I was on terrace and looking upon sky and I see violet like my first thought was aircraft but it suddenly stopped and moved left.

I was on terrace and looking upon sky I see a violet light just travelling as aircraft was traveling suddenly it stopped for couple of minutes then moved slightly towards my left then stood there for couple of minutes then moved right continuously blinking every couple of seconds that looks strange to me
