Comet-like 'star' object seen over Eastern Afghanistan

On the evening of the 14th, approximately 2115 local time in an area several miles south of Kabul, Afghanistan I observed a stationary 'star-like' object in the Eastern sky, approximately 80 degrees E. It was a bright white light with a spherical white aura surrounding it, like a comet without a tail. It was the brightest object in the night sky.

I suspected it might be Venus, but couldn't explain the 'aura'. I thought it might be star-light shining through dust in the sky but didn't see any similar effect on any other stars. A thunderstorm was passing Southeast that afternoon/evening into Pakistan as well. I observed it for about 5-10 minutes before going into my room.

When I went to work the next morning I asked my night-shift subordinates if they had seen anything similar in the sky that night, and 1 said they had seen exactly what I described. They said it was there and did not move for a 'long time' and then just disappeared.

I am a US Soldier with 12 years of Aviation experience on rotary wing aircraft, including 550 flight hours. I have observed 1 UFO that I reported here on May 12 2009.

I am located on a FOB with an active airfield of fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

About to go to bed, I walk out of my room and see a very very bright light with a red tinge in the sky. I've seen a lot of things flying here. This had no strobe, wasn't moving and was way to high for a flare. I went to wake my nco up and when we walked out it was gone. I took two pictures and a short 51 second video. In the second pic which was taken less than a second after the first I notice a second light next two it. I didn't see this with the naked eye due to the brightness.

Light cone emiits smoke blast.

It was emitting a cone shaped light that stopped in distance. The lit craft then emitted a smoke like substance that expanded out from the cone shaped light in a perfect circle.

the cloud continued to grow in size until touching the ground and reaching hundreds of feet in the sky. we thought it was a nuclear blast but heard no sound. and the cloud was nowhere near bright enough.

we reported it to our command but they said it was an illumination round.

I have been a mortar man for 10 years and I know what illumination looks like and that was not even bright enough for that. It was pitch black outside and the sky was perfectly clear except for this object.

after the smoke cloud dissipated about 5 min later the object was gone and the light cone had shifted into a cloud as well and dissipated about 3 min after the large one.

It came from Pakistan.

After a long interrogation through a radio, under a Canadian helicopter I did see a UFO. The helicopter left in a hurry, and then I saw it. The UFO came straight at me, and I mean straight. From the horizon to in my face without making a sound.
I was communicating through secure coms. The person that I was talking to was a grandmother. She wanted to congratulate me playing the key role in finding Bin Ladin and show her sympathy for me. She explained that she is a slave from an agency that exists outside of Government norms. She did everything that she could to make sure that I would take "The Job" in 2020. (I did not take the job)
She explained many things, like a society of slaves who by in large lead extravagant lives. She explained that most of them live in the ocean.

She also answered some of my questions about the craft. That was the first time that I heard of graphene. It was three layers thick and I damaged the whole unit when I shot it, even though it didn't get through the armor. It must have been filled to the brim with energy, because when I shot it GIANT green sparks shot out.
She said that it was jamming my FOBs secure communications, but she had to be close to do it. Maybe a couple hundred meters.
I forget what bells and whistles it had, but it was a lot. A key feature is that it can leave orbit.
She was to be crucified for her treason.

After the UFO left, the alien showed themselves...but you are never going to believe it.
Half matter, half energy. Existing all at once, their whole time line. They can take the form of any living thing. I wasn't talking to one of them, I was talking to their "king".
For a being that "can see the future" they were surprised by my disappointment in their choice of facial hair.
It is worth noting that they are subject to debauchery.
The being that I was talking to was beyond judgment, right or wrong, not good or evil, and beyond the law. Able to move with precision.

I believe it wanted to set things up in a specific order.

WORKING ON A LARGE AIRFIELD. BACKGROUND: OVER 15YRS EXPERIENCE ON AIRCRAFT. HELICOPTER AND FIGHTER ATTACK PLATFORMS.

WITNESSED TWO ORANGE/RED LIGHTS HOVERING IN NIGHT SKY. EST. DISTANCE 2-4 MILES AWAY. LIGHTS WERE ADJACENT WITH THE ONE ON RIGHT EITHER SLIGHTLY LOWER OR SLIGHTY FARTHER AWAY. TO HIGH TO BE RAISED TOWERS, TO STILL TO BE HELICOPTERS AND TO DIM TO BE FLARES. LIGHTS DID NOT BLINK OR FLICKER. EST. ELEVATION: 1K-3K FEET. I STOOD STILL WATCHING THEM FOR 5 TO 7 MINUTES WITH NO MOVEMENT WHAT SO EVER. LEFT THE AREA FOR 10-12 MINUTES. UPON RETURN ONLY ONE LIGHT STILL VISIBLE AND ALMOST OUT OF SIGHTY ABOVE THE HORIZON.

Hi I made a report from FOB Gamberi in afghanistan a few months back, well I returned to recheck the size of the object as it hovered over the FOB, the V-shape object as I said was bigger then the FOB, the fob is 3 sq mile. It is a fob within a fob. The afghan fob is the outer perimiter to our fob. Since my return to Gamberi I walked the whole fob every day to check on the measurements. Also check maps to check on the height of the mountains on which i saw it come from, the mountain is 1200 ft high and cloud level for that night was 3000 ft, which means that the V-shape object was at least a mile long or longer since its 3 corners stuck outside of the (ANA) Afghan National Armys fob. I will be home between the 18th or 20th of Nov once I am releast from camp attaberry in Ind.

V shape formation over Afhganistan

While I was on guard duty, from ((deleted)) to ((deleted)) hrs., I looked up to the northern mountains at my 2:00 o'clock I saw a string of lights moving from east to west; it stopped at my 12:00 o'clock. I ran out of the tower with my NVG (night vision goggles). As I got to the outside of the tower the object was gone.

I stared in the area and noticed that the object was coming out of a left bank turn heading towards me. The mountains are about 2 miles away, and it floated over our Forward Observation Base (F.O.B.) in Afghanistan.

It stopped over our base and it spun around pointing north again it drifted west over a small village. Just past the village, it stopped then it just shot over the northern mountains in a split second.

The object was 5 large lights in a V shape formation. I could not see the object, due to the cloud cover, but you can tell that it was one solid object with 5 lights. It was also very large as it hovered over the base, I can see that it was larger then the base!

In a war zone no military air craft are to fly with lights on, and I know all of our aircrafts. Also, as the U.F.O was hovering over the base it was a windy night with gust of 30 miles. It had stopped and it started again as it passed.

We spoke via telephone with the witness, and he sounded to us to be quite sober-minded, and quite serious about the sighting. He reported that he thought the altitude of the tops of the mountains was about 2,000 feet. Also, he estimated that the object appeared to be, from the vantage point of the witness, to be larger than a clenched fist, at arm's length, appears to be. PD

I saw a triangular ufo while I was at work at the kabul international airport

I work at the airport in Kabul Afghanistan. I was talking to my mother on my cell phone around midnight on 15 April 2010. I was standing outside in the middle of the infield next to the Radar site. I saw a dark triangular craft floating about 60-80 yards away and about 100 feet above the ground. It was dark and had even darker round type windows, it floated silently and hovered around in an area about 200 feet. I thought at the time that it was a possible unmanned aerial vehicle since the military lives just the other side of the fence.

However, since I was in the Air Force and worked around UAV's for 8 years and the fact that they would not be operating UAV's on or around an active civillian runway, I can only speculate as to what it was.

Unknown objects behind planes in Afghanistan.

I was taking photos of aircraft as they landed at Bagram Airbase Afghanistan. I never saw the objects while I was shooting; I only saw them after they were on my laptop for editing. They appear as brown spot almost football shaped, I blew up the images and they seem to have form and mass but I am no expert. The only adjustment made was auto color done with picture project software that I use. I first thought this was dust until I noticed it was only on two of my photos and they were taken almost one hour apart all the photo in between have no dust at all, and the lens was never cleaned during shooting. I can send the photos and metadata with lat and long but the time is off on my camera. These photos were taken around 0930 to 1100 UTC/GMT +4:30 hours.

I work for the U.S. Government in Kandahar Afghanistan. I was taking photos of an area for a new project site and later noticed an object captured in the photo. I did not see the object when taking the photo. It is not dust, debris, or known military aircraft. I have worked for the government all my adult life, mostly in aviation, and heve never seen anything like this. Naturally, the photo is blury, but when zooming in on the object it is obvious it is disk shaped and must have been flying at a higr rate of speed for me not to have seen it.

Golden lights pulsating

I was making my way back to my tent after chow and saw two bright golden lights high in the sky. At first I thought the lights were stars.

Then I wondered why I had never noticed these stars before. As I walked I watched as the two stars begin to pulsate. They got brighter and dimmer at a steady pace and then just disapeared.

About 30 seconds later they came back on and did the same thing again.

I hurried to the tent and got the first person I saw to watch for it again. We stood there for another few minutes waiting but they never came back.

I saw a light while pulling a guard shift in Afghanistan that at first I assumed was a satellite.

I was stationed in Afghanistan from Spring of 2005 to winter of 2006. In my first few months, we were put along the Pakistan/Afghanistan border to stop Taliban from having free travel across country to country. It was the hot spot of the country at the time. We had observation posts (OP) all along the border. Each having from one squad to an entire platoon stationed on each OP.

My squad was stationed on an OP right in front of a big plain the locals called the "Dashteh". Put along a ridge line we watched over the border. 24 hours, someone was always on guard obviously and we would rotate through our company of pulling shifts, OPs, patrols and time off. So we were low on sleep sometimes but I was not at the time. I was well rested.

A Special Forces soldier that we were stationed with told me of how there is absolutely no light pollution which is why at night we could literally see every star the naked eye could see. We could even see satellites....just small white dots of lights that moved along in the sky, orbiting the earth. Simple put, they looked like moving stars that did not flicker. They were easy spot and very common. Looking at the sky at night you could easily see 2-3 of them in 10 minutes....and shooting stars. We saw plenty.

I was pulling my guard shift one morning right before the sun was rising. When I was woken up for my shift, it was dark, when my shift was coming to an end, the sun was beginning to rise (Early Morning Nautical Twilight). The sun was not up yet but it was starting to shed light to begin the day.

Nearing the end of my shift, the moon was still out and I saw, what I assumed, was one of the satellites I have already seen so many nights before. For some reason, I kept my eye on it. I watched it for about 30 seconds or so before it did what it did. It slowly moved along in the sky, just as all the other satellites did that I watched. It cruised along, directly under the moon moving from South to North. The moon was nearly full and from where I sat, two adult hand widths above the horizon. The second the light got on the North side of the moon, it's speed changed to drastically fast, shifted directly up 90 degrees towards the sky, shot away in a straight line, straight up, and faded away in about 1 and a half to 2 seconds. From start to finish, it's flight path was like a capital L. I asked if any of my squad members saw what I saw but no one else was awake. It felt unreal and I was very frustrated that I was the only person that witnessed it.

Where we were at was absolutely deafening silence. If you stopped breathing, you could actually experience being deaf. The craft made no sound or anything of the sort. It didn't flicker, change shape, or change color. It stayed constant (a small white dot of light traveling South to North) until it got on the North side of the moon and shot away. The only thing that changed was it's speed and direction. It did not leave a trail.

Now, I am a skeptic with ghosts and UFOs and what not but I do not see how what I saw is explainable. No human aircraft can make that sort of maneuver let alone move at that sort of speed.

silver-colored, dot-sized flash-like UFO in Kabul, Afghanistan, around midnight

Well, last night around 1:00 AM I woke up to go to toilet, but when i looked up to sky I saw a bright dot-sized silver-colored flash in the sky moving so fast from about east to south. It did not produce any other lights that could be seen. first I thought it was a comet, but after a bit I found out that it wasn't that. the UFO was bright, fast about the size of a star and did not put a trail behind it.

At the same time, I called my wife and my son to see that, and they saw too. We were scared of its movement !!! and when we told it to the other friends and nighbors in tomorrow of that, they all said they were not awake on that exact time.

No sound. Incredible vertical speed.

During the evening of Dec 31st 2000 I witnessed a clyrindrical object moving slowly against the backdrop of the mountains surrounding Kabul. At the bottom of the cylinder were green and red pulsating lights.

The object moved slowly from left to right for about 5 minuites and then abruptly rose vertically and dissapeared into the clouds at a very fast rate.

Looking at the same view the next morning and judging the distances, I estimate the object was about 100 mtrs long and about 20mtrs high.

I could hear no sounds at the time that made me think that the object was under jet propulsion, indeed, at that time there were no aircraft anywhere near the area.
