UFO was spotted from rooftop lights

I was on holiday in Paphos, staying at a hotel called Leonardo Laura Beach with my family. Around 10:30 PM, I was lying outside by the hotel pool with my brother, facing the sea, admiring the stars. Suddenly, something strange caught my brother’s attention. He turned to me and said, “What the hell was that?”

I looked up and saw some kind of metallic structure. It had an incredibly smooth surface, and the only reason we could see it was because it passed above the hotel, reflecting the rooftop lights. This thing was moving slowly and made no sound, so we were pretty sure it wasn’t a human-made aircraft.

Oblong craft no noise and no lights

Oblong craft with no wings or balloon, came straight towards me but heading more on my right side parallel with the Vrysoulles Freneros road. It was really dark and the only reason I saw it was it was high enough to catch some rays from the sun over the horizon. It was flying directly into the dark side of the planet and I saw it coming from the horizon about 2 miles away. I estimated it was 100-200 feet long and at a height of 2000-3000 feet. There was no noise and no lights just the suns reflection. I thought it must have been supported by a balloon, but I could not see one. I estimated the speed at about 300-400 mph

Spherical craft hovering between two buildings, the top and bottom were spinning counter to each other.

Sometime in the early afternoon I had noticed a relatively large spherical object hovering between two buildings in the Drosia area of Larnaca. I know the skyline relatively well and so it caught my attention. The object seemed to be built in 3 parts, the top was seemingly a polished silver, the middle was also a similar color but with square indents across the center, possibly windows but I couldn’t make it out for sure as I was approximately 2km away. There was also a red light that separated the middle from the bottom portion that spanned across the center of the sphere to the right edge from my perspective - a long thin light that did not blink or spin with the object. And the bottom seemed a darker metal like iron. What was strikingly odd was that the object was hovering in place but the top and bottom parts were spinning counter to each other, I cannot recall which directions but for example the top was spinning counter clockwise and the bottom was spinning clockwise while the center portion was still. I had observed this for a considerable amount of time with my glasses on.

I were looking for hiking trails in Cyprus, when I detected this strange shadow, which I first took to be a lake. It bothers me that I have never seen anything like it on Google Earth. Maybe it just a camera malfunction, maybe it really IS the shadow from the nearby mountain. But if you fly around a little you would see that shadows of other mountains look quite different. Also the shape seems odd. (I think it is some giant cloaked vessel still casting a shadow ... ) The coordinates are 35´08´08 N - 32´38´43 E

Red Green lights followed by pulsating white light while in thunder

The villa we stayed in was North facing as previously stated. To the east of us were mountain ranges. Every night we observed the most amazing lightning storms we've ever seen. This 1 particular night my mum was sat out on the terrace, (i'm not going to lie she'd had a few) when she shouted "is that Mars?" I immediately went outside to observe a bright solid red ball of light, looked like a traffic light color but really bright to the north of us. At this point I shouted my wife and 4 children out. This is when it changed from red to green, again like a traffic light color. Then it went back to red, green, red, green, red. It wasn't stationery it was sort of floating around from side to side. We observed this for at least 8 mins.
Whilst this was happening to the east of us, out of the corner of your eye you could see thunderstorms rolling off the mountains. This is when the light moved slowly and steadily eastwards towards the thunderstorm. As it arrived at the thunderstorm it disappeared into the cloud but then reappeared at the very edge of the cloud, this is when it started pulsating white really fast. This is happening constantly whilst lightning is striking. After roughly 2 minutes it stopped flashing and started switching between red, green again as it moved again steadily, west back to roughly the same position I first saw it in. Then it dropped really fast towards the sea, however I didn't see it make contact with the sea as the view was obstructed by small buildings.

Shadow of cloaked vessel

If you zoom in on Google Earth on the Western side of Cyprus (35˚08 N 32˚39 E) you will see a shadow. It may look as the shadow of a mountain’s crest, but if you look closer, you can see it is not. The sun is too high on the sky for the mountain to cast this specific shadow, which look like a Stealth bomber. Also similar shadows would be seen on other northwalls in the area, but there are none.

If it is a glitch in Google Earth cameras, then I expect these to be found elsewhere, but I have not been able to locate any.

I think it may be the shadow of a craft - terrestrial or not - with advanced cloaking capability. If a Google airplane shot photos from above, the craft would not be seen - only its shadow.

I am going to go straight to the point. No beating around the bush.

It was almost 7-8 years ago. At the present moment I am 23 years of age.

It was in the middle of summer in a country named Cyprus, it's actually where I am from. It is located in the Mediteranean sea. We speak a dialect of Greek, it's almost the same as Greek.

So it was me, my brother, and my mother. It was a hot silent night with clear skies. You could see all the stars above. At the moment we lived in an apartment and the 3 of us were on the balcony.

As I was looking at the stars I saw a particular star that caught my attention for no particular reason.

It was even a more faint star so nothing special about it.

As I focused my eyes on it I thought to myself "What if it is a UFO"...Then suddenly the star started to come closer and get bigger and bigger to the point of looking as if it was almost ~16 metres away from the balcony.

It was extremely bright, brighter than the sun. The light it emitted was white.

I immediately run to pick something to record it but I didnt have a cell at that time so I picked up my nintendo. But it didnt film anything as the camera is pretty useless on that thing.

It hovered there for a little bit and then it started to get smaller or less bright until it almost became the same size it was before.

Then from being completely still it flew to the right at an instant acceleration with a speed that can be described as putting your index finger in front of you and accelerating it to the right with ~80% of your strength. It was a speed I have never seen any craft do let alone with instant acceleration.

Then it came back with the same speed but to the left and it was gone.

P.S. Me thinking it could be a UFO maybe it was some kind of telepathic communication.

Maybe they heard me? Maybe they have the tech to detect brain waves? IDK.

Maybe it was just a 1 in a 1000000000 coincidence.

We saw a static circular disc in sky flashing colours of red, green, blue. Lit up in a bullseye pattern ie small red circle at centre followed by bigger green circle and finally larger blue circle.

Appeared to rotate on its axis to show line of red flights. All flashing was in a repeated sequence. It had the brightness of an LED light.

Static for approx 5 mins then descended rapidly in a random zigzag pattern and dropped out of view.

When you look at the static object on video it appears to move rapidly but this was not perceptible to the naked eye.

There was an aura of light around the object, no smoke or cloud.

Clear night with no cloud. 3 witnesses aged 48, 43 and 21.

We are on holiday in Cyprus and very hot here hence why we were outside our villa. We all videoed it on our phones. Not into UFOs so astonishing

Two white dots in the day-time sky moving eastwards seen by a father and two daughters over Limassol, Cyprus.

By nature I am a star- and sky-gazer and by profession I am a physicist (specialty: plasma physics).

That day me and my two young daughters (8 and 7.5 years old), we came to the beach near Crowne Plaza Hotel. I was laying on my back and watching the dissipation of a small part of a cloud. The sky was partly clouded. The girls were sitting near me and playing in the sand. I was gazing intensively in the sky above me. Then, all of sudden a very small bright spot of white color appeared almost above me in the blue sky near the cloud I was watching. The sun was in the western part of the sky at an elevation of approx. 55 degrees from the horizon. I could not tell the size of the object, but it was not just a point and was definitely above the clouds, in my estimation 2-3 km high. It started moving (or drifting) eastwards immediately after appearing.

It was definitely not an airplane, because normally airplanes flying here westwards from Larnaca airport are seen clear from this spot and trajectory of their take-off is at approx. 30 degrees to the trajectory of these unidentified objects. Then I thought that it may be a satellite(s), but I quickly dismissed the thought because it was a sunny day, and, surely, I could not see satellite in the sky lit blue by the bright sunrays. Nor could it be some weather-control balloon(s). And that's because the phenomenon appeared suddenly under a scrupulous eye. And, especially, because after one minute of observation… another one, same-shape object suddenly appeared out of nowhere at the same level about 10 degrees to the right (south) of the first one. And now they both were floating eastwards at the same speed.

Upon sighting of the first object I immediately called my daughters to watch it. They both saw it and were thrilled, since we were watching for a view day before the reports of UFO-sightings in the Internet. There were other people on the beach, but it seemed that nobody else saw the objects, because they were very small and moving among clouds. I think that this is sometimes the "policy" of the UFOs: to appear on a cloudy sky to use clouds as cover. Naturally, I reached for my android Samsung mobile phone and tried to film the event, but the attempt failed, because my wife took the memory stick (with her photos) out of the device. We all were so disappointed.

For a minute the two objects moved together at the same speed. Then the first one disappeared and the second one continued the flight alone for another 2-3 minutes till it disappeared behind a distant cloud in the east at approx. 50 degrees above the horizon. It seemed to me as if they were (or are) monitoring the area… in shifts.

I had a good feelings (if one forgets about the filming fiasco) and was very happy to have seen the phenomenon during daytime, because I had 3 other UFO-sightings before and all of them were at night.

Then I remembered what I understood to be my night-sighting of UFO in this area about 8-9 years ago. That was a star moving very fast eastwards in the exactly the same trajectory. The reason why I thought it was an UFO was the speed, for the object covered half of the night-sky in approx. 15 seconds, while satellites move at least 3 times slower.

I was on holiday in Cyprus. That night I turned the television and lights off and walked into the kitchen to check the door before going to bed. It was a beautiful and warm night so I walked out into the kitchen terrace up to the barrier to look up into the skies. The skies were amazing, no clouds or humidity and millions of stars.

I could see in the far distance two planes moving with their flushing lights but when I looked up above me I saw an object in the shape of a ball and other balls in the shape of a 50 British pence coin attached to it. The whole object was full of very powerful light pulsating but not moving. At first I thought it might be a helicopter but realised it couldn't because it was absolutely silent and still but vibrating. I bacame fascinated with the object and wanted to see it clearer, so I run in few seconds to grab my glasses but when I returned the object was gone with no sign of it.

'sperm' shaped craft travelling in erratic movements seen over paphos, cyprus.

My son (14 years old), my daughter (17 years old) and i were driving home from a local rugby match when i looked in the rear view mirror at my son who was gazing intently out the window into the sky, i asked what he was looking at and he said 'dad, theres something there' i proceeded to asure him it was just a plane but i couldnt help myself from being curious and i pulled over once we reached the top of the hill we were driving up. We all got out of the car and after a few minute we all locked on to the 'object'. Excuse my descriptive nature but the craft appeared to resemble a sperm cell. It glided softly overhead (about 500 feet up) and then had huge bursts of speed in random directions. Judging by its visual size compaired to its hight, i assume the main body was about the size of a boeing 747 and the tail was about the length of 3 or 4 school buses. The body appeared to be black.

Unidentified white objects were noticed in the sky above Limassol. At first i thought thew were gliders as 3 of them were close and seemed to have the shape of a cone, but then i noticed further back there must have been 50, 60 maybe more which looked like white dots in the sky - definately too far to have been gliders i thought! I got the binoculars out and looked at the 3 objects that were closer as the others were too far. They looked like pure clean white cone like jelly clouds! They drifted from left to right very slowly and were wobbly! I would guess they must have been approx. 2,5 meters high and 1,5 meters across. Very strange! Then after drifting from left to right at the same height, they moved forward above and over my house until eventually i had to leave for work! I noticed all the others were scattered along the sky in a row but remained at the same height.

Ive never seen anything similar before! My 2 sons and my mother also witnessed the scene so i know im not crazy!

I woke my husband and opened the fly screen and it hadn’t moved. Then whilst we both watched it shrank instantly to half the size and then very slowly started to lower over the valley. It was completely silent.

Before it got to about 800 feet it suddenly vanished.

I was walking towards my home, when i realized a blue-white dim lighted circular object hovering above the mountains northwesterly of the city of Limassol.

I stopped and i was staring at it when I realized that the object was moving slowly back and forward as it was moving slowly upwards... I thought that it was maybe a balloon but when i continued watching it as it was moving upwards the object was still lighted...

After about 5 minutes of watching it the object gained enough altitude to look like a star or a satellite. Then it stopped for some seconds and started flying fast in south-eastern direction while it was disappearing..

Formation of red lights

Although currently with family in Cyprus, I am a citizen of the United Kingdom.

This very evening myself an four other members of our family witnessed two square formations of light in the evening sky. These formations were approximately two miles south of Peyia.

Each formation comprised of four bright circular red lights, one in each corner of the square. As I have said, there were two of these formations. The lights appeared to be identical in colour and size. Even the formations were at the same altitude, but were maybe a mile away from each other. Commercial airlines were above the area heading both toward and away from the Island and I would say that the air traffic was medium-busy. It appeared that the lights were below these aircraft, so I would say that these lights were at between 5,000 to 10,000 feet in the sky.

These eight lights (one for each corner of the two formations) remained constant in strength and did not pulse or flicker and neither of the formations moved (they appeared to 'hover' in the sky as aircraft were passing them). The weather conditions were fine and for the entire 4 minutes of which we viewed these lights nothing obscurred our sight. Although a few photographs were taken, none actually managed to successfully capture the lights. We were unable to notice any sound from the lights. After a breif period, the lights just 'went', as though somebody had flicked a switch.

Although not linked to the above, I witnessed something similar in 2002 in Norfolk, UK. Then it was a single red light moving slowly across the sky.

White lighted spherical object flying near Limassol.

We were sitting on a hill above the ancient Amathus city near Limassol city when suddenly saw a white-lighted (like fluorescent light) flying object, flying fast above the ground and leaving a trail behind it.

A little later a friend (we had just visited an hour before) reported us that she saw an orange sphere, hovering just above the ground going up and down and then accelarating speed upwards to the sky.

Similar incidents have reported and by other people in Nicosia and Famagusta (East of Limassol) as i have read on newspapers today(10 July).

Red Light Object This object was coming from west to east. When I first noticed it I just kept looking it getting closer as it was obvious it was something unusual. When it came closer it just stopped and stayed still on the air almost above us, it must have been very high because there was no noise. It was me and my wife who were watching. It stayed on the air with no movement for around a minute and a half and then changed direction and went North, it went behind the building so I couldn’t see it any more so I went outside the building on the other side to continue seeing it but it just wasn’t there any more.

I am attaching a photo which I took from my mobile phone camera, it doesn’t say much but please note that the night was very clear with lots of stars, on the photo you will notice a very small red dot which is the object and the stars do not appear on the photo. Hope you can work on the picture for a better result.

Please contact me if you need more details. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to report this because maybe no one would believe me but I thought I give it a try.

We are not Crazy in any way, but what we saw is real.

we live in Limassol, Cyprus and at 23.20 on the 14th June 07, my wife saw a UFO, she discribed it to me the following morning as a red fireball coming out of the sea and going strait up into the sky until it disapaired.

On the 16th June at 00.45 I was sitting on my veranda and I saw some king of a bright red colored shooting star coming from the sea horizontily but this thing just went strait up towards the sky, I called my wife and she told me this is what she saw two nights before, It travelled at a great speed up into the sky until we could not focus our eyes on it and then disapaired.

This thing was no way a man made craft, we are both conviced this is a genuine thing from another planet, the object did not make a sound.

It was a clear sky evening, when I was walking outside. Humidity was very low (30%) and the temperature was 17'C if this is helpfull, without any clouds.

While I was walking I looked into the sky and I saw a washed-out dark blue object in a shape of a triangle (like an airplane at a low alitude, with no lights and not making any sound) moving towards south-east with a moderate velocity.

Limassol is located at 34'N 33'E, in the island of Cyprus at the eastern Mediterranean.

8 glowing spheres spoted over Paphos, Cyprus rising rapidly and separating at high altitude

Observer was looking towards the east. From behind a house some 1/4 mile away, 8 spherical objects rose one after the other (slightly smaller than a full moon), all bar one in a perfectly straight line, deep red in colour. Each had a "halo" of mist around each one. They were rising rapidly and got above cloud level, estimated at about 20-30,000 feet whereon they spread out in different directions. At this point they were no bigger than the stars but clearly visable as they separated but apparently still gaining altitude as they dissapeared out of sight.

Triangle shape with amber, green and white flashing lights hovering over Pygra in Southern Cyprus

I was alerted to the dogs barking into the North Eastern sky which is the back of my house in a village Pygra which is south west of the capital Nicosia. As is was 1.30 am,I decided to get up and investigate when a bright light caught my eye as it looked like an aircraft going in the wrong direction. We are on flight path into Larnaca airport and this object was going in the complete opposit direction. Then the object appeared to stop and hover. It had green, amber and white flashing lights around it. It moved in irregular directions, back and forth and side to side. Difficult to tell how far up it was but the lights were large as the size of an aircraft on on its final approaches to land. I observed it through binoculars for approx 45 mins and could see it was a triangle shape, and woke another family member to witness it. I wanted to video it as the video has a very strong zoom. When I tried to video it, it was like someone put a hand over the lens as I was unable to see anything. I checked the camera at other places into the sky and room and was able to see perfectly but again, when pointing the camera at the object, it went black and I was unable to record. When my younger daughter came into see the object, it moved behind the tree and stayed there. We could see the lights through the tree but it wouldnt come back out for a proper view.

it was a dark night over the bay of Ayia Napa. sitting on the balcony of my hotel room i suddenly saw a group of about twenty oblong orange coloured boxes appear above the harbour. They seemed to be arranging themselves from varios shape patterns and then formed a straight line. They then silently sped off across the sea and disapeared into the darkness.

flash of light moving in different directions every three minutes near orion

we have been watching near the star orion we think when we saw a bright light appear for only one second at a time, then it appeared again, i have timed it and it appears every three minutes. i know that the stars move from left to right but this light is moving from right to left and moving up at an angle it then moved at a different angle three minutes later to what it was moving in. we dont know what it is i have tried to film it but my camcorder isnt good enough to pick it up. can someone help and maybe look at it aswell, thanks

We have been reserching uso's for many years so what we saw that night we know realy well IT WAS NOT AN AIRCRAFT. It was a nise aprcling night at my village when me and my friend(300 metres neightboors) where walking from my house to his. We together have reserched alot ufo events(project and award holders of roswell insident...etc).

Now whole we are walking we always love to watch at the stars but that night there were "some" stars that where not just ordinnary... They were moving realy strange...,not as any aircraft would move, there were strange colors on these objects(red,green,bright yellow), i could sau they where moving like a stepper motor realy strange. We were watching this site for about 2o minutes when the first one sudently just vannished in front of us, the other 2 just dissapiared with it...

we were driving towards the mountains, i was in the passenger seat, we were headed north, to our left we saw a red line, it looked like something had hit the atmosphere very high up & was heading down, the redness was a trail like fire, at first we thought it was a meteor burning up but the red trail started to decrease & fade away, what was left was a egg like shape coloured black/dark silver object just sitting there in the sky. it wasn't moving, it was as if it was sitting on a pole. We kept driving & our view was blocked then after by hillsides & trees so i don't know how long it stayed for. It was not a plane nor did it look like anything man made.

Intensely brilliant objects accompany a Cyprus sunset.

I was recently on vacation near Paphos on the island of Cyprus, and at sunset on June 14 (approx 20.00hrs local time) I witnessed an unusual event in the proximity of the setting sun. The sky was completely clear and free of cloud, and the horizon in my view was the calm Mediterranean Sea to the West of my hotel balcony.

The event itself took the form of two intensely bright lights (one a pinpoint and the other a streak or slim cigar shape). Both were located a few degrees to the upper-right of the setting sun. The pinpoint was at approx "2 o'clock" to the sun. The bright streak (slim cigar shape) of light, was situated a few degrees to the right of the pinpoint (also at around "2 o'clock") with its left end slightly inclined toward the horizon. Both lights remained stationery and continued to emit an intensely brilliant white light for several minutes, both before and after the sunset. The pinpoint then suddenly dimmed and disappeared. Approx two minutes later, the streak of light dimmed suddenly and disappeared, leaving behind it for a few millisceonds a brownish streak of exactly the same proportions.

However, some ten seconds later, the brilliant streak of light reappeared in roughly the same position (possibly a few degrees to the right), and it remained intensely bright for approx. half a minute more. At this point, the streak of brilliant white light suddenly dimmed and disappearing as before, leaving for a fleeting moment, a brownish imprint of itself against the turquoise sky.

Soon after first noticing the lights, I attempted to film them using my camcorder. However, the camcorder refused to give me a clear picture, even though it was switched to auto-focus. I therefore switched it to manual focus, but the image didn't improve. Frustrated, I then discarded the camera and decided to watch the event with the naked eye.

As a point of interest, my partner Jenny also saw the above mentioned lights and, without prompting from me, she independently described them in exactly the way I have described them to you.

I reported my sighting by telephone to the Cyrpus Mail newspaper office in Nicosia on the following Tusday morning (I spoke to a reporter called George). However, he'd had no other reports at that time. I gave him my hotel address and invited him to contact me if he required additional information. I had no further contact from him.

Nearly three weeks on, I am now back home in England, but I am still deeply puzzled as to the nature of what I witnessed on June 14. I am a writer by profession, and I'm always keen to get to the bottom of a mystery.

I was having a date with a girl in a cafe when we decited to go for a ride with my motorbike to a place she told me that she like a lot. We went there and we were talking.The place was so quiet that i could hear even her stomac air moving but it was also very cold,when sutently i felt very hot,at first i didnt realise that something was going wrong till the flash light and the strange car apeared next to us no lights were on it but you could watch it very clear in the night.We stayed there could't move from fear till the man, a normal human came out of that strange car and asked me not with words or any speach but with a way i can't explain,"maybe like telepathy" something i never felt before or thought that i could do.He asked me " If i saw any stange smoke there and i answered no its night i could't see any smoke.After that he went into that car and disapeared again with out any flash this time. Me and the girl went home and promise not to tell anyone,so we did till now.

We were casually videoing the full moon, when into the view finder come what I thought was a meteor, it stopped abruptly and remained stationary for 52 seconds, it then accellerated away at great speed following the same path as it arrived, it had the appearance of a bright star, and did not have or leave any trail. This occurred over the town of Latchi Northern Cyprus, the video has been retained.

Nothing man made can be so big and fly so slow,make no sound and make night into day.

Driving home after work at about 23:15. The night was clear and the road was deserted except for me and a car about 20 meters behind me. Suddenly the sky was filled with a bright light, I braked hard from my surpize and looked up. I saw two round objects which seemed quite large flying VERY slowly (one slightly behind the other). They made no sound.What amased me was how slowly they flew and the amount of light they made. The "flying objects" were travelling from east to west. The other driver also stopped and was amazed at what he had also seen.

Copying over (with translation from Greek to English) a UFO sighting posted on the greek amateur astronomers forum AstroVox: "Witness says one night on 15-August early 1990s 92-93 (he remembered the date because it's a big holiday for Orthodox Christians, but not the exact year) observed a few meters (!) up and away from him just outside his front door, a triangular yellow/orange UFO, about 3m per side "with hundreds very very small yellow lights" hovering. He was stunned for a few seconds, then climbed up the stairs to his house's roof and saw it from above, and described it as a "low pyramid". He didn't get closer, but observed as its lights changed colour from yellow to red and in a few seconds it began to rise vertically and then shot away at incredible speed.

2-3 days after his sighting, a family in a nearby village in Cyprus was terrified because "something" landed on their property. The father was just coming back and saw a "blinding light" and ran quickly inside the house. The next day, the late Andreas Achillides from the University of Cyprus examined the site and found landing marks of about the same size. The event was reported in the Cyprus press (he would do a search and come back). "

While sitting in a large-windowed kitchen overlooking open fields on a bright clear morning with high visibility, we, as a family of three, saw a spherical metallic-looking object of darkish aluminum color, the size of a sedan-car tire, flying over the front field, some 30-40-meters from us.

The object was flying with a slow steady pace, 1-meter above the field. When it reached the end of the field, some 170-meters down, and met a thick line of trees and shrubs, it stopped, made a 90-degree turn and flying another 40-meters it reached the artesian well covered with a 2-meter-high concrete protective structure. It stopped before the structure, rose up, went over the structure and hovered motionless over it.

After hovering motionless for some 20-30 seconds, it instantaneously rose and flying fast in some 60-degree upwards it disappeared from sight within some 5-10 seconds.
