This report details a series of anomalous events, including electronic interferences at home and a sighting of a flying object.

Tonight, I experienced a series of unusual events. My wireless doorbell started ringing intermittently and persistently for no apparent reason. Simultaneously, my radio turned on by itself. Intrigued by these occurrences, my partner and I looked at the sky and saw a luminous, disc-shaped object with white and blue lights flashing intermittently. The object moved irregularly and remained visible for about 1 minute. Despite trying to record the event with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, the distance made it difficult to capture a clear image. The weather conditions were good, with a clear sky.

Sighting of a light orb when taking video of volcanic activity in the morning daytime

Was taking a vacation in quito and stayed in a friend's apartment which had a beautiful view of the Cotopaxi volcano. The whole time I was out there it was foggy and rainy except for the day I arrived and the day I left. When I arrived, we barely saw puffs of ash from the volcano so I didn't re ord anything until the last day when I saw a perfect view of the volcano. This time, however, I noticed a stream of smoke and ash coming out of the volcano and heading east. This is when I decided to take 1 minute videos of the activity. To my surprise, while I was taking the videos at one point I saw bird pass by and saw like a flash of light as I looked up but I didn't know if my cell phone captured it. I stopped recording that 1 minute video and immediately checked to see if I can see something and confirmed that it was also captured on the video. I best view of the orb comes in at around the 48 second mark when a bird passes by the field of vision (must zoom in as much as possible), you can see the orb just above the bird when it nears the volcano….but I also noticed that at the 42 second mark you can see the object closer to the stream of ash and smoke and twinkling in and out before you can clearly see it at the 48 second mark of the video and then it totally disappears. I was standing at the balcony of where I was staying.

I saw 3 lights, just there in front above us, one first seam to drop something with a light and then the 2nd all 3 in a triangle shape. Then they slowly disappear. We where driving down a steep mountain and we pulled over because the breaks where heating up. It was very dark night.

Round object observed for 20 mins, emitting color and moving in all different directions.

I observed this object for at least 20 minutes. I videoed it with my phone and was able to zoom in and still track it although the object moved erratically however staying within the same general area. Myself and 3 other individuals observed it. I was able to get a closer look using high powered binoculars and observed the object as being round in shape with what appeared to be spikes all over the outside which looked similar to ice cycles in shape. The spikes were emitting all different colors which appeared random.

Hi i´m from Ecuador and my English is not that good.

It was about 19:00 and was a cloudy night when i was walking i see a v formation of lights in the sky flying simetrictly the form of the objects was rectangular. The trajectory was lineal.

I was the only witness and i saw it for about 20 seconds until the disappear within the clouds.

Seen by a group of guides and birdwatchers that had pulled over to look at birds. Photos taken through a spotting scope.

My birdwatching group encountered another group of birdwatchers and their guides. They had earlier seen this bright object in the sky and photographed it. The sky was cloudless and full high sun. Although i didn't see the object myself the guide who took photos through his birding spotting scope shared the photos with me immediately. They had just seen it. It then disappeared. I didn't know who to share these with until I found your website. As the photo shows when enlarged, it is a white circular object with strange looking structures around part of it - attached to it. It is worth zooming in on the images as it also appears to have an X shape on the surface.

In talking with an Ecuadorian commercial airline pilot (former Ecuadorian Air Force jet pilot) he said he has seen what he considers UFOs in this area of the Andes on other occasions.

After 1 or one and half minute two airplanes were flying at High altitude and from N to S the other from NE to SW.

This is direction of airliners approach to Cuencia airport, these planes are large and fly low over house from where we viewed this sitting.

We live @ this location 2 1/2 years.

the outline and shape of the craft, disappearing behind the hotel.

i was staying at the Quito-Hotel,going out on the balcony,to smoke a cigaret. It was already dark outside. I looked up in the night-sky and right above the hotel, behind the navigation lights of the roof there are 7 lights hovering.

2 stayed in position and 5 moved along the hotel complex ,above. no sound, no navigation lights,slow.a dim yellow light in the center of each craft.distence was hard to estimate,but below cloud cover.the 2 craft that stayed, 1 was coming straight down disappearing behind the hotel,out of sight,but could recognize a shape. like a Manta-Ray without the tail,light in the center.after the 5 craft disappear,the last remaining craft followed the same path over the hotel.in the observation,i counted them twice and looked at my watch, so i am not mistaken.the incident took place from 18.20 to 18.25h.the material of the one disappearing behind the hotel,was transparent,like glass,but milky,like shower-glass,no see through.the outline of the craft,clearly visible.

2 round balls flying

As I decided to smoke a cigarrette, I went out the house and immediatelly looked at the clear sky searching for the stars I apparently know when suddenly one of the tiniest ones began moving straight from south to north over Quito-Ecuador at the speed of 600 or more km/h. I think I am good at calculating speed. I followed its path for as long as 20 or 30 seconds. It was so amazing for me that I cried out my daughter, ((name deleted)) who is ((teenager)) to join me and watch what I was. After giving the exact direction of that UFO, she started shouting and called my other girl who is 10 and had problems in watching the same. Fourtunately, the thre of us had the real chance to follow it until it stopped after 4 minutes more or less. By that time it was kind of difficult to seet it, but we could. Then my wife joined us.

Watching and watching I told my dauthers that at that time of night it is so hard to see a plane (only its flashing lights and near earth), but the UFO was in the outer space and was lighted by the sun that was why we could watch it even though we did not have any kind of special lens.

The telephone rang when I was in the bathroom. ((daughter's name deleted)) told me that ((her brother)) my older son wanted me to pick him up in Carapungo. ((daughter's)) friend, ((male name deleted)) had been told about what had happened. Obviously he was eskeptical when suddenly I saw another one doing the same thing as the first one, and …

two synhcronized lights crossed highway make road lights turn off and then fade

Two lights the size of a soccer ball came from a mountain and crossed the 8 line road below at 3 meters above the ground making road lights turn off. The lights were flying synchronized, keeping distance of aprox one meter away from each other and fade away once they crossed the road. I was driving and was about 50 meters fron lights crossing.

4 separate sitings in Quito Ecuador 3/5/09. 7:30 pm.

The power went out and shortly after, my dad called me to see if my power was out. My phone was upstairs, so I went up to answer it, and than out onto my 3rd floor balcony as I noticed the moon was very light. The night sky was almost absolutely clear, the stars were really shining and I could see very well, since all the sreet lights were out. I am in Quito Ecaudor, in a valley outside the city. At about 7:30, while looking at the sky, I saw something far away, as it looked like a star, moving across the night sky. This was nothing like a shooting star, as I have seen many before....this maintained its luminosity? and moved consistently at the same pace about 90 degrees across the sky. I called my dad to tell him what he saw, and at his house 1 mile away, he went out. He noticed something moving across the sky, in the other direction...i was still looking in the direction on mine as I thought it had stopped moving. Than about 1 hour later, i went back out and saw another object, much lower in the sky move across the mountain range. It definietly have a few red lights....and one white. It moved across the mountain range, than out over a valley andover a mountain. This was not a plane. Since the night sky was so clear, you can EASILY tell an airplane....and also hear it. This was silent. About 3 minutes after that had passed, another passed in the same pattern, no noise. About 5 minutes later...an airplane came in and I could notice the MANY differences in ligthing, noise, etc. than what i had previously just seen. I could see NO shape with my object really...just by the lighting, it seemed almost circule or diamond shaped, but the lights were clustered close together, so it's hard to really tell.

0020 hours GMT I saw a white bright pinpoint light brigher than Jupiter travelling South to North 2.5 faster than a satellite,

At 19:20 hours local Ecuador time (GMT 00:20 hours) I saw a white bright light but could not discern the exact shape travelling fast with no sound from South to North almost directly overhead, slightly East of me about 10 degrees, in a straight line. The light didn't vary in intensity nor color, it was a pinpoint to my naked eye but very bright, it was pure white and brighter than any star or even Jupiter. I am located in Cuenca, Ecuador which is in the southern third of the country about 7 degrees south of the Equator in the Andes. The sky was 3/4 cloudy but with breaks sufficient to track the light visually as it was well above the cloud ceiling. I first noticed it while standing in my back yard simply looking up at the stars through the cloud breaks. The air was clear however. I first saw the light about 30 degrees off the Southern horizon and was able to track it intermittently through cloud breaks until about dead overhead, 90 degrees off the Western horizon. The sun had set about an hour before so it was not sun reflecting off a plane and it was going faster than any plane again with no sound at all. It travelled at a steady speed.

It was not a satellite as satellites go much slower than the light I just saw. The light I saw went about 2.5 to 3 times faster than a satellite. I am an ameteur astronomer and know satellite an standard 100 mile low orbit speeds very well ever since the Russians first sent up Sputnik. I have never seen a satellite even close to the brightness of the object this evening.

I have never seen aircraft lights resembling this light. I'm age 61 and have lived in major airport cities all my life and I have excellent vision (corrected with slight prescription glasses). I didn't have time to rush in and grab my binoculars it was proceeding so fast so I simply observed it. It took about 60 seconds estimated time to pass from 30 degrees off the Southern horizon to where I lost it due to solid clouds about 90 degrees perpendicular and slightly to the East of where I was standing. There was no wind nor interfering noise to blot out any noise form the light source. Cuenca has an airport but I know the standard approach and exit flight paths and since there was no wind there would be no reason for planes to deviate from the standard flight approaches and exits.

I have no idea what the light source was but it was steady, silent, white, very bright, travelling straight and fast (over the clouds). I stood outside a few minutes to see if it would "come back" or if there were more and I didn't see anything moving in the night sky at all.

Sighted a 30' disc from 100-150' away, "parked" above a pond/holding tank.

(This was my second Very Clear sighting of an unexplainable object in the sky.)

On 12 November 2004, I was traveling North to South -as I had multiple times- to Cuenca (Quin-kah) from Azougaz (Ah-SO-gass), Ecuador, in broad daylight (5:00 pm). Rounding a curve, sitting on the right side of a public bus, I was astonished to see a grey/silver colored disk to the right (west side) only 100-150 feet away, above a wastewater holding tank. The disc was about 30 feet in diameter, rounded on the edges, no windows or ports were visible. It seemed rather dull -not shiney- & absolutely motionless, as if “parked” in mid-air. Traveling alone, and the only gringo on the bus, I may have frightened the other passengers as I pointed and shouted, ¿¡Qué es!? - ¿¡Qué es!? .. “What is it!? - What is it!?” Then, jumping out of my seat, I ran to the back of the bus to get a few more seconds of viewing it as we passed by. Feeling a bit bewildered and regretting that I could not stop to see how or where it might go from there, I had to surrender to the fact that it had gone out of view. I would have to appreciate what I had seen-if only for a few fleeting moments. (There was no shoulder on the road or I likely would have demanded the driver to stop and let me out).

Darn... on previous trips to South America, I had purposefully looked for UFOs in the hills and skies in and around Huancayo (Wan-kyy-OH), in the highlands of Peru, the area where Shirley McClain reported seeing numerous UFOs. I've had numerous stays in Huancayo, and in small nearby villages, but have seen nothing but beautiful night skies filled with stars and a few fast-burning meteors. This sighting -to me- was just stunning in that it caught me off-guard, had my heart racing, and kept me from sleeping most of that night.

Irregularly, rapidly moving star above the Galapagos

I was on a Galapagos birding tour, and on the deck of our expedition cruiser one evening with another tourist (almost all visitors are required to vacate the archipelago shores by nightfall). Now as the two of us were stargazing, I happened to notice a particularly bright star, which was not quite static. In fact, it made a motion, as if it were moving in circles. The motion was relative to the other stars, not the vessel. It then moved to the left, eventually obscured by a cloud.

Now I’m not a pilot, engineer, or doctor, but it’s my best guess that "star" had to be rather far away to be behind a cloud and only a gleam with no form. If it were that far away, and moving at the rate my eyes saw, I have doubts as to whether life support systems for pilots of which I am aware could sustain a body in those maneuvers.

I was looking the ski from my window (west),it was cloudy and i so par of the "the moon" at 20:00 , it was strange because at that time the moon is not at the west. After wacht a move, at 00:15 i went to the window, it wasn¨t cloudy this time. I use my program starry night to see which start i can look at, and for my sourprice it was the moon above me.

Conclution, what i first saw at 20:00 was not the moon, was someting big, shine like the moon.

I was touring Ecuador with a group (an organised tour). We were in Banos, Ecuador for two nights. On the second night, my room mate (a management consultant) was on the balcony of our hotel whilst I was filling in my journal. It was night time. She banged on the window and called me out, as she couldn't believe what she could see. I went out and was amazed. There were two small balls in the sky. They were reddish/yellow - they kind of looked like balls of lava or something. They could grow and alter their brightness, but remained a sort of red colour all the time. One of them was to the left of me - it seemed to be heading towards the constellation of Orion. The second one was zipping around the sky, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but I have never seen anything move like it before. She said that one of the balls actually came down into the valley and then went back up into the sky (but did not actually land).

There is a mountain across the valley, and from behind it was a flash like sheet lightening. Then another ball rose slowly upwards. It did the same as the second ball, following the exact manouvoures that I watched the second one do. By now, the second ball had moved to the left slightly.

A few minutes later, a fourth ball rose, again, preceded by a flash from the mountain. This did the same as the two balls behind it. The third ball had also moved over to the left. The three glowing balls made a triangle and stayed still in the sky.

At this point I was pretty freaked out so I ran back into my room and across the hall to get some more of our tour group. Two of them came back with me (one works in a laboratory, and the other is a psychologist), and the four of us watched the lights. By now, the first light could not be seen, and balls 2 and 3 were heading over towards Orion. Ball 4 waited in the sky. There was another flash from behind the mountain and then a fifth ball rose upwards. It was bigger than the other ones, and instead of doing any manouvours, it went straight across the valley and appeared to go behind the mountain behind our hotel. The fourth ball then went off into the sky, and could be seen very faintly.

I watched the whole thing for half an hour. We then had to go off for a group meal at a local restaurant. When we came out, the sky had clouded over so I could not see if they were there or not.

I didn't take a photo as there was a streetlight below us and it would have flooded the picture with light. I wish I had a camcorder though!! Even now I don't know what it is we saw. There is no way it could have been a hot air balloon or aeroplanes, nor helicopters. They made no sound at all.

Hola En diciembre, de 1999 fui embarazada por un hombre que solo lo veia en holograma pero el me dijo que se llamaba Jhon , estaba con capa oscura luego de tres semanas tuve 3 niños , despues de esto siempre me quedo embarazada, veo como del plexo solar de el sale un rayo blanco que lo une al plexo solar mio despues de 3 semanas siempre son tres niños los que vienen , el esta en el momento del parto y luego se los lleva a donde no se, me gustaria saber que hace con mis niños pues solo veo que se los lleva Ya han pasado muchos niños ,no entiendo por que fui escogida para ser mama de estos niños , y es mas se me forma una X al momento del parto en el vientre y salen por el obmbligo, la primera vez yo estaba si vi una nave que seguia mi auto era de forma triangular de color azul brillante, ellos seguian el auto pues sabian que iban a nacer los niños

with my friends we were having a nigth picnic when A. said look, LOOK!! is something on top of the pichincha and there she was a light that cross the sky twice the velocity of a concord she made stabled as an helicopter for about 10 seconds and she apparently cross the mountain by its center.

traveling by auto,11000ft. in Andes Mts, slowly, large "silver" mass not far above road level flew across in front of us. We stoped and looked around but could see nothing in the air or down the Mts.

I and my friend saw the object, I hold a BA and MA in History, amd had been a teacher for 38 yrs. the other person is a Medical Doctor , surgion for many years. I an Ameircan living in Florida and he ,Ecuadorian . We were traveling form Cuenca ,Ecuador , down out of the Andes Mts. to the coastal city of Guayaquill in the middle of the night. The doctors teenage son was sleeping in the back seat atthe time and we trid to awaiken him when we witnessed the even, but befroe we could get his attention the object had vanished, so as I recall the duration of our witnessing it was brief . My friend and I sat there for a few minutes rather shocked or in disbelief for a while and continued our trip. I didnot mention to him that I had seen simular things in the Rocky Mts. of the USA some years before.

SUMMARY: In auto driving thru Cajas Nat. Pk, 10,000ft/ Suddenly extremely bright light flashed across the road just a few yards high and dissaapeared

Im a teacher of 38 yrs traveling with a Medical Dorctor same age as I (surgeon). and an Ecuaddorian Im an American . we were traveling east from Cuenca city to Guayaquill on the coast were in the middile of a very remote area hing in the Andes Mts late at night. going slowly, When a brilliant light like silver sreak flashed in fron of the car. the doctor was driving and yelled to me "did you see that"? as I to was loooking out the front wishild at the time I said hell yes. and we yelled for his con Eddie to wake up in the back seat to see, but I was gon in a "flash so to speak. It was not hgh up in the sky just a few 100 yrds or so We were both frightened, As Ive see such things before a few other tiimes I thoght I had an idea of what it was. I said little as didnot want him to think I was nuts. Ive learned to keep my mouth closed about such things. Having experienced a sighting as far back as 1960 in the mts of Idaho and also Wyoming in another year

We saw very close, 30 feet away from us. It stopped a tried to hide behind a tree. I moved my car to keep on seeing it and it moved again to hide. But this a was a small tree so I was able to see it. y then it went away without any sound. This was filmed by a local broadcasting company y they received several reports form people that night. and it was presented by tv 2 days later.

UFO sighting with orange lights

A long time ago, when I was 9 years old, around 1991, back in my home country, Ecuador, I had a weird sighting during the night. Here is my story: I was inside my house and my mother asked me to come out and see this weird thing, so I went out and looked up, and there was this definately out of this world flying device. Since it was during the night, what I could see was somewhat a circular shape, but what I'll never forget are the lights that it had, they were orange, but very soft, they illuminated, yet didnt hurt my eyes when looking at them directly. The object also made a very soft and nice noise I've almost forgotten know. The flying object was stationary at about 100m high, it seemed as if it were going down, then my mother got scared, held my hand, and we went back inside.

I've always had that adventurous idea of asking what would of happened if I stayed there a little longer, because the UFO seemed to go down, if you have any comments on this sighting please answer back. I have always been very interested in extraterrestial life, but sometimes still doubting if mankind has actually had contact with extraterrestial beings. I appreciate your information.
