Suddenly the lights appeared, without any noise, they stood still

On May 23, 2025 at 22:45 I made a sighting of some lights.
The photo was taken in Cugnasco-Gerra (Ticino / Switzerlan), on Via Terricciuole in a westerly direction (coord 46° 10′ 31.06″ N // 8° 54′ 35.28″ E).
They suddenly appeared without making any audible sound, remaining motionless for at least 15 minutes (also seen by my wife after I came back into the house and very generically told her to look out the window, without providing her with any cues), I cannot tell how long they remained visible since, precisely, I later re-entered the house.

Same light flying over my house every night

Since more than a week now i see a light that flies over my house in different directions. I think it is the same one, since he moves in the same directions always. He then disapears after several seconds and reapears at another location and time. The light is bright and fast, 10 times faster than a normal airplane. The image below shows were the light shows up every night several times.

Light flying over my House

Every night around the same time since one week i see the same light in the sky and flying in all directions super fast for like 2 second max. Tonight, it showed up 3 times at the same location in between 20mn. 1 hour before I observed a orange orb over the sky. After that, i was sure that I saw something moving in the sky super fast with no lights on.

For two nights in a row, multiple lights moving in a way human things can not

While working on a boat, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, we had seen 3 to 4 lights shooting up and down, left and right, and being stationary and interacting with each other. They got low to the water line and higher up than airplanes. This all in the middle of the Atlantic, nowhere near any land.

There was a dark mass in the sky that never moved and disappeared suddenly.

I looked out the window of my 5th floor apartment on June 27, 2023 at 7:05am European Time and there was a dark cylindrical mass in the sky (dark grey, black). It was about 2km away from me. It looked a bit like a big bell. It was not moving. I sensed that it was just hovering in one spot. The day was cloudy but bright. I watched the dark object with my two children and my husband for 12 minutes or so. It never moved the entire time. I had to get my kids' bags ready for school, so I left the window. When I checked on it five minutes later, it was gone. Disappeared.

There is a commercial hot air balloon that flies in different parts of Switzerland owned by Vitogaz that is a similar shape and is grey and red. What I don't understand is if it was a hot air balloon: How did it completely disappear from such a height so quickly, and why did I get such a weird vibe from it. Balloons don't move quickly. It would have had to have plummeted to the ground. I have video from 7:09 and then at 7:26 when it completely disappeared. I’m used to seeing hot air balloons in our area. This did not act like a hot air balloon, and it wasn’t in the location that the hot air balloons usually fly. It was closer to me. Usually they stay farther away on the horizon, and I can always see all the colors on the balloons from where I live. This object had no colors.

After seeing this in the sky I was convinced it was not normal. The report here is very much the same as my experience, except I didn't have trees for the object to possibly hide behind. There are also many reports that these sighting are just the Vitogaz balloon. I really don't believe this. And why have other people in Switzerland been alarmed by similar sightings as well. It just seems like something isn't right with all of this. I'm not satisfied with it being a commerical balloon for all the reasons I listed above. I have shown the footage to a few local friends who agreed that it just doesn't seem right. I hope all of this information is helpful, and I hope this event isn't dismissed as another balloon sighting. I believe it really needs to be looked into further.

Glittering /mirror like object flys over the camping spot

Awoke, after a wild camping stop alone on the pass. 0840 a mirrored like glittering object captures my eye& immediately I grabbed my 4klumix 12mp camera. Initial video is 13 seconds, 2nd video 23 seconds. Noticed a small private plane's engine noise on the 2nd video, but did not verify it. Or see it. It must have been monitoring the object. It seemed to morph drastically upon the moment that I had it centered in the view finder. The 2nd video has numerous spirals associated to the changing characteristics of the object. This was riveting in itself, though I did not shake it definitely interrupted the following week of normal sleep, being that it was ultra surreal and left an indelible memory. Object was heading southwest

at least 50 bright lights in single line, evenly spaced moving across sky from SW to NE

I woke up about 4:15 in the morning. It was still dark. I went to the window, opened the window as I sometimes do when I wake that early in the morning. I looked outside to take in the night view. Clear sky, warm, calm, peaceful. I looked up and noticed a string of bright single lights, almost as bright as Venus or Mars. I just as quickly noticed they were moving. Coming from the horizon to the South West moving toward the North East. The got closer. I first thought they might be satellites but as the leading lights came almost over the house, I could see the string of lights continued all the way back to the horizon from where I first noticed them. They were all in line and evenly spaced. All except one. The first 4 or 5 were in line and then the next one was noticeably off the line but continuing to move as the others. All the rest were perfectly in line and evenly spaced. There was no sound of course. They seemed to be very high almost as a! satellite may appear if you saw one on a dark clear night far from any light pollution. This procession continued for about 15 minutes and I just watched in amazement and wonder. Obviously wondering what it could possibly be. Until the end of the line of lights finally came past and the show was over. All were evenly spaced and moving at a speed that a plane moving through the sky over head at 20,00 feet would appear to be moving. These were not airplanes, this is Switzerland. Aircraft do not fly during these hours in most western European countries. Much less 50 or more in a straight line evenly spaced like that. Satellites? Again, I cannot imagine that many satellites all in a line moving across the sky like that but I suppose it is possible. Been looking in the news for any other person making this report. I could not have been the only one to have seen this.

I was viewing “EARTH ONLINE”I was on page #75-plate 6’ ? this Sighting was by City Cam located in Hinwit,Switzerland,at approximately around 1:am cst USA March 19 2020.as I was preparing for bed I thought I would Check out some world wide City Cams by chance I simply tapped A Web Cam in HinWit Switzerland. The web cam was fixed do East of HinWit as the Cam was rolling it was still semi dark out the Sun Hadn’t come up yet mountain ridges couldn’t be seen very good but I could make out some of what I was seeing,Street lights a car driving down a road somebody was up going to work I guess,I didn’t know what was there in view of the cam but as time went by the Sun was barely lighting up the area slowly so I decided to wait a few more minutes and watch the Sun Come on up and see What Hinwit looked like as the Sun slowly lighted more I began to make out the Distant hills to the East of HinWit then what looked like Water. minutes later I saw a good size Boat going! north I could see housing areas I thought, meanwhile to the east across the water more Mountain details were beginning to show up better a slight haze in the early morning sun light.there are Street lights far in the distance the Sun was showing more Water details the area below the City Cam was showing more details meanwhile One particular Light kept moving around 1 to 2 miles approximately,I just thought it was a plane so I wasn’t giving much attention at first but then I noticed it appeared to go down between mountains then rose above them moved a little to the north then it kind of disappeared behind another Mountain Ridge then I noticed this hazy ball like Object you can see it in the middle of the photo. The object was coming closer the sun finally lighted up things more this Ball thing came slowly toward the water way then started across the water by now I could see the Object looked solid But cloud like Smoke was in a Redish Pink Foggy cloud all around it then sudd! enly ANOTHER smaller Object seemed To come out of the larger o! ne and w ent short distance away from the bigger one stopped sat there a few minutes then went back to the big Ball,as it was moving back to the south of the bigger one I noticed a (bluish)foggy like cloud stuff appear then I saw it go slowly downward to the water the ball like objects seemed to go under the water but the cloud seem to stay on the surface then the Redish pink cloud went across to the West Bank just feet of the west shore stopped turned north then appeared to be coming on shore there are a lot of buildings down below the Cam but then it started to cut through the tops of these buildings coming straight toward the area where this webcam was located then The Cam shut off and Switched to a different Web Cam and that was all I Saw..I took over a (hundred Photos), I kept snapping shots as fast as I could to keep the movement in sequence,I couldn’t get the Video recorder to come on the Site I was on so I just kept snapping pictures.I was Very excited about Being lucky enou! gh to get to see this Weird event and pee’d that the webcam went off just when things was getting good.it was almost to the Clearing ,street below in the view, cars were there people out by now it was around 2:am or after my time so I went on to bed.,The photos of this event are priceless The Red Pink cloud was weird you could see through it like a cloud of smoke but it was only going through these tops of buildings down below the view in size the cloud is a few hundred ft longish and a couple hundred ft. in width. ? 2 faint-orange V-shapes in the sky on a clear night going north-east

Don't remember the precise day of October. Stepped outside facing west around 11pm, clear skies no clouds, dry atmosphere, no planes, silence outside. Saw two large, very faint orange V shapes moving slowly towards the horizon heading north-west at around 300 degrees, one to the side and slightly behind the other. Both V's were the same size: checking at arms length, the nail of the pinki finger could fit inside the widest part of the V (approximately the size of the moon) They were moving slower than the speed of an ISS passover, and the V shape kept pointing downwards as the V approached the horizon. They did not flatten out visually as one would observe a delta-shaped plane do approaching the horizon. Only the leading edges were visible, and it also seemed as if the leading edges of the V were reflecting sunlight rather than emitting light. Both these observations led me to think the V must be very large objects in orbit, heading north-west - in other words, in a retrograde orbit. There are no regular flight routes in this direction at this location. While there is a military airport in the region with F18s flying on a regular basis, their approach path is not overhead, and there were no military flights at this time. Also, F18s flying towards the airport visually appear much smaller and become a single point approaching the horizon in the sky compared to the V that I observed, which remained basically the same size all the way to the horizon. There was no sound during my observation.

I was on a bbq with 5 other friends in my age. At 12:00 am our group was going back to the camp with bycicles. In the middle of the way we heard some noises from the water. And then in 1 sec. one big and round object appeared it was so bright like the sun. And also in 1 sec. it disappeared in the dark orbit. There was also golden sparkles it was very beautyful and a view water drops came down of the sky.

Four floating lights, hovered about 500m above ground then disappeared.

As it's a national holiday in Switzerland, there have been fireworks all night. However, there were three lights that did not fade away like the other fireworks.

When I came back with my phone I saw another about 150 degrees SW of those three. That one seemed to be coming closer, while the other three flew away from me and then disappeared. By the time I looked back to the other one, it had gone too.

My mother said they might be drones, however no one flies drones through a sky full of fireworks. It was also definitely not stunt planes or anything. Just small yellowish orbs of light; seemed to glide and hover very gracefully.

Two fireballs passing quickly over my head to horizon

I am leaving in Switzerland, 10km north of Lausanne at Cugy.

Two years ago in August, I took position in my lawn on a deckchair at 10:00 in the night to observe the shooting stars of Perséides.

At 11:00, after some small tracks, I see over my head two orange halo flying close together and pretty quickly and leaving my horizon after some seconds.

Since this event, as often as possible when the sky is clear and if I have free time, I take position in my lawn between 10:30 and 11:30 in the night.

Since there, I have seen 7 time this phenomenon: lights flying north to south or south to north.

Some time, one object is present, some time two and one time three in triangle.

When the lights were in triangle, the formation was very constant like if three lights were soldered together. But, suddenly, one light made a left turn leaving the formation. But the three lights stayed in my field of view of my glass (40X10). After some seconds and just before leaving my horizon, the three lights return in they original formation.

My last observation was 17 August at 10:45 in the night. Two objects were present.

In resume: Observation of 1 or two or three orange lights like out of focus.

Time from horizon to horizon 20 seconds approximatively Track North to South or South to North No speed change

Estimation: It seems they are flying above aircrafts. I estimate flying altitude 60.000fts.

A small computation says that they are flying at Mach 6 to 10 and have a size larger than a football field!!! It is really an unusual phenomenon!!! I tried to take picture with my camera (Nikon D2H) but the luminosity of object is too poor and they are moving too quickly

Pilot Sighting of Motionless Silver Circle Above Switzerland

I am a pilot. On this particular afternoon I was operating the Beechcraft Kingair 200 on a flight from Southwestern France to my destination of Frankfurt, Germany. I was flying at an altitude of 27,000 feet.

At approximately 14:00 Central European Time, I noticed the other pilot bending his neck in an upward position and gazing out the cockpit window. The sky was clear and it was a beautiful day. He said, “that’s another airplane up above us, right?” I looked up and I did see another jet approximately 8,000 feet above our position leaving a distinct contrail as it flew overhead in a westerly direction. I said, “ya, it’s beautiful, huh?” He replied, “ok…but what in the world is that”, while pointing at an object that appeared to be well above the jet we just saw fly above our position.

The strange object in question must have been at an altitude of at least 25,000 feet above the aircraft we just saw. So, that would mean the object was at a possible altitude of 60,000 feet.

Commercial aircraft cruise in the mid to high 30,000 ft range. Some corporate jets like the Gulfstream V can cruise in the high 40,000 foot range. I don’t know of any current operating aircraft operating at an extremely high altitude like the 60,000 ft range.

The object was a perfect circle. It was not a disc, not saucer shaped, but a geometrically perfect circle. The color was silver. There were no lights on it. To me, there appeared to be some type of aura or haze around the circle. It was motionless. We only lost sight of the object because we flew underneath it.

My reaction is to say it was a weather balloon. However, I have never seen a weather balloon, so I can not be confident in making such a statement. I would say its mass would have to be similar to the size of a B737.

The event was witnessed by myself, the co-pilot and our passenger. We joked about it, but afterwards I had a bit of an uneasy feeling due to the fact that I was unable to identify the object we all encountered.

Fast moving starlight makes tree sharp turns.

After a late night picnic along the lake in Geneva, we lay on our backs on the blanket looking up to the sky making small talks about stars and satellites. It was a clear evening with stars appearing to be a small pin lights.

Among them, we saw a same size light moving in a straight line from right to left on our farm of view.

Initially, we thought it was a satellite, but I had a second thought, as it seemed to move awful fast for something so far away and appear to be small.

As we discuss what it is, it abruptly made 45-degree turn down and the direction it was traveling from, then made two more sharp left turns making a triangle shape path before disappearing.

Happened very fast but three of us saw the same thing at the same time and couldn't believe what we have seen. It wasn't a trick of the eye nor something caught at a glance as we we looking at that particular light when we thought it was a satellite.

If it didn't move, we would have thought it was one of the many stars.

I do believe we saw an UFO and wanted to share the story.

I will be looking up again as we are returning to the same spot tonight.

Very sorry for the late reply.
I was traveling for work and I am just getting around to personal emails.

The incident happened in 2012 indeed, but I've never forgotten the impact it had on me and have been thinking about sharing this with someone ever since.

I wanted to find a blog or a place where people can share the stories and can give some information/ideas as to what it is I saw.

As mentioned, I was with two other friends who saw the same thing so I know it wasn't the trick of the eye. and if I was alone, I believe no one would believe me anyway.

My friends don't even want to talk about it as they have no answers.

I have been looking up at the sky ever since hoping to see more things.

Switzerland, 13th of July 2012. Coming from the south I drive to the city Rapperswil. On the so called Seedamm I cross the Lake of Zürich. In Rapperswil the street turns to the left.

In the curve, just above the house at the corner, I see something strange. It is pink and seems to have dark, black shadows on itself. The object appears fuzzy; I can’t recognize its shape clearly. In the first moment I think the widget is about 10 meters in size.

As I pass the curve I turn around and spot the object in front of the corner house; it seems to be much smaller now. And it seems to follow me on the left side. Immediately it is vanished.

The whole observation did not even take a minute and there was no sound at all.

Dort, unmittelbar über dem Eckhaus in der Luft, sehe ich etwas Seltsames. Es ist rosarot und scheint in sich schwarze Schatten zu haben. Das Objekt ist nur sehr unscharf zu erkennen; seine Konturen sind verschwommen und kaum auszumachen. Zunächst denke ich, das Ding sei zirka 10 auf 10 Meter groß. Als ich mich nach der Kurve umsehe, mache ich es vor der Fassade des Eckhauses aus. Nun erscheint es mir deutlich kleiner. Und es scheint mich zu meiner Linken zu verfolgen. Doch plötzlich ist es verschwunden.

Meine Beobachtung hat nicht mal eine Minute gedauert und war völlig lautlos.

Highspeed object changing direction and accelerating in night sky.

MOTION: We noticed the object on 1-1:30 o'clock, it moved to 11 o'clock. It slowed down, then changed its direction away from our observation point, then accelerated and quickly disappeared in distance at 11:30 o'clock. i.e. from north/norh-west to south/south-east, then to west/south-west.

It did not disappear because of an obscured view. But quickly disappeared in the haze of light pollution (got less bright and vanished, in a bit less than a second).

Best guess: All this happened in about 5 seconds, indicating very high speed. There were several regular airplanes in the sky (not close to the object). They were much, much slower (about 10 to 20 times slower).

OBJECT: 2 distinct orange/orange-red lights (constant, not flashing - just like regular stars, less bright than regular airplanes). They appeared to belong to the same object.

We could not hear any sound. Our surrounding area was quiet.

Best guess: The object seemed to be massive in size.

The regular airplanes were smaller relative to the size of the object (about 10times smaller). In contrast, the lights of the various airplanes were difficult to distinguish (also they flashed). The object's lights however were clearly distinguishable with space between them.

The regular airplanes could be clearly observed despite the haze of light pollution. The object however disappeared westsouthwest in the haze of light pollution.

The object was bigger by sight but appeared to be further away than regular airplanes in the sky.

AREA: Center of small town, planes fly at high altitude (no airport nearby). Airplanes can be seen in the sky througout the day and evening. Regularly a helicopter from the nearby hospital is seen. We are familiar with both.

There were no clouds in the sky, but a haze of light pollution. The belt of orion was to be clearly seen, the object appeared about two to three fists on the right of these stars and disappeared left of the first bright star on the left of orion.

WITNESSES: 28.f. and 30.m.. Clear state of mind. No disposedness to esoteric or religious worldviews. Doctor and University degrees. Little time to observe.

SUMMARY: The object was no regular airplane. It was too big to be a military craft - also still too fast. It was no shooting star or comet. It changed its direction.

Speed, distance and size of object were difficult to guess, but were way out of the ordinary.

Formation of initially 4 objects, one emitting another smaller object, then when witnesses gathered only three objects remaining.

On this day, the 21st of August, 2010, I and three other people witnessed a formation of between 3 and five bright objects in the sky over Basel, Switzerland.

I made the initial sighting while walking my neighbour's dog in the park behind my house, seeing 4 intensely bright white objects high in the sky to the south of my location. Initially I dismissed the objects as airplanes as Switzerland lying at the crossroads of Europe sees lots of air traffic.

My initial assessment was deemed incorrect on the basis of other aircraft moving across the sky at altitudes that made it clear that they were indeed aircraft (shape, contrails, speed of movement). The four objects remained almost motionless, until I witnessed a smaller and less bright object break or drop away from one of the objects.

At this point (after five minutes of viewing) I determined it necessary to gather other witnesses. I went into my house and asked my girlfriend to come outside with me, and to bring a camera.

When we returned outside, the 4 objects were now 3 and we watched them for approximately 10 more minutes before going inside to look for another camera with! a telephoto lens.

The objects moved slowly, and were hard to see against the brightness of the clear summer sky, often fading into the blue back ground and then returning with intensity in a new location making it difficult to judge their exact location. The objects moved closer to each other over time, one after the other, never at the same time.

I stopped two other passing strangers to confirm that they could also see the objects, which after a moment of searching (again, bright white objects on a bright blue sky) they found and confirmed.

At this point my girlfriend and myself went inside to look for my camera and telephoto lens. Upon returning outside the objects had vanished.

Photos taken with the smaller digital camera reveal nothing of value.

I was walking home from school with my two friends. We decided to take a hike in the woods. We went about a mile out, and a aerodynamic ship flew across the sky. It sort of looked like the star destroyers on star wars, but smaller, about 500 metres. It was made of chrome, and quickly flew across the sky. None of us had cameras, and we don't know if anyone else saw it. It made a vibating noise, like a quiet car engine.

Reddish light across lake Zurich, no noise, hovers in place then disappears behind clouds

I saw a brigh reddish light across the lake. At first I thought it was a flare or a very big shooting star. However, during the time I watched, it moved across the lake at even speed, slower than what normal planes look like, which I have viewed many times.

There was some clouds, light whispy, but the circlular red light could be viewed even when clouds were in the way. About 20 seconds of watching brought the light about 70 degrees above me where it stopped. Up to this point, I was expecting to hear a sound, plane or helicopter and to see running lights when it got closer, but neither happened.

It stopped for about 10 seconds maybe more when I heard some people on the street and tried to alert them to what I was seeing. However, and this sounds made up I know, the light then moved slowly to my left and got behind thicker clouds. The reddish light could still be seen from time to time over the next 10 seconds or so as I tried to guide them in to what i saw but by then, even if they did see it, it would not have made much sense to them as you could not really define it or see the movement.

Its hard to say if it was getting higher, but through the clouds when I did see it, the size appeared to have diminished.

The only logical thing I can think of is that it was some sort of flare on a parachutte. However, if it was that then it was above clouds, so at least 1000 feet in the air, it moved in a straight line for 20 to 30 seconds I watched it, stopped dead in its tracks for 10 seconds at least and then moved to my left. While I could see the light, it did not vary, didnt get bigger or smaller or flicker.

8 flying objects sighted in Switzerland

Dear Sir or Madame I am a Swiss student and I'm writing to you in hope of some answers.

At approximately 12 o'clock in the night from Saturday, the 15th September to Sunday, the 16th September my friend and I saw 7 or 8 dull glowing objects in the sky above 9470 Buchs, Switzerland ( 47° 10' 0" N, 9° 27' 59.99" E) . They were flying a perfect V-formation for about a second and changed to a straight line, while the outer two objects were swerving from left to right (almost touching the next objects in the row) at a remarkable speed, without the merest break at each turning point. Following characteristics of the objects exclude the possibility of them being normal aircrafts, balloons or animals: - The speed of them (about the speed of a military jet flying one kilometre above us), the covered roughly 100° of sky in about four seconds. Because there were now clouds what so ever and we could merely see the dull glowing lights of the objects it was impossible to tell the height.

- They emitted no sound at all, despite flying directly over us - The way the outer two objects were swerving - There was no wind that night - The fact that they glowed - The size of them (about three millimetres in diameter) - The light always stayed the same: it neither blinked nor changed in brightness (not as bright as that of a passenger aircraft), each object had one light Neither the Swiss army nor the Swiss Aviation Control is aware of anything, nor could anyone else give us an explanation of what we saw that night.

Strange dots noticed upon inspection of photos of a lightning storm

Hi, I was just looking through some photos of a lightning storm that I took on the 22.06.07 in Switzerland when I noticed some strange dots on a few of them. The attached photos were taken from my 3rd floor balcony on 200 asa film with a 35mm reflex camera with a 28/70mm zoom on a tripod facing West with a shutter time of about 3-5 secs and the crane in the image is about 100-120 metres distant. The images come off a CD which was made with the development. The photos were taken between 11.20pm and midnight so when there is no lightning the sky is black black black, so I did not see anything when I took the photos. I have only removed some noise and the jpeg motif from these images in the way of retouching. (the set of retouched photos from that storm can be seen here

When looking for the points of interest look at the photos at 200% In 07 the point of interest is on the right hand side of the photo to the left of the balcony on the edge of the image.

In 13 look to the right and above the crane weight.

In 24 it's halfway between the crane tip and the top of the photo.

In 32 look directly above the crane stand two thirds the distance from the crane to the top of the image.

I think 07, 34 and 32 are clearest but they are small in all photos. I've ruled out a speck on the lens or mirror as a cause, because a roll of 36 exposure film was used in about 30-40 mins, the camera moved only once and one or two adjustments to the zoom and the specks appear in different places but not on every photo. If it were an emulsion spot it would appear as a splodge not a pixellated dot with the same pixel intensity as the rest of the photo.

Filed a report with local newspaper next day. Learned a week later that around 10 witnesses had seen same sighting from different angles at same time .

The large, longitudinal object with upward tilted wings moved at an upward tilted angle

One object flying from S to SW over Lake Zurich was seen by viewer standing on a hill near Wald, canton Zurich. Between viewer and object were the mountains Rigi and Pilatus. Mountain rainge was below object. Object at S first looked like a line at 10 ° angle upwards, then, as it came more to W it looked like a pencil with upward pointing wings, then, at nearly frontal vision, it looked like a a cigar with wings pointing upwards. The long body was always tilted at an angle upwards. It stood motionless in direct line of the observer for about 5 minutes. Then it was suddenly gone. It was a clear evening with no clouds. The object made no sound.

This time the light appeared at 22.33. It moved in the same direction and at the same speed. However, the flight path was slightly to the left compared with the path on August 10. Also this light disappeared after 3 - 4 seconds and nothing could be seen anymore.

About 10 minutes later I saw a bright white light at about 270 degrees, near the horizon. The light moved from left to right and disappeared after 1 - 2 seconds.

bright white light moving at satellite speed disappears after 3 - 4 seconds

The last few weeks the sky was very clear in Flamatt (between Berne and Fribourg). The air was warm but humidity low. As usual between 22.30 and and 23.30 I went outside to have a look at the stars in the westerly and northerly direction (in the other directions they could not be seen because of the almost full moon).

At 22.50 I realized above my head a very bright white light, moving in a direction of approximately 330 degrees. The speed was about the same as the speed of a satellite which I can see from time to time.

However, the light was very bright like the light of the space lab I had seen last year (it had been announced in the newspapers). The light of the space lab could be seen from one side of the horizon to the other.

This light, however, moved in almost the opposite direction and disappeared after 3 to 4 seconds and nothing could be seen anymore.

I was working in the Civil Aviation Department of Switzerland for 30 years. I have no no explanation for what I saw on August 10,2003. See report of August 12.

Observed one aluminum colored spherical object in Switzerland on Sep 27 2002

I was on a 4 day coach trip from England to Switzerland. We stopped off at the town of Grindelwald to sight-see. I had my zoom binoculars (7 - 21 X 50) with me and started to look at the local mountains from the coach parking area. One mountain which was due south of us (I also had my compass with me) had a particularly pointed shape with left and right slopes of about 45 degrees. Over this peak I saw a spherical shaped object which I thought must be some sort of symbol erected on a mast at the peak of the mountain, but after a few seconds observation I realised there was no mast. The object looked aluminum in color and was illuminated by the sun. Without the binoculars I had great difficulty in finding the object, but could just about see it with the naked eye. Over the period of 5 minutes it moved to the right very slowly and eventually disappeared behind another mountain mass. Another person in our party also had a pair of binoculars and was able to observe the same object. I later tried to work out the angular diameter of the object and I estimated it to be not more than 3 mins of arc. Being a stranger to the area I could not tell how far away the mountain was but using estimates of say 4 miles distance this would place the diameter of the object at about 18 feet.

Two Triangle-like shaped objects with each three red flashing lights

I noticed that two unusual flying objects where flying over our city, both with the same altitude and speed. They both had three very bright, red flashing lights and it seemed to me like they (the UFO's) had a triangle-like shape . At first I thought that these where low flying planes but it couldn't have been possible because I heard no turbine sound. Next, I called my Mother to run out in to the garden otherwise she would not believe what I saw. Suddenly, one of them disappeared, and we couldn't believe our eyes!! Then, after approx. 15 seconds the other object disappeared at the exact same position as the former one.

Hello Everyone, This is the first time i see such an object. We the human civilization are not capable of inventing such Circle glittering object. It was exactly 20 uhr swisstime, i went outside for a walk behind our house. Suddenly I saw 2 circle like object which was emitting ultra colours moving really fast from Eastern Hemisphere towards West.As an Indian in our Hindu philosphy which has written about 8000years they have mentioned about Gendarva(People from other planet)who appear in Bhumi(Earth)and disappear within fraction of seconds.So could you please tell me what exactly I have seen is an UFO or something else.

midst in the city of zuerich in switzerland i observed, at 22:30 hrs CET, two formations each one comprising some 25 to 30 ufo's.the night was clear, and on the other side of the sky the moon had just apeared. the lights where quite pale, in the size of twice the size of brightest star.the velocity seemed quite slow to me.(somehow like a flock of seaguls flying high) both formations had a shape of an strongly elongated egg. the flight patterns of both formations where irregular...the first formation showed some of the lights where doing sorta snake-path-pattern the first formation had goldish/yellow lights. right after the first formation came a second one, about 3 seconds later. lights on this one where green, blue , and yellow (or red, i may be wrong here) right after this second formation, came another group of some 5 or 6 red ufo's, three times the size of the first ones, and all red. they where flew so close together,that at times they looked like just one craft.they where flying wildly around eachother. the size of these i can explain as follows: if one streches the arm, one of the red lights had the size of the smallest fingernail, when they where very close together, it looked like the size of a thumb. this is the second formation-flight i could observe, my first formation sighting was about 2 years ago, same formation and flight patterns, with white/very light blue lights.

Large red orange light was seen traveling slowly over Zurich on New Year's Eve under a cloudy sky.

A red/orange light which appeared to shift between red and orange and which appeared much larger than an airplane light and much larger than Venus at it's brightest was seen moving slowly across the night sky of Zurich, Switzerland on New Year's Eve. The sky was completely overcast so it was clear the the object was not a star or anything in space. We were watching some fireworks in the distance so many of our eyes were turned skyward. I don't have any directions to give you at all but the light in the sky was there for about 10 minutes before it registered with me. I just thought that it was a super bright star but then after the fireworks stopped it hit me that the sky was completely clouded over and at that time I called it to the attention of my five friends. Nobody had any idea of what it could be and after about 10 more minutes the object started to slowly move over the city. Two of us had cameras but my friend with the digital camera had (wouldn't you believe it, just at this moment, just like in the movies!) technical problems and he was not able to get a shot. I was able to get off a few shots. I made sure that I got a building in the picture to aid in determining the distance and with luck a low flying airplane flew near the object so I was able to get the object, an airplane, and a building in one shot. The camera was just a little point and shoot model so the negatives are extremely underexposed. I don't know how much use they would be. It really just looks like a light with a dark background. The object moved out of my view after about twenty minutes. We heard no sounds coming from the object. I was wondering if anybody else reported this. It must have been seen by a lot of people because it was up there for so long and it was moving so slow. I would love to hear something from you. I can get images to you if you would like them. fast moving object merging from in back of swis clock tower at train station from Zurich to Rinsehorn Switzerland. Object moves real fast.

Family of 3 and 1 friend took trip to Germany. Landed in Zurich Switzerland took train from air port to take a fery from Rinsehorn to Fedrickshaven Germany to meet with Family's relitives. Armed with a Sharp HI 8 view cam took video every step of the way and durring entier durration of 2 week trip in Europe. I took video out train window while at a station in Switzerland. Seen in video: birds flying about a Swis Clock tower... Then some object (metalic looking)* emerges from in back of the Swis Tower and stopps for one half second then dipps down at a 45 degree slope.... and disapeares! I did not see object durring the video taping... but after playing it back on tv I saw something strange so I rewoned the tape and played it back in slow motion and frame by frame, and it apeares to have reflective properties suggesting it might be metalic. *Under further amature alalisis I ran it through my computer using SNAPY 3.0 Delux and enlarged it, and it appears to be a somewhat oval disk shape matalic and blueish in color and white glare on top, and a super dark (black) shadow on bottom. I played the rest of the tape and saw some other strange fast flying objects flying in the sky including one emearging from lake Constance, near an old Cassel. That is all. Me,my mother and her two friends saw it.No one knew what it was.It was like a blueish white light with no source.As if the light was coming from nowhere.It was like a spotlight with no beam.Athough it has been almost five years since my sighting,I still remeber it clearly.My guess is it could have been an alien spacecraft.

It suddenly moved away with enormous speed at a steep angle until we lost it from our eye sight.

5 girls picking flowers in a field after school on a bright summer afternoon. We all noticed a very bright light which came from an object fixed in the cloudless sky, quite high up and motionless for about 10 minutes. Then it suddenly moved away with enormous speed at a steep angle until we lost it from our eye sight.
