chip, heading back towards town. As I was coming down this hill, the sunrise was behind me, and it lit the clouds up that were in front of me. They were dark and heavy clouds, but the sunrise made them orange, yellow, red, and purple. It was a pleasant sight, and I was watching them in awe as I was driving. Then something caught my eye. Now these clouds were very far away but this object was very visible. In those clouds sat this bullet shaped object and it was absolutely still. It didn’t sway, it wasn’t hovering, but still. It was chrome colored and I remember thinking how it was so perfect looking and that’s what made it so out of place. There were no lights on it so could not have been a plane, or a helicopter, not a drone or a weather balloon. Even all the clouds around it just sat perfectly still.

As the sun came up, light started to shine and reflect across it. It’s like as soon as that happened, it’s like it noticed me watching it. In the fastest, and smoothest manner I’ve ever seen anything move, it zipped off in the southwest direction. It was so fast that I saw it for a split second then it was gone. Like turning off a light. Now I knew it didn’t go into the clouds because I could still see the light shine across it as it moved, but it moved so fast that it was out of sight. Like moving a sparkler really fast back and forth, that’s how the light reflected on it as it moved. Like it stretched but there weren’t any streaks, or anything left behind it.

Now this happened when I was a senior in high school, so it was the fall of 2018 before it got cold or snowed.

I never told anyone about this until about a year or so ago. It was my mom and sister who I told and I described it to them in great detail but they didn’t seem too interested in it. You don’t really hear about aliens or UFOs in South Dakota. That stuff was only ever talked about in movies or by those people on the History Channel. So, I figured if I ever told anyone what I saw they probably wouldn’t have believed me or show the same amount of interest as my sister and mom.

The tear drop shape was very brilliant white and was reflecting the sun almost to a painful silver light- it had a glowing point that was blue and red- it remained stationary and did not move. We verified through our telescope that it was not an airplane, weather balloon, hot air balloon or satellite. The craft remained in the same place for almost 2 hours as the other stars that became visible moved around the sky. The craft was in the atmosphere as it changed color while the sun set. My husband used his star finder on his phone and it was NOT a star or a planet and was no where near the nearest star on the chart.

Circle craft very high in the sky changing color.

Saw a craft very high in the sky that was white at first and then turned red. It wasn't a jet or flight because it traveled vertically. Also, it left behind no trails when moving like smoke.
