Multiple lights moving in rapid changing directions from still to various directions moving paralell to single file then dissapearing

this has been happening for weeks but tonight was beyond words, almost like there was a challenge between two of the lights. I saw several aircraft taking off in the same direction after the last sighting but tonight looked like there was something intentional and calculated. there were far too many lights moving in too many directions to make sense of it. Last time I had my neighbor come out and look, she witnessed the two lights going from parallel to single file very fast. I live in a dark sky reserve so it is very obvious when there are lights moving and they are not stars, planes or satellites.

Looking SE at the night sky/constellations for approximately 30 minutes; before going inside, saw a UAP in the shape of the number 3

The shape of the UAP was between the number three and a chevron. A chevron in that each curve of the UAP was more pointed than the number three would be on paper. My roommate and I also heard a high-pitched/unworldly noise, changing pitch simultaneously as we watched the UAP go across the sky without any visible lights. UAP was either very high in altitude and traveling very fast or about 200-1000 feet in the air. My conclusion is that the noise was some type of propulsion method that I have personally never witnessed and or some type of scanning which I had directly been in contact with. The UAP had no lights on it like an aircraft would, was only visible by the reflection of the moon, and was far bigger than any drone I have known to exist and traveled at a speed that I could not fathom.

Very very fast light that traveled across the sky

We were sitting at camp around the camp fire. There was cloud cover. I was facing south so my back was to the object. My brother in law saw it come over the mountains to the east and made a straight line across the sky from East to West. It was moving at a very very high rate of speed. He yelled at me and I turned around to see just the very end of it. He saw the complete travel of the object. It was a circular light that moved very fast then disappeared. There was no sound. Because of the cloud cover it created kind of like a purple aura around it. We have been out there and have seen shooting stars and comets and this was neither. When there is cloud cover we dont see those. The object had a bright enough light to shine thru the cloud cover and moved at a very very high rate of speed.

Watched something with a light in the sky for about an hour, then noticed more lights hovering in the sky.

I noticed a light in the sky outside my window at about 00:45 and assumed it was a plane or jet since there is an airport nearby and an air force base 45 minutes away. I see air traffic all the time and planes fly right over my house. I watched it for about an hour and it was still roughly in the same spot. It would move at times and shift, and sometimes it looked like it would rotate, but it stayed in the same general location for an hour. I tried to film it but my phone camera barely shows anything. It also looks like some stars are moving and it’s hard to make sense of what is there or if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

So I went outside to try and film it and get a better look and I noticed three more in the opposite direction that I mistook for the big dipper at first glance. It made my heart sink. I continued watching and unsuccessfully trying to film them. The original one is clear, the other three just look like they’re hovering in the distance, and sometimes I see things move out of the corner of my eye but it’s hard to tell what is actually moving and what is just stars that catch my eye in a weird way.

I can’t make out any discernible shape, but there is shape to them but mostly just a light. Mainly white but sometimes blue. It’s hard to tell the distance but they look too high to be drones flown by humans and they don’t move in a direction, they’ve been in roughly the same spot for about 3 hours now. It’s just bizarre.

Two bright red lights in sky doing corkscrew patterns and accelerating at a high speed and then coming to a dead stop

Let my dogs out at 1:30 in the morning when I saw bright red light doing a corkscrew pattern and then shooting from the west to the northern part of the sky. It also circled around another red craft. They would hover and then accelerate in all different directions. Eventually the two crafts came within range of each other and then both dropped straight down as if they were falling.

UAP Cutting Through Clouds in Meridian, Idaho. Red and White Orbs Shaped in a Cross

Driving along the I-84 highway heading West. My partner and I were driving toward the Eagle exit in Meridian Idaho. What I presumed to be a plane was throwing off my belief of it being so as upon further examination, there was something off with the lights being emitted that I know were not comparable with commercial passenger planes. Examining more thoroughly, there was a trail cutting through the clouds AS THE OBJECT WAS MOVING. There was seemingly no change of altitude either, I was shocked trying to get my partner to witness as I was, while driving, there was a “wall” of pine trees from a home that’s along the side of the highway. As I was trying to look through the trees, I could barely see the orbs through the trees. After we passed the trees, I faintly saw the object again, and sudden it vanished. Examining the clouds again, I could see a very sharp “right turn” cut through the clouds, something that could not be performed on a commercial passenger plane.

- My partner and I were going 65+ on highway
- Red and White orbs (8 total) in the shape of a cross
- It seemed close enough “to touch”
- Felt as if being stalked
- The clouds had partial coverage with mostly clear skies, the UAP only seemed to travel in the clouds.

I caught movement in the sky above me at about 10:20 PM

I was standing on my back deck with my dog at about 10:20 PM looking up and caught movement out of the corner of my eye. I never would have seen it otherwise.

When I looked right at it I could definitely see it was flying over my house. At first is looked like a giant transparent hang glider. There was white and transparent outlines. But overall a sort of triangle shape. It was completely quiet. I trained my eyes on it to be sure I was seeing it. It seemed fairly low in the sky and quite large. Maybe the size of a city block. There were no lights and I could see the sky through it almost like cellophane. It circled slightly and climbed straight up , leveled off heading north. I got frightened because I was standing in the light watching it so I took my dog back in the house. My dog didn't look up at it. I don't think he even knew it was there. I didn't move super fast but seemed to climb straight up at one point. It was headed north towards Shaffer Butte the last I saw.

5 fireballs cross the sky

I’m driving home and out of my driver side window I see what looks like a comet falling out of the sky, but it’s going upwards from my perception and it’s got a long fire tail and it kept moving from South West to South East and kept going and then it reached the middle of the sky where I’m looking, and it split off into five other tails And one of them in the center went way faster than the other 5 tails and then they all were just flying across the sky and then the one that was in the very front just kept going until I couldn’t see it anymore. The other 5 disappeared and faded away. It was unusually quiet outside as well when it happened. Couldn’t hear a thing like normal animal noises or night birds.

Observed multiple drones near Coeur d’Alene airport and flying in a circular pattern at low altitude over private neighborhoods.

Observed several drone-like aircraft with white and red lights flying over the Coeur d’Alene and Hayden, ID area. They were flying at a low altitude over private residential areas and over major thoroughfares. The craft were observed near the Coeur d’Alene airport with a secure fence and signage reading “aircraft operation area” and “civil air patrol.” It is likely these aircraft are operated by a para-government agency but why at night in private airspace at low altitude?

3 lights fading in and out traveling slowly in different directions

Ok... I'm not sure how else to explain this, but I think I just witnessed UFOs. As I was getting on the freeway in Nampa headed east towards Boise, I noticed 3 "stars" in our eastern sky that seemed out of place(I'm used to seeing the stars in that part of the sky as I'm facing it every morning going to work). Looking a little closer I realize they are moving and all in different directions. Hmmm? Airplanes? Continue watching... Suddenly all three fade out and disappear. A minute or so later they fade back in but are rearranged and are still moving different directions then fade back out. I watched this occur several times as I continued down the freeway to work some 20 miles. Then I watched it happen a few more times sitting in the parking lot at work. This video is the last cycle of this before I finally went inside. You will notice 3 lights fade in in the middle of view all slowly traveling in different directions and then slowly fade out.

One craft that was dark/black with blue, red and green lights alternately flashing. It reached a point over southwest Boise, immediately stopped and began to hover. It was moving in clockwise and counterclockwise directions while hovering at the same height.

I looked up and noticed a humongous object that was shaped like a horizontal crescent moving from east to west. It was very wide, up to 100 yards in width at appearance . There was no noise . I couldn't make out what exactly was in the center but it appeared the front had a smooth curve to it. The tips on the object were very pointed as well. It seemingly accelerated at the end of my visibility of the object.

At first I thought it was a cloud moving fast but when I finally locked my eyes onto it I could see a huge maybe 100-200 yard crescent shaped object in the sky. I stared at it in amazement and then when I saw it moving under clouds/ stars and blocking them out was when it startled me. It made no noise and moved at a fast steady pace. It has sharp tips on each end and the front was rounded with something in the center I couldn't make out. It appeared to be trying to blend in with the night sky. I was really shocked and ran in the house to get my daughter to see what I was seeing but it has flew past our sight. I'm reporting this in hopes other who saw (if any did) can help verify my sighting.

I noticed the orb at 5:25 pm and started recording at 5:30pm. I went to get my fancy camera to record it but that was dead. While charging it I got busy and when I came back 20 min later it was gone so I don't know how it left. It made no sound, was still the entire time I observed it and didn't have any sort of navigation light. If it was a helicopter we would have heard it because the object was very close and we live in a small valley. It was bright and big which ruled out drone. There is a ski resort in our town so I was thinking maybe it had something to do with them observing the snow pack but that doesn't make sense either.

I was looking in the South/Southeast direction and a light appeared, zoomed across for about 1-2 seconds and then disappeared

It was about 5 miles away inside our atmosphere, appeared and disappeared within seconds toward the lake in the area. Shortly after 3 black hawk helicopters circled the area for about an hour.

Fast moving lights fairly low flying , no noise.

My wife and I were enjoying a log fire outside and looking up at the stars .
Suddenly these lights appeared and were moving very fast in a SE direction.
At first I thought starlink but this was different. One bright white light in front followed by 3 dimmer lights in the shape of a triangle.

I didn’t have time to take a picture they were moving away so fast and no noise either.

The lights were quite low. There was a shooting star or meteor that can down vertically in the path of these lights

Saw what looked like a rocket moved through the night sky slowly got longer as it went up then disappeared but stayed solid line.

Driving east on Chinden saw large square object flying east and gaining altitude as it rose

As I was driving in heavy traffic I looked to my left and clearly saw the object flying at about 1500 above ground level and my estimation about 200 mph for speed. I managed to get to a spot where I could grab my phone and stop to photograph. The item appeared exactly square and I noticed only length and height, no depth. I visually watched the object until if flew out of sight gaining altitude.

On October 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., while driving on Highway 21 toward Lucky Peak, I noticed a blinking light near Schafer Butte. I estimated the altitude to be between 30,000 and 50,000 feet. The object was rapidly shifting horizontally from right to left, then would remain stationary for moments. It appeared to be traveling in a north or northeast direction. At one point, a commercial aircraft flew nearby, and the object would have been on its left side. Given its proximity, I assume it would have shown up on radar.

The object’s movement was too fast and erratic for any conventional aircraft, helicopter, or drone—more like the way a laser pointer behaves. Initially, I thought it was a commercial plane due to its blinking light, which followed the steady on/off pattern typical of aircraft. However, the commercial aircraft had multiple lights and moved steadily northward, in contrast to the object’s unusual, rapid movements. Due to the darkness, I couldn’t make out the object’s shape—only the single, solitary white blinking light.

Strange hovering light formation

Daughter and I were going home traveling east from rexburg to idaho falls. I had noticed what looked like an antenna from a building with blinking lights but knew for a fact there aren't building in that area tall enough for the antenna to be up so high. First noticed it around the Menan exit and was frying to squint to get a better look. I didn't say anything about it and shook it off. As we got to the County line exit theres less trees in the way i realized if it was an antenna then in should have passed it by now and it would have been behind me so i looked again and said to my daughter , do you see that up there? is it a plane or an antenna? She says probably a plane and barely glanced then does a double take and says no thats not nit a plane mom what is that?

We both look at each other and nervously laugh and say its a UFO!

Shes now looking intently at it and says its got a weird shape to it and its not moving. I'm driving and trying to look at it and sure enough its shaped like a tear drop and had circular lights spaced out all over it. The lights were blinking and they were bright then dim constantly blinking but when it was dim you could still see the shape if it but i could see sky and stars behind it. It was just hovering over town between Rigby and Ucon. Daughter says it's gone where did it go and shes looking out her window now and says mom its on the side but behind a bit. Then she says its gone again and I see its in my side again but higher now.

I decide to speed up and just get home all the while my daughter and I are laughing and trying to figure out what the heck we just saw did we see a ufo with a cloaking device that kept jumping around or were there more than one?
We didn't know for sure but we know what we saw was not an airplane a planet or an antenna. We were excited and hope we see them again

White Sphere Floating/ Moving Slowly over Boise mountains, Southwest Idaho

Shortly after dinner, while sitting around our campfire Friday evening August 9, 2024, my husband, son and I noticed a bright white object in the south facing sky. The sky was clear, the object seemed to be catching the light of the almost setting sun. My son thought it might be a weather balloon, but I haven't found any reports of a balloon in our area on this day. I looked at it with binoculars, it was definitely a perfect sphere. No tail or another other shape. It almost looked translucent with a curvy glow in the center, almost giving it a yin/yang sign appearance. The edges were glowing as well. Another 2 ladies walking by saw it too. It was too far away to get a good picture from our phones, but it was definitely in our atmosphere. With the naked eye it looked exactly like the white sphere reported in case #181937. It moved slowly, as if floating, to the East and then we lost sight if it behind the pine trees. There were several wildfires in nearby areas at the time, so wondering if it was possibly related. But I found an article about balloons used by the US Forest Service and it was much larger than the balloon in the video I saw. If I were to guess it was about the size of a hot air balloon, but did not look like a hot air balloon at all and was much further up in the sky. I would like to know what it was if that information is discovered.

I was letting my dog out at 2:40 AM when a bright white meteor streaked from Polaris to the southeast. I then saw what I thought was the bluish trail from another meteor crossing it's path heading from southwest to northeast all in the northeastern area below Polaris. The translucent blue cylinder shape was very well defined and about two inches long if measured with an outstretched hand. The object continued toward the northeast horizon in a straight path at very high altitude until it went behind the forest trees and out of sight. The whole sighting lasted about one minute.

Irregularly shaped white light seeing moving

At about 4 AM according to my fitness app, I went to go for a bike ride when I looked to the SE and saw an irregularly shaped white light move in the sky. Its color was an almost halo like glow, somewhat reminded me of a cool white LED. It seemed that its shape also slightly changed as it was moving and its luminosity may have slightly changed as well, although I am not as sure about that part due to the short duration and unexpectedness of the encounter. It then almost instantly vanished. My line of sight to it was unobstructed so it did not go behind anything. Although I did not have a sense of scale for it really, I had the feeling it was quite close, perhaps less than half a mile.

This was quite similar to a sighting I had (not reported) when I lived in Kitsap County, WA and was observing a lunar eclipse. I saw a rippling red light of a roughly triangular or V shape move across the sky at about 80 degrees of elevation. In contrast to this sighting, that light faded out much more slowly.
In both cases a good analogy for the rippling I witnessed is like if you have ever burned a Kleenex, the way the tissue and the glowing embers of it ripples and undulates as it burns and floats through the air.

I have had an extreme and keen interest in aviation for my entire life and am intimately familiar with the air traffic of both areas, as well as atmospheric illusions and optics, and how innocuous objects like Chinese lanterns can appear to be otherworldly—this was none of those.

A ghostly greenish (aurora colored), slightly translucent, but solid, perfect rod of light traveling straight but was diagonal itself.

Was camping with someone at the Clark Fork Driftyard, and amidst unpacking the vehicle, a rod of light caught my attention coming from the northwest (over by Sandpoint area) moving toward us. It kept a steady speed as it approached overhead, and as it passed, it was silent. We couldn't quite estimate it's distance, as it could've been in the upper atmosphere or further out into space. It was about and inch long from our observation point (indicating it had to have been pretty fair sized). We attempted to record it on an iPhone as it travelled overhead, but nothing of it showed up whatsoever in the video(s). I have seen Starlink satellites at various stages of their deployment and this looked distinctly different in several ways; 1: There appeared to be no individual lights or parts to it, including no areas that lit up more or less throughout the beam/rod, and no flashing parts anywhere 2: The color was a ghostly yellowish greenish color that resembled the aurora, and was slightly translucent, with no variations. 3: It travelled a straight path, everso slightly southeast (primarily eastward), however, it moved in a diagonal manner, as if it were a car that was drifting sideways. 4: I focused my eyes as best I could (I have great vision) on the shape of it in particular as it passed above, and it very clearly appeared the have sharp and distinguishable 90° corners to its shape, as in, it was not fuzzy around the edges, nor rounded in the front or back. It appeared to be a solid, continuous, ultrathin and long rectangle or rod of light. 5: At absolutely no point did it change in brightness or length as it first appeared all the way to its disappearance on the opposite horizon.

One other mentionable phenomenon from it, lastly, was that despite complete sobriety at the time of witnessing (no, we were not drinking or anything), we, despite standing next to each other watching it, immediately after described seeing two very different things… The other person described a "snake" of light, that undulated or swam/snaked across the sky. Meanwhile I very clearly saw a rectangular bar/rod, that traveled diagonally, yet straight.

Likely Chinese spy balloon. Due to cloud layers at the time and relatively slow speed of transit, altitude is estimated to have been greater than 20,000 feet.

Adult male and 9 year old child watched a orb/sphere move slowly in the sky, and it looked like there was propulsion out of bottom.

I (adult male) was driving southbound on Vista Ave. in Boise, ID. at 5:07 pm with my 9-year-old daughter and spotted a very bright white orb in the sky. It was hard to determine if the object was moving or not but it looked out of place. We turned west into my neighborhood, parked our car and took a couple of videos. In one of the videos it was apparent that the orb was moving slowly in an eastward direction. With the naked eye it looked as if something was emitting from the bottom of the orb, and upon looking cloer at the video it appears to be some sort of propulsion or light emission. The object moved behind a tree and my video ended there. However, we continued to watch the orb for about 10 more minutes. After it came out from behind the tree it seemed to stop moving and just drift very slowly into the distance. I had to go inside because my dogs were barking and my wife called me in for dinner, but after dinner I went back outisde to see if it was still there and it was extremely faint but still in the same location.

Me and my friend where going to his house, and we saw a floating orb over his neighbor's house. The cows in the field next to it where all mooing and staring at it. It then flew off into the canyon a few seconds later. I noticed that the cars radio had started getting static-ie when we got closer to it.

Driving home with a friend and saw it over my neighbor's house

I was driving home with my friend when we saw a floating white orb in the sky. It had four flashing rainbow lights that I could see. After a few seconds it flew off towards the canyon at incredible speeds and disappeared around a bend or butte. My neighbor's cows were all looking at it from a good distance and mooing. Neighbor wasn't home at the time.

Multiple silver reflective orbs dancing in the sky. They made v shapes periodically. Kayaking early afternoon.

My wife and I went kayaking About 12pm this afternoon. We moved around tubbs hill. We noticed a collection of reflective orbs changing shapes and reflecting in and out of the light on the 3rd street entrance side. It was about 1:03pm. They appeared silver and round with no obvious drone like propeller blades. We observed them in broad day light for about 6 to 8 minutes. Changing patterns and moving in random at the same time. They did not seem to emit any sound. We watched as they collectively headed northeast. Over the course of observing them, they achieved a variety of positions in the air, including v shaped patterns.

Reddish shovel shaped aircraft, which appeared to be jet propelled, passed fairly quietly over north face of Scotchman Peak.

I and three friends happened to be in the right place at the right time to see a strange aircraft fly past our position. The aircraft was jet-propelled, I feel fairly certain of this because its sound was very much in line with the sound of a small civilian jet aircraft, and also because the craft had visible inlets and exhaust. The weird parts about this thing were as follows: 1 color. The whole thing was red, orangeish-red, not actually quite rust red, but I'm not sure of the name for the hue it was. 2 shape of the airframe. The thing had all the parts of a modern man-made aircraft; engines, verticle stabilizer, seemingly viable wing/airfoil, and tinted black canopy. The weird bits were that the top-down or bottom-up view of the thing was shovel-shaped. I can't really think of any other way to describe it, the leading edges and trailing edges of the wing curved out from the aircraft center but came to a point at the nose and to brief straight back lines at the wingtips. We saw the craft in what appeared to be a gradual bank as it passed our vantage point. 3 it left no contrails or any other sort of vapor or exhaust trail, this in spite of flying fast enough to produce a vapor trail. 4 the sound of its engines sounded too weak for its apparent speed suggested by the vapor cone and the short duration of our sighting. The other three of us assumed collectively that what we saw must be some new military stealth tech, given the craft's fuselage was blended into the wing and did not protrude from the leading or trailing edge, which reminded us of a stealth bomber, but I'm uncertain for the following reasons: 1 once again color, why the hell does someone paint their advanced military jet like it’s a barn? 2 the tubes that seemed to house the engine were not blended into the fuselage very well, and sort of appeared to sit atop the base of the wing either side of the fuselage, this plus the straight upwards sizable vertical stabilizer seem like they would destroy the stealth capabilities of the design. 3 no hardpoints or weapons of any kind were visible.

I'm not sure who built that jet or how to explain its weird characteristics. I'm also not really sure if this counts as a UFO, but I've been thinking about this nonstop since I saw it, and my friends started to tease me about it. I needed to get my thoughts out somewhere, and was also curious to see if anyone else had filed a report of similar description, nobody has as far as I could find.

Three balls of light in a triangle shape that were about two hundred feet off the ground were moving a slow pace.

As I was driving home, I saw three white balls of light in a triangle formation moving at a steady pace towards my direction. They moved together like it was one object but I couldn't see anything in between the lights. They were going not much faster than I was which was around fifty mph. They were about two hundred feet high just off the side of the road. I saw them for about 7 seconds and when they reached my 9 o'clock they disappeared.

Inverted V shaped, 7 bright lights,fast moving , no sound traveling north to northeast

I am an insomniac and was wide awake. I was retrieving my dog from early yard relief visit at about 3:15-3:20 am. I looked out over roof far out beyond the eves of doorway to check on icicles/ ice and then took a look at the clear , cloudless sky and bright stars. A clear , inverted v (chevron) shaped dark grayish object but lighter than sky , thin in shape of v but large size like a jet in v mid length at the distance and not exactly close nor too far away ( distance is hard for me but maybe 1/4- 1/2 mile up) with 7 bright lights on the v shape ( one at point and three on each side) zipped into my site from eves and shot over my head from left to right ( North - Northeast) in a slight arc and corner of deck and out of my view in about 1 second. Very distinct shape, very clear, dull not shimmery lights , very fast zip, soundless. I did not go out on deck- too icy. Houses are close together to see more. By the time I got out it would have been gone.

While pruning a tree observed objects circling est. 5000 ft above surface.

Working in back yard, first observed 3 or 4 light objects circling in sky, sun glinting on portions of the rotation. Soon observed very large group, not well organized but in general also circling. Seemed extremely high elevation for flock of birds, is what grabbed my attention. I've experienced seeing flocks
of sea hills in perhaps similar patterns, only near the surface of the ground. So high and distant, I could not determine size, or shape to confirm if birds or..drones, which I quickly came to question the possibility of.

I observed their activity about 30 minutes, until I was distracted then I returned and they were gone.

Dark object moving slowly just after dusk.

A dark slow moving object, looking longer in a vertical direction. I watched for about a minute trying to figure out what I was seeing. I went out on the deck and watched and then tried to take a photo. Using the night mode setting on my cellphone I did capture the object. The picture quality is not good, but it appears the object had rotated, now looking longer in a horizontal direction. My husband also saw the object. When I first saw it, it was moving parallel to our house, coming from the West. As it got closer to our house, it slowly turned North and gained altitude. I am a 51 year old native Idahoan and work full-time. My husband is 53 and works full-time as a Law School Professor.

White sphere darts across highway above car

I was driving with my fiance from Northern Idaho to Jackpot NV. We were in the middle of nowhere, I believe we had already passed Twin Falls but it may have occurred between Boise and Twin Falls. It was a clear night punctuated with patches of dense fog. When we hit the first patch of fog a white sphere shot across the road above our car and was gone in less than a second. We both shouted and gasped WTF!? It was clear as day, moving at an incredible speed, clearly visible through the dense fog (now obscuring the stars), made no sound and left no trail. In the moment the best size comparison I could think of was a basketball at the height of a streetlight. My fiance thought it may have been further away and larger, her guess was 100 ft away and 30 ft across.

About an hour later she was asleep. I first saw a small shooting star (tiny with a trail, about 1 inch across my field of view) then I saw a similar white sphere as before (this time much smaller and further away but significantly larger than a shooting star). This sphere shot across my entire field of view from left to right in a second or two before fading off into the distance. My jaw dropped. It was the fastest thing I've ever seen but still no trail, no sound. Totally clear view at the time.

First, I thought of the position of the planet Venus at that time…until I took enlarged pictures…

From 1978 to this day, I believe I saw 3 UFOs (Unknown Flying Objects). One when I was an ATC (Air Traffic controller) in the Air Force, another one when I was a Flight Attendant and another one as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI ) pilot. Those UFOs had different shapes such as diamond shape and croissant shape.

Last night, I woke up at 5am. I saw a bright light in the sky from my bed. I leave by the Lake Pend’Oreille in Sandpoint, Idaho. I walked to the balcony. First I thought it was the position on the planet Venus at that time (5:10am). Considering the rotation of the Earth, that “thing” was not moving. Then I began to take pictures with my cell phone. And this is what is appearing (see pictures)!

I leave the analysis and conclusion to the experts. But please let me know the verdict!

Long stream of bluish Points of Light moving at a rapid speed across the sky between cloudbreaks

I am not sure how many objects I just witnessed, (I had to put a number in the box) because they were in a long stream moving rapidly across the sky between the clouds. They were moving very fast and went behind the cloud at a high rate of speed. I clicked on my sky app looking for starlink satellites because I thought this must be what I just saw, but from what I understand starlink satellites do not move extremely fast, nor are they blue, but there were no starlinks displaying on my screen moving in this direction. These were distinctly blue and we're moving rapidly, so rapidly it made me think of a weapon being fired that leaves a trail of light behind it. They were coming from the west and headed east and I caught them while I was glancing up to see a storm headed up from the southwest and there are some lightning flashes down there. And I could just barely see the moon behind the clouds due south of these objects. If they turn out to be starlink satellites I apologize but I can't imagine that they were. The gap in the clouds that I saw these through, was as wide as the space created when I hold my arm at full length toward the sky, and splay my fingers outward, from the tip of my thumb to the tip of my middle finger. They were very, very small points of bluish light, looking like nothing I've witnessed before.

Orange lights in the sky with smooth but random movement that joined in formation to form a triangle, then accelerated away from us.

I work medevac and fly on a pilatus PC-12. We were en route from Salt Lake City UT to Idaho Falls ID. We started tracking a series of lights (3-4) to the North East of our position around the time we hit the Idaho/Utah border. One of the lights appeared to have a parallel flight trajectory to the east of us off our right wing. It was several miles out. We radioed in to the SLC ATC and inquired if there was any traffic in our vicinity. We were instructed that there was no traffic. No other aircraft responded on the radio about being in the area. There was nothing on radar or a transponder signal. Eventually the light disappeared, but reappeared at a higher altitude, and there was 3-4 lights moving at a speed not consistent with any aircraft that we would be familiar with moving in random but smooth patterns. We were at 20k feet. These lights would fade in and out and all have different vectors. Eventually they all met up, formed a triangle formation with 3 points of light (one on each corner) and one faint light in the middle and it moved up and vanished. We landed at Idaho Falls and still noticed 1-2 lights at a time coming down (possibly through the atmosphere) flying in random patterns at different points in the sky, then vanishing. This whole phenomenon lasted about 45 minutes. We are pretty used to seeing meteor showers at night since we fly a lot of night missions, but none of these lights had the characteristics of meteors based on movement. It was very awesome to see.

Saw it above my house this morning and took pictures

I saw a strange light which I assumed was a satellite or a drone so I took pictures. When you zoom in on them they show what appears to be a shiny round object. It sat still in the sky for 15 min or so then vanished suddenly.

Orange ball of light rises over tree line and zig zags vertically before rising into air while fading out, faded back in higher up

My fiance and I were on my mom's property attempting to view the northern lights. No color was visible but the sky was lit up behind the pitch black hills making it easy to differentiate between hills and the sky. We pulled our car onto an inclined driveway facing north towards the hills, parked, and sat watching the sky. After about 30 minutes, I was zoned out looking out the driver side window in a North-West direction. An orange ball of light rose over the black tree line in the distance. From my line of sight it was roughly the color of a planet but twice or three times the size (about the size of a pencil eraser in my field of view). For the first few seconds I assumed it was a plane flying towards me and so appeared to rise over the trees at a slight angle. Then it dramatically zigzagged up and down three times (about 2 inches of movement in my field of view) before veering upwards quickly. While heading upwards it faded out to nothing over the course of a second. A second later it faded back in, now higher up in the sky, then faded back out again over another second. From my field of view it started over a treeline but ended up over a larger hillside (about 6-8 inches of horizontal movement in my field of view). I pointed and shouted look to my fiance when it first started zigzagging but she didn't see it. I don't know the exact distance to the treeline but they are several properties over from my mom's house. This is rural Idaho so it's hard to express how dark of a landscape it is at night.

Went outside to watch a lightning storm go by. I saw a red star shaped object travel out of a lightning filled storm cell into clear skies for 5 seconds and then it went into another cell. Seconds later another red object
followed in the same direction. Traveling south to north.

Bright orb light moving thru the trees and into the sky

I videotaped it moving up thru the trees and up to the sky. It would flash in my direction.Almost blinding me at times. It took 7minutes to come from the middle of the trees to the sky. I zoomed in repeatedly and even showed the sky and stars in comparison, as it was like nothing else in the sky. It appeared round very very large and bright. When I zoomed in you could see objects spinning around it and glowing rainbow like colors at one point when I zoomed in it went to a rectangle shape that is yellowish. When it was in the trees there was no land near it or past it. It was at least 40 to 60 foot above land in the trees, then slowly moves thru the tree line and then above the trees. It eventually went farther up into the sky and got smaller and smaller as if it was moving further away. There was no one around that area and it was just as the sunrise was happening.

Strange object in the sky

I'm a hobbiest photographer. I had my camera set up on a tri pod and was doing what is called photo bracketing. I took a series of 4 shots at different shutter speeds. The four photos were taken within seconds of each other. It wasnt until I got home and was processing the photos that I came across something odd in only one of the photos. At first it appeared that my camera lens was dirty, but when I zoomed in on the photo I found something very strange in the left hand side along with all the other clutter in the photo. Everyone who has seen the photo so far agree that its very strange.

An extraordinary close encounter with a UFO in central Idaho in 1974.

I am a professional writer and the following short story is from an autobiographical memoir I am writing. I hope someone in your organization will enjoy reading it.

The Detroit-Superior Bridge is a huge industrial marvel serving as a portal to downtown Cleveland from the affluent bedroom community of Bay Village on Lake Erie where he and his best friend since childhood grew up.

It was the night before high school graduation in the Spring of 1974 when he and Steve made their way across the bridge and down to the “Flats,” a dark and dank place on the infamous Cuyahoga River (so polluted from chemical waste at the time it had the ignominious distinction of the “River that caught on fire.”)

The Flats had a sordid past. In the 60s it was where sailors and steel workers would go to drink hard, find women and frequently fight outside the old bars, few and far between the warehouses and old buildings found there. The Flats had a reputation as a very dangerous place, especially at night and the early hours of the morning.

In the 70s the Flats transitioned into something of an entertainment district; some of the bars and warehouses were converted into music venues. The punk rock movement emerged from here and so did Cleveland’s reputation as the country’s home of rock n’ roll.

What transpired that night set the tone for the next year in the boys’ lives.

He had a vivid memory of drinking at the Pirate’s Cove and old Harbor Inn, the latter dating back to the late 1800s. He had an even more vivid memory of walking over to the mouth of the Cuyahoga River and the edifice known as the Iron Curtain Bridge, a heavily used railroad lift bridge spanning the width of the river. The bridge raised and lowered horizontally to allow the huge freighters transporting iron ore to access the steel mills up river. The bridge lowers in order to accommodate the dozens of trains that traverse the area on a daily basis.

The bridge raises to a height of 97 feet - almost the height of a ten story building- by a system of cables and counterweights. The boys had the brilliant idea to climb the elevated bridge in pitch black darkness to watch the sun rise and enjoy the views of the city.

Steve led the way and he followed, but stopped at the train rails, next to a giant counterweight, while Steve traversed the tracks to the middle of the bridge. All was well until suddenly there was a loud noise and the great Iron Curtain Bridge began to lower.

He was petrified, having no idea how the mechanics of the bridge worked, worrying he might be crushed at any second. Steve reappeared out of the darkness and with one of the greatest understatements in the history of mankind said, I think we better get down. Steve led the way like a monkey on fire followed by his tremulous friend.

Many years later, recounting their adventure, Steve laughingly said, I think if we did that today we would get arrested.

And so it began.

The next day he graduated from high school and the two made final preparations for leaving Bay Village. Steve had purchased an old green 1961 Dodge half- ton pickup truck, which they naturally nicknamed “Old Paint.”

They worked to make it road-worthy and even went to a salvage yard where they found an old station wagon with a roof rack they modified to fit on top of Old Paint’s cab. The idea was to have a way to get onto the roof to sit and enjoy the scenery as they made their way through beautiful canyons, blankets of pine forests and rolling rivers. They packed up their worldly possessions- their mothers loaded the truck with groceries convinced the two were going to starve to death - and they embarked on a long-planned trip out west to the mountains of Idaho where they planned to work at his uncle’s Grizzly Bear Pizza parlor in Boise.

Their route took them through Minneapolis and then across the never-ending plains until they entered Montana. It was dark out when they decided to pull off the road and set up their small two-man pup tent and get some sleep.

When they woke up the next morning he was surprised to learn they were not alone. Below them in a little valley was what appeared to be a little community of Amish-looking homesteaders, the women covered in white head scarves and long black dresses. From what he could tell they were living without the benefit of electricity, running water, or indoor plumbing. He couldn’t help but notice the furtive glances of the young women going about their chores appraising these “outsiders,” barely clothed, camped up the hill.

It was then it really hit him he was entering a different world. The comfort and privilege of his youth was now far behind them as they began the long and beautiful drive down through Big Sky country to Idaho. Manicured lawns and the rust belt were replaced by endless miles of pine forests and the rugged peaks of the Bitteroot Mountains to the west and the clear, clean and fast running waters of the Upper Salmon River to the east.

When they reached Idaho they stopped in a classic Old West general store where a young cowboy came through the door with a very large gun prominently strapped to a well worn leather belt around his muscular waist. Under a large cowboy hat was a handsome tanned face and a curious expression as he eyed the two skinny, long-haired boys who were obvious “flat landers” from somewhere east. Dorothy, he thought to himself, we ain’t in Kansas no more.

Once they reached Idaho 21, which ended in the sparsely populated town of Stanley, with the spectacular Sawtooth mountains as a backdrop, they headed west on the winding two-lane paved highway toward Boise, running along the Upper Fork of the Payette River, past Kirkham Hot Springs, the rustic log general store and bar in Lowman. Behind Lowman, with its few cabins, was a dirt, two-track logging road that unbeknownst to them rose up to Bear Valley, which would soon play a big role in their lives.

In 1989, tragically, Lowman, at an elevation of only 3,801 feet, was devastated by a wildfire that destroyed 75 square miles of pristine pine forests. From Lowman, Idaho 21 rises through a series of steep switchbacks to cross over Beaver Creek summit at 6,041 ft. and then drops through the Ponderosa Pine National Forest for ten miles before they ascended the steep 7,000 ft. Mores summit.

After descending the summit, the two-lane highway followed a serpentine route through the most beautiful and vast wilderness in the world. Eventually, they broke through the towering pine forests to the sagebrush strewn terrain that greets travelers entering the old mining town of Idaho City.

Once a boom town built during the Gold Rush of the 1800s, with a population of 5,000, Idaho City was now a ghost town with only a few remaining bars and small cafes, and a permanent population of only a couple hundred. They pullled off the road to a sad excuse for a gas station, with just a couple old Texaco pumps, in front of a cinder block building that advertised itself as The Beer Garden. They went inside and surveyed the clientele, mostly forest workers, occasional miners and truckers who stopped in to enjoy the cheap beer and camaraderie of their friends. After a few beers and friendly conversation with the locals he couldn’t help but notice a gregarious and boisterous older man holding court at the end of the bar. In well-worn jeans and cowboy boots he sported a very large six-shooter hanging heavily from his belt. His curiosity got the best of him and he walked over and introduced himself to the man known to everyone as Wild Bill Allen. To most in the bar this larger-than life character (spelled with a capital “C”), was known by his curious moniker, “Ferd Berfle.”

Can I ask you a question?, he asked Ferd hesitantly. Do you need a permit to carry that gun?

Ferd laughed, obviously several beers and whiskeys into the day. His friends laughed along with him, Yeah, I got a permit, he said, in fact I got six of them. With that he pulled his hand cannon out of its holster and deftly flipped open the chamber from the gun and one-by-one released the bullets and offered them for inspection in the palm of a weathered and leathery hand.

This is all the permit I goddamn need, he laughed, in a voice that challenged anyone to disagree with him.

He would soon come to understand they had traded the oppressive police presence of their former life in Bay Village for an unfamiliar life of Old West lawlessness. In fact, in the ensuing years when he lived in the mountains he could’t ever remember seeing a law enforcement officer.

Over a few more beers the boys explained their journey and destination. Ferd asked them if, instead of making pizzas in the city, if they would rather work in the outback making some real money. He had a firewood cutting operation in the hills, he told them, north of Idaho City.

Reminiscing, many years later, neither could remember the exact terms, but they were told they would be paid by the cord they cut. If they had their own chainsaws they would be paid even more.

They didn’t need to be asked twice. Flipping pizzas in Boise was always just a means to an end, which was working and living in the mountains. They signed on immediately, got directions to the camp, and headed down to Floyd’s A1 Saw Shop in Boise, still a little city, to spend their life savings.

Floyd was a kindly old man who owned a small one-man shop servicing and selling nothing but chainsaws. He was a card-carrying Mormon who was extremely helpful outfitting the boys with everything they would need for their new job. When they went to pay, a bill in the hundreds of dollars, Floyd stunned them when he wouldn’t take their money.

When you two start making money, he told them, come back down and pay me. He didn’t ask them to sign anything, leave anything for collateral, nothing. They just walked out the door with their new saws and Good Luck wishes from a man he would always remember as one of the nicest human beings he ever met.

They headed back up Highway 21 to Idaho City and headed north on a dirt road, past the old saloons with their wooden boardwalks, past Boot Hill Cemetery (today a tourist attraction) and then deep back into the woods, where the only sign of life was an occasional homesteader’s cabin. Coming down one hill they were amazed to see off to the side of the road a very old woman working a plot of land alone with a horse-drawn single-wedge plow. Were they really living in the late 20th Century?

When they finally arrived at the camp they were greeted by a group of backwoods miscreants loaded with beer and long guns. Steve remembers driving into the camp as akin to walking into a real-life set from the movie “Deliverance.” Even the camp cook kept a 12-gauge shotgun next to her at all times. What they didn’t know is this crew was all related and actively feuding with a rival gang of cousins who stole a cow, or goat, or chickens; something stupid.

They did hard work for a couple weeks, paid off their saws, and on weekend nights went into Idaho City when they had time and money. On these much anticipated nights the few bars in Idaho City were filled with ranchers, loggers and miners who drove fancy trucks and wore nice clean clothes: they obviously made money and were ordering fancy drinks for themselves and the mostly attractive women with them, who were wearing pretty skirts and dresses and sported feminine, thin-soled shoes, unlike the boots worn by their camp cook or the old woman plowing her field.

At the Miner’s Exchange, their favorite saloon of all time, they were greeted by a sign that read “Check All Guns and Knives at the Bar.” Hello again Dorothy!

It didn’t take them long to figure out that loggers made a lot more money than cutting firewood (Ferd neglected to tell them that in addition to cutting the firewood they also had to split and load the pitch-pine onto his truck, which he then hauled to sell in Boise and Sun Valley), It was backbreaking and exhausting work.

After awhile they learned who to talk to in the logging business and they met Greg Harp, foreman of a gyppo operation, a small contract logging operation- often associated with renegades and misfits - owned by the MacGregor Triangle Ranch.

After a deck of logs rolled onto a 19-year-old, a position opened up and they soon found themselves moving to Bear Valley.

They would work sun up to sun down, usually six days a week. On their day off they would drive down to Boise to provision themselves for the next week.

It was on one of these drives that it happened, an extraordinary experience they would tell (and be asked to retell) the rest of their lives.

It was a beautiful summer day when they were a few miles past Idaho City. Steve was driving when, about a mile from the road, high up in the tree line, he noticed a large and extremely bright light. He pointed it out to Steve.

What is that? he asked. Steve slowed down. They knew nobody lived up there. It couldn’t be a forest fire. There was no smoke or flames. It was stationary, multi-colored and glowing.

In less than a second, in literally a blink of the eye, the light was next to them, hovering just off to the side of the road and slightly below them over a culvert of sage brush. At least ten times the size of Old Paint, it made no noise, created no wind; it was an otherworldly object of spinning lights. It was obvious to them it was extraterrestrial.

Stop! You have to stop! We can go meet them! We’ll go on the Johnny Carson show!, he shouted!

But when he looked back at Steve, he could tell by the look on Steve’s face he had no intention of stopping.

Are you crazy, Steve shouted back at him, as he was climbing out the window to get on top of the truck for a better look. They’ll suck out our brains and put us in a zoo on Mars! he said (and he was serious).

He stared at the object for as long as he could before a curve in the road took them out of its sight. Once he was certain it wasn’t following them he climbed back into the cab.

What the fuck was that? he asked, breathlessly.

I have no idea, Steve answered, wide-eyed and in disbelief at what they just experienced. But let’s get outta here!

Steve’s memory almost 50 years later:

They drove on for about another ten miles before they came up on a bar in a dilapidated building, maybe an old converted double-wide trailer.

They parked out front and rushed inside, eager to tell their story. They were greeted by a bar full of rough necks not in the least bit interested in their gibberish; they were doing a shit poor job of communicating what they had just experienced.

One stand out moment came from a dangerous looking, unkempt woodsmen who appraised them skeptically and said only: Your hairs grown so long it’s pulled your brains out. In a moment of lucidity they decided it was best if they took their leave of this fine establishment.

They said they wanted to make a police report- the nearest station being in Boise - and they were directed to a pay phone outside an adjacent building. Once they were in the dusty parking lot Steve was followed by a fortunately friendly man.

Listen, he said, every guy in that bar has seen some weird shit up here, they just weren’t going to talk about it. He quizzed Steve about the shape and size of what they saw. Was it a dirigible shape? Spherical? He had no doubt what the boys saw was real and an extraordinary extraterrestrial encounter.

Steve made the call to the station and reported to the dispatcher what they experienced. Instead of being ignored or ridiculed they were surprised to be treated respectfully and were asked to come into the station to file a report.

They drove the 90 miles down to Boise and walked into the station, not a comfortable environment for two boys who had spent their adolescence trying to avoid the law.

They were led into a large room with a boardroom table and told they would be joined shortly by officers who wanted to hear their story. What they didn’t know is every cop working that night had been notified that these two young loggers were coming in to tell an incredible story. One by one the room filled with uniforms until it was standing room only. You could have heard a pin drop.

They listened to their story without saying a word. When they were done they filed out of the room without so much as a word between them, his memory being they were considering what they had just heard. Who were these two long-hairs? Why would they drive all the way into Boise to make a police report if they weren’t convinced of what they experienced?

A couple of the younger cops hung back and Steve remembered one saying, I believe them, my Uncle says he saw something just like what they saw.

The boys walked out of the station and into the quiet, warm summer night. Decades later, through images captured by the extraordinarily powerful telescopes probing deep space, we are learning vast new information about our universe.

He remembered an interview with an astrophysicist: What is the one fact about the universe that blows your mind the most? the physicist was asked. “Not only just the size and scale of it; in the piece of the universe we can see, there are something like roughly two trillion galaxies…we haven’t counted them all but that’s an estimate based on surveys of the local universe. Two trillion, two thousand billion galaxies. And each galaxy is, let’s say, around the size of the Milky Way - some are bigger and some are smaller - but the Milky Way has 400 billion stars in it. It takes light over 100 thousand years to cross the galaxy. And there are two trillion of them in the piece of the universe we can see. And we are very sure that the piece we can see is a small bit of what may be an infinite universe beyond. We don’t know, actually. Don’t get worried about that because nobody can picture it. It is impossible to visualize the scale of the universe.”

He knew what he saw was not from earth, so did Steve. They also knew they were among the very few humans ever to be feet away from an extraterrestrial object. A UFO.

Once they reached Idaho 21, which ended in the sparsely populated town of Stanley, with the spectacular Sawtooth mountains as a backdrop, they headed west on the winding two-lane paved highway toward Boise, running along the Upper Fork of the Payette River, past Kirkham Hot Springs, the rustic log general store and bar in Lowman. Behind Lowman, with its few cabins, was a dirt, two-track logging road that unbeknownst to them rose up to Bear Valley, which would soon play a big role in their lives.

In 1989, tragically, Lowman, at an elevation of only 3,801 feet, was devastated by a wildfire that destroyed 75 square miles of pristine pine forests. From Lowman, Idaho 21 rises through a series of steep switchbacks to cross over Beaver Creek summit at 6,041 ft. and then drops through the Ponderosa Pine National Forest for ten miles before they ascended the steep 7,000 ft. Mores summit.

After descending the summit, the two-lane highway followed a serpentine route through the most beautiful and vast wilderness in the world. Eventually, they broke through the towering pine forests to the sagebrush strewn terrain that greets travelers entering the old mining town of Idaho City.

Once a boom town built during the Gold Rush of the 1800s, with a population of 5,000, Idaho City was now a ghost town with only a few remaining bars and small cafes, and a permanent population of only a couple hundred. They pullled off the road to a sad excuse for a gas station, with just a couple old Texaco pumps, in front of a cinder block building that advertised itself as The Beer Garden. They went inside and surveyed the clientele, mostly forest workers, occasional miners and truckers who stopped in to enjoy the cheap beer and camaraderie of their friends. After a few beers and friendly conversation with the locals he couldn’t help but notice a gregarious and boisterous older man holding court at the end of the bar. In well-worn jeans and cowboy boots he sported a very large six-shooter hanging heavily from his belt. His curiosity got the best of him and he walked over and introduced himself to the man known to everyone as Wild Bill Allen. To most in the bar this larger-than life character (spelled with a capital “C”), was known by his curious moniker, “Ferd Berfle.”

Can I ask you a question?, he asked Ferd hesitantly. Do you need a permit to carry that gun?

Ferd laughed, obviously several beers and whiskeys into the day. His friends laughed along with him, Yeah, I got a permit, he said, in fact I got six of them. With that he pulled his hand cannon out of its holster and deftly flipped open the chamber from the gun and one-by-one released the bullets and offered them for inspection in the palm of a weathered and leathery hand.

This is all the permit I goddamn need, he laughed, in a voice that challenged anyone to disagree with him.

He would soon come to understand they had traded the oppressive police presence of their former life in Bay Village for an unfamiliar life of Old West lawlessness. In fact, in the ensuing years when he lived in the mountains he could’t ever remember seeing a law enforcement officer.

Over a few more beers the boys explained their journey and destination. Ferd asked them if, instead of making pizzas in the city, if they would rather work in the outback making some real money. He had a firewood cutting operation in the hills, he told them, north of Idaho City.

Reminiscing, many years later, neither could remember the exact terms, but they were told they would be paid by the cord they cut. If they had their own chainsaws they would be paid even more.

They didn’t need to be asked twice. Flipping pizzas in Boise was always just a means to an end, which was working and living in the mountains. They signed on immediately, got directions to the camp, and headed down to Floyd’s A1 Saw Shop in Boise, still a little city, to spend their life savings.

Floyd was a kindly old man who owned a small one-man shop servicing and selling nothing but chainsaws. He was a card-carrying Mormon who was extremely helpful outfitting the boys with everything they would need for their new job. When they went to pay, a bill in the hundreds of dollars, Floyd stunned them when he wouldn’t take their money.

When you two start making money, he told them, come back down and pay me. He didn’t ask them to sign anything, leave anything for collateral, nothing. They just walked out the door with their new saws and Good Luck wishes from a man he would always remember as one of the nicest human beings he ever met.

They headed back up Highway 21 to Idaho City and headed north on a dirt road, past the old saloons with their wooden boardwalks, past Boot Hill Cemetery (today a tourist attraction) and then deep back into the woods, where the only sign of life was an occasional homesteader’s cabin. Coming down one hill they were amazed to see off to the side of the road a very old woman working a plot of land alone with a horse-drawn single-wedge plow. Were they really living in the late 20th Century?

When they finally arrived at the camp they were greeted by a group of backwoods miscreants loaded with beer and long guns. Steve remembers driving into the camp as akin to walking into a real-life set from the movie “Deliverance.” Even the camp cook kept a 12-gauge shotgun next to her at all times. What they didn’t know is this crew was all related and actively feuding with a rival gang of cousins who stole a cow, or goat, or chickens; something stupid.

They did hard work for a couple weeks, paid off their saws, and on weekend nights went into Idaho City when they had time and money. On these much anticipated nights the few bars in Idaho City were filled with ranchers, loggers and miners who drove fancy trucks and wore nice clean clothes: they obviously made money and were ordering fancy drinks for themselves and the mostly attractive women with them, who were wearing pretty skirts and dresses and sported feminine, thin-soled shoes, unlike the boots worn by their camp cook or the old woman plowing her field.

At the Miner’s Exchange, their favorite saloon of all time, they were greeted by a sign that read “Check All Guns and Knives at the Bar.” Hello again Dorothy!

It didn’t take them long to figure out that loggers made a lot more money than cutting firewood (Ferd neglected to tell them that in addition to cutting the firewood they also had to split and load the pitch-pine onto his truck, which he then hauled to sell in Boise and Sun Valley), It was backbreaking and exhausting work.

After awhile they learned who to talk to in the logging business and they met Greg Harp, foreman of a gyppo operation, a small contract logging operation- often associated with renegades and misfits - owned by the MacGregor Triangle Ranch.

After a deck of logs rolled onto a 19-year-old, a position opened up and they soon found themselves moving to Bear Valley.

They would work sun up to sun down, usually six days a week. On their day off they would drive down to Boise to provision themselves for the next week.

It was on one of these drives that it happened, an extraordinary experience they would tell (and be asked to retell) the rest of their lives.

It was a beautiful summer day when they were a few miles past Idaho City. Steve was driving when, about a mile from the road, high up in the tree line, he noticed a large and extremely bright light. He pointed it out to Steve.

What is that? he asked. Steve slowed down. They knew nobody lived up there. It couldn’t be a forest fire. There was no smoke or flames. It was stationary, multi-colored and glowing.

In less than a second, in literally a blink of the eye, the light was next to them, hovering just off to the side of the road and slightly below them over a culvert of sage brush. At least ten times the size of Old Paint, it made no noise, created no wind; it was an otherworldly object of spinning lights. It was obvious to them it was extraterrestrial.

Stop! You have to stop! We can go meet them! We’ll go on the Johnny Carson show!, he shouted!

But when he looked back at Steve, he could tell by the look on Steve’s face he had no intention of stopping.

Are you crazy, Steve shouted back at him, as he was climbing out the window to get on top of the truck for a better look. They’ll suck out our brains and put us in a zoo on Mars! he said (and he was serious).

He stared at the object for as long as he could before a curve in the road took them out of its sight. Once he was certain it wasn’t following them he climbed back into the cab.

What the fuck was that? he asked, breathlessly.

I have no idea, Steve answered, wide-eyed and in disbelief at what they just experienced. But let’s get outta here!

Steve’s memory almost 50 years later:

They drove on for about another ten miles before they came up on a bar in a dilapidated building, maybe an old converted double-wide trailer.

They parked out front and rushed inside, eager to tell their story. They were greeted by a bar full of rough necks not in the least bit interested in their gibberish; they were doing a shit poor job of communicating what they had just experienced.

One stand out moment came from a dangerous looking, unkempt woodsmen who appraised them skeptically and said only: Your hairs grown so long it’s pulled your brains out. In a moment of lucidity they decided it was best if they took their leave of this fine establishment.

They said they wanted to make a police report- the nearest station being in Boise - and they were directed to a pay phone outside an adjacent building. Once they were in the dusty parking lot Steve was followed by a fortunately friendly man.

Listen, he said, every guy in that bar has seen some weird shit up here, they just weren’t going to talk about it. He quizzed Steve about the shape and size of what they saw. Was it a dirigible shape? Spherical? He had no doubt what the boys saw was real and an extraordinary extraterrestrial encounter.

Steve made the call to the station and reported to the dispatcher what they experienced. Instead of being ignored or ridiculed they were surprised to be treated respectfully and were asked to come into the station to file a report.

They drove the 90 miles down to Boise and walked into the station, not a comfortable environment for two boys who had spent their adolescence trying to avoid the law.

They were led into a large room with a boardroom table and told they would be joined shortly by officers who wanted to hear their story. What they didn’t know is every cop working that night had been notified that these two young loggers were coming in to tell an incredible story. One by one the room filled with uniforms until it was standing room only. You could have heard a pin drop.

They listened to their story without saying a word. When they were done they filed out of the room without so much as a word between them, his memory being they were considering what they had just heard. Who were these two long-hairs? Why would they drive all the way into Boise to make a police report if they weren’t convinced of what they experienced?

A couple of the younger cops hung back and Steve remembered one saying, I believe them, my Uncle says he saw something just like what they saw.

The boys walked out of the station and into the quiet, warm summer night. Decades later, through images captured by the extraordinarily powerful telescopes probing deep space, we are learning vast new information about our universe.

He remembered an interview with an astrophysicist: What is the one fact about the universe that blows your mind the most? the physicist was asked. “Not only just the size and scale of it; in the piece of the universe we can see, there are something like roughly two trillion galaxies…we haven’t counted them all but that’s an estimate based on surveys of the local universe. Two trillion, two thousand billion galaxies. And each galaxy is, let’s say, around the size of the Milky Way - some are bigger and some are smaller - but the Milky Way has 400 billion stars in it. It takes light over 100 thousand years to cross the galaxy. And there are two trillion of them in the piece of the universe we can see. And we are very sure that the piece we can see is a small bit of what may be an infinite universe beyond. We don’t know, actually. Don’t get worried about that because nobody can picture it. It is impossible to visualize the scale of the universe.”

He knew what he saw was not from earth, so did Steve. They also knew they were among the very few humans ever to be feet away from an extraterrestrial object. A UFO.

I estimate the width from tip to top to be 250’ - 300’.

Leaving the Maverick, looked in the sky, saw a white shape flying north maybe 500 feet in the air, maybe 20 feet diameter going fast

Working for a IF City department, leaving the Maverick on Sunnyside and S Yellowstone walking north to the truck with two other coworkers. I looked up and saw and object and said "what is that?" The other two looked up and saw what I was looking at. It was all white, and round. The underside appeared to be grey maybe due to shadow. The shape to me looked like a somewhat flattened ball. It was maybe 500 feet in the air and headed in a northward direction at a high rate of speed. We watched it until it traveled out of sight to the north. Maybe 10-15 seconds total. It did not make a sound. I immediately pulled out my phone and checked the Flight Radar app and there were no planes in the area. One guy I was with agreed it was a UAP. The other one is very skeptical. Doesn't think it is a UAP, but has no idea what it could have been. If it was that low, we should have heard something. If it was higher than I thought, it was going at an incredible speed. I did not think to try and video it at the time. I wanted to take it all in with my eyes. I don't care if I'm contacted by an investigator, but this is mainly for documentation.

I spotted a metallic sphere in a clear blue sky in the middle of the day. It was fairly windy and never moved. I was with a group of about 20 friends and only one other person was really able to see it because the sunlight was really bright. It stayed there for 2 hours and some time after it was gone. We were at approximately 7,000’ elevation and the object was 2,000’-3,000’ feet above us and slightly to the east.

Saw 12 different metallic orbs from a high vantage point on a mountain range at my friend's cabin.

My girlfriend (now wife), my seven-year-old daughter, and myself were staying at my friends’ cabin in Lava Hot Springs Idaho. During the afternoon after my daughter and I got back from a four-wheeler ride to go fishing we had to rush inside because a lightning storm had come over us. My daughter and I went to the balcony to observe the storm and when the clouds had passed over us to the East my daughter pointed out a very strange looking group of flying objects that were very close to the edge of the storm.

At first I thought it might be a flock of birds but after seeing how far away these objects were given that they were hovering just above the next mountain range over it became clear to me that these objects would have to be extremely large to be viewed from such a distance. When I looked at the cluster of objects with a pair of binoculars they looked metallic when the sunlight would hit them just right. There were no wings, no navigation lights, and no propulsion equipment. These were indeed flying metallic orbs I was looking at. The group of objects hovered and fluttered in a very random pattern. I called my girlfriend who was inside working on her laptop at the time. I didn't say anything to her about what I thought I was looking at. I handed her the binoculars and told her to look at the objects in the sky. She seemed stunned when she observed them, she saw very clearly that these objects could not be explained by any conventional explanation. They stayed there for quite some time, maybe 15-20 minutes give or take. The objects eventually started heading Northeast until they were beyond my vision.

In the video you could also see two rogue UFOs flying around. The first one came zipping out of the clouds and moves quite fast in a Z pattern descending towards the ground. This object eventually went bellow the tree line and out of site, it's possible it could have made a landing somewhere in the valley. The next UFO came in from the right side out from the tree line and it ascended for a little while until it started to level out and fly straight heading towards the cluster of 8-10 UFOs that can be seen off and on throughout the video.

My theory is that these particular UFOs were feeding off the discharge energy of the thunderstorm given the precise timing of the event. This was my second encounter with UFOs, and this is the first time I had observed them in broad daylight. This case was deemed as an official reporting of a UFO by the Idaho State MUFON team and their director, Jim Millard. It is now a part of the very few 15% of cases they receive worldwide that are classified as unknown.

In the video I noticed that there were also multiple rogue UAPs flying around. The first one can be seen starting at the 0.29 mark, when it comes out of the clouds and moves quite fast in a Z pattern descending towards the ground. This object eventually went bellow the tree line and out of site, it's possible it could have made a landing somewhere in the valley. At the 0.46 mark you can see another rogue UAP come in from the right side of the camera and it ascends for a little while until it starts to level out and fly straight heading towards the cluster of UAPs that can be seen off and on throughout the entire 59 second video.

I stopped filming the video because I did not know how well my camera was picking up the objects and wanted to get a good look at them before they disappeared. Now after watching this video on a widescreen monitor and a stretched out 1x1 aspect ratio or a full screen stretch (this video was filmed in portrait mode so proper adjustments need to be made to see everything) I noticed that there was way more happening than I had initially observed. I truly do feel like me and my family witnessed something very incredible and out of this world. I put a dropbox link below to ensure the full resolution of the video can be seen. This will be my second encounter with UAP's and this is the first time I have observed them in broad daylight. I do hope that someone will look at this video very thoroughly, thank you for your time.

We were in the backyard at my cousin’s, celebrating his birthday. I wandered away from the porch to look at the stars. I was looking straight up, facing the southern sky and noticed a very faint, bluish white light. It looked as if someone was pointing a flashlight through fog, but the sky was clear of any clouds. As my eyes focused and adjusted, I saw more of the same lights. They were all in a V formation like the way geese fly. The lights appeared to fall in and out of sync ever so slightly, which made me think it might have been multiple craft. This all took place within a matter of seconds. I was stunned and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The only thing I could do was mutter an expletive to myself. As it passed over the house, out of my line of sight, I ran to the opposite end of the backyard to see if I could follow it again, but it was gone. I returned to the group and told them what I saw.

While sitting outside my wife and I noticed 7 lights in a v shape moving west to east, totally silent. The lights appeared to be at an altitude that was very similar to what I local airplanes on approach to the Boise airport.

The moon was bright despite being a half moon. The night was calm and there weren’t many clouds. It was a great night for star gazing.

At first I thought it was a satellite but then noticed other lights as it came into view. It went almost directly overhead which is how I could see the v shape but again no sound. The night was strangely quiet.

Lights were white and all appeared to be part of the same craft.

I was finishing up my last email of the day for work when I looked out my window and noticed 3 circular white dots in the sky. They were apart from one another and then came near each other and began to dance around one another. This lasted 5 seconds and after that, they stood still for 2 seconds before parting ways. Two of the dots went east and one went west. The one that went west I followed for around 13 seconds in the sky until it was out of scene from my window.

I was awake at approximately 3:13am (I looked at the clock) and entered the darkened dressing area of my primary bedroom. Light was coming through the muted privacy window over my bath tub. It was so bright that I thought it must be a full moon because a full moon in a clear sky will shed light into that window. I looked outside through the blinds in my bathroom - which is part of the dressing area - and saw a bright, shimmering object sitting just above the tree line of my neighbors very high pine trees. I believe the object was much higher than the tree tops, yet from my vantage point, it was just above their trees. I looked away to be sure I was seeing something and looked back outside, and I was then certain I was seeing a bright object with a shimmering light; not a flat light. I studied it for a moment and observed that it was a oval/cylinder shaped object, and the surface appeared to have square shapes on it. The light was quite brilliant. I looked away and looked back at the object a few times...and it was still there. At 3am, I didn't want to go outside by myself and attempt to photograph this object. And I figured I could not be the only person who saw it. Even at 3:15am or so, I thought there must be a few people on the road that would see it. This location is right off a busy road; Eagle Road in Meridian, Idaho. I concluded I'd read about it in the news or on the "Nextdoor" neighborhood app. No one has reported a sighting. I looked at the moon this morning at 6:30am; not a full moon. A half moon. I know what I saw. Very, very odd. I've never seen anything like it. Looked like a chain of lights in sky then each one went out in order from back to front reminded me of flares

The objects looked like small balls in a straight line. It appeared they were moving towards the ground in a row. There was six objects really bright white lights then they began to dim and each one went out and disappeared in order from rear to front. I observed them first then called my family out to see them. I am a veteran and served in the army field artillery and military police. The objects reminded me of flares from mortars but the location of them is not close to the military training area.

At first I thought it was a plane but it did not change location much from my original observation until the final one. I watch other planes with their red & white lights but this included green too. The majority of the time is had lights but on a couple of occasions it was not visible, I did not see a cloud but it could have been. At one point, what I thought was a plane, headed straight towards it but appeared to go past it - I could not see how - above, below, thru? I have been checking to see if Starlink has something like that hanging around but have not found anything yet. It was too far away to get a photo, sigh.

Was traveling on Highway 28 toward Idaho Falls for a medical appointment. We saw a bright amber light hovering roughly 1000 feet high

The sighting was insane, After noticing these amber/red orbs, things get blurry. We talked to each other at length because both of our memories seem to differ. He said he pulled over to watch but I thought we kept on driving. Regardless, at 3 pm, we were still in Lone Pine, at a local camping area just walking around when my memory is clear again. We totally forgot about the appointment for approximately 6 hours somehow and seemed to forget hours of time.

I observed the light when walking and as I watched it it made very precise vertical and horizontal moves

While walking and looking at the moon to the east of the admin building myself and my friend Yasiman saw a very bright brilliant light at first I did not think anything about it until I saw it move vertical and horizontal very precise and very quick. I was listening for the fam noise of drone and did not hear anything , the Moscow -Pullman regional
Airport is about 7-9 miles away to the north west of this location. The video I am submitting is about a minute after initial sighting (the light is not the reflection that is moving sporadically) and as I walk toward the west and stop then you will see it move vertical and then it moves horizontally as I follow it east back into the trees (which you will see it through the trees for a brief second. We walked east after the video and the light was no where to be seen when we got to an area that had a large clearing . I am a masters of architecture student at UI as is my friend Yasiman Dadras. We had just completed our final review for our studio architecture class.
