A large bright object circled the moon in less than 5 seconds

We were in the army,12 of us,just finished chow and we were looking at a full moon, when all of a sudden, a bright object came from the south, slowed down,then circled the moon in less than 5 seconds. Then sped away going north. The speed was unbelievable. We still don't have anything that fast. The
ufo,in my estimate was 20 miles in diameter
