Object captured in camera on new year eve fireworks photography assignment for the press agency

I was going for my photo assignment during the new year eve, heading towards a resort hotel to cover the fireworks display. I position myself at a Tungku Beach facing the hotel from far so that I can frame the fireworks and the hotel all in one frame. When I was there and the fireworks exploded and I started firing shots with my camera using a cable release connected to my Canon EOS 5D digital camera + Canon 70-200MM F2.8 IS (L) lens and a Manfrotto tripod stand. The firework started exactly 12.00AM (+0800GMT) at The Empire Hotel and Country Club and lasted for about 20-30 minutes. Without checking my LCD screen on my camera as most of the shots were burst frames, I left the area. When i was processing the RAW images captured from the camera I realise there was one shot which had something appearing on the left side of the screen so I zoomed in to see what it was. I was shocked! In the image, the object seemed to be hovering above the water and it looks as if it's not too far away from us. Strangely...the object wasn't being seen with my naked eye when I was there. Thousands of people gathered around the same area to view the fireworks. If i were to see it , probably the others would have saw it too however it wasn't visible as it was quite dark from our view. My eye were also drawn towards the fireworks and the hotel so I didn't notice it as it seems like the object positioned itself at a darker area (can be seen in the photo using long exposure to capture the ambient).

The news had made frontpage in our local news paper.

Circular UFO hovering in the sky and leaving afterwards.

The time is in GMT+8.

I saw the craft earlier this morning. It was hovering in the sky, I couldn't see clearly but it had different circulating colours on it. It's circular in shape, the lights are on top, bottom and both sides. It stayed there and I quickly ran inside my house. A few minutes later, I opened the door and looked outside, I couldn't see it anymore.

Spotted glowing green translucent object near Chung Hwa Middle School in Brunei Darussalam.

I was walking home after a friend's post-exam celebration party when I suddenly I heard a soft humming sound. I got pretty scared at that time because I was alone. I looked around me and saw an object glowing behind some trees about 150 - 200 feet away. I was scared stiff. The object was glowing with a bright green aura, and it was somewhat translucent. Suddenly, the object started lifting into the air: first slowly, then suddenly it zoomed up into the sky with such speed that it seemed like it teleported into the sky. (Maybe it did) By then, it was just another bright shape in the sky.

Light emitting object sighted over Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.

The sighting took place at midnight in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. During the brief encounter over the city, a video footage was taken by 2 passerbys driving towards the city. The object is seen as a sharp light darting to and from the observers. A video footage was taken, but unfortunately, the quality of the video is very poor - with the object coming into and out of focus. A third witness came forward with the story (This was printed in the news - The Borneo Bulletin).

closest encounter with a UFO - 30-40 feet away

once during when i was 14 at a house party when many kids were having fun throwing paper plates into the sky during that night...some where playing fetch, etc...i was just standing there with one of my cousin watching those children having fun...

at that time i was standing there nearby an abandon garage which is about 30-40 feet away from where i was ... i was actually staring at the sky looking at those paper plates flying everywhere when i accidentally (for no reason) I turn my head towards the right side for an moment which was facing the garage and saw an OBJECT sitting right on top of the roof top at the corner closes to us. I became stunt for few seconds then i turned about and grab my cousin's arm who was standing directly infront of me and told him to look at that direction and then i found the thing disappeared.

i never got to tell anyone because i thought no one here would believe me. i live in brunei and this place is a small country so maybe there's lesser chance for me to meet someone who have seen similar things. i was surprise to find this website where i can share with everyone who probably would have the encounter the same thing.

Even today i never got to tell much people here because im worried they will think im NUTs :0 from my memory, i remember that the object was not the typical saucer look which we always get on TV/indepandent day/internet/discovery channel.

It was something different. it was very high-tech and unique. it is nothing like what i've ever seen in any movies. There were many details on the body of the craft as if it looks like pipes / wiring attached to the body. from the distance where i was standing, i consider the object small. probably measuring about 4 to 5 feet lenght x 4 feet width x 3 to 5 feet thickness. no lights were seen. i can see that object with available lights because i was close enough from that subject as the house had some lightings around the surrounding of the garden to lite up some part of the roof.

The stangest thing i canot figure out how it can do was; the object was actually floating on top of the roof (probably less then a feet away from the roof), the roof were soft and old and it should have made noise. even rain drops falling onto the roof would make noise but from my distant i hear nothing from the object and the roof (the corner part) was not even rattling.

after that incident i've always wish to see it another time.

i told some of my friends i wish to see them again. i consider myself very lucky to see it that close because from documentary, discovery channels, books, internet sites, videos...all those who said they have seen are from a very great distant and they can't really judge how it look like. most of them say its like a saucer. but for me, it can look like anything.
