Looked like a large flat screen TV with 1 small rectangle per side for a total of 2, shape of a fat cross, zero sound

Object was below morning cloud cover, est alt at 150 to 200ft. Completely silent, totally black in color, no lights. Moving slowly, slower than a bird glides. Slowly rotating, est of 100yrds per rotation. Very consistent altitude, very consistent speed. Traveling in an absolutely straight line, observed until too far away to see, 10 to 15 seconds maybe longer. If altitude estimate is correct the size would have been around that of a very large flat screen TV (4ftx3ft est). Quiet morning yet no sound was heard from this object at all, totally silent, no visible propellers or propulsion system of any type.

Was trying to photo jet, unusual for this area and over the airport, caught the fast flying object buzzing it with a lucky shot.

Unusual to see a jet with this tail configuration over the South Portland area, and over the airport. I am prior Airforce and was stationed at the 243rd base this was over and at the 101st air refusing wing on Bangor. I started to photo and zoom in to get a closer look at the jet and it was buzzed by a fast moving object and I got luck with a photo and captured it.

Orb was bright and moving back and forth and up and down and staying in one spot for more then a minute.

I was on my deck looking in the northwest sky when I seen i bright Orb shape object the at first was not moving. After about a minute the Orb went up and stopped for about 30 seconds. Then the Orb went back down and and started moving left and right and then up and down again. Then all at once it disappeared just like that. It was in the northwest sky. Not very high up. The Orb was as bright as the stars. It was big. There was nothing else in my frame of view but the tree line . The Orb looked like it was about 100 ft up from the trees.

Watched Orbs fly across the tree line

We have been watching these Orbs since August. It is now a nightly occurrence to see these flying around. I do not make a report every time I see them because it is almost daily. I filmed them in October and December, when it was easier to get out and film. I have not since. In August we watched them each week go up from the trees and turn orange, blue, green and red and then they would turn dark. Some would fly straight up, some to the right and one to the left. They would come back later and look like aircraft with blinking white lights. They would line up and then stop in midair and go through a sequence of lights blinking. 8 or 9 in the middle and then 8 or 9 around the outside in an oval. Then they would continue to the trees and disappear. These fly in 30 to 40 knot winds. They fly in formation, erratically and also very fast. One time it appeared many were dropping into the atmosphere. It was not until the news started talking about the drones in NJ that we realized we were seeing similar things. My boyfriend is a pilot and says he has never witnessed this before.

Descended from the sky and hovered about 40 feet off the ground. A tube of blue light came down and touched the Earth

This giant round sphere was at first a small dot in the sky, but it continued getting bigger and bigger rapidly until I finally realized that it was high in the stratosphere and coming down almost straight at me. I thought it was literally going to land in the field in front of my house, but it stopped about 60 feet above the ground and a tube of bright white blue light came down touch the ground and three red orbs Descended from the object to the ground. When the third orb touch the ground a giant white flash was seen that blinded me and caused everything to turn bright white momentarily. When I refocused there was nothing there. It was incredible.

I know for a fact that extraterrestrials are real, but I’ve never seen until now. I honestly believe that what I witnessed was a different race of people from somewhere else in the universe, I cannot say for sure, but I believe that the three orbs that came down out of the beam of white for being and I’m pretty sure they were placed on the ground like as if to say, they were transported through the beam of light from the object in the sky to the ground. I have absolutely no idea where they went once they landed because I was scared and cold and went back inside and like I said after the bright flash, I couldn’t see anything it was just gone, and if they did land, then they disappeared as well.

I have not gone out to look at the field yet because it is freezing cold out and I figured I should wait until tomorrow when there is daylight, but but it was very strange. I had a feeling that they knew I was watching them And I also had that feeling that you get when there is another presence close by, but you cannot see them and I know this sounds crazy but from the time I spotted this thing and it broke into our stratosphere and came close to the Earth until the bright white flash and I refocused and nothing was there. It almost seems like time stopped because all of the normal ambience sounds our surroundings make ceased to exist. There was a dead total silence like I have never witnessed before and I’m telling you I think they stopped time and I’m a little nervous because I’m pretty sure three beings got off that ship and if that’s the case, then we have an issue because that means they’re still somewhere close by and I have children to worry about. I did not get a feeling like anything bad was going to happen, but I have to be cautious because I simply have no idea what just happened.

Moved across the sky pulsating. 2 seconds brightens, 2 seconds dims, over and over. I saw three of these over a 30 min time period.

I was taking the dog out and looked up. I thought it was a satellite but I realized it would get very bright and then dim slowly to disappearing. It did this incrementally: 2 seconds to brighten, 2 seconds to dim. I called my brother to come see and he witnessed it for 15-20 seconds. I stayed out for a good hour and saw another light doing the same thing but in the other direction. I saw a thrid light briefly doing it for 5 seconds and then disappearing.

This part of the sky was cloudless at this point. I saw clouds rolled in later but they were not present during the sighting.

Impossible maneuvers, white orb, unstable characteristics. Flickers at times with no pattern

Observed white orb like object, perform impossible maneuvers for over an hour. Changes in altitude of several thousand feet in about one second. Erratic type hovering, then big distance moves. Overall in a NNW direction. Eventually faded away in the distance. Star gaze weekly, and have never seen a UFO....untill now. Unfortunately, it was only about as bright as a satellite, certainly to dim for the cell phone camera. The highlight was a drop from approx 30000ft to approx 15000ft is less than a second, after a flickering of the white light. Then changed directions east, then west, then back up to at least 20000ft. If I had to guess the speed, mach10+…….not possible. Changes in direction were completely instantaneous, as if G force did not apply to object.

Sighting in Augusta,ME. So close I could’ve thrown a baseball at it. There is no way possible I was the only one to witness this.

I was in my car traveling my normal route home from working in Portland, which I have done hundreds of times since March of 2024. As I was soon to be approaching exit 112B, I noticed 2 extremely large, bright, circular lights, parallel to each other in the distance ahead to my left. (At this point they were as far as my eyes could see ahead) I immediately started to try and rationalize what I could be seeing… the highest point of the hospitals tallest building, lit up? a cell phone tower? No. I would have noticed this during any of my countless drives home at this same hour of night. As I continued to drive toward the direction of this light formation I realized that it was actually moving south through the sky, still parallel. I would describe the distance between me and this sighting as a few football fields away when I watched it stop completely in the sky and the 2 lights that were previously illuminated with a green tint turned solely bright white. I was then able to make out a shape of what I was seeing beyond the lights. Immediately in my mind I compared what I saw to shipping containers, MASSIVE, and tilted in the air beyond each end of this formation of lights. From the complete stop, it began to move south again and in a peculiar way, slow, yet controlled. Between the brightness of the lights and the movement I confidently knew this was not a helicopter, plane, or anything I had ever encountered. By the time that it was approximately a football field from me it began to cross above and over the interstate, heading east to my north, in the direction of marketplace in Augusta. I rolled my window down and had my head almost out the window looking up as it passed over the interstate. It was as low or lower than a low flying helicopter by this point. It was so brightly illuminated that the light was almost all that could be seen. I remember looking up and thinking if there is no explanation for this, if there is actually something or someone in this thing… they 100% can see me and can see that I have seen them. It felt like I was being looked back at in that moment. But looking back… I don’t recall feeling scared or threatened with this in my presence. Just a burning desire to explain and understand what I was seeing. I immediately tried to get off the interstate and follow it but I had already passed the exit I would’ve needed to take to follow in its direction.

A few days later, I posted on an Augusta, Maine, Facebook page, and I had questioned anonymously if anyone had reported seeing anything in the sky that night. One commentator stated that there were reports of a comet breaking up in the sky that night. What I saw was not a comet. It was not a plane. It was not a helicopter. If it was a drone, then we need to be seriously concerned of who and why a drone of that capacity would be among us. I unfortunately did not take a video as I was driving around 70mph. If I had, there would be NO question of what I am describing. If you are reading this and saw something, please report it. I have never been more certain of the uncertain in my life.

My fiance and I were driving along a field when we noticed a bright light coming from the ground towards the sky in the distance. We pulled over and watched 1-7 orbs fading in and out. They would often appear near the ground, and move upwards. They formed lines and triangles, and moved together.

Eventually something that could have been a plane flew towards the object, stopped, and flew backwards, leaving in the distance.

While driving northeast on Brighton Ave, a large aircraft flew southwest above me, crossing my path. It was probably only 100 to 200 feet high. Moving approximately 65 mph. I viewed it entering my vision over the tree line to my right and flying off behind the tree line to my left. I opened my window to see if I could hear engines or propellers but I could not. It resembled a strange looking airplane with several lights on it. Light grey in color. There is a nearby airport but planes never approach from that direction. I commute to work on this road so I would know. There was a car in front of me that appeared to have no reaction to it.

This is the 2nd night in a row we saw a round/oval looking craft hovering around dusk (between 3:30 - 4pm-ish EST) with flashing lights. It was in the EXACT same spot as yesterday over the Eastern River. We thought it was an airplane, but there was no sound (planes echo all through this area whenever one passes overhead, so we thought it was odd that there wasn't any sound at all). It hovered for around 5 minutes (or at least that is how long we observed it). Suddenly, it was no longer in its spot and we saw a light speed off higher into the sky at a diagonal at super fast speeds! Again, there was no sound, and before we knew it it was gone.

Orb shooting off multiple colors, spinning, floating above ground and then shooting to a different location.

On the night of November 14th (around 6:40), 2 individuals spotted a circular or triangular light in the sky near Mapleton, Maine. No stars were out, so Witness 1 took a picture to zoom in. To the naked eye, it could be seen as a triangle or a circle. But on camera, it looked like a circle that was rotating at a rapid rate and shooting off many different colors. Both witnesses followed the orb around in a vehicle. In the hour it was observed, it hovered and would shoot off to a different location at a fast rate of speed. It was last seen going behind a line of trees.

Witness 1, submitting this statement, is Laura Plourde, an 18 year old female born and raised in Caribou, ME. Has never witnessed any other extraterrestrial activity.

Bright lites in night sky at approx 25 degrees elevation distance 5-10 miles circular shape

Initially sighting appeared relatively flat but when using binoculars seemed rounder with bright lighting inside the ballon shaped object. Looked like it had a few support beams around the outer side of the circular object. Difficult to see in detail, but seemed like two separate major sources of the lights therein. I only watched this for a total of 10 minutes so don't know how long it may have lasted. Although now in my 90's, was an Air Force pilot for 21 years and have seen nothing like this in my over 4500 flying hours. The object appeared stationary in the night sky.

My girlfriend and I were star gazing on a crystal clear evening recently. While gazing from a second floor exterior patio with zero light pollution at this time of evening. We were facing towards north by northwest sky above the horizon. We witnessed a single flash, two distinct times of bright light at three separate times within a ninety minute period. This flash seemed to be outside earth's atmosphere.

Many UAP's flying, stopping in midair, lighting up in a circle, changing altitude - caught on video

We have witnessed these strange lights every week in our cove, all summer and it was not until Tuesday that we realized they are not planes, satellites, drones, or any type of flying craft we are familiar with. Or at least I just realized this. My boyfriend has said all along that he did not know what it was. My boyfriend is a pilot and is quite familiar with aircraft. I thought that they were satellites all summer, until I really started paying closer attention. (I made a report last week without video, but last night I was able to capture a video and zoom in with binoculars.)

We watched 3 craft fly towards us and go dim quickly and then later at an inconsistent pace, two rose up from the tree line and went dark when I tried to video. They seemed to go dark faster this time. After they all seemed to finish going up, I stood outside for about an hour while my boyfriend watched the game inside. Nothing happened for a little while and then I witnessed what I thought were planes blinking with white lights lined up on my side of the cove and then one by one they flew back across the cove to the other side above the tree line and looked like they were coming in for a landing. This time I zoomed in with binoculars per my bf's suggestion and as I followed one of the crafts across the trees, one stopped in mid-air and stayed in place. I kept my binoculars fixated on it until it moved again. As it stayed in place, I saw a bigger white light blink 9 times and then right after that 9 lights lit up one after another in the shape of a circle or oval. It was like it was going through a sequence to get ready for something and then it started moving again closer to the trees but erratically. I was not able to capture the lights in a circle, but I did get it on video moving erratically and stopping. We have seen these consistently all summer long.

We watched many orbs of light rise above the tree line into the sky above Blue Hill Bay

Three witnesses watched many orbs rise from low above the North West tree line at about 310 degrees looking towards Blue Hill Bay. These orbs were different from the aircraft flight path and the steady steam of satellites spotted on a daily basis here very high in the night sky. They also did not resemble star link which we have all seen. We have seen these orbs many times from the porch of our house with multiple witnesses.

These objects/orbs appeared to be glowing softly rising above the trees, and as they were rising they pulsated brighter and brighter and turned either white, red or orange and then they went dark when they got up higher. Some of the orbs went straight up, while others went up and went either to the north or west. Some appeared to speed up and move erratically. It seemed that they all positioned themselves in the sky in different areas blinking very softly, which was hardly visible unless you did not look directly at them. We watched for about an hour as they rose one after another, but not in a steady manner. We did not time each one, but we must have watch for an hour and it still continued after we went inside. We did not count how many there were or what color they were, nor did we document each one's movement.

This has been a reccurring sighting for the last month or so. Off to the east this orange orb keeps coming back nightly.

We were out walking our dog heading east ward, we had seen this orb appear out of nowhere. This is a frequent sighting. At night when the sky is clear almost certain you will see something. One night it went so fast and then when it hit a small cloud it vanished. This orb will move either really slow or really fast. I am not sure what this is but it's nothing like I have seen before for an air craft. The photo and video are from two different sightings in the same area. One was moving so fast it blurred when taking the picture the other was so slow that I could record it.

Then the object came to a complete stop and started blinking green the blinking lasted about 15 min. Than the object just went straight down and vanished. No movement forward or backwards just straight down. The blinking had stopped before decent and was a green light.

Craft moved slightly alerting my eyes, then hovered for minutes after I began recording. Its erratic departure is on film.

On the evening of August 20th while in my friend’s backyard I noticed an anomaly in the northern sky. Once spotted by me its movement ceased. The UAP hovered in place for minutes. Around this same time power had gone out briefly around the river valley we reside in. Fog also was shrouding the craft, which isn’t inherently unusual within the river valley, but an hour after the encounter it was a clear night. Most nights the fog settles and stays through the next morning. Our attention was focused on the main craft to the north. Both myself and my friend concluded it seemed as though there was another craft to our east, albeit smaller. The UAP is on film for its departure from view. It zipped along in a bunch of different directions, had a long pause, then pulled back and jumped north at hypersonic speeds. We stopped filming, but the craft soon reappeared 15 or 20 miles north. It was moseying around and scaring us enough to abandon our post, especially since we had noticed the possible second phenomenon.

Highly reflective spherical object following a passenger aircraft at a high altitude

My wife and I were outside, near our cabin. I was looking up at our cabin and in my peripheral vision I noticed a very bright-appearing passenger jet flying northeast to southwest at a high altitude. I mentioned it to my wife and then we both noticed an unevenly bright object not far from it. It appeared to be keeping pace with it but because I don't know the object's size, it was hard to tell if the object was above, below or at the same altitude of the aircraft. It seemed to be keeping pace off the aircraft's starboard side and slightly behind it. The object appeared uneven in brightness possibly due to it being spherical and reflecting the sun at varying angles to our vantage point. I could not get a photo because our property is heavily wooded with only a few gaps in the tree canopy. I went inside and immediately went to the flightaware website to identify the passenger aircraft. As best as I can tell it was flight RJA261 from Amman, Jordan heading to New York's JFK for a 4:50PM arrival. It's altitude was 40,000 feet and speed was 499 MPH heading from the north-northeast to the south-southwest. No other aircraft in the area appeared to match the flight characteristics of the UFO/UAP - they were all smaller aircraft heading in differing directions, none matching or closely matching RJA261.

A self illuminated sphere of light appeared traveling from the right to the left in a strange manner with no noise and then disappeared

So I witness a round sphere of white that appears from the right side of the sky, traveling towards the left in the pathway of an airport. We have planes helicopter as a fly over this area all the time, and you can hear the noise of any proportion airplane or helicopter that goes by you can hear it. This thing had no noise And it was as bright as the star probably even brighter. It seemed to appear in the sky from nowhere, and it traveled in a very strange manner, which I ended up getting a video of this, and it all sudden blinked out. The funny thing is in the video. It doesn’t appear to be as bright in the beginning, as I saw with my own eye, but it does appear to get bright as bright as I was seeing it towards the end strange I have also seen many in this area looking out from the front side of the house traveling same way from the left side of this guy looking out the front to the right side of the sky they appear out of nowhere travel and then disappear. We see satellites we see the ISS and this is nothing like those things they move differently. They seem to appear more numbers now recently I just watched three of them almost in the same minute appear travel across the sky in the disappear. The funny thing is is we’re in an airport area. There’s a lot of planes that fly here and it’s nothing

Black what seems tethered aircraft with lights

I have seen thus numerous times,but again just a bit ago in my own back yard what appears to be a tethered black whipping around object with lights.It seems to come from out of the woods,but can be very fast,and moves around quite a bit.The left has lights from a house in back of my field.Can someone please contact me to verify what this is,as it's been close to a month of seeing this.I had drones in my yard I reported to local police earlier this month, different than this.I feel at times this can go above homes and hover if it wants to.Any clear guidance on this would be helpful as I posted a different one up in air earlier this week.I am going to attach a video as well as a picture of another odd object taken the other say same field area.

Bright light twinkling incredibly fast and moving slow

While driving on I-295 South in Lisbon, Maine I decided to look up in the sky for some reason. I saw a very bright white light that appeared to be twinkling incredibly fast. The speed of the twinkling was what made it so odd to me. There were no other lights to indicate that it might be a helicopter or plane. No blinking or pattern. It was a probably a few hundred feet up. It moved at about the same speed that I was driving. Maybe a little faster. And I basically followed it for about 30 minutes until it finally disappeared over the tree line in Falmouth.

Cylinder or capsule shaped object in the early evening sky.

I was fishing just offshore with a friend. I looked up at a jet flying over on approach to a nearby airport. I saw a bright white or silver object shaped like a medicine capsule stationary in the sky. I pointed it out to my friend and he was confused by it as well. The object appeared quite large and seemed to be within 5 miles of our location at about a 75-80 degree elevation. The plane I was looking at continued towards the airport passing between our location and the object. We continued watching the object for several minutes until it started moving. It went from stationary, to the speed of a commercial plane, over the period of a few seconds and disappeared into the distance in 1-2 minutes. Although there were very few clouds in the sky, the object traveled above the clouds as it moved away. I have Flight Radar 24 (paid "gold" version) and we checked for any aircraft in the area. The closest aircraft traffic, other than the one we saw landing, was around a small airport about 30-40 miles away. The object, besides being stationary, was too large to be 30-40 miles away. There was no sound given off be the object. Both myself and my friend are Law Enforcement.

Small spot of light, looked like a star, but then started moving

We happened to look up at the moon, which was southwest of us in the sky, while it was still light out while watching a concert at a local festival, and noticed a white light/dot to the right of the moon. It was a very small, white dot of light. At first, we thought it was a star, but then it started to move over our heads, heading north. Because of it moving, we though maybe it was a satellite with sunlight reflecting off of it. But then it stopped moving after about a minute, and we were very confused at this point. It continued to move again, but would move a little ways for 30 secs or so, and stop again for a couple of minutes. It continued to do this for 25-30 minutes, and then disappeared. Also, the trajectory didn't appear to be in a very straight line - when we initially saw it start moving, it moved out to the right away from the moon, and then veered back to the left and then went straighter from there.

I looked up at the sky at at night about a 45-60 degree angle and I saw a light in the sky form that I thought was a satellite or a plane, or a shooting star, but there was no trail, or blinking lights. It appeared, suddenly fading in, then crossing a small portion of the sky to then fade out and disappear. I have attached an image showing the path of which it took.

Heard a giant boom then saw this very bright slowly rise up behind the trees. It got faster and faster.

At exactly 21:13p EST on June 13th, 2024 I witnessed a UAP sighting. I was just arriving home from the supermarket. I was parking my car and all of a sudden heard a giant boom. Almost immediately afterwards my cell phone and car electronics both wigged out for about 30 seconds. About 2 minutes later a giant flickering ball of light slowly appeared behind the trees facing 95-100 degrees East (a straight line up the coast of Maine). It slowly kept accelerating and going higher and higher into the sky. It was going almost straight up, with a very slight angle towards the right (going towards 105-110 degrees East). After 5 minutes it disappeared. I recorded video of what I saw.

For context I am an Electrical Engineer with a passion for space exploration - especially the technology for getting humans into orbit. I am well versed in rocket engines and the distinctive characteristics of rocket launches. Why I am confused and concerned is there are no publicly known rocket launch sites within the 95-100 degree East direction of a compass. There is a rocket launch site in Caribou Maine, but that is on the complete other side of the state (30 degrees East).

Regular intervals: ≥8 lights traveled one at a time moving N to S high in atmosphere. No tail/flickering. Disappeared ⅝ way across.

While looking at an exceptionally clear sky with the naked eye, I noticed a steady single light (mostly white, slight blue tint) traveling from North to South across the sky. I noted it immediately because it was (1) not blinking and had no tail, and (2) was slightly larger than I'd expect for an object in apparently upper atmosphere but seemed closer than most satellites I observe. The speed too seemed slightly incongruous though steady with usual evening observations at this location. Continuing to watch it closely, I noticed it completely disappear about ⅝ of the way across the sky, traveling directly overhead. Conditions were clear and I could see plenty of stars all around this location. It did not reappear along the trajectory. I believe, but am not certain of the first few I observed, that the lights became slightly smaller as they were about to disappear (as if traveling further out of the atmosphere.)

Almost immediately, I noticed another light do exactly the same thing. Again, disappearing about ⅝ away across directly overhead but not in exactly the same spot.

At this point, I got another individual to join me in my observations (missing observations for about 3 minutes.) While waiting for them as they got close to arriving, I observed a further three lights each go across the sky as aforementioned. Some deviated slightly more than others in trajectory, so it wasn't exact but it was very close. At this point it became clear that a new light was roughly starting to appear from below the horizon as the previous light reached a position roughly ⅜ of the way to directly overhead.

With a second observer, we watched a further three or four incidents just as aforementioned. There is a chance the last may have changed directions milliseconds before disappearing, but I am not positive of that (by the last few, as I'd gotten used to their pattern, I was definitively noticing they were getting smaller/fainter as they were about to disappear, so noticing deviations in direction was difficult in the last moments.)

The lights were moving too quickly for the telescope I have to have a chance to spot them, and were too far away to capture on my cameras. I am very much an amateur, but spend a lot of time observing the night sky and am used to seeing and identifying meteors, satellites, the ICC, and have seen what Starlink looks like; the observation tonight seemed different. I checked the 'night sky' app and https://adsbexchange.com/, and did not see any scheduled crafts traveling in the area. I do not know when the lights started (I noticed them almost as soon as I looked directly overhead) and unfortunately did not mark the time when it began and ended. I would estimate it all occurred within the 22:40-22:50 EDT period.

Saw craft with low light move quick across are observe. Then it look as if it turned on thrusters to push itself away into space

My son looks up said I see a mover. We look then we take a laser green and point it. Soon as the laser in on object it starts to speed up. With that speed you start to see its Glow gets a little bigger and then all of a sudden, the glow starts to dim out as the object appears to be moving into space and away from us in our location but more of an up direction. About 30 seconds to a minute half after that, we see it airplane jet that is doing the same flight line as the UFO, there was no indication of flights on the radar or flight 24 app. There’s no indication of satellites and there’s no indication that it was the international space station because it went overhead an hour before hand and we track that on an app also

Appeared continuously for 2.5 hours did not appear in any other areas of the sky besides directly above the lighthouse.

Trying to catch the northern lights at Nubble lighthouse in York, Maine and we we’re out on the rocks watching the sky. I notice what I thought was a shooting star. Then I noted two more after that. My boyfriend saw the second ones. These were seen in the part of the sky that was directly above the lighthouse. There were no northern lights visible either and the sky was completely clear. We continued watching that part of the sky and realized every minute or so 1-3 objects would dart out of the sky and they were going in a zig zag patter in multiple different directions. They were not staying straight in one direction like a shooting star. I thought I was crazy and then a group of guys next to us piped up and said they say them to! We continued watching this till 12:16am at that location. We watched other part of the sky as well to see if we could see anything and they were only appearing above the lighthouse the whole time. We use binoculars and they seemed more cylindrical than star shaped. We then left that sight and drove to Cape Nedick to see if we could see them and the sky was completely clear but it was only stars and there was no activity. We drove back to nubble light around 1:11am to see if it was still happening. I got out of the car and wishing 5 minutes of watching the same area in the sky we started to see the zig zagging lights again in the same exact location continuously until we left at 1:36am. There was a couple guys with cameras on tripods set up pointing at the light house and I asked if they noticed and they hadn’t but I explained what we had seen and while I was explaining 2 zigged across the sky and they were able to see them! One of the guys actually got so freaked out he left. The other guy stayed and he was taking time lapse photos when they would flash by to see if he could capture the streak and the photo came up without the object in it at all. He said he thought it was strange because when he sees shooting stars he able to capture them but these he could not. These things would go across the sky in a zig zag almost like they were racing and they would appear and then just disappear into the darkness. I have never experienced anything like this ever but it was amazing.

Driving, saw an enormous star. Started to move, then got huge and flew right over the road in front of my car.

I had been watching a friends dog, and was driving their Jeep back to Bangor from their home in Levant. I saw what looked like an ENORMOUS star. I thought maybe it was a new windmill I hadn’t seen or something on top of a pole that I hadn’t seen before in the area. I remember thinking it was way too high up to be that.

Thing started to move like a plane, but it was incredibly bright and incredibly large. It got a lot bigger and faster but kept the same pace, then flew right over the road in front of the car very fast. I didn’t have time to pull over but freaked out and took what I could for pictures while slamming on the brakes at about 45 MPH.

On my way home, I spotted two glowing, bright, and slightly amber illuminations. One dropped down very quickly to just above the tree line, while the other remained hovering higher in the sky. They both hovered for several minutes, before quickly darting off toward the foothills. In person, they just appeared to be bright orbs, but in the pictures I took they almost appear disc-shaped.

3 orb like lights flashing in color and hovering in place before moving south one at a time

Leaving dinner and caught a bright red and green flashing light out the right side of the vehicle. Drove 2 miles and able to observe the first light move to the right where it aligned with 2 similar lights, of which were hovering and not moving. The first observed light moved back towards the right and then forward south. The back light moved straight back and forth then remained still. The middle light did not move. Similar to a drone but no noise was noted and much higher than a drone and very precise movement - no erratic movements.

A growing, lengthening shaft of light, that appeared to be going up in the sky (as opposed to the way a meteor moves).

Husband and wife out walking the dog at 6:24pm on 12/19/23. Avid skywatchers, we were looking up at the clear sky, when we spotted a smallish light in the western sky that looked “different”. We watched it lengthen - to give an idea of its width, from our perspective, it looked like a short pencil line. It looked almost like an ASCENDING fireball - definitely going up, not down! It appeared to be at the same altitude as planes flying overhead - 30,000 - 40,000 feet. Both have experience as trained observers, and after decades of sky watching, have not seen anything like this before. Checked flight app on phone, nothing. Checked with Starlink launches, etc., and that didn’t appear to fit either, although there was a Starlink launch the night before, in Cape Canaveral (2000 miles south of us). Having seen Starlink in the past, it looked nothing like that to us. AND, Starlink didn’t just “disappear” the way this one did.

Unfortunately, being nighttime, the video doesn’t give a good perspective for the viewer to judge distance, altitude, etc.. The surrounding land is wooded and sparsely populated. After zooming in a few seconds into the video, we attempted to keep the camera as steady as possible, to show the movement of the object. (We are including the second video, attempting to photograph the object disappearing. It shows up on the phone, not so much when it’s translated to this computer.). Its trajectory was “straight up”, or appeared to be, from where we were standing (on a mountain in the midcoast region of Maine). After observing for about 1-1.5 minutes, the object seemed to “fade out” and disappear. There was very slight cloudiness here and there in the sky, however, if this object had gone behind a cloud, it theoretically would have emerged at some point. We stood outside for several minutes after the sighting, until it was apparent that it was not going to reemerge.

Spotted a Craft this morning.

Some sort of craft came close to where I was in Albion, Maine today. It came down just 150 to 200 meters above some nearby trees and it was using some sort of cloaking tech because it was using all of the surrounding colors to shield its appearance and I could taste a metalic taste and I could feel a tingling in my stomach and the craft did not seem to make any sound that I could hear but the birds and animals all around were not making any sound at all for the minute or so before and after this thing came through here. I kept waiting in expectation of a logical explanation. None came. I believe there's something besides us now.

The weird part was it was already moving at significant speed when it appeared. Also appeared to be fully unwaveringly illuminated the whole time with no trails or dissapation. Traveled ~15 inches across the sky in ~2 seconds, from East to West at a downward trajectory. It looked like it was a mile or so away. Disappeared just as quickly. Did not appear to fizzle out, just disappeared.

I have seen hundreds of shooting stars, it was NOT a shooting star.

It was of a size that if it was an object, it was large enough to be seen on radar.

While driving I witnessed approximately 20 bright white lights in a diagonal line (at about a 45 degree angle) across the sky. They appeared to be about as high as an airplane would fly. Maybe higher. They looked like bright stars (white lights) but much closer than stars. They were equally spaced apart. I pulled over to watch them and they began to slowly move (maintaining their equal distance apart from each other) from their diagonal line into a straight vertical line. The top light then started to move a little bit away from the others straight off the top of the line and then all of a sudden it shot off and away from the others. Then the next light would do the same. When they shot off it was so fast that it looked like a shooting star and disappeared. Each one of the lights followed suit until they were all gone.

Floating rectangle with 3 lights

Last night, I had a wtf moment, still not sure what to make of it. I have never seen anything I could not identify before. I've been outside day and night my whole life, never seen anything strange. On my way home from Portland around 630pm or so, I was about halfway home and south of Windham a few miles, on a dark two lane road through rolling small hills, no shoulder, forest on each side with sometimes trees hanging over the road. In a break of the trees, out my front windshield at about my 1 o'clock and above the tree tops, I saw a vertical object just floating in the sky (it was not moving) about 1k ft in the air, maybe a little lower. It was hard to tell how far away it was from me but probably less than 1/4 mile. Because it was hard to tell how far away it was it’s hard to tell how big it was but im guessing it was between the size of a Chevy Suburban and a city bus, maybe bigger if it was standing on its end. It was backlit at the top like there was a light behind it and then facing me were 3 lights in a vertical row and I believe they dimmed and brightened in sequence. Because of the light behind it I could see the outline of it so i could tell it was an elongated rectangle. It happened fast, I couldn’t stop and take a photo, by the time it registered in my mind I was under the tree canopy again and a hundred feet or so down the road and I also thought I may see it again but there were too many trees. There are no radio towers out here and it def wasn’t a balloon, a plane, a helicopter or a drone.

star like but not

myself and my fiancée were out watching the stars .... it was a clear evening with multiple satellites and aircraft going over.
Being from the UK im used to light pollution so this was very special - no light pollution at all!

my attention was drawn to what at first appeared to be a satellite - it was about 30 degrees above the horizon and was brighter than previous satellites. It was traveling from the NW towards the North at a 'normal' satellite speed.
However - it was bouncing / jumping up and down. I would describe it as having a similar appearance to a trace from an ECG monitor.

I asked my fiancée if she was seeing the same as me and she confirmed that she was.

i know what a satellite looks like - i know what starlink looks like. I work at an airport and am familiar with all known aircraft.
I have no idea what this was......

And there was also to the right of it miles away I saw one blinking red and green. Of course you think plane but i took a video of this on a clear clear day, over a field. The first one moves alot and the second one disappears and moves. It's a need to watch.

2 adult men saw 2 bright objects, each appearing similar to but larger than full moon

Looking to the north from parking lot, at about 45 degree angle inclination off horizon, two large moonlike bright round objects, same color and shape as full moon but larger, about the same brigthtness as full moon on a clear night, were seen blinking at each other at same altitude. (Objects separated by apparent distance of 5 in.as measured between thumb and forefinger at arm's length). Estimated distance several miles? Not sure. The two objects did not appear to be connected but seemed to be blinking to one another possibly in communication or coordinated somehow. One witness was frightened and went indoors immediately after seeing the objects. The other witness watched the objects for several minutes. A separate object was seen in the sky during this sighting, it was a LifeFlight helicopter according to the witness who had stayed to watch. After the LifeFlight helicopter left the area toward the west, the two large round blinking objects soon blinked out and did not reappear. There was no sound associated with the blinking large objects although the LifeFlight helicopter had made normal helicopter sounds. Moon was not in the sky at time of sighting, had set around 3 pm and was due to rise after 11 pm. Witness is 62 years of age, does not drink alcohol. He did not have his glasses with him, but could see the round objects quite easily because of their brightness and large round shape. He thought it appeared like "two full moons" even though he knew it was not that, and even though the moon would have been in the southern sky so he knew that was impossible. He doesn't believe he had any problem of "double vision."

The craft made no noise and disappeared after we looked away.

The craft was first noticed by one of the people I was with. We had driven to a state park I forgot the name of. It was something along the lines of “fairy beach” or “fairy road”. “Fairy beach” could have been the name of the beach we were on when we saw it. When I first saw it I thought it was a plane or a kite or maybe a balloon, however, it wasn’t making any noise and it was rotating the opposite direction of me and to my 11 o’clock (end over end and side over side), aka front left. It was rotating quite slowly and it was a shiny silver chrome color. Light seemed to be reflecting off of it but the light didn’t extend beyond the border of the object itself. The light was constant without even a slight flicker or pulse. I looked away to ask if someone could take a picture of it and when I did it caused them to look away too. We didn’t get a picture because one of their phones had died and the other had a broken camera. That, I believe, is why none of us saw it disappear until it was gone which I pointed out to the others. The entire time the craft made no noise and I trust that we wouldn’t have seen it if one of the others hadn’t looked that direction for 30 seconds longer. I don’t think it could have been much more than one thousand feet in the air.

To the naked eye I thought it may be a hot air balloon, but it was extremely high and it was getting dark out. Once I took the picture, I was able to zoom in and see that it didn’t resemble a hot air balloon. After about 20 minutes it was too high to see.

Large enough to look like a planet, we saw an orb hovering above and slightly to the right of the moon.

Seemed ‘normal’ for a couple minutes until it started a steady descent straight down, halfway to the horizon line. It then stopped, hovered, in one place, reducing size for about 30 seconds before it disappeared.

No visible trail. No wavering. Movement seemed direct and with intent.

Very odd indeed.

The craft had a bright white light I thought it was a star when I looked out the window of my door but noticed it was way to close it did not make a sound but as it flew over my house it made a turn to go parallel to my home as it passed over my property and flashing lights on both side flying very low to the ground close enough to make out the bottom of it where there where less bright lights around the object. As I said it did not make a sound if it was a plan you would here the engines that low to the ground or a helicopter would have been loud but it could have been a stealth helicopter military grade but why would they be observing me. They hovered for 2 minutes just above the tree tops looking straight at me and when I went to the window it took off in about a minute and a half flew straight at me turning to avoid my home.

I got up early in hopes to see the meteor shower. It was a clear night partial moon. I didn't see any meteors, but saw a couple satellites and 2 jets passing over. When I spotted what I thought was another moving satelite, it did a u turn and did several elipses. Occasialy it would move back and forth. It didn't move out of perhaps I'm guessing a 1/4 to 1/2 a degree. It was the same brightness and size as the satellites I observed earlier. I judged the speed of its movement to be approximately as that of the other satellites. I observed this for about 30 minutes.

I glanced back to the derby, and then looked up again. The object was gone, but then reappeared. I looked back at the derby again, and when I checked again, the object was gone. Something i've never seen before, not from this world

Came out of my garage. Look to the left and I saw about 8 lights. Going from the sky down to THE ground, they would get bright and then they would get dimmer, they would get bright and then dimmer, and there was 3 flying around the other ones, not making any sound very quiet I've never seen anything like it before in my life. Then all of a sudden, they got real bright, and they all disappeared.

Almost looked like a caterpillar formation. Did not appear to me that they were that high in elevation. Had my hot tub running so I did not hear any sound. Same line of flight that I saw a group of aircraft flying single file spaced out one or two to a slot, that was about 20 aircraft and was early morning earlier this spring. Again, I assume both of these instances were military aircraft.

Saw what i thought was an odd color star (blueish green). Looked with binoculars and realized it was some type of craft very very slowly moving in sky over tree line while looking south east. Blue green red white and yellow lights flashing and rotating. Almost as if it were spinning. We watched it for about 30 minutes. (First noticed through living room window so we went outside to get better look). We used binoculars and put our camera up to the eyepiece to get a picture though it didn't come out really well. We got 2 pictures that show some type of strange light/lights. In one picture you can see a star above in the frame. No sound that we could hear.It slowly moved away (south) and eventually went behind clouds appearing less bright until we could no longer see it. A plane actually flew past it while we were watching. Not really close but in same field of view.

Very unusual. We plan on setting up our telescope tomorrow night to see if it returns.

Hovering bright light with satellite lights expelling from it

At 4:11 am, I noticed a very bright, clear light moving through the sky. At first I thought it might be a plane but then realized it was moving far too fast. I woke my husband up when I noticed it began hovering in mostly the same spot, with the exception of some zigzagging for the next two hours until we could no longer see it with the morning light. The entire time, other smaller lights appeared to emanate and break away from the larger light source. Some leaving at a high rate of speed until vanishing and others circling nearby before returning. The main light source was also disappearing and re-emerging in the same spot. We aren’t sure if that was from clouds obscuring our vision but the sky seemed mostly clear to us. At times, there appeared to be some type of spot light or haze coming from the main source of light.

A bright gold light (looked like a star but much brighter) moved across the sky unnaturally and then went out

I was walking from my dining hall to Russel Hall at USM to go to a theatre rehearsal. It was the tail end of dusk and I could see other stars in the sky and out of nowhere a bright gold light appeared in the sky, it looked like a star but it was very bright. It was too high to be a drone, and it moved too strangely to be a plane, satellite, or a shooting star. It moved straight across the sky about 30 feet and the way it moved was extremely unnatural, it was almost like it was on an invisible axis with no wind resistance. I wish I could articulate better how it moved but I've never seen anything like it in my life. And then without warning the light just went out and there was no evidence or trail that it had been in the sky at all. I looked around to see if anyone else had saw it- there were a few people walking out of the dining hall and someone going to their dorm but they were all looking at their phone or talking to each other and nobody else saw it. This is a very routine walk for me and I haven't done any drugs or anything out of the norm that would've made me seen it.

UFO hovering above the trees behind our condo.

I went out to get the mail at the communal mailboxes. As I was going back to my place, I noticed an object hovering above the tree line. It was about 20 feet wide, eight feet tall. Had two bright lights on it. One of the lights was directed at me. The UFO was not moving. Just hovering rock steady. Made no noise at all. I watched it for about two minutes. It was about 220 feet away from me at an altitude of about 110 feet. The sky was perfectly clear.
I didn't have my phone/camera with me. But luckily, I am a digital artist. I stared at the UFO for about two minutes. I wanted to get all of the info about its shape so I could draw it later. I made a couple of images of the craft. But your terms are preventing me from submitting them.
Craft had a base that was about two feet thick. The two lights (like spot lights) were mounted on the base which was a dark brown color. The top of the craft had "bell curve" shape to it. White in color. There was one panel on the top shape that had a very shiny metallic shine to it. About 2/3 of the way up the metallic panel was a yellow light. There was a "haze" around the left side of the craft. The right side of the craft, which was facing the setting sun, was perfectly clear. No haze.
Stared at the craft for two minutes. I took my eyes off the craft just for a split second. When I looked back at it, it was gone.
Me: Recently retired digital artist. Age: 66.
Excellent eye sight.

Silent, high altitude fast moving.

My toddler thought she spotted a bird and pointed to myself and her mother a football shaped object passing just below the high-thin cirrus cloud layer. I observed the object as I observed many in my 20 year military career at sea. This was not a drone or hobby grade RC… as I am an RC pilot I can confirm that with certainty. The sunset backlit the object so it appeared nearly black in color but a few times a “shine” or “gleam” of light could be seen. The travel speed and trajectory were very deliberate. The altitude was high and the object was going at least double the speed of a commercial airliner. No wings, no mechanical motion and no exhaust were present. No noise what so ever was heard. We watched from horizon to horizon as the object passed from roughly southwest to northeast (left to right) across our view.

Two solid lights moving in unison, one fluctuating in luminosity.

About 10:45pm, not sure the exactly as I was pacing holding a 2 year old who wouldn't sleep.
Viewing out north facing over sized windows I saw two lights roughly 4 degrees apart moving in unison from northwest to southeast at a slow rate roughly 5 degrees every 8 to 10 seconds. The lights were solid and did not blink or flicker. The lights were aligned north to south and the south light gained intensity for about 5 seconds at a time twice during my observation going from about the luminosity of Saturn to something more like Jupiter or even Venus then fading back out. The north light remained a consistent Saturn type luminosity. The south light did seem more amber when it was at its brightest. I could be wrong due to my color blindness, but it was definitely not white though this was harder to tell once it dimmed. It was harder to tell the color of the north light due to its brightness. I called my wife over to see it, and though she didn't witness the fluctuations of luminosity of the south light she did see the lights before they went out of view.

Saw light traveling from south to north than other lights from east to west with one coming to a stop and reverse direction than disapp

Lights were not airplane as I also saw several of them on they are totally different the lights I have question about were star like only moving very quickly one changing direction and fly to the stars and then just disappear

We were chilling and saw irregular moving lights, many of them moving over the forest and disappearing. Then an hour later they fly back

We were chilling and saw irregular moving lights, many of them, going over the forest and disappearing. They came solo or in pairs and they had a range of different lights from red-yellow-green-blue. At first, they flew around in weird patterns then would go over the forest. Then an hour later they fly back over in groups of 3.
