On 28th December, my wife and I along with our two children, my Brother and sister in law along with their two children decided to head to the beach for a winter walk on a sunny December afternoon. As we stepped onto the sand something flashed in the sky out over the Atlantic Ocean beyond Glashedy rock which is approx. 2 miles off shore almost exactly North of our vantage point. I would estimate that the object was at least a mile further out to sea than that at the time we spotted it, coming in over Malin Head, Ireland’s most northerly point. It was travelling in a South Easterly direction, down Trawbregga Bay towards Malin Town. It moved relatively slowly, not more than the speed a Boeing 737 takes off at. It was hard to tell what was going on at first, but the object flashed about every two seconds. As it came in over land it was much easier to see. I estimate it was about 80-100 feet long, and between 8-12 feet in diameter. It moved incredibly smoothly and silently. The item was rotating slowly horizontally. Every time it revolved, the sunlight would reflect off its surface and that’s what was causing the flashing. We stood there watching it fly all the way across the sky heading towards Malin town until its view was obscured by the sand dunes. The oddest thing about the entire encounter was the fact that 4 adults and 4 children stood there and watched it fly by, two of the adults took out their phones and filmed it. But when we watched the video back, the item is not visible in the footage. This thing was not a aeroplane, it had no wings, it was not a helicopter, it didn’t have rotors, the entire thing was revolving horizontally. It was not a drone, it was way too big for that. It seemed very solid and rigid and it was perfectly cylindrical, it didn’t appear to be any kind of fabric, I am sure it was solid metallic object. It continued in the same direction rotating horizontally like a helicopter rotor with the exact same slow frequency, about every 2 seconds. It kept at the same height for the entire time we watched it. There were no lights and no sound. Once it went out of sight we never saw it again.

I was on my way to meet my wife and daughter for lunch

I parked my van, and was walking to the cafe when I met my brother going to work in a nearby restaurant, I stopped to tslk to him and saw the object in the sky above his head, got out my phone and started recording. The object had no wings, no propellers and was completely silent. It looked to be white in colour round on both ends and went in behind a cloud and did not come back out again.

A very large black triangle stationary in the sky.

On a very bright moonlit night my friend and I were walking home from a Boy Scout meeting. As we approached the end of the lane that leads to his house, we stopped for 5 or 10 minutes to have a chat, as was our habbit. While standing there I was commenting on how bright to moon was ( I think it was almost a full moon, certainly very bright) as we stood there, it suddenly became noticeably darker. We both looked up to see a massive completely black equilateral triangle shape sitting directly above us. It was silhouetted bumpy the moon’s light. It had no lights visible on it whatsoever. It emotes no sound whatsoever. It was sitting between the height of the clouds and the moon, as we could see clouds passing underneath it. As clouds passed under it you could see its shadow projected on to them. It’s difficult to say how big it was, but certainly bigger than a Boeing 747. As we watch in utter astonishment, a cloud passed underneath it and when the cloud passed, it was gone. Completely gone. No trace. There was no sound no lights, nothing, just vanished. I turned to ask my friend what the hell we’d just witnessed and he was already gone, running down the lane to his house as fast as he could run. I ran home myself, told my parents about it, and of course they dismissed it as a plane or something.
