I was playing baseball outside when my dad was looking at the sky weirdly when we say a small black to shiny line slowly gliding

While I was hitting baseballs in my backyard my dad was oddly looking at the sky. When he showed it to me we saw a black and at times shiny line slowly gliding across the sky for about 2-4 minutes between 5-5:30 pm. After about 1 minute I went inside to grab my binoculars and when I came back outside it was still there. When we both tried to look through the binoculars we couldn’t see it. Eventually I saw become gray instead of black and then we couldn’t find it again. I am writing this report a few hours after the fact when my dad found out there were no weather balloons in the area at the time

Object moving overhead in the shape of a boomerang/triangle

While watching the lunar eclipse, four teenagers witnessed a triangle/boomerang-shaped object in the sky above their home. They had difficulty determining the distance of the object from the ground, as they had trouble focusing their eyes on its exact range. The object appeared to be "about the size of a car," and moved in silence at a constant speed from south to north, disappearing behind a large pine tree. Two of the witnesses claimed that the object made two passes overhead, but that both times it moved from south to north. Because they looked away to get the attention of the other two teens with them, the first two witnesses cannot be sure if it was the same object that looped around and did a second fly-by, or if it was two separate objects travelling in the same direction (but not seen together). The object traveled "point-first," with a less defined/wavy tail. The witnesses had difficulty describing the color of the craft, stating it had the properties of a jellyfish that looked pink or blue. All agreed that it had an overall pearlescent quality that made it difficult to describe in terms of a color. They all noted that the object blocked out the stars behind it, which helped them identify its basic shape. One witness said that after it disappeared behind the pine tree, it appeared to backtrack a little, as if peaking from behind the tree at them, before disappearing entirely.

I looked up and saw a craft that was v shaped had possibly ten lights underneath and a single light on the front left of the craft

I was on my back deck late at night trying to grill some sausages when I look up at the stars because it was late and they looked nice , to my surprise I saw what could have been a formation of multiple craft or a single large v shaped craft ( just like the one from the Vegas incident) , it had soft, very bright glowing lights assorted in a v shape underneath I couldn’t count how many but there was also a single light on the front left of the craft , we saw it fly for 4 seconds before It literally vanished in front of us, 3 people saw it in including myself that we know of so far it happened at around 11:30

7 spheres that looked like stars lined up in a perfect line.

I was driving to work. It was pitch dark outside and I noticed that the usual constellation stars had additional bright lights in them. I've never seen them before. It started with 4 lights, two of them are always there in the sky. But the other two were new and out of place. I kept looking while I was driving and saw two more lights appear. That alone is not that significant, except all the lights were perfectly aligned from the horizon to about 45 degrees. All together there were 7 bright lights that were straight as an arrow in 4 groupings: 1 light, then a space, another light. and a space, then 2 lights equally spaced, then three more lights. All the lights in this formation of seven were bright, not pulsing, round and were stationary. I watched it for 4-5 minutes while driving. Them all the lights dimmed and vanished. They just faded away in a few seconds.

in the western sky, there was a sequence of nine bright, white dots, and after those were gone, there was a singular bright color changing dot up very high in the sky that you could see with your naked eye, and it was videoed, and that’s where you can see that it was definitely changing multiple colors.

Military activity. Helicopters first, Snoop36 tonight.

After seeing Snoop36 is what we heard/felt tonight at a very low altitude for size, wondered why they were checking radiation here. Nearest reactor is far away & not light blue there on RadNet like Des Moines as of tonight. Very loud helicopters had rumbled over low very early this morning, or yesterday morning?? Sorry, was like 3/4-ish am? Tonight's flight path was a bit odd. I used to work for America West/US Airways, before & after West bought them out but kept their name. I wish I had thought to capture when it was less that 4,000 near here, but 9,325 was the highest I snapshotted on radar between here and Offutt. So not sure if Ft. Dodge or Marshalltown was originating officially because of said oddness, but neither is a usual for said aircraft base of operation tonight.

I saw something in the sky that I’ve never seen before

My mother and I were walking my dog that evening. She motion for me to look in the sky ahead of us. I looked up and saw a large reddish colored sphere with a yellowish trail streaming across perpendicularly about 200 yards in front of me and a couple hundred feet off the ground. It appeared to be in a controlled ditching or semi controlled steep descent. It was sort of a sphere shape in front larger than a helicopter, but with what looked like a tail of sorts longer than an airplane. It didn’t make any noise and we were right below it. We saw something that didn’t make any sense.

3 lights making a triangle gateway allowing multiple crafts to pass or a cloaked ship

4 sets of 3 odd starry lights hung in the sky. Each light kept an equal distance forming a triangle that stayed mostly in the same position for hours but slowly moving east. As multiple crafts entered or exited.

Distance between a b c unknown. To estimate at least a mile. Light or craft would appear in a proximit sum equal to distance of a b c. Brighten and speed up passing through ABC. With a green falling star like trail ending at the horizon of .AB AC or CB.

This happend for hours till almost sunrise where randomly a b or c would fall out of position, darken then start blinking common navigation lights.

Furthermore a shiny metallic stone about 1"d was found laying on top of dirt from a recent dug post hole. The stone has continuity similar to that of of dopeded silica. Very light. Will scratch porcelain glass and black obsidian. I believe it to be a super conductor. Also noting the air temperature was -8⁰f.

White and red light flying parallel to Mississippi River from East to West

First sighting approx 0455 saw light flying white in front red in back. Just laid back down in bed from using bathroom. Bedroom and living room face the Mississippi River. Saw object flying rather low, approx 45 degree angle from horizon, maybe 1000ft above trees over island in river, did not advance in height as planes do in this area leaving airport. Flying east to west. Lights were large for airplane, but I thought maybe it was due to it being much closer to ground than planes are known to be flying in this area. Did blow it off as an airplane and tried to go back to sleep, unsuccessful. Got up to watch the news.

Approx 0645 saw the same object with same white and red lights flying at same level parallel to Mississippi River as the first set of lights. This time I got up to get better look. Went outside on our deck with binoculars. There was no sound, the object began slowing down as it was flying past our house. I was hoping to be able to see what kind of plane was flying that low. The white and red lights changed to just red light. When it got past our house approx the end of the island in the river the light stopped and just hovered. I was unable to see what kind of object it was through my binoculars all I could tell was that it was a large red light blinking slowly. I tried to change positions to get a better look and then the light was gone. This time my husband saw the entire sighting along with me. I looked up departing flights from MLI airport, which there was departing flights close to times I saw the lights both times. First flight was going to Charlotte and second flight was going to Chicago. Both flights would have been headed east, not west.

Multiple lights visible every night in the same place in the western sky for 9 days straight.

The lights initially looked like stars being hidden by a cloud bank, but then reappeared after a short time and Venus was not being covered by clouds which caused me to look at the sky more intently. I then noticed them moving. The first night I noticed them was 1/12/25 around 8:30pm was I was near the town of Sheffield, IA. I have seen regular satellites and the Starlink satellites and these were not satellites. They also did not have flashing lights like normal aircraft should. A single, steady light would brighten (but never really brighter than Venus) and then fade to black within a few moments. My son was watching them as well and since we were in the truck we decided to head west to try to get a closer look. On the way we called a couple of friends that lived west of us and they saw the lights too. We traveled approximately 30 miles west to the town of Kanawha observing the lights the whole time. They were still west of us at Kanawha and it did not seem like we were gaining on them so we gave up and went home. The lights were seen by us and/or the other witnesses every night up until 1/20/25 when we stopped going outside to look. On 1/19/25 we drove to West Bend, IA and again saw the lights in the western sky at West Bend. My son stayed back home at Meservey and saw them as well. Another friend also saw them in the western sky when he was traveling between Iowa Falls and Hampton, IA. They would appear between 8 and 9pm generally peaking around 8:30pm. Sometimes only one was seen and we saw as many as 5 at one time. Sometimes they appeared to fly in a formation and other times just random. There was never any sound, but that is to be expected when they were so far away. Sometimes they were low on the horizon, but never seemed to get about 30 degrees above the horizon. They would move vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. We would also see regular aircraft in the same vicinity and checked the FlightTracker app, but no aircraft matched what we were seeing.

Once we realized they were at least 50+ miles away and we were watching them move a few degrees in the sky I did some geometry and estimated they were traveling 1000+ mph. This obviously rules out drones and all civilian aircraft. We have more videos, but these are the better ones.

We left hawarden around 830 pm, and saw a massive light way too low to be a plane or helicopter. No flashing indicators or rotor lights. Watched as it flashed insanely bright until it dimmed to a tiny I mean barely visible dot. Then bam it was there bright as ever slowly cruising up the interstate. I could make out a main squarish light as the “headlight” and multiple smaller lights that if you looked close enough appeared to form a ring and almost seemed window like.

Mass with surrounding light ring seen through clouds above moon from ground 1/7/25 10:02pm

A mass appeared overhead, above the moon in the sky. Attempted to record video but phone video was unusable. A photo of it shows details better. Round or circular light with ring of bright orb/ball shaped lights illuminating it, circling around it. Yellow/soft white colors/described as not as bright itself compared to light from moon but changing in its brightness, either as if moving in place or due to cloud cover/light pollution from moon. Stayed in area for at least 5 minutes then disappeared.

I was driving home on the highway when I noticed a pretty bright ball of light in the sky which I could not identify

I was driving home on the highway at night and I noticed an unusually bright “ball” that was emitting light, in the sky. Originally I thought it could just a star but I continued to watch it and realized there were no other visible stars at this time, and the light was clearly in the earths atmosphere. I thought maybe it could be a plane, or a drone e.t.c but there was no blinking, it was one color, and you could not see movement indicating the usual aviation technology, it was however moving. I continued to watch it and as far as I could tell it was moving with the speed/direction, of the cars on the highway. It was not going up or down or sideways, and it was not slowing down or speeding up(from what I could see) you almost couldn’t pin point it moving because it was almost as if it had become one with the atmosphere, not “interrupting” it like a helicopter/drone/plane. After watching it for about 6 minutes I stopped my car at a stop sign to see if it was truly moving, and it was. I then turned north to go home and could see that it was continuing to follow the highway I was previously on, it was clearly not a star in space. All I could see was that it was light, I couldn’t see any craft or propellers or anything it was just a white light, and from what I could see it in the shape of a ball. Not a perfect ball with a clear surface, but how are eyes usually perceive light, with a fuzzy outer area.

I was waiting to board flight at CID airport and I noticed a large object in the distance. At first thought an incoming plane but then after a minute it didn’t seem to move and no light. I got out of the boarding line because I thought this was strange and took the two pictures. There ended up being a maintenance issue on the plane so we had to get off after about an hour and I saw the object was gone. I even asked some of the ground crew if they knew what it could be and they had no idea.

I was driving to work on black Friday morning having left sac city i turned onto the highway towards auburn lake view. About 5 min in i noticed a line of 7 lights stretching across the sky from the horizon to about 1/3 up. The lights were as bright as the biggest stars in the sky if not physically bigger by appearance. The second light in line suddenly sped perpendicular to the rest stopping 5 degrees away from the rest holding position. I kept sight of them until auburn and they never moved from their spot in the sky. After I hit the curve 4 miles from auburn I lost sight of the part of the sky. Turning my auburn i regained my view of the sky and they had disappeared leaving only the normal night sky.

Golden light was stationary for long period of time and then began flying east where a 2nd & 3rd light emerged golden & red

I got up out of bed approx 2130 to use bathroom where I saw a very large light, bright enough to reflect its light on the water. I thought it strange to see the moon in that direction so I got up to our sliding glass door, that is when I saw what looked to be a very large star flickering, low to the ground, just above the trees (there is an island in the middle of the Mississippi River that is full of trees). After watching it for a few minutes, (I thought it to be very beautiful) (my cat wouldn't go outside, she always takes every opportunity to go out no matter the time of day) it began moving to the East, following the river. It was not moving extremely slow like the one I saw in May, it was moving slightly faster than a helicopter. There was no noise. As it was moving by, I saw another golden light emerge to the side of it and then a 3rd light to the side of the 2nd light, but the light was red. I watched it fly along the river and then cross over to the Iowa side. I ran to the front of the house, but could not see it any longer. I did not take a video of this sighting, I just didn't think of it. I do have video of the sighting in May and the sighting last month during the full moon in which we were supposed to be able to see the comet not to far from Venus.

5 white lights in chevron formation

I saw 4 sightings in a 10 minute span. I assumed it was the same craft circling.
The 1st time multiple lights (5 or 6) overhead that did not seem to be one craft. They sort of danced on the air. The 2nd sighting a minute or so later was a uniform chevron formation of 5 lights. The 3rd and 4th were the same. The only difference was in the 4th time was going in the opposite direction. The first 3 were coming NW to SE, the last was SE to NW. The lights were solid, single white color, and no sound. I use phone apps: Flight tracker 24 and heavens above to track airplanes and satellites, there were none in the area at the time. I was able to get a picture of the 3rd sighting as it flew straight over me.

Hovering over the Mississippi River near comet or planet

Went outside to view full moon and comet, found 3 lights shaped of triangle blinking green and red, on video looks like a solid white light. The Comet (or planet, there was no tail) was at horizon to the southwest (Illinois side of the Mississippi River). The lights were higher in the sky to the west changing color from green to red every second or 2. After approx. 6-7 minutes it flew quickly to the north a little and stopped, at this time I could see the green in the video. After about a minute it flew off to the north and downward. Could not see anymore due to the trees.

Large Silent Black Hot Dog or Cigar Shaped Object with 8 Pairs of Lights - One Pair Shutting Off During Flight

Estimated arc of travel is a point between Manly & Kensett, Iowa, traveling SE across Plymouth, Iowa.

I exited the north facing service door of our garage, in order to feed a outdoor semi feral cat, and proceeded to walk down a sidewalk that extends along the east and north sides of the garage to the west driveway. As a I turned the northeast corner of the garage I immediately noticed a series of bright lights arcing across the sky in a NW to SE direction.

I first assumed this was a series of meteors (1), but they were arranged in a uniform pattern of 8 pairs of lights with uniform spacing between the pairs of lights. The lights were also embedded within a black hot dog shaped objected, which was darker than the sky (2).

I briefly took my eye off the lights to see if the cat was in her usual waiting place outside and when I looked at the object again the second pair of lights was now off (3). The cat was waiting in her usual place and she proceeded to follow me to the rear service door so she could stay the night in the garage for safety. The cat did not seem to affected by the object and acted normal.

The object made no sound and there was no visible exhaust trails. A Mercy One emergency helicopter regularly travels across Plymouth in NW to NE trips between Mason City, Iowa, and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Even though this object was at a higher elevation than the helicopter usually travels is was much wider and was traveling at a slower speed. The helicopter can also be heard as it approaches Plymouth.

We also have a small crop duster plane in the area that operates in the daytime and occasionally makes turns over the town during his work. This object was traveling considerably slower than a crop duster, in a slow leisurely pace.

We have occasional National Guard jets that fly in this area leave contrails. The jets are seen as tiny specks in the sky. This object was much larger and flying lower than jet but not as low as a medical helicopter or a crop dusting plane.

Upon returning outside with a camera the object was no longer visible.

Large grey orb hovering silently headin east

This grey orb-like object was first noticed directly above us and kind of looked like a flock of birds but there was no movement aside from the direction. It was almost as if it had some sort of cloaking as it was hard to focus the eyes on it. It was totally silent and steadly moved at the same pace to the east. It wasnt until a plane very high up crossing to the north crossed in front of the object that i realized it was much larger and higher up that i had thought. Stationary floating black object in the sky

Driving with spouse and two kids westbound on highway 3 between Marcus, IA and Remsen, IA, between 8:00-8:30 am. North of the highway are all corn or soybean fields, interspersed with large wind turbines. I am driving and look to my right and see a large black object floating in the sky, roughly at the height of the windmill blade tips. The windmills are scattered across the farmland. The weather was sunny and clear. The object spherical, but with a tip at the bottom. I thought it may have been a hot air balloon as its shape was similar. My spouse saw the object also. However, it didn't make sense to fly a hot air balloon in the middle of a field of wind turbines. It was also charcoal or black colored, which I have never seen a hot air balloon that color. The road is slightly hilly. I watched it as I drove until the geography obstructed our view. It did not appear to move, which if a hot air balloon had found itself amongst wind turbines, it likely would have landed. I didn't see a basket or any sort of tethering to the ground, but it had that upside down tear drop shape. It appeared to shine in the sun somewhat. Object was a few miles away, maybe 2-4. It looked smaller than the turbine blades, which are ~150 feet, so it was maybe 50-75 feet in diameter and slightly more in height. No other traffic in the area.

20 foot drone-like box.

PILOT STATUS. I was a private pilot, and I was cleared to fly solo. I had "officially" logged about 20 hours in my own Cessna 172 with my flight instructor. I also owned a Piper Warrior II, and an ultralight model of a Piper Cub. I have flown a Rotax-driven powered parachute, and have owned and flown four different powered paragliders.

SCIENTIST STATUS. I have a doctorate in financial management. I published my dissertation, which debunked a very popular financial model that won a Nobel Prize. The model I debunked was called the Mean Variance Hypothesis. I have a Masters degree as well. I work in the areas of A.I. and algorithms, banking and digital currency creation, and venture capital. Although I do not call myself a scientist, due to the financial nature of my practitioner's work, I had to take the same statistics courses and write my dissertation using the scientific method in the same manner as all of the other scientists.

ANECDOTAL REPORT. I was driving my car South on Highway 17, just South of Eagle Grove, the morning of Friday, July 12, 2024 with my wife and two puppies. It was around 11:00, although it may have been between 10:30 or 11:30. I had not been using any drugs or alcohol. We were our our way to Fort Dodge to do some shopping.

It was daylight and there were no clouds overhead. Visibility was excellent.

As we approached a farm acreage on the right side of the road, I noticed what appeared to be a somewhat peculiar black drone hovering in the air.

It was square, and shaped like a thick, square pizza box. I observed it for 3 - 5 seconds. I saw that it had solid sides, that were all at right angles. The dimensions of the boxy shaped object were approximately 1 : 6 : 6, with things protruding above and details visible on the underside. All of the details on the underside were also black or dark grey, and I don't know if I was seeing propulsion, landing gear, or what I was seeing, or if it protruded downward. There was a central feature protruding upward, which was less than twice as wide as the object's sidewall height. The central feature protruded upward less than the height of the object's sides. There were also four features protruding slightly upward, one at each corner. I thought this was peculiar because the motors of propeller driven drones are inset from the outer walls of a drone, due to the length of the propellers. These motors (if they were even motors), however, were out at the very corners of the object. There were no propellers visible.

At first I had no reference for the size of the object, and noticed that it appeared to rotate about 30 degrees in a counter-clockwise fashion, and began to descend slowly and smoothly. It appeared to be very stable, and had none of the typical drone wobble that I have seen on small drones. It descended behind a barn which shocked me, because I had thought it would have been in front of the barn. The fact that it descended behind the barn indicated to me that its size had to be at least 12 feet across, but it could have been up to 25 feet across. I cannot specify with any degree of certainty the exact size of the object, other than that it had to be substantially larger than any drone that can be purchased on the internet.

Judging from the size, flight observation, and dimensions of the object it very well could have been man-made. It displayed no characteristics of acceleration that were unexplainable. The square shape could have been a drone, but it was indeed a very unique drone if so. Judging from its size, and what I have seen of large, homemade drones on the internet, this object was large enough to transport a pilot and a passenger, if it was a drone.

As it descended behind the barn, I exclaimed in astonishment to my wife, "Did you see that? That was either a gigantic drone or a UFO." She had been playing with the puppies and did no see anything, and told me that I had not seen anything. our car passed the acreage and I looked back to see if it was still visible, but it seems to have descended down into or behind the corn in the field to our right.

The interstate traverses left and the glare went away making the object clear - it was a silver metallic, round globe hovering, not moving. Fast moving orbs of light

Me and my father were sitting on our back porch looking north.(near Merrill Iowa ) when around 2 AM white/blue and sometimes red lights would shoot around the sky. We saw a total of 20+ different lights shoot around, stop then move again. During this we noticed what seemed to be military aircraft hauling towards the commotion. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. It was almost like a space war.

Large round light appeared just over the trees on Mississippi River

This happened 2 nights in a row, 3rd night a helicopter toured the same area at the same time. A couple weeks later it showed up again.

1st night approx 9pm, large light appeared on the river just above the trees, traveling to the East very slowly-no sound, watched it until out of sight.

2nd night approx 9pm large light appeared over the river just above the trees, not moving-no sound. For some reason my cat was outside with a racoon playing (odd) when they saw the light they both froze and stared at the light. We noticed that it was vary quiet outside (odd). We all watched the light until it disappeared, then the racoon and my cat walked away. Took video of that night.

3rd night approx 9pm a helicopter was touring the same area for a few minutes then left. A couple weeks later at 9pm the light showed up again-no sound moving slowly to the East over the Mississippi river just over the trees. Have not seen that light since then.

About 2016 or 2017 at night saw a large object fly across the sky fiery red, the closer to the river it became green-greenish yellow before coming across river and landing into water. In same area where I saw the light back in May of this year

I saw it fly over the hotel and it was huge.

Very very large triangle. The main color was dark gray. It had dark grey/black lines underneath it side to side of the craft. There were no lights on it, and it was completely noiseless. It was hovering very low to the ground. It never made a sound.

Ball of light changing direction like no known aircraft capability, exiting at extremely high rate of speed.

I happened to be walking out of my bathroom and seen through the window a very bright light what looked to be over my neighbor's home. By the time I got to the window to try to watch it the light had dissipated. I walked outside to investigate further, the light was navigating in very unconventional ways, changing direction on a dime, stopping or pausing and accelerating back to the initial speed it was traveling before it paused. I returned to the house to inform my family what I was witnessing, one of them returned outside with me. The light continued to swirl over the house in the distance getting brighter and dimming throughout the time we observed it. The light eventually went straight up in the sky on the horizon, made a 90 degree turn and accelerated east at an extremely high rate of speed I have never witnessed before until we lost view behind a set of trees.

3 white lights suddenly dart & turn

I was letting my dog out just past 4am. I was looking all around at the stars, suddenly where I had just looked seconds before in a starless patch of sky there were 3 white lights all in a row. They were the same size and brightness of other stars. They moved with incredible speed simultaneously from the southwestern sky, veering off to the north. There was no sound as it passed overhead. The entire encounter lasted 2 seconds.

Fixed cluster of greenish lights traveling from east to west in the northern sky.

At approximately 7 p.m. CST, I observed an oval cluster of greenish lights going from east to west across the sky north of Des Moines. I’ve seen the Space X satellites, and these weren’t traveling in a straight single file line. The illumination must have come from the sun, because they ultimately faded from view as they passed through the trees.

They looked like a large flock of birds, but they were lit up and appeared to be flying at high altitude. It’s possible that they were attached to a single aircraft, but it looked like they were flying independently.

Driving back home up Traer street toward the Lutheran church from downtown when saw a silver sphere hanging over the street. It stayed still and hung about 5 seconds then flew off to the east quickly. Another person walking also saw it. It was silver with the sun shining off of it.

It was hard to tell size and distance. When it moved it was fast. As it went east it got smaller in the distance. It was sitting still and when I noticed it, it took of quickly to the East.

Saw multicolor flashing object staying in place

I went to let my dog out. As I was waiting for her i decided to look at the stars as I typically do when I let her out at night. As I was looking up I noticed flashing lights. I looked at them and noticed it wasn't the colors you'd see from a plane and it wasn't moving. I brought my dog back inside and grabbed my camera to try to take a picture of it. I walked down to the corner of my block to try to get an unobscured picture. The camera wouldn't focus and even when manually focused unfocused when I tried to take a picture. Someone walking past stopped and asked what I was taking a picture of. I pointed up to the multicolored lights and after seeing them he left. I went back inside to put away my camera since I couldn't get any photos. I told my grandma and she came out and looked at them as well. She went back inside while I stayed outside watching it. Every few minutes I would step inside for a minute to warm up before stepping back outside again to watch. After watching it for around an hour I went back inside as it was too cold out for me to stay outdoors.

Changing Lights, odd directional changes

The object flying headed from West to East at a fairly slow pace, there were two white/yellow blinking lights close together flashing at the same time. The object suddenly shifted very slowly to the South and went a little further before one light went out, the other dimmed and the object stopped. It then sat for about one minute before it slowly turned back to the West and that light dimmed even further. I looked down to send a message to a friend about it and then when I looked back up no lights were further visible and it was nowhere in sight. It was too windy and early in the morning for me to think it was a drone, but seemed smaller than a regular air craft. It didn’t look to be that far away but it was dark and difficult to get a shape on it. It flew flat, not ascending or descending. My son watched it fly with me but we couldn’t figure out what it was.

I stepped outside with a colleague to have a cigarette and noticed a couple of lights off to the distance that seemed out of place. I watched them fade in and out and move up and down at a high rate of speed. After seeing this I cut my co worker off mid conversation and asked if he was seeing what I was seeing. He looked and saw the same thing. A moment later the two lights turned into four and seemed to be flying in some sort of formation but were fading in and out then got really bright before fading out once again. This went on for roughly 45 minutes. There were eight people who witnessed this event. Was really fascinating. The lights seemed to pulse then slowly fade out of existence. They would loop around one another and then seemed to be stationary before fading out of sight. Then moments later be miles away and do the same pattern again.

One night I returned home to watch the evening news and they were announcing a ufo had been seen traveling over the town from south to north and going down in a quarry. 11 sphere balls all gray going against the wind about 60 mph at about 500ft very low. 11 balls in a wide v formation. one bobbled out of line and then quickly took his place back in line. then they all got tighter to a skinny v formation almost like the one ball got the rest in trouble and they all had to tighten up! i knew i did not have time to run inside and get a camera so i watched and tried to take in every detail i could. the wind that day was blowing north at about 20 very strong wind but nice day puffy clouds. and they all flew against that straight south perfectly south infact. since then i bought night vision security cams and pointed them up and i caught ships here hovering. and so i saved and bought a thermal cam i had to skip vacation to buy it. i know have real proof we dont see them with our eyes but the cameras sure do!

Object was a perfect triangle 60°x60x60 with no clear visible lights or markings; being that high up in the sky, there could have been. I saw a UFO and bc watched it go through a slit in the sky.

Saturday night I went out back with my dogs before bed. As I stepped off back porch and looked up I saw what I thought was an out of place star. Then it started to move slowly it turned a little clockwise. That's when I saw the dim green/blue light. It has a bigger white light. It moved a short distance and went through a slot that was camouflaged like the sky and stars. Then it was just gone. Two years ago on July 4th my son and I saw the same type of UFO much closer. That time it came down from way up extremely fast and rested above the interstate. It had a dim green light. Then its like someone on the object uncovered the light. It did not just turn on. Then the Omaha police helicopter flew in front of it and I saw that it was twice as big as the copter and shaped like a bunch of boxes put together. It then disappeared for15 minutes and reappeared above the first National tower downtown omaha. It covered and uncovered the white light like someone did it with a tarp. It was way to big and fast to be a drone. It then did a bunch of small fast circles and disappeared. My son and I were freaked out! I sent the video of it disappearing to mufon back then and now I don't have it. I wanted to report this just in case I'm taken. Thank you.

Very bright green light with yellow purple and red lights rotating in the middle

3rd sighting. Solid green with rotating red yellow and purple lights. Hovers in the same spot for different lengths of time and the it will quickly drop out of sight. Always after sunset. Once there were 3 other lights flying around it.

Bright white craft stays mostly still in the early morning.

The object had no marking lights. It only glowed bright white and seemed to be moving all over especially around it even though it did not move much in the sky. I stayed in almost the same spot the whole time, and did so for several minutes.

Black snake like objects in the sky

3 travelers saw multiple sightings on these black snake like objects moving in the sky. They would appear to be falling down and then zoom to the left or right before heading back up in the sky. Shortly after we saw a plane of some kind chase it. A Lazer like light came out and an explosion ensued (fireball maybe?). A third party in Washington Iowa witnessed this as well. When we made it to fairfield it seemed like we were all missing time. It should have been light out Still. The time on the car went from 7:30 to 9:26. We were missing almost 2 hours of time. There were glowing orbs in the sky around 1030 and one seemed to have crashed at Water Works. We went to investigate but it felt off. We came home and still felt off. We heard something moving in the alley and I decides to snap a photo without flash (my camera did something weird that I've never seen before.). In the photo there appears to be a humanoid shape. We went to investigate and there was nobody there, or animal.

We saw a large extremely bright object which was not too far above a hill/tree line west of our house. It moved strangely, and

I looked out my west 2nd story window around 9 PM and saw an object between the tree branches near my house. It was moving left and right and a little circular, and I thought that was odd. As I looked closer, it didn’t resemble an aircraft. It was very large, very bright and I called down to my husband. He was skeptical but not after he saw it. He ran right downstairs and didn’t answer when I called him back. I found him in the backyard staring up at it. It was fairly low on the sky and large.

It looked kind of star shaped with red and occasionally blue or white lights I watched with him and ran back in to get my camera

Two bright lights in a direct line hovering. Very large and very bright no noise came from it and no other lights besides the two.

Saw when leaving Oxford Junction, IA almost looked like it followed us to Maquoketa. Too big to be a drone. Thought it was a helicopter at first but no noise came from it and it was very still hovering. Overheard other people talking on the phone about seeing it as well. Went inside for an hour and came back out and it was gone Couldn't see the actual shape of the object in the dark, just the lights.

These same lighted objects are above town every night and start out in the same positions it would seem

The usual objects that have been seen by myself, my wife and several others are in numbers of at least 7 or more at typical count on a typical night. They aren't visible in daytime. There are two that are most visible at dusk every night and are lower than the rest. They seem unaffected by wind or weather conditions. There are one bright white light with white lights in the same plane on either side and a red light beneath those. The other anomaly I witnessed that was different than these every night ones was about three weeks ago. It traveled from east northeast to the west southwest. It was a cluster of white lights looking to be about twenty or so that were constantly changing patterns, but always in close proximity to each other. When I tried to get a closer look by driving toward them they were gone in the distance at a rate of speed I can't explain.

They're somewhat mushroom shape about the size of a VW bug with white lights and one red light toward the bottom

The first of the anomalies appeared above town a week ago, First one then two and were quite low and bright, resembling Christmas lights but the brightest and lowest were about 200 to 300 feet in altitude. As I continued to monitor them I could see more high in the sky coming in faintly then getting closer to where they just hovered a little higher than the first ones. Their patterns seem to be relatively consistent from night to night, sometimes as many as 7 or so visible and sometimes as little as 4. They do not move much or noticeably but just hover in the same area. But this last Saturday night the 14th as I was watching the usual lights that have been visiting, I noticed a new and different light pattern over in the west part of town not far away. It was much larger than the usual ones, with white lights constantly changing shape. Around 9 pm I decided to get in the car and see if I could get a picture of it. I drove out of town away from the lights of town and by the time I'd gotten one mile out the light pattern had moved so fast it was miles ahead of me. Doing 60 mph west I stopped again and got out of the car. It was so far away in the west by then I knew I'd never catch it so I went home.

Light Blue line in sight 30 seconds moving northerly

Extremely clear visibility, stars crisp and in focus. First sighted while driving west 1.5 miles west of Galva, Iowa at 6:40 pm. Object first spotted at 270 degrees. Moved in seat forward then from side to side to ensure it wasn’t a glare on windshield. Wife in passenger seat then asked if I was looking at the same thing.

Object was light blue. Brightness was very close to the background stars. Approximately 6 to 8 degrees above horizon. Appeared mostly as a line, reminiscent of a neon tube, occasionally appeared to tilt in roll giving a disc shaped appearance. Moved from a position straight ahead (270 degrees) to approximately 280 degrees constantly at the same elevation. After 30 seconds of viewing came to a gravel road and pulled over to try to get a photograph. Object disappeared, did not appear to speed away or fade and it did not go beyond the horizon as stars were still visible under it, it just vanished from view.

During the sighting we were first on relatively level road then climbed a hill with an estimated 50ft of elevation change. My perception of the elevation did not change; I believe it was at a far distance. The object appeared to have an angle of attack of 10-12 degrees positive and moved straight across the sky(no elevation change). Speed impossible to determine due to no references for distance.

They stayed not moving for about 1-2 minutes. Then the blue light disappeared and moments later it appeared on the other side of the red light. still the red light had not moved was just hovering. about a minute later the blue light vanished again and appeared back on the other side of the red light again where it had started. Then both lights started moving from West to East. Then again, they stopped and hovered and the blue light again switched side's twice but when it came back the second time it was yellow not blue the red light remained red The whole time. They were both so very bright and vivid the whole time. At this point my wife had grabbed my phone and I started videoing the object. In the video you can see it pass between then moon and mars. The objects looked much closer with my eyes then it appears in the video! There was never any sound and as you can see on the video the night was perfectly clear and very quiet. There is no flashing light like you would see on a plane or helicopter. and the lights just seemed so strangely bright and vivid! In the video you can see it is moving rather fast when passing between the moon and mars. In the year and a half, we have lived here I have seen airplanes, Helicopters, the International Space Station, And even Starlink "which is an AMAZING SIGHT" But I have never seen anything like this.

3 digital pics of 2 conjoined dark cloud circles with illuminated crown of blue/white light in sky at 4 pm on Sun, 30 Oct 2022.

While I was alone in my car driving North on I-380 from Cedar Rapids to Cedar Falls, the generally strange look of the clouds in the westerly sky caught my attention. Then I saw the two conjoined circle clouds, darker than the other wisps of clouds, which appeared to be illuminated at the top with a crown of bright blue/white light. I observed they seemed to be moving separately from the surrounding clouds, or that they were not moving while the other clouds moved past them in the sky above them. Out of curiosity, I turned off I-380 about three miles later, on the exit for Center Point. I wanted a clear view, so turned left to cross over the interstate and drove a short distance to get past power lines that would have obstructed my line of sight of the objects, then turned left onto Wildlife Road, and pulled over on the side of the gravel road. I stepped out of my car with my iOS phone (Apple 13) and found where the objects were in the sky, then took three photos. Once I’d done that, I hopped back in the car and continued home.

The orange orb was flying east to west at telephone pole and treetop level, paralleling Highway 30.

On the night of October 28th, 2022, as I was preparing to take photographs or video of any unusual objects in the sky, specifically UFOs, I took note of an orange ball of light bobbing seemingly 250 yards away. I was on the back porch area, looking east. After a few seconds I realized it was travelling my way, along the four-lane highway and toward the house we occupy on 202 Red Earth Drive. The travel was east to west. With my Canon Rebel camera mounted on a heavy tripod, I attempted to videotape the object, but couldn't get proper positioning, so I had to lift the tripod with one arm while using other to focus and start videotaping. I was able to capture about one minute before it vanished behind a Derecho-fallen oak tree. One minute later, as I was going around the house, the dogs began barking.

A large well defined object passed in-front of the brightly lit full moon; crossing across the right lower quadrant

Driving on the interstate my son exclaimed “what is that?”, looking automatically at the moon while driving I witnessed a large linear slightly convex shape in the 6 o'clock position going over to the 4 o'clock position of the moon. It was one solid object that quickly moved towards the right side if the moon, as if it was passing infront of the moon. It lasted approximately 10 seconds to leave visibility, as it was a clear dark night without clouds. My son shared with me he witnessed it more of a large cigar shape. Defined edges. No lights or other abnormalities. It was huge to be able to black out such a large portion of the moons light.

I barely visible dark boomerang glided across the sky noiselessly. No lights.

My sister and I went outside to have a small fire in her fire pit. It was already very dark outside so that we needed to use flashlights to get situated. Once the fire was started I sat back in my Adirondack chair and looked at the night sky. A few stars were visible but I immediately noticed that it looked like the sky was rippling. I looked closer and let my eyes adjust. It looked like a black boomerang was blocking the stars behind it, darker than the sky around it. As I stared I said, “What is that?” And my sister, apparently not seeing what I was seeing yet, said, “It’s an airplane.” I said, “OK” but kept staring intently. She saw this and looked to see where I was looking. She suddenly stood up and said, “What the hell?” I stood up with her and we continued to watch the shape. It had no lights of any kind and there was so sound coming from its direction. I don’t know quite how to describe this but it seemed to glide rather than fly. Maybe it was the speed it was moving at? I’m not sure. From the time I spotted it to the time it disappeared from our sight was probably 30 seconds. It didn’t appear to be as high as a jet would be or as low as a small airplane. It was somewhere in between. It was large. I would guess that it was as large as a passenger jet but, again, there was no sound. After it was gone we paid attention and we could hear jets up high and planes lower. We can’t explain this. If there was a trail it was too dark to see it. As far as we could tell we were the only ones who even noticed its presence. It was very stealthy. It was almost invisible but I don’t know how it would evade the radar of the nearby small airport.

Strangely moving light

Seen in the process of driving to Iowa City from St. Paul, MN. Bright light, Green or possibly white two witnesses have differing views. Came over the top of vehicle visible through sunroof and then windshield. Didn't seem to be moving exceedingly fast, after being visible for 5-10 seconds it looked like it raced off straight ahead disappearing within a second.

I know this probably isn't a terribly large amount of information but it'd be cool to know if there was a meteor or anything spotted in the area. If anyone tracks those sort of things.
