I saw an unusual flying object near Great Bear constellation.

On the 11th of July 2017, around 7:16 PM Sri Lanka Time [8:46 AM EDT], a flying object was observed heading in the direction from the star Tania Borealis to Tania Australis in the Ursa Major (Great Bear) constellation. It had a bright whitish color, brighter than satellites that are normally visible, and had a somewhat diamond shape. The object moved for nearly a second towards Tania Australis and then disappeared. It appeared distinct from orbiting satellites in the night sky and was not a passenger airliner. It was not a Google Balloon, and it did not resemble a falling asteroid.

It was not the International Space Station (ISS); it was not present in the sky on that day. The diamond-shaped bright light remained motionless for less than 2 seconds, then flew for nearly a second before disappearing.

Location: Sri Lanka East sky; Orion constellation - appeared alongside “Bellatrix”

Description: This object appeared as a spherical one and it had a glowing bright blue color. Three friends including me saw this object from three locations situated approximately 20-45 km (Kandy, Central Province, Sri Lanka) to each other.

Remarks: UFO hovered for about 20-25 minutes while radiating orange-yellowish colures from its sides. Slight movement from left to right was observed and went dim and bright (slow flickers) several times (no clouds) and after 2-3 minutes later moved towards south east direction in a constant linear speed faster than a common satellite.

1-2 minutes later an Aircraft with no sound (probably as I think) traveled in a strange path closer to the exact area the UFO was observed. Perhaps that arrival may have caused the UFO to move away…

light orange color illuminating ractangular shaped object.

It was about two three years ago at a morning around 10 AM. Me, my brother and my mother were going home by our scooter. As a habit i always glance up at the sky. That's when i saw this rectangular shaped orange (i don't know the name of the shade but i found the hex code which is #ff7538) colored object flying in the sky. There was only one of these objects and it was flying really slowly high in the sky. At first i thought it was an air-plane but I've never seen orange colored rectangular ones.. So i thought it could be a kite, but this one was illuminating this light orange color The entire object was illuminating and no doors or windows could be seen it was a plane rectangle... So i couldn't understand what this object really was ..so I showed this to my mom and, brother. We were watching this object in the sky for about 2 minutes and decided to leave. Unfortunately i didn't have my phone with me to take a picture..

I wonder if anyone else has ever seen an object like this ?

Saw 6 blinking stationary Stars in a straight line towards west/north west, however these were bigger than normal stars. Their colors varied from pinkish, orange to silver. Blinking was more pronounced than normal stars. After some time 2 stars disappeared. Of the remaining 4 stars, the 2nd star moved towards the adjacent star. After some time, of the 3 remaining stars 2 disappeared. Lastly, the 2 that got together faded away. From the time they were observed first, the whole episode took about 15-20 mts. Except for the second star that moved towards the first, all the others were stationary. It was a clody day, no other stars could be seen, the moon (believe day after full moon) shone through the clouds at times. What was unusual was the stars were aligned in a straight line, one star moving towards the other and pronounced blinking. Also, they were stationery, except the 2nd star.

A ufo is Been seen over Polonnaruwa for tha past 3 weeks in many places around the town and on the above day people were getherd and waiting to see the UFO till about 23:00 it did not came vosible so two girls has left from the polonnaruwa Bunt of Parakkrama Samudraya Which is a very big Lake. they were heading towards kaduruwella about 3KM from polonnaruwa, and near the Centre for the Teachers education, they have stonished by two big cercular lights suddnly appeared on the grond and then they have seen the UFO hanging in the sky very low they have screemed and a police truck was passing by this location on that time, they have tryed to spot and use the head lights of the truck to see the UFO clearly and because of that within seconds the UFO has vanished in to the Sky.

There are about 200 people have seen the object for the past 3 weeks in varius locations and one person has observed the object for 2.30 Hours and the Object has seen over Kaduruwela, polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Kaluthra,Mathugama, And Ukuwella. The Amateur Astrnomers Association of Sri Lanka is doing a Special Study on the Event

UFO and aliens cited in Sri Lankan city of Polonnaruwa, in first week of June 2002.

The national television channel, Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation reported on it's 8 p.m. news on both 9th June, 2002 and on 10th June, 2002 that there have been UFO citings in the city of Polonnaruwa. The TV channel showed a video footage of the spacecraft. Several aliens too have been sighted, who had apparently run away when seen by civillians. These citings have been reported on several days.

UFO Sited in Sri Lanka

Unidentified flying object was detected in sri lanka in the polonnaruwa district , there are over 50-70 eye witnesses. the UFO was flying apx 100m above ground level, it does not produse any sound(very silent) futher 2 people have seen the UFO trying to land and when they flashed there touch it has taken off, the UFO has prodused a sound simmilar to a bee when it tied to land. these siting were there for over one week. further a couple has seen three aliens( presumed to be aliens)at about ten aclock in the night when they were returning to there home..........they have quickly run to the nearby jungle the hight of these people have been reported as apx 2 feet.Pictures of the UFO and vedio clips are available with the sri lankan TV stations cos this was the headline news on the 10th of june.

It was Saturday night, BBQ Night. I was on a bike on a main highway connecting the main city of Colombo to Negombo. Suddenly i saw 2 bright red lights. It was almost as if one light was going to colide with the other one. As i proceeded, there were actually 3 more lights I had not seen since there were some coconut trees. I was so excited i sped up and went to my friend place and we ( 4 of us including some village folk) saw it. 3 of the bright objects formed a triangle and the other 2 formed a squair with the base of the triangle. they were moving upweards with a great speed and went upweards, and appeared to be going away from earth. The whole incident took about 30 miniutes after which we could not see any thing as some clouds had set in

We saw one red light and five strange creatures on the mountain top.

We can see the mountain "Ambuluwawa" top from our garden. It was the highest moutain in our area and it has huge rocks all over it. We have climbed the mountain before and it was very difficult due to thick forestsand rocks.

On that day we were coming home around 7.00 p.m. and on top of the mountain we saw a red light moving here and there. So we stopped and watched it for a while. I was with my parents and brother, and we called my grandparents and aunt also. That light became yellow, green, blue and orange time to time. it went up into the sky so fast and came back. This happend several times and we went inside after watching this for about 1/2 an hour.

The next day morning my brother was watching the mountain since it was school holidays, and he shouted aroung 9.00 a.m. in the morning. We ran there and we saw 5 strange creatures moving on top of the mountain. We have seen people there earlier as tiny dots but these creatures were about 8-12 feet tall. Since we have been there earlier we compared them with the trees there. We couldn't see their faces clearly but they were not human for sure. They were much more taller than humans. After about 20-30 minutes they went around the mountain which is impossible for humans because that part of the mountain has only huge rocks. According to our knowledge there was only one way to climb that mountain.

This mountain is visible to everyone because it was the biggest mountain in Gampola.

Other than this incident many friends of mine have told me that they have seen strange lights on top of this mountain.

Eventhough I was a small girl at that time I still can remember that incident very well. It always goes through my mind just like a film. I always believed in extraterrostrial life and I will believe them till the end of my life.
