We were swimming at Tobacco Bay in Bermuda and I could not figure out what this object was. No one else seemed to think it was strange but it remained in the same place , at first I thought it was an arriving airplane, but it stayed there until the sun set and we no longer saw it.

Strange shaped object that seemed to blink out shortly after I happened to observe it.

Object appeared as a cluster of shiny crossed joined metal rods floating in a clear sky. Not sure of distance as I was unable to determine the distance to the object but I believe it was under 1 km and the height was similar. Was reaching behind me for a set of binoculars I had in a backpack when the object blinked out. I looked around to see if anyone in the vicinity had observed the object but it was obvious I was only person that happened to have been looking at that section of the sky in time to see the object and to be looking at it when it disappeared. Scanned the same section of sky for around 15 minutes but object never reappeared.

3 red dots in sky triangle formation, over south coast of Bermuda

I was driving along middle road (Bermuda) when high up I saw three red dots. At first I thought they where cell phone tower lights as in Bermuda it is small and with the air traffic it is usual.

But then I thought maybe planets-stars, but they where red and very evenly placed, also to far apart for aircraft lights.

They disappeared for right to left then the top most went last.

I would say they were not lights transmitted form Bermuda, but over the Atlantic, just of the south sohore, but very high up.

I am not suggesting they are alien, but if anyone knows of any unusual activity of the coast of Bermuda.

Photo of an aircraft approaching landing with two unidentified objects.

On June 20, 2012 I was travelling on the back of a motorcycle on a road that runs adjacent to the airport in Bermuda. I had been taking photos during the day with a Canon 5D Mark 2 and had the camera resting on my lap when an airplane made an approach for landing.

As the plane was coming in quickly my focus was on getting a sharp photo of the aircraft. I didn't notice the two objects in the image until I viewed the picture later on that day in Photoshop. All the images taken before and after on that day showed no sign of anything unusual.

I was sitting by the water edge, and too my left appro. five hundred yards away i saw a black object. Above water after a spalash going dig. to my right above a small island in front of me about the same distance but above fifty feet above tallest tree on the island and seem too change color to sliver as it was going toward a cloud digal. and stayed in a cloud until a usa airline passed where it was stationed and vert. disapaerred staright up and while talking to a friend of mine who is a expericenced photo taker he could not determine the three photo i took ,even after he maginfied the photos 1600 times. Not knowing my camera was not capable of zoming in he found two objects in one of my photos .One was silver round and the other black cylinder .

I saw a flashing light in Sandy's Bermuda. The light would fade and then go bright again.

We saw a lights flashing in the sky over the ocean. At first I thought it was the lighthouse or a light from the ocean, but it wasn't. The light was blue in color and it would fade and then ge brighter. I wasn't able to determine the actual craft shape but I assumed it was round because the lights were going around in circles.

Wierd Slow Moving Bright Light

It was pretty late one night while I was on vacation in Bermuda. My family and I we stayed at the Sonesta Key hotel.

After, dinner one night, my family took a walk around the hotel and we came to a part of the hotel known as "Honeymooner's Point". This is a point that is right along the water. My father and sister got tired and they decided to go back to the room.

Myself and my mom decided we would just hang around for little while longer since it was so nice outside.

I then questioned her about the "North Star". We were looking around for it and I spotted this bright light in the sky. I thought that it was the "North Star" because they say that it is the brightest star or whatever.

But as I watched it, it didn't "twinkle" like all the other stars seem to do.

As both my mom and I watched this bright light it began to move. Now it didn't move fast like most UFO sightings claim and it wasn't an odd shape it looked like a very bright star. But it started to move very very slowly back and forth. It moved left to right in kind of a dipping motion. Then it started to increase in size and brightness as if it were getting closer. I started to get a little nervous and started to back away but my mom was fascinated and remained there.

Then very slowly the light got very small and became very dull, barely visible. Then after a while it got larger and brighter again. Then all of a sudden it decreased in size very very quickly and it disappeared. It was as if it shot out of the galaxy. This is the strangest thing to this day that either I or my mom have ever seen.

Before this event my mom didn't believe in extra-terrestrial life or UFOs, but i was always interested in alien life and UFOs. But it wasn't like other encounters where it was moving fast across the sky and had an odd shape. It looked like a very bright slowly moving star.

While serving in the U.S. navy out to sea, I saw the same object twice and it seen me.

I Was in the navy serving on board a destroyer. we out near bermuda/carribean/puerto rico area out to sea. The first time a saw this object we were participatung in an unrep (getting fuel) from an oiler ship. It was at night and i was on the flight deck with some of my other shipmates, I noticed that the other ship had a lot of lights on their mast, and I thought that was unusual. I kept staring then notice it was an aircraft of some sort, it was following us, seemed interested in what we were doing. I kept looking at it and when told my friends to look it suddenly shut 1 light off and then the rest followed in order. It had about 5-6 lights arched or curved and they were white in color but thats all. about 2 days later I was going on watch out on the fantail of the ship(back). it was dusk not quite dark yet. we were getting a decomssioned ship ready for target practice the next day and some of shipmates took a small boat out to that ship while we were dead in the water. my friend snuck away from the work to have a cigarette in the back where i was. we were talking when i suddenly turned to the port side corner of the fantail and right there, not even 50 yards away was the same object i seen 2 nites before. the lights were all I seen and they were curved about 2 ft. apart and there were 5-6 of these lights. there was no mass behind it, no shadow and especially no sound. no sound!and it was to near to us to have no sound. my friend seen it too and when i asked him if he was actually seeing it, he freaked out and ran off leaving me there by myself the entire night. the 1 thing I noticed was that it seemed to be interested in us or me and i have no idea how long it was there before i noticed it. once we did notice it, it let us look for a while but then it once again shut 1 light off and the others followed in order. then it was gone. no sound, no movement was seen. like it went underwater or something. I honestly think it knew I seen it that one other night and it wanted something, I oft! en wonder what it was,it was no aircraft I was trained to identify.and waht would have happened if my friend wasn't there that night. when I reported it to operations they said they seen nothing on radar.

Not sure what to make of it

On 21 Feb 98, approximately 18:00 hrs. (GMT) several objects were recorded, via satellite imagery, flying over the atlantic ocean. 3-4 of these objects first appeared out of the NE. 3-4 others appearing from the SW flying over the gulf of Mexico and over Fla. there are approximately 5 frames to this satellite image, on the second to last frame, there is a formation of three of these objects in the shape of a triangle, over the Island Of bermuda. This is a serious report, and anonymity will remain for security purposes. The images were edited only to remove identifaction information on the marginal area, none of the actual photo has been touched.(information regarding company.) The reason I am sending this is myself, nor co-workers have seen anything like this ever. They are definately not airplanes, they are too small to be recorded. The satellite is used to record Weather information, and common aircraft materials do not report. I sincerely hope I have done the right thing by sending this to NUFORC in hopes that a proper recognition of these objects are reported, and an investigation by a worthy source.

I lived in Bermuda for some years but rented a house called Soncy before we purchased. After a dinner party i was lying on the lawn very early and notices a series of white lights moving at random and speeds. I went inside to collect my video camera and filmed them for maybe 5/10 mins. I sill have the video but it's on an old style video tape and so haven't looked at it for years and also because the tape included close members of my family which would be upsetting. The tapes are available for viewing.

We sat down for dinner.This seating area is outdoors and sits about three stories on a cliffside overlooking the beach and view is to the east. While having dinner I began to observe an apparent helicopter out on the ocean horizon with two very intensely brilliant search lights sweeping the water.I began to notice the other dinners pulling out cameras and mumbling to one another about this and taking many pictures. We finished eating and said goodnite to some friends and headed to room;all the while noticeing that the [helicopter]is slowly working its way towards shore and us. Now the layout of the resort is important.It is "J" shaped, in a cove,on the ocean,with thelong part juting out on a jetty which is where our room was. there is a break in between the building which alows you to get to the beach.We were right at this area about 30 feet from the water when al of a sudden we were lite up like Richard Druyfess in closs encounters of the third kind. I noted to my wife there is the helicopter.Less than 75 feet in the air and no more than 100 feet away.In amater of a few seconds I obseved the 2foot in dia.spotlite turn red as it began to fade of.As it is going out I see that the red color is the filement in the center of the lite and there is a flame coming off it.At the same time Inotice a gas orfice pulling away from the back of the lite and both the lite and gas line are retracting into the bottom of the craft.Also lights[small] are now apearing around the helicopter so I thought!With absolote excitement I now realize that I am looking at a 30 foot in dia. flying saucer, so closs I could hit it with a coffee cup.As I turn to my wife and say it , she is already gone, running scared and screaming for me to get away.I off course noway. I stayed riht there. I observed now that! it has rectangular windows around its perimeter,that everone having dinner above us on the cliff is takeing pictures like it was at arock concert and some were screaming.You see that I now notice that there are 3ET's near the windows. There were two to the right side of the saucer and they were WAVEING HELLO!, to the other people haveing ddinner and then I notice the one looking strate at me. I now know what it means to have your hair stand up on the back of your neck!!!!! It was the most fearfull thing I have ever felt in my life. They were the "GRAYS"; without a doubt!!!!!After about 1 minute with out any noise, it began to head out over the ocean. At about 150 yards out you could hear jets comeing. The British military began chasing them. And off they went out off site.The next morning just after 5a.m.,around sunrise my wife shakes me awake."A-----,she says I dont'know how to say this but a they wre just here."I said who???She tells me that someone just layed her down on the bed. When she oened her eyes there at the foot off the bed et was standing there It raised one hand and waved and lept right out out balcony door about 10 feet never touching the rail. I noted also that I was under the covers and she was on top off them....That day on the beach people said that we should have been there the night before there was a dozen [flying saucsers buzzing the island......

Close Encounters of the Bermudian Kind

I am now 54 years old. About to celebrate our 30th wedding aniversary. Yet I will remember this as long as I live, as though it happened yestreday!

Married 8/19/78. arrived in bermuda for honeymoon 8/22/78. We arrived around noon. We stayed at a resort called The Reefs Beach Club. The resort is situated on a [u] shaped cove on a small cliffside. Around 7:30 in the evening we went to dinner. The area where dinner is served sits above the cove beach, about 2 stories up, overlooking the ocean and our room; which was off to the left down a long walkway and from our view appears as though it was situated on a jetty. You could fish from our balcony. It is now sunset and we are having dinner with friends and I notice off to the east what appears to be a helicopter with two big searchlights sweeping the water, out on the horizon. I notice the other guests are seeing this also. I also observed a man in a dark suit,sitting just behind me at a table with a camera and long telephoto lense, snapping away pictures like crazy. He was so out of place; in a suit and alone at a resort. After dinner we were headed to the beach for a walk. The break between the building was just outside our room. We were standing in between; about 30 feet from the water,when suddenly we were lighted up like R.Druyfus at the railroad crossing in close encounters of the third kind! An intensly white spotlight from the helicoprter was shinning on us no less than 100 feet in the air and 100 feet close.I am looking at this for a few seconds as the light starts to dim, I can see the element in the spot light glowing red as a flame inside burnes off, also what appears to be a gas line retracts from the rear of the light with a flame burning from that also.They both retract into the bottom of the copter, So I thought.I look at my wife and exclaim thats no copter; its a flying saucer. I look to my right and the only thing I see is my wife running to our room yelling get away from it. I say come back , its not everyday you see one o! f these, and she yells I do not want them to take me again!Knock me over with a feather,I make note of that but continue to check it out. Its still hovering, about 35 feet in diameter.with a bank of rectanguler windows completly around its upper circumferance, several red lights appeared on its top part but went off when the spotlight did. I now notice all the people upon the balcony where we had dinner.They are screaming and yelling about it and takeing pictures. Flashbulbs going off like at the end off a rock concert. Hey I have one in my hand. A keystone 110 everflash camera ;it does not work ;great, but if I turn it around you use the lense finder as a binoculer.Thats what I did. O my God! I can see two et's to the right of the saucer waving to the people on the balcony I then realize one is to the left and looking straight down at me I now know what it means to have your hair stand on the back of your neck. That thing looked through me,not just at me.The et's were definately the grays as described by others.Those big black eyes. I will never forget them.I then notice the gray that was looking at me turn its head to its left. The saucer then starts to move out over the ocean. It is behind my apartment for a few seconds as I run to my left towards the end of the jetty wall . It is now already 200 yards offshore and riseing. I now hear thunder behind me getting louder and realize the RAF is sending jets after it If only I had a camcorder I would have them both on film at the same time.and just like that they are gone.Its now about 11 pm and we decideto call it a day. We go to sleep and about 4 am My wife wakes me. Wake up,Wake up;they we just here. I said who , she says the space people. I said what? She says someone just laid me down on the bed .I look over and she is on top of the covers I am under. I woke up to see the gray alien at the foot of the bed turn towards me lift his right hand and wave; he them turned and hopped into the air and out our balcony door. I quick jump out of bed to look and of cours! e nothin g is there.That day on the beach we asked others about what they saw and they said we should have been ther the night before as there were dozens of saucers buzzing the island . They thought we under an invasion. This storey is also partially documented in the Bermuda Royal Gazette Newspaper 8/21/78 and 8/22/78 The headline reads close encounters of the bemudian kind. P.S. saw fast moving blip on the radar scope thin went outside and saw it again.

Wile I was stationed at the Navel station Bermuda as an air traffic controler on the mid shift I and one other controler observed a verry fast moving blip on our 150 mi. radious radar screen.This rader screen is used for overhead and center to center hand offs too and fromus and other centers.This conserned us because of the potential mid air accidents,we delt with both civilian and military aircraft.At about an hour into my shift I observed this blip moving extreamly fast.It traveled about 25 to 35 mi. per sweep of the radar.I notised it at the 150 mi limit watched it for two sweeps when I told my supervisor he observed it for one sweep then told me to go outside to see if I could see any thing.I saw it move from the east to the west for an instant then turn to the south instantly and continue south untill it went out of sight.When I went back inside the radar room my supervisor confermed the same thing.At this point I was told not to say anything ,that it just did't happen.

To Whom it May Concern:

I checked your website for information relating to a sighting from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Sebago in the Bermuda area in the late 1950's (probably '57-'58). At the time, it was well publicized and in 1969 I read an article in the ((deleted)) newspaper which indicated that this was one of the most credible sightings on record and even listed the names of those who witnessed the event.

In ((date deleted/late 1950's)) I was assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard ((deleted/large ship)), a ((deleted)) ft. ((deleted)) which was home ported in ((port deleted)). One of my ship mates was ((name, rank, and speciality deleted)) who previously had been stationed on the Sebago (a 255 ft. patrol vessel) which was ((deleted)) home ported in Mobile. He was one of the eyewitnesses who saw the UFO and was also the radar operator who actually tracked it.

He explained the situation as follows: The Sebago was conducting an Ocean Station Patrol in an area near Bermuda. As was common practice during the late night hours, the ship's engines were stopped but still on-line and the vessel was merely drifting in the open ocean. Around 2 or 3am a lighted object was spotted low in the sky off the starboard beam at a distance of only a mile or so. It also showed up on the air search radar as being stationary.

At this time there were several watch personnel on the bridge, including the Officer of the Deck. They watched the object for several minutes before it started moving slowly in a circular pattern around the ship. When it reached the starting point it suddenly headed away from the ship at a rate of speed which was beyond the capability of the radar to measure.

The details above are approximations as I remember them and I am not not implying that they are totally accurate. As a ((former)) Coast Guardsman, I have always been intrigued by this incident and would like to know if you have any data related to it.
