Tumbling cylinder with bright reflections or lights

We were in outside enjoying the nice weather this afternoon and saw a cylinder tumbling end over end. It was moving from east to west towards O'Hare while the wind and clouds were moving in the opposite direction from west to east. One of us thought it was a dark color, had a flashing light, and had some sort of disturbance/distortion around it in the shape of a ball. The other person thought it was brown and was reflecting the sun in a blinking fashion as it tumbled. It moved fairly quickly at first and then stayed in place for a bit before being obscured by clouds. By the time the clouds blew by, it was no longer there.

I have an app that supposed to record my snoring while I sleep instead of recorded a sound that was in my apartment that I cannot understand what it is. I was sleep and did not hear it often while I’m asleep I hear sounds like I am in a ship or a plane, I finally was able to hear the sound because it was recorded while I slept. I seen in the past objects in the sky while I was in California a crystal sphere appeared at my bedroom window a flash of bright light like a flashlight when I pull back the blinds to investigate it as if someone had taken a picture of me And it flew away

It came over twice just minutes apart and we videotaped and took pictures too

I was sitting on my couch watching tv and saw something orange in the sky to the east moving westward from behind my maple tree. My wife and I went outside and there was an orange orb moving slowly to the west. She was trying to take pictures with her phone and I told her use video. After it disappeared we went back inside and a minute or two later I looked back outside and there it was again in the same area and moving west. This time I told her to grab my phone and I videotaped it for about a minute until it disappeared again. Several minutes later I went back out and I think I saw it a 3rd time moving south but didn’t have time to tape it.

Solid metal offset stacked flat cylinders over lake Michigan watching over Chicago

I saw it and was stunned for a couple seconds, literally burst out with "what the heck was that?" And I heard at least one other person react like they saw it with a whoa. Meant to ask pilot if he saw when I got off the plane. I have excellent vision and hard blinked just to be sure. Could have been stationary in air or moving slowly east, but plane over took. Saw for about 5 seconds total but didn't start taking out camera until too late as we passed it. Seemed mostly stationary but rotated once. Looked like solid metal, there was a weight to it, maybe the size of a little kid. Solid polished metal. A bit like two old school film reels stacked on top of one another in a tall way but offset a bit and the bottom half was a bit more trapezoidal/geometric rather than circular. As I passed there was way more bright zippy things in the air like ionization almost, kind of like stars you might see when you rub your eyes, but it was faint overall.

While driving North on 57 we saw the same type of object fly over the sky in short bursts. The object appeared a total of 3 times. This happened multiple times (3 that we saw) over the course of 1.5 hours while on the same road. Object appeared to move generally from South to North, parallel to our travel. No streak appeared behind orbs. Orbs did only fly in a single direction that we saw have seen shooting stars many times in the past and this was certainly unfamiliar to that.

Silent Quick moving square with rounded edges

My father and brother and I were outside grilling when I looked up and saw something odd.

My father used to be a private pilot. My grandfather was an aircraft mechanic during the war and a private pilot as well and he built the Jerseyville airstrip with a couple war buddies. Aviation runs in our family.

While I dont consider myself an expert, I am an emphatic aviation enthusiast. I havent taken classes or anything but I like to read NTSB reports for fun. Even the "boring" bits intrigue me. I love learning more and more about aerodynamics and avionics, etc but the more that I learn, the more I see there is to learn. So, no, I'm not an expert, but I know far more than the average joe.

This thing was at about cruise altitude for commercial jets, about 33,000 or 34,000 ft and made no sound. It looked like i was looking at it through a haze of some sort. It was going at least 1000 mph. Much quicker than a commercial jet but similar in speed to an F16s top, just not shaped anything like one. It made its way across the sky in less than 20 seconds. There were no wings, no propellers (that I could see) no lights of any sort. It was a white and somewhat thin rectangular craft with rounded edges. It looked sort of like the air was warping around it and behind it, very strange. Up close it was probably around 200 ft long and maybe 50 to 75 feet wide. It was large for a square aircraft. Dad has never seen anything like it. Nothing before that was that fast.

I grabbed my camera and took a video that, unfortunately due to the speed and distance of the object, is not very conclusive. It's shaky and very brief.

As I said, I'm not an expert, but I've seen alot of planes. Other than general aviation aircraft, we live right next to the hospital, people are airlifted via helicopter all the time, we live next to two airports, one of which is St. Louis International Lambert Airport. I cannot stress this enough, we know what the hell airplanes look like. Drones and helicopters too. This was not one of those.

My wife and I seen a Bright light high in the sky suddenly dissappear and not behind clouds

Wife and I were driving we seen this light in the air looked like a star but a little off just wasn't as high as the other stars but was definitely alot higher than the aircraft I could see flying moved very slowly for about 10 to 15 mins and with a blink of an eye it was suddenly gone and we kept looking and waiting and nothing just gone.

Object appeared to be one or more bright white lights very close together. About as bright as Venus, but moving slowly.

Bright light or lights very close together moving without noise to the southwest. I have lived close to ORD most of my life and I am familiar with the motion of jets, helicopters, small plains and the ISS. This looked like none of them.

The lights appeared to fade in intensity as it moved to the southeast as if the light or lights was/were aimed to the southeast.

I stood completely still as I watched and in reference to tree branches overhead, the object had a somewhat irregular motion and was not smooth like a plane.

I saw it move from a 90 degree location overhead to about 45 degrees where it faded and vanished.

I can't estimate the elevation of the object, but it appeared to be higher than the usual air traffic in this area.

I was standing out back on my porch just talking with my wife when this bright slow moving light caught my eye

On video my buddy and his dad were outside and started recording when his dad saw something by the moon, a triangle shaped transparent light see through object almost blending in with the night sky slowly emerges out the clouds traving northeast towards lebanon from the bottom of shiloh then turns into a perfect circle and makes a unstraight motion and goes back into clouds to come out again this time as a v shape and shoots across the sky out of view all of which is on video.

Line of lights

While walking my dog down Schlag LN, I observed a straight, illuminated line in the western sky at around 8:15pm on February 27th, 2025. I attuned my focus and noticed that it was a series of lights, grouped fairly close together that did not appear to be moving. If one were to hold a hand at arm's length from one's face, the length of lights would be relative to about the length of a finger. I continued to watch and within about 3 seconds, starting from the top, the lights faded out and were no longer visible.

First suspicion would be Starlink satellites. I checked the schedule for visibility times and neither the time nor location correlated with my experience. Supposedly, the window of availability ends shortly before 6pm and location would be from west, looking east.

A metallic disc was hovering above the lake.

Me and my wife were sitting by the parking lot near the cemetery when all of the sudden we saw a big metallic disc looking object hovering probably 500 feet above the lake. The bottom of it was glowing, ember colored. My wife and I were frozen in awe. It stood still hovering for almost 3 minutes then shot up into the sky in an instant. It was almost 20 feet in diameter. It had almost a hypnotizing effect on us and felt like it felt our presence, as we were unable to reach for our phones. It was a surreal experience and I am now a believer.

A white oval shaped light is seen on my front door, Ring camera.

On February 10, 2025 at @ 3 am until 5:30 am an oval shaped white light was recorded on my front door , Ring camera. Our house faces north and watching the video, you are looking north west. The oval shaped white light appears and descends from the sky. It moved very slowly, eventually disappearing behind the tree/ roof tops. ( Our Ring camera is set for 3 minute intervals.)
We are @ 4 blocks from a forest preserve, where it may have been descending towards.

In watching the video, I never observed any blinking lights, that may have identified it as an aircraft.

On Tuesday, February 11th, I went to our local police station and showed it to the man at the front desk and to a police officer. They were not able to explain it either.

On Saturday, February 15th , my youngest son and I went to the DuPage Flight Center, located at the DuPage Airport, 2700 International Drive, West Chicago, IL 60185. (630-208-5600). We showed the video to 7 people there at the time, most of who are pilots. They weren't able to explain it either. One of the young men there , took my information and filed the report with the FAA (AAE-EHL-20250215-031).

My occupation is a Senior Food Technologist for a flavor manufacturer.

This video is just one of many sightings I've seen in this general area since 2005. I've also seen sightings during the day ALOT. My first sighting during the day was about 8 years ago in the same general area. As of lately, I've seen the daytime ones nearly every week for the last couple months. I do live by Scott Air Force Base, but these "planes" I'm seeing during the day do not act like normal planes. The first time I spotted one of these 8 years ago, at first I thought I saw the moon out during the day and it eventually turned into a plane like floating object near the power lines and I followed it into Mascoutah town and it ended up floating through some trees and I lost it. This thing started off way up in the sky and was a spherical Platinum colored object and ended up being a mini floating plane going through town. It made no sense. My daughter saw that one too. She was also with me with the video I sent in. I have many stories

Was driving a friend home when we spotted a non-flashing light in the sky moving fast

I Was driving a friend back home earlier when we spotted a light in the sky. At first it was flying from left to right until we saw its direction began to curve. The light then instantly reversed and abnormally sped up. Many are suggesting it was ISS but that was not visible for Bolingbrook at the time. Some also suggest it was a plane based off FlightRadar (Cessna) but again the change in speed & direction makes it very questionable. What we saw wasn’t an airplane, helicopter, or drone. It moved in almost every direction—up, down, west, east—and appeared to change its light or even its shape, shifting from a boomerang-like object to a large circle. There was also no sound at all. We spotted it again at 9:55 PM CST.

Orb moving in the sky, stopped mid sky, then disappeared

I was driving south on La Grange in Orland Park, Illinois at about 3:20pm. There were no clouds in the bright blue sky. While driving I noticed a big white smear shape, similar to a comet, in the sky as I got close to the 159th intersection. There was no visible aircraft attached to what I’m guessing is an exhaust tail. Like airplanes will have two white exhaust fume tails following behind them, this was similar but significantly shorter, and was one solid tail. Perhaps describing the tail was more like that of a comet sighting but shorter and fuller. The tail would quickly dissipate as the invisible craft making it slowly moved diagonally down in the sky. I watched the white dot object stop mid sky, the tail quickly shortening until it didn’t exist and all was left was a blinking white dot. It looked like a star or planet does in the night sky. Again the sky was bright blue with no clouds at all. It flickered as it held still in the sky, the blinking slowly dimmed until the orb was no longer visible. It did not become visible again.It disappeared after I passed 183rd intersection but before i reached 191st intersection. At no point did I see a colored light or metal reflecting light like an airplane, helicopter, or metal aircraft. At no point did I see a cloud, bird, plane, or other aircraft in the sky. I am not good with estimating the elevation, what I can tell you is the car in front of me was an old model sedan and the comet to orb sighting was directly above it in my line of sight with only a little blue sky between the top of the car and it in the sky. I drive a compact SUV so my car did not sit any higher than the sedan. So the elevation would be roughly 30-40°?

I saw drone type of objects very lg like a small plane size. Some looked like they were crossing paths and others following each other. I saw orb round lights go around 3 lighted drones and there were several! About 25 with in 15 minutes. You could not take photo or film what you saw.

3 low flying slow moving craft flying due north of standard flight path into Ohare

Witnessed 2 low flying possible drones flying north of standard flight path that come over our house everyday. They looked to be following each other and moving at an abnormally slow speed. Appeared very large compared to commercially available drones. No other air traffic was in the sky other than these 2 slow moving low flying craft. Witnessed large bright light hovering over homes. It slowly ascended upwards then headed east.

I was in my kitchen washing my hands and looking out the window which faces north. Suddenly I noticed a bright white light just above the tree line. At first I believed it to be a reflection from the window because theres a street light in that same general direction, which I could also see. I walked over to get a better view from the back door and at that point I could see that it was ascending upwards slowly and it was a single bright white light. In the video, it remains this way until around 12 seconds in when the object starts traveling East and out of nowhere turns on blinking lights. There didn't appear to be much (if any) sound coming from it. Shortly after it starts traveling east, I spotted another object that appeared to be a plane, however I didn't find much of anything on my flight tracker that matched up with their flight paths. My husband and I (who both witnessed this) live in a direct flight path and have a small local airport near by, so we are both quite familiar with seeing/hearing legitimate planes on a normal basis. This occurence was much different from anything else we'd seen before. Uploading a video/photos for reference. The combined photo is to show the location during the day for scale. In the dark screenshot of the video, the light on the left is the street light I mentioned. The one on the right is of whatever was above the gray/blue house and tree line.

UAP/Drone Sighting

I was taking the dogs out in the early morning and noticed a bright light moving slowly across the sky. I didn’t think much of it until it slowed to a stop, dropped down and hovered for about 45 seconds. From what I know, satellites and planes do not move in that way.

I ran in the house to grab my phone to video what I was seeing. When I returned outside it was moving across the sky again. Keeping the object in frame I didn’t even notice that there was what seemed to be another light off to the right.

Then, out nowhere, an airplane appears in the frame as if it was trying to catch up to the object. I could clearly see that the lights on the airplane were very different than that of the UAP/Drone.

Not sure what is going on in our skies, but what I witnessed was not normal aircraft activity.

Viewed several mostly stationary orbs hovering just above lake Michigan roughly 1 mile from shore

I observed at least 4 orbs / spheres of yellow-ish emitting a bright, pale-yellow light roughly 1 mile offshore from Lake Michigan.

The objects were closer than the Chicago water filtration cribs, which are 2 miles offshore, but exact distance hard to determine. I'm estimating a distance of approximately 1 mile.

The orbs seemed to pulse / flicker and disappear and reappear at random times. Some drones moved, others appeared stationary. Objects were low and my position was elevated from the water by about 25 feet, so angle of elevation was almost head-on. I'd estimate it at about 12-15 degrees.

I'd estimate at the lowest point, the drones were no more than 100-200 feet above the water. Several pulsed and emitting much brighter light at times, before pulsing down again or spontaneously disappearing. The video attachment shows only part of the event, but a clear demonstration of movement and the "pulsing" motion.

I let my dog out and saw a white/blue light

I'm an avid star gazer and tonight I was letting my dog out and while standing in my kitchen I look above my neighbors house and saw a small, single, round, white light and blue aura zoom past and disappear quickly. I know the difference between satellites, meteors, and comets, all which this wasn't. This object was unidentifiable but I can say for certain it wasn't any of the three mentioned above. I'm former military thats currently a nursing student that does not use drugs or alcohol so I know it wasn't something I imagined or mistook for simple aircraft. It's possible it's advanced technique I'm unaware of but it doesn't seem likely.

I was pulling up my driveway. I saw a brigght light in sky on East side and one exact on West side,then big object with red white blinking

4 different objects flying above and near my home. 2 white orbs looked like they were taking snapshots. Then a triangled aircraft blue and green underage lights, a red and white light craft, zoom at high speed towards the triangled aircraft, I thought it was going to collide, but it then disappeared and showed up a few seconds later, unless it was a second one, I was able to get a video of it. On Monday, December 9th, at 4:42 PM, I was driving east on Vollmer Road, approaching the intersection with Cicero Avenue in Matteson, Illinois, when I noticed something unusual in the sky. In the distance, three bright lights hovered motionlessly in a triangular formation against the darkening sky.

The lights were steady and silent, lacking the typical characteristics of conventional aircraft or drones. Their behavior defied immediate explanation, sparking my curiosity and wonder.

I quickly grabbed my phone and took a few photos, hoping to capture the mysterious lights before they disappeared. Upon reviewing the images, the lights appeared just as I had seen them: distinct, bright, and oddly suspended in the air.

As I continued driving, the lights gradually faded into the horizon, leaving me with more questions than answers. The photos I took serve as evidence of this strange encounter, a reminder of the mysterious sight I witnessed on Vollmer Road that day.

Older prop "cargo plane ?"/not a. jet followed closely by 2 triangular objects 3 round white lights underside of each.

Older 4 engine prop plane, brownish color, no lights on in cabin area or on plane. 2 Grey/black triangular shaped object's rose up from wooded area - forest preserve- East of 294-North of Ogden ave. sped up and hung under tail area of plane, moving up and back and forth under tail area of plane, one under each side. Altitude approx. 100/200 feet as it flew over my building. Lost sight of objects s they flew over my building. Engine noise from prop plane. No noise from objects. Objects appeared to be about 20+? feet in length moving fast to catch up to "cargo plane"?

Impression I got was that plane had just taken off from Midway airport and as it crossed FPD area objects rose up from wooded area and sped up to observe /chase? "cargo" plane.

I was on the phone with my daughter and out of nowhere. I said I see something in the sky that is absolutely not stars, wait a minute there’s three of them. It’s in the shape of a triangle. This is nuts… She said mom take a picture I told her it’s hard for me to see it. It’s right over the roofline of my neighbors – but I got a picture of all three points –then they went off in the distance and disappear disappeared as I saw. Another set of three bright white lights like triangle points, coming up roofline level and then they disappeared – like fade away gone – I have a series of pictures. One in particular, you can see the triangle of the three points very clearly. I told my daughter on the phone. One of the bright lights was right by the moon. 10 minutes later, my husband came in and not knowing my conversation with my daughter or what I had seen, he tells me that he just saw this really weird bright white light by the moon and it definitely wasn’t a star. It was literally what I had just said to my daughter. My husband did not see the triangle shape – but when I showed him the picture, it was the same bright light ball point that we had both seen – he was just driving. They were not stars.

I was walking west 95th, when a bright white chevron 50x faster than a jet flew south 4 secs before disappearing in clear night sky.

I was walking westbound 95th Street passing South Yale when I see a bright white shape fly south with a slightly eastbound tilt for 4 seconds, at inhuman speeds, then INSTANTLY disappearing into the clear night sky. It did not "fade out" like a transition, it disappeared like magic.

This is chicago, there are no mountains, and on the south side of Chicago there are no tall buildings.

I have traveled the country, and I have also traveled the world with my late, Emmy award-winning Father. Sweden, cancun, germany, london, dubai, Oman Kuwait, Japan, I am CERTAIN what I saw is what they used to call Ufos.

I never even believed in UFOs until I saw it with my own eyes an hour ago at around 9:35 p.m. Central Time.

I watched an almost T- or cross-shaped craft hover at first above town. After locking eyes with it, it seemed to "pulse" or vibrate.

So, I was taking the garbage out. I could've thrown my trash away upstairs, but I didn’t want it to stink up our kitchen. So, without thinking twice, I ran outside. When I got outside, it was dark, which is normal in our area because of the lack of any streetlights. Normally, because of this, if there is a full moon, we get some light—not a bunch, but enough to make out something in front of or around you.

After throwing the trash away, I noticed that instead of the normal color of light projected from the moon (the white or bright gray we see), I noticed an almost emerald-green color. It was out of the norm, but nothing crazy. Because of blood moons, etc., I figured it was just the moon in a way I’d never seen before.

So, I looked up. I still don’t know why I didn’t just go inside, but I figured I’d glance up. No harm, no foul—at least, that’s what I figured. Until I noticed an enormous T- or cross-shaped figure.

At first, I felt a rush of chills through my body, as if I had seen the Lord Himself—similar to how it feels to be jump-scared. I stood there at the base of the driveway, staring in absolute awe. It made absolutely no noise. In fact, it seemed as if, when I trained my eyes on the thing, I couldn’t hear anything else. So, I had nothing but my eyes.

I would’ve gotten my phone, but I was afraid it would leave before I could come back outside. So, I stood in disbelief. The craft was at least 80, maybe 90, feet above my head and the town. It felt like it was going to descend and cover the town.

The craft sat there—stagnant, resembling a player lagging online. The thing was just suspended in the air, like it was being held from a string. I noticed the center of the cross had a bright green light or glow, and at each end of the cross were a bunch of smaller orange, maybe yellow, lights.

Still standing there, I wouldn’t move. I wanted to see how this thing would cloak itself. After about 20 minutes of nothing, my ears popped, similarly to how they pop if you’re submerged under a large body of water. At that moment, I realized I hadn’t heard anything the entire time I had been standing there.

At 1am on 11/12/24 I took my dogs out and saw something in the north sky. There were at least 4 very large electric blue lights high in the clouds. I ran my dogs inside and grabbed my phone and called out to my roommate to see. They disappeared and showed up much further south and literally covered the sky with at least 12 to 13 off and on. There was an enormous arrow shape to the far east and a number of others in a large arc to the west. With random single lights rapidly moving in very random directions and would disappear to far out of site to record. It was very cloudy and cold. I looked everywhere for some beam of light going up, like a flood light - but the clouds seemed to have the glow coming from behind them shining down. I got a bit of video, went inside and when I came back out, the clouds had dispersed and they disappeared.

Small object about size of a light bulb reflecting the sun off the surface of it. Observed for about 4-5 blocks as car was traveling.

Nov 1, 2024: About 1:56 p.m. as passenger in front seat of car traveling south in the left lane (4 lane road) I noticed a very bright spot just above the tree line (suburban tree height-not grand oaks or maples, etc) that was keeping the same pace that the car was traveling (35-40mph). A small object about the size of a light bulb, thus couldn't determine distance of the object. The brightness of the object was of sunlight brightness. Couldn't really stare at it. The sun itself was higher up in the sky and slightly to the right of the object. As we are traveling south the object would drop behind the tops of the tree line (which is jagged of course). I realized the object was not moving up or down but that the car was dipping and rising with the road, causing the object to be behind the trees and then over them. I realized the brightness may be the sun reflecting off of the object. The lower section was not reflecting or bright, it was silver-grey. Observed this for 4 to 5 blocks.

Then, while sitting at the red light at the intersection of S. Highland Ave. and Butterfield Road, facing south the object quickly passed across our view from left to right and disappeared. My wife saw this also as the car was stopped and it was right in front of us. Size and extreme brightness were the same.

Driving east when I saw this bright white light against the grey clouds and didn’t look like a plane because it was so bright

It definitely wasn’t an airplane because of its cigar shape and how bright it was. I looked at it for about 20 seconds. It really stood out against the grey cloudy sky and appeared to remain still. I lost it behind the trees and when I had the next opening, I looked and it was gone.

Sky was relatively clear with scattered very thin clouds. Stars were visible. My line of view was unobstructed. It was nearly directly over my head slightly to the east. It was difficult to tell the shape of object due to distance and my viewing with naked eye, however it did not look like a perfectly circular shaped object. It seemed more oval shaped than round. It suddenly either took off forward, or up but either was it disappeared into the sky. I have never reported anything like a UFO in my life. First time reporter putting it out there in case anyone else noticed.

Facing east I witnessed a comet like shape long green flash of light descending low in the sky

Was outside of my home and looking east at approximately 9:30 pm CST on Saturday October 5th 2024. Witnessed a long bright green streak of light with what I believe was a bluish hue. The light was a comet like streak that appeared instantly and then disappeared after a few seconds. It was descending at a 45 degree angle moving south to southwest from where I was standing. The flash of light was wide and long and moving quickly. At first I thought it was maybe fireworks but no fireworks were going on in the area and I have never seen fireworks of that color or descending like that in my lifetime. My son was outside with friends at the time in our yard. I was going to tell them to look at that light but it disappeared before I was able to. No sounds or smells were present during my observation. My dog was outside and never reacted to the light. I did not see others post anything on social media as to what I witnessed. I was not drinking or otherwise impaired at time of occurrence. I am with 100% certainty of what I witnessed.

There were no indications that it was an aircraft seems how it was missing green lights and there were no lights blinking. The light also moved too slowly to be a fixed wing aircraft. Maybe it was an enormous drone or a helicopter missing all but the red lights. The craft made no noise that we could hear so that makes a helicopter not likely at all.

We see these randomly, late at night. I’ve posted before, but got some good ones tonight. These hover, change direction, and disappear. The red flashing lights are windmills. We live in central Illinois, in a pretty rural area. We look out our back deck to cornfields and country. You can see the strange lights going between the two windmills. The are not planes. I’ve check flight radar. It is not Starlink. I’ve checked that, too, and drones don’t disappear like that. They are at different levels. We cannot figure them out.

Saw weird shaped object moving and flashing lights

I was reading in my bedroom with the shades drawn and heard a rumbling noise. We often have helicopters flying above us for tracking crimes but this sounded different. I also knew it could not be snow ploughs but the sounds were moving around above the house like a helicopter would. My daughter came to my room ten minutes after I first heard the sounds and said she saw something weird out of her window. I went to her room and we both saw a craft coming left and right above the building across from us. I was surprised because it flashed several red lights on the underside then green lights then white. It then went out of our view. I asked my daughter to grab my phone and I tried to film it as it came back across our sight again left and right. It was not moving like a plane and did not have blades like a helicopter would. After another 5 minutes the sound left and did not return. My daughter then told me it was torpedo shaped and could not have been a plane or helicopter because she saw it flying in loops above the building across the road from us before she called me. My video shows something with multiple lights but does not capture what we both saw with our eyes. I do not know what this craft was but it was not like any plane or helicopter I have seen.

3 dull orange in a loose triangle formation moving west at half the speed of inbound airplanes to O Ohare

Sometime between 9.30 PM and 10PM, I looked up in the sky, from the back apartment porch, in a south south west direction, and saw either 2 or 3 dull orange orbs in a loose triangle formation that slightly altered their configuration around each other but maintained a United formation as they moved westbound slowly at approximately 2/3 the speed of a typical inbound aircraft approaching Ohare airport approximately 8 miles away. A few other aircraft were nearby and made their usual noise, thus I could not tell whether this orb formation emitted any noise or not.

There was a thin blanket of cloud above the object.

As soon as I saw the object, I got up to observe it better and I immediately was intrigued by the unusual nature of it. I observed this for a few seconds, then as it drifted out of sight past the tall building situated right next to ours, I immediately ran up the steps up to a higher porch deck to get a better view of the formation object in the western sky toward Ohare, but these orbs had faded out of view by then. Each of the 2 or 3 orbs were the same size and each orb was aprox 1/4th the size of a full moon, however as a collective formation, they were aprox 4 times the size of a full moon. Incidentally, the moon, in its 3/4 waxing phase, was nearby almost due south. The formation was approximate 70 degrees elevation upon first spotting it. The moon was visible among the light thin bank of cloud above. The objects appeared to be 2000-3000ft above ground level

Bright diffused light much larger than stars slowly moving Northeast, beams of light radiated off of orb, then disappeared.

On the morning of 9/12/24 at 5:30 a.m. in North Aurora, IL, my husband and I were taking our regular morning walk. It was still dark, but the sky was clear and stars were clearly visible. We were walking East on Oak St. when we both saw what looked like a white, large bright light hovering in the sky much higher than the tree line, but lower than an airplane. While the stars were tiny, clear pinpoints of light, this bright orb light was fuzzy/diffused looking. There were no clouds in the sky.

We both were trying to make sense of what we were looking at, because it did not look anything like a star or flying aircraft. It was completely silent - it did not make any sound whatsoever.

On the sides of the orb, it looked like fluttering white light as it slowly started to move away from us. It also looked like beams of white light were coming out from the bottom of the orb. As it moved, it looked as though it was separating into other orbs. Then it slowly dissolved into the sky leaving behind bright white fog/mist before it completely disappeared from sight.

I am a 51 year old female, and have been teaching special education for 29 years. I have lived in this area of North Aurora my entire life. My husband is a 54 year old retired police chief and has lived and worked in this area of North Aurora for 30 years. Neither of us have ever seen anything like this before.

Diffuse white light much larger than stars slowly appeared on a clear night.

I peaked at my Wyze camera that is outside, set to infrared, and pointed north. I noticed a blob of light much brighter and larger than anything I am used to seeing. I'm used to seeing satellites, used to airplane, but this was different and caught my eye. I decided to run outside and saw the object with my own eyes, it was large and diffuse and slowly drifting behind the tree line, much larger than stars that were points of light on this clear night. The object was moving in a constant direction, at a constant speed and very diffused. I took a few photos and a short video with my phone. I then checked the video on my Wyze camera, which is set to record non-stop. The object went from invisible, to a point of light like a star, then started getting brighter and bigger (as if light shining through fog, but the night was clear). As it disappeared heading NNW, it was still very large and visible. The object did not flash like airplane lights, it just kept getting larger and diffused. It was not a small point of light like satellites I am used to seeing.

My Co-pilot a former Airforce pilot pointed out 3 objects to my attention.

We saw UFOs dancing around in the night sky above us near southern Illinois while we were at 35,000 feet, we were on our way to Cincinnati/ Kentucky airport from Austin Texas. My Co-pilot , a former U.S. Airforce B1 Bomber Pilot pointed them out to me .......we saw three UFOs .

I tried to take a picture and a video but they would fade in and out and disappear at times. One of them shot straight up and down erratically and then disappeared. I could not get a good picture or video as they would suddenly disappear and just reappear flying around in circles around each other,like playing around or dog fighting. They were not fighter jets, at that altitude according to my Co-pilot they must have been at 60,000 feet or so according to our estimates over southern Illinois and jets simply cannot fly that high.

There were thunderstorms in the area at the time….

These lights were bright! We saw three of them.

6 bright lights over downtown Chicago, and a 7th flew by as well

Sighted 6 round lights in the Chicago airspace. They were in a clump and then started moving about each other moving westerly. They moved slowly towards the west and spread out for about 7 minutes and then they started going towards the East. The 6 orbs/lights appeared to go out over Lake Michigan. After about 20 minutes they were difficult to see. Something flew near the lights north to south. Didn’t look like a plane but not sure. Was bright as well.

Hovering at 300 degrees NW, the object flew toward 141 degrees SE. The object hovered, flew, rotated, rolled, lit up and split into 2.

We are in northern Chicago, below Skokie and Evanston. We first witnessed the object hovering at about 300 degrees NW. It was low enough we could discern some definition of the objects - it was white and had rotating lights. It also seemed to roll in the air. It began to move toward about 220 degrees SW, as it located, the object continued to light up and rotate, staying at about the same altitude. Eventually, it pivoted and flew toward 141 degrees SE, increasing altitude slightly. However, as it moved, it rotated more and seemed to split into two, each well lit. The object came back together but continued to rotate and roll. At another point, it seemed to split into at least two more vessels, each very well lit with light speed increasing quickly enough it looked like a Fourth of July sparkler. It came back together, and continued to spin and light up until it disappeared.

Strange lights moving in unison very fast

I am currently out camping. Just about an hour ago I was looking into the sky. I saw a string of lights zoom across the sky. They looked like little satellites. At first I thought to myself this was starlink. However, instead of all following each other in a single file line, they were all side by side.also they were pretty spaced apart. Even weirder some seemed to slow down and speed up. So the shape of the line was changing. At one point the line was perfectly straight. Then at another point some in the middle were way behind. One was out front and the end looked like a check mark. Then back so a semi straight line. All while maintaining a stead very fast pace as a group across the sky. The whole thing only lasted about 5 seconds and went from one side of the sky to the other. Headed east over starved rock in Illinois. What the heck could it be? Everyone keeps saying starlink but these were side by side moving in the same direction and seemed to fluctuate speed! This quite literally looked satellites moving like a flock of birds with extreme precision and incredible speed. Again it couldn’t have been starlink because they were not in a single file line and were way faster and flew with inconsistent speeds

Two crafts spotted at high altitude using O'Hare landing route as reference. One was a shaped as an S or the other uknown.

UFO emerged from a lightning storm.

Was outside with neighbors on our apartment patio. There was a strange storm that came across like a blanket, little rain, mostly an electrical storm. Out of a large flash of multiple clustered lightning bolts emerged a disc type craft, i only saw the bottom, idk if it was flat or if the top had any shape to it. The craft emerged from the south, and hovered slowly over our apartments; headed north toward Arsenal Island military base and nuclear facility. It had 4 or 5 lights; white/bluish color. Saw 2 UAPs, tried to video them but was interfered, they disappeared

Standing on platform waiting for train around sunrise. Saw 2 what looked like bright stars on the horizon. One on left brighter than one on right. Bright one seemed too bright to be a planet. I made a recording. I was recording for 30 seconds. Only thing my phone actually recoded was 2 seconds as I was pulling my phone away to click stop. A weird whistle can be heard in the video but it it was quiet where I was alone and can only be heard in the video. Then the darker one started to move at 90 degee angle up until it disappeared behind cloud. The bright one started to come towards me. It got brighter and bigger and pulsed like looking at a star at night. This happened for about a minute and when it was getting bigger I looked to see where train was coming for less than a second, turned back at it was gone

I saw two amber colored lights moving at a constant speed and low altitude north to northwest looking north from 27th st. They rotated in a strange way until they were obscured by the trees/buildings in the neighborhood. It was close enough to make out slight changes in color of the orbs from yellow to reddish orange. I didn't hear any noise from that direction, and a few minutes later I saw and heard planes that appeared to be from much farther away.

Small white sphere, moving fast then stopped then vanished

May 22nd 2024 at approx. 4 pm.
My daughter, her friend and myself were playing basketball in our driveway.

I happened to notice a small sphere object moving wildly in the sky to my East. We stopped playing basketball to watch this strange object.

The sky was a beautiful blue sky.
So when this object moved, it stood out against the sky.

When I noticed it, it was moving rapidly from South to North. The speed is what caught my attention at first. It was fast moving.

Then all of a sudden, it stopped real quick went west, then made a lot of eratic movements. And then all of a sudden it vanished.

From my vantage point.
I can not provide an exact size or the range to the object.

I fly drones and I know this was not a drone.
I know it was not a balloon. Or a small aircraft. Ora satellite.

I hate saying this. But the object appeared to look like the object in the videos the government released recently.

Almost identical.
Small white sphere, moving fast.

No sound.

And the weirdest thing of all, it just vanished right before our eyes.

Our cell phones were inside charging.
So we were unable to get footage.

We are hoping there may have been other witnesses! And you may have some kind of explaination on what it may have been.

Because we are unable to explain it.

Object recorded by my security camera while I was sleeping

A large white object was recorded by my security camera while I was sleeping. It came from the northwest and was heading to the south east. Sound was not being recorded so I am not sure if it made any sound. The camera is located inside my house so I do see some reflections of the object especially toward the end of the video. Other people on social media have reported seeing a similar object in this area but I am not sure of the exact time that they witnessed the object.

Ellipsoid-shaped reflective UFO gliding at high speed over the University of Chicago

What at first appeared to be a drone emerged into my sightline as I was sitting on the fifth floor of the Regenstein Library. As I put on my glasses, it didn't appear to be any kind of drone I knew. The UFO was metallic, almost a silver color, with a darker line in between the top and the bottom of the oval-shaped chassis. I was in the Air Force for six years, and would consider myself to be a professional plane-spotter. This was not an aircraft that I am familiar with. It moved similarly to a helicopter or drone, but had no propellers or engines that were visible. It moved fairly fast, at what I'd estimate to be 350 knots. I pulled out my phone to take a single photograph, which thankfully is a live photo (a short 2 second video), but the UFO was gone before I got a second one. As the UFO was moving, it was spinning in the air, which is visible in the photo. There appears to be a small beam in front of the UFO, but it may appear to be something pulling it along. As you can see in the picture, the sky was incredibly clear with few clouds.

Fireball lights that moved in sky then disappeared behind the night sky

I was sitting on my bed when i looked at my security camera and noticed circular lights on the screen. At first i thought they were fireflies but the lights appeared to be at a further distance. I got up and looked out my bedroom window on the second floor and witnessed what appeared to be fireballs in the sky but they were moving. I immediately woke my husband up and told him to look at the sky, “i think i see UAPs”. He looked and said, “Yeah, that does look strange”. I then ran to another window fully facing east and saw the orange lights flicker then ascend behind the night clouds. I believe my neighbor’s guests witnessed it too because they had a drone flying, looking East. I also noticed an aircraft flying high in the direction of the lights before they disappeared but this could not be caught in the camera. I reviewed my security camera that captured the lights moving as well as one light that appeared to shoot upwards after appearing to be close to the ground. When I rewinded the footage it appears that the sky flashed like an impending lightning then a few minutes later the lights appeared. Perhaps the flash was when they entered the atmosphere. I noticed there was another sighting tonight caught on the security camera, this time at 20:25pm. There were only two crafts this time.
