We saw a star-like light in the clear night sky. It first moved vertically down, then changed direction and moved west for about one minute. The light twinkled naturally, had no sound or blinking lights, and did not look like any known aircraft, satellite, or meteor. The movement was smooth and unusual. Both witnesses felt fear, excitement, and surprise. We couldn’t record it due to low light, but both clearly saw the same thing.

The pollution doesn't let us see starlink but it was so similar, it is not the space craft or man made thing,no moving,not satellite

We live in Shiraz, I am an astronomer student so I haven't ever seen this before, it was big lights exactly in a mathematical order diagonally dots togheter, white color, 6 to 7 minutes, light pollution and population doesn't let us to see starlink in the city but this one was not starlink. I am not saying aliens but unknown(UFO). The video have been viral on Shiraz Instagram. This happened exactly the hours before Iran attack to Israel. I am known with military things but it was not missiles. I mention that it was many hours before the attack so it was not military. No moving but unknown. It was in the West, under the Orion's constellation. After 7 minutes it disappeared with no light or speed or even moving.

A red ball hovering in the air without any sound

I was sitting on the roof at the mentioned time. The weather was calm and very hot. My head was down, facing the roof. Suddenly, from the corner of my eye, I felt that something was hovering in the air to my left. I turned my head and saw a red ball, about the size of a handball, hovering about 5 meters away from me. Out of fear, I stood up a little from my chair, intending to escape, but I saw that the ball moved slightly backwards. While I was half-standing, I saw that the mysterious ball slowly tilted towards the northwest and entered a garden across the street. The garden was abandoned and had tall trees. The ball passed through the trees in such a way that I was truly shocked. It was clear that a very advanced system was controlling it. When it reached the middle of the garden, it suddenly shot up to the sky at an incredible speed, becoming a tiny dot, and then, with the same speed, it came down to its original height. It repeated this maneuver once more and finally landed in the garden.

I made my way to the garden and saw a large rusted lock with a thick chain on the entrance gate, clearly showing that it hadn't been opened in many years. I asked the locals, and they said they didn't know who the garden belonged to. They mentioned that when we were kids, it was rumored that some people had entered the garden and never came back.

Since that day, I have never seen that magical ball again, and I still long to see it. I strongly believe that we, humans, are not the only sentient beings on Earth, and they are very, very close to us.

UFO lights above Tehran, Capital of Iran.

U.F.O Phenomena over Talleghani Park (world of kid Park) It just appeared several seconds shook, moved very small and a little rotated. then disappeared. I decided to take photo as note down to remember the location, time, it's place and ... I just took a photo from the black sky, free from any light.

When I opened the photo at home, I wondered. Because the lights were recorded on the photo! Maybe because turned into infrared.

When I was taking photo, it was about 30 seconds after the phenomena and the people said: "what R U doing? It went...." I took 2 photos by my cellphone. and in next photo, the Unidentified Flying Object has changed it's place.

I searched on the internet and saw that a photographer has recorded a U.F.O exactly over this location 20 years ago.

Most cameras such as SONY can see infrared. Now when I zoom it, I see there are more the one UFO that have recorded in this photo by infrared.

we did not see any thing directly, so after watching the pictures in my gallery, I found Unidentified Flying Object in the sky. The location was in mountain area. The object is approximately in the middle distance between clouds and plain area. Its color was completely black with no light.in zoom position of camera it can clearly seen the 3D shape of this object (parallelogram.) during 10 seconds later, my son took 2 other pictures in the same view without any appearance of this UFO. Furthermore, this object was in static position in the picture.

this unknown object jumping in sky

In 22.1.2015, at 13 pm. in order to water my vases, I went to the roof of the building when a white flying object in the southwest of the town with an altitude of about one km above and a distance of about the same caught my attention.

Staring at the flying object I was in doubt whether it is a balloon or plane or at least a flying toy of a child playing near around. As it is got closer I saw a light shining at the top of it like the reflection of the sunlight from the surface of a metal. But what was strange is that the object was rotating or it is better to say that it was tumbling while getting closer and closer.

It wasn’t in a standard shape with a whole body in total white. I found out that it wasn’t an ordinary flying object. After 20 seconds it had an altitude of almost 1 km and a distance of about 100 or 200 m from my standing position, when it realized my existence. Due to my bad luck it changed its direction to south east and slowly gained altitude to reach the top. In my estimation in the nearest point within me reach the object had the diameter of a ball.

I came down to come up with a camera so quickly. When I returned it had reached an altitude of about 3 km at that direction. It started to circle around with three sudden jumps, then the object went up and up and got disappeared in the clouds. Each time the wind moved the clouds I took a photo from the unveiled flying object. Meanwhile I got aware of a second flying object with an altitude higher than the previous one in a stationary state. That wasn’t clear enough to be watched. After about 4 min they gained altitude again and moved toward northeast along the clouds. 1 hour later it was almost impossible to sight them clearly.

One day later in 23.1 at about 11.30, I went to the roof once again with a camera. After 5 minutes of searching the sky, surprisingly a white shining object took my attention at my left side. It was moving from northeast to northwest with a high speed in a straight line with an altitude of 200 m in a distance of about 400–500 m. while I was turning my camera on (after 5 second) it completely stopped and just in one second I saw the object above the mountain like a bolt out of blue. It means that just in 1 second the object has made an unbelievable jump 1 km above the mountain or I have a made an optical illusion.

At that moment, I doubt deeply of my observation, if I hadn't took a photo a day before I eat several narcotic tablets with three day of staying in bed talking to nobody. Anyway after the jumps the object stopped for seconds while it was suspending. Then it started to circle around upward like a day before and jumped for several times to be leveled with the clouds. I got shocked. I was totally confused. I turned the camera on but before I could zoom on, it gradually paled and disappeared completely.

For the third time in 27.3.2015 around 11 or 12 pm, I was about to see another case moving again from the southwest to the northwest with a high speed. But it wasn't recognizable anymore and passed above our house in a completely strange and unpredictable line from those of which observed a day before. The point is that a white translucent light was at the top of the object. In addition its motion in a crinkle way accompanied with increasing in altitude, periodically.

Tonight, we had been just get out of our class around 10 pm and we were walking towards the car that I just started watching the sky as I usually do at nights.

First the moon caught my attention, but few seconds later I was astonished by noticing a red-brown circle almost at the upper side of Orion constellation. It was very big in comparison to the usual size of the planets like Jupitor or Venus as one can see with naked eyes!

I checked with my friend and she was also very surprised by that.

Actually, it was like a very big planet, I were not familiar with astronomy I would have said it was a planet passing by, but fortunately I know enough that none of the planets could be seen at this size with naked eye.

Anyhow, I did not noticed any motion, and after few minutes it can not be seen any more.

Anybody may know what it could have been!?

First thought that it’s a lantern-kite/balloon with a flame burning inside, it was about an hour and half after dark in Tehran, duration: 19:50 to 19:55 local time in Tehran (GMT + 3:30).

I was on heights of North Amir-Abad, and it seemed the object is moving upwards from stadium on the southeast of my sight (about 2 km away).

The object moved vertically upwards, maybe up to 5 km elevation, then began to move north-northwest, with a constant elevation.

There was no sound and the speed was about the speed of a helicopter (maybe about 100 km per hour), considering the 5 minute flight and the distance to the Alborz Mountains north of Tehran (about 8 km), which this object disappeared moving into fogs on the mountain tops of the Tochal Peak into the dark.

During the flight the internal flame with an almost 1 second pulse was continuous. Color of the light was orange (color of fire-flame).

This is NOT a photo that i took.

A Persian friend (Iranian) here in London highlighted it to me and although I cannot sensibly determine much, it does appear to have captured something triangular in flight overhead (perhaps you can analyse a sense of dimension to it).

At first glance, the image appears to be a black triangular flag, but upon zooming in overhead, one can reasonably assume that the black triangle is higher above. If you can dismiss/explain the object in the photo (is it a software/stitching flaw caused by the 360 degree nature of the camera shot?

Other shots from the same photographer have no such issues though...), would still very much appreciate your doing so online for all to see/understand. I am not sure if the fact that this photo is taken in Iran makes it more, or less, compelling! But it's definitely interesting! Here is the link:

ufo traveled at high speed for 2 seconds changing its path

Sitting in my car i saw a very bright light in the sky, from the side i was looking it was pretty bright. i saw it passing in a straight line with a very high speed just below the clouds,about 1 kilometers away, as i turned away to tell my friend to look at it, it vanished the thing made me thing it was a UFO, 1.velocity was so high, it traveled maybe a 1 mile in 2 seconds 2.the white light, the light was not for seeing in front of you, it was just maybe for others to see you 3.if it was an object coming down from outside earth orbit i would have seen the rest of its path, but it didn't continue to its path, it was traveling in a line with a little downward slope, but it didn't continue like that because i would have seen it when i turned my head, it went up in the clouds and vanished i guess 4.there was no sound, usually planes,even small ones when they go in high velocities, there is a sound , no sound at all

observing a UFO on Tabriz Sky. IRAN (Picture and movie avalible)

I live in Tabriz, Iran (city Location is: 38°05'00.0" N 46°18'00.0" E I don’t say exact location because of some personal securities). On 11/16/2001 I went out to do an ATM transaction. But because of lost card number I ignored going bank. In this time I looked sky like ever (I like astronomy and observing sky) and see and I saw a big object with orange light in sky. I have some information about sky. That was not like moon so other objects like stars, planets, handmade balloons, aircraft and so helicopter (I will describe that why). First time I watch it I guess it’s a tower end light (light for prevent aircraft accident) but I know there good there was not any tower. So its altitude was very higher than any tower I could imagine. Because I was not ready to visit a UFO more than minute I just checking that. Then I decided to take a picture. I took one picture (setting mobile for photography takes time). After one picture I decided to set my phone camera fo! r take video. I started my video camera and look at its screen and so I didn’t see anything. (Later when I was watching my video I saw object was in video for some seconds with changing its lights. then object disappeared. I returned home and opened my pc, because of fogy sky I couldn’t see any space object like stars and others, so I had to use a good astronomy software named TheSky 6 when is see that’s screen I afraid because, software was showing that in north east of me was not any planet or moon. Jupiter and Uranus was in west of me. So magnitude of Jupiter was about 1/10 of object that I observed. It was not airplane because of it was in fix position for minutes. It was not helicopter because of no sound in quit night. It was not moon because of position so its size was about 1/5 of moon and moon didn’t rise yet. It was not handmade balloon because no (fire flicker) I know balloons. So when I watch video I saw color changing before disappear (orange to white and vice! versa. My higher option is a UFO.

I saw winking object that was flying rapidly from west to east

a winking object was flying from east toward west, which seemed as if it is orbiting the earth. The light of that was switching from red to silver alternately. It was moving as much rapidly that I had to keep track of that from an other window within a short time and I think the moving from south to east took something around 20 seconds and when it reached the east the light started to fading,or maybe it was due to weather condition that it seemed like fading to me...so I lost track of that.

can it be something like an airplane or something like that from human made objects,or it's an UFO?

Two UFO Caught on Camera from a balcony at night in Tehran Iran.

Hi, I came across a video in youtube which shows a man recording a UFO from his balcony on a busy night in the city of Tehran Iran.

The video was uploaded on Feb 15th 2011. I am not sure exactly when this event took place. If your interested you might want to contact the person who uploaded this video directly for more information.

I am not a huge UFO fan but a friend of mine sent this video and made me puzzled to figure out what aircraft or spaceship this is? This is extremely interesting and a must see footage for those who are in UFO research.

two V-shaped UFO's with blinking lights in with different color, one stoped in the skye for 20 mins.

We (Me, My mother and my brother) were the direct evidences of this event, the next day I heard anothor one who has seen this.

On July 18, 2008 at about 10.00PM Tehran time, me and my family have seen two strange V-shaped objects flying up in the Tehran's sky coming among north-east to our position in north-west. At the first sight I thought it's just a lighted kite but after a while I seen that one of the objects disappeared and the other one stopped in the skye in the altitiud under 2KMs. It was compeletly silent and had no identific sound, when it stopped I discovered that IT'S NOT A KITE because there were no wind on that night and if it was a kite and it used the and there were wind on that altitude it should move a slowly and even it was to high to be a kite. After that I brought my telescope and digital camera to take a shot from this object and look at it in a closer view. First I looked on my telescope and I saw that it's a V-shaped objects with 9 colored lights which I can't see the body of this object becuase it's too bright. The color of lights was Blue, Orange, Green and Red and they was blinking.

I set up my digital camera with tripod and took some shots from this object with 15x optical zoom (5 MPxl of resoloution) and I also took an IR shot of it to check weather it use Jet engine or not but I saw nothing as a heat based engine in my IR photo! The sky was absoloutly clear and there were full-moon.

The 2nd object which I took a shot of it stoped for about 20 mins in the sky and started to move to north-east and it suddenly disapeared. It's movement was not too fast and wasn't too slow either.

I saw this object again on the next night on July 19 but just for the short time and it disappeared quickly and I lost to take any shots again on that night.

After then I started to take a video from that object in a normal and IR mode.

I have a plan to upload this fully-detailed video to Youtube for public view! After that night I searched the internet for the same evidences and I found the same thing which have sighted in Tokyo in 2006: http://www.ufodigest.com/news/1006/tokyoufo.html I searched again and I found that in 1976, two Iranian Airforce pilots and the tower chief of Mehrabad Airport and many of the Tehran citizens experienced the thing which is partly similar to what I saw that night. Gen. Parviz Javari, was the direct witness and the 2nd pilot who tried to distroy that object but the weapon and control tools of his fighter jet (F4-E) was disabled after trying to target that thing.

Bright white/green/red pulsating light pacing my flight over Iran

I was returning Florida from a business trip to Mumbai, India. I was on a Delta Airlines flight that left Mumbai and connected in CDG airport in Paris, France. I was in a busines class seat that had the option of watching the plane's location on a GPS map on the seat-back in front of me. It was dark and in the middle of the night; most everyone on the flight was sleeping at the time.

I had a right window seat near the front of the plane. Since I have trouble sleeping on planes, I routinely looked at the GPS and then out the window. The route took us north through Iran, then turns left at Tehran and heads NW towards Europe. While still heading north through Iran (before Tehran), I noticed a light to the right of the plane, not too far away (less than 1 mile I'd guess), and slightly behind us. It was a white light, but soon it pulsed into a green light, then pulsed into a red light. It alternated between those 3 colors, but sometimes appearing yellow. It did not change colors in an pattern (white, red, green, red, white, green, yellow, green, white, and so on), nor were the times in a patern...sometimes it would go 10 seconds before turning colors, other times it would go 2-3 seconds.

It was definitely pacing our plane, but would sometimes pull even with us nd other times fall back a bit. It was flying at the same altitude.

Since Iran is hostile to the US, I began to get concerned that perhaps it was a military aircraft with malicious intent. I got the attention of a flight attendant and pointed it out to her. She too was surprised to see the other craft. She said she'd ask the Captain about it. At that point I'd seen it for perhaps 15 minutes, and then we began the left bank to head towards Europe - we were over Tehran. The light fell back and out of sight. As we straightened out and began an even flight again, I kept looking back. Sure enough, about 5 minutes later the light reappeared, catching up to a spot in about the 4 o'clock position. It continued to pulse and change colors. As the pre-dawn light started to lighten up I thought I could make out a shape...it looked like a rounded triangle - kind of like a football, cut in half, tip up. The lights apeared to be spinning with the craft, but very slowly.

The flight attendant returned and said the Captain was too busy to discuss it at length, but he wasn't aware of any other aircraft flying with us and he couldn't see it when he looked (maybe we had just turned). I pointed it out to her again, and she gave a "hmmm", then added she was sure it was nothing to worry about.

I continued to watch the thing for a combined hour....then suddenly it quite changing color and remained a bright white for perhaps a minute, then blacked out and I couldn't see it.

As the sky totally lightened up over the next hour or so,I continued to watch for it but never saw it again.

I've done that flight route over 15 times, both before and after that event, and have only seen the thing that one time.

a blue and red UFO

I didn't know about this site but when I found out I thought I'll have to report it so that experts might be able to tell me what it was.

I was on vacation in the mazandaran provience I don't know the exact position but three nights everynight at abot seven to nine or eleven night a flashing object which stood still which consisted of blue and a small but clear flash of red.at first we ignored it but then one of us told us nothing could stay up there for so long at least nothing manmade so we took our binoculars and set ot looking for it.we then found it at about south of our position.we took pictures but it was to dark so nothing was clear yet the object was sitable with a simple eye.the next night it appeared almost at the same time north of our position but this time its flash of red was even clearer than before.we ignored it for a few nights and it wasn't there anymore after three nights.so one of us sugested maybe it was a baloon but something funny was it was as though the blue light was in the middle and a red light was circling it which only became clear when it was facing us because the blue light never went out.

Deputy Governor General of Kerman province Abulghassem Nasrollahi told FNA that the crash which was followed by an explosion and a thick spiral of smoke has caused no casualties or damage to properties.

He further denied earlier reports that the explosion has been the result of a plane or chopper crash, reminding that all the passing aircrafts have been reported as sound and safe.

The official further stated that investigations are underway by police and other relevant authorities in this regard.

While other reports spoke of meteors, Nasrollahi said there were no conclusive witnesses in this regard but he did not dismiss the possibility that the crash has been caused by a meteor.

Eye-witnesses assure that the explosion has been caused as a result of the crash of a radiant unidentified flying object onto the ground.

Meantime, an informed source told FNA that the object has been on fire and there has been thick smoke coming out of it prior to the crash, concluding that the object couldn't have been a meteor as meteors do not smoke.

The source also said that the crash has been witnessed by people in several cities, and mentioned that the rendezvous point is located 100 kilometers from the provincial capital city of Kerman.

He said that people in the city of Rafsanjan also reported to have witnessed a similar incident several days ago.

Similar crash incidents have been witnessed frequently during the last year all across Iran, and officials believe that the objects could be spy planes or a hi-tech espionage device.

I and my wife were travelling from Shiraz to Yazd in Iran , it was around 3 am in the morning and we had passed 'Abarkooh' a small town between Shiraz and Yazd and both of us were half asleep and half awake when suddenly while gazing out of the window of the bus i saw 3 to 4 lights in the sky which seemed to move along with our bus,

at first i thought i was seeing some stars but then all of a sudden 2 or 3 of them disappeared. While i was trying to show them to my wife, i saw them on the other side, i.e. through the opposite windows of the bus, and then even my wife noticed them. They seemed to be dancing on either side of the bus with eye blink speed and this continued for a few seconds after which we could'nt see them anymore. They just disappeared.

It called my name and said: I am going to show you the direction of my move.I go forwards a distance and then move down and wait and go back to the same location. he stopped. I watched and he-as he sounded moved in a second on the same pattern. he did it a few times. I thought the star was not moving, but the earth was and may be it was an immagination that it had because the reflection of observation.

it was about 11:20pm the clear sky at night and I left the factory along side of my colleagues as usual, I looked into the sky, suddenly I was gobsmacked by seeing the moon in the north, I like the night sky and know from my interest that there is no planet or star can be seen in the north, so ifelt lost and looked for my direction to the north, as soon as I turned south I saw moon in the sky and told others to look we have two moon in the sky tonight, we noticed the other moon in the north is changing its colours, going from white slightly to blue, purple, red, green, yellow and back to white, i noticed the object is moving to the north and back to south in Tehran sky very slowly, we were gazing to the beauty of the new moon in the sky for about 30 to 45 minutes till we decided to leave and go home as it was a very cold and freezing night.

On August 20, 2003 , at 1.45 PM (sunshine) Me and my Cousin were driving along the Caspian Sea from Chaloos(small beach city) to Shahsavar (another small beach city) on main Road.

Between Chaloos and Shahsavar near to Nashtarood (beach villag), at the west side of the Road (south of Caspian Sea) near the forest , I saw two strong apart white Lights abouth 300 meters up in the Air that they moved very slow to left and right , up and down.

They were 2 km from us , 5 to 10 meters diagonal big , The lights shape were oval , and for some secounds their light Beems were Blue and Yellow.

I can not compare that strong beautiful lights with something else.

I told my cousin to stop the car but because of the heavy car Traffic He could not stop it, after I keeped looking them for 20 seconds because of the tall and big Trees beside the Road i could not see that Lights for 1 minute.

after 1 minute i could see that Area again , but i did not see that Lights any more.

I was asleep at my aunt's house in my cousins room. I woke up 2:30am(1993) in the middle of the night without even preceding a dream or a nightmare. It was weird. Then I knew something was wrong. So I got curious to look out of the window. I remember I always used to look at three bright starts in a triangular shape in the sky because I always felt something about them. I was looking out of the window for a few minutes. Then I suddenly noticed one of the stars (I always used to look at) was shining so bright, but nothing happened for a few seconds until I finally saw a bright object appear exactly from that spot with the same size of the star that I was looking, and was inclining in my direction (and growing bigger). I was shocked when I saw the scene. The UFO reached me in just about two seconds with so much speed that the scene was like slow motion and that was the scariest part of the incident. After it came right in front of my face, I was just looking at it (like if I was trying to explore something) without even getting scared. But after three or four seconds it vanished. Then I got scared again and I started crying. I couldn't believe it because I was a kid (11 years old) But still, I wonder why I woke up when nothing even happened and knew that I had to go by the window and see those 3 stars until a UFO comes out of one of the starts, exactly in my direction and right in front of my face and then it vanishes. At first the object was like a star. But then it turned into a UFO and it grew bigger when it came closer to me. The object was very bright and it had green, red and orange lights. Unfortunately the object was so bright that I couldn't even see how the body looked like. But after I saw the UFO pictures, I presumed it was like the large pleiadian ship (~20 meter diameter, 18 ports around rim, red/orange bottom)

i was researching in the internet by my cell and saw your website and wanted to report you somthing that i allways wanted to say it to somone, it goes back to my childhood that i dont remember exactlly the time but about 18 years ago when i was 12.

the time was about i guess 5 or 6 am that sun didnt came on and every where was dark, my mother and i went out to buy breads, because that period of time in tabriz city of iran, bakeries were very bussy, because of that we went to bakery very soon at dark to buy early.

we were on the way to the bakery between shohada street and yousef abad street in abbasi of tabriz that i saw a circle shaped thing on the sky with lights around it, it was just 1 and moving from one site to another like airplane but very gently, it wasnt far from ground like airplane, the destance from that to ground was like a bird was flying in sky, i didnt tell my mom about it thats because i thought that it is normal and it was a plane but didnt know it was a UFO, believe that i saw UFO and now i remember clearly that it was circle with lights around it.

This is not something that i have seen lately, but what i saw was so imposible that i have never talked about it before.

I was spending my sommer holiday in a town called Hamadan in Iran in sometime between 1984 til 1985. I was staying with my uncle in a airbase named NODJEH near a village called Kabotarahangh.

One night me and my uncle were going home from his friends house and suddenly we saw something in the air that was so amazing that we couldn't believe it we saw. And I am sure about this that we never talked about it not even once. I mean when you see something unusuall you will at least tell your nearest friend about it, but something was denying us to do that, it just blocked up there.

I saw around me and there was at least 5 or 6 persons arround, but after the end of the show every one just went on their way. Why? I can not explain what I saw but I tell you I saw something. It was as big as maybe the moon first but that thing got bigger and bigger in seconds, so big that I thought it would cover the whole sky. But after some second it just disappeared.

I know!! I have seen some stars.. no maybe some aircraft... or maybe just something created by light from other stars...

I don't know!! But what ever you say, I am just sure about one thing. That thing was real, huge and impossible. I have never thought about this before, but ever since i saw this thing I feel strange.

I just had to tell some one about this...finally!

I saw something in the sky over Tehran in 1976.

As a teenager, I was just 16 when this happened, in Tehran I had exceptional freedom. I roamed the streets after hours many, many times. My parents put me to bed around 10:00 PM and around 11:00 PM I took out of my room, down the wall and out on to the kuche to meet up with some friends.

After a couple of hours of, eh, recreation I headed home.

I hopped onto the wall that surrounded my home, from there up to my balcony and just before I opened the door to my room I heard the roar of afterburners overhead. I looked up and saw an F-4 full throttle screaming across the sky above me.

Thinking war was about to happen, I hunkered down, but continued to watch as this jet fruitlessly tried to follow a darting light in the sky. For the next 5 minutes or so I watched a light bounce and dart, like a pinball, around the sky while the Phantom doggedly tried to pursue. From east to west, north to south they played a game of tag. On afterburner, off afterburner, the plane was way more interesting to me than than its target.

The last view I had of the object it was chasing was when something split off from the light and dropped down, in the direction of the airport. The F-4 hit the gas, full afterburner, in that direction.

After a couple of minutes of silence, I gently opened the balcony door and crept back into my room hoping my parents were still asleep. That's the story....

It was in the late summer of 1976 in Tehran, Iran. I was a sophomore at Tehran American School.

Me and five of my TAS buddies went camping in the Alborz mountains. We were laying out watching the stars late at night. The sky was very clear and the heavens were brilliant.

One of the twinkling stars all of the sudden got much larger as if is was coming toward us. Where all the other stars looked like a pin points in the sky, this star looked like the size of a dime. Then it stopped getting bigger and shot off in a trajectory that crossed about 1/4 of the sky, then it zigzagged around for a bit, and then it receded into the sky until we couldn't see it anymore.

After a couple minutes one of my friends said, "Did anybody else just see that?" We all had. It was a bright round light in the sky but I have never seen anything move like that before or since.

Around that same time, there was a UFO incident reported in the local newspaper. My father worked at! Mehrabad airport and I remember him joking about it, though he didn't believe it, and he wrote my story of that night off to satellite reflections in the sky.

I’m sorry, I missed that radio program. I think you received the two reports because an old classmate of mine sent me your link after filing one and then asking me if I wanted to contribute. Our experiences were different but I believe it was the same event or around that same time. My father was a military contractor with the Iranian Air Force back then, and it was all the talk among his cohorts. Dad was very much an unbeliever and wrote it all off to atmospheric conditions and the pilots' active imaginations. I don’t go along with that, as from my point of view, the night was very clear, and I saw what I saw. For me it was exactly what it was, an Unidentified Flying Object - no more, no less.

Possible follow up on the Iranian AF/F-4 encounters in 1976?

Just wondering if you were aware that the two F-4 Phantoms involved in this high profile incident were disassmbled and back in the US within 24 hours for analysis by McDonnell-Douglas.

here were understandable concerns regarding the effects on the aircrafts weapons panels considering that they were second-tie, state-of-the-art systems (second only to what our own forces had deployed at that time). Bear in mind that the weapons panel was "selectively" knocked out only after the pilot acquired a solid lock on the target.

MD has never been willing to discuss or even acknowledge their role in this, let alone their findings. However, after all this time, there may now be some retired employees willing to disclose the event. Just a thought.

Watched a slow moving non-aerodynamic vehicle pass me at approx 200 feet in daylight which disappeared NW of Tehran, IRAN in 1975.

While driving to work, a cylindrical object passed across the road in front of my car at an altitude of approx 200 feet and about 300 feet ahead. The object was cylindrical with a height to length ratio resembling 3 steel barrels end to end but twice the size. Object was totally quiet, moving too slow to actually be capable of flight, and had no aerodynamics to support flight at all such as wings or other control surfaces. I even checked overhead for a helicopter or anything else that could be transporting the item. Both ends of the item were blunt. I believe some sparking was evident at the rear with a trace of smoke, but not like a jet or rocket as we know it. Color was gray to metalic with a few blinking lights.

I stopped my car so I could follow the item until it disappeared behind a hill on the Northwest side of Tehran's city limit. The interesting thing is that the item passed 90 degrees over the Eastern end of Tehran's Mehrabad Airport main runway traveling due North.

Arriving at work at the airport I checked with military and commercial personnel to see what was going on thinking someone else had to see it considering the location. Apparently no one else had seen it and no reports were filed. I never spent too much time thinking about it after that until 3 years ago when I saw the 1976 reports and thought someone had the dates wrong. The smaller object in that report was similar to what I had seen a year earlier.

For info, at that time I was a USAF Master Sergeant working at the MAC terminal located on the Eastern aircraft parking ramp at Mehrabad. I was the ranking NCO and was a jet aircraft mechanic.
