black, dark disc, hovering on the spot

Slightly cloudy weather, late afternoon, a small dark disc object in the sky, my position/angle of view 20°, object well below the cloud line, object with a triangular vertical slit wide at the top in the middle. A neighbor saw it too.

Clear blue sky, afternoon, multiple objects (4 or 5) in the shape of a Duat symbol (pentagon), metallic, shiny silver in non-symmetrical formation, motionless. Formation located pretty much above the Franco-German border line, Saarbruecken, Saarland, Germany.

The height of the formation and the size of the objects are difficult to classify, no reference points.
personal assessment: could be at about 3km (1o,ooft) height, object size 100m (3ooft)
