Crash Landing UAP nearly hits Columbia river before flashing and disappearing

I was driving west bound on I84 around 4:30am, by this time it was already pretty light outside.

Suddenly and centered in my line of vision was what appeared to be a comet or aircraft rushing directly towards the Columbia river about to crash. It was not glowing as if on fire from breaking through the atmosphere or smoking as if a small aircraft was malfunctioning. It was as if a contrail was heading straight for land with no aircraft leading the way.

I began to panic because this falling object was moving very fast and close enough to affect me if causing an aftershock upon arrival. When suddenly the contrail cleared, there was a UAP heading straight for the river. The aircraft looked like a combination of a small military jet and an arrowhead spear, without any divots or bulges. The oddest part about its appearance was that it was glowing bright green and purple in its entirety.

As it rapidly approached the river (maybe about 40ft above water) the UAP flashed and disappeared with a short and quiet boom.

The unit appeared out of nowhere in the middle of my windshield and then disappeared in a flash before hitting the water. This all happened within about 30 seconds.

Small bobbing light

I thought it was a star at first. Then a satellite.

Right before the sun started lightening the sky and morning birds started waking. Looking north i noticed it moving south. Kind of bobbing in a way that it went forward but rounded back slightly to bound forward again. Like a two step forward 1 step back but in a roundabout almost smooth/fluid motion. Like it was drunk.

No sound. It was almost above me, after a couple of minutes (it moved pretty slow) before it banked a 90 degree turn towards the east. Kept up the same slow gait.

Right before it was gone a minute or two later after its turn it flashed a bright blue and flashed white between blue and the white a couple of times before it was gone. Like a flare where it phwoofed bright blue (no sound just that quick flare/dimming that is characteristic to a flare or roman candle), phwoofed to white, back and forth no more than twice each color and was gone after the brightest white flash.

Guessing several hundred feet above. Didn't seem too large.

The glow of it stayed constant redish-orange the majority of watching but flickered slightly almost like a candle flame. Like an ember. It dulled a bit when it would backtrack slightly but brighten again as it moved forward.

Appeared and left so fast, captured in photo

I walked away from our group to take a few pictures of the city below us and the sky. It was a very clear night sky at that time. While taking a photograph of the moon with my phone a bright flash appeared in my eyeball view as I was looking at the sky, looking like it was coming toward me from the west, stopped momentarily and moved away from me and disappeared so quickly it took me a bit to comprehend.

I believe it is captured in a photograph but I didn’t report it right away because I thought people might think it is a photo flare from my phone, but I am certain the photo is capturing the bright light I saw, although to my eyeball it looked very bright white with an aura around it and in the photograph it looks green. We had a dog with us and his behavior changed after the sighting. He spent the next 40 minutes looking out past the fire, on alert.

Two lights completely in sync flying horizontal together in a wave pattern

Clear sky night and was getting some air, saw a drone to the south (we started seeing drones in my area two months ago and not stopped). So was watching the drone and out of the east flying west I saw two extremely fast flying lights (blue white) brighter than a star, flying very close together and in exact perfect sync or mirror of each other. Flying horizontal but in a wave pattern (slight) up down up down, and they again were in perfect unison, it was so fast I didn’t even have time to get my phone out.

Bright fast moving light, traveling from west to east

I was in my backyard and noticed a very bright object in the sky. It was as bright as Juniper (which was in the western sky at the time). It seemed to be flying at airplane level, but was much brighter and completely silent. It was moving very fast, headed east from the west. It seemed to be much brighter and much lower than a satellite.

I saw four white orbs in the sky moving in perfect synchronization. They grouped together in a specific spot, then dispersed and group.

On April 5th, 2025, between approximately 8:30 PM and 9:55 PM, I observed four faint white orbs in the sky above T Street, Springfield, Oregon. The orbs were moving in perfect sync, grouping together and dispersing in various directions (N, S, E, W). They appeared to move smoothly and efficiently, pausing briefly before resuming their coordinated movements. The lights were not overly bright, and the sky was mostly cloudy, but the orbs were still visible. Several people, including my family members and a friend from a nearby street, also witnessed the event. The orbs moved in smooth patterns, at times forming shapes like squares, circles, or rectangles, before dispersing and starting the pattern again. There was no sound associated with the orbs, and they remained visible for about 90 minutes, becoming less noticeable as the sky cleared.

I tend to watch the skies when taking our dog out, didn't recognize the star in the cup of Big Dipper. I thought it could be the ISS catching the light of the sun but it would have drifted at least a bit in the 7 minutes I had been watching it.

Bright green ball of light. Appeared suddenly above tree line. Rapidly shot straight down and disappeared out of sight.

We were driving home from the airport and turned onto NE Wells Acres off of NE Butler Market Rd. I’d put the time at ~10:52 PM.

Passenger and I both saw a bright green orb / ball of light suddenly appear above the trees in front of us. It was hard to judge how far away it was and how big the object was, but I would estimate about 75-100 yards away, 12-18 inch in diameter. There was a glow of light surrounding the object. Like I had an astigmatism (I do not have astigmatism). I wouldn’t say this was an object with lights. It seemingly was a light.

We both leaned forward in our seats when it appeared in front of us. It was over the houses / trees on the right side of the road. Nearly as soon as it appeared, it shot straight down behind the trees extremely fast. It seemed to leave some green light streak behind it. It didn’t come from very high up, but seemingly turned “on” above the trees. There was no sound, but our windows were rolled up.

We were shocked, and continued to drive towards the area (in the direction of NE 27th st) but couldn’t find anything nearby to explain it. Nobody was outside, and all of the nearby houses were dark.

It was an incredibly clear night, the stars were shining.

I can’t explain what it was, and it was strange enough for me to start researching this and post here. While I do believe in things I can’t explain, I haven’t seen anything compelling enough to actually report it like I am now.

Palette size object hovering in the sky no sound with multiple green/blue alternating in sky

On March 18, 2025 between 6th and Tyler and 5th alley I walked out of a friends apartment heading north to my car on the right side just before 5th alley. Looked directly above and saw a palette sized rectangle object hovering in place with no sound and multiple rows of alternating green and blue lights can be seen underneath. Very out of place in the sky. I can’t judge the height only that it was well above the power lines that ran across. Watched it for like 2 minutes hovering with the lights alternating. Went to reach for my phone and realized it was still in the apartment. Ran up to go get it and by the time I got back it was gone and cloud coverage was visible, but no lights and no indication as to where it went. Thought it could be a Eugene police drone, but doing my research it would seem unlikely due to size of object and no sound coming of it.

Orange sphere rising then proceeded horizontal across the sky

Bright orange sphere rising up from horizon. Solid illumination, not flickering. It was cold, no atmospheric distortion. Then moved horizontally to the north over my head, never change luminosity or color. I could not discern any shape through all the changes in position and my perspective/location. Lost sight behind a cloud, so altitude was high than cloud cover. Absolutely silent. I watch the stars every night while smoking a cigarette. I know all the planes, helicopters, satellites, and meteorites by now and it was nothing like any of them. I was thinking at first it was a flare or Chinese lantern, but it did not match either of those in any way. I’ve seen those plenty and was not a match. It was not traveling with the wind or cloud movement direction. I waited and looked for 3-5 minutes and heard no sounds or other objects.

Heard a rumbling engine went out to see a saucer type aircraft that had two blinking red lights and a yellow light

It sounds like a very deep growling engine. Loud enough to get me out of my shop. Fly by 100 yards off the coast Parrell to beach going south later flew from behind me out into ocean going NW but faster no sound

Three nights in a row, but different each night. Night of January the 24th on the deck of rented oceanfront condo facing the Pacific Coast. I expressed to the Universe that I was open to open contact from a distance. Saw a shooting star or space debris. Woke up on January 25th to a three-dot triangle bruise on the underside of my bicep of left arm (have photo). Then that night I was talking to the Universe about open contact and then I started to talk about how beautiful earth was and different places and different weather and the beauty in them all. Then in the fog looking south on the coastline I get a close amazing flyby 100 yards off the coast Parrell to beach going south bound. I believe it was two crafts diamond shape with flat black and gray/silver. Not a sound from those crafts, it was amazing and powerful. Then 25 minutes later from behind the condo, my back side. Two diamond shaped crafts flying super-fast and higher up, out into the ocean headed NW. I thanked them for showing me. January 26th nighttime out on the deck talking to the Universe to give me a sign if they can hear me or see me and there was a twinkle in the SW sky over the ocean. My husband came out on the deck, I asked if he my husband was open to open contact from afar and he said yes. So, I asked the Universe if they can show themselves to my husband and told them he was open to open contact. My husband and I started telling them our favorite places we love here on Earth and how beautiful it is down here. And like 30 minutes goes by and I see them from the south headed north up the coastline, higher up and for a longer period of time. I said at least five time "there it is" and my husband tried to see them, and he was too slow and did not see them at all. I can't believe it. Way cool.

Bright white orb turned into another craft

Thought we saw a bright planet in the SW sky but realized it was way too bright so figured it was just a plane. Soon realized it was just hovering at maybe 2000 feet. Pulled the car over and my daughter was like that must be a drone. I was like it has no vehicle shape whatsoever. Looks just like a ball of energy. Suddenly animals from as far away as I could hear in the valley below starting freaking out and howling and barking and chirping . Then suddenly the ball started to slowly dim and my daughter said it’s going something and then boom it was instantly some sort of craft about the size of a small commercial plane. It had about 5 blinking lights that I could count. Mostly red and I think one yellow or white. It just slowly went north towards Hillsboro airport like a slow patrol. I have crappy video of it leaving and the animals freaking out but not the moment it switched

Saw 4 reddish orange orbs that caught my eye from my kitchen window, slightly larger than a bright star. Lights dropping from same location, one after the other, in formation

I observered flashing tiny white lights dropping one after the other, with enough distance apart that I could see 3 at a time, before the lowest went out of my line of view over the neighbors house. They were dropping almost straight down, but not quite. The lowest ones at times would pause before continuing. Pretty close to the same distance apart, but not close enough to be attached. It was going on when I came out to smoke, and continued the whole time I was out there. When the bottom one disappeared out of my view, another would appear from behind a cloud I'm assuming at the top.a I must have see over 20 while I was out there, so unless it's a very large airport, then they weren't planes landing in the same location. It was dark outside, so I couldn't make out if they were appearing from behind a cloud. They were dropping with same timing and space in-between.

Fast random patterns mile above mountain ridge for 4 nights starting on 1-21-25 and continuing every morning till daylight.

A shape that looked like a star started moving left, right, up, down, odd angles and quick speeds about one mile above a mountain ridge. 4th day of every morning at about 3:00am for several hours. My husband and I both saw it and reported it to the police with no real response. Never have either of us seen anything like this and there has been several sighted in the same area at the same time.

I counted thirty objects appear out of the west and maintained a heading traveling north

I was emptying a garbage can into the garbage truck when I spotted a glittery green object passing overhead to the East and to the right of the green object, about five hand widths side by side, was a bright white spherical object maintaining same speed as the green object. I then noticed another object appear in the western sky to my left as I faced west, then another appears in the western sky but on my right as I faced west. The objects continued to appear out of the west one at a time alternating, one more southerly and the next more northernly entrance of my view. As I watched one object come into my view at a different angle and another object flew near it and it changed course and they continued to head East. I witnessed a total of thirty objects appear out of the West and fly East. The first object was emerald green and was slightly larger than the rest. The second object was round or circular and a bright white, this was smaller than the first object. The next twenty-eight objects was also green in color and smaller in appearance. This event was approximately three to four minutes in duration.

Phone interview date/time: 02-14-2025 at 1:36pm PST

M stated that on 1-20-2025 at approximately 6:20am, he was out on his route collecting garbage for the city of Coos Bay, Oregon. M stated that there were some clouds in the sky, but it was "90% clear." M then stated that he is a seasoned International Space Station observer, so he is always looking up in the sky. M stated that on this particular morning, he was in a Coos Bay neighborhood that was higher in elevation than normal and saw a total of 30 objects in the sky above him.

M stated that he first saw an "emerald green" flying object in the shape of an almond, and following that object was a "chrome ball" that was perfectly round. M then stated that both objects were flying next to each other and were traveling west to north and came from over the ocean. M stated that he was unable to estimate the size of either flying object because they were flying at approximately 30,000 feet or approximately the same altitude as a commercial airplane.

M stated that after the first two objects flew over him, he then saw 28 more flying objects coming from over the ocean. M then stated that all 28 of the "orbs" were emerald green and appeared to be "rice shaped." M stated that the 28 orbs were smaller than the first two flying objects, and made a "strange motion." When I asked M to define the "strange motion," he stated that it appeared that the orbs were dropping out of something that was possibly hiding in the clouds above the ocean.

M stated that all 28 of the orbs appeared to be "sparkling" from end to end, and they also made no noise. M then stated that all 30 of the flying objects appeared to be flying the same speed as the International Space Station based on his experience observing the space station. M stated that this incident took approximately 4 minutes from beginning to end.

M stated that he wanted to report some other sightings he had prior to this sighting. M stated that on 1-12-2025, he observed the International Space Station in the evening sky and he observed a "super bright dot" following the space station. He then stated that the "dot" continued to follow the space station until both were out of sight.

M stated that on 1-27-2025, he observed "3 white and gold orbs" flying roughly in the same area and altitude as his 1-20-2025 incident. M then stated that the "orbs" made no sound and were flying west to north.

M then stated that in 2005, he was out on his porch and observed 3 large aircraft flying silently east to west approximately 1000' in the air. M stated that the first aircraft looked like a "stretched out diamond" and the color looked like "black moving liquid" that "stunned his senses." M stated that there were 4 gold lights underneath the aircraft, and that each corner of the aircraft had a light. He then stated that the aircraft was approximately 200 feet long and 40' to 50' wide, and the 4 edges appeared to be "rigid." M stated that the first aircraft appeared to be "slowly gliding across the sky" but covered a lot of distance very quickly. M stated that the aircraft almost seemed like it was traveling "in and out of time."

M stated that the other 2 aircraft were in a "V" shape and he could see in-between the wings as they flew over. M then stated that he could see "louvers, vents, and 3 rectangular windows" on each of the 2 aircraft. M stated that he saw all 3 aircraft fly out over the ocean until he couldn't see them anymore. M stated that he called the local airport to see if they had any reports about the 3 aircraft he just observed. M stated that the airport representative stated that they didn't have radar.

Conclusion

I checked FlightRadar24 and couldn't find any of M's sightings. I also looked into Starlink trains and swarms, but could not find anything regarding M's 1-20-2025 sighting. The 1-20-2025 sighting has Starlink similarities, but no solid proof that it was an actual Starlink sighting. M did state that he was aware of what a Starlink train looked like. I would categorize this as an anomalous sighting.

I checked on M's 1-12-2025 "super bright dot" following the International Space Station sighting. The 2 USAF officers I spoke to separately both stated the same thing. They believed that the "bright dot" was possibly a satellite. I would categorize this as a satellite.

I checked FlightRadar24 on M's 1-27-2025 sighting, and didn't find anything. I would categorize this as an anomalous sighting.

I was unable to check FlightRadar24 for M's 2005 sighting because FlightRadar24 didn't go back that far. I have added M's information to my "black flying triangle" files and will continue my investigations into those types of sightings. As for now, it was an anomalous sighting.

Drone and a darting color changing orb.

Around 6:00 PM, my grandfather and I observed a drone circling a roughly 5-mile radius around our property and the neighbors’ land. About an hour and fifteen minutes later, I stepped outside with my dog to smoke a cigarette and noticed that the drone was still in the area, now moving counterclockwise compared to its earlier pattern. Using my flashlight, I directed its beam at the drone, employing the strobe setting and manually flashing it on and off for about 30 seconds to a minute. Shortly after, the drone moved out of sight, disappearing behind some trees.

Roughly five minutes later, I began scanning the sky to see if the drone would return. That’s when I noticed what appeared to be a flashing, color-changing orb. I attempted to flash it a few times with my flashlight before retrieving my phone to capture photos and videos. The orb then began moving erratically, darting in various directions. Not long after, I spotted a different object following the same counterclockwise path the drone had previously taken. Unlike the drone, this object had all its lights off except for a single light that flashed every few seconds. I've attached the videos I captured that night; however, I only began recording after noticing the color-changing orb.

Round black object went across sky, as high as a plane and as fast but without sound

I was walking to the end of my driveway with someone who came to get some home furnishings I was giving away, when a round black object high up in the sky, about where a helicopter or small Cessna may fly, but not as high as a jetliner. It moved across the sky very fast, but had no sound. I filmed it, but since it was so conspicuous, assumed it was some type of weather balloon.

My home is at the base of Rocky Butte (an extinct volcano) and a ten minute drive from the airport. Though we aren’t in the flight path, there is a lot of fighter jet activity from the Air Force base nearby. The fighter jets are very, very loud when they practice around the mountain.

This is the second strange thing I’ve seen in the sky from my house. Another was many years ago, after I bought my house. I was lying on a chaise lounge by the pool and looking up at the sky when a white oblong object was moving very fast towards a small cloud, as high up as a jetliner, but never exited in any direction…as if it went up…or disappeared.

There is an air force base, and Boeing is in WA. No idea what these things are but the black object was very easy to see on a hazy day, passing by for maybe a minute. The white object was mere seconds. Had I blocked, I would have missed it.

I’ve had some flying lessons but am definitely not an aviation expert. The black object seen yesterday was below the clouds and moved in a straight line. The white from years ago object was very high, above clouds, and changed direction.

UAP Over Gillespie Butte Park Eugene Oregon 01/10/2025 9:02pm

I am a 40m Military Vet and I currently work for the Department of Labor here in Eugene. I have some adrenaline left, and mainly shock, so I apologize for the quality of my writing. Trying to get it out while its fresh.

I was sitting in my home office tonight; I live at the bottom of Spyglass off Cal Young Road. I started to hear an owl, hooting insanely loud. The loudest I have ever heard to be honest and I grew up here. I decided to grab my phone and go outside to record the owl hooting because it was incredible, and I thought my partner might find it interesting when she woke up tomorrow.

I was standing on my balcony and looked to the west and saw 4 really bright amber colored lights in a perfectly straight horizontal line. At first I thought it might be night construction on HWY105 and kept waiting for the owl. Then it dawned on me that I should be looking at Gillespie Butte Park in that direction, maybe it's night construction on the butte? Then it dawned on me that the lights were way above ground level, and higher than the butte.

Then the lights started to move, in a really strange way. So I started recording. I used an iPhone SE 2nd edition which is my social media pocket phone, only using it for useless things. Not the best I know. What I saw first hand and what's in the video is a little different, it's pretty dark and my phone has terrible night filming. This is what I saw, I do not have an explanation but I am a trained observer from the military and I can tell you this was not commercial drones, no FAA lights, no helicopter and no planes and no sound.

The naked eye: The lights look like ping pong balls, bright white and maybe the size of a large beach ball you would throw around a festival or concert, 4-6 ft in diameter. They had a red glow around them that faded the farther it got out, like a haze. There were 4 of them, and they started as a horizontal static hovering group of lights, almost like you wouldn't notice them in the skyline if they didn’t move. They were of equal distance apart from one another, I would estimate 20 feet between each orb. They made no noise whatsoever and moved and maneuvered with precision and accuracy. I thought it might be possible they were some kind of elaborate drone show but they had no FAA lights at all, still a possibility but illegal for sure. Smarter people than me might find an explanation in that argument.

I started filming as they broke into 2 pairs and began orbiting each other at a constant pace, almost like a yin and yang symbol, one chasing the other but two pairs. The farthest left in the video, which is south, were rotating counterclockwise, and the pair on the right of the video, north, were spinning clockwise. They then would all group up together in the center and begin rapidly rotating with one another to create this larger glowing sphere, but it wasn't as solid of a sphere as the individual orbs. It was lumpy, hard to explain, like oatmeal in a plastic bag. Then they would split back into the two groups of counter rotating pairs. Then group together. Then the large orb breaks into a horizontal line of 4 that begins to rotate like a stick floating on water in a counterclockwise position before breaking up into pairs. It bounces back and forth after that between large orb and orbiting pairs, each time speeding up and the larger orb getting bigger. Eventually it just starts making this massive orb that is mostly red at this point and I cannot see with my naked eyes any white ping pong balls anymore. It then expands about 10x its size and takes off vertically while fading from a massive glowing ball into a dark brown then black sphere.

Investigator Kieth Bickford interviewed the witness (R) on 01-22-2025 at 1:40pm PST and provided this report:

R stated that on 1-10-2025 at approximately 9:02pm PST, he was sitting in his home office and heard an owl hooting "insanely loud." R stated that he has lived in Eugene all his life and had never heard an owl hoot that loudly, so he went outside to check it out. R stated that when he was outside, he observed 4 very bright amber colored lights in a horizontal line to the west of his residence.

R stated that at first he thought the lights were from night construction on a highway near him, but then he realized that he was looking towards Gillespie Butte Park and not the highway. R then stated that the lights appeared to be above the butte which is approximately 500 feet tall. R stated that the lights started to move in "really strange ways" so he started recording the sighting on his cell phone. R stated that he was approximately 900 feet from the lights by ground, and the lights were approximately 1200 feet in the air.

R first explained the sighting with what he called the "naked eye." He stated that the lights looked like "ping pong balls" that were now bright white. R then stated that he estimated that the balls of light were approximately 4 to 6 feet in diameter, or the size of a regular beach ball. R stated that the balls of light had a "red glow" around them, but when they moved further away, the red glow looked more like a "haze."

R stated that the balls of light started as a "horizontal static hovering group of lights," and seemed to be equal distance from each other, which he estimated as 20 feet. R stated that the balls of light made no noise, and they moved and maneuvered with "precision and accuracy." R then stated that based on his military training and experience, the balls of light were not helicopters or airplanes. He did state that he might have been watching an elaborate drone show, but there were no FAA lights that he could see.

R stated that he started filming when the balls of light broke into 2 pairs, and began orbiting or chasing each other at a constant pace. He stated that it looked very similar to a Yin/Yang symbol. R stated that the 2 balls of light on the left were rotating counterclockwise, and the 2 balls of light on the right were rotating clockwise. R stated that the 2 sets came together and formed a "large glowing lumpy sphere."

R stated that the large sphere split back into 2 groups again, came together to form another large sphere, then broke into a horizontal line of 4 balls of light that rotated like a "stick floating in the water." R stated that after the horizontal line, the balls of light bounced back and forth several times from 2 pairs to a large sphere. He then stated that each time this happened, the balls of light would spin faster, and the sphere would grow larger.

R stated that eventually the balls of light made a "massive red orb," and he couldn't see the ping pong balls anymore. R then stated that the large red orb expanded to approximately 10 times its original size, took off vertically, then faded to a black sphere. R stated that all of this took approximately 2.5 minutes.

R stated that he is a highly trained military observer and in his 8 years of military service, he has never seen anything like what he saw on 1-10-2025. He also stated that he didn't want any fame or money, just possibly an answer to what he had seen and recorded. R put his original recording onto Reddit under "UAP sighting over Eugene, OR. 01-10-2025." He also put a slowed-down version of the same sighting onto Reddit under "**Update** UAP sighting over Eugene, OR. 01-10-25." R told me that he would keep me updated on any information he finds out about this incident.

Shooting star-like light flying at high speed in tight sine wave pattern eastward spotted on OR20 just past Eddyville, OR

Pretty much what the summary says. The one extra detail I might add is that this is the second time I've seen an object like this in about the same place. The other one was a few years ago and only a mile or two from tonight's sighting. The object I saw previously didn't move strangely, but it was a similar color and had a sparkling tail.

Looking out the window there was a white/metalic object I could tell it wasn’t a plane nor helicopter/drone

So I've been watching the sky and at night time I see a drone and orb with in my sky almost every night now so I just got to work and looking out the window towards the west and there was the white object kind of looked like two circles connected almost an oblong shape but I seen detail that kind of curvature towards the center of the object, its wasn't high enough to be a plane cruising at altitude but wasn't low enough to get a lot of detail but it sure didn't have wings nor propellers on it, than about ten minutes later I reflective light hit my eye and this was kind of the same altitude as the other one but it was more Metalica looking and heading the same direction south and then I went outside to check it out and it was In front of some clouds, it was the same shape looking but I was looking at it from a different angle and the light was bouncing off of it.

Extremely bright light low on the horizon moving slowly

I was driving to central Medford, Oregon, when I spotted I bright light in the sky. Now to mention, the Medford airport is right there just a couple miles northeast of the central Medford/Rogue Valley Mall off-ramp. Planes are extremely common, that’s what I thought it was at first. But then this light moved very slowly across the horizon. From the left side of the highway to the right, very low on the horizon, potentially around 500-1000 feet in elevation. I was also thinking it could have been Jupiter or Venus as I'm an astrophotographer. I then checked later on my sky guide app the direction I saw the object and it couldn't have been a star. So not an airplane, or star, then I thought helicopter searchlight, but I would have seen light rays come through the sky from particulates in the smog-ridden atmosphere of Medford. It was extremely bright, about 12—20 times brighter than Venus on a good night. I do not know what this object or light was. I was driving when I seen it, that's why I don't have a photograph. The illustration represents the subtle light rays and overall shape of it.

Saw 4, “orbs” at about 5K feet hovering over city

Was outside in my backyard listening to music on airpods and looking at the night sky when I noticed several “orbs” high in the sky swirling around each other and moving in somewhat erratic patterns. Immediately ran into the house to get my wife to come see them so she didn’t think I was nuts. The orbs seemed like a constellation, but were definitely in our atmosphere and not in space. After watching them for about 20 seconds, they began to quickly ascend and their lights blinked out. I was too awe inspired to shoot video with my phone, and I don’t think pics/vids would have done justice anyway. That said, I have seen similar videos from around the country that effectively portray what I saw, with orbs and “drones” (see below) appearing at the same time. I saw them again about 10-15 minutes later as I was talking to my sister on the phone telling her about what I saw. They repeated the pattern of moving in erratic patterns until their lights eventually blinked out. At the same time I saw the “orbs”, a couple drone-like things appeared below the orbs. They had red and green nav lights but didn’t make any noise and disappeared around the same time the orbs went dark. The next night I saw a “drone” again flying over the city (looked like a “fake” plane) making no noise. Also seemed to maneuver quite well for a little “plane”. It looked like a plane but something just didn’t seem right about it. Don’t know if it was coincidence or not, but there were two blackhawk army helicopters in the air the second night for almost two hours and they were flying over the city. Their night flights are usually confined to the Guard base at the airport for training (we are about a mile away from airport). I did not see “orbs” the second night (Thursday). I appreciate having this outlet to tell my story because there’s a certain stigma attached to admitting to people what you saw. I am a college-educated science professional and have been a skywatcher all my life, as I find the cosmos fascinating. I’m almost 50 years old and have never seen anything like that in the sky, and I’ve seen plenty of satellites and meteorites and drones and planes. Saw object hovering in air, very low altitude, with 2 white lights on either end, on my drive to work.

On my drive to work in Portland, SE 122nd Ave between Division and Market. Maybe 100 yards up in the air? Smaller than a plane or helicopter, very low, but larger than your average drone. Two white lights together, on either end of something. Was dark and rainy, but this was well below the cloud level. Was just sort of hovering?

This object seemed to be knowing where I was going in a sense. It flew and stayed over the mountain behind my house for twenty minutes.

It was night time. This object which appeared as a SUPER BRIGHT white and yellow light in the sky. Slowly moving from east “Glide” to southwest “Lookingglass” areas. This object once in Lookingglass faded to just a large, but less bright orange light. My wife was with me when I was East of Roseburg. She saw it when it was really bright. She went into town and I headed home. I saw it my entire ride home. This thing seemed to move with me and intentionally stay in my view. At one point I thought to myself and I don’t know why I thought this, but as if I were talking to it. I said in my head “I see you, I know you’re there, stay with me and go to my house so I can see you” . It’s probably a coincidence this thing stopped above the hill behind my house. Once I almost got home I stopped in the road for twenty minutes. Talking to my wife and her mom about the object on the phone. For twenty minutes I stayed parked in the road staring at it. It had no sound and didn’t move at all. At one point I turned my truck off so I didn’t have any light pollution. I got freaked out and turned my truck back on, but when I turned my truck off. I could faintly see blue lights underneath this thing. Very faint, twinkling lights. That appeared to come out of it and go back into it. Like it was doing something on-top the hill. These blue lights were extremely faint. It was night so I couldn’t see any structure, but a few times when I was driving. The object appeared to be closer then at other times and I could clearly tell. The large orange light was underneath a larger darker object. Much too large to be an aircraft, much too still and quiet. There was no blinking lights at all. The lights stayed firm. Other then changing colors. A car drove up behind me and I was on a blind corner so I drove to my house a few hundred feet away. But I couldn’t see the object from my house because of the trees. When I drove back out to the road and turned around. It was gone.

2 larger, typical shaped aircraft with 3 or 4 smaller, irregular rectangular shapes with "tails" in tow?

Initially heard sound of low rumble like typical jet engine noise. Started trying to spot it when noise seemed to be a little east of my location. Daytime, clear skies. Could not see anything as noise passed overhead & west. If overhead is 90 degrees, at about 75-80 degrees, seemingly as sun hit it, I saw 2 larger, white "aircraft"- diamond shape with arrow shaped front- Narrow at the tip, broadening to "wings", then tapering back, but not as narrow as tip. They were flying adjacent to each other with 3 or 4 smaller, accompanying objects. The smaller ones were irregular, rectangular shape (like a "mermaid's purse" or skate egg sack) with short "tails" off some corners. Appeared that those might be in tow by the 2 larger aircraft. They headed southwest over the ocean & disappeared from view as I tried to get a pic with my phone. I believe they were very high altitude & it was just the angle that the sun hit them that made them temporarily visible. Weird that they were all uniformly white without any shiny, metallic, lights nor apparent exhaust. Posted to "NextDoor" hoping others had seen them. Someone said they heard the sound, but no other visual confirmation. This was not long after notification of possible Tsunami activity south of here, so I thought it might be some kind of device to monitor ocean surface levels.

Strange Flashes in the southern sky.

I woke up at about 12:30 this morning and looking out my living room windows to the south I watched for almost 5 hours straight as the sky lit up as if someone was flipping a light switch off and on. The sky would get brighter and would hold that brightness for 4-5 seconds and without even flickering it would get even brighter and stay at that solid brightness for a few seconds before returning to normal. This happened over and over again with different mechanical like patterns. Nothing about it seemed organic and I tried with 3 different cameras to get photos and videos, but all I can see is a black screen unless I'm sitting in a dark room without light, then I see like a purple, pink and cobalt blue like mist in all of the photos. I even took a couple of photos of Jupiter with different zoom distances and Jupiter even had that purple and blue haze around it. When I looked to the north, I couldn't see the flashes and only saw clear sky with lots of stars.

Observed UFO space battle!

Walking North from 929 SW Salmon St Portland, OR 97205 at latitude 45.51 and longitude -122.68 and 351 degrees, looking at the NW evening clear, cold, no snow, no winds, no clouds, distinguishable from a shooting star or comet, not an airplane, not a FA Fighter jet, maybe a harrier, but I saw two UFO's in the sky, with lights, and it looked like they were hovering. I saw a long arch of lighting with about 3 other arches that branched out from it and travel west in the direction of another UFO possibly. There was also thunder accompanied at the same time and it sounded mean, swift, with a sense of radiation or heat felt afterwards. The other two UFOs had lights and they seemed to be observing the other two. I think these aliens maybe observing the bullshit here.

Multiple orbs crossing each other and going into straight line formation and disappearing

On 12/3/24 at approximately 5:57pm my husband and I were outside near our back yard, we looked up above the houses and all over the night sky above we started seeing orbs of light traveling. Some were moving in a different zag pattern and others were falling into a straight line of travel. We could see at least 3 different sets of paths of travel of orbs convening into 1 line to travel. My husband and I watched for roughly just under 3 minutes before I texted my mom and dad inside my house to look up outside. Our next door neighbor also came out and watched for a minute before going to get his fiance. At this time I pulled my phone out to record the 2 minute and 20 second long video. We witnessed 200 to 300 orbs travelling in that 5 minutes we watched all of this. I checked starlink and nothing was listed visible for my area at this time. All the things we saw were white in color and brighter than the average star. They could move in all directions and the speed they moved could be sped up or slowed down. Once in formation they were perfectly spaced apart and traveled at the same speed.

Weird changing ball of light

I'm walking to my vehicle so I can go to work and I see a bright blue flash to my left and I look over at it and it’s flashing blue red then white, so I thought it was a drone or aircraft and disregarded it, and as soon as I pull out my parking spot I see the same light change from blue green white then it changed to green red white. Saw a disk-shaped object materialize & shoot off at an impossible speed.

I had just parked my car in the lot of my apartment complex. I was stepping out of the vehicle, slinging my book bag over a shoulder, when I happened to glance up: in the clear night sky overhead—maybe a football field above me—was a darkly-lit, pewter colored UFO. The UFO was roughly 150' in diameter, possibly larger. It was hovering stationary & it was entirely silent. Circular white-green lights patterned a bright ring around its exterior. The lights rapidly flashed sequentially one-by-one in rapid fashion, then went the dark. Like it was winking at me. The craft then shot off in a beam of white-green light toward the northwest horizon at an utterly incomprehensible speed.

I was left quite shaken by the event—my keys were literally trembling in my hand—after seeing the craft depart at such tremendous speed. For that brief moment, I could feel my brain recalibrating around what my eyes had just absorbed. It was as though through the act of witnessing the process of such gravitational impossibility, I, too, became a part of the craft’s immensity: space slowed & time stretched. The light that accompanied the craft's speed was similar to the effect as seen in Millennium Falcon in the film Star Wars—a spaghettification, like taffy pulled from one section of the sky to the other. The light then zippered away, vanishing as quickly as it materialized, & I was left standing on the earth, a pale ape gazing at the sky.

Cloaking While Scanning Me/My House

On approximately November 7, 2024 at approximately during the solar maximum I started hearing and feeling the scanning frequency the ets, like to do to me every now and then. It happens actually quite frequently and I knew right away what was happening. I was in the kitchen so I went to hide behind my fridge as I knew I can tell the direction. I got behind my fridge to try to block the scanning but it didnt really help so i grabbed some tin foil and put it over my head. They didn't stop scanning and it was a nice day so I decided to run out and take a look. Sure enough I was looking directly up into the sun a little southernly. I have better than 20/20 vision and I was able to get about 3 or 4 glimpses at it. It was cloaking. But it still had a bit showing.

I have seen them before during the night (orb with 6500k light) but this one appeared dark. Its hard to describe but it craft was stationary but the spec was like seeing an optical allusion just like the cloaking devices we have. Part of it was always showing like a spec but I would see a dark triangle shape pattern that would I don't know the right word but it was wobbly and it was like I could see a distorted dark spot that was trying to be covered up but would show up triangle like and move with. Its hard to describe this kinetic event. It was definitely cloaking. It was almost like when you're under water and you can see refracting bending light of an object at the surface.

Anyways, I threw up the live long and prosper signs which I like to do when they do their scanning thing on me because I always can tell what direction they are from. I'm an advanced surfer and a great observer. They have an interest in me which kind of scares me.

3 Triangle Light cluster formation over McMinnville, OR

Was riding in my bicycle during times between 5:40pm to 6:00pm. It was over cast with low clouds one could see opening between clouds and evening darkening sky. Upon viewing the skyline I saw what appeared to be about 11 red triangle shaped UFO's clusters hovering off in the distance. You could see them move around and some faded into the thickness of the cloud coverage. Few cars slowed down to see what I was seeing. Some of these UFO's lingered and then them went off into the clouds. There was one of them that seemed to have a curious lingering while it hovered as I stared at it.

Bright white light moving at very high speeds

The first sighting of the UAP happened the night of November 1st on a commercial flight from SLC to MFR. We had just leveled off at 36,000 feet when we noticed bright white lights circling one another. The lights increased in speed and velocity corresponding with the intensity of the light; the brighter the light - the faster the objects moved. The objects moved independently of one another; sometimes they would circle each other, and other times they would move away from one another very quickly. At one point, they formed a triangle. I did not notice significant movement as a triangle, only the formation of a triangle. It was hard to identify how many objects there were due to the constant motion of the lights. The most I remember seeing at one time was 5-6.

During the sighting, the lights would appear and disappear quickly. We watched them for around 45-50 min. The apparent distance between us and the lights never changed. We were traveling with a ground speed of around 400 kts.

We asked ATC if there was military activity in the sector; there was none reported. When I filed a report with ATC the following morning they made it clear there were no observable aircraft at the location we had reported.

The driver who took us from the airport to the hotel said that we were the 3rd or 4th crew to have seen something and mentioned it to him. I asked him when the last crew member reported something to him; he said two weeks earlier.

Orb/Light with a haze/glow around it. It appeared and then dimmed out and disappeared.

I was driving home from taking my son to school. It was 7:57am and I was on Highway 18 about to turn off on the road to my house when I saw a really bright yellowish-orange orb/light with a glow/haze around it in a cloud. It got bigger and brighter and then just dimmed out and disappeared. The sun was off to my left and this light was at about my 1 o'clock and appeared to be 150 feet in the air or so. I don't know what it was and I couldn't get a picture or video because I was driving and there wasn't anywhere to pull over and it only lasted about a minute.

Driving to work, saw large light in sky , thought it was planet until I saw small orb come out of the top then disappear.

I was on my way to work from Boardman OR to Hermiston OR heading East bound on I-84. I was alone in the car so no other witness to sighting. I looked up through the windshield and saw a very bright object. I did not notice it at any other point before leaving home or while driving so I am not sure when it first appeared. With the previous nights planetary line ups I had assumed it was Venus but then noticed how high in the sky it was and the time of day. I continued to change my focus from driving and then back to the sky. I had been working on ways to debunk, I have seen reflections from airplanes in the sun before but this object was stationary. I then had taken the exit I needed which is 182 Hermiston/ Lexington. I take this everyday for work five days a week and often times in the spring in summer on the weekends to get farm supplies. This route is traveled often with no other oddities noted.
Taking the exit, I turned left, this would have put the object out of my sight putting it to my right the whole while, I had assumed it would have been gone by the time I will need to take Feedville Rd. However, to my surprise I saw it still in the sky. This road I could slow down and take my time on without traffic. I looked up at it and saw it in the same spot, still the same brightness and same color. I then had seen a small orb come out of the top right side of the light, come down the right side and go back in. After the smaller orb returned to the light I witnessed the object begin to fade. It got dimmer and dimmer then disappeared completely. I continued to look up double checking if maybe it was an airplane that had left the suns reflection but did not see any other objects. No planes, no helicopter, no stars/planets. I texted my fiance while this had occurred so I was able to get a specific time stamp.

After seeing this I can relate it to another sighting a couple years before this but at night in Boardman, OR. Driving with my fiance facing south at the time then east again to home. I saw a light of similar color and brightness and pointed it out to him. After turning East onto Wilson Rd in Boardman this object was to the right of the car above the horizon line I followed along with my finger and asked him what he thought it was. He worked it out to be a drone. I noticed it fading out while still traveling East and told him to look. This object was not going particularly fast but was moving at a decent speed. Once again object had faded out to the east. I was shocked and asked if he saw it disappear which he did not.

I was driving home, just got off work, saw two red lights flying low and I felt like I had to follow them.

I clocked out at exactly 6:47 AM. I started driving home, going towards the back road when I started feeling dizzy. I noticed two bright red lights flying low and I felt like they were somehow beckoning me to follow them so I did. I started hallucinating that my mother was in my passenger seat telling me to follow them so I kept following. I don't know where I went, which road I took, but it led me to some woods. It must have been a long time because I had a missing person report put out on me and a lot of people including police were looking for me which I had no idea. My mom called me, I told her she was in my passenger seat, didn't think anything weird of it. She talked to me for a while and I explained what was happening. She said I sounded 'out of it'. After that I don't remember anything at all. I guess I blacked out. I woke up a couple hours later and my phone was dead. I woke up still in my car but I had no idea where I was. I was on a grassy hill so I drove down it and eventually found a road but I was so dizzy that I crashed right into a ditch. A guy came out and helped me get my car on the road and found that my cousin was following me from there. I pulled over and got out, the cop questioned me, noticed I had brown sticky stuff all over my teeth and inside my mouth. I grabbed a toothbrush out of my backpack and brushed it off. They took me to the hospital to do some tests including a urine drug test which came back clean. No drugs were involved otherwise I would have been arrested. That's the whole incident. I was incredibly tired so I got a ride back to my girlfriend's house and went to sleep. I cannot make sense of any of this.

Slow moving rectangular ufo

In the western part of the sky, me and three witnesses observed a rectangular craft moving from southwest to northwest. It slowly moved across the sky in what looked like a straight line.

We were in awe of what we were seeing. The whole sighting lasted about 10 minutes, before it disappeared from our sight.

During the sighting, we were logging on starlink, to see if it was startlink, and fortunately, it was not. It was amazing, and from what I'm reading online, I'm not the only person to have seen it.

Slow, triangular wing 200 feet overhead

My wife and I were briefly looking at the stars and commenting on the differences between Alaska and Oregon when the object flew almost directly overhead, exactly where we were both focused. The object was wing-shaped and the aura was an effect on its surface/skin that made the object practically invisible. The “aura” effect on the skin was multi-colored and constantly changing in order to hide itself. The colors were black/brown/grey/silver and were not fixed to any one part of the craft, but shimmered over its entirety to cloak it. The object made absolutely no noise. The object was moving slowly and allowed for our eyes to focus on it and talk to each other to confirm that we were definitely seeing something. The wingspan was roughly larger than a large pick-up truck. There were no other features visible to me, but my wife saw circular points underneath the object (these are in her drawing of the object). My wife and I concur on everything we witnessed aside from the circular points underneath the object, which I did not see because I was focused on the shifting aura on the skin. The object was only 200 feet overhead.

Investigator Keith Bickford interviewed the witness (D), who is a private pilot, on 01-13-2025 at 4pm PST and provided this report:

D stated that he and his wife were in their backyard looking at the stars on 10-12-2024 at approximately 9pm PST. D stated it was a clear and very dark sky. D stated that the two of them observed an aircraft fly almost directly over them from the west and was approximately 200 feet in the air. D stated that the craft made no noise, and appeared to be floating with no "air disruption." D then stated that the aircraft looked like a "large black void that blocked out the stars."

D stated that the aircraft was difficult to see, but appeared to be a triangle shape and about the size of a large pickup truck. He then stated that the reason the aircraft was so difficult to see was because it kept changing colors. D stated that the aircraft displayed black, brown, gray, and silver shifting lights which made it "practically invisible." D stated that the lights were changing all over the aircraft, and not fixed to any specific part of the craft. D also stated that there was a "haze" around the aircraft.

D compared the aircraft he saw to a "stealth fighter" and stated it was moving forward very slowly, and appeared to be "floating." He also stated that he didn't see any obvious place for a pilot. D stated that he was able to confirm that the aircraft wasn't on any radar that evening. D then stated that his wife thought she saw 6 circular lights underneath the aircraft when it flew over them. D stated that he was so fixated on the color change on the aircraft that he did not see the circular lights.

D stated that he is an experienced pilot, and he has seen things while flying that he couldn't explain. D stated that this sighting was something he could not explain based on his training and experience. He also stated that he talks to other pilots who have had similar sightings, but they are afraid to say anything outside of their group because no one will believe them. D stated that he appreciated having a place like NUFORC to report UAP's.

The aircraft was at altitude (approximately 40,000 ft) headed in a Southern direction coming from the North. The time of 9:15 PM is approximate so perhaps between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Well above the aircraft there was a dot of light that appeared to be tracking the aircraft matching speed and direction throughout the arc of traveI. This lasted until they both became too distant to see. My memory or my impression could be inaccurate but I had thought I saw minor corrections to the dot of light as if maintaining it's position above the aircraft. Although I listed that it lasted for one minute it may have been about 30 seconds to one minute. I am retired but I'll add that I had spent four years with the USN Air from 1967 to 1971.

I've seen multiple objects in the sky that move quickly across, sometimes slowing down or even stopping briefly. They’re vivid and bright, appearing out of nowhere and often becoming brighter before slowly fading away. My camera can’t capture them due to its low quality, but these objects shine a bright white light, some of them blinking very brightly. One of the most striking events was a bright flash near the area of a star, which looked almost like an explosion but happened with no sound and then disappeared. These occurrences leave me confused, as neither my satellite radar nor the Flight Radar app can detect them.

Standing in my back yard at night, I saw a craft, lights in the night sky, approaching over our property from the south. as I watched it get closer, I realized it made no noise whatsoever. I called to my wife who immediately stepped out and we watched in awe of what we were witnessing. 2 bright lights spread about 25-30' apart coming over our property. Our property is within a half mile distance of a small VFR only airport, and regularly we see helicopters and small aircraft land and depart from there and after being here for over 25 years we recognize these. This craft was not close to the airport which is to our east. It followed a straight line from southern horizon to northern horizon. In clear view for about 20 sec. and dead silent! The craft had 2 steady bright lights as it approached on the farthest points of the triangle and as the craft became directly overhead a large 2-3' convex light came into view on the end point of the triangle. Meaning the triangle was moving in a forward motion with the point toward the rear, a bright light now on all three points. The light in the trailing point flashed. This craft made no sound at all. There was no visible fuselage. My Wife mentioned she felt a lifting effect as it traveled over. I felt something as well but thought it was from holding my breath. As we watched and tried to figure out what it was, thinking an airplane, neither of us wanted to run back inside to grab a camera and miss what we were seeing.

While checking out the clear night sky we looked up above to see a light dancing moving steadily in different directions up-down-sides

Walking back from store looking at the clear night sky my partner and I were looking at the sky, enjoying the stars when we suddenly noticed a star looking object that was clearly not a star. The object was moving in different directions and seemed to be dancing around, up down-side to side, at one point it looked like it was directly on top of us. A plane flew by, maybe a small Cessna type plane so it seemed to be at a higher altitude that that of the plane but I feel like that plane could have easily seen it too. It was there for a while, my partner saw it too and was focused on another light in the same area of the sky, he said it looked like it was forming a triangle with another light. I only saw 2 of the lights he was talking about but did seem odd that it was possibly forming a formation. The objects also did zig-zag type movements. We thought it could be a drone but living in Portland we've seen lots of them and this didn't seem likely as the altitude was higher than a typical drone. Lasted for about ten minutes or so before we felt the need to go back home to safety after coming close to being directly below it.

Beam of light from approximately 15,000 feet drops rapidly to 5000 feet and stops, a green sphere then rose from beyond the horizon.

I stepped out onto my balcony in Southeast Portland to look at the sunset and as soon as I stepped outside a beam of light from below the cloud line at about 15,000 dropped rapidly. I thought it was a missile at first and became startled but then I thought it was a shooting star. I became confused because it had a trajectory straight toward the earth and never broke up in the atmosphere. It happened beyond Downtown Portland in a southwest direction. It left a beam of light for about 5 seconds that I saw with the naked eye. The sky was orange for the sunset, the beam was bright white. About 30 seconds later as I was trying to figure out what happened a craft rose from beyond the horizon. From what I can tell on the map it was hovering right over Washington Park in SW Portland. It swayed back and forth a little bit compared to the trees below but mostly stayed stationary. It was bright green and then turned a pale olive green, it was noticeably different compared to the red lights on the skyscrapers and cell phone towers. It hovered for about 5 minutes and then slowly sank beyond the horizon or the west hills (Tualatin Mountains).

I recognized the craft immediately because I saw a very similar-looking one on Lake Erie in June of 2018. We were sailing overnight in between Put-in-Bay and Kellys Island for the Mills Race. When I saw the craft last night it was unexplainable but I recognized it almost immediately. It made many aerial maneuvers on Lake Erie compared to the sighting in Portland. Including going underwater. I did not think to report it in 2018. I bring it up now because the spherical craft in Portland looked nearly identical in shape and color.

We Saw a ship it was a silver disk like thing appear and it flew very fast in front of us and then behind a hill

Me and my family were sitting in and a stargazing event and a silver ship like a disk with glowing square windows came up over the horizon it was very bright at first and was inside atmosphere then went out of atmosphere at a very sharp turn and it went dim then it took another sharp turn and cut across the sky and went behind a hill and was gone but I was able to take picture of it as it went across the sky.

Was taking zoomed in pictures of a 4 engine jet for a wallpaper on my phone.

I am a private pilot looking to get into flight school in the next year to become a professional pilot, so I am always looking out for airplanes to take pictures of as I live by our local airport. On this day I saw a great looking contrail high in the sky coming off what I expect was a 747, but cant be sure, heading S to slightly SE. All I know is it had 4 engines and the photo of the jet and contrail would make a great wallpaper for my phone. I zoomed in and took 4 photos within approximately 30-45 seconds as the jet flew directly overhead starting at around 15° to the North from straight above to 20° South from straight above. I didn't check my photos after that, just kept walking my dog. Now, days later, I was going through my photos I have recently took and noticed an anomoly in only 1 of the 4 photos that looks like a metallic craft near the jet. In the photo the sun would have been to the west(right side of the picture) which is why it seems odd the anomoly is reflecting light from the same side.

At 3:30 am I saw red light blinking in circular motion. No noise. A jet with FAA lights followed it. Jet made noise.

At 3:30 on the morning, I noticed strange red lights out of the corner of my eye, out the window. I got up and watched this craft for 5 minutes or so. It moved straight, going east I believed in the Mt. Hood direction. The craft made no noise. It had red lights alternating in a circular motion. Not 2 minutes later, a fighter jet flew by following the craft. The jet did make noise as it cruised by with after burners off as it followed craft. The jet clearly had red and white FAA lights. The craft only had red. It was not something you could confuse. It was a mile or two away. I could see the jet clearly, probably because it has more lights. If it was only the craft alone, I might have questioned what I saw. But a jet following it at 3 in the morning? Very strange...

I looked up from my deck and saw this in the sky. I initially thought it was a far away plane then realized there was no sound and no wings. I pulled out the camera and when I zoomed in, it looked like a cylindrical bubble. In all, it was less than 30 seconds and then it was out of sight.

See video of silent red orb floating through trees then hover over road aprox 100 yrd away 20 ft from ground

The attached video was taken from my yard as I was running my dog at 9:10 PM August 15, 2024. We live in rural farm area just South of Cottage Grove. Looking due north I saw a brightly lit, red orb about 100 yards away & about 20 feet from ground. I estimate it was about 5-6 feet in diameter. At first I thought it might be a drone but it was completely silent & bigger than any private drone that I'm aware of. There was a slight breeze coming from the direction of the object so I'm pretty sure I would have heard some sound if there was any. I did contact my neighbors to find out if they had a drone & they said they did not. I wondered who would be flying a drone through trees at night that could be so silent. I thought that one of that size would surely make some kind of sound. The sound heard on video is from passing vehicles on a nearby road & crickets. It looked like a ball of red light pulsing & floating from due West to East about 3 miles per hour to the road. Then stopped & hovered over road for several seconds. Then traveled back the same way it came through trees. The video begins as the object was hovering over the road in clear sight before traveling back (West) the way it came. As it hovered over the road it got brighter & dimmer or perhaps larger & smaller. Im not sure. After it went out of sight behind trees I saw a flash of light in the area it disappeared which is barely detectable on video where I commented. I don't know what this object could be but I hope there's a simple explanation. I have a 4 year college education & worked in the title & escrow field before retiring. I'm fairly accurate at judging distances as I'm an outdoorsman and a bird hunter.

Red Star became a Red Light & swiftly moved away, not like any plane or star could ever be capable of.

Red Light appeared over I-5, first appearing as a star. At 10pm on 8/1/2024, at Anthony Lakes in eastern Oregon, 3 witnesses saw a giant orange orb 10-12 feet in diameter hovering over water.

From July 30th until August 3rd 2024, my extended family met for our annual camping trip in the Wallowa Whitman National Forest in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon at Anthony Lakes Resort. As we always do, we stayed at campsite #33 which is a hike-in site, about a quarter mile south from the parking lot/bathroom/boat launch area on the southeastern edge of Anthony Lake.

Anthony Lakes is a very special place for my family. My grandparents and their six children (my mother and five uncles) ran the resort every summer starting in the early 1970s. After the cafe and cabins were taken down by the forest service in the late 1980s my family retired from their summer work but continued the tradition of coming together there every summer. When my mother passed away, we spread her ashes in the lake. My grandmother has since passed as well and her ashes will be spread in a special little spot she chose years prior. In fact all of us have communicated to each other our favorite places at Anthony where we wish to rest after death.

My grandfather has spent much time building artful benches to install in various locations at the lakes. He and my uncles sourced wood from the area and lovingly assembled each one in dedication to a specific person who has passed on.The first one was installed last summer for my grandmother. By the date of our trip, which was over his 96th birthday, he had completed three more benches and they were all installed in their carefully chosen locations.

We usually stay at Anthony Lakes for several weeks at a time but we had been prevented from arriving on our planned date due to the nearby Durkee fire and other wildfires in the region causing restrictions and road closures. As a result there were hardly any people camping or visiting the area so it was extremely quiet. There were no other people camping in any of the hike-in spots near the lake the entire time and very few people around in general outside of lodge staff and local day use visitors.

On the night of Thursday August 1st 2024, we had some strange experiences. Shortly after dark my sons went down to the boat launch area to look for frogs and toads. Our family rule is that we catch them, name them, thank them, and then let them go where we found them. The boys came back excited because they had found a large adult western toad they wanted to show me. After marveling over it,I had them lead me back to where they found it so we could let it go. As we watched our toad friend wander off, a light appeared across the lake from us on the west shore right about where one of the benches had been installed. It was a small amber circle of light and didn’t shine in a beam like a flashlight. The light blinked, flickered, disappeared, and reappeared a few times. We shined our flashlights towards it off and on but it was too far away for us to determine any information about the source. It looked to be about the size of a golf ball and we figured it was probably just a strange colored flashlight so we did not think much of it.

Later around 10pm, after everyone else in camp was asleep, I asked my 6ft tall, athletic, blue belt in karate, outdoorsman teenage son to walk me from camp to the bathroom. We stopped for a moment at the first bridge and shined our lights into the creek. We saw a brook trout below with very swollen popped out looking eyes.The poor thing was swimming erratically in circles and bumping into rocks. I wanted to take a picture to send to ODFW but I had left my phone in camp so we continued on.

As we made our way we noticed a very large, bright orange and red light, shimmering like blazing fire, on or near the water of Anthony Lake. There are trees growing in the strip of space between the trail and the lake so we did not have a clear line of sight but the trees are spread out enough to see through them pretty well.

Since fire danger was extreme and there was a burn ban in effect at the time, we worried there was a wildfire starting or that a person had carelessly built a bonfire on the shore so we shined our flashlights in that direction to see better and continued to walk the path. The strange orange light seemed to respond to our flashlights and began to move slowly toward us, similar to a walking pace.

As it moved we could see that it was not coming from a source on the land around the lake and it appeared to be free floating in the air, not attached to anything, hovering about 6 feet above the lake. The distinct orange reflection beneath it on the water's surface was incredibly bright and large, shimmering in the pattern of the rippling waves so it was clear there was no boat or other object beneath it that could have been a source.

The closer it came toward us the brighter and bigger it appeared. It seemed to be spherical in shape but did not have clearly defined edges as one would expect to see in a solid object.

The orange red light emitting from it was intensely brilliant. It appeared almost like a liquid ball of fire, chaotically radiating swirls, shimmers, and flicks of flaming light, while also holding its shape.

Its size is hard to estimate as it seemed to get larger as it drew near but we think it was at least 10-12 feet in diameter, about the size of a standard circle trampoline frame.

The orb of light made no sound and the silence of the night was profound. The geology of this area amplifies sound with echoes bouncing across the waters of multiple lakes and surrounding mountains so the absence of sound at this time was notable.

While we made these observations and watched the ball of light follow and draw ever closer to us, seemingly growing in size and intensity, we felt an increasing sense of terror as we approached the clearing of the parking lot.

Just as we came to the edge of the tree cover my son grabbed my arm and said, "F-No, we are leaving now!" The glowing light was moving toward the boat launch at the edge of the parking lot at this moment which was adjacent to the same open area we needed to cross to reach the bathroom.

I tried to convince my son to continue forward but his "strong survival instinct" kicked in and he absolutely refused. He said while he was looking at it just then, he thought he saw it morph in pattern looking like a skull inside the light and he was not taking one more step closer to its vicinity. He grabbed my arm and practically dragged me back to camp with the ball of light following and pacing us up the shoreline.

Once we arrived at camp away from the view of the lake I still needed to use the bathroom so I woke my uncle and told him.The three of us headed back down the trail and the light was still visible but seemed smaller and had moved away from us, further out in the middle of the water toward the northwest end of the lake, close to where my grandmother’s bench sits. I had my phone this time but it was too far away to get a clear picture. My uncle had us turn off the flashlights and said he was going to "sneak up on it." He left the trail and made his way through the trees toward the shore while my son and I continued down the path toward the bathroom.

With his eyes fixed on the strange light, my uncle stumbled upon a sleeping deer which spooked the deer and made it jump up and run around. This scared the life out of him so he turned back toward the trail. As we made our way down the trail the ball of light was harder and harder to see. As we breached the clearing into the parking lot, the light was suddenly gone.

The three of us walked to the edge of the lake at the boat launch and pondered our strange experience while stargazing.We wondered if the small orange light we saw earlier in the night had any relation to the huge one.The poor bewildered deer wandered around and stayed rather close to us which we noted as odd behavior. On the way back I stopped and took a picture of the fish which was sent to ODFW after our return home.

My family has been spending time at Anthony Lakes every summer for the last 50 years and while we have seen and heard strange things in the past no one has ever experienced anything this extreme or vivid.

Object apparently turned off

I was with a few friends out in the yard considering the planning to getting a golf cart down to Eugene. I drifted off from the conversation looking up at the night sky as I often do. The weather was perfect for seeing the sky with little to no clouds, only the drowning light from the city and nearby Portland Airport. I was looking NW at the little dipper and what got my attention was a star between UMa and aBoo that was much brighter than UMa and A Boo and I never noticed before. It suddenly what I can best describe is turned off, it was out like that. It did not fade out or reaapear, it did not get smaller or larger, it just turned off, it suprised me enough that I yelled out "Holy Sh*t that star just turned off bro!"

We spotted an orb with our naked eyes, then viewed it with binoculars and a birding scope where we were able to make out details.The structure was spherical and transparent: It looked like glass. Overall, the object looked like a jellyfish without the tentacles, and appeared to change color as the light from the sun faded from the sky. There were lines of bright lights on the top and bottom of the sphere forming curl shapes. It was moving and appeared to be headed east and ascending higher into the sky. We could see what looked to be dark objects inside of the sphere. At one point we could clearly see a row of dark panels (at least 4 of them) inside of it. We observed it for about 20 minutes, and it was still visible in the sky when we stopped watching it.

We were standing on the shoreline and looked back over the trees towards our camp where we saw the white glowing object hovering.

We were camping at Cove Creek Campground in Detroit Lake, OR standing at the shoreline of the lake and I looked up over the trees of our campground where I saw a white glowing object in the sky. At first I thought it might be a drone but after continued surveillance, there were no flashing red or green lights and it remained in a static position for about 30-45 minutes. We looked at it through binoculars and it was a circular disc shape. The color was white and almost translucent in nature. We continued to watch it and it ever so slowly started to hover further up towards the sky. We continued to watch it for a couple hours and it eventually went into the night sky to appear as bright as a star in the sky. Once night fell completely, we continued to watch it and it once again remained in a static position in the night sky appearing as just another star to a normal observer.

Black triangle came down from mt hood, when near city skipped in diagonal pattern before dissappearing

My crew and I were on the roof of Harrison East to check our swing stage safety lines and counter weights. It was a beautiful day, so we stopped to admire the view. Coming down from the east to SE in an arch (from direction of Mt. Hood, near 142nd fighter wing, before hitting the north end of downtown portland) we saw a black dot moving rapidly. I said, "wtf is that?" my guys look and said they don’t know. We watched it come near the beginning of downtown Portland when the shape came into view - it was a black triangle. It then moved in a diaganol, forward motion moving forward from the left to right. But it would disappear on the right side, then reappear on the left - rapidly moving forward as it did this. It was like it blipped out of existence in one spot, then reappear a ways away at another. It did this several times before instantly dissappearing over Downtown Portland.

I've seen this exact craft twice before! Both times in the general area of the 142ns fighter base. Once when I lived in apartments in Ne 133rd and Sandy blvd, and once again off East Burnside and 117th. All instances it came from the direction of Mt. Hood towards and past the 142nd fighter base area.

If someone wants to contact me, please do. I have a video of a metal orb that started moving and glowing before zipping off. Under the comet we had years ago. I've seen a lot of UAP in this area.

Two bright moving orbs seen moving strangely before disappearing into Big Dipper.

Myself and a friend were inside and I was talking about UFOs, then two people who were in the hot tub started banging on the window. We went outside and all of us immediately saw two orange orbs that moved strangely for a few minutes. As soon as my finger pressed the record button on my phone, they vanished right by the big dipper. Definitely not airplanes or helicopters, drones, flares, parachuters, or Starlink. The lights were far too big and their movement was not always linear. They were near the coastline and may have been over the ocean. They flew up, and then hovered and went down a bit.

In the past couple of weeks, I've seen three bright lights in a triangle shape in the sky three times. Once was during midday, and the other two times were at night while driving. The lights stay in one spot without moving. The first time, I watched them for 5 minutes before they disappeared. The second time, there were initially two lights, and then a third one suddenly appeared next to them. Tonight, there were three lights again, in the same position, but this time they moved from a triangle shape into a straight line and back again. All three disappeared in the blink of an eye. Orb shape that flickered or pulsed (visible to the naked eye) in the western sky as it moved erratically and randomly.

I first noticed the orb shaped object when looking out of my western facing bathroom window at apx. 03:15. At first, I assumed it to be a satellite.
However, upon further observation, the object appeared to move in an erratic manner unlike that of a satellite.

Instead of linear movement, the object moved randomly, including up, down and side to side. The movements ranged from smooth and controlled, to random “darting” or circling.

The object “sparkled” in shades of red, orange and gold, with no particular rhythm noted. It was brighter than the surrounding stars

I was able to capture a 2 minute video which clearly shows the movement of the object, although the object itself, appears somewhat “fuzzy” when enlarged, as would be expected with a video taken via a phone camera.
It should be noted that my iPhone was placed on a ledge so that it would remain steady during filming. Any movement seen in the video is that of the object and not caused by my phone.

When first sighted from my bathroom window, the object was due West with the angle of elevation estimated at 60°

It remained in roughly that orientation the entire time I viewed it.
Observer is a medical professional with advanced degree.

Oval shaped object circled around directly above, then dipped down, changed form, became obscured by blurry air and disappeared.

Oval shaped object was probably 8-10 ft in diameter, and was first observed at cloud height (maybe 1000ft?) in Hillsboro near the Quatama area. The object circled around directly above for maybe 10-15 secs in broad sweeping motions, then dipped down toward southwest direction, appeared to change form into a narrow vertical cylinder, became obscured by blurry air and disappeared. I initially thought the object was going to drift out of view over a nearby housing building, but the form change to the blurred view sequence all occurred with the object in sight before just vanishing altogether.

The oval object had a trapezoidal hockey puck look at first sight- with a white rectangular window of some sort visible that appeared to be halfway up the sides that sloped inward toward the top of the object. Due to the spinning, there may have been other details that were not observed.

The puck form appearance was visible for 25-30 seconds. The form change and blurry air sequence that followed the broad circular sweeping motions all happened within a second and then it was gone.

No sound observed, no visible means of propulsion could be made out. Hillsboro Airport is nearby, so planes, private jets and even fighter jets are pretty commonly heard and seen, especially during the annual air show weekend. No other aircraft were observed during the brief window this puck object was observed.

I was sitting on my back porch looking north, and I saw a shimmering object standing still, and then it flew over my apartment.

It looked like it was almost the size of an exercise ball. It was standing completely still in the sky but the wind was blowing, and after about 10 or 15 minutes it flew over my apartment at a really high speed. It didn't make any noise though, and it disappeared over the horizon in just a few seconds.

Observed a TicTac

Was watching the departing traffic from Portland International heading south then noticed the tic-tac object below the level of the aircraft and it was moving very much faster than the airliner. It appeared to be white in color and estimate about 10000 feet.
