Bright orb hovering very low. Multi color lights. It's visited 3 evenings and stays for app1 hour.

1 bright orb (appears to be round) has visited my backyard/pond area 3 times this week. It flies very low, much lower than airplanes. Very bright with other colors flashing in sequence. I think its too large to be a drone, but not certain. I have never seen anything like it before. In one video you will notice the colors reflecting on the pond ice. It will hover in the area for approximately 1 hour, then leave. I notice it there between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Twice it left slowly and went off in to the distance. Once it left very quickly. It may be a coincidence, but the night it left quickly, i was outside turning my flashlight on and off towards it. I am very curious as to what this could be.

During this period, Venus was prominently visible in the evening sky, shining brightly in the western horizon shortly after sunset. I was driving and saw this object. Looked like white painted metal. No wings, nor lights. No visible windows, No audible sound no trail

I was driving home from work when I was near what is referred to as island cove head I noticed out my drivers window that there was a oval shaped white object. It appeared like white on metal from my distance. There was no windows, no wings. It was not an aircraft I have seen before. It did not appear to be a weather balloon. I could not see any lights and it made no sound. There was no trail from it like from an airplane. It was travelling at a constant speed straight ahead, not upward. I could not stop as there were vehicles behind and in front of me and I was on a dangerous turn. I attempted to get a photo but driving and doing same was difficult to capture. The object then flew in across the center of the community of Hodges Cove and I lost sight of it as it disappeared over the hills in past the community playground.
I do not know what it was and have not seen anything similar before. I am 53 and from this area and drive this road twice a day for work.

At 3:33 I was woken by my dog. I put him out to pee in the front yard. While I was waiting for him to come back in I stood at the doorway, watching. At 3:35 a white orb shot by. It was following the path of the road, heading east towards the harbour.

It was bright and white, shining like a star (blurred edges). It was approximately 3 feet in diameter and hovered 4-5 feet above the pavement. It was completely silent and sped by so quickly that, had I blinked at that exact moment, I would have missed it.

The next day I tried to replicate the speed (this road is narrow, 30km/hr limit with speed bumps) and could not get close. I surmised that it was travelling 100-120km/hr

Mid August of 2023, around 11pm-11:30pm i took my dog into the back yard to do his business. I walked to the corner of the house that faces down the driveway and immediately had a weird feeling. I'm not sure why, but I looked straight above me. It was hard to be exact, but it was anywhere from 50ft - 100ft directly above me. It was circular with lights along the bottom that had dark gaps on either side like this ( )

It happened almost the second I saw it, but it then shot diagonally over the graveyard in the lot behind me. But as it was above the graveyard, it vanished.
It didn't go so far I couldn't see it. It just went completely invisible maybe 5-600ft from me

It shot off the second my mind acknowledged it's presence. It was able to somehow completely vanish from visible eye sight, it did that in under 4-5 seconds and all completely without a single sound.

I'm not trying to claim it's a ufo, but it was either that or the government has some unbelievably advanced tech that is completely secret. All I know is that scared the hell out of me.

A large group of friends and I also saw lights in the ocean one night as well around 2013-14, like it was looking around and then shot up out of the water and vanished into the sky. I know several others in the community saw that one as well. We were just teenagers at the time hanging out on the rocks by the ocean but it's something that stuck with the entire group of us still a decade later.

Looked out window and saw the sun catching on a bright ball in the sky, it was round and fast. Moving horizontally.

Me and my mother were eating supper when I looked out the window and saw a big object in the sky. I thought it was a plane at first but then it was very fast. I got up from my seat after my mother and went to the window to get a better look. It was a silk white and sometimes shined gray, it moved horizontally, back and fourth quite fast. My mother thinks it was a eagle but I didn't see any wings or trail behind it. The sky today is clear with a few clouds.

We have trail cams in the windows of our cabin to observe if there are any intruders lurking around when we are not there. We do not go to the cabin or check the cameras often but when checked seen pictures from July 11, 2021 that were unlike anything that we have seen.
7:15 PM – Land, water and clouds
7:26 PM - In the sky an Oval object with red trailing from the bottom
7:27 PM - Object changing shape from oval to a bigger round with smaller round to the side and the red trailing now to the left side
7:34 PM - Object now closer to the ground, larger round on top with smaller round attached to the bottom and emitting lightbeams to the water in the small cove
7:39 PM - Large round on top with smaller round separated emitting lightbeams to water in the cove a little further out
7:39 PM - 8:14 PM No pictures between that timeframe
8:14 PM – Sky very bright around the two objects that are still emitting lightbeams to the water in the cove a little further out
8:15 PM – Sky is still very bright with large round object and smaller round object getting closer together and are still emitting lightbeams to the water. To the left of the objects by the cloud looks a saucerlike object with 3 lights
8:24 PM – Objects are now one object and higher in the sky but still emitting some lightbeams to the water. Bottom left, above the treeline following behind looks like the three lights that were in the saucerlike object.
Water now has a bright lights at the beginning of the cove where the beams were emitting. Around the nose of the cove is now a red light on the water.
8:35 PM – Objects are nowhere in sight
July 11, 2021 the camera took 35 pictures between 5:48 PM and 9:10 PM which is an unusual amount as it takes only a picture occasionally.

I am limited to attach 5 pictures cannot attach all 8. The first 2 I have attached looks as if they are cropped when attaching and not showing object but should be visible if you are receiving the full picture.

Scrolling through google satellite , I noticed something strange. Added an older satellite image of the same location for comparison

The sun is reflecting off this object, so it appears to be an object in the sky. I thought maybe metal space junk, but we can clearly see the green of the trees through it…like it is cloaked.
There is a black phenomenon around the perimeter of the object. Doesn’t look like a shadow.
If it is a boomerang shaped craft, the picture of it could look irregular because the craft could be banked on its side. .

I’d like to note that Clarenville is no stranger to UFO’s. we have a very notable sighting way back in 1978. Where a police officer interacted with a disc over the harbour, by flashing his patrol car lights and it flashed back! . That sighting lasted 2 hours. The Canadian mint just released a glow-in the -dark ufo coin in 2021 to celebrate the encounter.
Also in Newfoundland around 2005, A close friend of mine had a phenomenal close up encounter with a 50ft long black triangle within 500 ft distance of it, late at night. 3 white lights on the corners and red pulsating light in the middle…completely quiet…it shot a beam of light at one point..encounter lasted 3 minutes. I’ll ask him to post his encounter here.

A ship that needed help.

Notice a orange round disk lowering into the woods about five Kms ahead from where I was driving continue to drive to see if I could get a closer look. When I got close to where the orange glow was in the woods it went out thinking it was gone I decided to walk into the woods. About 230 feet in, I was shocked to see this round disk frozen in my tracks a door open still frozen in which I though I was fraiden of nothing in my life a voice came into my head and it said we are here to hurt you. Again still frozen in my tracks I did not know where this voice was coming from, I was looking at this being not sure to make of it and it's mouth was not moving. it said they had trouble with their ship and need my help. They needed if few items in which I had to get. No not gas or oil it was electric items my pretty sure it was the lithium battery's they were looking for. I did get these items for them and was asked not to say anything to anyone. Before picking up these items for them I thought I was day dreaming this I saw my self driving away not thinking I was going to do this. Again the voice appear in my head even being a nice distance away. We need your help I could not bring my self to tell my wife thinking she might think I lost my mine. After dropping off the items they needed they spent sum time working on their craft. They were there for five days not working on the craft but was waiting for lightening to charge their craft. They ask me again not to say anything who was going to believe me anyway. I went there three times to see if they had left but was still there. The voice in my head said no need to come where we are it would be more safer if I stayed away. They said I would know when they were leaving and I did. On July 29, I was outside having a smoke looking at the sky still not believing what had happen was real a wave like hum sound was over my head it was them. They sayed they was really glad I was there to help and that if there anything they do for me. The only thing that came into my head was to go for a ride in there ship why I don't know. They said that they could do that but it would be for another time because there was very important things they had to do and would explain later. For a guy who was frozen shitless is now at peace with these beings. As they were there they was gone not knowing when they will return I will be waiting and I have a lot of questions I have to ask whether I go in outer space or just in their ship I will know what is out there something no one knows. Until then I had to share this believe me or not this was real. I will share my story went they return and what I learn.

2 Triangular craft seen in Newfoundland with 3 lights centred on the bottom, lasting an hour, then leaving.

I saw an 2 Ovni, 1 over my workplace overhead, whilst smoking American pipe tobacco. It was rather startling to say the least. I later saw another craft in the distance. The event lasted about an hour in duration. They had a 3 light configuration in the centre, no noise, slowly moving, and appeared to stop overhead of me, as if it did some sort of sortie, intel op.? Late April, 2018, spring. It may of triggered an altered state. I was rather traumatized by the weird occurrence. A month later I lost my job, and ended up in the asylum on medications, after drinking American beer on Canada Day. I never did drink it again. Live and learn ...

PS.” The objects appeared in St. John’s, NL. 1 over 57 Bonaventure Ave., at the rear entrance heading south, the other over the horizon in the direction of the international airport, headed west. I haven’t seen craft like this before. The triangular light configuration was red in colour.”

Straking fireball and green flash light up the sky

7pm on the evening of Monday, October 23, I was driving along Route 10 south of the capital St. John’s and all of a sudden the sky lit up with a greenish hue which I mistook for lightning.

When I arrived home I saw on social media that people all the way far west as Bonavista Bay, a radius of approximately 300km (175 miles), saw the sky light up green as well. Many others saw a fireball streaking throughout the sky. The local Canadian Broadcasting Corporation affiliate covered it as well and showed CCCT footage of a fireball flying over the city.

Of course one’s first thought is a meteor however there have been reports on social media that people in the surrounding rural area have seen glowing fluorescent cylinders quietly flying thru the sky in recent nights and around the time of the green flash and the fireball. It might only be natural phenomena but it is worth noting for sure.

Cluster of moving stars and orange 'fireballs.'

When I first walked outside I poked my head around the corner to see the stars on January 7 I noticed this wild grouping of really bright lights like stars. They were all twinkling. I thought to myself....what group of stars it that!!! So bright and so many!! The cluster sparkled and moved away into the distance.

Right after, a number of "fireballs" "orange orbs" began to move through the sky. There was probably 8 or 9 in total. They also moved through the sky and into the distance.

A strange and beautiful sight.

My wife first saw a bright light North North East from our home about 1000 meters above the horizon. She told me and then I looked.

At first it was stationary and appeared to be red white and green. We called our neighbors and they came. One was a professional photographer. We have three photos which I can send.

The sky was clear with no clouds and many stars in the distant background. The photos show that the object was darting and changing color at a very rapid rate. We are all professionals and have never encountered anything that looked like this.

It appeared at the exact same time on the 9th. However it got cloudy and we could not see it any more.

While having a cigarette and looking at the stars on a clear night i observed a ball of light moving speraticly across the sky i watched it move from where i first seen the object until it had moved across the horizion and out of my view just seconds later two jets appered which were easily distinguishable compaired to the object as i could clearly see flashing red lights and hear the jet engines. The jets appered to be following the objects flight path which only made me question what the object must have been for government to scramble jets to follow or intercept the craft. I know others had to have seen this as the sky was so clear. Please believe this is no hoax, please observe the skys over Newfoundland Canada.

Several years ago, I was flying solo on a domestic flight from JFK to Frankfurt, Germany. It was July of 2014, I think. And the flight took off in the early evening.

We had TVs in the seatbacks, and I enjoyed following the planes’ course as it headed up the New England coast. I had a window seat that faced North as the plane headed northeast. At around midnight (I can rarely sleep on planes), we were just over St John, Newfoundland. The cabin lights were off and I could see the last dim lights of North America fall behind us. I am an amature astronomer so I was enjoying the stars out my window.

About an hour later the flight attendant asked all passengers on the left side of the plane (windows facing north more or less) to close our shades. “The sun will be rising soon and it will shine brightly through your windows”, she said. But it was only 1:00 or 1:30 AM! She came around a few minutes later and really made sure that we had those shades closed. I kept mine open a few inches and kept looking out.

Shortly after the announcement, I noticed what looked like a flare or rocket rising above the far horizon. It was maybe 100 miles in the distance, back in the direction of Canada. It was brief, in duration, and made a short orange arc in the darkness outside my window. It was likely military exercises (I discovered weeks later that a NATO base is out there).

What I witnessed within an hour after this event was very strange. Out my window was a craft of some sort, with 3 rows of pulsating colored lights -blue, red, and yellow/white. was following us about ¼ to 1/2 mile away, slightly behind us. Each row of lights flashed in quick succession -fraction of seconds. It was almost hypnotizing. It was too dark to make out a shape or size of the craft, but I could guess by the light pattern that it craft was less than 100 feet long and a height one third the length.

It would drift behind us at times, out of my limited field of view, then reappear, just to our rear. The pulsating lights seemed to reverse their top-middle-bottom row pattern at least once (though it could have been my eyes by now).

After close to an hour of this the object fell behind and disappeared for good. All I saw were stars until, 3-4 hours later, dawn began.

Unidentifiable flying craft in Newfoundland

Me and my girlfriend and her friend were walking trough town at 15 minutes to 11pm in our small town in Newfoundland, Canada. At about 10:47pm on july 23rd we were approximately 100 feet east of the town multipurpose court.

At that point my girlfriend's friend pointed toward the far shore pointing to an object flying through sky and a very slow speed. It appeared to be a square shape or possibly rectangular, it had four static red lights, four flashing light blue or white lights and extremely powerful headlights that shone approximately 10 times the length of the object. Shining in the direction it was heading.

It was flying for about 3 minutes within our view at which point it disappear behind the hill that borders the inland part of our community.  I am unable to post a photo is a rough drawing of what we seen as the undercarriage of the craft, 3 headlights 4 red solid color lights, the yellow spots represent the 4 flashing lights. You should also know my phone died on 40%.

The object started out as a constant bright white light travelling through the clear night sky. We believed at this point that it was the International Space Station since it seemed to be moving at about the same speed. Before the object was directly overhead it faded out like when viewing satellites. Once it was directly overhead it became brighter and we could see a dark grey oval silhouette with a single orange light on the back. It kept moving until it was out of site. It was hard to gage the actual size but it seemed big. There was no sound and there were no other lights.

Star shaped,white,twice the size of Capella and slightly brighter

I went outside just after 5AM Jan 27-2012 to let my dog out. It was clear, stars in abundance and the temperature in the -20's. On the back patio facing North approximately 20 to 25 degrees above the horizon a bright object, star like but in an area where there shouldn't be a star. It was the brightest object in a 180 degree arc from side to side. The Constellation Cassiopeia was just to the right. Size wise it was about twice the size of the star Capella which was to my left.

I am an amateur astronomer and it caught my eye immediately. I observed it for 10 to 15 seconds and then it went out. I say it this way as it was similar to a large spot light when turned off fading quickly to nothing. The peculiar thing was that my eyes seemed to take a few seconds to adapt to the background where it had been before I could see the faint stars that are suppose to be there. There was no missing time, the dog finished her job and I returned to the house.

The light did not move. There was no sound. I smelled nothing.

I have lived around an air base mostly all my life ( 53 years ) and it definitely was not an air craft.

we happened to all see 5-9 UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS after the fire works display in ST. JOHNS CITY, flying north west-ward , the objects came up over white hills, accelerated and suddenly appeared as only a few lights. lights seemed to be moving fast , hard to tell what it was, wondering if others made reports too. Objects seemed to go very fast, ... 3 of us seen these objects.. objects appeared to come together, or wait for one another, also seemed like there were 7-9 objects then suddenly only 3-5... objects were far away and appeared as bright stars or bright UFOS/weatherballon, but seemed way too far away to distinguish shape.

Bending streak of white light over suburban area.

~4:45 October 2009 It was early, I had been relaxing after having been out with friends. I decided to go out for a smoke before bed. It was about 4:45 am or so. I live in a suburban area about 20 minutes drive from an active airport. My house is directly under a flight path and many planes fly overhead on a daily basis. I am very familiar with the appearance of planes flying at night. I can recognize them at varying distances, in all weather conditions including foggy nights, (I live in a very foggy place.) If it is visible I can usually say if it is a plane, because of the light colour and flashing patterns that are common to them.

Anyway, around 4:45 some time in late October of 2009. I was outside having a smoke. It was a clear night and I was admiring the stars I could see from my porch and the drone of the nearby airport, contemplating the shape of the Universe, after watching some videos of lectures regarding the subject.

Suddenly there was a thick arc of white light which bent from the sky toward the ground as if it were and arc fitting nicely into a 90 degree angle. I could not see if it stopped beyond the horizon as the treeline was obstructing my view. I have observed both meteors and satellites with the naked eye. They do not resemble what I saw. This was a thick white streak at least several meters wide, and quite distant. Though what was most impressive was the speed at which it traveled. I saw the 'object' for no more than a second. And it initially appeared quite high in the sky, a little lower than the moon. It appeared as a white arcing flash of light which left a trail that subsided pretty well instantaneously. I was awestruck and my first thoughts were: “What?-So fast!” The other thing that struck me was the odd blur on the periphery of the arc.

Perhaps it was a natural phenomenon, like none I had prior seen. But my guess it was some sort of gravity manipulating craft. This is partly based upon my understanding of theoretical propulsion systems, and some of the more credible reports I have read regarding US and Canadian government activities involving UFOs.

Aug 14, 2009: location bishops falls Newfoundland Canada. Clear night without a moon. My wife took several pictures of a lighted trussel and a "moon" appeared in the picture. Two pictures of the same location were taken within second of each other, one had a glowing round "moon like" image and one without.

She stated she had a an excellent picture of the moon. This caught my curiousity, since there was no moon at all.

I took several other pictures of the area picking up a other faint round "moonlike" images in different locations. There was only one in each picture so they could have been the same image.

I was walking to my friends house when i head a buzzing sound. i looked up and about 30 metres away i saw the tiniest red dot. as i neared i could see that it was hovering about 5 feet above the ground. it emitted a blue beam that hit trees, soil and the road every little while. when the beam touched anything the sphere made a clicking noise.when i was really close it fired the beam at me. my hole body felt numb and i couldnt move my legs.some of the fear i had been feeling ebbed away as if someone was saying "calm down" after it went back to beaming soil i moved towards it. the sphere clicked three times and disappeared. i believe it was scanning me.

I observed a bright light off in a distance over the ocean. The object would steadily and slowly move over the ocean and over Cape Spear. The light would be bright and it would fade away. Whenever it would come back it would first be a little white light ,it would slowly move across where i was looking and then it would turn into a bright orangey light. This was over a period o an hour and a half and it may still have been there after i left. This is really hard for me to explain to you and totally new ground for me. I definately think that you should look into this.

I am writing this for my son. He took my camera outside one evening just outside our home, there was a nice sunset and I guess he wanted to get some pictures of it.I was setting inside when I heard him coming in all excited about somthing he had got a picture of. Myself and a couple of my other friends were walking to a friends house. It was a clear summer evening, not a cloud in the sky. I looked up and seen at what I first believed to be a commercial airplane. I pointed it out to a few of my friends. It struck me strange that the aircraft was moving extremely slow for an airplane. Also, I found it pretty weird that there wernt any lights on the aircraft as well. I continued to look at it for a few more seconds, by then the aircraft was really making me curious. I continued to walk, but my eyes were brought back to the sky again out of curiosity, but this time the aircraft was nowhere to be seen. Myself and my other friends took a few minutes searching the sky trying to find it, without any luck. This ruled out the possibility of the object being an airplane, since airplanes do not magically diasppear. Also, since it was a clear ending, I also ruled out the plane flying over the clouds. Now I'm not sure what I saw...

I was only a kid, about 13, and was playing at the local playground. Across the water, towards Fogo Island, a bright ball shot across the sky with kind of an eletrical trail behind it, at the same time, west of me, there was a rocket-shaped thing, shooting straight up into the sky until it disappeared out of of atmosphere I guess.

It was hazy while I seen it, but I could distinctly see that it looked just like a rocket from NASA, it looked huge. And it was flying upward very fast.

Orbital Object overtakes Space Station at incredible speed

While watching the Space station pass over St. John's Newfoundland at 21:40, we saw a smaller, white object, traveling at a much greater rate of speed,appear to first chase and then pass the Space station as it moved off to the East.It appeared to be an orbital object. It appeared to reflect sunlight ,and there were intermitant flashes of light similar to a tumbling satellite, however the speed was remarkable, much faster than a satellite and certainly much faster than the Space Station.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was 10:15 in the evening, my brother, my friend Jenny and I were driving to Jenny's house to drop her off for the night. Early that night around 7:30 p.m. Jenny and I had seen something strange. The same thing happen the night before and I personally think that it's because of the planets lining up. It was a oval disk like shaped object that flew through the night's sky a lot faster than a plane. The object had up to 6 blinking lights that flashed and blinked in a circular motion. My friend Crystal and I had seen it the night before & then Jenny & I saw it the night after. My parents thought I was crazy, but we all knew what we saw. My brother was driving Jenny home but I screamed and made him pull over. It was around 10:15 p.m. when this disk shaped blinking light object was spotted in the sky. It flew so fast and the lights kept going in a circular motion with red blinking lights, the others white.

Cone/triangular object hovering low in the sky with blinking red/green/yellow/white lights. Made a loud noise.

It was around 10:45 pm last night and I was in bed talking on the phone. The person I was talking to and I heard the same loud noise fly over us at the same time. It sounded like a plane was about to crash. The person lives about 5 km away and he still heard it. I got up and ran out to the window and just up over the houses above a hill was a sort of cone or triangular shape object (I couldn't really tell because it was dark, this was the shape I saw in lights). The lights were red,White/yellow,and green. They were blinking and the object was quite large. It hovered for about 2-3 minutes and zoomed off quickly. It looked as if it were spinning so fast the colors of the lights combined. It vanished over the hills shortly after. There were several people who saw it: Mayself, My brother, a guy from school, my father and the person I was talking to on the phone could hear it. I'm sure there were others as well but it only happened last night and I haven't been talking to many people who are possibly witnesses. There aren't any military bases or airports in the area. I have saw planes and helicopters in the night's sky before but there is nothing to explain the sight I saw last night.

Strange light seen on horizon and followed using atronomical telescope

I was situated in a small community north of St. John's, Newfoundland at a favoured "dark site" for astronomical viewing. The site at an elevation of approximately 350' was close to the ocean which was directly to the east. 2 Fishing vessels were observed on the ocean earlier in the evening but had moved from the area. The area is within 3nm of an airport and also a transatlantic route for aircraft. Equipped with a 5" wide field refractor I was joined by 2 friends at 10:00EST and spent an hour touring the totally clear skies looking at different star and galaxy formations. We were also observant of numerous "high flyers" (aircraft), satellites and the occasional "shooting star". At 11:00, one of my friends spotted an elliptical light toward the ocean and brought our attention to it. It moved very slowly from North to South, then at the same slow speed and direction descended. It ascended and headed directly due east until it completely faded from view. While transitting from North to South, it was observed through the telescope which revealed an elliptical source of light at the "front" and a blinking light towards the back. First thought: aircraft, possibly helicopter. Not likely. Myself and one of the other people present are experienced observers, also involved in the aviation industry and knowledgable of aircraft activities in the area. Observed numerous aircraft that night, including trainers. Altitude and flight direction/pattern were not that of normal commercial aircraft operations or trainers. No other military presence in this area either. Simply could not classify what we were looking at.

Started off as 3 points of intense yellow light in triangle formation - then grew larger - it becage a single egg shape - VERY bright.

I live in the country and was returning home (on foot) from a friend's 'Barn Party.' I had drunk about 4 beers. I was 1/2 way home when I saw 3 very bright lights in a triangle formation high in the WSW sky and I thought it was a new type of landing light system (flying school nearby). As they got closer they seemed to be slowley heading towards me and they seemd to merge and became one very intense oval shape - I glanced at my watch (police background - it's a habit) and noticed that it was approx 22:30 - also that the luminous hands and numbers of my watch were glowing EXTREMELY brightly. I looked back at the light which then seemd quite close (big as an American football) - the whole road seemed lit up when it suddenly went out - gone - just like that. I continued home, I thought at first there had been a crash, but no wreckage or smoke . . nothing. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk from my friend's farm to my home. When I got in I went to see my wife who was in bed (a cold), she was watching the 00:30 NTV news - live. I cannot account for two hours. I didn't report this because I had no wittnesses and didn't see the point of reporting it. But that missing 2 hours intrigue me. My wife can verify when I got home and friend can verify when I left 'party.' Also; I'm very reluctant to confess that I am getting 'odd' dreams since then involving what I call 'flash card seuqences' and other stuff. Look, I'm not interested in "proving" anything, which is why I kept it to myself. If I'm not believed, OK. But has this happened to anyone else?

It was a clear, starlit, inky black nightsky and we were standing on the foredeck of the westbound ferry from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia during the Persied meteor shower. My wife and I were admiring the occasional streaks when I happened to look straight up and my eye caught 2 seemingly high altitude, dully glowing, small, silent objects moving at incredible speed, one ahead of the other, towards the the direction from which the meteors were eminating. I immediately blurted for my wife to look up, but she was only able to catch sight of the trailing object. The whole sighting lasted from 2 to 3 seconds before the objects disappeared downrange towards the east. I've observed nightime satellites and aircraft in my binoculars before, but these objects were moving much faster.

When I was a kid my friends and I would always play our favourite game just as it started to get dark. The game was called spotlight which is basically just hide and seek but with a flashlight. One summer night in 1992 when walking home from playing spotlight I had an experience I’ll never forget I encountered a UFO.
One by one our parents called out for us to come on home. While walking home with a friend I remembered that I had left my jacket on the fence in the yard we were using as our home base. I said goodnight to my friend and I turned around and went back for my jacket and my friend continued home to his house. As I grabbed my jacket from the fence I could feel and hear a very low vibration. I looked around and noticed that there was something above me in the sky. I could tell from the stars that it was blocking out that it was triangle in shape but it had no lights on it at all. Upon seeing this thing I immediately turned and started running up the street to my house as fast as I could. The strangest thing about it all was what was happening as I was running. It’s like something or someone was trying to control my emotions because one second I felt absolutely terrified and the next completely calm and at peace. It went back and forth like that the whole time that I was running back to my house which took a little more then 1 minute. When I got to my driveway I looked up again to see if it was still there and I noticed that it had followed me. This time there was a very small white light toward the center of the craft and as I looked down I noticed that I was lit up. It wasn’t like it had a spotlight on me because the light wasn’t yellow or warm as we would call it in these days and there was no circle of light on the ground beneath me. The only way that I can explain it is I was looking at myself as if I was in the daylight. I ran inside and locked the door.
I have never experienced anything like that ever again. That experience stayed with me for a long time. I wouldn’t look up in the sky for years after it happened. I was so scared I wouldn’t even tell my mom about it in fear that something bad would happen if I did.

06/28/85 Newfoundland, Canada. Saw a large spherical shaped object hovering for about ten minutes.

Siting - Gander Area Newfoundland, Canada This event took place in 1985. I realize that this was 22 years ago, but it deserves telling and some attention.

My two brothers and I were on a fishing trip in a place called Bear Cave Road which is located behind Indian Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. We camped on the edge of a lake called Alley’s Pond and just after dawn on the following morning, I got up and went outside to try my luck with some early morning fishing. It was a clear morning with not a cloud in sight and as I looked toward the opposite side of the lake in the eastern sky, I saw a large object hovering above the tree line about a kilometer away.

The object appeared to be about a hundred meters or more across. It was saucer shaped and had a string of orange lights on the outside edge of the object which seemed to be moving around the outside circumference on the edge of the object. Although it reflected some sunlight, it appeared to be of a dull coloration. It remained motionless in the sky and I went to alert my brother who was up and about. We both stared at it for a minute or so when I suggested that we go over and have a closer look. We both got in a boat which we had and started up the outboard motor. All this time it still remained motionless about a hundred feet or so above the trees.

We only moved about a hundred feet when the lights turned a blue color and the object moved at very high velocity at a forty five degree angle away form us. It did not make a sound and in an instant it was gone. To this day, I cannot get this experience out of my mind. My brother and I both saw exactly the same thing and we will occasionally bring up the subject, but otherwise it is all but forgotten. I did not report the experience mainly because quite frankly I didn’t know who we could report it to until now.

Black, Tri-lobal object in sky.

It was a clear evening as I walked to my friends house to retrieve my bike I had earlier left there. As I was walking down the street, I happened to look up in the sky and I noticed a black, tri-lobal object in the sky. It didn't move and I glanced around to see if anyone else was observing the same thing. I looked up again and it was still in the same position. I went into my friends house and told him about it but when we went to his living room window, it was gone. I should point out that I was about 10 yrs old at the time.

Visually tracked fast moving satellite, two other points of light converged on it from different directions at a faster rate of speed, all three stopped, momentarily, dispersed at high speed.

Iwas 24 years old at the time, at our summer cabin at Placentia Jct. Newfoundland Canada.I was watching Mizar in my telescope when I looked up and started watching what I though was a satellite. Then I saw two points of light moving towards the "satellite "at a high rate of speed. Their speed was a lot faster then a normal satellite. All three objects stopped for a few seconds and then all three moved off in different directions. I've never witnessed such an event before or since. I have been observing the night sky for over thirty years. This event remains to this day "unexplainable ". In my estimation, the lights were very high, perhaps close to a satellite orbit. No sound could be heard. The lights did not flash or pulse. If someone has seen a similiar event, I'd like to hear about it.

this object was saucer shaped it passed over my neighbour's house, it was about 50 ft in diameter and I got an excellant view of the underside. It was directly above me when I looked up it had a circle of lights towards the center and each light was rectangular in shape also the lights had all of the colour spectrum. It cleared the house by about 40 ft and it was light blue or grey in colour.

This happened in 1975 Ive never reported it until now.

The following summer I awoke about 2;45 in the morning looking out my bedroom window I noticed a light moving along the hillsde going towards spillars cove, thats 1 confirmed sighting and another possible one in the same area.

Light followed a landing aircraft at Goose AB, Labrador 1966

I was stationed at Goose AB, Labrador in 1966-67. I always sat in the Base Commander's Secretary's seat when she and him went to lunch. I always read the "Commander's Read File" for the past 24 hours. In it was the following report from the tower: At approximately 0200 hours last night, a KC-97 was landing. A bright light was noticed flying over the aircraft, shining a light downward on it. It was picked up by radar and followed. When the aircraft turned off onto the taxiway, the light went straight up at a high rate of speed, then sped off toward the North at an estimated speed of 15,000 MPH. This light was seen by several radar operators and all personnel in the Control Tower.

This sighting was never announced in the Base or Local Newspapers.

i couldn't believe what i saw, it was like being in a movie, i still can't believe such an experience.

i went downstairs to put a log on the fire, when i heard a loud humming noise, i wasn't sure where it was coming from, it got louder and louder , so i went outside and it was even louder, i looked up above my house and right there , i couldn't believe what i saw, i yelled at my wife to get the camera, the noise had woken her , but by the time she got there she could only see the rear of the ufo and i quickly took 3 pictures but nothinbg showed up. the ufo was saucer shaped with red and blue lights and a white light around the whole ship and was only moving at about 15 to 20 miles an hour headong south west at about 400 feet in the air , right at the cloud line, i could see the clouds going over and under the ship, i know for a fact that it wasn't a plane or a helicopter or a weather baloon, i couldn't belive my eyes, i;ve never been so excited and scared in my whole life. i am now a believer, i've called just about everybody i know,hopefully this wasn't a once in a life time event ,this could of been a great video moment.
